I noticed that you have the stats for the CVR-1 armor on your sheet. You can go ahead and upgrade that to the CVR-3 to give everyone some more survivability outside your mecha.

Hey Sherwood! I am wondering, for my Jack of Many Trades Aptitude, can I pick a different MOS than the ones available to me in the UEEF Marines book? I am looking at either the Special Forces/Espionage or Marine MOS from the Shadow Chronicles book under the Military Specialist OCC.

Yes, I'll let you tweak your sheet to change it to have one of those other MOS packages.

I'm tempted to ask for the same deal since marine MOS's are far shorter.

However I'm already pretty amazing, I have a +17 parry in my cyclone, I don't plan to ever leave it.

Yeah, that 32 you have in your PP is awesome. That is a real help in getting those numbers up.

Rykon Rykon and D. Rex D. Rex You two need to hustle on your sheets if you want to have your characters start with the rest of the party. I am hoping to have our IC thread start on Monday.

Alright, so when I noticed I couldn't take A.I. as an OCC related skill due to categories, I had to do some shuffling. That said I think the setup and tentative progression planned looks pretty interesting by my reckoning. Starship Engineering and Demolitions being key picks that will take a little time to get into.

Edit: Sherwood Sherwood I'm seeing some weird stuff with the Combat Engineer MOS. The first oddity was the skill Fortification. I assumed that was the same as Military Fortifications, which I have an overlap with. That's fine. What I can't find is Protoculture Engineer. I can't find any description for that skill. Is there one in another one of the books or should we perhaps substitute something else in?

Protoculture Engineer is located in the Electrical skills section.

Alright, thanks to that, I've just got to roll a few final bonuses from skills and hit points then I'm good to go.

Hey Rykon Rykon . I was looking at your stats, and I think you are shorting yourself on your PP. Jeet Kun Do gives a +3 bonus, and you only have it recorded as a +2. That one point may come in handy, so don't forget it!

Alrighty. Going to try to start looking at things here soon. Might not be done by the time the game starts though. Not much time to work in it on my weekend despite being done with the busy spell.

Though gonna see if I can at least pick an OCC and MOS.

Sherwood Sherwood
Has comms been taken yet?

D. Rex D. Rex
I took Veritech Pilot (Recon-Alpha) and Combat Engineer, among the other characters in our unit, I see a STORM Commando, Military Specialist, and Mechanized Infantry OCCs, with Intelligence Specialist, Marine, Marine Commando, and I'm a bit confused on Mirgris's MOS(s) but they seem to be piloting focused.

So long story short, comms doesn't appear to have been taken at this time.

D. Rex D. Rex As has been said to me before by Dannigan, do not try and make up a character to fit into the party, but instead, make one that you want to play and have fun with. One way or another, we will be fine with this team.

Mirgris's MOS(s)

I have three, long and short of it, I can pilot anything and everything.
Tanks, cars, space craft, alpha, betas, hover tanks, cyclones, etc etc.

Also I'm quite good in combat, that's what I do. I kill things in whatever armor or weapons I have/can get.

Yeah I made sure I have the skills on deck to work on power armors and automation robots. I hope we'll get to have some fun with custom support equipment. Especially if we get a chance to make salvaging a thing.

I hope you do, the reason I choose not to, was because I couldn't find rules for it, but sherwood seems pretty cool, so we will see.

Same. My hope is we could jury rig some field repair and diagnostic drones. Similar in function, somewhat, to astromech droids in Starwars.

I have a few things on my chore list from my wife to do, but otherwise, I plan on starting up our IC thread later on today.
