Fantasy When Olympus Burns

TRISH SACHETS

Once they were done getting ready, Trish accompanied Umeko to the dining hall. She had been quite talkative (the topics were mostly about herself) and peppy. But the moment she entered the room, she shuddered, "Yeesh, it feels like something died in here," She scoffed. But would she stop there? No. Something felt obviously wrong and Trish hated not having the perfect ambiance. What would she do in those situations, you ask? She would whine and rant till her heart's content.

"Gosh the decor is so dull. Why does no one look like they want to party. I didn't get pretty just for this. Oh wait, I'm always pretty." She laughed before getting a plate for herself. "Ugh all of you look so exhausted, like you have no motivation to be heeere," She whined, "And why do I feel so hungry? Rosemary you better not fatten me up again. I like your food and all, but extra weight is deathly." Trish paused, feeling more antsy by the minute. "Finny, why aren't you in formals? I thought that was a specification,"
".... Please don't ever call me that." Finnegan mumbled.
"This is all so pointless. We should've just sat around a campfire and played Never Have I Ever... But I don't feel motivated for that either," She continued. There was no stopping her.

"Despaaaair, booooredooom, oh the horror,"

Gaige finished her little project and stood up placing it o the table behind her. "Sweet I can't wait.We can also go get divinity forms which apparently are a thing. Just have to kill or god parents and take their godly juices." She took out the gun and started inspecting it. She put it in her bag with many other things she may need. She turned to them. "I mean, I don't see why not. We're talking weapons, fighting, and not sitting down in a dinner with our pathetic Alpha. I am so down with this plan. When do we start?" "Sweet I can't wait.We can also go get divinity forms which apparently are a thing. Just have to kill or god parents and take their godly juices." Kristov happy to hear Blue was fully on board, and then Gaige contributed gold in his silver mine. The plan began with an offering to his father, hearing he could indeed gain more power afterwards confirmed his suspicions.
"Then it's settled. I wish I had brought Demon.. but I can't carry more than two people. There's a group of strangers on the island. I am not sure how they got in, but that is Alpha's problem, no? We need to find a way to sneak in. I got a freebee running back across the island since they didn't know I was there, but I doubt I'll get another window... Blue, can you make all of us invisible reflecting light? Then I'll just run us back across the water.
Our first objective is to meet up with Demon. He's at the sword beacons. We teleport out and we should exit near Athens. There is a weak monster stronghold there, not many guards and no overall Monster like Python. We are not leaving a trace. We go in and collect everything important, We kill anyone who sees us. The stronghold holds 2000 foot solders, I say we make it a friendly competition. First to 500 wins, last to 500 gets last pick of the goodies we find. Sounds fun now doesn't it?"
Kristov looked at Blue, "Let's practice that espionage, aye?"

Xavier exhaled dramatically. He put the sandwich down and tapped the end of his cane and the snake head shot up and out of its out a black darkness arched down, making an pure black umbrella. "You know I can feed myself at the moment, right?" "I know you can, cutie. I was feeding you as an expression of love and a desire to take care of you, but if you insist on this training..." "Why don't we train down here while I'm trapped, at least come up with some ideas to use our powers together so I'm not wasting away for nothing. Speaking of which, did my efforts work as intended?" Just the memory of Jayden laying there pointlessly draining his love of her vital energy infuriated Xavier. He recomposed himself we he noticed his frantic emotions were changing the scene, killing the roses. He calmed and revitalized the ones lost. "It seems to be going well, last I checked, Gaige is making me a new super weapon from my gun. She should be done soon, I'll go check after you get bored of me. SOOOO!!! How exactly do you intend to train my sweet? I could never harm you. I guess we can revisit the battles of our past, fight those beings again, stronger?"

