In case it's unclear, you've been accepted. Post at your leisureWickedkent said:Oil and gas for their backup generators, vehicles, and temperature control for the base.
I was just in a conversation asking someone else questions, and got you two confused. Sorry about that.Albion said:I already posted. Havent been active much b/c my family and I keep going out on our new boat all day.
Unless your CDC makes profit off of war I don't think you canPat said:Welp, time to edit my faction to be crazily big and powerful like Umbrella Corp here.

WIP
Name and whether or not they officially call themselves that
The High Church of St. Micheal
(Officially)
How/When formed
It is assumed that they started a year into the apocalypse, but hard to figure out since there is only one person who had come from them, and spoken of the elusive faction. It is also thought they were formed from a largely Catholic church that saw the Key West base as a utopia, full of Arks to survive the Rapture.
How survived this long/How currently functions (including safety, waste removal, getting food, etc)
Group abilities/General Resources
Group structure
There is a "Tree" of priests, it is highly impossible to be inducted into them, as most of them are co-founders and founders, who don't take newcomers lightly.
Group attitude towards meeting others
Very Hostile, although will not openly attack another faction.
Location (doesn't need to be exact - giving something like a state would be enough)
Naval Air Station Key West, is the maintained "Capital". But they are said to have small communities on the mainland, in specifically Southeast Texas.
List of characters (key characters if it's a large group), with age, brief summary of personality, abilities, what they did pre-apocalypse, and what their part is in the group (and notable facts if you wish)
They have at least a few hundred people living in the capital, it is unknown how many live in the communities.
Father Cameron
Age
Unknown
Personality
Father Cameron is manipulative and uses a false welcoming tone to direct his followers.
Abilities
Persuasive, and of course not to be trusted with that.
Pre-apocalypse
Father Cameron was a Catholic priest in Miami, with a radical view on sinners.
Part of the Group
The Highest Priest in the group, Basically the Unofficial Pope.
Father Tuck
Age
Unknown
Personality
Thank you for filling out the 'group structure part' (for some reason, everyone's ignoring that) but could you please fill in how they survived, and their general abilities and resources? Even if it isn't known to outsiders.
Your group seems interesting, and once you fill those in, I'll be happy to accept.

The Traders of Ghale
How/When formed:
June 24th, 2018. Formed when Dorian Hesketh, the leader of the Sanctuary of Ghale, a monastery-turned-fortress, formed a coalition with the people of the town of Halifax, which was nearby, and the town of Marshfield, which was also nearby. The three towns are now in a coalition of traders, simply now called the Traders of Ghale, centering around the Sanctuary.
How survived this long/How currently functions (including safety, waste removal, getting food, etc):
The group scavenged extensively in the nearby city of Springfield, and also performed a large amount of conquest in the early months. Though after that, they have been extremely peaceful, making alliance with other nearby fortresses.
Group abilities/General Resources:
They are wonderful diplomats and traders, getting things from people. Far away people. They're like the Carthaginians, their trade routes the Silk Road. They have immense respect through the nearby communities, and a good amount of power from trading.
Group structure:
They have a Supreme Council, whom convene every morning and every night to discuss things, and they make decisions for the Coalition. Dorian Hesketh is considered the leader of this group, but has no other title than leader.
Group attitude towards meeting others:
They will normally try to ally with them, and trade with them, however are cautious and will usually show some kind of power every once and while in order to keep them in check.
Location (doesn't need to be exact - giving something like a state would be enough):
A group of suburban towns in Massachusetts.
List of characters (key characters if it's a large group), with age, brief summary of personality, abilities, what they did pre-apocalypse, and what their part is in the group (and notable facts if you wish):
Dorian Hesketh - Dorian is a very wise but can be a brutish man. He is manipulative, and despite being known as a kind, and gentle man to the public, he is about survival. He has little to no morals. His way of survival is just staying out of the way, and trading. He only goes to war if he must. He was a construction worker before all of this.
(LET ME KNOW IF MORE IS NEEDED.)
I think you're still a pretty close second for military. And I'm going to ask WMR to cut theirs back a bit, or at least add some flaws.Wickedkent said:@Bwahaha can i edit my cs to add more military assets? since someone has like umbrella corps military
yeah since im adding it would take huge amounts of oil, food, gas, water, etc.Bwahaha said:I think you're still a pretty close second for military. And I'm going to ask WMR to cut theirs back a bit, or at least add some flaws.
If you really want to expand your military, you can. But you'll need to add in some flaws, like bad organization, disobedience, difficulty finding food, etc. Or other things - just make it important to the story.
Also, if you're going back, could you fill in the 'group structure,' part? Most people didn't, so I let it slide, but if you're editing it anyway, I'd like you to do that.
Okay. But you need to make that struggle a very clear and present part of the story.Wickedkent said:yeah since im adding it would take huge amounts of oil, food, gas, water, etc.
changed it.. added a couple of things, just pm me if you want something edited.Bwahaha said:Okay. But you need to make that struggle a very clear and present part of the story.
Thst they don't have communications with the HQ In Europe and that the algae like substance for oil takes time to make so they have to be careful on how many vehicles they use. And they are hostile to most people they meet.Bwahaha said:This group seems a little bit too perfect. What are their flaws?
It's a company that's made profit off of war. They built these facilities in case of a nuclear war. Also they don't have everything in one place there are smaller facilities spread across the U.S and equipment and such are distributed and such. Food is sustainable with the installed mini farms in the facilities. As long as there population is controlled they can eat with no worries as long as they are careful. They are very strict on everything also power I just stated with solar panels but if there isn't much light them they use up there algae oil but that means less mileage for the vehicles if needed to be sent out.Bwahaha said:They're still near-invicible. Isn't it difficult to keep a military that large organized? Are there any worried about food running out? What about power outages?
