BEN REILLY: SPIDER-MAN
Spider-Man replied the presumed SHIELD agent's question, "You're a SHIELD agent, don't you have flame rounds or something?!"

The symbiote bonded to her caused Hana to turn slightly, noticing Faith.
"Long story!" Hana shouted "All you need to know is that this loser eats people and he's trying to eat more!" She pointed at Carnage

"Pretty sure that's Venom's thing,"
Spidey corrected the Mech Pilot.

Hana and the agents sighed in unison at the questions. It had been a long day.
"We've been using incendiary rounds and specialised ammo ever since the symbiotes attacked." One of them explained "Where have you been?"
"And he literally just said he likes the taste of blood in his mouth...Kinda implies he likes eating people.." Hana shrugged

Cortova listens, surprised to hear something so serious from the tiefling woman. “I see. Well, looks like we’re here. Gotta get my head in the game.” She says, surveying what she can see of what will soon be a battlefield.

“Would have been nice to get some practice on the bots, but hey.” She lifts her blaster, ready to begin on the signal. “This shouldn’t be hard, destroying things is a talent of mine.” She’s says, smirking widely. The swarm is restless, filling the air around her with a menacing dark cloud.

Magnus Burnsides: En-Route to Gladius-II
"The girl's right." Ward shook his head "We need to do a sweep of this ship, see if there's more of these things."
Magnus had already rushed to the next part of the ship, checking under every hiding space he could think of for another one of the creatures. As he kicked the door in of a locker room, the sound of three gunshots came from upstairs.
Peaking his head out, Magnus nodded firmly at the others and started to sprint towards the bridge, pushing his way past a few SHIELD agents on the way.

By the time he reached the bridge, the sounds of gunfire had ceased, replaced instead by screaming. Kicking the door open, Magnus saw a Mouther slip into the air vents and was prepared to go after it. That was when he saw the state of the bridge. While most of the agents were unharmed, one body was slumped against the walls.

Looking around, Magnus' eyes widened in horror as he saw Reed, clutching his gut as with his back against a now bloodied wall. Thankfully, the scientist was still breathing.

"I'll try to remember that." Serana nodded "Minity, where did you find these people?"
"Kot nearly crashed into the wall. That giant magical wall made of ice among other things. I promised him I'd help him find his brothers. As for Talion, he showed up and offered help. It's not like I was going to turn either of them down."

The guards looked at each other and then back at Sigmund
"A Stormcloak?" One of them asked "You're losing this war. Sigmund and Vortex both made short work of the army and your King is imprisoned within the walls of his own Hold. It will not be long before the siege of Windhelm breaks him."
Sigmund grinned "The Imperials rule Skyrim. I made sure of it. Your claims mean nothing, your words mean nothing and it will not be long before your legacy is nonexistent. For I! The one and only true Dragonborn will be there to kill Ulfric myself and end this petty war!"

He laughed "You can shout, but the people of this region view me as the true Dragonborn. If you keep this up, every guard and soldier across Skyrim will be after your head."

Sigmund was interrupted as a guard charged through the doors. He took a moment to catch his breath
"Sigmund! I...I have a letter for you. It's urgent."
"Even more urgent than this?" He scoffed
"The prisoner escaped from the wall."

He cursed under his breath, tightly clenching his fists and yet he managed to compose himself.

With the Sith invasion dealt with, soldiers started escorting civilians back into the city. The building Kiara was hiding in just so happened to be a family home, with food still on the table and some furnishings turned over, likely thrown aside as the family tried to flee. With people returning back to the city, it wasn't long before a family of four Twi'leks walked back inside.

There were two children, one of them being a little girl and the other teenage boy, a large dog and two women. It took them a moment to notice Kiara.
"Oh." One of the women said, shock in her eyes "The army's moving people back into the city. If you've been looting..."

The other woman approached, noticing some of Kiara's blood "She's hurt. We can't just throw her out." She said to her partner "What's your name, sweetie?"

Karla and Venkman: The Wasteland
Venkman looked up.
"Guys, get ready." He said

On the other side of Vortex's territory there were dozens of flashes of golden light, deploying the vehicles and some heavier weapons.
Vortex reacted immediately, scrambling a few armed scouts and bombers to investigate. But as he approached, the factory would be struck by the XCOM squad. Four large explosions went off inside of the tank factory.
"What the hell is going on!?" Vortex screamed "How did they get through my defences."
"Stealth drives, sir?" The Protectron suggested
"It doesn't matter." Vortex shook his mechanical head "I'm going to wipe those bastards out! Do they have any idea how much metal I used to put that factory together!?"

A few drones stationed around the base moved in, accompanied by half a dozen tank units. One of the drones stepped forwards, and with it's voice projected spoke to the team inside.
"You are surrounded from all sides! Surrender and I might let you walk out of here with..."

A sniper picked the drone off, shattering it's head and dropping it to the ground.

