When the support class once again managed to destroy another portion of UA, Mela was quite perturbed by their chaotic nature. Was this a common thing at school? Mela was glad though, as it gave them all a three day weekend. it was a bright Friday morning and Mela and Ruka were on a private jet, courtesy of Kurotsuki's family heading for I Island. Mela had gotten an invitation thanks to her family's high standing in Japan and their historic contributions to the country. Every year her family showed no interest in the whole expo but since Mela was now at UA, her parents agreed to have her go and see that being a hero didn't always mean putting yourself in danger, it meant helping others in different ways. Mela was hopeful to buy some great new support items. She was hoping for some kind of small jet pack to help her get down from high places she could climb up to.

And maybe some kind of collapsible bow? She wondered if Ruka could find something for her own quirk, maybe something to sharpen her quirk's aim with fire so she could hit small targets instead of using a large scale attack? Or some more fire proof tools? She nudged her friend as the floating man made island came into view. She and Ruka were going to have a whole three days together, just two best friends having a good time. Mela was itching to meet pro heroes from other parts of the world. Maybe she could even find some All Might merchandise? Speaking of the number one hero, Mela had to shake her head. So he was Toshinori Yagi? It was a twist she hadn't seen coming at all. She didn't tell Ruka of course. No no, this was a very big secret and she wouldn't betray Toshinori's trust in confiding in her. Still, she was quite embarrassed by what she had said and done around him. But so far, things were returning to a normal dynamic between them.

Staring out the window, she thought about Shota and their own relationship. It was fine. But...lately she had begun to contemplate their longevity. It was a heartbreaking notion but...it felt like they were spinning their wheels. They hadn't gone much further yet and that was on her but they also hadn't even said they loved each other. On top of that, Mela was a bit sad that they couldn't just walk around school holding hands. It was a simple gesture but Ruka and Shoto could do that and it made Mela a bit disconnected to Shota. Not to mention Ayumi-sensei seemed to really like Shota and Mela had to think Ayumi could give Shota more than what she could. In the back of her head, she had to think about Toshinori. Having since learned he and All Might were one in the same, it complicated things in her own heart. Could she see herself coming home to Shota at the end of the day? Or was there someone else that occupied that fantasy?

Why was Toshinori lingering more so than usual in her thoughts?

The jet landed and they headed out, both wearing their hero costumes. Mela was sticking to her cute, white knight costume since it seemed the most presentable. She grabbed her suitcase and headed off with Ruka, hoping to just forget about their boyfriends for a few days and enjoy some R and R. "This place is so awesome!" She saw as they went through immigration. Their suitcases were taken to their respective rooms as they were allowed to explore the I Expo Preview. Tonight there was also a formal party which Mela and Ruka had personally been invited to attend. Mela decided to grab something sweet while Ruka wanted to go explore some of the challenges set out for people to use their quirks. "Meet you in an hour!" Mela waved as she went off to grab an ice cream cone and explore, not too interested in the events, more so interested in shopping and the inventions themselves.

Upon entering a large showcase of inventions and patents, Mela spotted a boy with green hair, next to a tall blond. Mela was about to approach when she was stopped by...Ochako?! The two girls caught up before they caught Deku's attention. "Hey Dekkun!" Mela waved. "What are you doing here?" Mela asked. Ochako seemed interested in the tall male with glasses who introduced himself as Michael Shield, he began to say his father was a friend of All Might who brought Deku but suddenly Deku pulled them aside to whisper. Mela and Ochako exchanged looks before Kyoka and Momo joined the two boys as well. Deku did explain All Might was here, which piqued Mela's interest immediately. The six roamed the hall before heading back out. Mike explained All Might was with his father, Dave, but he'd probably be at the party tonight. Mela was disappointed that she'd wait to see him but for now, the six decided to look around some more, Mike quite proud of the work all the scientists had done.

The fact the support class was continuing to do dangerous things was making even Shoto question the safety and protocol. They were reckless and Shoto had to wonder if their campus would make it to the end of the term. He heard from Ruka that she would be busy over the sudden three day weekend. Shoto would be busy as well. They saw each other yesterday, Thursday after school, he just mentioned he was doing something for his father and would have to see her on Monday. He wasn't lying to her, he just didn't want to mention going to I Island. He didn't have any tickets to take a plus one and he didn't want to make Ruka feel bad that she couldn't attend. His father was often invited to the expo but his father wanted his son to go and learn more about the heroes of the world. To Shoto, it was kind of a drag but he'd go and represent Endeavor and hopefully it would be an uneventful trip.

The red and white haired male was on a commercial plane with about two hundred other people. He thought he spotted Kaminari but didn't think that would be the case. He ended up catching up on reading and homework for school. He rubbed the back of his neck, not sure what he would actually do for the next three days. The expo had some formal function and he hoped he'd be able to skip it. Glancing at his phone, he flipped through some photos of him and Ruka, missing her already. The boy went back to his work and soon an announcement that everyone should get ready as they were arriving at I Island. Once the plane landed, Shoto changed into his hero costume, as it was deemed quirks and costumes were allowed to be used. Within reason. As usual being from Japan, Shoto and the others couldn't engage in battle but they could use their quirk around the expo's many demos and challenges.

Getting his luggage, he made his way through the digital immigration check point and went to his room at the large hotel tower. It was impressive to have so many things on a floating island. It was amazing, really. He unpacked his items and checked his phone, wondering if he should call Ruka to hear how her Friday was turning out. The day was early and he suspected she'd be out with Mela, shopping or eating strawberries at their favorite cafe. But a few days away was fine. Yes, couples didn't have to spend every day together, they needed their own space and hobbies. Still, texting her would be okay right? He put his phone away, blushing at his indecision. Maybe he should find a cute strawberry dessert and send her a picture. Yes, that way he'd be texting her because he was thinking she'd like something. Maybe that would be better?

No no, that was a cheesy idea, Shoto!

Walking out of his hotel room, he headed to the elevator, finding the circular tower to be a bit of a maze. How easy it would be to get lost in. He took the elevator down and found himself running into Bakugo. His eye twitched. Of all the islands in the world? What was Bakugo doing here? He and the explosive boy headed off to look around, not really saying much to the other. Bakugo found a villain demo where you could crush objects up a large mountain and get scored based on your time. Shoto watched as a few others began to test their skill. Bakugo was clearly chomping at the bit to show off. Shoto on the other hand, wanted to wait and see a few others give it a go. If anything, he would just use his ice quirk to make quick work of the enemies in his way. Suddenly he heard someone come up to him. It was Midoriya, Uede, and the others. Plus a blond he didn't recognize. Mela waved and took care of introductions as they all looked down to see Bakugo stepping up to give it a try.

Deku watched his rival with intense scrutiny. Shoto watched with mild interest as Bakugo ended up finishing with 15 seconds, a new record it seemed. Deku was next to try after some encouragement from Ochako and Mela. Shoto watched as the green haired boy wound up getting 16 which wasn't bad at all but even that didn't seem to sit well with Bakugo for some reason. After seeing both boys go, Shoto decided it wouldn't hurt to try. Heading down, he flexed his hands and stared up at the massive mountain and used his ice to cover the entire range in ice, breaking the machines with ease. He gave a smirk and wound up beating Bakugo by one second. He could hear the blond yelling from up above. It was a simple enough challenge and it didn't require a whole lot of energy from him. In the back of his mind, he did wonder if Ruka was around, if Mela was. He hadn't gotten a chance to ask her though, as she was busy chatting with Michael and Midoriya. Hearing a familiar voice cheering, he turned and saw pink hair. He hurried up and saw it was indeed Ruka! He pulled her close and smiled. "Aren't you're a beautiful sight for sore eyes."

After the issue with the support class, Ayumi and Aizawa were tasked with attending the yearly I Island expo. The other teachers were busy working on the repairs so Ayumi and Aizawa would have to represent UA on their own, Principal Nezu's orders. Ayumi was very excited and wished she could fly herself and Aizawa there personally but instead, they took a plane like normal people. Ayumi sat beside Aizawa, napping on and off, using the grump as an unwilling pillow. For the most part, they got along okay but that was because they weren't exactly chatting up a storm. Ayumi was pretty sure he was still mad about almost killing him a few weeks ago. And then there was the dance two weeks ago where they had danced together, which went surprisingly well. Still, it was hard to tell where she stood with him. She knew she came on strong but that was just her witch's blood hehe.

The two got off the plane, Ayumi in her usual robe and hat, carrying her heavy broom while Aizawa was walking around with his scarf and goggles tucked under said scarf. Ayumi and the dark haired male headed to their own rooms to freshen up and soon parted ways. Ayumi took her time to fly around the large island and check out all the buildings and exhibits and demos. It was so cool! She spotted a few of her students and flew down to see what they up to. She lingered behind them, floating on her broom before she flew off to see if anyone else was around. She had no idea All Might was around but she had a few hours to kill before the dinner started so she had to go see where Shota was and if he knew Uede and Kurotsuki were here, on a honeymoon perhaps! Laughing to herself, Ayumi flew down to a small cafe and waited to be have someone take her order, she glanced up and saw it was Kaminari. "Kaminari-san! You're working here?"

Denki didn't have any connections like Iida or Bakugo or Uede or Kurotsuki. No no. He had been looking forward to I Expo for a few months and he applied to be a waiter in order to check it out. Of course he could only see parts on his break. But he was looking forward to it all the same. He was sitting on the plane and thought he spotted Todoroki but decided nah, Todoroki would probably be on his own family plane or something. He went through immigration like all the others and was taken to one of the main cafes on the island where the expo was taking place. He saw Mineta also heading there and he grinned, not sure if he was happy to see his classmate or not. As he finished changing into his uniform, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Namie talking to the manager, also wearing a cute waitress uniform. Was he seeing things? How could she be here?

He hurried over to her and put a hand on her shoulder, grinning ear to ear. "Namie-san!" He exclaimed. "I can't believe it!" He looked at her. Before he could try and figure out how and why she was on I Island, he heard his pipsqueak of a classmate cry out and come running for them. Denki quickly moved her out of the way as Mineta reached out for her legs, hoping to take a peek up her dress. "D-don't mind him. He's harmless. Sorta." Denki grumbled as he kicked Mineta off his own legs. "Hey pretty lady! Looks like we're gonna be working together all day!" Mineta drooled, giving the girl a thumbs up. Denki sighed and pulled Namie off to the side as Mineta stared at her. Urgh. "What brings you here?" He asked her. While he was happy to see her, he was just so surprised at the odds of them running into each other like this. He heard the manager call out to him before he headed out with Namie to take an order. It was his teacher, Ayumi.

"Kaminari-san! You're working here?"

"Ah yes, sensei!"

"And your girlfriend is here too!" Ayumi smiled, recognizing Namie from many of their past Saturdays at UA. "How adorable~!"

Denki blushed, suddenly at a loss for words as he looked to Namie, sparks flying from his head.

Originally he was planning on going alone, but due to the Support class once again destroying most of U.A, the entire school was given a 3-day weekend. And so, being a good teacher, Toshinori decided to invite Midoriya Shounen who seemed quite eager about attending the I Island special opening expo. Toshinori smiled, happy to see his students so excited and so the two headed off in their private plane. He was given a special and personal invitation from his good friend's son who was also like his nephew in a sense, Michael Shield. Upon arriving, the two went through the immigration customs and whatever other protocol there was before being guided towards the main part of I Island. Toshinori was looking on the map he was given for the place he was supposed to meet Michael.

At the sudden happy voice, All Might looked up in time to grab hold of Michael and the two reconnected rather quickly where he introduced Midoriya to Michael and after having met his longtime friend, David, All Might kindly asked for some time between the two. He smiled over at Michael as he asked the young blonde to show Midoriya around I Island, he was sure the green-haired male would be happy about that. Turning around, All Might talked with David, the two catching up while also getting a check on his physical health. Things have changed quite a lot since the last time he met David. His mind wandered over to Mela, whom he told her a week ago about him actually being both All Might and Toshinori Yagi. It felt only right to tell her and he can only hope it wasn't a burden for her. Ah, once again he was off thinking about Mela. He was really tempted to invite Mela, but he knew that was wrong. She was happy with Aizawa-kun after all.

If Mela wasn't given an invitation to go attend the I Island's Expo preview then Ruka would have refused Yukito's request. Though she knew at the very end she would cave in and agree to go. She really can't go blaming Yukito when their father would push all the social aspects of the Kurotsuki family business onto Yukito who was agreeably the most sociable in the Kurotsuki family. But with the Sports Festival coming up soon, Yukito has been way too busy to even attend such a 3-day event and so with a lot of pouting, crying and clinging Ruka finally agreed. She had to tell Shoto that she would be busy during their fortunate 3-day weekend though to her relief it seemed like Shoto would be busy as well. It wasn't a bad thing for couples to take some time away from each other, right? But for Ruka, she knew she would rather spend every day with Shoto, was that just being too needy?

After the two went through the protocols and whatnot, Ruka and Mela headed out to check out some things to see at the island. Mela wanted something sweet while Ruka wanted to check out the various events taking place. The two decided to meet up later and so Ruka headed off to go see the various events. She was wearing her first hero costume since the other two was just way too short to be even considered a decent hero costume and at least this one had pants! Spotting a rather interesting event about defeating bots as villains, Ruka headed inside, her competitive fire burning up. As she arrived, she watched the contestants go ahead of her when she could clearly hear Katsuki's screams. Ruka felt her eye twitch as she let out a sigh. Why was the idiot here? She much rather see Shoto than the fiery blonde and to her delight, she spotted her lover. Her smile widened but before she can go and sneak up on him, first she must finish this little game.

Walking forth, Ruka's hands glowed for a moment as she sent a large hurl of her black flames at the mountain, burning everything it made contact with. "Amazing! 13 seconds! This would be the new record at the moment!" the announcer screamed out in delight as Ruka smirked lightly. Heh. It seemed like Katsuki was the first to notice as his head snapped at the mention of someone else being first. His ruby eyes zeroed in on familiar pink hair, but before he can make a big fuss about it, Ruka called out to Shoto, "Shoto~ " She ignored the fuming blonde as Eijiro was quick to diffuse the situation, silencing the explosive boy as Ruka was pulled into Shoto's arms. She let out a small giggle as she greeted her boyfriend, "it's great to see you too~" her heart was thumping wildly as she smiled happily. She didn't expect to see Shoto around!

Why him? What has he done to deserve this sort of punishment? Due to the Support class getting carried away again, more than half of U.A was destroyed. He was both impressed and annoyed. Impressed that the students were creating such inventions that could cause such a damage meant that they could be used against villains too, but probably a lot more toned down if anything. But he was more so annoyed since due to all this mess, Principal Nezu and a few others who were supposed to attend the I Island's Expo can no longer go because of it. And now here he was, stuck on a plane heading to I Island along with Ayumi of all people. He held back a sigh, as he already missed Mela. He much rather spend 3 days with his girlfriend than with a witch. A strong witch that can kill with her broom. As the two arrived and dropped their stuff off at their respective rooms before heading out. Shota was quick to get rid of Ayumi as he for one did not want to spend any more time with her than necessary. Honestly, he doesn't understand why he keeps getting clumped together with her.

As he was walking around the expo, Shota wondered about Mela. He held out his phone, deciding if he should give her a call but he recalled her saying something about hanging out all 3 days with Ruka. His brows furrowed, slightly concerned about that. Can he really trust a Kurotsuki to not make a move on his woman? He honestly wasn't sure. Walking around, he heard some loud cheers coming from a rather large building. It almost looked like an arena. Curious, he walked in and it seemed like he came at a good timing for he spotted a few of his students, one brunette specifically who has been clouding his mind for a while now. As Shota was getting closer, he saw a blonde haired boy, looking to be a few years older than his students speak to Mela and Ruka, "U.A is certainly filled with amazing and talented individuals. Beautiful ladies as well." His eyes narrowed as he spotted Mela blushing slightly.

Walking over, Shota spoke up as he had his hands stuffed in his pockets, "of course U.A is amazing. We are teaching the best and this year's students are quite promising." Shota gave the shorter blonde a slight glare before walking over to stand behind Mela. He tugged on her wrist so that her back hit his chest. Looking down at her, he gave her a slight smirk as he asked her, "care to tell me why nearly all of class 3-A is here?" What an interesting sight indeed, but most of all, Shota was just happy to see Mela. He was already eager to drag her away, probably coax her into coming with him with a treat at the cafe. He was certain she'd like that.

Thanks to a certain red-haired best friend of Namie's, she found herself working part-time at a cafe in I Island. She applied for the job a few months ago when Eijiro messaged her about Denki's plan of going there. Curious and wanting to spend some more time with Denki, Namie decided on applying. If she wanted a chance to be with Denki, then she must go to at least this much, right? Or was this going too far? Well, it was too late now and so she found herself dressed in a waitress outfit while her manager was telling her what she will be doing for the day. Nodding her head, Namie made a mental note of every little task she must do when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, she blinked when she spotted Denki, a wide smile soon took over her features as she eagerly greeted him as well, "Denki-kun! What a surprise!" Not really hehe. But before Namie could even move to hug Denki as a form of a greeting, the blonde male suddenly guided her to the side. Huh?

Namie blinked down at a short male with grape-like balls stuck on his head hugging rather tightly onto Denki's legs. Namie took a step back as she blinked down at the rather excited looking boy. Somehow...he seemed to give a bad vibe to the kind green-haired healer. Namie looked over at Denki, nodding her head at his explanation as she simply gave a small smile to the shorter male, "um it's a pleasure to meet you as well..ah yes...I am looking forward to that too..." not really. As she walked away with Denki, the shorter girl replied happily to him, "oh my friend suggested this job to me and I thought it would be fun! Plus it's at I Island, who wouldn't want to go, right?" Her so-called friend was Eijiro, but Denki didn't need to know that hehe. As she walked out behind Denki, Namie blushed at the older woman's comment. Giggling, Namie smiled over at Ayumi as she told her, "why thank you. It seems like even fate wants us together." She gave a playful wink to Denki before sauntering off to get another customer's orders. How fun~

At Michael's compliment, Mela wave a hand dismissively. "O-oh why thank you~" She said, but before she could say she was already seeing someone, she heard someone speak up. Shota-kun?! She turned and smiled to him, not expecting him to appear. But it did make sense if he was attending on behalf of Japan's most prestigious and er comubustable hero academy. She brushed some of her hair behind her ear, noticing his smirk though he had no reason to worry about Michael. He was not her type. Too young. "I don't know, it's very odd we're all congregating at I Island of all places." Mela considered. "I guess we all have connections to get us to I Island huh?"

