Victoria used to be described as out an outgoing free-spirit who was above all else, kind and compassionate. She always looked for a chance to help people, even if it was only in some small way. She was also very hard working, always trying to do her best and make the people who believed in her proud. Victoria hasn't been like that since the virus though. She has become a survivor. She no longer trust others, viewing every interaction with suspicion, or at best, a potential business transaction. In her mind, helping people for free now is just a good way to end up dead. She has also started drinking to cope with the horrors of this new world, which can make her irrational and give her a short fuse at times.
Bio:
Victoria was an army brat for most of her life, moving from place to place often due to her father's career. Her mother had died when she was just two years old, leaving just her and her father to take care of each other. Unlike most kids in similar circumstances, she didn't act out to get attention for the brief time she was at a new school, nor did become introverted and decide not to even bother trying. Instead, she tried to make her time in each new town special by forming unforgettable memories. For example, during her sophomore year of high school in a town in Florida, Victoria was able to organize a school-wide game of Humans vs. Zombies. One of her favorite things as a child was when her father was stationed in a town where they could go hunting during the fall.
Victoria eventually began applying to colleges, hoping to become a nurse. She did well during her first year, earning a 3.85 GPA and making plenty of new friends. She was in the school's nursing program when the virus started to spread, turning people into monsters. Many of her friends ended up dying as a result, but Victoria survived. She was able to gather weapons and supplies and hunker down in her apartment near the hospital. Whether it was because of survivor's guilt, terror at what the world had become, or a simple wish to forgot what happened during those early days and stop the nightmares, she began drinking. Just enough to get a full night's sleep at first, but it has been getting worse. She's been wondering if there are other survivor's in the city.