"Now that was just rude." Vortex complained

The tanks moved into protective positions around the factory as drones and Protectrons moved in, laying down suppressive fire on the windows and doors. Vortex hated having to do damage to his own factory, he'd spent a lot of time on it but flushing the invaders out was a priority.
The XCOM squad returned fire, and Vortex felt a sharp pain in his circuits as a Specialist managed to hack one of his hover-tanks. It turned to open fire on the others, blowing a gaping hole in one with it's energy weapon before the others moved to intercept, destroying it with a few well-placed blasts.

More tanks and drones moved in and soon enough, all of Vortex's ground forces had surrounded the factory. Even the bombers hovered outside in case any of the squad were to try and make a run for it.
He scanned for life-forms seeing that only a small squad had infiltrated the factory "Those idiots!" He chuckled to himself "Don't they realise it's a suicide mission?!"

The merc plane deployed, dropping the first wave of the allied troops at the vehicles. The pilot gave Deathstroke a thumbs up as the plane cleared out and he took off, flying back to Diamond City.
"Let's go!" Gary shouted "Don't give that bastard a chance!"

He moved towards one of the heavier Raider tanks, jumping inside as a few of Noose's men followed him. It pushed forwards as mortar shots from the artillery were launched simultaneously, taking out dozens upon dozens of Vortex ground units.

Seeing that more forces had launched an attack, Vortex looked through the eyes of one of his drones as they moved into the factory. He recognised the armour immediately...XCOM.
"Fuck!" He yelled

Scanning the battlefield, Vortex detected life-signs and sent a three dozen bombers towards the vehicles. Rex and Preston could only look up as Firehawks flew in, the roar of their engines filling the ears of the small army on the ground.
"Everybody back!" Preston yelled

Before the bombers could start their assault, one of them was blown out of the sky. Rex looked up to see Indian fighter jets fly into view, annihilating the bombers with well-placed shots before one could even touch the army. He gave them a salute and pushed forwards, the clones, Raiders and Minutemen at his back.
"This is Tiger squad." One of the pilots said on his radio "Laying down covering fire."
"This is Tiger-2, I'm on approach." A woman's voice said
"Tiger-3 here." Another pilot said "Watch your tail."
"Let's show this junkpile what happens when you mess with the India Empire!" Tiger leader said

"Alright he's distracted." Venkman muttered. With the snap of his fingers, he created a Twilight Gate inside of Vortex's command centre. He was the first one out, riding through on his motorcycle as turrets and armed guards opened fire...But the Mage had been expecting that.

As the group had made it's way towards the location of the attack he had casting multiple defence spells on himself. Many bullets missed due to sheer poor luck alone, for he had twisted fate in his own favour.

He slammed the bike into a wall and jumped off, taking cover behind a few metal crates. He nodded at the others and teleported into the Twilight realm directly.
Moments later he appeared behind one of the turrets that he destroyed with a mere touch for he commanded the forces to death to decay the object into nothingness. Within seconds hundreds of years of rust and disrepair struck the turret, causing it to crumble.

As the other turrets turned on him, Venkman teleported again, moving through the Twilight to his next target.

Karla was the next one through, a few Mages behind her. With MC in her hands, and a fireball at her tail she charged into the room. Three scorching rays of flame struck three drones simultaneously, destroying them.
-
Outside of the command centre, the battle raged on. The heavier forces outside of the factory had rightfully turned their attention to the larger force, however the drones kept up the pressure on XCOM, moving into the factory. As one of the snipers moved for more cover, he took a shot to the side and was pinned down.

He reached for his revolver, returning fire as one of his squadmates moved in to carry him.

The tanks opened fire on the approaching army as the bombers moved in. Preston dived at Noose, pushing the two of them just out of range of a bomb while a charging Rex watched as one of the Raider tanks was flipped over by a Firehawk's assault. It was reduced to charred, metal remains within seconds.
The other tanks moved in, returning fire and focusing on the heavier units while troops used them as cover.

The Indian fighter plans circled around the base as they were chased by the Firehawks, laying down covering fire for the ground forces while frantically dodging laser blasts.
One pilot noticed half a dozen bombers moving in towards one of the tanks soldiers were pinned down behind and turned to fly after them, laying down fire and taking the bombers out of the skies.

One of the downed bombers spun out of control, crashing into the side of the factory as Vortex tried to save the unit. With a giant gaping hole now in the factory, the XCOM soldiers started to pull back, laying down covering fire while the wounded were carried to safety.

Cortova sprints through the portal, the swarm seeming used to it now. “Alright guys, you know the drill!” She yells, and they spread out, a flood of shadows filling the hallway to begin taking out units. Cutting wires, jamming sensors, and generally screwing with all the complex inner workings of the machines.