Michael looked to Mela and Ruka, clearly they were taken. Oh well, he still knew he could help them with some support gear. They were great company even if they were seeing other people. The other three ladies were just as easy on the eyes. "I hope you all enjoy yourselves. I should go check on my father at the lab. I hope to see you all tonight." He said before taking his leave. Mela frowned, hoping they hadn't scared off their kind host. But they had all day to explore the pre-expo and she wanted to see everything. They even had rides! With everyone able to use their quirk freely, it seemed so much more alive than back in Japan. Turning, Mela gave Ruka a look, wishing they could have more time together.

But it was obvious Ruka would prefer Shoto right now and she wasn't about to make Ruka pick between them. Nor did Mela want to tag along on their date. She smiled to Shota, knowing he probably had some ideas for them anyway. "We gotta get ready together tonight so don't forget about me." Mela waved a finger at Ruka as she headed off with Shota to find something more to eat. It was nearing lunch time. Sort of. "I can't believe you're here. I guess you're representing UA huh? Had I known, we could have flown together." She commented. She wouldn't admit it, but she had been hoping to have RUka all to herself this weekend but somehow that didn't seem possible with Todoroki around.

- - -

Seeing Ruka take out the tanks in record time was quite a thing to see. His expectations of her seem to get higher and higher the more he saw her in action. She really was incredible. He hoped he could keep up and match her in battle someday. While Shoto was filled with admiration and pride, Bakugo was filled with rage. What a buzzkill. Shoto arched a brow at the comments made by Michael. Yes, UA had the country's best and brightest but their beauty wasn't really something Michael needed to comment on was it? Tch, Americans. He held Ruka close and said nothing as Aizawa ended up stepping in to say a few short words. Thankfully Michael got the hint and excused himself.

Shoto looked and saw Mela heading off with Aizawa now. Good good. He had no real reason to hang around Deku and the others now. He took Ruka's hand and headed off to see some other places. "You look great in your costume." As always. He couldn't help but hum,his mind trying to stay out of the gutter heh. No, this was a day of fun. Tonight they could enjoy one another. For now the boy wanted to forget about school and fighting but it was hard to do with so much competitive spirit surrounding them. He had to think it might be possible for him and Ruka to have a good day without getting caught in the games but if she wanted to challenge him, he wouldn't say no.

"What should we do, my Queen?" He hadn't enjoyed the idea of this whole expo for support items but now that he had Ruka, things were looking up and he felt a lot better. "Would you like to get something to eat?" Shoto asked her, fingers laced together. Suddenly he remembered there was a formal dinner. Ah yes, and he had to wonder what Ruka may wear. Another dress or something he hadn't seen before? He bit the inside of his mouth, trying to control his thoughts again. "I hope I can expect you to be my date this evening." He smiled. Unless she was Mela's date? No, she had Aizawa so Ruka should be all his now. In the back of his mind, he did wonder about the Michael fellow though.

They could keep wandering or go back to the hotel. Or they could eat or play some more quirk based games. No matter what they did though, Shoto would be a lot happier to be spending his time with Ruka. "I was worried my date would have to be Bakugo." He teased her lightly, squeezing her hand. No no, he'd take Ruka over anyone, any day. He looked ahead, almost worried Yukito was going to show up. Might a fashion designer have an interest in support items? Surely not. Right? "I...er have to ask." He felt silly. "But um is...Yukito here...?" He felt silly, so silly for asking but he was always a tad on edge after their time together.

Ayumi eyed Denki and Namie's reactions. How interesting. Seems there was something untapped between them. Ayumi watched Namie leave before Denki nervously took her order. He was very cute. A bit skittish though. Denki headed back inside to get her iced tea and cookie. He looked over to Namie, smiling a little. He still wasn't sure what to say about that comment made by Ayumi. Should he apologize? No no. He had nothing to apologize for right? He got Ayumi's tea and cookie and took it out to her before he quickly ran back inside. She was scary even if she had a pretty smile. Maybe it was dark chocolate hair and pale skin? She really could be a witch!

"If uh Mineta tries anything, just kick him." Oh wait, he might like that. But he was sure Namie could handle the dork herself but if not, Denki would be happy to protect her. "If I can help with anything, let me know!" Denki smiled to Namie as he heard some laughter outside. He poked his head out and spotted Kyoka, Momo, Ochako and Deku chatting away. Not fair. He motioned Namie over so she could see his classmates having such a good time while he had to work. That was so uncool! He gave Namie a sad look. They had all met Namie formally at the dance after she's been such a good spectator for their Saturday morning rematches.

"On our break, we should say hello?" He looked to Namie, wondering if she might be okay with that.

Meanwhile, Ayumi got up after finishing and paying, deciding to fly around a bit more. She hopped on her broom and waved to the friendly faces before she spotted a certain someone with a certain someone else. She flew down and pushed herself between Shota and Mela. "DId you steal young Uede-san from her girlfriend?" Ayumi narrowed her eyes. "Shame on you!" She huffed. "Uede, sweetie, don't let this old man get in the way of your heart's true desires!" She declared. Mela laughed a little. "A-actually we ummm are together." "He's making you say that." "No no he's not." "He's making you say that too!" Ayumi insisted. Mela couldn't help but laugh. "Wait you guys came together?" Mela looked to Shota. "Yes, I'm so sad I can't look after Mi-chan again!" "Wait...she looked after Mi while we were in Tokyo?" Mela gave him a look. Whaaaat? Why her? Why not Yagi-san? And it's now she finds out?

AiAi AiAi

Shota stayed close to Mela as he looked over at the blondie. His eyes appeared more stern as he looked questionably at him. Thankfully, the boy seemed to have gotten the hint and took his leave. Soon enough everyone dispersed as well and he left with Mela. Good. He had her to himself and he honestly missed her. Once they were out of the building, Shota pulled Mela in for a quick kiss as he murmured out, "I missed you..." he was about to lose his mind if he went another day without Mela. Damn Ayumi was driving him nuts with all her chatter. Shota closed his eyes, taking in Mela's sweet vanilla scent as it was always a soothing scent for him. Keeping her close, Shota walked next to her as they headed off to get something to eat for lunch.

At her question, Shota can only let out a sigh as he rubbed the side of his neck, "yeah, Principal Nezu and one other teacher were supposed to go instead, but due to the major constructions happening on U.A right now, they weren't able to leave. If not most of the staff couldn't go and so he sent me--" his words were cut off just when he was about to mention how Ayumi the witch was here too. Though it seemed that he didn't have to go explaining as he found himself pushed away from Mela rather suddenly. Shota felt his eye twitch in annoyance as he looked over at Ayumi standing in between him and Mela. He glared right back at her as she began her crazy assumptions again. No matter how many times he tells her that Mela and Kurotsuki are not in such a relationship, the woman just doesn't listen. How frustrating.

Before Shota can even get a word out, Ayumi began to scold him endlessly when Mela interjected. Openly stating that he and Mela were together. Shota blinked, well there wasn't a rule that stated that teachers and students can't be involved romantically. He just never really found the need to go declaring to others nor was he the type to be into public displays of affection. He glanced over at Ayumi, hoping she finally got the message and would now shut up about Mela and Ruka being together. He was about to give Ayumi a smug grin when the older woman didn't believe Mela and then things began to escalate and now Mela was giving him a look.

Shota blinked...what just happened? One second Mela was saying how she was dating him and the next things have turned onto him?! Feeling a headache coming from having to explain everything, Shota glared over at Ayumi. He had half the mind to tell her to shut up, but with the broom in her hands, he decided not to. Instead, he turned to Mela and calmly explained to her, "as I was saying before someone *glares over at Ayumi* interrupted me. I was trying to tell you that I was sent here to represent U.A along with her." He gestured to Ayumi before continuing, "and I was running out of people to ask to watch over Mi at that time since it was so last minute." And like hell, he'd ask All Might of all people that. "I am not going to ask Present Mic to watch over Mi...I can't trust him for one second and then don't even get me started on All Might." Shota muttered out as he let out a sigh. Why did it feel like he was hiding things from her? He really wasn't though. "I didn't see the need to explain to you who was watching over Mi as long as Mi was taken care of.." he rubbed the side of his neck. Why do things always end up like this?

Toshinori spent most of his time just catching up with his friend and honestly he was quite content with that. If he were to go out and look around, he knew that he'll only attract people to him. He couldn't quite go out as Toshinori as well since the security is quite high here and if he were to wander around like a living skeleton, he was certain he'd get questioned by the security bots rather quickly. He glanced out the window as he wondered how Midoriya Shounen was doing. He hoped Michael and him were having a good time, though at the door opening up, Toshinori took on his muscled form as he quickly poofed up into All Might. He looked to see it was Michael and he expected Midoriya Shounen to be right behind him. So when he didn't spot the wild green hair of Midoriya Shounen, All Might looked questionably over at Michael who explained, "ah, Deku-kun is currently with his classmates."

All Might looked surprised yet his heart skipped a beat as that could possibly mean...Mela was here?! He looked out the window once more, a more hopeful expression taking place as he just wanted to go out there to see Mela. She must be here on the island, right? He wanted to ask if Michael saw a pretty young brunette among them, but he didn't want to go making them wonder and then, in turn, interrogate him until he spills about his growing crush on his own student. No no...he'll just have to be patient and wait until the party. After talking for a while longer with both David and Michael, All Might made his leave as he headed over to his room.

Arriving in his room, Toshinori laid down on the bed, feeling quite exhausted from having used his muscle form a bit too long today. It really was agonizing, but he must keep at it to keep his image as the Symbol of Peace. Letting out a small sigh, he closed his eyes as he fell asleep for about an hour before waking up. Realizing what time it was, Toshinori took a quick shower before wearing his hero suit. He then put over it a classic black and white suit with a bright yellow bowtie in place. His heart was thumping in his chest as he looked forward to the party now. Perhaps he can see Mela there? Blushing at the thought, Toshinori turned into his muscle form before heading off to the party.

To think that Shoto would be here too! She thought to get into this island, it was extremely difficult? But from how she's seeing so many familiar faces, Ruka wasn't quite sure if it was as difficult as people state it to be. She leaned her head against Shoto's chest as he held her close. She blinked a few times as she looked questionably over at the blonde boy who was with them. Hm? Who was he? Ruka blinked for a moment as she wasn't sure if the statement was directed to him or not, but Ruka can only nod her head in greeting to the boy. Though what happened next, Ruka was not ready for. She felt her eye twitch in annoyance as she looked over to see Aizawa. What was he doing here!? Now Mela will be busy with him! Ah, but...Ruka looked up at Shoto, she was guilty of that too~

As Michael took his leave, everyone began to disperse into small groups. Ruka looked over at Mela and can only nod her head as she waved at Mela with a smile. Yeah, they'll get ready together later hehe. Turning her attention to Shoto, Ruka walked out with him, holding hands quite happily, if she must say. It was always refreshing to see Shoto in his hero costume. Especially since she knew what the belt can do. Pushing aside her naughty thoughts, Ruka smiled widely over at Shoto, "thanks! And you're looking handsome in your costume as always~" Looking around as he questioned what to do, Ruka spoke out while her blue hues scanned the area around them, "well, there are many things we can do. But why don't we first go get something to eat before we look around? We have quite some time before the dance." Though of course, they can always cut their sightseeing short and spend some time together in the hotel hehe.

Ruka blinked at his statement of Katsuki being his date to which she let out a small laugh as she told him, "no no. I'll be more than happy to be your date~" She would never hand over Shoto to Katsuki of all people. Scratch that, she won't hand Shoto over to anyone! As they began to head towards a nearby cafe, Ruka heard his rather uncertain voice. Curious, she listened patiently to what he had to say until she blinked a few times as she looked up at him. What? He thought Yukito was here...? Ah, well she can't really blame him can she? And so, feeling a bit naughty, Ruka told him with a blank face, "he's right here." Of course, Shoto can take that in many ways, but Ruka was talking about herself.

Giggling, Ruka told him, "I'm kidding~ Yukito isn't here per say, but I wasn't joking when I said he is here," at this she pointed at herself while explaining, "Yukito was supposed to represent the Kurotsuki family for the expo preview opening, but since he's busy with clients and also preparing for the Sports Festival, he asked if I can go....but I'm quite glad I agreed." She smiled widely over at Shoto before leaning up and kissing him softly on the lips, "because now I get to spend time with you like this hehe." Tugging on his hand, Ruka led him to the cafe where they took a seat outside. To her surprise, there was Izuku and everyone else, and was that Denki as well!? Ruka's eyes met Denki's and she gave him a friendly wave before being seated. Hm? This girl seemed rather familiar too..Ruka stared up at the waitress who was serving them. Snapping out of her musings, she quickly made an order for a sandwich and some iced tea. Turning to Shoto, Ruka tilted her head in question, "so what brings you to I Island anyways?" She didn't hear his reason for coming here, though she can make a guess.

Namie giggles slightly at Denki's kindness. Was he offering to protect her from his friend? Though judging from how the shorter male was drooling as he looked over at Namie...well perhaps she will take up his offer for some protection? But the boy hasn't done anything to her yet so she can't go asking for help when she wasn't even in need of saving, right? Smiling over at Denki, Namie told him, "okay! I will and you can come to me for anything as well~" She was looking around the place, still in the process of memorizing all the tables when Denki motioned for her to come over. Curious, she walked over to see Denki's friends and classmates. Oh! Judging from his expression, they didn't come together. Nodding her head, Namie smiled over at Denki as she told him, "sure! Let's go say hi to them during our break~"

Namie walked off to take a few orders and keep herself busy. She was ignoring Mineta's odd stares while kicking him aside once. Though that seemed to only make the boy quake oddly as he melted to the floor. Urgh wrong choice. Thankfully, Denki kept Mineta away from her as the three continued to do their work. As Namie went out to get orders from a couple, she paused for a moment as she noticed it was the girl Denki liked or er did like? She honestly wasn't sure if Denki still liked her or not. Namie gave a polite smile to the two as she took their orders from them, "you're Denki-kun's friends right?" Namie couldn't help but ask them.

Her teal gaze was on Ruka as she asked so. The Pinkette looked confused but she nodded her head. Namie smiled at that as she said, "oh, well I'm also his friend, a pleasure to meet you both. The name is Amamiya Namie." She bowed to them as she went to put in their order before heading off for her break. Spotting Denki up ahead, Namie wrapped an arm around his as she greeted him, "Hey! Let's go say hi to your friends now~" leading the way, Namie called out to them, "Hey guys! Fancy meeting you all here." Namie smiled in greeting, her arm still around Denki's. They stayed with the group for the remainder of their break. After they were finished working, Denki, Namie, and even Mineta were given an invitation ticket to the dance that was taking place tonight thanks to the kindness of Michael. Namie smiled over at the blonde as she thanked him. Turning to Denki, Namie gave him a wide smile as she told him, "would you like to be my date for the dance, Denki-kun?" They already went to a dance together before, why not again?

Mela had half a mind to ask Shota if he had really tried explaining to Ayumi directly that she and him were soulmates and together. If she knew he was just insisting she and Ruka weren't a couple, she would be quite annoyed for his lack of real clarity. She had no qualms expressing her feelings for Shota, they ran quite deep. But she was worried he didn't feel the same way. If his own colleagues didn't know, then what was she to him? Just someone to fool around with? And now to hear Ayumi had been over to his place to take care of Mi? Had she been over to his place when Mela had gone to her own family's party?

While she didn't think he'd be the kind of guy to cheat, he was far too lazy right? She still wasn't sure. Ayumi was clearly into him, considering how much she hung around Shota. DId he not notice? DId Ayumi really not see anything between her and Shota? So many complications. She felt her heart sink and she no longer had the urge to be around anyone. Shota may not have lied but he omitted something from her. And she realized she had done the same when she spent the day with Toshinori for his birthday. It was very concerning if they were both limiting how much the other knew. Couples didn't keep secrets nor did they hide their relationship status.

How much were they a couple anyway in Shota's mind? "Right." Mela glanced off as Shota explained he didn't see a need to go into detail about Mi. He didn't have to tell her everything. Sure, it was his cat and his life. She waved a hand, getting annoyed and feeling rather close to crying. Why were things so complicated?! "Well I'm gonna go find Ruka and we'll probably do some shopping. I know that's not your thing. Not that it matters. Have fun doing whatever." She huffed before she waved to Ayumi who gave her a curious look before Mela walked off, heading back to the hotel to be alone. She was very worried. When Shota had appeared...she wasn't as excited as she usually was to see him and now this?

Sighing, she laid down on her bed and just turned off her phone, not wanting to talk to anyone. Little things she thought would clear up a few weeks ago were only growing in her head, nagging her. She ended up watching tv but fell asleep about twenty minutes into the program. She woke up to Ruka knocking on her door, sounding worried she hadn't been answering her texts or calls. Mela couldn't help but cry and explain how confusing things were for her and Shota right now and how she wasn't even sure if they were together in his mind if he was so tight lipped about them. Mela wondered if maybe if she finally had sex with him things would work themselves out?

Getting into her gown, a long lavender and pale yellow. It was very long and regal with its tones and layers. There was a deeper purple layer billowing around her as well as sapphire resting in the middle of her waist, under her bust. A light yellow belt hooked around her as she had on a purple shawl around her arms as well as a purple choker. Mela still was feeling hurt and didn't intend to make the assumption she and Shota were together tonight. No, he was busy with Ayumi. Mela headed down alone, Ruka and Shoto running off to his room when the girls were done getting ready. Ah, it must be so nice to have a boyfriend who openly expressed his love.

Heading down, she entered the hall and noted some heroes were in costume while others were in formal wear. She spotted Ayumi lingering by Shota but she just glanced off. Michael approached her, wearing a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt underneath. He offered his arm, not wanting a guest to feel unaccompanied. Mela's eyes found All Might easily as they headed over to say hello. "All Might, I'm so glad to see you." Mela said as Mike smiled to his uncle before he went to get them all something to drink. "How are you?" She had to consider him being in his muscular form had to be a strain for him today. "You feeling okay?" She couldn't help but offer him a small supportive smile, hoping it didn't look like she had been crying.

No, this was supposed to to be a fun event. She and All Might chatted before Michael came back with a drink for him and Mela since All Might had his own flute of champagne. "By the way, Mela, I have some support items I'd love you to try out tomorrow." Michael commented. Though he found it odd she wasn't with the dark haired man. "Something happen between you and the grump over there?" Mela made a face at the mention of her soulmate. "No no. We're fine." She said, her voice getting a bit high as she excused herself to go get something to eat, finding Deku doing the same thing. Yes, she needed to eat until she didn't feel so sad anymore. That was totally normal problem solving.

Ruka's compliments were too sweet. He didn't think he looked too handsome or even noteworthy in his costume but he wanted something simple that got the job done. But he was always glad to hear praise from his love. He nodded, deciding it could be interesting to try all their food. It had to be grown on the island right? Of course like Ruka, he was thinking they could do something else other than look around. But they'd have time for that after the dance right? Or before? Or both heh. "Good." He smiled to her agreeing to be his date. Yes, she was much easier on the eyes than Bakugo. He had to think about tonight and how nice it would be to get away from everything. But sadly their classmates were also lingering.

