Is this a Strike-based roll? A saving throw? How does this lightning strike work? Besides it doing 2D6 M.D./level of experience?
Yes, you (or in this case, me) roll a d20 for a to-hit, and the target has the option to try and dodge. Thanks to the Carpet of Adhesion, the Skelebots can't dodge, so as long as you don't blow the roll, you've hit. Critical strikes are possible for the extra damage.

Yes, sir! I am sooo glad I decided to use it.
I don't see where the Skill roll was requested, but hey - if everyone's happy, so am I. =)

Wait a minute! What if I just put the whole frigging case of these things up against the reactor?!? That should be much faster than doing this a few at a time!
This makes sense to me that Terra (the only one among us with the Demolitions Skill) would come to this conclusion. Sure, I may have thought of it, but I didn't feel it was quite right for Snowfall to express it. He doesn't know anything about bombs, placement, etc.. but most of all, I'm just glad something good came out of that hyperactive moon-filled ranting I'm so prone to giving. =)

Cool and wow at the same time - especially at the part where it can Critically hit! =)

Sherwood Sherwood Snowfall has one action left to him this round. I would like to have him move to a spot where everyone in the party can reach him easily and quickly (taking into account Eron's incredible speed). He will be casting his Dimensional Teleport Tattoo Magic (Success chance: 98% or with true numbers, 101%).

(I think I brought this up a good while back but now it needs asking again.) This is the part where I ask you which dimensions are you comfortable with us going to? The spell description indicates that the caster has to have some knowledge of the dimension in question. Snowfall is a celestial messenger of an ancient god - he's traveled all over the Megaverse in the past 7 1/2 centuries. What places he's interested in that he hasn't set paw on he likely "knows of" from the great many skills in that direction he has.

So where do you feel comfortable with us going? How long do you want us to be there? As our GM, would you be happier with us teleporting twice (once to the destination and once again back to the Badger)? I don't want to chance derailing the game by taking us somewhere you'd rather us not go.

If you want it to be up to me, I'd like us to go to some very safe near a huge ley line/stable nexus point perhaps in the Phase World galaxy - some place in definitely friendly territory where they aren't likely to bother anyone. At least, that's the first place that comes to mind.

If the latter is true, then...@Silanon Psychie Psychie Snowfall has the P.P.E. and Physical Endurance (it costs both) to take us out of Rifts Earth, but not enough P.P.E. to cast it twice - he lacks the P.P.E. for that. Sherwood has stated we can take P.P.E. from willing hosts (including P.P.E. batteries). He'll need 175 more P.P.E. to cast Dimensional Teleport twice or only 25 more P.P.E. if he really taxes himself (it will take him a full day to recover from that, but he'll still be able to get around). I can produce the math if anyone is interested.

Finally, if the team can pony up the 175 P.P.E., the cost of P.E. is 1d4+4 per casting. If the 25 is spent, then it's a flat 12 P.E. per casting for a total of 24 P.E.. With rest, he'll get those back at 1 P.E. per hour.

I would think that the most obvious place to D-shift to is one that you would feel safe and know well. Your own home dimension where your Clan is located, or on the flipside, Terra's home dimension would both be safe and ones that you would be able to go to and recover your lost PPE/PE if you don't shift back right away.

I have been working on a plan to have you guys go through for your next adventure, and while I had expected that you would be starting out in Dweomer, spending some time in one of your home dimensions would certainly work. It also helps to get Terra her new set of tattoos that Psychie is wanting for her. Either way is good.

If you go right back to the Badger, it is in a safe location (at least for the moment) and you guys can then spend some time there recovering your lost points.

If Snowfall holds his position where he is, it will take mere moments for everyone to rally around you (roughly an action, perhaps two for Terra and Morrolan), then you can use your power to get out of there.

Ah, last I checked fox spirits/Kitsune don't run in clans? Clans is a human concept. Unless you mean the Atlantean Clan (Aurelous) he is part of? If so, that's a great idea!

Yeah, I don't want anything happening to the guys in the Badger. Plus, that area is still Morrolan's neck of the woods and I don't have any idea if he wants to stay with us after this or get dropped off at Dweomer or what would make him happy.

Like I said, I want Snowfall to move (using his Blazing Comet speed if necessary) to a point in the room where the slowest can reach him at the same time the fastest can (Eron is going to leave Terra and Morrolan in the dust). It's only a matter of moments, and it probably doesn't matter to the success of the scene. Just long enough for everyone to get together and Terra to throw the grenades that set off the rest (or however she chooses to do it - I recommend grenades because those have timed fuses).

With the Comet Tattoo and Eron's own Crazy speed, you can get to a point near Morrolan (the slowest of the bunch) and Terra. If you swing wide around and snag Eron, you can do that in one action, since he's out of his melee attacks right now. Then Terra can use one of her remaining attacks to trigger the kabooms and you guys can all get the hell out of there.

Purr Purr I need to know where you plan on dimensional teleporting to so I can appropriately describe the painful death that awaits you all! Mwuhahaha!

Also, I want to make sure that we are all on the same page here. The plan is to D-port out to a safe location. At that point, are you jumping right to the Badger, or are you staying in the other dimension for a while?

I would suggest we get to the Badger soon, so it doesn't get found and destroyed or drive off without us.

O.K.. Snowfall will 'port us to... heck! Let's go to Terra's parent's house! Can't think of a safer place, plus I bet they'd enjoy the reunion! How's that sound?