Cortova sprints ahead, her suit sealed to protect her from any gas based attacks. She’s incredibly agile considering that she’s a human in full body armor, ducking and dodging around projectiles, only to fire her blaster back at her attackers with deadly accuracy. There’s gotta be a main transmitter around here somewhere. Take that out, and Vortex is done.

"Sir, there seems to be an allied XCOM with us. The insignia..."
"Visuals."
The Commander was treated to a picture of this new XCOM. They looked rather... ragtag. Nothing like the grey armored soldiers that the Commander had at his disposal.
"Alright. Well, they're on our side seeing as they're attacking Vortex. Skyranger 0-1, deploy. We've got 2 interceptors trailing you."
The Skyranger pilot responded with an affirmative.
The Skyranger touched down, and all of a sudden, the XCOM engaging the factory were met up with... XCOM? The new XCOM had different signs, with yellow circles and a red X on both sides of the Skyranger.
The two Laser HWPs immediately rolled out, firing their laser cannons at random Vortex units.
Pixels grabbed a smoke grenade off the Skyranger and tossed it onto the tanks, which exploded. Then all 6 soldiers with their laser rifles immediately dashed outside the Skyranger, firing shots at the random units firing at this new XCOM. Potential new ally?

Peter jumped after Carnage, kicking him in the gut and off of D.Va. However, Carnage quickly caught himself, shooting a web at a nearby car and yanking it back, hitting Peter with it from behind. "What the ouch!" Peter yelled, getting to his feet and rubbing his back.

"Damn, didn't crush you like a spider. Oh well, I can stab you like a man!" Carnage laughed, tendrils firing from his back, flying towards Peter.

"Hey, that's cheating!" Parker replied, dodging by leaning back, putting his pressure onto his hands before pushing off of them, propelling himself into the air, firing a web at a lamp post and pulling himself towards it. His eyes widened as another tendril came flying right for his face. Shooting a web to the ground, Peter pulled himself down, landing on all fours and narrowly avoiding another blow. "Holy...you have zero chill dude!"

Carnage didn't let up, charging at Peter before jumping over him, lashing out at Ben. "And don't think I've forgotten about you, little one!" The symbiote snarled. "Now you know me...and so I must rip that brain out of your spider-head of yours!"

Shimazu, Senshi, and Take: Rush Valley

Shimazu knew the situation, he could always snatch the stone from her, he had some Ki still built up and would have just enough for a powerful and quick dash, but he would not know what to do with it, and though he did not believe that shattering the stone or waiting too long would stilt the souls, his guts told him that was too big a risk to take. Shimazu weighed the options, let her go and risk losing the souls for good, why would she give up such a powerful entity so easily? It didn't make sense. Or he could take the stone and try to force the souls out of the stone with the souls trapped in his Ki. Either way he weighed the options, and at his final decision watching the smug elf taunt him, he gritted his teeth. "If you release the souls, now, I will let you go." Shimazu said, if Findyrt would remember the Samurai are soldiers of honor, they could not break a promise no matter how much they wished too. Shimazu approached Findyrt before she could make a witty reply, almost pressing his body against hers, "Dare trick me, and i will make sure you can trick no longer, that is not a threat to your life, that is a promise to your health, I would love to see you trick others without arms or legs." Shimazu backed up, "Release the souls and leave with your monstrosity, mark my words when we cross paths again, it will be the end of you." Shimazu had walked into the doorway before bringing up a subtle defensive stance, he would not let Findyrt leave until she let the souls go.

Karla and Venkman: The Wasteland
Karla kept up the pressure, throwing fireballs and basting more rays at people. As a few bullets were launched at her, they stopped in mid-air and fell to the ground. She looked over her shoulder and winked at a Mage while another started to reshape the metal, creating small barriers to block attacks, allowing the others to push forwards.

Forty one Protectrons as well as even more drones stood in the way of the commander centre's main room, setting up a strong defence and as Cortova pressed onwards, Venkman teleported to her side.
"Hold back just a little" He said with a nod "Keep my Mage buddies and that Tiefling woman alive...And if I don't make it back."

He handed Cortova an envelope with a red wax seal
"Tell the Mages to give this to a Sin-Eater called Brian. He'll know what it means."

He smiled and teleported again, this time inside of the main command room. On the other side was the towering form of Vortex's prime body.
"So, we meet face to face." Venkman smirked
"What the hell are you doing?" Vortex demanded
"I'm talking to you, what does it look like?"
"You know what I mean you sarcastic prick."

Vortex tilted slightly, displaying multiple screens of the battle outside. The two versions of XCOM fought side-by side and with a closer look each member had the symbol of the Indian Empire on their back.
The downed sniper was dragged towards cover, continuing to fire on the approaching drones while a Specialist tried to hack through another tank outside. Vortex felt a sharp pain as another one of his tanks turned on the rest of his army, running over a few drones before self-destructing and taking another two tanks with it.