It was strange so many were showing up, Aizawa had a point. But they could also use a break after so much combat practice. Plus the sports festival and midterms were also approaching. The more downtime they had, the better right? When Ruka mentioned Yukito was right her, he tilted his head, his heart quickening. Was he around? His eyes scanned the area, a sense of dread coming over him. But she giggled and explained how she was joking and she was attending on behalf of her step-brother and family. That made sense. He had to guess Uede was the same, as he and Momo. "I-I see...but please don't scare me like that." Shoto said, giving her a nervous smile, putting a hand to his chest, trying to calm down.

Yukito was the last person he wanted to be stuck on an island with. Shoto would rather swim thousands of nautical miles than be stuck with the young designer. Ruka leaned up and kissed him which he happily returned, trying to get his mind back on the beautiful girl in front of him and not anyone else that might get in the way of their surprise weekend away. The pair found a popular cafe which had a lot of their classmates chatting and eating. He sat down with Ruka, deciding to order a hot dog, fries and coke. It was a bit heavy but why not treat himself to something a bit unusual? "Oh me? I'm here because my father didn't want to attend." He explained with a smile.

Reaching over, he took her hand as Denki and Namie took their orders and stuck around to chat for a bit. Even though Todoroki had witnessed the two dance and even share an awkward kiss, at the school dance two weeks ago, he wanted to make sure Denki didn't think Ruka was ever going to be his or anyone else's for that matter. But he seemed quite entertained by Namie so that was good. Soon even Michael joined them and presented the hard working staff with tickets. Shoto got up with Ruka, deciding it was time they took their leave and check out more of the sights that I Island had to offer.

They ended up returning to his room and enjoyed two hours together, very glad he wasn't bunking with someone else. He laid in bed with Ruka, running his hands up and down along her body, wanting to just ditch the party but he knew if word got back to either of their families they didn't attend it, there would be hell to pay. He kissed Ruka deeply before she headed off to go get dressed with Mela at her room. Shoto dressed in a dark grey shirt, a white blazer and pants, and finished it with a blue tie, the same as what he wore for Ruka's family gathering. He went to go check on Ruka and found his eyes unable to leave her form. She looked so beautiful and he decided he needed her a bit longer before the party.

Pulling her back down the hall, he got back to his room and pulled her inside, his arms circling up around her. "God you're so beautiful." And he didn't want to share her with anyone else. Shoto kissed along shoulders but was careful not to leave too many marks but he didn't care if people saw them. It was a sign she was very much adored. The way her dress showed off her arms and legs was just too much to resist as he pinned her against the door and sank to his knees to properly show his adoration for his Queen. Eventually the two made their way down to the ain lobby and saw their classmates had congregated as well, all in their formal attire as well but Bakugo and Eijiro were missing.

Mela, Michael, Deku and Ochako quickly met up as they explained they wanted to explore the island after dark before going back to the party itself. Michael said he could show them some off limit places to the public but before anything could happen, an announcement began to sound as it sounded like there was a bomb somewhere? Shoto grabbed Ruka's hand as the building and island began to lockdown but Michael explained this wasn't the right procedure for the security system. And now they were locked in. "Someone has to be trying to take over this island." Shoto deduced. "It's a good time to hold people hostage. But we have to do something right? The pro heroes are bound to be restrained somehow."

Tenya, Momo, Mineta, Denki, Namie, Mela, Ruka, Shoto, Deku, Ochako, Michael and Jiro were now on their own. "We need to stay put. Someone will do something." Tenya insisted. "What? No way, we have to look around and assess the situation before deciding to act or not." Mela frowned. "I can use my quirk if we can get close to the banquet hall." Jiro suggested. "But the bad guys might find us!" Mineta began to whimper. "Are there any ways to get close without being spotted on camera?" Shoto asked Mike. "Yes, there a back way we can take." He explained. He took Jiro and Deku while everyone stayed back. Mela and Ruka exchanged looks. So much for a vacation. Shoto leaned over and pulled Ruka close. "We'll figure this out, we'll save everyone." Somehow. But they couldn't use their quirks. It wasn't against the law. But could this be an exception? Would getting in trouble be worth it? Yes, if lives were on the line. Shoto rested his head against Ruka's, wishing they had stayed in his room.

Ayumi watched Mela walk off. Well that was weird. She seemed mad for some reason. Ayumi was about to comment when she saw the look on Aizawa's face. Yikes. "I'm gonna go now. Byeeee!" She quickly flew off, not wanting to give him the chance to cancel her quirk while she was flying because she wouldn't put it past him. She flew out of sight and landed, wondering what had gotten into Aizawa and Uede. Aizawa never mentioned to her he was taken or in a relationship. Why did it matter to Uede? Why did it matter she had looked after Mi-chan? Ayumi didn't get it. She headed off to go explore and focus on more important things, like spreading the word about herself as a pro hero!

When the evening finally settled over the large island, Ayumi changed into a purple, blue and yellow dress. The skirt was blue and over it, a layer of purple to add depth. It was short and around her neck, was a shawl that fell behind her like a draped cape, turning from black to dark teal. It had a very playful, magical feel to it. She also had her brown hair pulled back into a bow and teal shoes on. Around her waist was a blue and black butterfly decoration. She felt so cute! Heading down, she spotted Aizawa and wondered how much of a talkative mood he was in. If she had caused him any trouble, she would apologize.

But how was she to know Uede cared who looked after Aizawa's cat? Ayumi grabbed a martini and walked over, taking a few sips. "So, nice night huh?" She smiled to him. "Look I didn't mean to get you into any trouble with you little student over there..." She looked to Mela who walked in and went right for All Might. From here, Ayumi could feel the girl's emotions. "I am sorry. I didn't know it was some secret that I was looking after your cat. I can talk to her if you want." While Ayumi didn't get it, she didn't want to have messed things up. She was just joking around, even though she didn't think the two were together, they were probably mentor and student right?

As Mela and the other students soon left after quickly eating, Ayumi already was on her second drink. Yes this was a very good night. But before she could enjoy herself too much, All Might began to make a speech but it was interrupted by a large man walking in and seeming declaring this island was his. The alarm went off and it seemed the system had been tasked with targeting everyone in the hall with a quirk. Ayumi felt herself being restrained as she fell down to the floor, her glass shattering next to her. She gave Shota a look. The students! Were they okay?! She tried to struggle but it was no use. What the hell was the meaning of this?!

Mineta had begun to get a bit too close to Namie a few times so Denki was more than happy to give the little guy a zap or two as a warning. But he had noticed Namie kick him but that only seemed to encourage him. Urgh. Dude, come on. Deni was happy to take a break finally and catch up with his classmates. Sure he saw them yesterday before they evacuated the school but being in a new setting was just so exciting. No homework or reading or lectures or crazy explosions! It was so much fun and he had Namie with him which was all the more reason to smile. Seeing Ruka, he gave her a big thumbs up. Glad to see her enjoying herself.

Holding onto Namie, he chatted with the others but mostly made sure Mineta behaved himself. When Mike appeared with a generous offer, Denki wanted to cry. This was so awesome! He blushed as Namie then asked if they could go together. "Oh yes, of course! I wouldn't have it any other way!" His mind went back to the last dance they went to together at UA. He blushed, remembering how soft her lips had felt and how happy she looked despite it being a total accident on his part. Still, he did think back to that night and how special Namie really was. Though he was a bit guilty. He cared for Ruka too, was it really okay to get feelings for someone else?

They all went off to get ready. Denki dressed up in dark pants and a white collar shirt, not having a lot of formal stuff to wear. He hadn't thought he'd be going to a party but he hoped he looked out. He fiddled with his buttons as he paced around the lobby. Soon others began to show up and he stopped when he saw Namie in her red and cream colored dress. She looked so lovely. He looked up and down. Man, the dress really showed off her legs. His face turned red as he knew he was staring. Nervously looking off, Tenya said they were waiting on Deku and the others before going in, unaware they had already gone ahead.

"Y-you look so great Namie-c-chan!" He said, rubbing his head as a few sparks jetted out of his cheeks. Ah there he goes again. Suddenly the others showed up but soon the island went on a sudden lockdown. Denki looked around, this was clearly not part of the night's events. Denki looked to Namie, making a silent vow to protect her no matter what. When Deku and the others went off to scope out the area and try to pick up any clues, Denki stuck by Namie's side. "I'm sure this is some big misunderstanding." He smiled, trying to stay positive. But deep down, he knew this wasn't some joke or mixup. He knew Namie wasn't much for combat, despite them going to gym a few times. He wouldn't let anything happen to her. "Just stick close to me." He put an arm around her shoulders as they waited.

Ayumi's is 1 and Mela's is 5

When it came time for him to go downstairs to attend the party, All Might was in his suits, two to be exact. He was originally just going to go in his hero costume, but upon hearing that Mela may be here, well he couldn't just go in that, right? No no. He must look nice for her! Er for everyone he meant. And so as he arrived at the hall, All Might noticed a few familiar faces and was surprised to see Aizawa-kun and was that Ayumi too?! What were they here together for? Somehow, the word together caused a frown to appear on his lips as he gratefully took a champagne before looking elsewhere. He didn't want to know what Aizawa was doing, but seeing him do such things while he had Mela felt so very wrong. It pained him to know that Mela may be upset as well.

As he was lost in his thoughts, he turned at the all too familiar voice that made his heart soar above the cloudy thoughts of his. Turning, he spotted Mela and he gave her a wide smile. He greeted Michael as well, clearly glad to see the two, but why was her hand on Mike's arm? Keeping his composure, All Might greeted Mela, "Uede Shoujo! What a surprise to see you here!" He had to refrain from calling her Mela-chan, not in his muscle form at least. But it really was a surprise for him. He blinked over at her concerned expression, a soft smile appearing on his lips as he lightly patted her back as he told her, "I'm always alright! But Uede Shoujo....did something happen?" He noticed her strained smile, it wasn't as radiant as her natural ones and so he couldn't help but worry over her. It must be because of Aizawa-kun right!?

His assumptions were correct when Mike pointed out to Aizawa to Mela. He frowned slightly but kept it to himself as he didn't want Mela to be sad tonight. No no. He'll make her happy! Holding a hand out, All Might told her, "well then Uede Shoujo! Why don't we go have a dance?" He didn't want her to feel alone or anything like that. He gave her a bright smile as the two danced to one song before she headed off to go see her friends. He gave her a wave and he himself had business to do apparently as he was suddenly called forth to make an opening speech. Oh, um okay. Forcing a smile to his lips, All Might stood on the stage as he opened his mouth to greet everyone when a sudden alarm caught everyone's attention.

What was going on!? All Might looked around in concern, his first thoughts moving over to if Mela was safe. When restraints suddenly popped up and wrapped around each pro-hero, he fell to the stage as even he was restrained. He struggled against the hold and was about to break free from it when the news of the entire island being hostages was told. He grits his teeth tightly as he knew he couldn't do anything, but was that really the right way to go!? As he was mulling over his options, a sudden flash in his eye caught his attention. Looking up, he noticed it was Midoriya Shounen. Getting the idea, All Might murmured under his breath about the entire situation including how the whole island was now being held as hostages. He saw the young man running off and he can only place his hope in them for now. He can't fight...no he will trust his students and just hold out as long as he could in this form.

The two spent their afternoon quite productively if she must say. After chatting and seeing their friends for a bit, the two wandered around the island before spending some time showering each other with affection in his hotel room. Throughout her time, Ruka would send a picture or text to Mela, making sure her friend was having fun too, but she never got a response back. Not even when she sent Mela a selfie of her kissing Shoto on the cheek. She was certain her friend would have responded to that about not getting close to Shoto, but that didn't happen either. Hm, was she just busy? Ruka let out a small sound as she stayed cuddled up next to Shoto, enjoying his warmth and his soothing touch. Ah, she could just happily stay here, but no no. She must attend the party or she'll never hear the end of it. Urgh. After parting ways with Shoto, Ruka headed off to her room.

Still not receiving anything from Mela, concerned, Ruka went to her friend's room, knocking on the door, "Mel? Mel?" Ruka called out in worry. When her friend finally answered the door, Ruka walked in, hugging her friend as she muttered out about being worried. Pulling back, Ruka listened patiently as Mela began to cry and tell her about everything that happened. The Pinkette frowned, holding Mela close as she silently vowed to get Aizawa alone and talk to him. Or maybe speaking to Ayumi would be better? The older woman was obviously getting in the way of her Mela smiling. Even if Ruka wanted Mela to break up with Aizawa, she wanted Mela happy above all else and if that old perv was making Mela happy, then Ruka would make sure to do anything to keep that smile on her friend's face.

After comforting Mela for a while longer, the two decided to get ready for the party. Ruka got dressed in whatever Yukito has provided for her. Her eye twitched as she changed into the dress, noting how short the front was. Of course, he would design something like this. It was beautiful but oh so revealing in her opinion. Ruka's dress was a strapless short dress with the skirt area reaching to her mid thighs if that. But thankfully, there was a layer over her short dress which created multiple layers of navy, white and black that rested all the way to the ground for the backside, but the front was cut short so her actual dress was seen underneath. The top half of her dress was designed like a corset with an area right below it where she can attach the longer part of her dress. She wore a navy choker that had a long shawl attached to it, covering her left shoulder and reaching all the way down to the ground. Placing a single black glove on her left hand, Ruka finished off her outfit with black shimmering heels. Putting her hair up into a half bun, Ruka headed out with Mela.

Meeting Shoto at her door, Ruka was quickly taken by her lover as she told Mela she'll meet her at the lobby. She smiled shyly up at Shoto, glad he liked her outfit and even more happy that they were matching once again. After having a bit more time together, the two headed down to the lobby where they were to meet up with everyone else. Though of course half were late or were already in the party hall. Once everyone has arrived, they were discussing about what to do or where to go when a sudden alarm blaring caught everyone off guard. The shutters began to fall and it seemed like they were in a lock down situation. Ruka stayed close to Shoto as the others went to figure out what was going on. Standing close to Shoto, Ruka can only nod her head as she put in her own two cents as some were opposed to moving about while others were all in for going, "I think it's better than just standing around doing nothing...they need our help." Ruka's eyes flashed with determination and after figuring out where to go everyone went for it.

Running up the stairs was rather taxing, as they reached past the 50th floor, Mineta whined out about how much further to the top. Ruka was wondering as well, finding her long dress to be annoying and don't even get her started on the heels. When Mike told them it was at the 200th floor, everyone's face paled. Ruka muttered under her breath, holding back from unclasping her long layer as she simply flashed Shoto a strained smile, "just 150 more floors to go~" well then. Hopefully her burning lungs and aching legs are from her quirk and not from these flight of stairs. Urgh.

The afternoon did not go as he wanted. If anything, Shota was left with a sour taste in his mouth as all he could do was watch Mela hurry off. And what did she just say? Go and do whatever? He could literally feel the anger radiating off of her, but it was mixed with...sadness? No. Why was she upset? Shota took a step forward to go after her, but he stopped. Was he in any right to go after her and tell her everything is not what she thinks? He didn't tell her everything, he didn't just be honest with her but that was because he thought it wasn't necessary or anything of importance. But maybe...that was the problem? He stood there, clearly not happy and he reverted his anger towards Ayumi. Thankfully she took the hint and flew off before he had any more murderous thoughts including her face planting into the concrete from a very high perch in the sky. Letting out a sigh, Shota headed off to his room, wanting nothing more than to just sleep. He wanted to be with Mela and he did try calling her many times...but no answer.

Sighing, Shota went to sleep for a bit until it was time for the party. Grumbling under his breath, he got changed into a simple black and white suit with a dark grey tie. He kept his scarf on him, just wrapped around his torso for the meantime. This was a party, yes, but he could never be too cautious. As he arrived there, Shota's eyes were scanning the crowd for Mela, but he stumbled upon Ayumi instead. Ignoring her, he took a sip of the champagne as he listened to Ayumi. Was she really apologizing? He let out a scoff as he told her, "you wouldn't believe me even if I did tell you that I'm together with Uede, would you?" Shota looked over at her before spotting Mela up ahead. She looked beautiful in that gown. As Shota was about to excuse himself, he felt a rather pained stab as he saw her ignore his presence and go to All Might. He frowned, clearly not happy and was about to go and make that change when a sudden alarm caught his attention.

Shota looked around, turning to Ayumi to tell her to watch out when restraints appeared from the ground and captured each and every pro-hero in there. He struggled as he fell to the ground, he looked over at Ayumi to make sure she was safe before looking around. The students weren't in here....that's good, but what the hell was going on!?

She was happy to have seen Denki but even more so when he agreed to going to the dance with her. That was great! The last time they went to a dance together, it ended rather sweetly in her opinion with quite an electrifying kiss shared between them. It was surprisingly her first kiss, despite having done some other things before, but that was the past and this was the present. She knew the kiss was an accident but it felt quite nice and she knew she wouldn't mind another kiss from him. Though what he thought of that, well she wasn't sure of that. She knew Denki still held feelings for Ruka and so she really couldn't say much. She just wanted him to be happy and if it meant not being together and him happy with another.. then so be it. Though whenever Namie would try to get him alone with Ruka, Ruka's little guard dog, Todoroki would get in the way. Namie kept a smile on her lips though. Surely there'll be an opening for her somewhere.

After hanging out with a few of their friends, Namie parted to go get ready for the party tonight. She didn't bring a very formal fancy dress, but she brought a dress in case. After her shower, she changed into an off shoulder red and cream colored short dress where the bottom overlaid on top of each other. There was a red bow on the center of her dress and to match she put her hair up with a large red bow. Wearing a pair of cream colored low heels, Namie headed off to meet up with everyone in the lobby. She knew her dress was quite short, but she thought it was quite cute. Plus she had to wear something to attract Denki's attention to her, right? She smiled upon seeing Denki looking quite handsome in his outfit. It wasn't super formal, but it looked really nice on him plus they matched, well on the level of how formal they appeared heh.

Smiling over at him, Namie giggled as she told him, "you look very handsome too!" She ignored the strange panting sound she heard from behind, probably coming from Mineta as Namie stepped closer to Denki. She smiled up at him as she was about to suggest they head inside when an alarm suddenly rang. The shutters closed down around them and Namie became worried. This was not normal. She looked over at Denki in concern, but hearing his comforting words, she knew she'll be safe. Staying close to Denki, Namie stepped forward with a reassuring smile on her lips as she told everyone, "please rest assured. No one will be hurt and even if they do...I'll be sure to heal you all up. So let's go and save the day?" It seemed that the idea of having a healer around reassured Tenya as be finally caved in. As they began there flight up the stairs, Namie was a bit uncomfortable knowing that Mineta was right behind her. She slowed down as she stayed behind everyone. Her skirt was way too short to go ahead of everyone. A small blush stained her cheeks in embarrassment.