Vernuhal Squeaked being lifted away from the puppers. She cursed herself being so light. The sneeze escaped her, but being directed towards the empty air saved everyone, or so she thought. Being swung of the ground did not make matters better, it worsened them. When she sneaked, she accidentally upchucked a little bit. Luckily the mess only slid down her mouth and spatted on the ground... she was feeling so so sick.. why couldn't she just rest.... if they could just get to the negotiation tables so Vernuhal could go to the restroom.....

Blue
Blue nods his head with a grin, to be honest he didn't know how he'd exactly get 500 monsters out of the way with a bow. Which usually takes out a single target per shot. Regardless of this he still had to try his best with this group. "Alright, I'm up for that challenge. I can give us the invisibility we need as well." Blue makes the light reflect from their bodies, making them invisible. "Alright, lets get going." ( Skaggon Skaggon DizjayDeathPride DizjayDeathPride )

Selene
Selene smiles a bit, unable to contain it from his words. "I'm not going to get bored of you." Selene walks over to Xavier and gives him a small kiss, pulling away after a few seconds. "Now, I suggest we fight against an old but stronger enemy. It should do us some good since we are slightly familiar but it is strong enough to challenge new tactics." Elizabeth sat beside her friend's sleeping body waiting patiently for him to wake up. They always said rank didn't matter, and it was true. Kappa ranked Kristov was teaching the Beta, making her stronger rather than the other way around. Elizabeth clenched her grip against the cold dirt forcibly leaving a trail. How could she think about replacing Finnegan when she herself wasn't even the perfect leader? Elizabeth punched the ground in despair. No one truly was the perfect leader.. She punched the ground again. Why did she have to be so pathetic? The heavens mocked her futile struggles. She didn't deserve to command her fellow Demispawn, and she didn't deserve to command the stars. Elizabeth's sorrow was eating at her, breaking her resolve, but soon Kristov stirred. She shook her head rapidly to push away the tears pooling in her eyes. He was waking up and she didn't know what to say, she didn't want to explain why her eyes were glossy.
"Glad to see you're awake... Croaked from her lips. He responded, but he did something else she hadn't expected: he motivated her. ""You have so much potential, Elizabeth. You need to achieve it. Just like I must... There is more out there, so much more. I am meant for more, greatness. A sick world that you would not be apart of, Liz..... There is a killer within you, I haven't forgotten. You just need to be pushed. And when you do, I will be above land for you.." He grabbed her hands while she was still dazed and gently kissed where she had bruised. She must have disturbed him in his sleep.. Her face was getting hot with embarrassment, but he saved her the humiliation and dashed off.
Elizabeth smiled softly to herself. He always readjusted her when she felt lost or fallen off of the path. He was a friend she was glad to have. Kristov reminded her to not doubt herself or her capabilities.

Elizabeth slapped her palms together. She had a new goal. Combining all of her previous efforts, from drawing in stellar energy, to manifesting its power. The stars shape created Hercules. The power can be concussive, and the radiation of warmth and light caused effect. In her mind she designed Kristov's blades. She pictured everything from the curve to the weight to the decal to the sharpness. So much light was emanating off of Elizabeth as she concentrated just on remembering his blades, that by the time she was ready to actually recreate them the forest around her was all blinded by light. Stellar winds produced by the energy swirling around Elizabeth whipped and burned the trees in the clearing to ash, and the radius only continued to spread. Elizabeth was unaware of what she was doing because she was in the center of it all. "For a weapon made of a star, you must create its core first. Heat and stellar power combined, condensed. The magic of the heavens swirled together and created the stars. The magic of the heavens now comes together in my image. She opened her eyes, but didn't lose her concentration. She extended her hands and focused on the shape and weight of his blades in her hand. The energy was collecting together, forming a match of Kristov's weapons in her hands. Once they finished forming, a final jet of molten hot wind burst from her body.
The blades were created of purest light, shimmering brilliantly and even more beautifully than her blades do when they collected energy. Photons waved and faded off the ends and the heat radiating off distorted the air around them. She opened her palms and released the light. It exploded in a flash and the light scattered away like dust