Another tank rolled up next to the factory, opening fire on the drones and giving the two versions of XCOM some more legroom.
One of the squad looked at the members of the other team.
"Thanks. We were kinda screwed there for a second. Just need to keep up the pressure a little bit longer!"

He fired a few shots from his rifle and ducked under cover as bullets flew over his head.

-
On the battlefield, a stray blast struck Gary's tank and it was flipped onto it's side. Yelling in pain, he tried to crawl towards the hatch but felt an intense pain in his arms and legs. It took every ounce of strength he had left in his now broken body, but he managed to push the hatch open and crawl out onto the battlefield. Blood ran down the left side of his face and he noticed a piece of shrapnel jammed into his left leg.
An armoured drone approached the downed tank, the metal pounding of it's footsteps filling Gary's ears. He tried to stand and run but the pain caused him to fall again, letting out a yell that made the drone turn.

"Nice try, loser. Looks like I killed all your friends." It mocked in Vortex's voice
Gary spat blood at the drone and heard a few gunshots go off right as the drone fell to the ground. It's head was now nothing more than a mess of circuitry and sparks.
Looking behind him, Gary saw Noose who quickly pulled him to his feet.
"Can you walk?" She asked
"I'll try..." He tried to set one of his legs down "Nope."

Picking up the drone's rifle, Noose handed it to Gary and started to carry him back to the plane. It was unloading the second wave of troops and some of the wounded were being carried aboard in their place.
-
Rex stood beside Preston, the two men back to back as drones closed in on them. As they opened fire, Preston jumped in front of Rex, using his power armour as a shield while the Clone returned fire.
"C'mon you clankers!" Rex chuckled "You can do better than that! I know you can!"
"Oh you know it..." One drone spoke, getting cut off as Rex unloaded a shot into it's skull.

Preston fired the occasional shot from his Musket rifle, taking out drones that were closing in from a distance. As one drone closed in, he hit it across the face with the back of his rifle and stomped it's head in.
-
"This? Oh, this wasn't me. Some mercs gathered forces and me and my Mage buddies joined them." Venkman shrugged "People back home might not like me doing this, but everybody volunteered and anything I face back there will be worth it to stop you."
"But why!?" Vortex shouted "Can't you see I'm trying to make a better world!?"
"A better world?" Venkman scoffed "Shall I list your track record?"

He took a step towards Vortex "Desecrating sacred ground."
"I didn't know!"
"I'm talking about blowing it up and killing my friend! That's not even mentioning the genocide or all the innocent people you've killed!"
"That was Ghandi! He hacked me!"
"You expect me to believe that? You've had it out for the old man since you met him."
"Maybe if you weren't sucking Ghandi's cock..."

"I'll let you in on a little secret, Vortex. I don't trust Ghandi either.
"So why are you fighting me!? I'm trying to help people!"
"Because Ghandi hasn't threatened my people, condemned billions of souls or murdered my friends!" Venkman snapped
"If you're that much of a fucking idiot, why even talk to me?" Vortex sighed

"I'm here to try and save your life."
"Seriously?!"
"Surrender, self-destruct your forces and come South with me to stand trial for your crimes. I'll see to it that you aren't executed."
"Surrender?"
"Look around you! Look through the eyes of every unit you have out there! You're losing this fight! And in a few minutes people are going to charge through that door wanting to kill you! Even some of my Mage buddies want your head!"
"I'm a strategist, not a diplomat. I can't fail! Now you have ten seconds before I disintegrate you! Ten!"

Venkman placed his hands in his pockets and sighed
"Nine!"
"You have machines...
"Eight!"
"I have Magic."
"Seven!"
"That's something you couldn't have counted on..."

Vortex aimed his cannons at Venkman. "Six!"

"You know what I wanted to be before I became a Mage?"
"I don't care! Five!"
"A psychiatrist."
"Four!"
"I still became one, and right now...I can tell you're scared."
"Three!"
"You have been from the moment you arrived here."
"Shut the fuck up! A Commander isn't programmed to feel fear! Two!"
I'm not a strategist or a soldier. Never have been." Venkman shrugged

As Vortex opened fire, his shot was sent right through a Twilight Gate and as he scanned the room for Venkman, he was struck from the front by his own cannon shot. Another gate had opened directly in front of his form.
Screaming in pain and rage, Vortex frantically scanned the room.

Dallas had jumped out of the motioning to Minutemen and anyone else behind him, "C'mon ya bastards do you want to live forever!" he yelled in his muffled voice before dashing, the equipment on his belt clattered and clashed against tools, bags, and cans as he dashed across the battlefield with impressive speeds for a normal human with a good bit of gear on. Dallas had pulled a smoke canister off his belt as he dashed, before momentarily pausing to unpin the smoke canister, tossing it past Preston and Rex, the smoke quickly obscured the area and immediately Dallas charged into the screen holstering his shotgun and drawing forth a shovel and a combat dagger, whether it be *shunks* or *cracks*, drones started to drop.