It had been nice to dance with All Might, it made her think of UA's dance and the prt her family had just held. He wasn't a poor dancer like he had once been worried about. Mela did her best to not even acknowledge Shota but she knew she had to talk to him. Yes, they had to talk about things and straighten things out. After all, these growing doubts couldn't be resolved unless he knew she was unhappy and worried. Yes, she couldn't really expect things to change unless she spoke up. But every time she wanted to say something, she tricked herself into believing it was silly and not totally valid but after hearing how Ayumi was in his life more than once assumed, she was all the more conflicted.

As Mike and the others returned, now with information as to how dire things were, Mela frowned. This was bad. Really bad. She felt sick. If anything happened to her or Shota and the last thing she said to him was 'whatever,' she would feel horrible. And Toshinori was in his muscled up form and she knew he had been straining himself as it was. Was he really going to be okay or would his cover be blown? They had to move quick. Michael explained they could get to the top and reboot the security system manually. But of course it meant taking the stairs so they were undetected. Mela and the others began the long climb. After the 12th floor, she ditched her heels.

After 50 floors, Mela was ready to just get captured. Argh! Unlike Ruka, Mela already took to ripping her dress up so she could move a bit more freely, tearing the pretty fabric so the tattered ends reached below her knees. She then tied her shawls around her neck like a scarf, sure she could use them somehow. It was tense, not knowing who was watching or what villains might come out of nowhere. Mela let out a groan as she had to resort to using her acrobatics to flip up the sets of stairs, it broke up the monotony. At the 80th floor, they stopped as they found it blocked. Before anything could be decided upon, Mineta opened another door and suddenly another alarm sounded. Just great.

"You idiot!" Mela yelled. The group had no choice but to find a new route. They hurried in as gates began closing around them, trapping them . They decided to blast their way into another section of the tower. It was green and very vibrant. Michael said this was a plant lab and that though there was an elevator, none of them would be able to access it without the proper key card. Suddenly the elevator began to approach their floor so everyone took to hiding in the bushes, hoping that whoever it was, wouldn't spot them. But what could they do? Could they really engage in combat?

- - -

This was one big mess and Todoroki was wondering where Bakugo and Kirishima were. Were they okay or did they get captured somehow? He was sure those two would be fine, given their skills but did they even know what was going on? Todoroki couldn't call them and it was clear that the signals were cut throughout the island so it wasn't like they could readily communicate anyway. He looked to the others, he and Tenya and Deku discussing what they could do. And what would happened if it came to combat. Shoto knew they would get in trouble but they had to do what they could and that meant using their quirks.

It was against Japanese law and yet, Shoto was going to defend their actions to anyone who questioned them. There were lives at stake and real villains breathing down their necks. Plus they had innocent people like Namie and Michael with them, people who might need someone to look after them and Shoto and Deku couldn't do it with their arms bound by hero laws. He knew Midoriya felt the same way, as did most of them in their crew. Shoto kept pace with Ruka though he could go faster, there was little point in them charging ahead and fracture the group when they were simply running up stairs. He felt bad for the girls who all looked rather mistable while the guys weren't suffering due to their shoe selection.

Shoto tried to offer Ruka his shoes but she wound up discarding her as the other girls had done. Though he could feel Jiro thinking about taking him up on his offer heh. As the girls stopped at the 50th floor to remove their shoes and adjust their various outfits, Mela ripping her ups. Shoto looked over to see Mineta taking the discarded heels and...smelling them? Was he moaning too? What the fuck? Shoto kicked his friend before he got his grubby hands on Ruka's recently discarded black shiny shoes. "Touch those and die you perv." Shoto said darkly. God, what a freak. They continued for another 30 floors before they reached the end. But there were 200 floors, now what?

Before Mike could explain, Mineta then opened another door and chaos erupted. Now they were detected. Several swear words were hurled toward Mineta as they tried to run and find another way but with metal gates closing around them, they had to blast their way into another area, throwing off their whole plan of flying under the radar. Shoto glared at Mineta as they had to quickly hide. Shoto pulled Ruka close to him as they waited, the air tense. Shoto could feel the adrenaline rushing through his veins as he waited nervously. Of course he was ready to fight but if they could get out of this somehow without drawing blood, that would be a lot easier. As the two villains neared them and called out, he froze, readying his ice.

Rolling a bit, she found her strength being drained. Urgh. Why was this happening? She saw the leader look around, exchanging words with someone over his ear piece. She could pick out a few words, something about kids running around on the 80th floor. She decided that had to be the kids from their school. Who else would be so reckless? She smirked to Shota, things would be okay right? Thinking back to his comment about Uede and him. Was it true? No. It couldn't be true. There was nothing between them she could tell. If Ayumi had some cutie like Mela on her arm, she'd let everyone know she was happily taken but then again Aizawa was pretty private. Whoever did date him would have to accept the fact he was not one for grand romantic gestures and the like. "I don't know if there's anything between you and Uede-san." It seemed so unlikely. "But I'm sure she's fine." She said to Shota quietly.

Denki was worried for Namie, he felt a bit responsible for her predicament. She was here, trapped with them. But she had several heroes from UA's 3-A class so she would be okay. He would make sure of it! As they began to head up the stairs, he already felt like crawling and it was only the 5th floor! Argh, this wasn't supposed to be gym class! He tried to look like he wasn't dying because Namie was watching but as he looked back, he noticed her short tight dress hiking up a bit. And then he noticed Mineta eyeing her and looked very hungry. Ew. Denki grabbed Mineta and threw him ahead of the pack, not wanting him to get a peek up that dress of hers or anything!

At the 50th floor, they took a quick breather as Denki sat back to catch his breath. His chest hurt and his feet hurt and he was actually a bit scared. But a hero couldn't be scared. They had to be confident and well, heroic! "You okay?" He panted, looking to Namie, noticing Mineta still eyeing her and those long legs of hers. Denki swallowed and averted his gaze for a moment. Be good, Denki. They soon resumed their climb until they reached a blockage but Mineta, the plump problem solver, opened a door which then alerted their enemy to their location. "Mineta! Come on, dude! What the hell?!" Several people were itching to pummel the purple perv but they had no time as they fled.

Denki grabbed onto Namie's hand and kept her close as they ran into a garden of sorts. Michael's quick explanation fell on deaf ears as he ducked behind a bush and held his arms around her, trying to keep her well hidden. His blond hair on the hand...was difficult to conceal. He ducked his head but two men could be heard coming from the elevator as they began to step out into the lush gardenscape, it was clear their hiding spot wasn't very good. Denki said Shoto already chilling his hand so Denki decided to get ready to leap into action if needed. But he also wasn't going to leave Namie to be saved by the likes of Mineta. This was all his fault to begin with! "It'll be okay." He said quietly to Namie, brushing his head against hers.

A small cough was heard as Toshinori felt rather strained and it wasn't because of a tight security restraint tying him down. No, he could feel himself already at the end of his muscle form as the steam was slowly rising off his body. Clenching his jaw tightly, Toshinori refused to go down! No, they were all going to be fine! As much as he didn't want his precious students running around facing danger, there was just no other way. He must believe in their abilities and wait for them. Until then, this was a silent battle of his own as he stayed lying on the stage, withholding himself from reverting into his normal form. Not in front of this crowd, he can't do that! He spotted Aizawa and Ayumi not too far from where he was. He looked over at Aizawa, trying to silently tell him that Mela and the others are moving and will soon release them. That they must trust their students! He gave a shiny smile over to Aizawa, trying to reassure the dark-haired pro-hero.

Ears perking at the mention of some kids running loose on the 80th floor, Shota can only assume that they were his students. What other kids would in their right mind go running around during a lockdown hostage situation? No one else but his class 3-A. He saw Ayumi look over at him and the two shared a smirk. Yes, Shota was still upset at her, but in a situation like this, he wasn't going to be some kid and keep brooding. Hearing Ayumi's 'reassuring' words, Shota looked over at All Might, reading his message, Shota can only nod his head. "They'll be fine...they're my pride after all." He smirked. Yes, if anyone can turn a tide and change things, it would be his students. They had a knack for running into trouble and now that there were two new additions, ah well three including Denki's little girlfriend, Shota just knew they would be able to do something. And when things have changed, Shota will be sure to rush out to find Mela. He didn't want anything to happen to her and if something did, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself. What pro-heroes they were, all stuck while they only had students to rely on? Shota smirked, no, they had heroes they were relying on.

Never has she gone to a party where there would be running up endless flights of stairs as part of its main attractions! Ruka was grumbling under her breath as she hiked up her long dress, trying to keep up. But damn! No matter how many times she's worn heels, this was too much! Shoto was kind enough to offer her his shoes, but she refused for several reasons. One is that it was probably too big on her and she'd just end up tripping and then two which was more of the main reason why, but she was just too damn stubborn! She wasn't about to back down now! Not when they had the entire island's safety in their hands! But once reaching the 50th floor, all the girls decided to discard their shoes and whatever else that may be in the way. Ruka decided to just get rid of her heels as she knew better than to take off her long layer. Not yet at least. Thankfully, she didn't notice what Mineta was doing otherwise she would have probably kicked the grape head down the stairs.

Wrapping her shawl around her neck, Ruka tied the ends of her dress at the front so as to make it a bit easier to move around in. Smiling over at Shoto, trying not to show her exhaustion, she told him, "150 more flights to go." Oh, joy. The group continued to move up the stairs but upon reaching the 80th floor there was a blockage. Ruka was just about ready to melt the metal and get through it when Mineta just had to open the door to that floor. Various curse words were hurled at the short man as Ruka sent him a fiery glare. She could have dealt with the situation just fine but he had to be the lazy brat that he is! Holding back a flaming fist, Ruka ran in after the others as they decided to improvise their plans due to Mineta's little slip-up.

As they were running around, the long hallway was being cut down as large metal gates came slamming down in quarters. As much as they could possibly break through it, it would be a waste of energy and so they decided to go through another part of the building which was some plant lab. Ruka looked around at the various greenery before letting out a small sound when she felt Shoto pull her to him as they all hid. She could hear someone exiting the elevators, holding her breath, Ruka stayed close to Shoto as she was more than ready to jump if necessary. Hearing someone's voice, Ruka's breath stopped as she lifted her hands, ready to send out flames.

"We know you're there, come on out already." Ruka closed her eyes, counting to three for her to get out there and cause some flaming mess, but then an all too familiar voice spoke up, cutting off her thoughts completely as her blue hues widened in surprise, "AH? Who the hell are you?" Katsuki spoke up as he stalked over to the two men with Ejiro close behind him. Ruka's eyes were wide as she watched the two. What were they doing here!? Eijiro stepped in between Katsuki and the two men as he spoke up, "dude, just relax a bit. At times like this, all we need to do is talk. Hey! So uh my friend and I got lost, is there any way you can tell us how to get to the reception hall?" Ruka held back from facepalming as she wondered if those two were fine. Who in their right mind would go up to the 80th floor and then realize they are lost!? She held back a grumble, deciding on that those two were idiots.

Though before Ruka can even react, Shoto sent a burst of ice to block a series of gunshots from reaching Eijiro. Ruka's eyes were wide but now they couldn't hide as Katsuki looked over at the bushes and spotted Ruka's bright pink hair, "why the fuck are you guys here!?" Ruka came out along with everyone else. She went over to see if Eijiro was fine as she snapped over at Katsuki, "oh shut it Porcupine. I don't want to hear it from two lost boys who walked all the way up to the 80th floor!" Ruka and Katsuki would have continued with their banter if not for the ice suddenly breaking as one of the villains stepped forward. Ruka and Katsuki got into position as Katsuki helped Eijiro up and pulled the red-head to stand beside him. Ruka went to stand beside Shoto. She glanced at the rest and looked over at Shoto. The two shared a look and suddenly ice bursted out from the ground below the rest of the group as Ruka told them, "go ahead of us! We got this!" Ruka gave Mela a reassuring smile and wink before facing the two men. Hands lighting up, Ruka murmured out, "let's get this over with then, boys."

Her chest felt like it was on fire as her lungs were squeezing rather tightly while her legs felt sore. She's never faced such a gruesome exercise even in school! As they arrived on the 50th floor, Namie decided to just forgo her shoes as it was too painful to run in them. Sure, they were low heels, but it was still not a very comfortable running shoe. She'd end up with blisters if she kept wearing those. Panting, Namie turned to Denki and smiled over at him. It was hard and something she wasn't used to, but she will keep going. This was what it meant to be a hero right? To never give up and to keep going as long as there was a bit of hope? No, right now they were the hope. She gave Denki a thumbs up to tell him everything was fine before they continued their long journey up the flight of stairs.

As they reached the 80th floor, they were contemplating how to get through the metal blockage when Mineta just decided to open the door to the 80th floor. An alarm rang and many grumbled against him. Namie felt her face darken for a bit as she was quite tired which in turn made her a bit cranky. Taking in a deep breath, Namie was the one who suggested to everyone that there was no other way but to go in now. They had to keep improvising, but it can't be helped as what is done is well, done. As they ran down the halls, trying to escape the various gates shutting down on them, they soon reached a dead end. Until Tenya and Izuku made a hole through a doorway, bringing them inside what seemed to be some greenhouse.

Namie blinked in surprise as she felt herself encased in Denki's arms as everyone huddled close to hide from what seemed to be villains. Her face felt hot as her heart thumped wildly in her chest. She was quite nervous not only because this would probably be one of her first times facing a villain, but also because of how close Denki was to her. She covered her face with her hands, trying to calm her beating heart. What was going to happen? Would they need to run now? Or maybe they'll have to fight? Was she ready? Namie's mind was filled with racing thoughts when it all came to a stop as she felt a gentle push against her head. She blinked a few times as her breathing calmed down with Denki's reassuring words. Namie leaned into his hold as she nodded her head, "yeah..." yes, they'll be just fine. So when two more of Denki's classmates have made their appearance, well Namie was shocked. It was a bit hard to believe that they were lost and wounded up on the 80th floor, but this meant more back up right?

Though before anyone can start fighting, Namie let out a squeak as she felt the ground beneath them to suddenly rise up and get very cold. She held onto Denki for support as she found that they were rising higher and higher. She looked down to see that four of them remained and her heart grew concerned for them, especially when she saw one was Denki's crush. She looked over at Denki with worried eyes. Would they be okay?

She let out a whine. Seeing Denki cuddling Namie and Shoto holding onto Ruka, she felt like the fifth wheel of some horrible date night. Was Toshinori and Shota okay? She knew she had the support of Deku though he was busy with Ochako. And Iida was with Momo and sadly Kyoka was stuck babying Mineta, which left Mela and Mike together. He may not be her type, but he was cute! Michael handed Mela a small device and whispered into her ear, "You say you're an archer, this is a small bow, it's a prototype but it should help." He then handed her three smaller items. "Arrows, just press the buttons and it all should expand." He said, glad he had brought them with him to surprise her. But he never thought they'd be tested in this kind of a situation. And how was his father, David doing?

It was so weird to have a bow and arrow fit in the palm of her hand. She didn't have a purse so she just wedged them between her breasts, in her cleavage. Chaos soon broke as she heard voices. She tried to peer around but Mike pulled her back down, not wanting anything to happen to her. He could tell All Might was a bit protective of her, based on how he looked at her back at the reception and he wouldn't let anything happen to her. Suddenly there was yelling and a coolness under their feet as Shoto used his quirk to push them up and away from the fighting. "Ruka! Shoto!" But how could they get away? Iida spotted a vent and it was decided Mineta, believe it or not, was their greatest hope in getting to it and letting down a ladder. Mela watched as the purple turd climbed up, rambling about a harem or something. Urgh. She kinda wished she was trapped with the pro heroes.

Once the ladder was freed, everyone climbed up and were trying to figure out where they were now. Michael explained they could still reach the top but it would take more time. As they walked along the curved corridor, Mela heard something behind them and realized a door behind them had just opened. Suddenly a swarm of red low riding robots came up behind them and tried to corner them. Deku and Denki did their best to keep them at bay while Mela hopped on top of them and jumped around, getting them to aim at her before she kept moving, letting the bots attack themselves with her quick jumping. "There's too many of them!" Mela called out as more seemed to be coming from who knows where! She looked around and panted lightly, wishing she had eaten more earlier.

"You guys go ahead!" Momo said.

Upon hearing...Kirishima and Bakugo, Shoto frowned. So they were here? What were they doing here? Shoto was at a loss. Were they that terrible at directions? Why would a party be on the 80'th floor of a 200'th floor building? Were they idiots? Well, they were, yes. Shoto was glad to know they were okay though. They could use the help right about now too. The bad guys thought they had the advantage but they had no idea they were dealing with two tough heroes in training from UA. Standing up, Shoto shielded Eijiro with a wall of ice before he hurried out to join the fun. He didn't want to fight but this was their only way. Shoto knew Ruka would also likely join as well. But he knew he could trust her to use her best judgement.

"We don't have time guys!" Shoto yelled at Ruka and Bakugo. Now wasn't the time for a yelling match between rivals. Now was the time to fight and get the others out of harms way. Ruka joined him as he predicted as the four could now band together to kick some ass. He used his ice to lift the group up before they got any crazy ideas about joining in as well. They had to move on and leave these two to them. One villain was clearly strong while the other did something to atoms or displaced them or something. Shoto began to shoot off chunks of ice while Eijiro went head to head against the brute of a villain. He knew with Ruka's fire power and Bakugo's explosions, they would be able to soon join the others. He glanced up to see them escaping. Good.

Soon they would follow suit. Shoto could feel the cold tightening up around his ice half of his body. He began to alternate with fire to warm himself up. He jumped out of the way as the villain who could displace matter almost took off his arm. Shoto had to be quick and careful. Sighing, he fired off both a wave of fire and ice toward the guy but the attacks were sent somewhere else in chunks of melting ice. Cute. Shoto looked to see Bakugo and Ruka trying to also catch the guy by surprise so Shoto turned his attention to Eijiro who was trying to defend against the large bad guy. Shoto ran over and began to fire at him but found himself being hit hard by the massive enemy. Falling backwards, he glared, wiping the blood from his mouth. "Ruka!" He called out.

He hoped she was doing good. He and Eijiro were making work of this one guy but he had to hope the other one was not match for the combined fire power of Bakugo and Kurotsuki. This really wasn't how he pictured their night would be going but he hoped they could still salvage it after this was all said and done. Yes, he would fight for that kind of future. One with him and Ruka, where there was no more fighting or danger. "You better not be letting Bakugo have any of your fun!" He teased Ruka lightly, knowing those two would probably be fighting to land finishing blows. He was sure they were working together, whether they wanted to or not heh.