Death
After listening to what 'Lydia' had to say, Letavis raised an eyebrow. Now this was a first. 'Telepathy?' He thought to himself as he tried to come up with a response. His companions would most likely not want to bother with introductions, and he did not intend to have Vernuhal anywhere near the people here, due to her current condition. Thus, he decided to introduce them himself. "Yes, of course. My companions are rather... Shy." He said after a slight pause. "So if I may, I shall speak in their stead. The man in the cloak is known as Andre, the woman with black hair is Stella, and the sick girl is Vernuhal." He pointed at each of them as he stated their names to the wolf. Unlike a certain wolf named 'Lydia', he answered honestly, and without lies or deceit. "We wish to speak with your leader regarding the incident in Egypt. Soon, if possible, lest another incident of the sort occurs." He spoke with a hint of sadness in his voice, as though it were a tragedy. Well, it was a tragedy in his eyes. Precious lives were snuffed out far too early, and without reason. "I'm sure that you're aware of what I refer to." He added.

FINNEGAN BROWN

Finnegan felt the atmosphere drop to an all time low, and something told him that this time, it wasn't because of him entering the room. Everyone seemed to want to be moody. He did not like that. Why? Because he felt at home, and it was weird. What made it worse was Trish wouldn't shut up. "I can't take this anymore," He sighed, getting a plate of freshly baked salmon and walking out the room. He would enjoy dinner in his house.

As he got past the courtyard, he saw Fia and four new people. Finnegan looked at them for a moment. He could sense the aura of death emanating from them. He knew it wasn't the same energy as his though, it felt... Vile.

What now? He wondered as he approached them. "Good evening," He said calmly, eyeing all of them, "Welcome to our... humble abode. Might I ask who you are and what you want? You're just in time, we could discuss this over dinner." He said, trying his best to maintain the sarcasm out of his voice. He did mean it, but he was hungry and that made him snappy.

Umeko could tell that Trish wanted to talk beauty, so she remained silent. That was, until Trish started asking about the mission. Umeko simply made idle chatter, telling the girl about the Spartan army and the underwater base, until she finished with her hair. Looking herself over in the mirror, Umeko smiled. Maybe lipstick would work good, and after a moment to figure out how to apply a matching tone of lipstick, Trish and Umeko made their way to the dining hall.

Something was off, however. Trish labeled it as ambiance, but the growling in Umeko's stomach said otherwise. She hadn't been very peckish before, but now it felt like she was starving. Something was wrong. Her expression darkened, and she looked to her strings of fate, which matched her dress perfectly. Four newcomers on the docks. All she saw of them was a shadowy figure, labeled one through four. "The docks," she mumbled, wondering if she should slip off on her own or bring someone with her.

The boat ride was pleasant, as it usually is when there isn't a lot of people on the boat. It was nice to be out from the underground sometimes, Yuki mused. He smiled, looking about the ruined Athens woods. His smile faltered, however, when he got a glance at Rhea's troubled glances towards Mason. Like the good son he was, he took his adopted mother's hand and gave her a light squeeze to assure her, but remained silent, smiling at his caregiver in a reassuring way.

Rhea & Klytios
Rhea smiled at Yuki and mouthed the words thank you once he took her hand. She was grateful for the company since she did give herself quite the scare and appreciated Yuki not questioning her on it. "I think we're in the area Mason! If you find any flowers that look like purple hands ju-" At this moment from the right side, Klytios burst through trees, knocking them over towards Rhea. He was currently standing at 15 feet, having finally noticed the group of three before him. "Demi-beings?" He mumbles towards himself, looking at Rhea afterwards. "With a titan?" Klytios knocks the tree to the side, saving Rhea. "Who are you? What brings you here...what faction do you belong to? I am Klytios, future ruler of the Giant faction."

