Kyuubey Kyuubey

Rin noticed he wasn't saying anything, which prompted her to turn toward his direction to see him. Why was he so quiet? Did she actually leave him speechless? Did she...Accidentally say something that hit a nerve? Her mind was starting to race with all the possibilities, but they suddenly stopped as she felt his hand upon her shoulder. This touch was so soft, so delicate, and it was very unnatural of Elias. It made her wonder what was going on in that blonde head of his. Though, that wonder began to clear up as he began to open up to her, causing her stomach to flutter. The weapon then began to give him her full attention as he spoke, letting every word sink in and soak up like a sponge. There was no room for her to speak -not that she wanted to- but she was fine with that, it was almost never that she got to see him relax this way, or even open this much toward her. I could tell he was always mad...but I never knew what for... he wanted to be just like his sister, but in the end felt taunted by life. He longed for something that he had no chance of ever obtaining, which could always hurt a person on the inside.

His other hand had grasped her other shoulder, before he finally looked directly at her, causing her cheeks to redden even more and increase the pounding of her heart with those widened eyes. His words seemed to hit her like a truck and the only thing that could come out of her mouth was a surprised "Huh?" this caused her to make her mentally facepalm REALLY? "HUH?" YOU COULDN'T HAVE SAID SOMETHING ELSE? but according to him, she allowed him to see her soul, as if she gave him the ability to use soul perception. Before she knew it, his warm hands had cupped her face, the heat from his hands and her face making it a bit hotter but she felt comfort out of his touch. Elias's tone was so soft, so open, and his smile was a rarity that she tried to treasure in the moments that it lived. He doesn't realize how beautiful he looks with that smile... she thought, only for that smile to go into his childish grin again. Despite not telling him everything that had happened to her, he saw it without needing to be told, or needing to be asked. We understand each other more than we think. It's scary in its own way.

When he apologized for staring or looking weird, she made a small noise to indicate that it was none of those, and her gaze started to slowly soften. The fact that she was able to give something to someone without even trying made her feel like that just maybe it was something she was born with. Despite being this way for a lot of her life, she had a gift that she didn't show unless she needed to...With or without her knowledge. Fingers brushed her skin as strands of hair were moved from her face and she spoke softly "You don't need to apologize for staring or looking weird, Elias." she gave him a soft smile that she rarely let out, but it was definitely one of her more genuine ones "The fact that someone like me was able to give you something you've longed for, for a long time, it says a lot..." after that, silence followed and the only thing that seemed to be prominent was the sound of those waves from the ocean. It was a rare moment they shared and soon she was no longer being held by Elias, in fact, he got down in front of her in the sand, only to say something that made her eyes widen once again in surprise.

Do you mind playing again for me? he said, followed by an expression that made her almost shiver. Never was he one to give her a puppy-like look, especially one that looked like that pleaded for more. For him... at the thought, her cheeks went red once again as she gazed down toward him. At first, she felt the need to go on and yell at him as she always did when she was embarrassed, but instead she managed to hold back and speak "Always for you, Elias..." her tone was softer than usual and she backed up a little bit so she didn't accidentally walk into him, or twirl and hit him. She lifted her violin up to her chin and slowly guided her bow to the violin. There was a pause, as if she was going through her mental music library. Then the music started, this one was a little more different than the rest, but after experiencing what she had with Elias, he needed something to invoke that spirit inside him, give him the energy, the muse. There was a need she wanted to fulfill and she was going to do it. I will play this for you, Elias. if her soul was shown whenever she played in front of him, then no doubt in her mind he would see the light, the fire that
engulfed her whole being.

Nicholai
interaction: Jackaboi Jackaboi
"oh hectic not doing justice then?" Nicholai tilted his head to the side with curiosity wondering more as to what had been happening over the yeah. leaning his face onto one of his palms as Camillia took up the Russian offer to take a seat and chat. he was very much happy to listen to Camilla explain everything at least giving an overview of the events that had transpired over the course of the prior months. starting off with the first-day obstacle course and how one of the students by the name of Elias, blew up the dark maze that was part of the course Nicholai chuckled along with Camilla. "oh remember own course back in Russian similar sounding, much more snow, and no exploding maze" Nicho would reply with a grin, "obviously very spooky yes?" hed add on the grin fading when Camilla mentioned the fact that the class had been kidnapped? Nicholai wanted to ask a little more but seeing as how Camilla was staring off into the distance.. it was obvious that whatever events transpired.. well it was incredibly painful for everyone involved. "oh no need to talk more about it.. sometimes.. things best left in back of head" Nicho would reply softly his tone being a caring one giving Camilla a little pat on the shoulder, agreeing wholeheartedly with what she had said about not talking about depressing stuff, and then she went ahead and asked him about why he'd moved. Nicholai couldn't help but laugh heartily at the irony of the question the red-haired woman was asking. "funny story, before moving here, last weapon partner.. err tried to kill me long with most of class.. err issues..." Nicholia face went somewhat red as it was a little awkward and Nicho was omitting a lot of details. "so mother decided best we move country due to issues, though not actually my mother, since actual parents aren't err alive" Nicholai added since he had issues before where people had noticed the lack of similarities between himself and his carer, as it had previously made people become suspect over certain things so honest was better. "oh and so far much nicer here more accepting.. so far, sure your family must be just as nice as you yes?" Nicho added with a grin, his tone was purely that of a complement.

Akron sighed internally as he saw the ball fly out of the court due to his own overkill, turns out it was hard to judge impacts when you couldn’t exactly feel the force behind it, Akron used to just putting as much power possible into hits. A jolted flinching reaction proceeded jazmine explain that he’d Indeed overdone it with his own serve. he‘d not make any comment or react as she then lunched the ball at gabriel. His teammate just barely being able to stop the ball the Brit slamming into the sand but managing to stop the ball form striking the ground call for Akron to get the ball with jolted movements the huge males raven black hair trailed behind him like a cape almost. Striking the ball so it bounced up into the air using his other arm to slam it down into the girls court in one fluid movement hopefully scoring a point with his rapid response to Gabriel saving them form being two points behind.

Grace Amadeus Fugue
Paradise Island
Interacting with: Elias ( Kyuubey Kyuubey ), Rin ( Kyuubey Kyuubey ).

Grace yawned. Loudly.

She tilted her head over to the window, glaring with lidded eyes out at the sunlight, before glancing to the bedside clock on the side. Her eyes widened slightly as she took in the time.

"Erngh. Shit."

She pulled herself up sharply and nearly tumbled out of bed, foot catching on some of her sheets on the way up. She had barely spent all that much time on the island, and it was already starting to get to her. She was losing track of the time and the days, and she hadn't even felt as if she'd done anything. Vacations were dangerous. Haphazardly, she threw on a too-big t-shirt, and traded her sleeping drawers for khaki shorts, looking every part the unintentional beach bum as she pulled her sunglasses off of her bedside table and shoved them into her hair.

Not a soul was present in the girls' cabin's plaza when she shoved her way outside, grumbling mildly to herself. All she could hope was that she wasn't late for anything important--that meaning anything that she was going to be getting a grade for. At this point, she had no idea what was what when it came to that.

Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she hefted up her guitar case, taking the long way up the beach rather than cutting straight through to the island's center. At that point, if she was late to something, she was late to something; might as well drag it out a little longer and avoid the walk of shame by rounding a corner instead of walking straight up the middle. "Should've brought a parasol," she muttered to herself, flip-flops clapping against her heels as she marched through the sand up the empty beach. Still half out of it, it wasn't until she heard the sound of some nearby soloist that she seemed to finally snap to her senses, narrowing her eyes as her footsteps almost reflexively adjusted to cross her path with that of the music.

Spotting two students on their own, she hung back for a bit, flicking her shades down over her eyes to get a better look through the glare. Her size and lack of presence in general made it easy for her to approach, though if the other students objected to her initial presence, she didn't seem to show too many signs of caring. Instead, she watched the motions of Rin's hands, setting her guitar case down in the sand before reaching for her ever-present box of pasta sticks. "...Not bad," she said quietly, just soft enough to avoid interrupting the performance, before sticking one of the rods in her mouth.

Rue vs Lew

image6.jpg

Rue had been humming a soft song, a lullaby that held no importance to anyone but herself, as she passed the time she was allocating to the male’s decision. She was pleased that he was pondering for some time on it. That only meant that he was taking it into serious consideration and not merely brushing her request aside as if it held little merit. A change in his demeanor caused her attention to shift solely on him once more, the soft sound she’d been filling the air with fading out. As he spoke his terms she watched his hand touch his chest, the scar he spoke of and touched only acting to intrigue her. That curiosity nestled its way into the front of her mind and she nodded rather curtly, accepting his side without hesitation. Though, it would come with another request which she wasn’t sure he’d agree to but it wouldn’t hurt to ask. “ I shall accept your condition but one day I’d like to hear the story behind your wound. I’m guilty of loving to hear stories aloud and not reading them in a book. “ She sighed then in pure contentment as a flow of dear memories flashed before her eyes but they were carefully tucked away somewhere safe.

Now that the terms are crystal clear, let’s give it our best. “ Rue called out, already having moved further away from Llewellyn which may have seemed strange. The purpose was for her to touch his scar with her hand and here she was creating as much distance between them as possible. “ Let’s test your sense of sight, as well as your ability to feel shifts around you. Another important skill in a fight. “ Those eyes swirled about, the colors of them desiring to mix, as she landed a pirouette, that glacial blue hair dancing about with each precise and skilled movement her body did. It took a while to make sense of the words she just spoke but soon a dense fog started to fill the air, unable to escape from the dome she had masterfully created. All it could do was linger, causing their breathing to be a bit heavier and their eyesight to be hindered gravely. It wasn’t anything like inhaling the crisp air that was there moments beforehand.

The sounds that accompanied her movements were eerily quiet, much akin to the way one trained when following the path of a ninja, except she was proficient at it on ice. To anyone whose observation skills were much higher than normal, they’d notice it seemed like the ice itself was alive and acting to dampen the noises. Almost as if the element and her were one entity instead of two, an extension of her soul. Soon she found herself glissading to appear directly beside the male, fingers reaching out to comb their way through his surprisingly soft blonde locks as she missed her intended target. As they made their way through the ends, she began to attempt to disappear once more into the thick mist, lightly tossing the strands into the air.

Cobalt blue eyes closed upon hearing Princess Sivogn’s request. Llewellyn forced his face to remain neutral, rather than allow it to form the scowl that would have surely appeared upon remembering the Underground Facility. He could still smell the scent of copper, see the flashes of red spraying against the walls, feel the painful molten sensation blossoming from the scar tissue on his chest. The long haired male forced down his feelings of disgust and licked his lips to rid them of the sudden dryness he had felt upon them. Cobalt blue eyes opened once more, lacking their earlier twinkle and seeming duller by comparison. “ Perhaps. ” He said, in a neutral tone in response to Princess Sivogn’s request.

The long haired male said nothing as he watched Princess Sivogn place more distance between the two of them. Llewellyn continued to maintain his silence when the blue haired woman spoke once more, her words sparking the smallest flicker of curiosity in him as he closely eyed her movements. The young man was considering moving from his position after more than a second had passed, but then he noticed something. It was becoming increasingly difficult to see past the ice dome they were trapped within. Cobalt orbs glanced about, noticing the air itself taking on a wispy, translucent texture that was growing more and more opaque with every passing moment. Fog. Llewellyn realized. But, this is not normal fog. The air is thick, cloying. It is almost as if I were inhaling smoke. It was unlikely that the fog was smoke, yet the altered air was hindering his breathing, if only slightly. “ Her highness has many surprises. ” The young man silently mused to himself.

Llewellyn patiently listened and waited as the fog fully settled across the icy arena, straining his senses to detect the blue haired woman that would have to approach him. He was slightly disappointed when he detected no indication of Princess Sivogn. Is she remaining in her previous position? Llewellyn shivered again, beginning to feel the combined effects of the icy area and the remaining frost clinging to his right arm from his opponent’s earlier action. He shuffled slightly in place as he swept his eyes left, then right once more. The blonde was about to take a small step forward in case Princess Sivogn decided to wait for him to go to her, when something took hold of his hair. Llewellyn had to suppress his impulse to whirl about, knowing full well that doing so would only hurt him by yanking his own golden strands himself in his haste. Still, the sensation was foreign and unwelcome to Llewellyn. He never allowed anyone to touch his hair without permission, not even Alice.

I have to catch the Princess as she leaves. Llewellyn thought to himself as he forced his body to remain still. His muscles were coiled and tense as he waited for the proper moment to strike, not unlike a serpent. It would not be easy or likely for Llewellyn to catch his much more agile opponent as they obviously played about him. The long haired male assumed the Princess was testing his discipline.