When ice carried them up, Denki held on tightly to Namie as he looked ahead and not down. Those four were strong, he had no doubt they'd be able to handle those two guys and catch up with them quickly. Ruka had proven she didn't need Denki worrying about her, even though his heart ached, wishing he was stronger, strong like Todoroki to help protect and fight alongside her. He had to accept it wasn't his place. It never would be. He gave Namie a small sad smile. "We're almost there." He said, smiling. Yes, he kept smiling even though all of this mess. He looked up as they eyed a vent, their own means of escape as well as progression. Everyone eyed Mineta. This was his chance to shine and yet he was covering! Some hero!

"If you do it, you'll get totally famous. You'll be on tv, everyone will know your name. Not to mention lovely ladies will want you, imagine having a harem all to yourself." Denki whispered, ashamed that this had to be the carrot to lead Mineta to doing actual hero work. He hoped Namie didn't hear him say such things. Denki had no interest in harems! He blushed and helped the girls climb the ladder, not looking up their dresses though Kyoka aimed a kick at his leg even though he wasn't even looking! Once they got up, he looked around. So they were in another hallway on the 81'st floor? He walked along with the others, finding it off the hatches were no longer sealed. It was like this was a trap or something.

A sinking feeling came over Denki as he found them being ambushed by quick red robots that moved around and seemed to assume they were the bad guys in this situation! Denki fired off volts but found they had zero impact. Crap. He was going to look so cool in front of Namie too! Even though Mela was doing her best, as was Deku, this was too much for them. They just kept coming. Momo told them to go ahead, she and Mineta, Tenya and Kyoka would stay behind. Denki looked to Deku and grabbed Namie's hand and picked her up in his arms before he ran off, not sure what came over him but he just wanted to make sure she was safe! They broke up and ran up ahead. "It's so funny, we're not really running into any more dead ends." He said, laughing. What luck!

"Probably a trap." Mela said.

"I have to reach the main control room. But we have a lot more floors to go. Them sending bots out is just to stall us." Michael considered.

Denki made a face and looked to the girl in his arms. "You okay?" He asked, wanting to make sure. "I'm sorry things fell apart but I would love to still take you up on that dance after this is over." He could hear Mela make a groan of some sort. Why was she surrounded by lovebirds?! Michael caught up to Mela as they ran. "You know All Might doesn't really ask anyone to dance, not from what I've seen. I wonder why he asked you..." He commented. Mela blushed. "Hey guys!" Denki called out, spotting a large door up ahead. That looked a bit unsettling. He set Naie down on her feet again. Denki looked behind them. There weren't anymore bots but he had a feeling they were behind that door. Deku looked ready as he walked up to it. Denki charged himself up and stood in front of Namie as a stray bot suddenly snuck out from behind the door and glided right towards Namie. Without even thinking, Denki grabbed hold of it and applied his volts at max and managed to fry it, while also frying himself too. He fell over and laughed slightly.

"Um...jeez. C-can you help him Namie-san?" Deku looked to Namie, feeling a bit bad for asking for her help, even though she was a healer, as he finished pulling the doors open while he and Mela began to fend off another wave of robots.

Another cough was heard as Toshinori can feel blood welling up inside his mouth. He swallowed it back down, knowing it'll be bad if the villains caught sight of him bleeding. They can use that to their advantage after all. He looked over to see all the pro heroes struggling and looking quite frustrated. Suddenly, the man looking to be in charge in the all-white suit stood up. He walked over to one who was David's assistant if Toshinori remembered correctly. The man began to demand the guy to come with them for some sort of job. That was when David stepped forward, offering to go instead. Toshinori's eyes widened as he struggled against the restraints. No! What was David doing!? Don't go! His mind was screaming at David to not go and he yelled it out as well, "David!" But a sudden kick to his stomach stopped him from speaking as he coughed out blood. Eyes squinting, Toshinori can only watch as his good friend walked off with a few villains. No...what can he do? Closing his eyes, Toshinori began to mentally berate himself. No Toshinori! It isn't what he can do right now...no, right now he should believe in his students. Believe in Mela. They will be able to do something about this. He glared at the door, promising to save everyone and if someone dared to hurt Mela, then there would be hell to pay.

Ah, how he wished he had his sleeping bag right now...just kidding. Well, sort of. Shota eyed All Might who seemed to be coughing. He could see the steam rolling off the muscular man and knew that All Might was at his end there. He grits his teeth, wondering how they can escape from here? But from what he's heard from the villain and All Might's reassuring smile, Shota can only guess that his troublesome students are wrecking chaos somewhere in this building. He was concerned for Mela, but he knew she was a strong and independent woman. He knew she can kick ass, but if he were to find a single scratch on her, there will be his wrath to face. Shota made a dark face but it changed back to one of impassive as he looked over at Ayumi. "Are you alright?" He asked her, wondering if she was fine. He may find her annoying, but she was still a fellow hero and co-worker of his. He wasn't about to let anyone he knew get hurt under his watch. So when All Might got kicked while two scientists were taken out of the room, Shota glared. He moved about in his restraints, yelling at them to stop, "hey, pick on someone your own size, stupid." Shota glared over but it was soon his turn to get kicked as he let out a pained grunt. At least this way they won't push All Might who was probably already strained by just staying in the form. Stupid hero. Shota overhead the one in the white suit stop the men from beating him up as the villain told them, "stop. Enough picking on them. I have something more important for you two to do. There seems to be a handful of troublesome people up on the 85th floor. It seems like they already got 2 of our men." Shota's eyes widened. No! Mela run!

As Shoto snapped some sense into Ruka and Katsuki, the two shared one final glare before facing off the villains. One of the villains had large gloved-like hands while the other turned into some big purple hulk. Ruka's nose scrunched in distaste before she was pushed out of the way of the purple brute by Katsuki, "stop standing there looking like some idiot Pinky!" Ruka felt her eye twitch as she directed a black burst of flame towards the one Shoto was fighting as she yelled back at Katsuki, "shut it Porcupine! Why don't you focus on your own fight damnit!?" The two soon realized they were the ones fighting together. Ruka pouted over at Shoto and his teasing words while Katsuki glared at everything and anything. Dang, it. As Eijiro began to fight off the purple brute, Katsuki came in hot behind the large hand one as Shoto kept him busy with his ice. Angling his hands, Katsuki let out a loud scream as he sent a large explosion his way, "DIE!" Ruka rolled her eyes as she then sent a wave of black flames after his explosions to ensure that he was down for the count, only for large holes of air to appear among their mixture of flames and explosions. What!?

Ruka's eyes widened as she felt Katsuki pick her up and toss her over to Shoto while yelling out, "OI HALF AND HALF! TAKE HER ALREADY DAMN IT!" Ruka glared over at Katsuki as she felt herself collide with Shoto. Rolling on top of him briefly, Ruka looked down at Shoto as she apologized, "sorry Shoto!" But perhaps her fire and his ice would be a better combo than her with Katsuki? Noticing the villain running towards them, Ruka raised her hands as she threw a large flamethrower towards his way which he easily cut through. Seriously!? Getting off of Shoto, Ruka stands back to back with him as she keeps an eye out for the guy. She frowns as she tells Shoto, "that guy can cut through things, right? If you can stop his movements, I can get him with my flames." Yes, that sounded like a good plan to her.

As she could clearly hear Katsuki's screaming of profanities as he helped Eijiro out with the purple brute, Ruka focused on her fight with Shoto. They could do this. Her bond with Shoto was closer than with anyone here, minus Mela ehe, and she knew that they can make it work somehow. As she eyed the man coming in close once more, Ruka moved to the side as she felt a gust of air skim past her, making a thin cut on her arm as she barely dodged that. That was a dangerous quirk. At her signal, Ruka told Shoto to freeze the guy's legs, "now, Shoto!" Ruka called out as she sent a large flame towards him to keep him distracted from the sneaking ice. As Shoto's ice encased the man's legs, Ruka lit both her hands up, a large smirk crossing her lips as she told Shoto, "care to join?" The two sent a whirling mix of black and orange flames directed straight towards the man. A large scream was heard as the man was burned to a crisp. Ruka was panting as she tried to catch her breath, noticing that Katsuki and Eijiro were able to put an end to the purple hulk as well, though it seemed like Eijiro was a bit stuck.

As Katsuki simply told the red-head to release his quirk, Ruka turned to Shoto and gave him a smile and a wink, "good job, dear~" she can only imagine this was how it felt to fight with her lover together. It was a great future to look forward to. After making sure that the two villains were tied up, the four began to head up. As they were ascending the floors, they came across a large courtyard-like area filled with plants to tables to benches. As they were running across, sudden explosions quaked the floor where they were. Ruka closed her eyes against the smoke but as she squinted her eyes to see, she noticed something running through the smoke. Hm? Ruka's eyes widened as she yelled out, "get down!" just in time for gunshots were soon heard. Glaring, Ruka stood up as everyone began to make a run for the exit. Staying behind, Ruka created a large wall of black flames that cut off her from the others as she yelled at them, "go ahead of me! I'll catch up!" Light blue meeting Shoto's mismatching eyes, Ruka added, "I promise!"

Now then...turning around, Ruka smirked as she called out, "come on out already! I know you're there hiding!"

Namie's heart clenched tightly as she saw the sad smile on Denki's face. No, please don't make such a face. Namie reached a hand up and touched his cheek gently as she smiled back at him, "yeah, they'll be fine and we will be too." Yes, that was the only thing they can do. They must trust in their friends. As they reached the area, everyone was questioning how to get up to the next floor when Tenya spotted a vent. Namie watched curiously as Denki leaned over and whispered some words to Mineta. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she saw Mineta's face turn into a bright one and from what she knows of Mineta so far, that boy does not make such a face unless girls are involved. What did Denki say exactly? As Mineta went up to get the ladder down for them, Namie simply smiled over at Denki sweetly. What did he say? She was so curious!

As they moved up the ladder to reach the next floor, it was too quiet. Way too quiet. As Namie stuck close to Denki, she looked around in concern as she noticed the hatches that were used earlier has lifted up suddenly. That was obviously a trap, right? But they had no other way to go! Walking along the long hallways, they were suddenly swarmed by red robots, weren't these the security bots?! Sensing something was off, Namie stayed in the back next to Momo and Kyoka as Denki, Izuku, Mela, and Tenya fought the bots. But there was no end to them! What can they do?! Hearing Momo's words, Namie turned around to tell her that it's too dangerous when she felt herself being pulled into Denki's arms and now she was being...carried!? Her entire face turned red as she wrapped both arms around his neck, but upon noticing her dress riding up, Namie used one hand to hold it down while she hid her face into the crook of his neck. This was both very nice and embarrassing! Please don't look down Denki!

Hearing Denki call out to her, she looked up, noticing just how close their faces were which in turn made her turn red once more. Shaking her thoughts aside, Namie gave him a small smile, "yes, I'm perfectly fine thanks to you." She blinked a few times when he mentioned the dance. Giggling, Namie leaned up and kissed his cheek briefly as she told him, "of course! I'd love to dance with you anytime hehe." Though all fun and games were soon put to an end as they came upon a large metal door. Namie got to her feet as she thanked Denki before peering around the blonde haired hero to see what was behind the doors. Suddenly a robot came gliding past and straight towards her. Her teal hues widened in surprise but before anything can happen, Denki shocked the robot to a crisp. Namie blinked a few times before rushing to kneel beside the laughing Denki.

"Denki-kun!" Namie called out to him in worry. Hearing Izuku's request, Namie looked up at the green-haired boy before nodding her head as she turned to face Denki, "of course, that's why I'm here." To heal everyone in pain. Wrapping her arms around the giggling electric male, she slowly absorbed all the volts that were causing his brain to act a bit silly. She kept a serene look on her face as she cradled Denki's head against her chest as she soothing ran a hand through his hair. It stung, but it wasn't bad. She hasn't used her quirk for a few days so she had plenty of room to heal all injuries. This was nothing yet. Noticing Denki to be stirring, Namie smiled down at him as she asked, "are you okay?" Hearing some sounds coming from ahead, Namie looked over at Izuku and Mela. She turned to Denki as she said, "they need your help, Denki-kun!" Yes, Denki her hero can save them!

Urgh. Mela wanted to yell at Denki and Namie to get a room already but she knew Namie probably needed the distraction from everything going on. She and the others were at this point, thanks to their combat training, were using to such chaos around them. Mela had to wonder how Ruka was doing with Todoroki and the two other boys. They be better looking after her! If Mela saw one hair out of place, she would be quite ticked off for their inability to protect someone so lovable! They continued to kick back the bots, Deku throwing punches while Mela hopped along and distracted them, almost acting a herder of sorts.

When Denki came back around he jumped in to help the others. Eventually they got them all clear, some of them managed to explode and take out a few more of its soulless comrades. Mela had a few mild burns and some bruises along her legs but it wasn't that bad really. She glanced to Namie, hoping she was okay. She was so sweet and Mela would also feel bad if something happened to her. A hero had to protect everyone. "Are you guys okay hanging back?" Deku called to Namie and Denki once the robots had been taken care of. Things looked okay but to be safe, he knew it was good to leave them behind in case the others caught up with them or more trouble headed their way.

Mela, Mike, Deku and Ochako ran ahead, the path finally clear for them. "We're so close." Mike said. They crossed a room with many serves and then to a large room with a fan that fed upwards into the night's sky. LIke a vent for the massive computer system. Hm, made sense. "I can use my quirk!" Ochako said. Deku and Mike gave each other a look before Deku wrapped his arms around the taller male as Ochako floated them up so they could make the rest of the way. Mela looked up but then heard someone approaching. She looked and stood in front of Ochako as a man stepped out from the shadows.

She pulled out the items Mike gave her and pressed the button, a small plastic bow suddenly clicking together. She did the same to the arrows and held them with her teeth. "You two girls look like fun." He smirked. "Fuck off." Mela said through gritted teeth. Mela knew the boys weren't there yet so she'd have to buy them and Ochako more time. The man held out his hands and large bear claws replaced his human hands. Mela gulped. He charged at her and swung. Mela fired her first arrow, telling herself not to kill the guy, that would be wrong. The arrow hit his shoulder but he still lunged and sliced her own shoulder, tearing it deeply. But it didn't really stop the guy.

Mela pushed Ochako further back by the fans as she nocked her second arrow. There wasn't any pain yet but she knew it would come soon. "The boss said we could have our fun." The man laughed as he lunged again. Mela kicked him back and did a flip, knocking her feet into his chin as she jumped down on and him grabbed the arrow lodged in his shoulder and pushed it in deeper. She then readied her next arrow as she fired it point blank at his other shoulder, forcing it further in by hand. With her final one, she collapsed it and put it away along with her bow, deciding this guy had enough, otherwise she'd start going after his eyes and genitals heh. Hehe, she liked to have fun too~

She got up and was about to check on Ochako and the boys when the man roared and got up and ran at Mela as her back was turned. Mela was pinned to the ground as the man pawed as her back. Mela rolled over and kicked him off of her and did a headstand before coming down hard on his chest with her ankles. She shows him mercy and this is what happens?! The pain was starting to kick in now as she dove for one of the discarded plastic arrows and the man charged again. She reached up and jammed it into his eye and then the other one, stabbing both rather viciously. He lashed out as she staggered back. He was blindly attacking now and she easily knocked him back down. "Stay there!" Mela growled, almost falling to her knees. The pain was too much. She felt sick to her stomach. But she knew she'd live.

Ochako looked up and released her quirk as the boys got to the top without incident. She ran over to Mela to check her deep wounds. Using Mela's purple shawl, she tied it up tightly to stop the bleeding on her shoulder. It looked bad but Mela seemed to be smiling for now. The man somehow got to his feet, holding his face, he let out a roar and charged at them. Before Ochako could jump onto Mela and float them both, a burst of fire came out of nowhere. Mela knew based on color it wasn't Ruka. It had to be Shoto or Bakugo maybe. She glanced around and saw a blond and a redhead heading their way. For once, Mela was relieved to see Bakugo.

The fights were tedious and a bit difficult to keep track of. He was used to one enemy at a time but this required a lot of juggling and balance. While Shoto was skilled, he couldn't keep an eye on everything which was when the trust of his classmates came into play. He knew they had the skills to get the job done. Suddenly a loud yell caused Shoto to take pause when he felt someone hit him and knock him down. He glared at Bakugo. Why was he just throwing an ally around the area like she was some sack of flour?! Could he be anymore reckless and careless?! He shook his head at her apology. If anyone should be saying that, it was that jerk, Bakugo. This was a fight, not some high school practice match!

A headache had already formed, having had to listen to Ruka and Bakugo's bickering. Their tempers were very much a weakness someone could easily exploit if they weren't careful. Luckily their enemies weren't exactly working together so it was easy for the four students to take turns and move where they were needed most. Once Ruka got up and suggested a plan, he nodded. "Sounds good to me." It was a good plan, one he often relied upon. Pin an enemy and then blast the away. But he would be quite happy to let Ruka enjoy that pleasure heh. Eyeing the area, he saw his opening and let loose a flurry of ice shards that entrapped their enemy just as planned.

"Of course, love." Shoto replied as he shifted his body and began to fire at the enemy. Shoto was glad these guys had been taken care of. He checked and put ice bonds on them, they were badly hurt and may not survive but if they did, they would be restrained just in case. Shoto and the others kept going, needing to check in with Deku and the rest. Suddenly upon entering a courtyard, they were under attack again. Shoto looked around and ran quickly but before he could notice what Ruka was up to, it was too late. He turned around, giving her a hard look. What was she doing?!

"Ruka!" He frowned. Why was she isolating herself? He could help her. The boy stood there in place, staring into her eyes. He didn't want to leave but he could tell this was something she wanted to do. "Okay. You better not break that promise." He smiled before Eijiro pulled him along. They ran for a while before Bakugo spoke up, "Leaving your woman to take care of things? Hah. Some man you are." "Shut up, she can handle herself." Shoto shot back, knowing Ruka would be just fine. He hoped anyway. He had these nagging doubts. If he had just used his ice, he could have joined her but no...now wasn't the time for fighting one another. If she wanted to let them go ahead, so be it. She knew what she was capable of taking on. Even if his heart felt like it had been broken in two.

Soon the boys lingered to catch their breath in a corridor. There was no way Ruka wouldn't find them as this was the only path they could take. Hearing someone behind him, he motioned for Bakugo and Kirishima to go on ahead. He'd handle this. But instead of an enemy, it was Ruka. He pulled her into his arms, his worries quickly washing away. He pulled back and noticed most of her dress was gone and her hair was a bit messy. "Are you okay? What happened?" He then took her hands in his and paled. She was hurt. He shouldn't have left her. No, he couldn't think that way. This was whoever attacked her's fault. Still, he did fell responsible for her injury. He quickly removed his tie and bandaged up her hand as best he could, worry crashing over his face in waves as he kissed her hand. Namie could heal her, right? Yes, she would be okay.