Far above in the sky, the clouds began to churn suspiciously. Klytios looks up at the sky and then down at the group, thinking it was their doing. He wasn't going to say anything about it. He would just stay on high alert now. ( Dirtbear Dirtbear Noivian Noivian )

The daughter of Strife took her sweet time getting to the dining hall, only to halt in her tracks as she felt her stomach roll uncomfortably with hunger all of a sudden and her shoulder slumping downwards as she reached the courtyard. That's very... odd. Where did that come from? A frown marred her features as she pressed her hands to her stomach. She shouldn't be this hungry nor this tired. Sure, she spent a lot of energy during the mission and she hasn't eaten since yesterday, but it shouldn't be this much, nor should she have felt it so suddenly.

She shook her head, both trying to make sense of these sudden feelings gnawing at her and trying to banish them, and in that slight action, she managed to spy the pirate ship at the docks. Didn't they leave it behind? Oh, right. Kristov and Elizabeth were-- Her eyebrows furrowed as she felt foreign rage nipping at the back of her mind. That's definitely not from either of those two. Deciding that she should go and check that out, she briefly debated removing her shoes in case whoever's at the docks were when Finnegan breezed past her and made his way to the docks. Yep, something was definitely not right. Avice decided to forgo removing her shoes and followed after the Alpha, making sure not to trip all over herself with her heels.

Reaching the docks, a few steps behind the Alpha, barely catching Finnegan's sarcastic words, the daughter of Strife frowned as she was welcomed with the sight of Fia in wolf form in front of four strangers, "Oh, guests. What a surprise! Did Selene invite you to the dinner too?" Avice couldn't help but ask, who knew who Selene knew from her Astral plane? The whole stint with the portals basically opened up a whole new realm of possibilities. Her voice lowered at the end of her question, confused as the hunger and feeling of lack of motivation gnawed even more at her.

Yuki startled, looking up at the giant. Klytios, he introduced himself as? The wannabe ninja thought back on his lessons on Greek mythology, but couldn't place anything to the name. Then again, he had spent most of his youth studying his father's culture rather than his mother's, out of spite for the female half of his biological tree. Stepping forwards, Yuki began speaking, surprising himself and probably others with how forwards he was. "Klytios, we're simply here to accompany Rhea," he gestured to Rhea as he said her name. "We're just looking for flowers, and then we'll be on our way. We don't want any trouble." Smiling, Yuki spread his arms in a gesture of peace. Hopefully this wouldn't devolve into a conflict.

( ! ) ( ! ) Klytios nods his head at Yuki's words, it seemed like they were outside of the war. Maybe they were refugee's trying to live off of flowers. It didn't bother him much since nobody was a threat anyways. He could only be killed by fire and someone free from fate. Escorting a titan was quite strange though, why would they need to do that if she has so much power? "As strange as your objective is. I believe you, I desire no trouble as well. I will be on my way now." Klytios continues walking off in the direction he was originally headed in. Rhea was extremely tense as the moment, looking towards Mason as well. She was surprised no conflict occurred and they were allowed to walk freely.

Klytios turned around once more, raising his hand to gather their attention. "Hey, do you know the directions tow-" A silver ray of light struck behind him from the churning clouds. A spear pierced through his chest a second afterwards. "GAH" Klytios was lifted into the air, dangling on the spear while clawing at it desperately. Behind him, a humanoid figure made of silver gas, light, and liquid was holding the 20 foot spear. This being was standing at 6 feet, around the size of a tall human. The being swings its spear and throws Klytios off to the side, knocking over trees as the gigante flies 30 feet. The silver being walks over to Rhea as it's spear begins to shrink to a size of 10 feet. Everytime it said a word, it's body would flash in silver. "Ah! Rhea my dear sister, it has been far too long since we have seen one another. I was watching over the area when I sensed the presence of a giant, two demi-beings, and yourself. Don't you remember me? Titan of the West...Titan of Silver? Titan of mortality and mortal life span? They even called me the piercer." The titan approaches them, holding his arms out widely as he boasts.