A drone had escaped the screen to try and clear it's optics only for it to get grabbed by Dallas from behind and reeled back in the smokescreen before getting beat down with a shovel, finally getting its head lopped off by the shovel. Finally Dallas had diverted his attention to Rex and Preston after cutting off the Drone's reinforcements to the current part of the battlefield. Dallas had approached them, "Preston, we aren't doing too good on the front, I suggest we pull back to higher ground and build fox holes, they would force their soldiers to attack us in an elevated position meaning they have several factors working against them, and I have also seen their tanks are not equipped with Howitzers or mortars the trajectory of their guns would be impossible to hit our entrenchments. We don't need anything spectacular just something big enough to fit a man or two, and put them in a fair line." Dallas had suggested, he understood this game, the only thing that would be able to attack them from his proposed position were the aviation force of Vortex but those jets were currently being attacked by the Indian fighters, meaning they wouldn't be able to get clear shots off. They would only have cover for so much longer, so it was now or never.

Cortova takes the envelope, watching Venkman for a moment. “Don’t get killed.” She says shortly. Then she turns, and runs back into the cover of the swarm. She hides the envelope in a compartment of her armor, and continues on her attack, waiting for the others to catch up. She can clear this little spot before they get here, and then they can press on. She doesn’t plan on leaving Venkman alone for any longer than she has to.

"Bjornson, if he dies New York is going to get bombed into oblivion. Save him." Magnus said
"Whatever you have to do, do it." Reed said, weakly
"Who did this to you?" Magnus asked
"I didn't get a look at their face, but I saw somebody run deeper into the ship." Reed explained. He stretched his right arm, pointing towards an opened cover into the vent system "SHIELD agent."

Magnus gave Bjornson a reassuring nod and rushed in, jumping through the vents.

D.Va: New York
Transferring power to her MEKA's thrusters, Hana was able to free herself after some effort. She hadn't been one hundred percent convinced that Carnage ate people to begin with, but his words had sent some chills down her spine. That, and she'd heard rumours of the Symbiotes eating people during their attack on New York.
She made a note of questioning the other Spider-Man later, or at least referring him to SHIELD. Parts of his story just didn't add up to her. If he'd been tracking Carnage, how was he completely unaware of the recent crisis? The ceasefire had only been declared less than two hours ago by D.Va's watch. Peter had been held up in the Baxter building and recovering from the symbiotes controlling him but where had the other Spider-man been? And how did he know so much about the other symbiotes on SHIELD's radar?

It would have to wait till later. He was suspicious sure, but at least he was trying to help them with Carnage.
Then there was the other ally, a woman with...Volcano powers?
Hana flew next to her, preparing to cover her in case Carnage targeted Faith
"That's awesome!" Hana shouted "Just try to be careful."

Mark switched to his flare gun and right as Gluttony prepared to take a bite out of one of the Samurai holding him, the blast struck the Homunculus in his opened mouth. Gluttony screeched in pain and continued to lash out, throwing everything into his attacks with a panicked look on his face. With his tongue burnt to a crisp, he was unable to speak.

Findryt looked down at the stone "Dammit." She muttered, gritting her teeth "As much as I'd like to take that sword as my own, I have other places to be. I have my stone, so what are a few souls compared to hundreds, right?"
She smiled over at Ramil before her expression turned serious again, staring the Samurai down "And before you ask, I can't restore those other souls. It's been too long and their bodies simply aren't usable anymore."

She pointed inside of the circle "But these folks. I guess they're the lucky ones."
She raised the stone into the air "Now, this might take a minute so I'll call off my dog. I've grown rather fond of Gluttony and would just hate to see him go out like this when we've already agreed to terms...So call off your dogs too. Only fair."

Minity: Skyrim
As the guards tried to run after Ulfi, Sigmund raised a hand
"Let her run." He said, softly "Give her a head start, and then make sure she's followed from a distance. I want to see where she goes and if she reaches out to anyone."
The guards nodded "What about the shop?" One asked
"Loot it, sell it, burn it down for all I care." He threw his arms into the air as he walked away.
-
After a few moments of silence, Minity slowly rose from her chair.
"I am sorry for your losses." She said, solemnly "And I take your warning to heart.
"The other Companions are across Skyrim." Torvar explained "Trying to pick up the pieces after Vortex's attack. I could send a few letters out and if we wait a day you'll have every Shield-Brother and sister behind you, Harbinger."
"Just gather Alea and two of the others. Tell them to return to Whiterun to reinforce it's defences."

Torvar gave Minity a puzzled look
"Sigmund cannot suspect us. If he knows we're fighting dirty, he will only up his game."
"Alea and Vilkas were near Riverwood, last I heard." Torvar nodded "Sending a courier shouldn't take too long. Hell, I'd go myself if I wasn't..."

