    I'm not exactly sure, I've been doing it so much that I suppose it's just learned behavior. Like, I still have access to an earlier piece of writing I did and could tell you the differences are jarring.

    I suppose I'm just good at coming up with a mental image, then picking out what would be necessary for someone else to get the picture. But one writing style isn't for everyone. I'd recommend just finding some good stories to enjoy and seeing how they do it.

    Yeah, it seemed so. Hey, while you're here, what genres are you most interested in? I've been considering making a sci-fi/fantasy group roleplay.

    Ooh, Sci-Fantasy doesn't come around often here, and usually doesn' last long. But hey, you get people in with a good hook and I've seen some amazing things happen.

    Right now I've gone through quite a number of fandom/fantasy stuff myself, but I like to think that a good hook is a better determining factor than anything.
