Fair enough. I was going on such a role I forgot where we were posting.... My apologies. Thanks for the nice evaluation. I wasn't going to have her interact with the characters themselves unless promptly told to by either Latios or Ember, assuming she's accepted as an Arc Villain of course.
I do like her as a character, and would like to see her as an antagonist in a later arc, but it is a joint decision between Latios and myself. And I do agree with Grieve Writer on establishing relations, that is in fact the plan for this arc really, and a but of filler before the next arc.

Looking her over again, I suppose she could make for an occasional rival type that two or three characters could battle against at a time. But due to her glass cannon nature, it would make sense thematically for her to at least reach Arc Villain status before she's able to enter a true redemption arc. That way consistent conflict with her could more naturally develop interactions between her and the cast while also allowing some build up for the organization that's controlling her. None of the cast would have a clear understanding of what her deal is until the pieces come together after several encounters.

Perhaps at that point something can occur with the organization or something wrong in the experiment or something that powers her up to Arc-Villain status, even if it's only for a bit. It's all to make sure the audience isn't too overwhelmed having to get used to both the heroes and first major opponent at the same time.

GrieveWriter GrieveWriter Hmm... Your idea is excellent. It is up to them to decide of course , but a natural progression leading to her becoming an Arc Villain would be much more reasonable than just "poof... Arc Villain here" without any buildup. They'll just have to let me know when in the story for her to appear and reemerge for story progression, to do such a thing and it'd be easy to implement.

Okay, CaptainSully CaptainSully Emperor Of Embers Emperor Of Embers

Are you two working on a cooperative post for Leo and Oakris?

Just asking because RedtheRoyalGuard RedtheRoyalGuard and I are almost at a good spot where we could end our fight, but I don't want either of you to feel rushed if you've already started your thing privately.

I don't mind ending our fight. It should go down quickly considering our characters are still going. Should we just end our match in a draw?

Yes, we are.

I was just asking because I initially went into our fight comparing it to the previous one which was almost assuredly a stomp battle. I figured I'd write while taking into consideration that two capable combatants would definitely keep each other going for longer. Comparing in quantities of text alone, we've almost been going for twice as long, which was my original goal. However, I don't want the readers to feel like it's going for too long. However, if you two aren't done with your joint text, I wouldn't want you to feel as though you have to rush it since you're next.

I'm not sure what exactly would happen in the case of a tie, since that is completely at the discretion of the GM. I was mainly asking whether you two were done writing up your joint post so we could work towards wrapping up our battle, since at this point it could go either way.

Hmmm.... I am unsure of what to do in case of a draw.

Yeah, but I don't....have my post up yet ..
Oh I know, I was just saying that we could start writing towards an ending if those two were done with their post already.

It could be whatever, from mutual disqualification to mutual advancement to even just having them recover until after the next match and try again.

Because no matter the winner, this whole tournament is pretty much just establishing base maxes that'll become irrelevant after one or two training arcs/

GrieveWriter GrieveWriter I feel like Dakon will be the one to begin teaching Doburu things. Not sure why.

Pretty sure it's because the whole point of having a bunch of characters establish some dynamics is for them to learn things from each other through interaction. Their all supposed to teach stuff to each other, what that stuff is is up to each individual writer.

Yuki could surprise everyone by going full on supersaiyan, which wouldn't be fair considering she'd be against a human

Are all three finalists gonna hop into a private convo and just rapid fire the entire fight like Oak and Leo?

While I could go either way, it does seem more compact and convenient in comparison to earlier fights, even if it does slow down posting rates.

If you all really want to, then I say go ahead! In all honesty, it saves me from feeling my phone vibrate a lot. And you all will be actively writing it out as you collaborate! I HIGHLY encourage conversation between everyone.

I 100% think a collab would be the best way forward. We used Google docs and just took it in turns to add to it. If we do it that way it means people can continue to post without interrupting the flow of the battle.

As for going super Saiyan, that means nothing and has been proven numerous times in the series that it isn't an instant win.
