You are one of few creatures in an isolated lab in the mountains of Russia.
Alternatively, You are a staff member in this lab, tasked with learning all there is to know about these creatures. To test them, and find their potential.
They are each classified by their possible risk factor, and thus are separated by the caution required to approach them.
Safe creatures have a much easier life, as there’s significantly less security, and they don’t need to be constantly watched. Researchers will come into direct contact with safe creatures, and even spend time with safe creatures. Safe creatures and threat level creatures share the same comforts, such as proper bedding, entertainment, and enrichment. Safe creatures are typically the most intriguing creatures, as they will most likely have the most vibrant personalities.
Threat level creatures are treated more carefully. they are fairly well guarded, but the same comforts as safe creatures remain. researchers only come into contact if there is a layer of safety glass between them and the creature. The head of research allows a handful of "threats", as they are what the facility wants to research most. These creatures are a solid mix between safe and dangerous, allowing the researchers to see their uses in either society, or even for military use.
Dangerous creatures require extreme caution when approached. They have the highest security levels, and researchers make contact with them from behind a large one way observation glass. Dangerous creatures spend most of their time in isolation, due to their tendency to not play well with others. The head of research will only allow so many dangerous creatures into the facility due to their threat levels, and for the event of a breach, to only have a few to deal with.

The researchers are the brave, ever so curious staff of the facility. They are from around the world, all investing time into learning what these creatures are, and seeing if they have a use in society, or if they should be terminated, due to the creature's abnormally dangerous properties. The jobs of the security is to ensure the safety of the researchers, and to ensure that no creature is to be where they aren't allowed, and to properly deal with any creature that will not comply.
