Let's not forget Sil! =)

Also (later on), would you tell me what Snowfall sees with his Helmet of All-Seeing? He's checking out the rider with them, right?

I'll catch up once I'm able to - been busy these past few days and didn't really have the time to get stuff done.

Silanon Silanon No worries with this Dannigan! I've been there in Real Life myself so I'm here cheering for you! Go get 'em, Sil! 8D

Purr Purr Hey, short question since you made sure to have a detailed overview, it seemed - so you might know the answer. How much cash did all of us get, in total? Counting only the things where Eron was present... I found Psychie initial proposal with 83.6 million each, but I believe there was more...

Sherwood Sherwood Anyway - shopping. I'll go with two of the largest crystals, fire and acid. One for each sword. Did we already pay for the cloaks and stuff? Psychie paid for the Badger, thanks for that!

I'd like to get a box of flashbangs and smoke grenades (a dozen each) for tactical purposes. No idea how much they cost. Are there any other grenades that don't make noise, but offer utility?

Other than that - I don't think there's much Eron needs. Unless I missed stuff when I rechecked the ooc just now. So, question: Is there a way to invest the money? Preferably as some kind of loan that would help other people get equipped for their heroic adventuring? It's not about high profits, more about helping the cause (without completely giving up the money via donations).

Huh? Oh! Yaie! Let me see and I'll get back with you?

The cloaks! I completely forgot about the cloaks! That's what started all of this! Thanks, Sil!

What about those psychic-flashbangs discussed here in OOC a little while back?

In Rifts? Whoa! I'd like to know the answer to this too!

Huh? Oh! Yaie! Let me see and I'll get back with you?
That'd be great, thanks!

Thanks for the reminder - half a dozen of those, please. If slicing doesn't do the trick, I want options.

There's also that bag of holding I meant to grab, but didn't mention just now.

I have a post in mind, but it's getting late here - might be able to write it down tomorrow. There's also something Eron meant to discuss with Snowfall, but I missed the timing. Not sure how to do that yet.

Those are the Dimensional Pockets! They weigh 5 lbs., carry 200 lbs., and cost 1 million credits (if memory serves) and Eron bought one! =)

Silanon Silanon Re: Finances. Well...

1. There's the additional 333,333 credits for the wheeled vehicles.
2. The 5 million each (15/3) in gems we elected to keep.
3. And I think that's it? The 5 million in credits Snowfall received from Moloch for the Mechanoids was divided between he and Terra (as Eron was not yet in-game).

I'll keep perusing; if I find something else, I'll let you know!

Sherwood Sherwood

How much did the Skill training cost in credits? I don't remember being charged for changing our Skills?

Okies! Could we please have the game-related descriptions and info (stats, proper functions, etc.) we need for...

1. ...the Camouflage Cloaks?

2. ...the Cloaks of Shadowy Walking?

3. ...the magic-shrouding Talismans (I don't know their name)?

Bonus! Oh and here's a party item I think we all missed - the Anti-Magic crystal that Daisy found in the temple? Tell me that thing wouldn't be useful down the road. We found it and we hardly got to use it! Remember this thing, team? =)

From IC Post #2249.
During your various experimentations and about a half hour of trying, Daisy finally does something that makes a change in the crystal, and the wave of magical energy from the nexus comes crashing down on you like a hammer, making your nose twitch and bringing about a sneezing fit before you can get yourself under control once more. The anti-magic field is clearly down.

You do know that the others are out front with the dragon, so if you want to take your new toy to them and show it off, you can.

I will limit the number of skills you can purchase per level to just two, and no, you would only get your Iq Bonus (if any) to these. Also, I will charge you a flat 20,000 credits per skill, and all the prerequisite skills will have to be there before you buy a new skill. The skill training will also require someone to educate you, most likely at Dweomer, since that is your current base of operations.
Moloch continues with, "Since you are trying to keep yourselves hidden, I would suggest using more technology-based stealth systems. There is a camouflage cloak that is battery powered, and can basically duplicate the effects of a Chameleon spell. If you walk slowly or are standing still, you are nearly invisible. Walking or running faster raises up the odds that someone will spot you. The power cell runs for sixty minutes of continual cloaking effect, and the battery can be quickly replaced with another quickly."

Once everyone is inside, the doors close and the elevator car starts down. "As for price, these are hardly cheap trinkets. But for Brazamal, I will give you my 'friends and family' discount. I will be able to part with the Psychic Dampeners for a cost of 100,000 each, and believe me, that is a bargain. For the Camo Cloaks, they are easier to acquire, and will only cost you 80,000 each."
It took me some hunting to find the posts, but here they are.

I was wondering if anyone would remember that.

Ah, sorry I knew that. I guess what I'm asking is - is there anything more to them? Are these items out of the books somewhere with additional information, history, details, pictures? If the answer is 'no,' that's fine. But if the answer is yes, now seems the time to ask. =)

I came up with this stuff on my own, so there is no pictures or books to reference. Sorry I misunderstood your questions.

No worries! I wasn't clear enough when I asked them. Thanks for creating neat stuff! =)

Thanks a lot!

We ordered more of the cloaking stuff than we need, right? Did someone cover that already, or can I just pay for that?

I hadn't yet paid for Snowfall's. That's awfully kind of you, Sil! =)
Happy to put my money to use - we ordered eight of each, so that'd be 1.44 million unless I messed up my calculations?

So - add to this the dimensional pocket for 1, the sword crystals at 5 each, so 10...

Sherwood Sherwood How much for the grenades, and do you have the write-up and cost for the psychic flashbangs? I looked, but can't find the post right now. Maybe you happen to have it at hand?

What about the possibility of investments?

We did? I missed that post and I went looking! Glad you found it!

So... 8 Psychic Dampeners at 100,000 each = 800k
8 Camo Cloaks at 80,000 each. = 640k
800k + 640k = 1.44 million! =)

Psychie Psychie ordered 'em in the main thread =)

Sherwood Sherwood Question about the sword crystals. Shining Mirror doubles its damage against some fiendish foes. Would the additional damage from the crystals be doubled as well, or is it counted separately?

Sounds reasonable, thanks for the clarification! It would double on critical hits as usual though, right?

Also: What about the other stuff further above?

Crits are handled as usual, with the damage done being doubled for the whole shebang.

As far as investing, I have never had any player ask me about that before. I'll have to think about that a bit.