Rhea takes a step back, resisting the urge to glare at him. To be honest, she wanted to leave now, Rhea was scared. "Iapetus...I remember you." She looks at the titan within his titan form, trying to think of a way to escape this situation with Mason and Yuki. "Sister! Why don't you take your titan form?! Why don't I feel any power from you? Why do you feel so...human?" Iapetus sounded surprised himself at the last word. He glances at Mason and Yuki beside her. "Oh, let me relieve you of your burden first, we can't talk in peace if there are spectators." Iapetus thrusts out his arm and has his spear extend to cover the 40 feet between it and Yuki. It was only a few seconds away from piercing his stomach. Rhea couldn't react fast enough to alarm Yuki of what was coming, mostly because Iapetus was faster than what she could perceive.

Klytios came out of the trees, angry at both parties this time. "You liars!" Klytios rushes in, throwing a fist down upon Mason. ( Dirtbear Dirtbear Noivian Noivian )

Fia tilted her head, trying to dissect Letavis's statement; of course she couldn't verify whether or not he was telling the truth but, when he mentioned the incident in Egypt, Fia took pause. Had word of their attack on the monster stronghold really spread that quickly? And if this were the case, were these four people monsters in disguise? This could be some kind of revenge plot.
Before Fia could respond, Finnegan's voice reached her ears, and Fia mentally sighed - Fia was purposefully trying to withhold as much information as she could without raising too much suspicion and she didn't trust Finnegan to do the same. She wasn't able to get a word in before he invited the four of them to dinner.
Taking a glance at him, her voice was projected into his mind alone, "Careful with them. They've introduced themselves as Letavis, Andre, Stella and Vernuhal." She nodded her head to all four of them as she mentioned their names, "They're here to discuss our actions in Egypt. And for the time they're here, call me Lydia. It might be worth treating me as some sort of pet for that duration too."
She looked back at Letavis, speaking to him once again, "This is our leader. You can conduct niceties with him."
It was then Avice arrived.
"I wouldn't call them guests, Avice, I think they're here for a much more sinister purpose then just dinner. And while they're here, call me Lydia. Don't ask why, just do it. I'll explain after they've gone."
She moved to Finnegan's left, standing next to him, her stature showing some sort of submissiveness.

Yuki's smile faltered, and he dropped his hands, stepping away from Rhea as he put a hand on his smaller blade strapped to his hip. Watching as the giant was flung across the forest was shocking, eye opening, and he kept his gaze on the being that did it. He eyed the mass of silver color. He could only just barely start to process what the other titan was saying, before a wet sound reverberated in his ears. Shock hit him first, a warmth soaking into his clothes. Eyes wide, Yuki looked down to where the silver spear had pierced right through him. Dimly, he was aware of his armor ruined by the gushing blood and the gaping hole in the leather, as well as the shattered sword. So that's why he was called the piercer... "Oh..." he muttered breathlessly, his free right hand gripping the shaft of the spear jutting into his stomach. Dark spots overtook his vision, and Yuki was distantly aware of a cry of pain. Was it his? Rhea's? Both? His imagination? He was fading from reality too quickly to discern.

The Reaper

Iapetus, Titan General of the West

Rhea screams at the top of her lungs as the spear plunged into Yuki. Iapetus was annoyed at the shrill scream, making him pull the spear back and let Yuki drop to the floor. Usually he would fling the target afterwards but Rhea seemed so against it. The scent of gun powder hung in the air. "What's wrong sister?! They're just demi-beings, you've had your children swallowed before. If it's any consolation he's not dead yet, you can have a few words with him before he goes out. Look I'll pierce him again and he'll still have enough life left in him for a minute long conversation." Iapetus thrusts out his spear towards Yuki's shoulder at the same blinding speed. Though before it made contact with Yuki, a bullet flew by Yuki's head and hit the tip of the spear. This bullet was cut clean in half. One half sliding at high speeds along the top of the spear and the other on the bottom. Each half of the bullet hits Iapetus's fingers holding the spear. It causes him to narrowly miss Yuki, hitting the tree behind him. Iapetus merely hissed in pain, "What was tha-" Suddenly his head flew up, looking upwards as if he were hit by an uppercut punch. This was because another bullet was fired at the spear, allowing the entire bullet to slide up the shaft of it. A bullet was fired right after this one, hitting the back of the previous bullet to make it point upwards and hit Iapetus in the chin once close enough. It seemed like the bullets weren't intended to penetrate the skin. Who ever fired those must have had excellent aim. These bullets looked small enough to come out of a pistol as well. Iapetus seemed to be staggered by this, looking around for an enemy that wasn't there.