Leaning in, he kissed her softly. "I hope that guy got what was coming to him." Shoto said before he could stop himself. He then spotted another figure behind Ruka and pushed her out of the way as he readied his own flames. Now he was pissed and ready to make someone pay. The figure threw knives and Shoto launched a wide scale flamethrower, his shirt and blazer catching on fire in the process. He quickly shook them off as they were now ash, as the man came out of hiding, only mildly burnt. Shoto looked over his shoulder to Ruka. "Heh seems like we're losing our clothes so easily." He said, trying to make light of this tense situation as the man in the suit threw several knifes, some laced with poison at the pair. "Let's take care of this loser shall we, hun?" He smirked. Now that he had her by his side again, he once again felt truly invincible.

At Shota's question, she was silent. Was he really asking because he cared or because he thought he should ask? She glanced off. She was tied up, not much was happening to her but she knew All Might had to be in trouble. As a new staff member, she knew about his condition. Still, she knew he had to be in worse shape than anyone here. When Aizawa ended up stealing the attention away from All Might, she wanted to roll her eyes. Boys. But still, she got why he did it. "I'm fine." She just said. She couldn't even fly in these restraints. Maybe if she had her broom she could do something? No it was too heavy to really lift in her state. And judging by how Aizawa was, his scarf's ability had to be tied to his quirk somehow since he wasn't using it. "I'm just glad these floors are clean." She joked lightly. "I guess tied up like this, no one has to hear All Might make his speech huh?"

- - -

In his stupor, he thought about how soft her lips felt against his face. Ah yes...Namie-chan~ His eyes snapped open when he heard someone say they needed a hero! He could be that hero! But his day dreams of Namie were cut short but that still didn't mean they couldn't come true someday right? "I-I'm on it!" He jumped into action. "Thanks Namie-chan!" He called out to her as he helped Deku and Uede. Soon enough the bots had been dealt with. He waved the others on ahead. He could handle anymore trouble! He gave Namie a thumbs up, not wanting her to worry. He would be careful and not overdo it again.

A few minutes passed and another wave of robots came for them. "Stay behind me." Denki said. It was a shame he didn't have his gear but he'd make it work. He had to tackle one to two robots at a time, using direct contact instead of letting his quirk go haywire, not wanting to accidentally hit Namie with his volts. No no, that would be very bad. As they kept coming, Denki could feel his own strength being drained. He hadn't fought this hard in a long time. At school, he limited his power but here, he had to judge how much to use.But by now he had a good feeling as to how much charge to overload the bots with.

Though he quirk wasn't very flashy, heh, it did get the job done. He just told himself a little more, each time. He needed a little more to protect Namie and all the other people on this island. And that gave him a bit extra each time. As the bots slowed down, Denki felt rather glad. He wanted them to catch up with the others so they could help out and if anyone needed healing, He hoped no one was hurt though. Denki hurried over to Namie, staggering a bit. No, he had to keep going. He had to be brave and strong. He couldn't rely on Namie's healing. Not again. Others may need it and he didn't want to be a burden. He was a hero. Her hero maybe?

"I think we can keep going now." Hopefully this had bought the others enough time. The blond began to weakly catch his breath as he placed an arm around Namie, mostly needing her physical support at the moment. After so many stairs and running and fighting, he felt like this whole thing had to have been thought up by Aizawa and this was some horrible test. Like their summer camp. He gave Namie a smile and thumbs up after leaning against her for a few moments. "Let's keep going." He smiled. Even though he wished she was somewhere safer, he was really glad to have her by his side. Not many other girls would support him and face danger head on. "You are really amazing Namie-chan." He couldn't help but smile as he leaned in and brushed his lips against hers, his brain just doing what it wanted heh. And it wanted to kiss Namie-chan.

Shota let out a small scoff at her words. He gave her an amused look as he told her, "uh huh, well I guess I am quite glad to not have to hear a corny speech." He was joking of course, but he can do without hearing All Might speak. The image of Mela heading to All Might instead of him was still burned in his mind. It hurt. A lot. A lot more than he thought. He didn't think it'd be this bad, but to see Mela with All Might was actually painful. Shota didn't know why, but it made him sick to the stomach. There was nothing for him to worry about, but why did his heart hurt whenever he saw Mela speaking with All Might? Why? He was thankful for Ayumi's jokes since it kept him distracted for now. But just how much longer can they stay like this? "I'm going to get a cramp in this position.." Shota muttered out as he tried to move into a more suitable position, but a sudden kick reminded him of their situation. Maybe he can just sleep? He can't really use his quirk since the villains had guns and he couldn't quite get his scarf out when his arms were bound. Really, what a tight situation.

As he coughed out a bit of blood, All Might clenched his jaws. No, he cannot give in now. He mustn't lose! He had to have faith in his students and just wait. That was all he could do right now. But it was just so frustrating and the worry for his students and Mela just kept growing more and more in his heart. When Aizawa-kun directed the villains' attention away from him, All Might looked over. No! What was he doing?! He couldn't even protect his own fellow heroes in this situation! What kind of hero was he!? As he was lost in thought, the masked man stood up as he yelled into the earpiece, "why the hell are you all struggling against mere kids!? Where are they? I'm coming right now." All Might's eyes widened. One part of him was quite proud of his students for defeating the villains, but another part of him was beyond worried as the masked man walked out of the reception hall. The number of villains in here were lessening...but there were still plenty of civilians here. He can't risk it. Not yet.

As Todoroki gave him the damn orders, Katsuki yelled at the half and half as he continued running ahead with Eijiro, "Shut up! Don't give me orders!" Ignoring the smirk Eijiro sent his way, Katsuki led the way until they ran past some fried up robots and was that Denki and that green tea girl? Ignoring the two, Katsuki continued running forward. They weren't in need, they weren't his enemies. Simple as that. As he emerged outside in what seemed to be surrounded by large windmills, Katsuki kept running when he spotted a villain up ahead. He noticed that there was that annoying brunette and round face too. Smirking, Katsuki sent a large explosion to the man, the sparks covering him as he then landed on top of the guy with his feet kicking his stomach. Placing a hand on the man's head, which he must say was quite bloody, Katsuki yelled out, "go to hell!" With a close range explosion, the man was down for the count. He turned his ruby hues to Uede and round face, "what? Couldn't even beat this loser?" Katsuki taunted out though his expression turned serious as he noted the injuries on Mela. Turning around, him and Eijiro defeated the rest of the robots until Denki arrived with the healer. As his eyes landed on Todoroki and Ruka, Katsuki felt a bit of relief to know that Pinky was safe. If he saw the real state Ruka was in before Namie healed her, well Katsuki would have probably been ticked she got so hurt and then proceed on yelling at her for being stupid and that he could have done a better job. Which also translated into letting him deal with it so she wouldn't have gotten so hurt. Why were these transfer students so damn stubborn!?

Ruka gave Shoto a reassuring smile before turning around. She smirked as she lifted a flaming hand up as she spoke up once more, "oh come on! I know you're just hiding, but I saw you! Stop hiding already!" Or should she just make them come out? Her hands lit up as she slammed both palms down onto the ground, sending out a flurry of black flames, creating a sea of flames surrounding the courtyard, creating a circle. Ruka glanced down at her dress, noting it to be fireproof, must be Yukito's doing. Heh, at least it was coming to good use now! A cursing sound was heard as a figure suddenly appeared a few yards from her. Looking over, Ruka's eyes narrowed. Oh? Did this person have some sort of invisibility quirk like Hagakure? Before she can even begin to think of how to counter such a quirk, the man spoke up in an oddly creepy monotone voice, "that hurt. You will pay for that little girl."

Ruka smirked as she took a step back, "I'd like to see you try." The man suddenly vanished into thin air. Her eyes widened as she didn't see anything happen. Was it super speed or was it--!? As Ruka looked around, trying to find him, she felt a sudden kick to her back, making her fall forward. Grunting, she felt that she couldn't stand up and that there was an odd weight on her back. W-what was going on!? Letting out a sound, Ruka felt her hair being pulled back rather roughly, her long strands coming undone from her one fancy looking bun. "You will pay." The man spoke again from behind Ruka. She cracked her eyes open, her hands reaching behind her to grab hold of his hand while a burst of flame erupted from her back. A hiss was heard as the weight was lifted off of her. Rolling back to standing, Ruka looked around. This had to be invisibility, right!? But unlike Hagakure, it seemed like he can control whether to be seen or not. How troublesome.

If she can't see him, then she'll just have to burn the whole place down. Heh. Smirking, she began to fire out her flames as she circled around, aiming to light this whole place up. This was an easy solution, right? Though it seemed like the little ghost decided to play like a villain as she heard his voice from behind, "stop it. That hurts." Ruka was being thrown around with kicks and punches directed her way. She was barely keeping up and blocking from him knocking her out by hitting her face. This was really annoying! As he kneed her in the stomach, Ruka let out a cough a bit of blood coming out. She slumped to the floor, coughing. This was getting really tiring as her flames haven't hit him yet. And to keep all these flames under her control without letting it go wild was exhausting as it was.

Trying to catch her breath, Ruka looked up from her position on the ground. She noticed a bit of blood flying in the air. Huh? Was that from earlier when she coughed out blood...? Or was the guy injured? No, he didn't seem injured at all...so that must mean it was her's. An idea came to mind, but before that, she had to check out a few things in order to be a hundred percent sure. Standing back up, Ruka wiped the blood off her lips as she smirked, her eyes shining, "are you seriously hiding from me? What? Scared that a little pink-haired girl is going to beat you?" Because she will make that happen. "You can't even throw a decent punch! You make me laugh." Ruka chuckled as she felt a gust of wind as the man appeared in front of her, readying his fist to punch her. Smirking, Ruka dodged the punch at the last second as she bent over to raise her leg up to kick the man right back into his stomach. Payback bitch. The man coughed out some blood and soon turned invisible. Ruka looked around and noticed that the blood wasn't visible. She smirked. Alright, now she can get this over with.

But how was she execute her plan? As she was lost in thought, a sudden gunshot was heard as Ruka covered her body with her flames at the last second. She fell to the ground, letting out a pained groan. She can already feel the bruises forming all over her from the beating that she received from him. Another gunshot was heard as Ruka rolled to the side, this time it skimming past her arm. She grit her teeth as a trickle of blood fell down her arm. Not enough. Standing back up, Ruka's eyes glowed briefly as the entire courtyard was in flames. She coughed as blood was seen on the corner of her lips. Her entire body felt like it was slowly being burned as it hurt. It stung, it hurt to breathe...she knew she was pushing her quirk at the moment, but now was not the time to just give in! She can't! She promised Shoto that she'll come after them. It was a promise!

Eyes snapping open, Ruka ripped off her long layer as she tossed it in front of her, covering what seemed to be a figure as the gun became visible right in front of her. The gunshot was heard loud and clear as blood slowly dripped down. She smirked as she held the gun in her hand, a gaping bloody hole in her hand being the only sign of who took the bullet. Ruka staggered a bit before she aimed a quick punch to the guy, but instead, it became a slap last second as she smeared her bloody hand over him. The guy soon disappeared as Ruka fell to her knees, panting. Knowing that she couldn't feel the pain because of the adrenaline, Ruka's eyes frantically searched the area. It had to work! A short gasp was heard as Ruka spotted what she's been planning all along. If she can't send a flame to him, then she'll just have to burn him directly! Her eyes lit up as a sudden scream was heard, the once invisible man was now visible, writhing to the ground as black flames consumed him.

Closing one eye as it bled out, Ruka staggered to her feet. She watched as she released the flames surrounding them, only the flame on him still dancing about. Her eyes were blank as the shouts of pain was soon gone and silence filled the area. The flames were extinguished as Ruka closed her eyes. It was done. The man was probably too burnt to even move...if he was lucky, he may be alive. Maybe. Turning around, Ruka slowly made her way through the door and into the corridors. Her entire body felt like it was burned from the inside out, the hole in her hand was making its pain known to her now as Ruka moved through the hallways. Her body only moving by her will alone. By her promise to Shoto. Slowly making her way, Ruka looked ahead to see Shoto. She smiled in relief, flinching when he held her. Ah, that hurts a bit. Looking up at him, Ruka can only give him a reassuring smile as she croaked out, "I promised you, didn't I?"

Watching as he wrapped her bleeding hand gently, Ruka murmured out, "I'm sorry..." she knew he was probably blaming himself, but it really wasn't his fault. Giving him a grin, she told him, "oh don't worry, he did and then some." Just as she was about to ask for another kiss, Shoto pushed her out of the way. At the appearance of another villain, Ruka held back a groan. They really can't get even a second to rest!? Looking over at Shoto as his shirt was now burned off, Ruka blinked. Oh, suddenly she felt much better. She smiled over at her lover as she came to stand beside him. Her flames lit up the knives, melting it before it can reach them as she closed one of her eyes, "mmm, yes. Let's finish this once and for all." She leaned against Shoto, kissing his bare arm as she glared over at the man. Really, these villains should just learn when to give up! With a combined attack of her and Shoto's flames, the man in the suit was quickly defeated. As they made their way up, Ruka explained to Shoto the one she had to deal with by herself, "he was like a human chameleon, the most annoying thing ever." As they kept moving forward, the two ran into Denki and Namie. Thankfully, Namie healed Ruka up as she was already way past her limit. She probably only kept going this far so as to not worry Shoto.

After getting healed, Ruka glanced worriedly over at Namie in Denki's arms. She felt bad that the girl had to suffer because of her. If Ruka knew that Namie felt her burns, then she would never have asked to get healed. The curse of her quirk was a painful one after all. As they arrived at what seemed to be a large clearing with windmills, Ruka looked ahead to see Mela. Her heart sank as she spotted the blood seeping out of her friend's body but Namie was--her blue eyes were wide as she watched Namie slowly make her way over to where Mela stood. Not only did the green haired girl heal her best friend, but she went over and healed everyone else that was injured. Ruka was amazed, but as Namie fell forward, Ruka looked on in worry.

Watching Denki jump up and run into the fight brought a smile of relief onto Namie's face. She was glad to see that he was alright. Getting up herself, Namie was more than ready to help out with the fight, but it seemed like they were all fine. She stayed in the back so as to not get in their way. Noticing the burns on Mela, Namie stepped forward, wanting to heal her but she and Deku were already running ahead as Denki told them to go on ahead. She can only give them a small smile as Namie waved at the two. She'll heal Mela later then! She smiled over to Denki and stood beside him as they were both tense, waiting to see what would happen next. It was as if they were in some sort of video game.

Soon enough another wave of robots came towards them. Stepping back to hide behind Denki, Namie felt a bit useless as she felt like she was getting in the way of everyone. She bit her lower lip as she can only watch Denki fight, feeling quite helpless. The only thing she can do right now is cheer for Denki and that she did, quite loudly might she add. Once all the robots have been destroyed, Namie hurried over to help support the now exhausted looking Denki. Her eyes were filled with worry as she looked up at him, "Denki-kun! Are you okay?" She kept an arm wrapped around him as she held him up. Maybe she should heal him again? But judging from how he was, she knew he wasn't critically hurt or anything. If anything a bit tired out, but that was about it.

As she was about to suggest that they should rest for a few more minutes, she paused as he leaned closer to her. Her heart began to beat loudly in her chest as she stared up at him with wide eyes. Her mouth parted to tell him that it was him who was amazing when he suddenly leaned over and kissed her. Namie's entire face turned red as she can only look up at him. W-What!? D-Did he just k-k-k-kiss here!? M-Maybe he was just tired? She wasn't sure if it was an accident or on purpose, but she felt her lips tingling from that brief kiss. She hid her face against his chest in embarrassment before getting a hold of herself. What was she doing!? No, no. She shouldn't be getting all happy and embarrassed over a k-kiss! No, not now! Smiling up at Denki, Namie kept her arm around him as she began to lead the way as she told him, "you're the amazing one, Denki-kun...let's go slowly...I'm a bit tired from all the stairs ehe." She was tired, that was the truth, but she just used herself as an excuse so that Denki can take it easy for a bit longer.

As the two continued on their way up, they heard some voices from behind and Namie's grip tightened on Denki as she wondered if it was an enemy!? What should they do?! As Namie was contemplating whether she can just fight, she blinked as she found it to be the others. Noticing the state Ruka was in, Namie rushed forward after looking over at Denki, "Kurotsuki-chan! Are you alright?" She looked over Ruka's wounds and frowned. Just what on earth happened?! Placing her hands over Ruka's, Namie gave the Pinkette a kind smile before looking over at the worried Shoto as she told him, "don't worry, I'll heal her right up." Ruka's pained expression slowly turned to one of peace as she blinked slowly looking up at Namie. To her surprise, Ruka's hand was completely healed without a single gaping hole to be seen. It seemed like Namie even healed the burns covering her arms and even her insides!? "T-thank you..." Ruka murmured out in amazement. This healing quirk was just amazing!

Namie smiled but as she stood up, she felt herself staggering slightly. The injuries on Ruka was quite a lot...it was amazing to see the Pinkette was still conscious after all those burns. Namie felt her entire body burning up slightly, she winced as she held up a hand to reassure the panicked looking Ruka, "i-it's okay...this is just a side effect of my quirk..." after all, how can such an amazing healing quirk have no side effects, right? As Denki insisted on carrying Namie for the rest of the way, the matcha haired girl caved in as she wrapped her arms around Denki, too tired to care about her attire. As they arrived up the last flight of stairs, the sounds of explosions and cursing were heard. It seemed like they found the rest. Spotting the injured Mela and a few others, Namie wiggled free from Denki's hold. She gave him a reassuring smile as she told him, "please...let me." She hasn't been of use until now, why should they stop her?

Walking over, Namie felt a bit refreshed thanks to Denki carrying her and so she knelt down in front of Mela who seemed the worst out of the rest there. Placing her hand on Mela's, Namie gave her a kind smile as she told her, "please don't resist Uede-chan...please let me help." After somehow persuading the brunette, Namie began to heal Mela's injuries away, feeling the pain of each cut, Namie murmured out softly, "it must have hurt huh...I'm sorry you had to go through that, Uede-chan." Once Namie was finished healing Mela, the only telltale sign that she had been hurt being the holes in her clothes. Wiping her brow, Namie turned to the rest who were hurt. She moved onto Momo, Kyoka, Tenya and even Mineta. After having made sure everyone was healed and no longer in pain, Namie slid to the ground. Her breathing was shallow as her eyes seemed to not focus as she felt a fever beginning to course through her system. She could feel the stings of the all too familiar paralysis coming as Namie slumped forward, unable to move her body now. Ah...was she in the way of everyone again? Namie closed her eyes, unable to keep them open with all the pain coursing through her body. She understood everyone's pain...and she was glad to be able to take it away.