When he felt the unwelcome hand come to the end of his locks, Llewellyn pounced. The young man pushed off of the ice towards Princess Sivogn. His action was a tad slower than Llewellyn would have preferred due to the slippery ice beneath his feet. Still, the long haired male got within arm’s reach of his opponent, close enough to shoot his hand out in an attempt to grasp her. It did not matter if it was her arm, leg, neck or hair, so long as he grabbed something. Though, naturally Llewellyn would relinquish some of his grip’s pressure if he happened to grab a vital area.

--------------------------------------------

In a matter of mere seconds, Rue went from thinking she was in the clear to feeling a firm hand touch her wrist, the fingers curling about it seeming to be a desperate grasp. It was a hold nonetheless and much too close to where she’d stated Llewellyn had to target if he were to win. The abrupt nature of the action made her come to a skidding stop, eyes curiously peering to make out the silhouette of her captor to the best of their capability through the obscured environment they both remained within. Rue couldn’t remember a single time in her life where she’d been so hastily grabbed by another person. Maybe that was a luxury she had been granted due to her title, she wasn’t entirely sure. Other than J, nobody had ever laid hands on her. This was different. With her partner, it was like two flowing currents that somehow melded into one. One mind, one soul, one body. Llewellyn’s clutch upon her now? Foreign. Her breath hitched in the cold air, something she was extremely acclimated to, as she all but fought the desire to become as frigid as the ice around them.

And then soundlessly, Rue was gone. The man would find his grip considerably eased up, probably instinctively closing itself. Instead of emptiness he’d find himself holding a cloth-like material that was indescribably smooth. He wouldn’t have much time to visually soak in the weapon form she had just changed into, but instead he’d feel it snaking its way around his torso and frame. The scarf almost seemed alive, tightening itself to secure itself around the male. She was careful not to constrict him too much, remaining wound up there so he couldn’t claw himself free of her, but also not adding pressure that could possibly bruise him. Rue gave him ample time to process what was going on as the mist started to clear, the air quality returning with its departure.

Sitting away from the rest of the class on the beach was the four separated quarters of Kade. After his match against Alice, his attempt at apologizing and her immediately leaving the scene for reasons her own; Kade found himself alone. It was to be expected though, his partner was spending this vacation romantically with her boyfriend and he hadn't really made any significant bonds with the others. He made a good first attempt when he made seafood that Gwen was interested in sharing with him. Until it got them both sick for the next day.

He vaguely remember separating and the Brawler yelling back at Gwen that they hadn't planned to poisoned anyone, while the other three brothers laid sprawled about in misery.

With the last remnants of their own illness fading away, the four brothers were lazing about under the sun to try and relax.

"Huh?" All four of them turned when Alice made herself present before them. Using their real name instead of the aliases they used to distinguish themselves. So like curious little puppies hearing a new noise they all turned their attention to her. Runner was about to say something on the matter before an unamused Marksman covered the other's mouth with his hand to shut him up. They didn't need anymore flirty banner right now. Not when Alice wanted to join Kade specifically.

"Yeah we can do that. One sec. Stand back its gonna get a little smokey" The Brains said as he grasped the Brawler's arm who placed his on the Runner's head. Physical contact established between all four of them a burst of smoke suddenly engulfed them and dissipated quickly to reveal Kade whole again. The sunglasses the Marksman had been wearing covering his eyes, the flowery open shirt the Runner had on, the white tank top of the Brawler, and the black shorts that had been the Brains only now accommodating his more adult body.

"Morning Alice." Kade said with a kind smile as he sat in the last beach chair to the right of the now empty row. "Pick whichever one you want. I've just been enjoying the waves. First time in my life I got to see the ocean like this."

Alice knew that perhaps calling Kaden would have prompted all the guys to bring their attention onto the blonde. Dammit...Maybe I should have went up to Kaden alone and tapped his shoulder. Would have made more sense to. she thought. Watching them all like brothers was interesting but, being near Runner was one of her weaknesses at the moment. 'Oh my my, they're handsome boys...well...except the child there...But I can see why you blush like a little girl. Especially that big buff one. I'd like to see what it's like for him to scream~' at this point, the taunts were becoming more and more threatening to eat up the innocent soul in front of her. Being as strong as she was, she fought back, ignoring the taunts to the best of her ability. Smoke engulfed the area and it seemed like it was no issue to the blonde, allowing it to clear only to reveal Kade himself chilling in one chair while the others remained empty.

Kade had the whole outfit of all his counterparts, giving him a really nice tropical look that made him look like he was on vacation. Looks good on him...Even with his blue hair. he greeted her and invited her to sit. Taking a glance at her hands by looking behind her a bit, they were still acting up If I keep focusing on them, it may get worse...Man I really miss those pills... Elvy was a life saver. the blonde moved to Kade's opposite side and sat in the sand, uncaring if some got on her. Instead, she stuck her hands into the sand as quick as she could just to hide the problem that was physical "I dont mind sitting in the sand...It's nice." she gave him a warm smile and looked to the ocean "The ocean is pretty...I'm surprised you've seen it for the first time... It's definitely something you can admire any time you see it." she replied before adding something else.

"I'm...Sorry for leaving you the day of our match. It's not that I was ashamed of losing...It was just something that came up that I had to take care of. Ya know...Personal stuff and all."
she let out a nervous laugh and looked at him with that closed-eyed smile. Trying to make it seem like it was no big deal "I'm sure you remember everything all the guys did that day, right? It was pretty interesting." 'Aww Alice look at him. I love seeing those red eyes, that blue hair that's just like the ocean! He's beautiful, don't you agree? Bet you he's tasty...' Alice found her dark self very annoying to say the least. It was clear she wanted to ravage everyone here like a buffet.

  • The rest of the night was a hoot, at least for J anyway. Contrary to Jazmin's challenge, J did not, in fact, stay still, partly because it was near physically impossible for him to do such outside of certain circumstances, and, more importantly, because there was no entertainment value for him in it. He did, however, grab some food, and something to drink, though he had not-so-discretely threw away the drink the moment after he took his first sip. He wasn't one to allow himself to be inebriated without his own explicit say-so, and a spiked drink definitely fell under the category of "without his say-so". Nevertheless, even with that little snag, J had a grand old time, quipping every now and then, cackling constantly, and perhaps most importantly, listening to and watching everyone, silently cataloging every little thing that he could into a mental database for future entertainment usage. While he was watching, however, he had noticed on more than one occasion the look that his partner gave him, a complicated look that held just a hint of fear and trepidation in it. And honestly? It had drove a shiver of delight up his spine, and he had to physically hold himself back from widening his smile into something truly sinister or crazed. He'd never had a partner that could connect with him like Rue, let alone someone that seemed to be able to glimpse into what he was truly like, and this new avenue of entertainment was going to drive him mad if he didn't get on it as soon as possible. He supposed that they'd need to get a little heart to heart chat soon, or he supposed it would be more apt to say, he was going to take the initiative and confront Rue before she worked up the nerve to confront him and potentially put him on the backfoot. Still, eventually the night drew to a close and J went to bed, smile wider than usual in the darkness of the night, and plans for tomorrow tumbling chaotically in his head.

Soon dawn broke through the night, and being himself, J rose with it, bouncing to and fro getting ready, yet somehow doing it all silently as to not disturb anyone around him, not out of any sort of consideration or compassion, but more as a way to be able to get out and about as quickly as possible without the interference of anyone else. Having now exited the beach house, J decided to take a stroll through the beach to find a place to do some light morning exercises and a bit of personal training before finding Rue and see who was fighting in the first match of the day. Along the way he spotted Elvena and Takeshi lazing out and about on the beach, and even though he was oh so tempted to part introduce, part annoy them, even he knew that some things were best at a more appropriate time, a time that wouldn't result in him having to fight one, if not two, very scary individuals. It wasn't an easy decision to make, as the thought of the potential fight nearly drove him to suicide by enemy blade, but he was able to stop it and continue on his way to complete his routine, with enough time to make it back to the arena just as Ikora declared the start of the fight between his partner and that tall, girly haired blond fellow. Honestly, he was pleasantly surprised to get to see his partner in action against someone else, and unconsciously his grin widened as he kept his gaze on the arena, leaning forward ever so slightly as if to get a closer look and hear them better.

The first thing that he noticed was the way girly-hair, now properly identified to him as Llewellyn spoke to Rue, a sort of reverent, respectful, high class yet slightly submissive tone that seemed to stem from a place of habit. J took a note of that, grin somehow growing even further, an action that continued as he listened to the back and forth between his partner and her opponent. As they put new stakes to the match, new win conditions, and even as Rue began to turn the arena into her domain, J's smile and jittering only grew wider and stronger, and even though he all but already knew who the eventual victor would be, this was the most entertaining thing that he'd seen in a long while. And then when Rue decided to let loose just a bit more and encased the arena in a dome of ice, J simply couldn't hold it in anymore and began laughing wildly. Maybe to others they wouldn't be able to tell what was going on within the dome of ice, but for J, the dome may as well have not existed between his connection to Rue and his own skill with Adjust. He was eagerly awaiting to see what Rue would do next, because, whether she knew it or not, she was toying with her opponent, and oh what a wonderful source of entertainment it was for him.

GWEN

So the game went! The girls took the first point, but Akron possibly had one of the meanest spikes she ever saw! He was insanely strong, and it looked like he was even faster now that he wasn't encumbered by his plate mail armor. Gabe's quick save and call to the taller boy put Gwen on the defensive. If he adjusted his aim that could spell disaster for her and Jazz! Think Gwen, and act faster! The ball flew over the net like it was shot out of a cannon and she found herself stumbling after it.

"Jazz to you!" Gwen called out as she made a last minute save by transforming her arm into the staff section of her weapon form. Smacking the ball back into the air with the flat part of her chainsaw, careful to avoid hitting the sharp teeth edges. Watching her teammate launch it back into the air, the smaller girl leapt after it, smacking it as hard as she could towards the boys.

"Ehhh not been a lot chances to just relax and enjoy the sights. Seeing the ocean is one off the bucket list at least." Kade shrugged with a smile before Alice turned the conversation back to yesterday. Yeah he was certainly aware of what happened when the four brothers were loose in his stead. Everytime he fused back together it was like a computer downloading four separate files all at once. The first few seconds of re-integration left him dazed as his mind assimilated every sensation, memory, and the way the four processed those memories. That was honestly the worst part of merging whole again. The contrasting personalities saw the same situation but each had an opinion and interpretation on said event. They were all a part of him but when he saw these memories it created a fifth opinion, one that Kade considered the 'ruling' decree on the matter, but if he were to divide back into the four again they would once again believe their separate ideas were the 'correct' course. He was learning how to better handle the info dumps but he just hoped they never encountered a full day of extreme events, that could floor him without hesitation.

"Don't sweat it, everyone here got their own personal things going on from what I've noticed." Kade said sincerely to Alice when she tried to apologize for the other day and her abrupt departure. He didn't hold any grudges, and he figured she just wanted to get away after how flirty the Runner had been towards her. Out of the Four; that one and the Marksman bore the most physical resemblance to him after all. "Its so weird I every time I do it, but in a good way. Its like being half asleep, you are just aware enough, but the rest of your mind is already dreaming." he said trying to explain the phenomenon of separating into his four counterparts. Though as he continued to watch Alice, he didn't need the Marksman's senses to notice her body movement was completely different compared to yesterday.

Something was clearly disturbing Alice enough to the point it was affecting her physically.

"I'm just sorry the Runner was so forward with you like that. When I'm divided up like that they are the ones basically driving the car. Not me." Kade explained further what it was like with his curse. "Don't think that it needs to make things awkward between us. I know having personal stuff can make life....complicated....so if you ever need an ear to hear you out -or in my case four extra ones- never hesitate to hit me up. I'll do my best and I can certainly listen." He told her with a warm smile on his face. Trying to pry Alice's concern out wasn't going to work. He could tell that just from looking at the girl. If he wanted to help her, he would have to put his trust in her and let her approach him on her terms instead.

Elvena Stein

There was little to say and lately there seemed to be less of a need for words between them. Even with the lack or demand of verbal communication, Elvena made it a point to push her thoughts out into the universe, wanting it to remain a desideratum between them. In battle it was a step up above most other pairs, their innate ability to know what the other would want, need, or do next, but admittedly that silence and understanding was only so enticing at the end of the day. Outside of combat she desired to share her thoughts, even if he knew them, and desperately longed to remain an audio book instead of one he was constantly forced to read on his own. Luckily for him they worked perfectly the way they were since Elvy was much more of a reader and less of a listener, her inability to stop herself from interjecting constantly when a thought crossed her mind made her a shitty two way conversationalist. So as she laid there, recycling a bunch of ideas and personal analysis, a heightening awareness of Takeshi’s soul starting to stir more awake than it had been became the forefront of her mind. Part of her was disappointed that the stillness and tranquility of simply laying against him was now going to be disturbed by whatever the day would bring.

