The world has plundered into chaos. Nobody knows how or when, but it's been aproximately one-thousand years since discord has taken the world captive. The only history mankind knows is there was a pulse scattered throughout the Earth then shrouded in darkness. From that day forth, half of humanity along with animals has been wiped out leaving only fifty percent of the population and declining for survival. The conditions have become adaptable to the new generation, forced to revert to a post-apocalyptic, steampunk era with uknown diseases spread worldwide. Earth is no longer a safe with ferocious creatures lurking around marking their territories. Such critters far too dangerous to face by one's self without allies, weapons or magic.
The shift in balance has caused so many problems to arise. Mutation, horrific monsters rule to outskirts, diseases, and lack of light. Light is a myth to the new generation. There is no sun, only cloudy days, always raining or not. It's every gothic dream except more miserable. Adventurous people have traveled around the world searching for answers to no avail. The decrease in humans have forced the government to set their foot down and create order thus creating facilities, as if that wasn't worse, humans forced to obey or thrown out to die. The world has turned to madness. Are you strong enough to live in it?

General: You're trapped in a facility out of free will or by brute force. You have powers or smarts. You will go on a journey to help find the source of the sun's banishment. Along the way there is a 50/50 percent chance you can die from monsters or an illness. There will be obstacles along the way.Rules:
- You have the choice to be a different species as a cause of mutation as long as it's humanoid. The choices are: Elves, dwarves, Vampiris (Vampire featurs with pointy ears, minus the craving for blood), of course human, hybrid/ mutant (pm me), wizards/witches
- No god modding/ mary sues
- You may have powes as long as they are reasonable. I will allow 2 abilites
- Any flying contraption does not exist for reasons and future references
- Clothes can be modern with tears it doesn't matter your choice
