The Entity is gone.
No one knows how or why, but there is a distinct knowing that is shared among the Survivors and the Killers.
The Entity is not present.
It can be felt in a lack of weight in the air, viewed as oppressive by some, while viewed as a comfort to others. More obviously, however, the Entity no longer appears to torment survivors who have been placed on a hook.
The Trials, once constant in their monotony, have begun to shift. Killers loyal to the Entity try to continue the game. Perhaps more and more sacrifices will bring the Entity back. Killers who were dragged into the realm of the Entity without their consent see an opening where there has never been one before. A chance at escape.
The Survivors are divided themselves. Some are looking for a means of returning to their home. Others see an opening for a chance at greater power within this realm.
Whoever or whatever you are, the stage has tilted, perhaps in your favor, perhaps not. Who will you be as the once structured realm of the Entity begins to shift and contort on itself? But more importantly, who will you become?

This roleplay takes place in the realm of the Entity, though it can scarcely be called that anymore, what with the Entity's sudden absence. The restrictions of the Trials canon to the game Dead by Daylight are changing. Multiple Killers are appearing in the same Trial at times, while in others, there is no Killer to be seen.
The roleplay will focus less on the core mechanics of the game and more on the lore associated with each Survivor and Killer, and what each of their roles will be in this "civil war." The main conflict is between Killers and Survivors who want to escape the realm of the Entity opposing those Killers and perhaps even Survivors who want to maintain the structured order of the Trials.