Speaking of, what was this day supposed to bring? Takeshi had fought, Elvena had already stepped into the ring. She’d studied ocean life, played harmless, okay maybe not so innocuous tricks upon Takeshi and a few other victims. There had been lots of training, which was refreshing as it broke outside of the normal scenery and routine of home. Scuba diving she’d done alone, Takeshi not seeming too enticed with the idea of it. The previous night she had licked the sauce off of every single wing on her plate, the chicken wings themselves being thrown into the water as she claimed it was a gift, an offering, that she was bestowing upon the sea creatures. Eventually those red hues flickered open, the harsh rays of the sun causing her to turn away and bury her face further into Takeshi as she let out small noises of sorts in disagreement to how bright it was. After taking extra time to adjust her eyesight to the world, she finally looked around and let her gaze slide from the ongoing volleyball game to the big ice dome off in the distance. That new discovery made her sit up in a rush, much like a vampire rising from a coffin. A hand was raised to shield the sun from obscuring her ability to properly determine and confirm what she was staring at before she turned towards Takeshi.

Intriguing indeed. “ She commented softly as her words were followed by a yawn that had forced its way out, whole body shaking as the sleepiness expelled itself from the meister like an exorcism of sorts. Tiredness was the devil, at least in her eyes. It got in the way of practically everything and that sluggish feeling when exhaustion started to creep was a huge annoyance. Elvena smiled towards her partner, a hint of eeriness lingering behind it as she came to a stand and ran off towards where most of the food was kept. After a few minutes she came bounding back into sight, carrying a rather massive watermelon and cradling it much like it was newly acquired treasure she had found. The Stein sat back down and deposited the fruit onto the sand in front of them, those surgeon skilled hands reaching for her sword. In a split second, which she knew Takeshi’s trained eye could easily follow, the melon in front of them had been sliced expertly into perfectly cut slices. Elvy didn’t hesitate to sheathe her sword, motion towards him, and grab one of the pieces, happily munching and indulging in its sweetness.

And there she stood, having returned to human form, one arm draped over his shoulder while a hand rested delicately atop his scar. She took great care to keep her touch tender and mindful as she slowly withdrew her hand, fingertips brushing against it in a way that seemed like she was mentally drawing a map of it with a light tracing motion. The way they stood in the middle of the circle, stance and all, as the walls began to gradually melt, from an outside view resembled two people about to begin a dance at a ball of some sort.

-----------------------------------------------------
E01pMIEWYAQeqsj.pngI have something. The young man realized very quickly as he attained a loose hold on his opponent. Unfortunately, Llewellyn was unable to see what part of Princess Sivogn he had grasped due to the thick obscuring fog. Hopefully, it was not an inappropriate area, or Llewellyn was fairly certain he would be hearing about it constantly in the days to come. Tentatively, he clenched his hand tighter around the blue haired woman’s flesh, careful to not accidentally cause unnecessary harm. All I need to do now is locate the Princess’s hand. He was feeling very confident in his ability to win this spar now. Though, before Llewellyn could attempt to prod about for the young woman’s arm, he felt the Princess disappear from his grip.

Llewellyn’s hand was loosely holding something much softer and smoother than he had expected the young royal to feel, but he could not immediately recognize just what it was that he had in his hand. Is this the work of Magic? The long haired male could not help but wonder as he retracted his outstretched arm in order to get a proper view of the new object. Unfortunately, Llewellyn never received the chance to closely inspect the object before it moved, as if it had a life of it’s own. The cloth, for Llewellyn had finally realized the item he had been previously grasping was some sort of textile, snaked across his body far faster than he could have ever hoped to react in his understandably surprised state. Then, when the mysterious textile forcibly bound Llewellyn’s arms to his sides, it dawned on him. Professor Ikora mentioned this! Princess Sivogn’s Weapon Form is a Scarf! The realization did little to assist the blonde in escaping from the transformed Princess’s hold, but it did allow him to understand the severity of his current predicament. Llewellyn struggled against the binding, only to find that his efforts were ultimately futile. The Princess had wrapped herself across the section of his arms that would prevent Llewellyn from lifting them up high enough to free himself. Still, the young man attempted to raise his arms anyway. He had promised to give this spar his utmost effort, even if it was quite clear to the young man that he had already lost.

When Llewellyn felt the binding around him shift, he knew that the Princess was transforming once more. He tried to quickly interject one of his hands between his scar and what he assumed would be his opponent’s fingers, however, the foreign presence brushing against Llewelyn’s chest told him that it was already too late. The young man had lost in accordance with the terms he had set. If he were a dishonorable fellow, Llewellyn would have taken this exact opportunity to surprise the Princess with a cheap shot or by attempting to throw her outside of the ‘arena’. Llewellyn was not dishonorable, so he instead took a deep breath; let out a short sigh; relaxed his previously tensed muscles and then spoke. “ Well done, your Highness. ” A small smile made its way to Llewellyn’s lips once more but it stopped just short of his eyes. It seems I have much farther still to go if I wish to combat true threats to my Meister and Allies.

-----------------------------------------------------

Rue’s face lit up with a sense of pride at the words the other weapon spoke. Indeed he could’ve chosen not to stick to their self acclaimed terms but instead he remained loyal to his word and accepted the defeat. He’s very noble. She concluded, watching the small smile that appeared on his face. “ I’m not sure I would’ve stood a chance if I didn’t have my unusual abilities to help aid me in this fight. Thank you for your kind words and for remaining honorable throughout our spar. I enjoyed it. “ As the woman spoke, she pulled her arms back to her sides and returned that same smile, however hers was grander, as those eyes smiled too. She clasped her hands together and fiddled with her piano-like fingers, producing a delicately sculpted rose that carried the same hue as her hair. It was customary in her land to show appreciation after a spar.

However it was a small token that wouldn’t last, unfortunately, as her icy branch of magic when faced with the harsh rays of the sun just couldn’t hold its own. But it would last a while and truly it was all she could think of to offer him. So she held it out, both hands cradling it with open palms as she presented it to him with the utmost confidence. “ I hope you’ll allow me to fight alongside you in the future, even if my weapon form is far from practical. And I must extend my deepest apologies for invading your personal space. Normally I wouldn’t be so physically forthright. “ Her smile remained unwavering but the faintest of humiliation over her actions presented itself as a brushstroke of red upon her cheeks.

-----------------------------------------------------

The bright expression that Princess Sivogn wore after hearing his words left a strange feeling lingering about alongside the small amount of satisfaction. Llewellyn was glad that his loss made another unconventional Weapon feel validated. He was well aware of the stigma unconventional Weapons received from their peers. The young man had lived through the experience himself. Though, the Princess surprised Llewellyn by admitting that she would not have won without her Magic. That particular bit of knowledge had yet another foreign feeling blooming within the young man's chest: Pride. " You need not thank me, your Highness. My actions were those of any proper ser-. " Llewellyn nearly had to bite his tongue to halt what would have been a catastrophic slip up. If he had completed that sentence, there was no telling just how disappointed Alice and Hitomi would have been. He was no longer a mere servant, Alice, Hitomi, even his brief acquaintance Baira had told him so. " O-of any proper man. "

Thankfully, Princess Sivogn provided a distraction for any slight embarrassment the long haired male had been feeling. The light blue, icy rose in the young woman's hand was as beautiful as its bearer, not that Llewellyn would say anything so forward. His now pinkish right hand reached out slowly to gently pluck the icy rose offered to him. " You do not need to apologize to me, your Highness. I did not mind the intrusion. " Llewellyn had been bothered when Princess Sivogn decided to touch his hair, but he had already forgiven her for that. There was no further reason for the young royal to worry over something that was expected in a fight, at least, those were Llewellyn's thoughts on the matter. " More importantly, you may feel free to call on me to fight at your side whenever you wish, your Highness. It would be an honor to serve as your Shield. " Llewellyn gently swept his right arm across his chest, still clutching the icy rose, in order to give another light bow once he had finished speaking.

"Nice one!!" She calls out as Gabriel successfully manages to keep the ball in the air after his dramatic dive. Now it was all up to Akron to hit it correctly over the net. She readied herself for anything as she watched Akron gracefully leap into the air spiking the ball on their side of the court. "Gwen!!" She called out as her partner moved without hesitation diving for the ball using her partial to extend her reach saving it. "Excellent, I got it. Recover for a spike!!" She says as she maneuvers towards the ball hitting it into the air, setting up for a perfect spike for Gwen. "All yours Gwen!" She says watching as Gwen followed through leaping into the air smacking the ball towards the boys. "Nice!!" She turns her attention to the ball following it, getting ready for anything.

Grace vs Marcus

5fde08c406526f6febdae44d1b9d91bf.jpgHearing his name called by his cousin, he knew it was time for him to finally fight. He walks up to the ring and stops right in front of it. He took off his Death City fitted cap and his shirt, tossing them both to the side. With the rubber band on his wrist, he ties his locks back into a small ponytail, all while glancing at his opponent Grace. Thinking back, he hasn’t seen much of her combat skills outside of their last team mission, and even then he was focused on resonating with Elias. So to him this would be a good opportunity to see what exactly she’s capable of first hand, outside of reading her soul. He grabbed his phone from his pocket and started playing music connected to the speakers. He stepped inside the ring swinging his arms back and forth stretching out his back. He stood in front of Grace, looking down on her as he towered over her. It goes without saying that if he wanted any of his attacks to land he’ll obviously need to aim low. “Shall we exchange words or would you rather get right to it?” He asked, swinging his arms back and forth
Grace sighed as she stepped into the ring for the ‘mandatory’ portion of her ‘mandatory fun,’ shortening the pasta stick in her mouth with a quick bite as she studied Marcus dully for a few moments. In stark contrast to many of the others--and to someone who knew their grade was supposedly on the line--she didn’t seem all that enthused over the prospect of fighting. It was difficult to discern exactly how she felt, given her flat stare, but the girl seemed to possess a slightly greater sense of dreariness than usual. Doubtlessly, this wasn’t how she expected to spend her day.

With a roll of her shoulders, she stuck her hands in her pockets, her stance far from a ready one. “Don’t see what there is to say, unless you wanna say something,” she replied dryly, the slight drag behind her voice confirming any suspicions that she’d rather not have to deal with a spar in the first place. As one of the smallest students in the class, her reach was nothing compared to Marcus’s without the assistance of a weapon. If she had the necessary speed, however, her small stature and slight frame might end up making her more difficult to hit than initially expected. “Let’s get this wrapped up.”

As he looked down at Grace, he tilted his head in question to her chewing on a pasta stick. That couldn’t possibly taste good. He thought to himself. By her expression it was hard to tell whether or not how exactly she felt about sparring with him, however it was confirmed later as she spoke. She was far from interested and just like him, she wanted to get it started and over with. “As you wish.” Marcus says. “Come and make the first move. Ladies first you know.” He says with a smirk holding out his arms.

1632960405652.pngThe smaller student sighed. “I’d rather not, but alright,” she said, her lidded eyes focusing on him for one last moment as she crouched down into a more prepared pose, her hands slowly rising from her pockets. The second the girl had her balance, she shot forward with surprising speed, shoes kicking up sand behind her as she closed in on her target in no more than a second. Right when it seemed as if Grace were about to close in for a sudden, high-speed strike, she changed direction entirely, kicking up a cloud of sand as she darted beneath Marcus’s arm as she positioned herself behind him, hopping up as she swung her leg for his head in the midst of the cloud of sand.

As Grace made her charge, the smirk on his face simply intensified. She shot forward with great speed, speed he’s seen before first hand. She made a straight shot towards Marcus, which may seem like a very bold move, but there was no way she was gonna go straight at him. He figured she was going to switch off last minute and come in at an angle. That's what he’ll do at least. Right before she closed in, his eyes followed her as she switched directions. However when she did, she kicked up a cloud of sand obscuring Marcus’ vision. He closed his eyes and locked onto her soul. As she hopped into the air to kick the back of his head, he rotated to the side grabbing her leg with both of his hands and slings her forward. Chasing after her, he charges right before leaping into the air and coming down with a powerful palm strike.

Grace righted herself in the air, grumbling to herself slightly as she skidded through the sand on her feet. Before she had the time for any mild self-chastisement, her opponent had already begun his follow-up. She briefly found herself on the back-foot, uncertain as to how she was going to respond to his charge--until he jumped. That changed things; now that Marcus had a predictable trajectory, she held her ground, waiting and carefully timing his arrival as he extended his hand and rushed down toward her. If she didn’t have any momentum to spare, then why not use his? Slipping out of the way with no more than a second to spare, she brought her leg upward, sending her foot straight for Marcus’s gut.

As Marcus began his charge, he was surprised and happy to see Grace recover as quickly as she did. This was exactly what he wanted, he wanted to see what exactly Grace held up her sleeves. Though it was sad to say that as she recovered, it was too late for Marcus to change his plan of attack. You see the young meister was already in motion to leap towards his opponent, now all he could do was see it through. There was a slim chance of him actually connecting his attack now that she knew just how he was coming. He knew she was planning something, just by the look of her soul, all he could do was brace for whatever attack was coming his way. When Grace brought her foot up, Marcus' eyes widened as he realized what was happening. He instinctively tightened his core bracing himself for the kick. It was a good thing he was used to this feeling due to the constant gut punches Ikora gave him, as a form of training. The kick connected, using Marcus’ own momentum against him. Releasing a small grunt from the attack, he grabs hold of her foot and hits her with a small dose of his soul force. If it worked as intended, the concussive force would knock her back into the sand while her insides would feel hot.