Caesar opened his mouth to protest against leaving the safety of the Indian Empire. However he considered the fact it would probably be just as safe as the current lab and if anything happened he would probably be fine given his Devil Fruit. "As you wish Lord Gandhi." He said
"I'll only take a moment." The mad scientist dissipated into thin air. Reappearing by some of his chemicals he'd already been mixing. He'd bring them with him along with the marini bottle he'd had. Despite his hard work he'd barely had time to celebrate "I need a break, I've already done so much. Working to be the greatest scientist in the world is hard work. Perhaps I should ask for a raise or something nice." He mused to himself as he gathered his belongings.
Having gotten what he needed Caesar looked for the plane outside, not really knowing what it was but it was probably the machine with wings on nearby. He got his things set and boarded.

Anderson listened as Deadpool rambled on and disappeared to the location Lex had told them to go. How exactly he knew where to go was beyond his understanding but Anderson could track down the scent of a Protestant heathen from miles away. His bible would know where to go "You'll get yer fancy loot and ah'll get the holy satisfaction of killing some protestant scum." The priest smiled wide and pulled out his bible "Ah won't take long" The pages of the book began to flutter as Anderson laughed. The priest disappeared in a cloud of pages, leaving one behind.
The Irish man reappeared in the storage room, a little ways away from Deadpool "The lord has lead me here to slay some protestant scum. Come forth now and receive his wrath swiftly." Anderson pulled out his Bayonets.
Only then noticing the carnage around him "What in the protestant blood soaked hell is this? Ah came 'ere to do the lord's work and all that's left are scraps?!" Anderson pointed at the remaining thugs and gritted his teeth in anger.

"Very well." Doom scoffed "But know this, Jedi. Doom will be watching you.
At least a dozen Doombots turned their heads towards Lamaosowl, glaring into his soul.
"And the moment you pose a threat to this nation, you will face the same fate as the Sith Invaders. Doom will show no mercy."
Victor paused for a moment and clenched his fists.
"I have other business to attend to, but don't think for a moment that Doom isn't watching."

He turned around and took off, making his way back towards the palace. Leia was waiting, currently waiting on an incoming call. In large, white, holographic letters were the words:
Incoming Call: Council of Gladius-2

The Council chambers were adorned with symbols of each member nation, each one confined to a place around a large, marble table. On the walls were stain glass windows picturing various battles against large, and looming shadows. They towered above the armies of Westeros as three dragons flew into the fray of battle in one piece of art while in another a swarm of Doombots fought back against an even larger swarm of creatures, with civilians fleeing away from the battle. In the same art piece thousands of ships battled an approaching swarm in deep space while an army of Jedi and soldiers fought on the ground of Yavin 4.

Each stain glassed window piece depicted another battle or exodus away from the creatures by each nation. Most, if not all of them tried to look like triumphant last stands.

Holograms of Leia and Victor appeared, sitting in two chairs underneath the symbols and artwork of their country.

The plane was a slightly smaller version of the merc jet, although it's interior was far more luxurious. Equipped with an entertainment centre, a bathroom more akin to a five star hotel and even a walk-in bar. There was a note on the bar counter.

Kiara-Latverivin
Kiara sighs, looking around the room she’s in. She deactivates her armor first, and it folds up into its place on her neck. She wipes the blood from her ankle after that, feeling her speed and agility return to their base state. She sits down, leaning back against the wall. Even if she didn’t get to fight much, this was a bit of insight into this place that may prove valuable.

The Jedi are obviously quite powerful with their telekinesis. She saw hints of other abilities, but that was the most noticeable one. And those robots were quite interesting as well. Even the greatest children of Hephaestus couldn’t pull off what they did. The one controlling them has to be quite dangerous. She wonders how they’ll react when she’s discovered.

For now, though, it’s better for her to hide, and rest. And hope that those Jedi don’t know how to track her aura. Or better yet, that they didn’t notice her at all.

She looks up, eyes wide as the family comes inside, immediately tense. “Oh, I’m fine.” She says, looking down at her hand. “Just a scratch is all.” She is very glad she’s used to talking to the creatures of her old master, or she’d be staring at these strange people.

“Really Sorry for barging in, I kind of panicked when the attack started, and just went and ran for it.” She says, rubbing the back of her neck in her best confused civilian impression. She’s gotten pretty damn good at it, with the amount of things she’s had to explain away.

The Commander
This is a mission that XCOM cannot afford to lose. I have entered the battlefield myself.
Hmph. It seems that the reports were true. I can see a rather ragtag XCOM fighting Vortex-and they haven't turned on us. Worth speaking to when this battle is over.
Wasting no time, I psionically analyze the battlefield. Juggernaut 1 is absorbing a rather large amount of fire, and despite the fact that XCOM HWP's are designed to absorb lots of fire, they can be destroyed. I order Juggernaut 1 to take cover behind some rocks while Juggernaut 2 rolls in and starts blasting at drones.
I check my forces. Pixels is marking targets with extreme speed, letting our sniper take them down. I order Pixels to mark heavier targets, which the drone does.
Our medic is off to the other XCOM's sniper. He pulls out a medkit and starts healing the sniper-I can hear him saying the sniper should be fine. Our Laser soldier is slowly advancing, firing his heavy laser at heavier Vortex units, our grenadier is following while tossing grenades at bunches of Vortex units.
I am currently following the Laser soldier, taking cover behind a rock. I toss an alien grenade at Vortex units, and start firing my laser rifle.