Rhea used this opportunity to grab Yuki and put pressure on his wound. She threw his arm over her shoulder and turned to the thick forest. "Mason! This way!" She hoped Mason would be able to dodge and follow. "Hang in there Yuki, there's gotta be herbs here in the forest to help you. Talk to me, stay awake." She didn't know who or what helped them but that didn't change the fact that she was grateful. ( Dirtbear Dirtbear Noivian Noivian )

Rhea was explaining what they were doing in this particular forest. Trees begin to fall over and Mason is launched over, tree bearing down on Mason. Mason had his living armor aid him in keeping the tree he was leaning on from crushing him. He rolled from underneath it and exhales deeply, surprised something so big could sneak up on them. Mason reached his feet and strengthened his living armor, ensuring he was ready if any battle broke out. The giant spoke, introducing himself, keeping his attention away from Mason.

Yuki stepped forward and began to explain their presence in the forest. Mason was about to mention whether the giant knew of the difference between Greek and Roman names and fashions, when everything went sideways. The giant was struck with a spear out of nowhere. Mason looked over and saw a fancy figure holding the end of the spear. He closed his eyes to focus on his surroundings for auras and couldn't sense any other than the ones in his vicinity. Especially the newcomer, which put Mason on the defensive. The giant was grown and the earth shook as he landed, Mason held his ground, becoming wary of this thing by him.

He heard it was Rhea's brother and his attitude relented. Mason began to ask him the question about Romans and Greeks when his spear extended and pierced through Yuki. Mason froze. His chest felt solid and he looked over to Rhea, wondering what had just happened. This action meant her brother, Iapetus, was an enemy. Mason rushed towards Yuki to cauterize his wounds, help stabilize him.

Klytios' fist burst through the air as Mason was crossing the distance between Yuki and himself. Mason thrust his weight into the punch with arms raised, cloaked in his living armor. The impact caused the earth around Mason to shift, his body sunk deep into the ground, creating a crater around he blow. Mason was growing angry. His group member sustained a devastating injury under his care. This giant was stopping him from helping Yuki. This giant needed to be removed from his path.

Mason's body began to light up in a deep red. Mason looked up into the Giant's eyes and held on firmly to this fist, using some of his metal to dig into it's flesh. His fire began to lick and ignite around his shoulders and head, burning through the clothing. He continued to stare into this Giant's eyes, scowling at his opponent.

"Get out of my way!" He growled, launching scorching flames into and up Klytios' arm.

Rhea shouted but it was drowned by the rush of blood and the crackling of the flames around him.

Pain. Pain like you wouldn't believe. It flared up from his gut, the moment Rhea pushed her palm into the bleeding wound, and spread to his limbs, echoing back and forth through his body and mind. He grasped at her wrist, trying to pull it off him while he screamed. But his fingers did little to deter her hand, instead leaving small marks from his nails on her arm. He was like a feral animal at this point. Legs limp, he attempted to follow along blindly through the wood with Rhea. He didn't bother looking back for Mason, his vision fading in and out.

Iapetus watched as Rhea fled with the child, utterly confused on why she's been in hiding for so long and why she's siding with them. He watches Mason and his abilities, piecing it together. Iapetus now assumed the Olympians were using demi-beings as their main troops. Rhea would side with the Olympians anyways since she betrayed Kronos for them once before. "I see now...you're all working for the Olympians." He mumbles to himself and disappears under a ray of silver light. He was intending to watch them from the sky to see where their base is. He was intending to report all of this to Lord Kronos, his brother.