Grace winced, tumbling backward away from Marcus, kicking up sand as she splayed through the ground. “...Alright, fine,” she muttered, picking herself up and shaking sand from her clothes. Wavelength attacks were an advantage she was still working on, and field-testing hadn’t been part of her planning. Perhaps strangely, she didn’t move to attack right away, remaining right where she was. She pulled a foot back, tapping her toes into the ground as she reset the way her shoes felt on her foot, before settling back into a ready stance.

The Ocean was on his bucket list? Maybe he was someone who was inland more, where oceans could never be seen from, and travel was not an option for him. While he talked, her fingers wiggled underneath the sand, loving the gritty but soft feeling between them. "It's like being half asleep...That sounds like an interesting way to put it..." it was similar to herself and her madness. Though, instead of being half asleep, she was in the front row seat, fully awake, watching her body be controlled by something that wasn't herself. "Don't be sorry, you can't really control someone else who has their own thoughts and opinions...Even if they are you." which ironically could be placed between her and her madness. Alice always tried to control it, knowing that it had its own thoughts, its own mind, its own feelings. But that was because her counterpart would destroy everything she loves, including Alice's body and leave her for dead. It was evil that lurked right outside the door.

In surprise, she heard that supportive nature that her Foster Brother used to say to her, causing the Blonde to look directly at Kade with slightly widened eyes. He barely knows me and he's already willing to listen out to my issues.. He's like my brother... she thought, hearing the snickers and remarks of her Madness in the back of her mind. In a way, he would understand her. But in another, he wouldn't. Why?; Because his group didn't mentally torment him, nor did they threaten to kill and take away things that he loves and enjoys. "I-...I appreciate that, Kade. But I'm okay right now. Just lots of thinking and planning for the future." slowly she dug her feet into the sand, loving how the lower layers were cooler for the warm weather. It was nice to not have Runner constantly flirting with her this time around, giving her room to breathe, process, and not get flustered. Biting her lip slightly, she shifted a bit in the sand, wiggling her toes and very well knowing the sand was sticking to her body. Which meant she would have to go on ahead into the water to wash it all off.

"How do you feel about having Rin for a weapon? An Assault Rifle... I heard she's pretty cool. Very capable of handling her own unless...You know, you get transporting Kishins."
finding out about that Injury, she was worried that she would have died. Getting stabbed with the staff that she did...

Grace vs Marcus
Marcus stood idly by as he watched Grace get herself together. There was a grin on his face, a grin not from arrogance but from pure bliss. He was simply enjoying himself and couldn’t help but grin. After Grace stands back up he readies herself again. “You having fun yet Grace?” He asked, right as he began walking around her. When the moment arrives, he charges in swinging quick and precise punches aiming low enough to hit Grace.

Grace huffed. “No,” she said flatly, merely waiting as Marcus moved to close the gap. Seemingly, she had been forced on the defensive, though that fact was made all the more curious by the fact that she made no initial move before her opponent had closed in, nor did she make any opportunity to counter as Marcus’s blows came her way. Instead, she merely parried and weaved, her slightly lidded eyes watching each blow as it came and went, and her movements serving solely to maneuver her out of the way, rather than shift her into any position to attack. Was she throwing?

Mid swing Marcus frowned towards Grace’s response. “Damn, well that’s too bad.” He says simply. On his next swing, as she tries to either block or parry, Marcus would grab her arm and pull her in, striking with his palm giving her another dose of his soul force. This time there was a bit more than the last. “Why keep fighting if you ain’t enjoying it??”

Grace’s eyes widened slightly as Marcus’s hand closed around her arm, his other pulling back in preparation for another open-palmed strike. For a moment, it may have seemed like a muted surprise, but the moment she served to pull herself inward with Marcus’s own grapple, it was clear her expression was something else entirely. Suddenly boosting her momentum and lifting her feet from the ground in tandem with Marcus’s own pull, she shifted her body out of the way, wincing as his strike connected partially with her shoulder, yet failed to break her sudden, forward movement--instead, it merely shifted her outward, adding another, dangerous vector to her movement. In a split, mid-air second, she struck out with her leg at Marcus’s own, taking advantage of his extended posture in an attempt to compromise his own footing, reaching out with her free hand to try and grab his opposite arm and force a sudden commitment to his downward movement. If everything went according to plan, then he’d be heading face-first into the sand whether he let go or not--with Grace positioned behind him.

Marcus watched as Grace’s eyes widened, thinking he caught her off guard, but in fact it was the complete opposite. She was waiting for this moment to turn the tides and finally take the offense. She’s been luring Marcus into a trap and it worked. Using his own pull against him, she lifted herself into the air dodging the full consequences from Marcus' attack. It was safe for him to assume she was going for a grabbing maneuver in order to get him to the ground. That thought crossed his mind since before their fight took place. She was smaller and maybe swifter so it’ll be useful for her to use his own strength against him. The thing is, she was already ensnared in his own trap just as much as he was in hers. He tightened his grasp on her arm and with that hand he struck her again with his soul force. The sudden and quick attack will fill her body instantly up with a burning situation, causing her movements to seize. If everything continues as planned he’ll grab her with his other hand and sling her into the sand.

Grace grit her teeth as the clashing wavelength rushed through her body again, her mind momentarily dazed as she found herself tumbling through the air and into the sand a second time. She remained still for several moments, before quickly picking herself out of the sand wordlessly, one fist clenched. Her eyes remained half-lidded, narrowing slightly for a brief moment before widening ever so subtly once again. Was she tiring? Despite having taken multiple heavy hits by that point, she was as difficult to read as ever. After her moment of silence, she suddenly dashed forward again, as if reinvigorated; for a moment, it appeared as if she was going to move right toward Marcus, only for her to dart off to the side as she closed in, her movements similar to her earlier opening. Then, out of nowhere, she shifted direction again, moving in directly from the side. Then, she dipped down, ducking low into the sand as she positioned her smaller build outside of grabbing range, and moved right for Marcus’s legs at high speed, barreling into--and hopefully--through and past them with a sliding kick.

Marcus watched as Grace took a moment to lay in the sand, before getting up again. Looking at her eyes, it seemed like they were closed for a moment as she continued to gather herself. But when they shot open it was like she received yet another burst of energy. He watched as she bolted towards him, changing directions twice. Usually someone may have been thrown off towards this quick change in movement, but Marcus had been locked on since the beginning. He stood tall allowing her to get close to him. Usually when fighting, Marcus would be much like Grace in this situation moving swiftly around his opponent coming at different angles. However, since he’s dealing with someone much smaller than him, there was no point. He simply had to stand and wait for his opportunity. As Grace closes in, Marcus pulls off his signature leap, and jumps into the air, avoiding Grace’s low kick. Using this to his advantage, he clenches his fist and as he comes down slamming it into the ground using his soul force to release a concussive wave. The wave sent up a burst of sand giving Marcus cover and hopefully staggering Grace. Using the cover he goes straight for Grace, and attempts to grab her and sling her towards the edge of the ring for a ring out.

Perhaps surprisingly, Grace kept moving after her kick, as if that were always part of her plan. She hopped upward as she maintained her momentum, spinning in the air before pulling her clenched hand back. Then, she hesitated, eyes squinting as her senses made it clear that Marcus wasn’t where she had intended for him to be. “...Riff on it,” she muttered to herself, bringing her arms up in a cross-guard as she let the shockwave push her slightly further outward. She touched down in the sand with both feet, waiting for Marcus’s approach. Of course, Grace didn’t have to wait long. Her eyes remained trained on his movements in the mere second leading up to it all, before she sprung into action once again with barely any space to spare. As he came forward, she slipped downward, tucking her smaller frame just out of his grasp as she simply shot past him without a single strike thrown. The instant she had cleared him, she lept along the ground, her momentum continuing to carry her away from Marcus as she turned in a top-like, midair spin, putting as much force into her brief revolution as she could. As her foot skimmed the sand once more, she slung her still-clenched fist around, finally releasing it with wide, focused eyes. A grey blur cut through the air like a bullet as a stone, picked up during one of Grace’s tumbles in the sand and spinning like a skipped pebble, flew right for the back of Marcus’s head.

Right when he thought he had her, the sly Grace slipped through his grasp. Her movement was swift and calculated. He felt her presence behind her preparing some form of assault upon him. The thing is, she wasn’t necessarily approaching. “Fuck!” He says as something collides with the back of Marcus' head with the force and feeling of a rock. Almost in disbelief, he stood there as the sand cleared, rubbing the back of his head. He couldn’t believe that she threw a rock at him. He turns around still rubbing his head and looks at Grace in disbelief as a chuckle starts to escape his mouth.. “Did...did you really just throw a rock at me dawg?? Like I would rather you throw a punch than a damn rock. You beamed the fuck out my head. I-I-don't even wanna fight no more man. Like you win dawg, I’m finna go enjoy this last day and recollect myself after what just happened.” he says chuckling in disbelief walking out the arena and towards his stuff.

Grace blinked, for a moment showing more emotion than she had for the entirety of the fight. Had she done something wrong? She looked to the teachers for a moment, then over to Marcus, sighing as she crossed one arm over her chest, bringing her other hand up to pinch at the bridge of her nose. “...Yeah. Alright,” she muttered the adrenaline fading away from her in record time as she returned to her usual, droopy, half-there self. “...This is what you get for strategizing, huh,” she muttered to herself, remaining in the ring for another moment before stepping out, shaking sand and dust out of her clothes with a slightly-foul expression on her face. Her pace out of the ring was slightly slower than Marcus’s own, the girl taking her time when it came to regaining her breath and her composure. “Hey,” she called out to her sparring partner as she approached on the outside, ultimately just as willing to call it off as he was, “one more thing.”

Marcus stood out the ring as he started using his shirt to get the sand off of his upper and lower body. He overheard Ikora announcing Grace as the winner and for the next two final fighters to the ring. “Nicholai! Crimson! To the ring!” As he placed his shirt on, he heard Grace call out to him specifically. He turned to face her wondering what she had to say. “Yeah what’s up??”

She huffed slightly, crossing her arms as she stared up at the other student. To those who didn’t know the girl well, the look on her face might have been considered a glare, yet it lacked the firmness of such an expression, instead constituting the same, partly-lidded, neutral stare that she seemed solely capable of. “...To answer your earlier question,” she began with a slight huff, “I kept fighting because I need a decent grade.” Was that the answer Marcus had been looking for? Regardless of whether or not it was, her answer seemed genuine, and completely serious. “I’m not the best test-taker, so the practicals have to make up for it.” With that, she stretched a hand out, letting it limply hang in the air as she offered a handshake of some sort. “...So no hard feelings about the rock, alright?”

Marcus tilts his head in question as Grace spoke. Grade?? We're being graded?? He thought to himself confused at the fact he had no idea they were being graded. "I honestly didn't know we were being graded. But I guess that's a good excuse. You did great in there, and you're definitely quick on your feet. So if we are being graded then I'm sure you passed with flying colors dawg. I won't hold that rock thing against you. It was a match and I simply ain't expect that. Can't get mad either since it was a great play, definitely no hard feelings. Let's spare some more some other time." He says with a genuine smile before walking off heading towards the boys beach house.

Mentions: J ( Exanis Exanis ), Rue ( Kyuubey Kyuubey ), Gabriel ( RageFactorXIII RageFactorXIII ), and everyone else on the beach

Morika sat on a large towel on the sand, under a large umbrella surrounded by many of her creations as she was finishing up stitching a plush chibi version of her new classmate Rue. She had already made two plush chibis of J, one for him and the other for Rue. Morika looked up every now and then to gaze around at her classmates as they were having fun, a small smile graced her lips as she watched them interact. Even though she was hesitant about this trip before, she knew that she was glad to have gone on it. It allowed her to get closer to her classmates and cleared up a misunderstanding of their opinion of her.

The only thing she was hoping for now was to complete all of the chibis of her new classmates before this trip ended and that no sand got into them nor onto the materials that she was working with. Morika put the finishing stitches on the Rue chibi and hugged the plush close to her chest when she was finished before setting her aside and picking up material to begin working on a plush chibi of her new partner, Gabriel. She really hoped that her new classmates liked the plush chibis of themselves and if they didn't then she could either keep them or give them away.