Ramil & Piccolo
Ramil glared at Findryt, before looking at Fate's souless body. He sighed and put the shotgun back on his back. He reached down and scooped Fate's body into his arms. He got up and walked forward, and stopped right in front of Findryt.

"If you even think, of breaking your word... I don't care where you go... And I don't care who you have that will stand in my way." He got right in Findryt's face and his eyes flashed to green again. And this time Findryt probably took notice.

"I will find you... And I will BREAK you..." He whispered to her in a cold dark tone. And for a brief second It would look as if there was a giant red dragon behind Ramil. But only Findryt would see it. He then backed off and walked past her Carrying Fate's body bridal style.

Meanwhile Piccolo had regenerated his arm and was about to attack Gluttony from behind when he felt a large Dangerous Ki.

'WHOA WHAT THE HELL?!' He thought turning to the police station. He watched as Ramil stepped out of the station carrying Fate's lifeless body. His Ki felt powerful now. Goku powerful.

"So anyone else wondering why a HUMAN suddenly feels as powerful as that Idiotic Saiyan?" Nail asked.
"His Ki was definitely not this powerful before... And it feels more like a...." Kami trailed off.
'Like a what?' Piccolo asked in hesitation, not sure if he was gonna like the answer.
"A dragon... A very powerful Dragon... Not as powerful as Shenron... But still very powerful..." Kami said in a grim tone.

With Findryt's order for the Homunculus to pull back, Gluttony started to move away from the Samurai and Mark. When Mark attempted to give chase, a soldier grabbed him by the arm.
"He's going to..."
"Let him go. That woman made a deal. We let her and Gluttony walk, she'll restore as many souls as she can."

Mark clenched his fists and was about to storm inside when his eyes caught Ramil.
"What happened to her?"
"The cost of making a Philosopher's stone is multiple, human souls." The soldier explained, grimly "But if the kid's carrying her out it must mean that the ritual's already completed." He gave Mark a light smile "She'll be fine. I mean, I was almost part of a Philosopher's stone once and I turned out alright."

Mark glared at the soldier in horror
"To be fair, almost all of Amestris was."

Mark nodded and walked inside. Findryt had her back to the circle, with her eyes gazing into the red stone.
"It's done, then?" He asked, hate in his eyes
"Done?"
"Ramil carried Fate's body out." Mark said "That means her soul's back, right?"

Her eyes widened in horror, turning away from the stone and glaring at the circle "Shit! I-I...I was still preparing! How did I miss something like that!?"
"It's okay, I'll run out, grab her and put her back." Mark reassured "You can start the ritual then..."

Mark knew that Findryt was a murderer, and if circumstances were any different he'd be trying to fight her. But right now, five human lives rested in her hands and Mark knew he had to keep her calm.

"Right?"
Findryt looked up at Mark, horror still in her eyes "Once you start a ritual like this, any interruption or breaking of the circle, especially an interruption like that is going to fuck the whole thing!"

Red lightning briefly shot out of the remaining bodies before quickly dissipating into black smoke. Findryt took a step back, resting her hands on the table.
"Fuck!" She yelled, throwing a book across the room "Stupid fucking kid!"

Mark reached for one of his pistols, the weapon behind his back while he calmly approached the High-Elf.
"It's okay, we'll just try again."
"Mark, I can't just try again." Findryt snapped "I'm messing around with some screwed up Alchemy as it is. If I push again, the result would be catastrophic! Those souls are..."

The bodies within the circle started to quickly decay, turning into dust before the group's very eyes while outside of the station and away from the circle, Fate's body would slowly start to turn to dust in Ramil's arms.

"Trapped. In here. Forever." Findryt raised up the stone

As soldiers pointed their rifles at Findryt, Mark drew a gun of his own and aimed it directly at her forehead
"Don't put this on me!" Findryt yelled "I'm not the one who broke the circle!"
"You could have warned us!"
"Hey, the rest of you sat back and let me perform this! And I thought the kid would know better... He knows the Fullmetal Alchemist! Said so himself when the got out of that cell."

Mark's hand shook violently, a look of rage and hatred in his eyes. His hesitation was a mistake as Findryt smiled, licked her lips and kicked Mark in the chest, sending him flying out of the police station. Even for a woman of her skill, there was more of a push behind the kick.
"Oh shit!" Mark cried "She's..."

