Hey guys! I made this just to see what awesome ideas y'all have, synthesized in a single sentence lol. It doesn't have to be your latest RP idea and if you have that many/can, you can describe past RPs you've created or brainstormed for. That being said, this is a thread for appreciation of ideas, not as a place to deliberately rip ideas off - if you are inspired by the concept of someone else, please credit or let the person know :>

I'll go first!

A Coraline-inspired horror/mystery roleplay where the players play as the children living with Other Mother (and various other side characters) who found themselves in her dimension quite similarly to how Coraline found her way in.

A circus roleplay where players get to play as various members of that circus; the drama will mostly come from the inner dynamics of members, romances, rivalries, secrets that the ringmaster may hide, etc.

A dragoness takes shelter from hunters/poachers/trappers with a sorcerer in willing servitude with exchange for protection, unknowing that she will come to fill a prophecy.

A werewolf and a human-turned-eldritch being teamed up to stop the invasion of outer gods as reality started to unfold because the reigning deity, the abrahamic god, was dying.

A smuggling submarine crew in a post-apocalyptic earth where almost everything is covered in water, and the land that is still above water is toxic to step foot on (highly inspired by Firefly and Ha_lfLife ’s original idea)

I once had a sci-fi role-play heavily inspired by Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak:

A professional team of arms dealers fuel and profit off of a bloody resource war that has ravaged a developing desert planet on the outskirts of colonised space for many years, delivering their deadly goods to all sides of the conflict with the help of a gigantic sandcruiser.

Misfit vampires transport an old dusty box across America while being attacked by other vampires and vampire hunters

I'm glad you think so! It's a fun idea I've been sitting on for years. The Orre region from the Gamecube games is a desert, which fits the Pandora planet aesthetic, and Vault Guardians are kinda like legendary Pokemon, so I had a plot drafted up where a company mining for evolution stones accidentally digs up iridium and sells it as a new evolution type, when it's really just creating slagged Pokemon... It's basically the plot of Gale of Darkness but with guns, LOL.

In once sentence (and still trying to determine if it's even a viable idea): An Attack On Titan inspired survival RP with a counter for the current human population, no Titan Shifters, and walls 20m high made of regular stone/earth.

I go into a bit more detail for people not familiar with specific fandoms but that’s the one sentence description.

Muse A has a short encounter with Muse B, and Muse A descends into obsession as they try to find Muse B (who they believe to be their soulmate) despite not knowing anything identifiable about them.

Cutesy, candy themed storybook characters are transported into real world New York (Eventually followed by villains from the storybook) and have to adapt to society despite being innocent and oblivious to real-world things, they are introduced to a much more mature landscape than the one they are used to and change based on their experiences in the real world.

In a magical world reduced to an endless desert, kings race against each other in their moving cities pulled by gargantuan beasts to find a divine oasis on the opposite end of the globe wherein their chosen god will recreate the world in the vision of the victor.

Speaking of that roleplay, I literally cannot get into the site. I keep getting gateway time-out errors every time I try.