Nicholai spoke about his reasoning behind his move to the states and it was by far the last thing she'd expected. Your own weapon partner trying to kill you? This was a concept she'd never even thought of before. She'd always thought the connection between Meister and Weapon to be that of an unbreakable bond, holding together even in the most strenuous situations. But then she remembered what happened to Alcross. How she'd first thought their bond unbreakable too, only to have her point proven wrong in that kidnapping scenario. But even then there was no animosity between them in the end, not like how Nicholai describes his relationship with his former partner. She pondered on the thought for a moment as she allowed Nico to continue talking. Eventually onto the topic of his parents. Camilla could help but feel for him once she heard his real parents had passed away, her violet hues lowered to the ground for a moment, a mix of sadness and understanding on her expression. "Oh... I..." She considered for a moment saying that she could relate... But for some reason the words caught in the back of her throat, unable to go any further. Instead deciding to offer her condolences . "I'm sorry to hear that..." How does Nicholai manage to talk about topics like that easier than she could? Well quite simply because that years later she still isn't fully accepting of the fact. She wasn't sure if she ever will be. Suddenly Nicholai hit her with a statement that caught her completely off guard while stuck in that train of thought. She stuttered for a moment "My p-parents...? Uh thank you... Heh... They really were nice..." She smiled in response but the look in her eyes betrayed the façade, showing how she really felt about such a topic. Along with the strong use of the word, 'were' it may be enough of a hint to tell what troubled her. All of a sudden Ikora's voice rang out from the beach announcing the winner of the fight between Grace and Marcus and the beginning of her fight with Nicholai. "Ah! It's that time already!? We better get down to the beach! Last thing we wanna do is incur Miss Rung's wrath for being late!" Deep inside she thought that timing couldn't be better, just before the conversation started to get too personal for her, on the other hand though it also meant now she had to fight with the very student she'd just been chatting with.

the girls managed the save the ball a good one on there part.. considering his first blunder the tall male was sure they’d likely win as the appeared evenly matched, there was a part of Akron that wanted the girls to actually win.. Akron worried what they would do if they actually lost, not that it stopped him from playing his arm shooting out and taking a step to the side the volleyball bounced up off the boys hand Akron using his other arm to send it back towards them with force. A tiny smile creeping up on his lips… this.. was… fun? A rare feeling for the scard male but none the less that what felt.

Nicholai stepped into the makeshift arena a bit of a spring in his step about it. A cheerful grin upon his face. Waiting for Camilla to step into the arena as well before giving her a small bow. “Let the best meister win, yes?” Nicholai would respond cheerfully.

Camilla entered the arena not long after Nicholai had stepped in, a look of determination on her features. She still felt that she didn’t want to have to fight her own comrades but if this is the way the teachers will measure their strength then she’s just going to have to give it all she’s got. Seeing Nicholai grinning in her direction she returned the gesture. “Of course! Don’t be going easy on me though. I’m stronger than I look, you might end up regretting it!”

“Of course my friend i do plan on letting you off easy” Nicholai grin faded to a more serious look now, he wasn’t going to half ass this even if he wasn’t as skilled of a fighter without a weapon. Nicho making the first move practically jumping towards Camilla, he’d attempt to hit her in the stomach though a little hesitant to do so and his technique was rather sloppy, he’d fully expect camilla to be far better at this.

Camilla stared Nicholai down as he spoke his piece, soon he launched into action. He was quick, but Cami was trained for moments like this by Doren, moments where she might not always have her partner close at hand. She could tell he was going straight for a gut punch, it was easy to predict and Camilla moved accordingly out of the way to dodge the attack before returning with a swift roundhouse kick to the side as he approached. She wasn’t sure why he’d go straight for such a straightforward attack. Sure he was new to the DWMA but she felt there was more to it than that. Is he trying to figure her out?

Nicholai managed to just barely get out of the way of camilla’s kick the russian being rather agile he didn’t stop however keeping up the jumpy agile movements almost as if he was dancing around his opponent it was unlikely Camilla could hit him at least Nico though that would be the case, and then he’d suddenly stopped attempting a leg sweep hoping he’d sufficiently distracted her with his almost dancing antics.

Camilla was surprised to see Nicholai jump out the way of her kick like that he was far more agile than she thought. This would only be even further reinforced by his erratic movement after. Never staying in one place too long, trying to throw her off and it worked too. Having trouble keeping up with such agile speed she was met by a swift leg sweep and knocked to the ground. This was going to be harder than she thought… However, seeing an opening after Nico’s attack, Cami used her legs to trip up Nicholai and force him into an arm lock. Twisting round and kneeling on his back while keeping his arm held to his back. This way she could possibly force him to bow out before the fight got out of hand. The last thing she wanted was for any lasting injuries on both sides. Of course that would depend on how Nicholai reacts from here.

Nico was pleased that he’d managed to actually knock Camilla down; it seemed maybe they were more evenly matched then he had previously thought. He was forced to pause by his attack and well Camilla had taken this opportunity to pull Nicho into an armlock and force the male to the ground in a matter of seconds, Nicholai couldn’t help but frown… had he really just been taken out so easily? His face turned to a small frown almost thinking of giving up however he remembered what he’d promised.. To give it one hundred percent, this was like fifty percent. “k chertu .. chto proiskhodit proiskhodit” Nicholai mumbled under his breath, with a shimmering glint in his eyes Nicholai hair suddenly sprouted fluffy fox-like ears and nine or so large silver-white tail suddenly emerged from Nicholai’s back smothering Camilla would a sudden cloud of fluffiness.

1633583950330.png1633584068043.png

Camilla only grew more confident as Nicholai failed to free himself from her grasp, hopefully leaving him little option but to give in. But instead he muttered something else. “Huh? What did you say? Are you saying you surrender?” She initially thought, although it didn’t even sound like English as far as she could tell. Then all of a sudden her vision was blocked by the sudden emergence of a fluffy white cloud. A sensation akin to snuggling into a big warm heated blanket. The sudden surprised caused Camilla to let go of Nicholai and stumble back in a complete daze. Bewildered as what just took place. She had to take a second to step back and regain her composure before she could focus on her enemy again. Looking back at Nicholai she was once again taken by surprise by his new look. “Those fox ears… And those tails… Yeah there’s no doubt about it…” There was an ominous silence as Cami’s words trailed off for a moment. “That… THAT’S THE CUTEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN!” Cami had stars in her eyes as she shouted. Overwhelmed by the sheer adorableness that was Nicho’s current form.

Nicholai was surprised his gambit actually worked. Camila had pulled away from the frankly difficult to escape hold she’d previously put him in. Taking this opportunity Nico took a few steps forward to get some distance between himself and his opponent, turning around his tails swished behind him as he tried to just focus on the situation and hoped no one would suddenly jump in and try to stab him. Instead his gold and blue eyes stared back at Camilla's own… her reaction was.. Unexpected, the Russian blinked multiple times. “What? Um suppose so?” Nicholai was rather confused as to how he should respond, coughing a little bit due to the awkwardness. It was only then he realized that it was still a sparring match. “Oh err should get back to sparing” Nicholai mumbled instead of rushing Camilla his ears twitched and he’d flick an arm out 5 little blips of energy launching form each finger tip that would lunch and suddenly disappear only to suddenly reappear form behind Camilla hitting the red head while she was distracted the strikes but itchy and stingy but not actually doing anything.

Forgetting for a good moment that she was suppose to be fighting, she gave the chance for nicho to launch another attack, however unlike how he had been fighting earlier he had actually used an ability unbeknownst to her. Suddenly she started to feel a stinging sensation all around her body. Like a bunch of little ants biting repeatedly. “Ow! Hey! What’s going on!?” She shouted out trying to figure out the source. She could only assume it was none other than Nicho using some kind of move. Was it wavelength control? If it was it was unlike anything she’d heard of before. Maybe it was more than that… Given little option she had no choice but to endure it if she wanted to have a chance to fight back. However he was more agile than she was and she had little to no range to make up for it. The moment she closes the gap he could just as easily get away and wear her out. Remembering what she had learned she decided on a different approach. Let them come to you. Camilla stood her ground and threw a taunting glare towards Nicholai. “It’s gonna take more than a little stinging to beat me Nico! Might wanna try something else!”

Nicho grinned a little bit it seemed his gambit had worked rather well, Camilla was totally taken off guard by the attack however it was gonna take a lot more just his little blasting trick to actually win steeling his gaze towards the girl he’d again move towards her another flick off another set of bolts form his fingers each one possible distracting Camilla long enough for him to hopefully grab her arm and pull the girl into some kind of armlock of course his technique was sloppy that it would be fairly easy for Camilla to escape it.

Camilla saw the blasts this time as they flew off, her hues shifted into the general direction they were headed but lost them immediately. Considering that she hasn’t been hit yet it was about this time she realised it was actually a distraction, in the corner of her eye she spotted movement headed directly towards her then felt something grab her arm, it was Nicho attempting to pull her into a similar state she was in too. However, like earlier his technique could do with a good amount of improvement. He was fast but his hand to hand prowess dragged him down. She could use this to her advantage. Using his own momentum against him she turned around and grabbed his arm that he held onto her with and flipped him over her back. Keeping a hold on his arm and putting a foot on the other she hoped that this time she could hold him down without any more surprises. “Don’t suppose you have anymore tricks up your sleeve? I’m ready this time no matter what you throw at me.”

Once again Nicholai sloppy technique had let him down he’d been flipped over and was again in a hold was he really this useless without a weapon? Nicho huffed looking up at Camilla as she had him held again the ground. “Actually yes” he’d reply with a smirk suddenly with a flash of light and puff of silveriness. Nicholai transformed further into a large fluffy multi tailed fox scampering out form Camilla’s range.

Camilla was ready for anything that would emerge from the flash of light before her… Or so she thought. In a most unexpected turn of events Nicholai had actually transformed into a fully fledged nine-tailed fox like the ones she heard about in myths and legends. Otherwise known as Kitsune. So taken aback once more by the sheer beauty of such a creature it had found it’s chance to skitter away again and Camilla just simply watched the whole time. Finally she made a hard decision that had to be made. “I… I can’t hurt such an adorable creature! I forfeit the match!” She exclaimed with her hand up, simply taking the loss out of her hesitation to inflict any physical harm on Nicho in this form.

Nicholai ears dropped titling his head to the side confused and surprised that he’d made her forfeit the match due to sheer adorableness it was a win but a weird one at that yet he couldn’t help but feel a little proud… maybe it wasn’t so bad after all? This whole curse if people here thought it was just cute and not something terrifying. The large fox Nicholai trotted up to Camilla nuzzling her a little and letting her pat him for a bit before walking out of the arena and changing back to normal no ears or tail Nicho. “Good match really had me most of time” he’d congratulate his opponent cheerfully.

"Heh I'm sure the Marksman will absolutely love having her around. He can finally be long range support while Brawler and Runner go crazy." Kade commented with a chuckle when Alice brought up his partnership with Rin. "Ehh what can I really say beyond any of that? I barely know her like everyone else here." He said reclining back and letting his sunglasses fall over his eyes while he admired the blue sky. "She's gotta be tough to keep going after losing her first meister friend like that, but I'm keeping my distance for this little vacation. She deserves to spend it with her boyfriend and people she's come to lean on for support. Not the random guy who just stumbled into this vacation because he was the replacement Meister." Kade spoke humbly and without depression or frustration in his voice as he looked over at Alice again.

Even when he was little before the curse took hold and created the four brothers, Kade had enjoyed the silence and peace isolation brought him. Many would despise and loath the social isolation, but Kade used the time for self reflection. Develop hobbies and handle more domestic problems. Wherever he hung his hat he made that place into his sanctuary. Even now in Death City. He was told Rin stayed with her family that lived in the city so instead he opted to rent one of the apartments offered to students. He had little time to unpack before the vacation but four sets of hands worked faster than one. When Kade came home after school he cleaned the rooms for himself. Instead of making simple microwave meals, he cooked and prepared delicious dinners, he went to bed at a reasonable hour for his health, and made sure to always practice good hygiene. Maybe that was how he managed to leash the Four into a sense of stability. Not having to fret over many in his life gave him a chance of self reflection that allowed him to study and improve on who he wanted to be. More so now that his curse made keeping social circles difficult.

"So? Can I call you my friend?" Kade then decided to ask Alice directly with a happy grin and his eyes closed. "Thinking and planning on things is all good. Trust me, I take a lot of time to ponder my thoughts and make sure I don't get overwhelmed. Best way I find to keep it tame is by taking care of little things every day to keep you sane." he hummed. "Like I said help or an ear to listen all you need to do is just drop it on me. Don't even worry about asking if its alright." he smiled to her. Not everyone was ready ask for help, often times considered the most important step, and for Kade he never felt like he had many around he could ask. So instead he was keeping an open door policy so wide, they may as well remove the proverbial door itself.

The blurry streak rushing over towards the sand on Gabriel's side of the 'court' caused panic to once more erupt within the young man. He had not expected the partial transformation from the other Weapon to generate such a vicious spike. Feet scrambled to find purchase against the shifting sand beneath them as the blond forced his body a step or two towards where he believed the blurry form of the ball would land. Though, the fuzzy, yet still very attractive form of Akron took care of the ball for Gabriel. Still, sound of the ball slapping against the long haired male's skin did bring out a wince of sympathy from Gabriel. That sounded like it hurt like bloody hell. Shamrock eyes glanced over the impacted skin with thinly veiled concern. It does not seem to bother him for now so, I suppose I will just try to enjoy the game. Gabriel hesitated a moment longer before turning his gaze towards the girls' side of the net for their potential return of the ball.