"Oi! Shut up!" Mela shot back at Bakugo's comment. She did all that she could while keeping Ochako safe. If Ochako wasn't around, then Mela would have made sure the guy was taken care of. She finally settled to the ground, she could feel how deep the wounds were and she was quite glad she couldn't see the damage but based on Katuski and Uraraka's expressions it was pretty bad. The bloodloss she could feel, it felt like a lot, and now it was all down her pretty dress too. Beginning to feel light headed, Mela watched as the boys went handle the rest of the robots that were closing in. Ochako gave Bakugo a look before she waited with Mela, thanking her for being so brave and a little scary.

Mela looked up when she saw Denki, Namie, Ruka and Shoto coming up along with Bakugo and Eijiro bringing up the rear. It appeared as though things had all been handled. Mela was so happy to see Ruka okay but there was a nagging feeling Ruka had been hurt and perhaps Namie had healed her before they had rejoined the main group. Mela noticed Namie looking a bit tired too and frowned, backing away. "N-no this is fine!" If she didn't move, it was fine! "D-don't waste your quirk on me. There will be others who need it." Mela whimpered, flinching slightly. Sighing, she decided it was easier to just go along with it and not waste time.

The pain began to inch further away as she sighed, feeling her body begin to repair itself. Hideo's healing quirk was never this painless. When he healed her, she could feel everything heal under his touch and it hurt. A lot. The tissue, the nerves, she had to think all healers were that cruel but somehow, she was surprised to find Namie made things quite painless and a little warming. "Thank you Namie-san." Mela said, finally able to get to her feet without any pain. Mela decided she would make Namie a wonderful tart of some sort to thank her for this. Mela hurried over and pulled Ruka into a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're okay!" She kissed her friend's forehead.

As Tenya and the other classmates from 3-A hurried to the cooling room, as nowhere else was really accessible, they all got healed up as needed. Mela thought back to Shota and Toshinori but her thoughts were mostly with Toshinori. She was still a bit annoyed with Shota but this did put things into perspective. A few white lies wasn't so bad right? Shoto used his quirk to send everyone up to the top to help Deku and Michael. Michael had by now gotten to the controls and had begun to reboot the entire island's security system. The robots had no longer detected the civilians as a threat and the pro heroes had been released from their binds.

Mike and Deku were gone right now which allowed the others to rest a bit longer. Mela looked down at her bloody hands, only some of it was hers heh. She took out her bow again and her final arrow, doubting this was where things suddenly improved. No, their fight wasn't over yet. Just because the system was back online and functioning, didn't meant the people responsible were going to surrender and make things easy. Mela and the others headed for the roof as they heard a helicopter begin to take off. The group burst open the door and saw not only Deku, but also All Might and the others. All Might was okay! And Shota! Mela was so very thankful but it looked like Michael's dad was being taken as a hostage! "Deku! All Might!" She called out.

Shoto tried not to dwell on the injuries Ruka had sustained. He tried not to belittle himself for her making the call to go on her on. While on one hand, she could make it, he hated how she had made it without consulting him or anyone else she was fighting alongside. She couldn't be so reckless. She could have been severely hurt or killed and he wouldn't have lived with himself if something horrible had happened to Ruka because he let her go off on her own. If she had listened to their lectures at school, she would know how dangerous it was to isolate yourself from your allies. One of them should have stayed back and Shoto knew it should have been himself. Why hadn't he pushed back and joined her fight?

Those thoughts haunted him and he knew this guilt would live with him for a while. Even though Ruka gave him a smile, he knew her better than that. She fought too dangerously, like her body didn't matter to her. It hurt to see her do such things to herself and he wished someday she'd understand how he felt when he watched her fight and get hurt. But for now, they had one more guy to take care of before they could track down the others and provide backup as needed. He stood beside Ruka and aimed a wave of ice at the man, preventing him from throwing anymore stupid projectiles at them.

As the smoke and steam cleared, he looked to Ruka, kissing her once more before they hurried along. He was glad she wasn't too hurt though he didn't the internal extent of her injuries. He did hold back from telling her worried he was and how upset he was, no she could read that in his eyes no doubt and he just wanted them to keep going. If he stood and thought about the guy Ruka had to face, he would either start crying or he'd go back and make sure the guy was taken care of, with a few well well placed icy spikes in his body heh. They caught up to Namie and Denki who needed help with a few stray robotos. Shoto froze them while Namie tended to Ruka's injuries.

"Let's go." Shoto said, wanting to keep moving. They met up with Eijiro, Bakugo, Ochako and Mela. After Namie healed Mela, the other stragglers caught up with them. Gazing up at the dark sky, Shoto had everyone get together so he could propel them upwards like before. Everyone looked tired but at least they were uninjured now. Shoto owed Namie a great debt for healing Ruka of her wounds and he had to thank Denki as well. It was because of him, Namie was hanging around them, putting herself in harms way. Using his ice, he created a large platform that lifted them up the rest of the way, everyone voicing their thanks for not needing to climb anymore damn stairs.

Once up everyone got off they collected themselves. It was almost over right? Shoto went over to Ruka and put an arm around her. It didn't take long to hear the system announce that things were now stable and the system was working properly. He kissed her temple, but then they heard some commotion as well as gunshots. Then a helicopter sounded and the group ran up to the roof. So maybe one more flight of stairs? Shoto got out and saw Deku running after a helicopter. What was going on?! Shoto readied both his ice and fire hands, he was drained but still capable of fighting. He could hear Bakugo calling out to Deku as the pro heroes appeared, in pursuit of the man behind all of this torment. Shoto was ready to unleash some pain. He would take his frustrations about the guy who hurt Ruka, and give them to their enemies. Yes, he'd like that.

Ayumi would have yelled at Aizawa if she caught him sleeping at a time like this. She thought back to the kids, she had only been at UA for a month now, but she was already impressed by them. She had to hope with the combined powers of Uede, Kurotsuki, Bakugo and Todoroki and Midoriya, things would be okay. She felt ashamed all of the pro heroes were unable to do anything. She shifted her legs a little, hoping no one was looking at her in her short dress. Letting out a sigh, she closed her eyes and rested her forehead against the floor. Everything was aching but she had to know the kids had to be in a whole other world of pain. But they had a healer supposedly right?

Suddenly the alarm sounded and their binds were released the system somehow rebooting. So they did it! Ayumi jumped up and planted a hard kick into the nearest villain and knocked him to the wall before she grabbed his neck and threw him down on the floor. By the sounds of it the other heroes were making quick work of their captives but the main guy had already gone up ahead. "You two go on ahead, I'll make sure everything is okay down here!" Ayumi said. She helped the people out of the building and helped those on the street. It seemed like the robots had been re-programmed to retreat, sensing no real threat now.

Flying around, she checked on those who needed help before she flew up toward the highest point of the tower. She could hear some fighting and spotted the students. The girls without their shoes and some of the males without shirts. She arched a brow and held back an amused look as she landed by them, intending to take them down to safety when the main villain appeared to power up drastically. All she could do now was keep the kids safe. If she tried moving them away, it would only make them a bigger target for the foe to attack. For now she had to leave this to All Might and...Midoriya it seemed.

It was hard to say what had come over him. Maybe it was the danger or Namie's kindness but he just kissed her. Or tried to give his current state. He blinked down at her, almost unsure if he had in fact kissed her. It was very light, gentle. But genuine. Denki was glad to rest a bit longer before Ruka and Shoto joined them. Denki hurried over to see Ruka bleeding and wincing. He turned back to Namie, hating to ask her to use her quirk so soon. He really didn't know the extent of its use but he couldn't see Ruka hurt and he gave Shoto a look for this even happening. Shoto looked off, silently agreeing and accepting Denki's anger.

Seeing Namie stumble, he scooped her up in his arms. She was pushing herself too hard, that had become quite clear. "I've got you, don't worry." Denki gave her a smile. "Let me take care of you." He said softly as he thought about how her quirk was and how it had to be taking some kind of toll on her. She had reacted each time he had seen her use it and Denki would have to question Namie more about these side effects of hers. The four of them hurried to Uede and Uraraka, surprised to see the two other boys had caught up as well. But how they even get to the cooling room without Denki noticing? Was there another way? Those two really knew how to get around without meaning to heh.

Upon seeing Uede in bad shape, Denki tightened his grip on Namie, knowing she'd have to go help but it hurt to have him think Namie was hurting herself in the process of healing others. He frowned but slowly nodded as he put her back down so she could take care of his classmate. Denki lingered, pacing back and forth but it didn't take long at all. Namie was both quick and painless it seemed. He was proud to know someone like her who was so thoughtless. Mineta, Momo and the others caught up with them, their injuries pretty minor but there were some burns and cuts to tend to.

When Namie had finished, Denki rushed to her side as she laid down. "Namie-chan!" He called out, putting a hand to her forehead. He brushed her hair and looked to the others but knew he couldn't be mad at them. Namie insisted she do this. He picked her up in his arms, a bit worried she wasn't protesting or voicing her issues with him doing so. She had to be in a lot of pain. He tried to be gentle as he walked over and had Shoto push them up to meet Izuku and Michael. Denki had no idea what they would find but he knew it was thanks to Namie that they all were ready for another fight. But surely it had to be almost over! They were so close!

Upon reaching the top, they climbed off the ice structure and climbed in through an open window and found themselves in another room, that led off to the controls but also up to the roof. Everyone lingered to catch their breath before sounds could be heard from the control room. They all waited and heard a helicopter. Denki kept hold of Namie, not sure if he should follow the group outside or not. He looked down at the girl in his arms and decided he had to go out and see what was going on. Tagging along with Mineta and Ochako who were also a bit rattled, Denki was surprised to see All Might and Izuku outside. And who was the big guy with the mask? Denki held onto Namie and kissed her forehead. "It's almost over, I promise." All Might would save them, he had to!

How long has it been since the lockdown? All Might can feel even more blood well up inside his mouth as he stopped himself from reverting back to his normal form. No, he must hold on! He believed in his students and as the sound of the shutters opening while the strong restraints tying them down was gone in an instant, All Might knew that they have won. Smile brightening, he stood up and got rid of the last villain there as he heard Ayumi call out to him and Aizawa. Yes, there was no need to tell him twice! All Might ran through the doors and decided to just go up the side of the building. Powering up his legs, he jumped high into the air, easily reaching the top of the building though he didn't stop there. No. He saw the helicopter taking off from the rooftop and he knew that things were going south. But not anymore! Why? Because he is here!

Jumping up to the same level as the helicopter, All Might spoke up, "where do you think you are going?" He sent a smashing punch towards the helicopter but he made sure to punch the air and not the helicopter directly. As it began to swirl out of control, All Might jumped down and brought it crashing down to the roof. He was able to grab David out from the mess but before he can safely place David down on the ground, a sudden large metal punched him out of the way, dropping David on the ground. Hands pushing back on the metal pillar, All Might punched it to small pieces as he and Midoriya Shounen teamed up to fight the villain. Seems like he was the mastermind behind of all this.

Glancing to the side, All Might was shocked to see Mela and the others there as well. The split moment of his distraction was his downfall as he was suddenly crushed from all sides by large metal pillars and then suddenly metal spikes pierced through. He was somehow lucky to not have gotten hit, only a few scratches here and there and maybe one stabbing into his thigh, but it was nothing. He was slowly losing power as he has been in his muscle form for way too long, but he cannot give in now! He tried to fight against the metals crushing him, but it was futile. Struggling, All Might wondered if this was the end when he was suddenly free! Looking down, he noticed his students were helping him and that brought forth another bout of energy for him as he and Midoriya Shounen put an end to the fight.

Standing among the rubble and ruins of what once was a rooftop, All Might watched as the sun slowly rised and began to shine its light upon them. He smiled as he knew that once again, heroes have won and the villains have lost. Looking over at his students, All Might smiled even more. Yes, there was a bright future ahead of them all and he cannot wait to see them blossom. Wincing, he coughed as he felt steam slowly rolling off of him. Ah...he really should get going, but first...his eyes scanned the area for brown hair. Spotting Mela, he felt relief spread through his system as he saw that she wasn't hurt. Thank goodness. As much as he would love to go over and make sure she was safe, he saw Aizawa there and knew it wasn't his place to do anything. His chest ached painfully, but he kept a smile on his face as he was just glad to see she was safe. As long as she was safe and happy, he didn't need anything else.

If it took any longer, Shota was positive he would have fallen asleep. Joke or no joke. Suddenly the sound of an alarm and the restraints that tied him down was gone. Feeling the blood rushing back to his limbs, Shota's eyes opened as he stood up and immediately punched the guy who kicked him earlier. Shoving his foot hard into the villain's stomach, Shota smirked down at him as he said, "stay down and stay quiet." After knocking the man out, he looked over to see how All Might was faring. The blonde superhero was already rushing out just as the words left Ayumi's lips. He looked over at her briefly but nodded his head as he ran out behind All Might. Shota cursed under his breath, wondering how he can get to the very top. Surely just going in an elevator would take some time.

In the end, Shota decided on using the stairs. Unlike All Might or Ayumi, he didn't have any super strength or flying quirks to get him up there instantly, but he did have his own ways. Unwrapping the scarf from his body, Shota began to skip through the stairs as he simply used his scarf to keep catapulting himself up bit by bit. Soon enough he arrived at the rooftop where he could hear where most of the commotion was happening. Just as he arrived, it seemed like All Might did as well. Shota was out of breath as he will say he didn't do that bad in getting up here if he was able to catch up to All Might. He looked around and spotted Mela among the other students of his. He felt relieved to see she wasn't hurt, but somehow those holes on her dress told him otherwise. Frowning, Shota assisted All Might for a bit until a large metal block came falling on top of him. Ouch.

Seeing All Might get crushed and then skewered, Shota's eyes widened in disbelief. No...they couldn't lose. As he was so shocked, Midoriya moved ahead of everyone and broke free the metals surrounding All Might. Snapping out of his stupor, Shota placed his goggles on, trying to stop the man from using his quirk, but there were multiple quirks at work in him. What the hell!? Shota was positive he canceled out his quirk, was it the device that was preventing it from being canceled out? Cursing under his breath, Shota can only help All Might by keeping the metal pillars from hitting them. As All Might and Midoriya executed the last blow, everyone shouted for them and for victory. Shota watched silently, knowing that they can't lose. Not when their Symbol of Peace was around. He smirked as sounds of cheering was heard while the sun slowly sneaked up on them.

Glancing over at the rising sun, Shota let out a sigh as he cracked his neck. That was a long night. Looking around, he spotted Mela and walked over to her and the rest. He looked over everyone and noted them to be all unharmed. Strange. He lifted a brow at them in question before spotting the green haired girl in Denki's arms. Ah. Everything clicked in him as he frowned. U.A owed a lot to her for saving their students. He turned to Mela and called out to her, "Mela." Was she alright? Was she still mad...? He frowned, unsure of what to say or do.

Once everyone was healed, they began to head up to assist Izuku and Mike. Ruka stood by Shoto as his ice began to propel everyone up to the last floor. At least the system was back on and they won't be having to use stairs...or not. Ruka held back a groan as they began to head up the stairs towards the rooftop, hearing loud commotions from there. As they arrived at the rooftop, Ruka's eyes hardened as she saw Izuku running towards the helicopter. What was going on!? Though before they can do anything about it, All Might appeared and for once Ruka was glad to see him. Things seemed to be going in their favor for the first half of the fight until the villain used David's gear. Ruka felt the ground quake as the villain brought out large metal rods which seemed to have crushed All Might.

She placed a hand over her mouth, unable to make a sound as metal rods stabbed into where All Might was stuck. No! She glanced briefly over at Mela, her hand reaching out to grab her friend. Holding her friend's face to make her face Ruka. Ruka spoke up, "Mel! Believe in him! And think of what you can do to help, don't just rush out there just to die!" Ruka was not going to let her friend act all reckless. As Izuku helped free All Might and the two began to charge towards the villain. As Shoto and Katsuki helped stall the metal for Izuku and All Might to pass through, Ruka knew she has to help too. Running over to stand beside Shoto, Ruka held her hands up and began to fire out her own flames to melt the large blocks of metal. They were not going to give up! She grits her teeth, ignoring the pain growing beneath her skin. No, she can't let Namie take in any more damage! Meanwhile, Mike was calling for his father, looking to see where David was.

As the fight came to a finish, Ruka was panting as she looked over at the battered form of All Might and Izuku. D-did they win? Seeing the unconscious villain, relief flooded Ruka's body as she fell to the ground. Looking up at Shoto, she gave him a happy smile as the sun began to rise on them. "We did it....we won!" It was such a relief to know that. Now that everything was done and over with, Ruka can finally relax. She was happy to know that she was able to help. Was this what it meant to be a hero? She could still feel the excitement and adrenaline pumping through her veins and she knew one thing. Being a hero was nice. Standing up, Ruka walked over to Shoto, wrapping her arms around him as she murmured out, "it's done...we won, Shoto. We won." Pulling back, she smiled up at him happily.

It really took a toll on her body if she healed too many injuries, especially major ones. But the ones Ruka and Mela had were just too much. It hurt Namie just seeing those two hurt and knowing she could do something to take away the pain, well how can she just sit back and watch them suffer? Even as she couldn't feel her body, Namie didn't feel an ounce of regret as she knew she would do this over and over again if it meant easing other's pain. She never did like seeing others in pain. She felt someone's voice calling out to her, but her eyes just felt so heavy and she knew it was impossible. Her body was in a paralyzed mode at the moment, she wouldn't be able to move even if she wanted to. Was Denki okay!? How was everyone else doing?

She felt quite warm despite the fever running her down as she felt close to someone. But who? She just wanted to open her eyes and see for herself who it was. Was it Denki? She hoped so. She wondered how everyone was doing. Hopefully, they weren't worried over her. She didn't want to be a burden to them...she just wanted to help. Can she never be helpful without feeling so useless? It's no wonder she wasn't at U.A, she was nothing compared to those attending U.A. And Namie couldn't help but admire them for that. For their courage and sense of justice. They were definitely what one would call the future heroes and Namie was excited to see them all grow.

As she felt a warm touch on her forehead, her body slowly eased down the pain. As if whatever just touched her was healing her. Like that was possible. But at the thought of someone else being hurt or worse, that Denki was hurt...her teal hues slowly fluttered open. Sunlight...? Dazed and confused, Namie tried to gather her surroundings as she just laid there. Wait, what? Slowly looking up, Namie murmured out softly, "D-enki-kun...?" Was she seeing things? Although her body was still stiff and numb, she was able to get her speech back and sight. That was a good progress already. Hearing sounds of joy, Namie couldn't help but wonder, have they won...? The warm rays of the sun shining down on them slowly told Namie that yes. Yes they did win.