Klytios roars in pain once the fire began to crawl up his hand. He pulls this hand back and slams his free fist into Mason's side with intentions of knocking him into Rhea. "I have nothing to worry about! It takes fire and a child free from fate to kill me. Which is something that doesn't exist, I'll just have to endure the pain of my first bane." Klytios grits his teeth as the fire began to crawl up his arm. ( Dirtbear Dirtbear Noivian Noivian )

A cute little burp escaped her. She giggled and wiggled free from Stella's grip. Remembering the now drying trail of vomit down her mouth she rapidly wiped it away with her sleeve. Her allergies kicked in and she sneezed into her hands and wiped them off on her pants. She extended her hand out to the member that offered food, Finnegan. "Hi! Kristov was happy with his team's spunk. It was already time to go, no problems really. Thinking about it they would be gone for a very long time, they should probably take supplies, but what's the point of adventure if you don't scavenge for your meals? "Alright, when Blue makes us invisible I will carry you across the water. Two bodies atop of mine might break the water's surface... I'm going to run very, very fast. You might get a bit of motion sickness from this one."

Once Blue turned the team invisible Kristov slung them up and ran full speed out of the workshop and back across the water. He had to pick up pace around the exit which caused a strong burst of wind to push out at the docks left by the vacuum he created. An obvious trail was made from his feet running across the water and picking it up behind him. He saw Finnegan was handling the group of intruders, and they were attempting to shake hands so many it was fine, whatever who cared. It was fine, because in a few seconds he was already across the way and slowing down, careful not to squish his passengers' organs, but still running to the sword beacon. As expected, Demon was waiting for the three to show up. Kristov slowed to a stop and set the two down, ruffling both of their messy heads "Cool, looks like we've got everyone.. TO ATHENS!!"

Xavier rested the arm holding the umbrella up around Selene's shoulders. The field was melting away,
the colors blending together like a mix of paint. The area grew brighter as the area was changing.
Buildings turning into a small metropolitan city rose high into the sky. The brightness dimmed and grey as clouds blew in and covered the sky, ultimately blanketing the world. Loud thunderous music played while not far down the street a giant monster was molding, forming. People screamed and ran down the street trying to get away from the creature. "You're right, cutie. You could never get tired of me. Hmm.... thinking.. thinking.... why don't we put a little twist on an old hag." The mold took shadowy shape, tens of feet high into the sky, towering above all of the multistory sky scrapers. "Remember Echinda? Heh... yeeeah." The mother of monsters locked on to Selene and Xavier and roared with enough force to push winds 40 mph back against them. Xavier had to hold on for dear life to his umbrella while also trying not to fly away. "Id suggest we run."

Umeko

Umeko looked about. The party was dull, that was for sure. However, it was such a small gathering, on top of the fact that she had decided to wear bright red, there was no way Umeko could slip off without someone noticing. So, lightly, she brushed her hand against Trish's arm, speaking lowly as if only to Trish but loud enough for everyone to hear, "I forgot my clutch at my house. I'll be right back."

In reality, Umeko had no intentions of coming back. She had seen some leave the party already, and despite the gnawing in her gut, she was more inclined to examine the others at the docks. Finnegan would be there, no doubt, and he'd probably need the higher ranking members of the group there, like the Beta, Gamma, and Delta. Only, the Gamma was out right now with her twin Yuki and she hadn't seen the Beta since their mission earlier today. Umeko considered poking into Mason's string to see how things were going, but decided against it. There were more imminent things to deal with than her brother.

Slipping away from the group. Umeko began to make her way towards the docks, picking up the front of her dress to prevent the fabric from tripping her as she quickly jogged down, as fast as her uncomfortable shoes would let her.