May 1st; Evening - Death City

“Is that her?” a male voice asked as he remained crouched on a rooftop.

“Yes, that’s her.” a higher toned female replied, glancing at her partner before looking at the target. “She’s the target. We cannot fail to retrieve her, you do know that, right?”

With a brief nod of his head, he returned his gaze to the person in question “Without her, we won't be able to do what needs to be done. She’s the key to it all.”

The pair had continued to go after the young girl, keeping themselves hidden upon the rooftops just before sliding into a dark alley to be met up with two other males; Who had worn the same black cloaks as the current pair, keeping them blended well within the night.

“We need to act within the next few minutes. She’ll be arriving at her destination soon.” said a male who was putting purple powder into his hand, some slipping between his fingers “If we fail this, the boss will have our heads for it.” He lifted his head and waited for the target. ”We all know that Elvena Stein is incredibly skilled in science. Much like Stein himself. Science runs in their blood and each generation seems to become more and more intelligent.” he informed his group, waiting as Elvy came into sight and without a second thought, he charged, slapping the palm of his hand into her face, purple dust shooting out everywhere and no doubtedly going into her airways if she had gasped from shock or surprise. “Good evening, Elvena. It’s dangerous to walk alone at night, don't you think?” he asked, watching her as she collapsed and quickly the group moved in to retrieve her.

---------------------------------A Few Hours Later-----------------------------------------------------

“When is she going to wake up?” asked a masked female, standing next to a taller figure who also had a mask on.

“The dust should be wearing off on her, but with the amount that was used, I’m not surprised she’s taking this long to awaken.” their voices were probably the only things she could hear at the moment, just before footsteps drew near and her head was lifted “You know, we’re very impatient Miss Stein. Please do wake up, we’re on a time limit here and I would love to get started.” When Elvy were to open her eyes and take a look at her surroundings, she was chained to a chair that had been bolted to the ground and her chains were tight enough to keep her in place. “We’ve heard about your special...Medical finds. Very Fascinating indeed! We’ve come to strike up a deal...Though you won't get much out of it.” said the man.

Those red hues seemed deadlier than ever as her eyes flashed open, immediately locking on the person who had the audacity to touch her. She had been awake for quite some time, simply listening, and trying to get an understanding of the situation or well predicament she seemed to have found herself in. Even without trying to struggle or move, it was apparent that her limbs had all been locked down. That was solidified by the fact that she could feel the metal tightly wound and digging into her porcelain skin. “ My scientific finds aren’t for sale. “ She spoke almost lazily and if completely uncaring as she allowed her gaze to fall off towards the floor. That was vastly more intriguing in her mind than the idiotic morons who kidnapped her. “ You’re all going to die, you know? “ The words came out a hushed whisper but the certainty behind them rang loud and clear.

Despite not being able to see the expression of the man, his tone was surprised “My my… Feisty are we?” he asked, straightening back up as he put his hands behind his back “The Stein twins do have some of that spice their grandfather had. Though, to a more extreme level.” The mask he had worn only made him seem more irritable for the current situation, but perhaps that’s why he wore the mask: To annoy his foes “You claim we’re going to die, but miss Stein, you’re in a predicament where you will be the one to die.” the masked man proclaimed as he stepped away. Only to stop a few feet ahead and spin on his heels to face her “You’ll give us what we want in due time. Please, reconsider your decision, we’ll be waiting.”

May 3rd- Mid Day - ????

1634346156655.png
Elvena could hear the door to her almost-empty room open once again, revealing a smaller masked female holding a tray of both food and water. Directly across from the Stein was a metal table which had also been bolted down to prevent it from being moved for any reason. The girl remained quiet while placing the tray upon the surface. This minion had been ordered to not talk to Elvy, and that’s exactly what she had done. The most she did was look at the pale girl sitting in that fairly uncomfortable chair. It had been two days since she had eaten or drank, which meant she was dehydrated and definitely lacking the nutrients to keep her running. Though she was sure that another meal would go to waste, due to her incredibly stubborn nature. The sounds of footsteps startled the girl, making her quickly rush out of the room, only to be replaced by the familiar masked figure. After all, he had visited every day, every few hours. Though without a clock, how could Elvy tell the time?

“Good day to you, Miss Elvena!” he said, his mask doing the smiling for him. “How are you feeling on this day? Have you changed your mind?” he asked, making his way swiftly to the table and leaning on it, one leg crossed upon the other “We surely don’t have all day. The others are just excited to see one of your best works! You’re the best of the best that is out there, of course, you’d know that.” he reached down toward the plate of food, plucking a small bread bun from the plate and shifting his mask just a little bit to take a bite, knowing that Elvy wouldn’t even bother to touch it. The funny thing about it all is that he knew what she had been planning. Both starving and dehydrating herself would free her from a situation like this. Which meant if she didn’t take it willingly soon...Things were going to get much worse for her. “I’ve heard that you haven’t eaten this wonderfully prepared food, nor had a sip of this remarkable, fresh, spring water.”

Elvena watched the girl enter the room as she had the day before and gazed at her with a growing disinterest as she scurried off. The suave freak with the mask came to ‘visit’ and like she had the first day, she let her hardened death glare peer straight through him, directly to the core of his soul. “ You know what the definition of insanity is? “ Elvena said with a small smile, pausing before continuing. “ It’s doing the same thing and expecting a different result. “ She let out an audible breath and looked down at the plate of food. “ From our short time together I’ve come to the conclusion that you are indeed crazy. And there is no way I’m allowing any of my research to fall into the hands of someone who is completely off their rocker. “ The gray haired Stein concluded with a matter’o fact nod. “ It’s a good thing you’re wearing a mask so you could hide the look of disgust that crossed your face when you took a bite of that food. It smells completely inedible. You’re really failing in selling it to me. “ She sounded more like Elias just then and that made her wonder a bit about everyone else. Had they come looking for her? How long was she going to be entertaining this psychotic masked weirdo who seemed hellbent on having some of her research. Frankly she wasn’t even sure which experiment he was so keen on learning about, since most of her more secretive happenings were the types of things she wouldn’t want falling into the wrong hands.

He put down the bun and dusted his hands off before pushing himself off the table and approaching her “Elvena, Elvena…” he said with a sigh “We’re all crazy in one way or another, after all, your heritage is filled with madness stemming from Stein himself.” stopping in front of her, his hands had been placed behind his back, this being a default stance for him. “All we want is your newest research! That magnificent pill that you created to help your brother, Elias, and that blonde girl...What was her name…” he turned away, placing a finger on his mask in thought before coming to realization “Ah! Drake! Alice Drake. Cute little thing isn’t she? Always trying to play the hero, but yet has to rely on those pills you prescribed for her just to control the one thing that all makes us the same.” he walked forward, letting out a small chuckle “You may be smart, Elvena Stein, but you’re going to realize one way or another that you are not the one in charge here.” spinning, he looked directly at her “We are; And eventually we will resort to measures that we would not like to approach.”

“ Alice? “ Elvena echoed, thoughts quickly circling in the forefront of her mind as she wondered why the hell she was being brought up. The pills? Why? Have they been watching me? Watching Alice? Elias? Are they being targeted too? The female Stein’s expression became extremely pernicious at the thought of someone going after her brother or a fellow classmate. Takeshi? She began to shake as an internal rage started to eat away at her soul, her thoughts consumed with a growing hatred. An animosity that immediately put the malice she felt for her father to shame. It was bad enough that she had been abducted off the streets and treated like some animal, though she was absolutely no stranger to this kind of situation. But possibly involving her partner or her brother was a line that she couldn’t forgive anyone for crossing. Your death just became more tortuous than I previously had imagined it. “ She said in an eerie voice, staring him dead on so that she could visualize all the different ways she would make him suffer once she got him strapped to the chair she occupied.

“If I die, then it was for a great cause. A great movement.” he proclaimed before approaching the door “Go ahead and think a little more, Miss Elvena. We’ll be waiting.” With that, he stepped out of the room, leaving her alone once again.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 10th - ???? - ????

Without warning, a metal door had been slammed open, waking a possibly sleeping Elvy in her chair “Oh Miss Elvena~” said the masked man in a sing-song voice. “It's time to get some liquids in you! I can't have you dying on me, or else many would have my head for letting the one and only die in a chair bolted to the floor.” behind him was a bigger framed man, clearly well built, as well as also possessing the same mask, though, his was a frowning face rather than a smiling one. “I took some time to… assess the food and prepare something that could be to your liking. I took your opinion into consideration and give you…” he reached his hand out next to him in hopes to grasp a metal cover that kept food warm, however, he found nothing but air. When he glanced over to see for himself, the girl that was supposed to be with him was not present. “Excuse me, it seems that we've encountered an issue.” He made his way out of the room, returning moments later with the plate that was still covered, and a new henchman. Though, there had been blood splattered upon his mask, as well as his gloves “Now, I give you, something on the simpler side, but also very filling and with the right cook to make it,” he took his free hand and pulled off the cover, revealing an actually decent looking bowl of oatmeal with a few blueberries on top and a spoon to go with it. The oatmeal itself had a brown sugar taste, hopefully Elvy would like it...Even if she didn't have a choice. “Brown Sugar Oatmeal with some blueberries. Now I've had it tested by our...Not so crazy members, and they say it tastes like home.” he nodded to the larger man who stood behind Elvy.

“Knowing that you won’t be eating on your own, we’ve decided to take methods into our own hands for the time being.” With the help of his newest henchman, the bloodied gloves were removed and he was able to use them to hold the bowl with one hand, while using the other to scoop up a spoonful of warm oatmeal. “Open wide Miss Stein.” without warning, the larger man behind her gripped her face, pushing his fingers enough into her cheeks to get her mouth to open. Despite her struggles, that man kept a firm grasp on her “It’ll hurt less if you stop squirming. I promise you.” as long as he didn't damage the goods, he could do what he could just to keep her alive. Taking the spoon, he force fed her while the man behind her also forced her mouth shut and closed her nose to force her to swallow the food “See, it’s not so bad at all. Gives the right fiber and nutrients you need to get you going pretty okay. Now, while we’re here, let’s talk about that newest experiment that you have currently active.~” though he’d do most of the talking while he force fed her food.

“What you’ve concluded, what you’ve noted about it, what could be a possible issue with it. Obviously, you could answer later or, in between feeding you. Your choice.” Once she took that second gulp down, the man released her, giving her a moment to speak in any way that she’d like.

Elvena watched the happenings around the room and remained completely frigid as the bigger man approached her, her inability to utterly destroy and tear these people apart starting to drive her a little crazy. If Takeshi were here… The thought was cut off as she was suddenly grabbed. His callous disgusting fingers pinched at her skin and a grimace crossed her features, eyes squeezing shut as the food was shoved into her mouth. Nothing about it even registered. The taste of the food, the texture of it. She simply fought and struggled not to swallow the sludge. It was going well until they closed her nose up and she was forced to inhale it just so she could breathe. Her body was wracked into a coughing fit, face slumping out of view as her hair shaded her darkening expression from the group. “ Let. Me. Go. So I can send you straight to hell. “ She spat out venomously as she lifted her head, making sure to let some of the oatmeal that hadn’t made its way down her throat spew all over his mask. It was all starting to come together, what exactly this group wanted. The only thing she couldn’t comprehend was the ‘why’ aspect of it. The pills were meant to keep madness at bay and she highly doubted that was their main goal. They didn’t seem the type to cure the world. No. There was something far more sinister at play and she had a feeling they would show some of their cards real soon if she continued to defy them. Those eyes slid to a close once more as she drowned out the world, letting her mind wander to another place to escape. Anywhere but here. And then she located it; Takeshi’s soul. And whether she was aware of it or not, a smile of sorts spread across her face as she simply focused all of her attention on that familiar and beautiful soul. This would be her saving grace in the many days to come.

After she had threatened them, the torture of eating kept going till there was nothing left in the bowl. Later on, it would be the water to prevent her from dehydration. Surely that was going to be an even bigger struggle when they got to it.

May ?? - ??? - ????

More time had gone by, making it almost impossible to tell whether it was day or night. As well as what day it was. Stein had still been in the same predicament since the first night she was brought, since then she has been force fed, forced to drink, and continuously asked about her experiment on the one and only Alice. A knock on the door, followed by that familiar male voice made itself known “Miss Elvena, we decided to bring you a gift that you might enjoy.” he said, opening the door with a loud creak “Come on in,” the words had paused as someone else walked in as well, revealing someone all too familiar.

