Some friends/people stumble upon a portal in the middle of a forest. They go through it and find themselves in the demon world. They come across a demon who offers them food which they reluctantly accept. The demon however had the intent to eat them. Luckily, they are saved by another demon. However they learn that hadn't they eaten the food offered to them, they could have left the demon world easily. Having eaten food from the demon world they are basically trapped in the demon world and getting back home will be extremely hard. Since demons love eating humans, the demon who saved them takes them under her wing as a "sponsor". It is pretty much being adopted to be protected. Now they have to get acquainted to living in the demon world which includes going to school and working here. Will they every be able to return home or will the demon world end up being their preferred home instead?
Setting: Demon world: The demon world is not a pit of fire or some dark cavern. Rather it seems almost like a parallel world. Most places the sky is blue and the nights are moonlit by two moons. Some places have red skies and dark nights. Overall the weather is pretty warm, subtropical to tropical. Demons generally wear a little less, because it feels like summer the entire year. Outside established roads it can be dangerous, not only for humans.