Red lighting flowed through Findryt's veins as she clenched the stone even tighter. She chuckled as she scanned the room
"I'd like to stay and kill you all... Some for threatening me." She locked eyes with the Samurai and Mark "Others for their sheer stupidity." She locked eyes with Ramil "Hey, don't be angry at me..." She gave an over-the-top shrug

She swayed her arms slightly and the entire police station shook at first, before the shaking continued to the entire block of the city.
"You're the one who broke the circle. So, that girl's death is on your hands. Not mine. I was going to bring her back to you so that in seven or eight years you might have something going but..."
She shook her head sarcastically "No, I think it's best if you live with it. Killing you just wouldn't be satisfying."

The ground continued to shake as walls of the police station reformed into fists, pushing everybody outside. These fists turned into metal walls that Mark immediately ran at, only to be batted aside by a fist. He was thrown through the window of a nearby building.

The walls of the building started to close in on Mark while the floor formed into spiked objects he only managed to dodge by mere inches. On the streets below, more chunks of the police station started to launch towards the group. Findryt could only laugh as she unleashed her abilities, only to sigh heavily.
"As I said, while I'd like to stay and kill you all, I do have to deliver this stone somewhere."

The remaining chunks of the police station were launched, creating a barrier in front of the group that started to close in like a trash compactor. Findryt waved and started to walk away, giving the group a friendly wave.

Gluttony ran to her side and the High-Elf woman jumped onto his back before the monster started to run out of the city, Findryt waving as the two made their getaway across the rooftops of Rush Valley
In front of the barrier, another image of Findryt appeared. She had her arms folded and a stern look on her face.
"Don't worry, that thing won't kill you. It was only meant to slow you down." She reassured "I couldn't have stayed to fight all of you, that would risk using up too much of the stone. And I need it. It's the whole reason I came to this country. The whole reason I instigated a war between Xing and India and for everything you've seen here today."

Senshi, Shimazu, and Take: Rush Valley
(Play Cheeki, Get Breeki)

Shimazu could only be angry, he was lied to, betrayed, he knew he shouldn't have trusted her. Shimazu cursed to the sky in his native tongue, as Senshi and Tale had come the both sat on their knees as they watched Shimazu's hate glow off him life the embers of a fire. When a soldier had come to try and calm Shimazu down, Shimazu had flipped the soldier over his shoulder sending him flying and landing hard on his back. "YOU INGRATEFUL! UNHONORABLE CUR! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, I WILL HANG AND SKIN YOU UPSIDE DOWN!" Shimazu could not believe how dirty he just got played. He dropped to his knees, dropping his mask and revealing his middle aged face, with slit eyes and a greying 5'0 clock shadow.

His eyes were twitching before he rested his head on the ground, not willing to move anymore, the voices of his ancestors shamed him, calling him idiotic and pathetic. All those years of war for nothing, all the battles fought for what? all the victories he shared with his comrades for not. He soon took his helmet off revealing his top knot and short greying black hair. Shimazu hid his face in shame, a tear had nearly come to his eyes, how could he be a warrior, a leader, if he could not even protect a child? Shimazu raised himself up a stern face replacing his emotion driven one. He looked to the Findyrt hologram, "Whatever it takes."

Shimazu stood up before donning his helmet and mask once more, his anger could be felt like an intensity burning, many could feel it. Senshi and Take remained in place, not daring to disturb the Kensei's rage. Finally Shimazu began taking deep breaths, he shook his head. Shimazu immediately turned and began to take off after the lying whore and the fat creature. Senshi and Take looked to each other before getting up and running after Shimazu only to stop him, "Im sure if they have come this far for that, then it would surely be a trap," Senshi explained to Shimazu. "There is nothing they could do that I haven't seen," Shimazu had replied. Take stepped up before stating, "But you must remember this is not our timeline, there have been new strategies developed," Take Implored. Shimazu looked to Take before looking towards Ramil and the finally faded little girl, "Take, Senshi, do you not understand it is by my obligation that I am a defender, a leader and a fighter. If i am incompetent in my defense how am I to defend a mere child? Im better off killing the child then letting them suffer such a fate, and even then no child deserves to die." Senshi quickly retorted, "But you are a swordmaster, everything happened too fast, this mistress of vileness she cannot compare to your fighting, you know this! And she knew it too!" Shimazu stood there looking down and gripping his hilt tightly. "I am angered like you, her wretchedness and lies, she will pay for it all in time, but for now we must recollect our strength and be ready for whatever magic she unleashes, or at least she will try to unleash."

Shimazu sighed heavily, this was a dishonorable defeat. But he would strike back with a decisive victory, he knew it. "Fine, she will live for now, even if I had to fight the two of them, I will slit her throat and break the stone, leave the fat creature to wallow in it's misery, like they did us but no she does not even deserve that fate, I'm going to make her beg for death." Shimazu stated as the Samurai began to rendezvous and plan.