A present? Whatever this deranged man has in store I’m sure is nothing close to actually being considered a pre-- Her thoughts came to an immediate halt upon seeing her classmate enter the room. Alice Drake. Those eyes narrowed tremendously as she analyzed the girl in front of her, even switching her soul perception on to indeed confirm that the lady was actually Alice and not some trick being played on her mind. It was undeniably Alice but at the same time it wasn’t. There was madness leaking out of her soul, entrapping it, and it felt so overwhelming that it caused Elvena to have flashbacks of her childhood. There had been a similar feeling and aura back then too from none other than her father. Did I do this? She asked herself, just watching the girl for any hint of the Alice she knew to which she found none besides the resemblance.

“Miss Alice.”
XStJRqGEKUNN-2dJ4yEZjOTWMNWWwQ95TnRNGOqGP54ug7RA3li46PQHNjPEIsJnNPbB7acSEhRPhKsCqDexFECLFRY2lHkyT_wvmq5TiQyyegVx2ZZd6R1srn7tZsHbGxp328W1=s0

Alice walked in, the color of her eyes different from the wonderfully emerald ones, her attire that was almost like a dark mistress, followed by that sinister smirk upon her face “I finally get to meet you face to face, Elvy!” the way that Elvy’s name left her lips was almost taunting. “How could you do that to me? Putting me to sleep with those awful homemade pills of yours?” she said as she hugged herself with a (clearly fake) sad expression. After that, she practically skipped over, her dress bouncing with her before stopping to stand in front of her “Those pills did wonders after Alice had run out though, I will admit… Gave me a boost as she began to lose her mind at an overwhelming rate! I knew there was something different about them this time around.” she released a sinister giggle as she stepped away, holding her arms out “The first day I started to awaken, was in the moment of her fighting that weird meister who split into four people.” she glanced over her shoulder “Alice knew I was starting to wake up, that’s why she fled so quickly and remained unsettled for the rest of the day. I haunted her dreams, and began to torment her. The next morning, she started to show signs of addiction without those pills...Oh did I forget to mention? She left them back at home by accident.” she laughed and dropped her arms as she placed them on her hips “No one noticed poor little Alice suffering without those pills. Not even her own weapon partners.” she scoffed “Always trying to play the hero. It’s so obnoxious.”

“As you can see, Miss Elvena,” said the masked man “We retrieved Alice here as a gift to you. We figured that since she was your first ever experiment with the new pill, you’d be proud to see how far she’s come.” despite having the mask, his own evil grin began to grow “She’s also agreed to become your little partner in crime.”

The blonde rolled her eyes as she went back up to Elvy, taking a strand of that white hair and gently threading it between her fingers “Being around you gives me an amazing feeling, you know that Elvy?” she asked, “This madness that radiates off you is almost exhilarating~ That’s why we’d make perfect partners!” mockingly, she pouted and puffed her cheeks “Poor little Elvy has been stuck here for days without a proper bath. You’re not so friendly, are you now?” she asked the masked figure who shrugged. “In due time maybe she can get a bath~ Maybe we can even wash each other's hair, how does that sound?” as Alice asked, she cupped Elvy’s chin, giving her a childish grin. “Sounds fun, riiiiight?”

Elvena continued to watch the other meister with a heightened suspicion but she listened intently to every word. She didn’t care much for the tone behind any of them but the words themselves painted the exact picture she had been oblivious to. The missing puzzle piece, so to speak, was now being put in place. She had to refrain from exclaiming out as it all clicked in her brain, the cogs smoothly turning as Alice kept opening her mouth and spewing out all the information she’d been hoping to know. I only changed one chemical compound. That was it. Who knew it would lead to this hostile takeover so quickly. Alice should’ve just reverted back to how it used to be before the pills, but this? I accelerated the madness in her. No, I made her go crazy… like a drug addict going into withdrawal. Elvena was both excited and horrified by this realization. The mad scientist in her, kudos to the mental state most Stein’s shared, was enthralled to have made a new discovery of such magnitude. And the other part of her that wasn’t gripped by that familial persona felt almost remorseful, or the closest thing she could feel to sympathy. She’d created a weapon that her enemies could use on a mass scale yet it was as minuscule as a pill. Easy to distribute and spread. Worse yet, they’d discovered what she had done before she had. There was no cure to speak of right now.

Elvena’s gaze softened immensely as she watched the theatrics that seemed all too familiar to her. She didn’t flinch as her hair was touched but instead she just smiled as hauntingly as the tone Alice had been using. Partners? She let the hilarious statement roll around in her thoughts, the idea of anyone other than Takeshi being her partner in any regard something she found extremely amusing. So that smile only widened, tugging at her lips, though the true reason behind it would be unknown to those watching her. I might not understand how to truly be around people but I know enough to act like it. “ This side of you is certainly eccentric and you know how I feel about those kinds of things, I’m sure. It’s the most inviting welcome I’ve received yet since being here. “ As Elvena spoke she cast her gaze over to the masked man, giving him a cold stare down. “ You sure you’d want to do that? “ She asked in a quizzical voice, tilting her head ever so slightly. “ I do have a lot of hair. It would take quite some time, unless you think they would be willing to give us some extra time. I’m not sure that buzzkill over there would allow such a thing, even if I were to promise to be on my best behavior. “ She scrunched her lips up to the side as if suddenly filled with disappointment at the idea of not being granted extra time with this chaotic side of Alice. How did Lewd or Hitomi not notice this change in her? Did it just progress that rapidly? But still, those were her weapon partners, they should’ve felt that something was amiss before anyone else.

The masked man watched the girls, knowing that this Alice was more than capable of watching herself “I’ll be returning shortly. You two will have some time to bond in the meantime.” With that said, he departed and made sure to close the door behind him.

“ So what was it like? Resurfacing? And why are you listening to these people? Speaking of ‘these people’, who exactly are they? What’s in it for you? Is Alice watching everything? “ She began to slew out questions the moment they were alone, that innate desire to know more definitely showing. I need to find a way to escape.

After the masked man left, she gave Elvy her full and undivided attention, taking in every question and bringing her finger to her chin in thought “So many questions, perhaps desperation. I guess Alice really was your first ever experiment. That’s sad, knowing she trusted you and all you did was use her like a rat in a cage.” she remarked as she took a seat in front of Elvy on the floor, looking up at the chained Stein “Resurfacing? I’ve done it before, plenty of times when I was younger. Though, it feels stronger than ever, but that’s because of you and that madness you radiate. It's like a moth to a flame.” She placed her hands on Elvy’s knees, avoiding the chains as she rested her chin on one of the said-covered knees. “Why and who are these people? I’m listening to them because they have a fantastic plan that I could get behind. But I wouldn’t tell you what it is~ That’d be cheating.” she lifted her free hand and tried to boop Elvy before placing it back down. “I don't know who they are. But I like them. The chaos, the madness… Ooo it’s just so exciting!” she wanted chaos, she loved to see the world burn.

“Alice can see, but she’s currently chained up in her own little world…” Alice released a noise that almost sounded like a ‘teehee’ “There are times where I’d like to kill her...But watching her suffer and no longer be in control is even more thrilling. Hearing her cries and pleas are just the tip of the iceberg for me~” she closed her golden eyes in content, letting out a small hum before opening them once more to gaze up to Elvy’s crimson gems. Clearly, she had made sure to leave some of her questions to the abyss rather than answer them.

“ Desperation? “ She repeated, tilting that head even further to the side. “ Mm, I don’t think I’m at that point yet. What’s sad is that you truly believe that I used her. My intentions were made pretty clear but I suppose the translation of that got lost somewhere along the way in your mind. Perhaps that would make you the first experiment and not Alice, no? “ Elvena mused aloud, peering down at the girl by her feet. Her other half found that quite fitting but she kept that to herself. The madness I radiate? She either means the lure of my black blood or my troublesome wavelength. “ I’ve learned that it is quite dangerous. You know what happens to a moth's wings when it gets too close to fire? Would you like a demonstration? “ The Stein was growing tiresome of being in captivity. Fed up with being torn from Takeshi, and irritated that someone was minutely toeing the line of looking down their nose at her with the way they thought they could toy with her. She was no mouse. Nor was she the cat. Elvena was higher up the food chain and she was well aware of this fact. “ And it is rather counter productive that you won’t share the so-called genius plan with the mastermind behind it all. I guess we can’t all be blessed with a brilliant way of thinking. “

She listened to the rest of the blonde girl’s answers and gave her a rather deadpan look in response. “ What a relief to know you’re not suicidal. “ She didn’t offer any elaboration, just a continuous gaze that lingered on Alice’s contorted expression. “ I will admit I didn’t peg you as the type to team up with such a mundane group. I figured you’d have a much grander vision you wanted to play out but I’ve been wrong before. I’m learning so many new things today, it’s definitely such a treat for my brain. “

It was clear that Alice didn’t care about Elvy’s opinions about her thoughts, even the threat she decided to toss in her direction. “Why be suicidal when I could be the one causing suffering? It’s no fun wanting to die all the time you know~” the blonde tapped her fingers on the other female’s knee “You fail to notice how big this group is, Little Elvy. There’s so much more that you have yet to discover.” she smirked “From what you told me, learning new things is a treat for you. So this should be another treat for you: To figure out just what they’re about.”she began to draw circles upon the exposed skin of her leg “You also have no idea what I’m capable of. You’re just seeing me in my down time right now~.”

“ You’re right. Your death wouldn’t cause any suffering so you might as well stay alive and spread misery that way. That indeed makes so much more sense. Thank you for clearing that up. “ Elvena smiled so widely that her eyes came to a close, her canines slightly exposed. “ I don’t need to know what you’re capable of to know that I could eat you alive, Alice. “

May ?? - ??? - ????

“Eeelllvvvyyyy~” said a soft voice, “Elllvyyy, c’mon wake up~” the tone was familiar, but ominously soft. When she were to open her eyes, she’d notice it was Alice, who was holding a glass in her hand. “I heard you weren’t drinking too much, so I decided to get you one myself. It’s just water, nothing crazy” she gave her a smile, though it wasn't filled with warmth, or even joy much like Alice’s. Noticing the look on her face, she released an annoyed sigh “Why are you giving me that look? Do you really think I’d be dumb enough to try something so obvious on you?” just with the look alone, Alice knew that she wouldn't even dare try to drink the liquid unless it was forced, just like her food. Elvy was smart, but she wasn’t the one who could call the shots. All in all, she is the one chained to a chair that kept her in place “You’re really going to make drinking water a hassle.” All she could think of are the times when Alice herself defied anything that she said, always ending in the result of being mentally tormented. A punishment that Alice deserved. In one swift movement, her hand tightly grabbed her jaw as she looked over the Stein “I’m nothing like those masked guys out there, little Elvy. I won't continue to ask to do ‘this’ or ‘that’ for us. I will make you do what I want you to do. ”

“ I’m pretty positive you’re wearing a mask just like they are, Alice. “ That was all the woman offered as a rebuke, managing to smile despite the tight grip on her jaw.

It was clear that she was growing extremely impatient. “You’re holding back a movement that’ll change the world, and you’re here dilly dallying like it’s some kind of game.” ripping her hand away aggressively, she snapped her fingers and the man who had stood outside the door had walked in. It was the same largely fit man who walked over “I’m tired of being nice. Now I want to watch you squirm like the little rat you are.” she nodded to the man who grabbed Elvy much as he did when feeding her, forcing her mouth open. “It’s time to tell you what to do. No more of this asking bullshit that these guys like to play.” Leaving those words to the wind, she began to pour the liquid little by little into her mouth, the masked man doing the work for her in keeping her still and making her drink. “See, I’d tell you that no one is coming to your aid, but seeing that...Vile relationship between you and your partner, you wouldn't believe me.” which irritated her, but knowing what was inside the drink, made by the person behind it all, she’d be able to toy with her much like a cat would with a mouse.

The fact that Alice was resorting to forcing her to drink whatever was in the cup only solidified her suspicion that it wasn’t just water, otherwise she would’ve let sleeping demons lay. Instead she was stirring up a whole new concoction of horror that Elvena, despite being as unattached as she was from the world around her, would never be prepared for. She coughed and sputtered on the liquid that tainted her being, the metallic taste immediately giving her a faint idea as to what was happening. They’re trying to drug me. Though she had zero clue as to the potency or the effects, no. This was witch crafted, corrupted with magic. Homemade. Elvena knew all about those kinds of projects and normally they erred on the inhumane side. Vile relationship. Those words stirred up a lot of feelings that she couldn’t quite place, perhaps the first time she’d been moved by anything that had been said since she had arrived. “ He’s coming. “ Elvena said in her normal haunting tone, her words stalwart and full of an unwavering confidence. He’ll always find me. That would be the last coherent thought she would have as her reality started to warp and bend.

