Have you ever wanted to live in a fantasy city? Something grandiose , shining walls of brilliant knights flying off in their negative drakes as the sun rises into the world for a glorious conquest? Great rich and powerful kings ruling over a golden city of happiness and righteousness standing against the evils of the world?


well, that's not where you're going.





No, imagine the dark scum of that other city, cast out and gathered with a first blood that matches only the darkness of the night. Imagine the perils of this and Thives and murderers, each terror haunting yo more than the last until you yourself are driven mad by sin and dread...


that is ALSO not where we're going 





meet Jizzytown , the perfect place for idiots, by idiots! All the failures that simply can't match the proper atmosphere somewhere else are sent here to live their lives in what everyone else thinks is joyful bliss...


But when the most cliche dragon steals the most cliche princess on the list cliche way possible (something now taken almost as a sport) , these so-called "idiots" and "losers" (and the occasional lunatic saying they come from "another world") are ready to join the race to the save the princess in their own quest to prove their worth and that of their new home.

More of this concept. So far, I've got nothing but "random scrubs people taking on a cliche quest". I'd like to know more like the setting, a short outline of the plot, or something that'll hook me in completely.

Sorry about the delay.


The setting is still being formed, in specific the magic system. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have and will surely ponder any suggestions that I am given.


as for plot, my basic idea is that they (our characters) heard of the annual kidnapping of the princess in the city and decided to participate in the dragon chase this year. They will gather as a group of various small ones and set out of the city where they will be faced with rival teams and a stream of other trope situations given their own twists. Other subplots will be developed according to the events and characters that we get.

anyone who is stupid , incompetent , generally incapable, has some deep flaw or quirk that makes them useless , etc...


to give some examples from myself and from the show I'm halfway taking inspiration from:


*a knight who is tanks too much over being a full blown masochist


* a mage that refuses to use any spell but their coolest one, which can only be used once and dries them of mana and energy. 


*a cowardly healer who gets distracted way too easily. 


My character (or so I'm planning) is a druid type of character who is too young to control their powers properly. 


Then you can have people who are actual idiots, or people who are stupidly overconfident when they don't actually have much to show, etc...


lastly, your character could actually be smart and competent albeit somewhat powerless by being one of the people banned there as insane for saying they are "from another world" (whether this would be true or not is up to you).