“If he was coming, he would have been here by now, Stein! Open those damn eyes of yours!” she threw the glass to the side of the room, caring not if it shattered. “I’ve watched, I’ve seen, you’re not the only one who observes around here.” tilting her head a little, she grabbed her face and noticed the immediate effects it was starting to take on her. Well would you look at that. Look who's the drugged one now~ she almost laughed aloud as she moved her hand “Look at this Alice…” she muttered “Your poor little friend is tied up just like you are… How wonderful! You both could suffer the same way. Though, I can't inflict wounds on this one. So she’s spared from the pain I want to cause. Double time for you then~” she smirked as she waved off the large man “Bring him in, it’s time.” While the masked man began to do his work, Alice began to walk circles around Elvy, fingertips brushing her shoulders, as well as threading through her hair. Nothing else had left her lips but the sounds of humming.

Everything was beginning to fade in and out, Alice’s voice picking up and lowering in tenor as if someone was messing with a volume switch and drastically forcing it to change. And then there was her circling which started to speed up, making it feel like the girl was racing around her at breakneck speeds. Elvena blinked a few times, clearly mentally struggling to comprehend her surroundings as everything she looked at started to shift and change, taking on the appearance of random things.

Moments later, a young male was brought in and bound by the hands. The reason for this was because he was someone who was already making his way to the Kishin life, and no one wanted to deal with a rampant murderous killer who wanted nothing but that power from human souls. Though, to Elvy, this man should look nothing like what he actually looked like, in fact, it should look exactly like those who she held dearest to her heart. “As a Stein, you haven’t done much, you’ve just thought about how smart you are, how dumb we are...But are we really dumb when we can do something like this?” she gestured to the man who was forced a few feet in front of her onto the ground. “After all, they’ve found me, they caught you, and they’ve caught him.” coming up next to her, she wrapped one arm around her shoulders and pointed to the male. “How does it feel to be wrong, Elvy?”

“ Elias? “ Elvena managed to question in a hushed voice, a great amount of disbelief hanging in her words as she used all her willpower to focus on the bound man in front of her. The drugged haze completely obscured the truth and the best she could do was try to keep her head above water and not be dragged down to drown in the heavy effects of it. The room was spinning, no, it was tilting. Sinister faces lined the walls, giddy and grinning, some crying, some maniacally laughing. Her face began to mimic some of the expressions, lips curving and turning, whilst tears ran down her cheeks, trying to alternate between copying the faces she was seeing at inhuman speeds. Even her soul perception was failing her now, everything she saw through it looked like walls bleeding all around her, pooling into nothingness beneath her feet. “ This, this, this, this, this, this, this… “ Each word had her head jerking to the side, brain resetting itself the more she tried to speak. “ Can’t. Can’t. Can’t. Cannot. Can. Not. Can… be E-E-E-E-Elias. “ The erratic movements only increased and continued with every attempt to get something out, her consciousness struggling immensely to vie with the drugs swimming through her system.

The blonde was happy with the response that was given, in fact, it gave her just the right amount of information to do what she had planned to do. “Capturing him wasn’t easy, especially with his little girlfriend around. A stubborn one isn’t he? Much like you. But stubbornness can only get you so far before it leads you into a situation like this.” removing herself from Elvy, it was abundantly clear that the effects of the potion were maybe a bit too strong. Remaining silent, she moved over to the male, looking down at him as he looked up at her “He’s so handsome, but he has such a temper on him.” she began to run her fingers through his hair before she clenched the strands, pulling on them roughly to yank his head back “The madness he has hidden within him is also thrilling. Oh how I would love to get a taste of that too.” she leaned down, using her other hand to gently caress his cheek “What should I do to him first? He doesn’t possess black blood...which means I can do whatever I please...What do you think, Elias?” she asked, but got nothing in return but a scowl. Slowly but surely she began to dig her nails into the skin upon his face “So tell me, Elvy, would you like this the hard way, or the easy way? Cause I can assure you this will get increasingly worse. This is just the beginning of the horrors you’re going to relive once again.” she warned, glancing over at the female Stein.

Elvy continued to stare at the blonde who resembled her brother, the world distorted around her combined with the drugs in her system starting to make her nausea. “ You know nothing of the horrors we’ve been through. “ She spat out, gaze flicking to settle on the woman grasping her brother as if he were just a plaything. The both of them had been through worse, much worse, than to allow the taunting of some knockoff costumed up girl do them in. “ You know why you want a taste, Alice? Because you have no idea what real unhinged madness really tastes like. “ Elvena’s words slurred out but they were still laced with an intent that even the observant Alice would be unable to pick up on due to the drugged state mixing into them. “ If I wanted the world to be coated in madness I could easily do it. But I don’t. And I won’t. Elias and I fight for what we believe in and we vowed to never be like our father, so it’s safe to conclude that we are doing this the hard way. “ She let her drowsy gaze fall to the ground, watching it slosh around like water, a liquid at her feet that was daring to swallow her whole.

Alice rolled her eyes and removed her hand away from Elias’s scratched face “Yeah yeah, keep telling me about unhinged madness. Blah blah blah.” she said while doing a dismissive wave “See, it’s boring when you’re trying to play this “Oh I wanna be better than my parents ever were.” act. Give me a break, Elvy. Embrace what you have, revel in the power that madness could give you! Who cares about what others say, or think? I know about those clowns you absorbed like a sponge… You can be unstoppable.” she glanced down at Elias and sighed, shaking her head knowing that convincing would not work anymore “Guess she chose the hard way for you buddy.” she slammed her hand on his back in a rough pat before nodding to the large man “Let’s get him on the table, chain him down and let’s start this, shall we? Oh! Bring my tools as well!”

Even after just an hour or so, Alice found herself growing bored of the torture. What was the point of it if she wasn’t going to react? With a sigh, the blonde looked down at the man who was tied to the table, bleeding, exhausted and clearly wanting the pain to stop. “Two can play at this Elvy. Can you do me a favor big guy and get me those pills? I’m going to amp up the process a bit more here. It’s getting boring and I’d like to have my partner in crime already so we can get this show on the road.” with that said, she took the knife that was within her set and jabbed it right into the man's chest as he let out a blood curling scream before finally dying upon the table “And uh, get this cleaned up. I’m done playing with Elias here. We can feed his body to the beasts or something. His soul can go to a kishin.”

May ?? - ??? - ????

After a couple of more days, Alice had been feeding Elvy her madness pills, trying to speed up the process by making Stein feel the withdrawal symptoms. The blonde taunted her, asking how it felt to be an experiment with her own pill. How it felt to be used for something other than her smarts? For the past few days, she remained close by Elvy’s side, almost as if she was continuously bathing in the madness radiating off of her and waiting for her to explode like a ticking time bomb.

Elvena stood in her headspace, dark waters past her knees as she trudged through it. She found resistance even then, trying to tredge and navigate the jumbled bog that had become her thoughts and memories. You better behave. Even if it hadn’t been audible, it had most certainly been heard by the more sinister being in the room. A wicked smile spread, glowing in the pitch black that veiled a side of the area. Elvena was more than aware of her black blood demon who had been watching her. Watching her grip on her sanity lessen, watching her grasp on any remaining consciousness slowly fading into nothing. It wasn’t a hostile takeover, in a way it was more or so switching out who was driving for the time being. “ You know I’m all about pulling the strings, I don’t fancy getting my hands dirty. Ryu doesn’t call me Hime for no reason. “ The white haired counterpart of Elvy stepped into the light, bearing an almost identical appearance with just a few touches that made them able to be told apart. It was subtle at first, the twitching of Elvena’s lips and tired expression slowly filling with a new life. The aura around her began to change, madness starting to pulse off of her in waves, immediately affecting anyone in the vicinity.

“ I’m so thrilled I can hardly contain myself. “ Her tone and voice had drastically changed to a more childish one, those crimson eyes deepening to mimic the color of the blood still splattered on the floor in front of her, eyes rising to settle on Alice’s face. “ When does the show begin? “ She inquired, peering around at the dreary scenery with an unimpressed face.

A smirk of her own began to make it's way onto the blondes lips, emeralds meeting those dark crimson gems “It starts when you’re ready~” she said in a sing song voice while shuddering at the feeling of that increasing madness. Moving closer to her, she cupped her cheek “We can get you out of these chains and into a nice bath. Whatever you’d like before we get started.” shifting behind her, she began to work on the chains “Do you have a name you’d like to go by?” asked Alice as one chain after another began to loosen up. The excitement welling up within her, knowing that chaos was going to ensue so quickly and so drastically that they’d both have a splendid time watching the world crumble.

“ I’m always ready to sit back and watch the world burn. “ The chains slinked off her limbs and fell with a loud clang upon the floor. “ You can call me Hime, it was a name given to me by someone who loves pandemonium, so it’s a name that I’d like to keep since I didn’t have one before. “ The comment about the bath made her tilt her head, those stained and dirty strands of hair swaying into her vision to allow her crimson eyes to glow through them like beacons. “ A bath? No no no. “ She whispered, voice dropping so low that it was barely audible. “ My griminess only adds to the dramatics of everything. It’ll stir some emotions to see me in this state, don’t you think? “ Her gaze dropped down to her torn attire and unkempt skin, that smile wicked and somehow perpetually growing. Even though she’d been chained to that chair for a few weeks, it didn’t show in her movements as she stood and stretched out, yawning like she’d just woken from a slumber of sorts. “ Shall we? “ She asked, increasing the madness radiating off her simply for shits and giggles. It felt good to be untethered, knowing she could destroy someone’s mind and sanity without even lifting a finger. Lackadaisical yet gratifying.

TL; DR

From May 1st to the 22nd Elvy has been missing, 18th to the 22nd Alice has been missing as well (Both girls are still currently missing as of this post.). During this time, Elvy was kidnapped and brought to an undisclosed location where she was tortured, forced to eat, forced to drink, and was neglected. On the 18th of May, Alice was brought in, bringing Elvy to realize that by changing the Madness pills just a bit, had caused the blonde to not only get addicted to the pills like a drug addict, but it also caused her madness to spike when gone without those pills for a short time. Alice drugged Elvy with a potent potion that was made, causing her to get drugged and shortly after used the last of her madness pills to invoke Elvena’s madness demon from within. After that, the pair finally teamed up, both absorbed in their madness and also willing to watch the world burn and turn to chaos. They were a feared team within the facility due to their skills and smarts.

The date was currently May 23rd, and things within the academy have been morally low. With the disappearance of two DWMA students, the school has been on high alert. Missions have been canceled for the class and 1 star meisters, all while placing them on curfew and monitoring their movements outside the academy. They weren’t allowed to leave the city for any reason whatsoever. The 2-3 star meisters have been tasked with maintaining order and focusing on the missions below 1-star and up. That left the DWMA Central Intelligence Agency with the job to locate the missing meisters. There’s suspicion of a witch being behind it all, so it’s their job to find counter-measures around this possible threat. The agency has sent meisters and weapons around the U.S. to find these students before it’s too late.

Professor Armstrong, Juri, and Ikora have been tasked with monitoring the well-being of the EAT class students and making sure nobody acts out of impulse and runs off on their own. Hitomi and Llewellyn have been cooperative and calm; however, Takeshi was a much bigger problem for the professors to keep calm. His protectiveness and loyalty to Elvena has caused him to ignore all rules and go for a search all on his own. Hearing the news, Lord Death has attached to Takeshi one of his Death Scythes and top Meister to keep him from leaving by force if he has to. On this day, the students all gather in the courtyard of the academy. The professors thought a break from the classroom would be of some help to their moods, sadly they were wrong. A burst of madness wavelength erupted from the center of Death City, causing dark clouds to cover the once sunny clear skies. This was a high level madness wavelength, layered described as Madness of Chaos. Those weak to madness would cause people to lean towards their chaotic ways and bring nothing but violence, anger, and strife wherever they go. This form of madness may even affect some of the students who haven't built up a resistance towards madness wavelengths. Those students too will succumb to the wavelength giving into their chaotic side. Those with an Anti-demon or even healing wavelength would be able to help the others in this situation.

Looking down at the city, the students and professors could hear screams and violence breaking out from within. Ikora, who was unfazed by this level of madness, turned towards the students. She was quickly processing the situation trying to figure out the correct plan of action. The DWMA was already spread thin and this situation made it worse.” Those who can withstand this wavelength, go out within the city and protect the civilians from one another. I will be frank with you, there may be some who have already succumbed deep to the wavelength and may have started the kishin process. Use your soul perception and depict the kishin eggs from the human souls. I will not have innocent blood spilt tonight by you students!! Those with healing and anti-demon wavelengths stay close to the students who need your help. Spread your wavelength over them and help them!” As she spoke, the screams of chaos were getting louder. There were even signs of smoke rising from fires happening within the city.

After giving out her orders, she received a message, informing her that what’s happening here was also happening within a variety of different locations. One of those being Rue’s home kingdom. Ikora passes this information on to Juri, who quickly pulls Rue off to the side explaining what’s happening. With the information, Rue decided to take J(ay) and head to her kingdom to protect it. Juri and other meister/weapon partners accompanied Rue on this trip.

Ikora looks back towards the students. “Alright what the hell are you all waiting for. I know for a fact some of you can withstand this weak ass wavelength. Get your asses moving and protect this city!!” She commands as her voice thunders throughout the city.