Her joy in seeing All Might okay was short lived as slabs of metal came towards him. "All Might!" She cried out, beginning to go after him. There had to be something she could go but she felt Ruka grab her. Her heart sank as she felt tears welling up in her eyes. He could survive right? She nodded to Ruka as she gave her a small tearful smile and ran off around the clashing pillars of metal that were flung toward both Deku and All Might. Mela hurried along, hearing Michael calling out. She hurried over to him, not caring about the cuts on her feet. "Mike, where's your father?" She asked him. Michael pointed to a metal tomb of sorts made out of metal bars. Mela nodded. "I'll save him, don't worry!" Mela smiled. She glanced back and saw All Might continuing to fight. If he was still standing then there was no reason she couldn't keep trying too.

She only had one arrow left and she didn't think it would really do her much good in this situation. She kept Michael behind her as the battle continued, her eyes never leaving All Might as he was aided by Deku, both of them smashing through the beams and the debris. As the final blow was delivered, Mela found this her chance to pull David out of the web of metal as it crumbled and weakened, the villains' quirk no longer effective. Mela helped Michael carry David back to safety where the others had been aiding their teacher and fellow student in battle. She gave Ruka a tired smile, finding it hard to believe this had all been resolved. All Might was truly the best. Just watching him had sent chills down her body. The things he could do...they blew her away, almost literally.

Michael and his father talked quietly, his father apologizing and falling to his knees. Mela looked to see Shota coming over to them and she found herself at a loss for words. She wasn't too mad anymore, not after almost losing him. She stared, wondering if she had heard him. Had he called her Mela in front of the others? She blushed lightly, "I...I'm glad you're okay Shota." She gave him a tired smile as she glanced over to where she had seen All Might. "I'll be right back. Don't think about going anywhere." She then ran over to the number one hero, almost tumbling down the small hill of rubble. "All Might! Thank goodness!" Hopefully Shota understood her concern, after what All Might had endured. He had been through one terrible of a fight and it broke her heart to see him so hurt. She almost wanted to smack him for making her so sick with worry but she was also so proud of him.

She jumped up and threw her arms around his larger form. "You and Deku were incredible!" She cheered as she touched the side of his face for a moment before she hopped back down and eyed his injuries, knowing he was at his limit. Namie couldn't handle all of it but she was sure I Island could take good care of him. Wiping some of the tears from her eyes, some were happy and some were sad, she smiled to him. "I thought I almost lost you." She said quietly. "I'm so glad I didn't."She glanced down, unsure what to make of these emotions welling up inside of her. It was probably just adereline. "Please get some rest or I'll fight you myself." She laughed, looking up to him before she headed back to see Shota. But what was she going to say to him? Somehow she couldn't think of the right words. Placing a hand on his back as she approached him, she gave him a worried look. "You're not hurt are you?" She didn't see him get injured but she had to be sure.

The chaos around them was stunning to Shoto. As he watched his rival and friend fight alongside the number one hero, he found his focus on the two powerful heroes. He somehow felt all the more dwarfed by the display of power in front of his eyes. It was immense. He snapped out of his thoughts as he helped sling both fire and ice at the metal objects being thrown at the heroes. Shoto wasn't going to hold anything back now, he was going to give this everything he had. Consequences of their actions long forgotten, he spotted Ayumi flying around giving out directions to Aizawa and Deku for openings. Shoto sent of waves of flames beside Ruka, the rest of their classmates joining in. Even Mineta was trying his best, which didn't amount to much but there you go.

As the battle finally came to a dramatic end, Shoto felt his strength leave his body. Everything hurt. But they won. Deku and All Might did it, against all odds. He had to consider that Deku had made considerable progress since starting at UA. He looked to Ruka and felt a great wave of relief wash over him. He was okay. She was okay. They were all okay. But it was clear Deku and All Might would need medical attention. He frowned when Ruka sank to the ground as the sun began to rise over them, a new day has come. "We did it, we won." He confirmed to his stunned classmates, his eyes looking at the view. They could finally rest. He closed his eyes, feeling the sun's light glow shower his face and chest. It felt so good but even better to know that those he cared for, were no longer in any danger.

Looking to Ruka, when she came over, he smiled. She was safe. But he still wished he had done more to protect her from that charmeleon guy. He looked to her hand for a moment, guilt rising up inside of him all over again. He still couldn't fully forgive himself, even if he knew he should. That Ruka's injury was her risk she had to suffer. Still, he hated seeing her or anyone in pain. If he could do something about anyone in trouble, he would. That was what a hero did, without fail or question. He held Ruka cose and rested his forehead against her own. "Yes we did." He nodded to her. Officials from the island began to take any injured down to get treated while the students and staff were ushered down or helicoptered off the roof for their safety.

Shoto took Ruka's hand and headed back down the way they came. The elevators had been configured for the time being, to allow them to head all the way back down to their respective hotel floors. Shoto was very glad there weren't anymore stairs. He wanted nothing more to sleep and hold his woman close to him. It was a battle like this that only reaffirmed how much he loved her and how he was determined to not let her go. No villain could get in their way. Once at his room, he let her in and carried her over to the bed, both of them falling down on it. He glanced outside at the sun peeking through the curtains. "I think today we can rest easy." They deserved it. He was sure the island would throw some kind of thank you meal for them but for now, he needed his Ruka and nothing more. "I love you so much." He pulled her over, kissing her deeply, his hands holding onto the side of her face. "I never want to lose you."

Ayumi flew around, directing All Might, Aizawa and Deku as to where to move and attack. She had a good vantage point and was able to make sure the kids stayed out of harms way though seeing them all use their quirks to do their best to turn the tide of the battle, she found herself giddy with pride. Aizawa was right, these kids were something else. Witchya settled down on the roof as she watched the smoke clear as the final blow was dealt. She made sure each student was okay before authorities came up to assist with evacuation and medial. She eyed Aizawa and Uede for a moment before she shook her head, not wanting to anywhere near the dark haired man for a while. No. she had pissed him off somehow and she just needed to focus on doing good by UA and Principal Nzeu. She still didn't think her words had done so much damage so for now she'd just wait to see Aizawa on the plane ride back or something. Turning her attention to Momo and Mineta, she helped them down, flying them back down to the lobby with ease before she went back to help others who wanted to be moved more quickly than some boring elevator.

Seeing All Might in such danger sent cold shivers down everyone's body. But it was Mela who ran off to do something. Denki looked as Bakugo and the others joined in, trying to undo some of the damage the enemy was causing. Denki stayed back, holding onto Namie. He didn't think he'd be much help with his electrical quirk so he was quite fine with looking after Namie and staying out of the way. She had done so much for his friends and he knew that Namie had the makings of a real hero. When the fight ended, Denki couldn't help but cheer and yell with the rest of the teens. It had been a very tough fight and at times, Denki was sure Midoriya and All Might were done for but they surprised him and everyone else.

It was a fight for the ages and he looked down at Namie, wishing she could have seen it. It was thanks to her they could all help in the fight. This victory was much hers as anyone else's. They had all done their part to secure victory over evil. "Namie-chan! It's over!" Though she hadn't really seen it begun huh? Oh well. The important thing was the battle was done and they won. "We did it, everyone is safe!" He smiled down at her, doing his best to not shock her with his budding excitement. As much as he wanted to stare into those sparking eyes of hers, he wanted her to rest. "Don't worry, it's okay. I promised right?" He smirked as he picked her up and headed down One his way down, he discussed her injuries with a passing medic who told her to let her rest and if she was still unwell, to call the front desk for assistance.

Denki took the elevator down as he suddenly remembered he didn't know where Namie's room was. He felt so stupid! He could ask the front desk but he thought they might question his motives with him carrying around an unconscious girl. He decided to go back to his room and let her rest there. He got to his room and let himself in, his legs feeling like jello after all the running, walking and climbing they had done. He set her on the bed and unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt before he went to go wash his face and hands. He came back and laid next to Namie in his bed. He sighed deeply, his muscles on fire as he turned on his side to face her. He reached over and brushed some of her hair back. "You did really good." He said, wanting her to take it easy now.

Turning away from the others, All Might smiled to himself. Yes, this was how things should be and he was just fine with that. Ignoring the painful heartache in his heart, All Might was more than ready to just go hide away in his hotel room to just get some rest, but he was certain that David wouldn't let his friend do that. Just as he was about to go and check on David, he heard Mela's voice from behind. Turning around, he felt himself suddenly tackled by Mela, holding back from wincing at the sudden impact as he instead wrapped an arm around her to prevent her from falling and hurting herself, "M-Mela-chan!?" he let out in surprise knowing that no one else was close enough to hear them. His heart was thumping wildly in his chest as he didn't know what to say or do. But one thing was for sure, his heart was doing happy flips much to his embarrassment.

As she touched the side of his face, All Might's entire face blew up as he blushed. With her still hugging onto him, she was quite close and it was making him nervous. If he was Kaminari Shounen, All Might was certain he would have gone into over shock right about now. Helping her back to her feet, All Might blinked at her. He smiled as he nodded his head, "yes, but it was thanks to every single one of you. We couldn't have been here without your help so thank you, Mela-chan." He hoped she didn't get hurt, but it seemed like she wasn't? At her sudden words, All Might was taken aback. He blinked a few times as he looked down at her. W-what has gotten into her all of a sudden!?

He didn't know what to say, but his heart was soaring as it was beating like crazy. Ah, what is this feeling!? Holding back from acting out on his feelings, All Might gave her a sweet smile as he placed a hand on top of her head, "thank you for worrying over me...and I'm also very glad that you are safe. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if you were hurt." Yes, he really wouldn't be able to forgive himself for that. As Mela turned around to leave, All Might can only watch her before a few medics have arrived on the rooftop. He was soon directed to a hospital room just a few floors down. He refused to lay down on a stretcher as he couldn't let others worry about his condition. Coughing a few more blood, All Might laid down on the bed after taking a nice, well-deserved bath along with getting treated. This building had everything in it huh. His room was private and had guards in front of it as David made sure no one can enter unless authorized or given permission by All Might. For now...he can just relax. Finally releasing his muscle form, Toshinori let out a sigh as he laid down on the bed. Finally some peace.

During the fight, he's sustained a few minor injuries, but nothing as severe as All Might. He wasn't sure what to feel when he saw Mela rush over to All Might's side, but a flash of Mela in her dress dancing with All Might came back to mind. Somehow his chest hurt seeing the two together so closely. But certainly, there was nothing between them right...? Just like how there really wasn't anything between him and Ayumi. He can only hope Mela can see that. Watching her talk to All Might, Shota's eyes trailed over her figure as he noted her to have several holes on her dress...and that her dress was in quite the disarray. Frowning, he wondered if something happened. Did she get injured? He knew they had a healer with them during this crazy night, but Shota didn't want to think Mela was injured in any way possible. It made his heart hurt all the more.

Not wanting to make up any assumptions and worry himself over nothing. Shota decided to wait for Mela to come back to his side. He should trust her and not worry about anything...no matter the painful stabs his chest was making at the moment. As Mela was speaking with All Might, Shota turned to see Ayumi helping transport the students out of the area. He caught her eye for a moment and he smiled at her. Not a smirk, but a genuine rare smile of his. He was thankful for her support and knew that the students were feeling much more at ease with the fact that their teachers were here. Since she was flying about, Shota couldn't go and see how she was, but he knew her to be fine. That witch would be hard to take down after all. Maybe it was his relief of everything being over that he was smiling, but Shota was just glad everyone was safe. That everyone was alive and that they have won.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Shota turned to see Mela coming back. Seeing her concerned look, Shota let out a small snort as he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her a bit closer to him, "I'm fine. Nothing serious." Leading her towards the elevators, Shota began to lead Mela to his hotel room. She was probably tired and as he looked over at her, he noticed the injuries on her feet. He frowned, not liking to see a single scratch on her. The walk back was rather silent as he knew he should apologize to her. He didn't mean to hide anything to her and he honestly didn't think they were something even worth mentioning to her...but maybe that was what was wrong? He was in the wrong regardless and so he will apologize.

Halfway to his room, Shota carried her as he didn't answer her question. Instead, he went into his room, placing her down on the bed before disappearing into the bathroom. He returned with a bowl of warm water, a towel slung on his shoulder and a first aid kit. Kneeling down in front of her, Shota began to wipe the dirt off her feet as he murmured out, "you need to take better care of yourself..." staring up into her eyes, Shota kissed each of her foot before applying some medicine and wrapping it in gauze. She probably shouldn't walk around for a bit just to let it heal...during then he will be more than glad to just carry her around. Heh.

Standing up, Shota looked down at Mela and gave her a stern yet gentle look. Reaching over, he gently ruffled her hair as he murmured out with a smile, "you did a good job Mela...and above all else, I'm glad you're fine." Leaning down, Shota pulled her in for a deep kiss, his feelings pouring out into it as he was worried for her, yet so so proud of her. "You're a fine hero already," Shota mumbled out as he pulled back to look into her eyes. Cradling her cheek with his hand, Shota's face turned serious as he murmured out, "I'm sorry."

On her way over to Shoto's side, Ruka paused as she just admired the view. Watching Shoto just stand there, basking in the glow of the morning rays as it shined down on him. Somehow it made him seem so..ethereal and so heroic. She felt her heart flutter as she wondered if it was possible to fall in love with the same person twice? Or many more times? Because he just stole her breath away with that and in her heart, Ruka will call Shoto her hero. Hehe. Walking over, she happily wrapped her arms around him as she celebrated with him. They have won! They were able to defeat the villains and save all on I Island! Staring into his mismatching eyes, Ruka gave him a soft smile, "yeah...we did." They made it and they conquered all odds that were placed against them. And Ruka was glad she had Shoto beside her.

A part of her felt guilty for pushing Shoto and the others ahead when they faced the chameleon man. She didn't want them to get stalled any further and she knew with her large range of firepower, she would be able to handle the situation just fine on her own. Or that was how she made the judgment earlier as she pushed them to go ahead of her. Plus, she believed that those three would be more helpful in whatever other battles they may face. Sure, that sort of sounded like she was sacrificing herself, but if it was for the safety of everyone, then Ruka would gladly trade her own life for theirs. Ah, no no! That wasn't the point!

Recalling the look in Shoto's eyes earlier, Ruka knew he was upset and she honestly couldn't blame him. If Shoto came over to her with such injuries, Ruka would be worried sick and more importantly furious. Furious at herself and at whoever caused such harm to Shoto....and Ruka can only guess he was feeling the same. Feeling sorry, Ruka didn't know what else to say and so she followed Shoto down the roof and towards his room or so she assumed. Though once they entered the elevator, the reality of the fight being over was finally sinking in and Ruka felt beyond exhausted. So when they arrived at his room, she made no complaints as all she wanted to do was rest. But when he picked her up and carried her off to the bed, she let out a slight squeak in surprise. Ah! No no! "S-Shoto! You don't have to carry me! You're just as tired and I'm heavy..." Ruka would have continued with her list if not for being dropped onto the bed.

Laying next to Shoto, Ruka smiled over at him as she kissed him back, "mmm I love you too." The two enjoyed their time together after that. Making sure to let the other know just how loved they really are. Ruka felt bad for making Shoto worry so much over her and she was just glad there wasn't a scar left on her hand. She knew Shoto will never forgive himself if she had a scar. After all, if Shoto had a scar and she wasn't able to protect him, she'd probably be upset. At herself. Not him of course. After they had their share of each other, Ruka went over to fill the tub with warm waters, marveling at its jacuzzi style bathtub. Once that was filled up, the two spent some more time in the bathroom, making sure the other was clean and relaxed.

All cleaned up, Ruka laid back on the bed with Shoto, enjoying his warm touch as it dried her hair up. It was already the morning, but Ruka felt like it was night time for them. Hehe. Laying back down, Ruka pulled Shoto to him as she nuzzled her face into his chest. She pouted up at him as she recalled him being shirtless, "this is only for me to see~" Ruka nipped at his chest teasingly. A soft sigh left her lips. Smiling, Ruka murmured out, "I'm so glad it's all over with..." Pausing, Ruka stared up at the ceiling as she spoke up, "I'm sorry Shoto..." she glanced over at him, hoping he wasn't mad or anything like that. She only did that earlier with everyone's best interests in mind!

Watching as the rising sun slowly shined down on them, bringing forth the light once more for the day. It shined down on Denki in a way that made him all the more brighter and dazzling in Namie's eyes as she stared up at him weakly. Ah, was she dreaming? She didn't know when, but as Denki excitedly spoke to her, Namie slowly closed her eyes. Relief flooded her heart as she was more than glad that this was all over and done with. They made it out alive and everyone was safe...she was able to help everyone. She was glad that she could be of some sort of help. Feeling herself fall back into a restless sleep, Namie's eyes slowly fluttered open a bit later.

Hm? Where was she? Her body felt heavy, but she had finally gained control of her limbs once more! Ignoring the tingling numbness running along her fingertips, Namie looked next to her and blinked a few times. W-what!? Denki was laying next to her and he was sound asleep. Her heart was thumping wildly in her chest as she looked around and realized that they were in a room. Was this his room by any chance!? H-how did she get here!? Namie can feel her cheeks turn hot as she sat up, unsure of what to do or say. Wincing as her body forced her to lie back down, Namie turned on her side to face Denki. Staring at his resting face, she reached out and gently caressed his cheek. Her eyes softened as she smiled. He was safe...they were safe. What a relief.

Scooting closer, Namie cuddled up next to Denki as she stared up at him. Leaning up, Namie pressed her lips softly against his cheek as she murmured out, "thank you for protecting me...my hero." Smiling, she couldn't help but admire his face a while longer, her finger reaching out to trace his lips. Her heart thumped as she recalled the kiss he gave her earlier. Without thinking, her body moved on its own as she leaned up and brushed her lips gently against his. Blinking, Namie pulled back to see his eyes wide open. Her face turned red as she wasn't really in the best condition to make a run for it. And so instead, Namie hid her face into his chest as she squeaked out, "s-sorry!" She didn't mean to just take advantage of him sleeping or anything like that! Her body sort of just moved on its own. Still keeping her face hidden, Namie murmured out, "thank you....you protected me and everyone else too..thank you." Feeling a bit more brave, Namie looked back up into his eyes as she murmured out gently, "you were a hero, Denki-kun. So, thank you."

While Mela had to believe Toshinori would be fine in a matter of days, she still had to worry about him. He did so much and shouldered such a burden as the symbol of justice. He made it his mission to save everyone and yet it cost him so much. It killed her inside to know he was alone getting better. Perhaps she'd be able to visit him after getting some rest herself. Her eyes settled in Shota as they walked along. Was it really such a big deal they had omitted things from one another? Probably not. She knew Shota was someone who didn't say much to anyone and she couldn't hold a trait of his against him. It wasn't fair.

Her thoughts ceased circling the topic when she felt him pick her up and carry her the rest of the way. "I'm fine, you don't have to--" She stopped herself, knowing it didn't really matter if she tried to explain the pain was pretty minimal, if not numb at this point. And it really was nothing compared to what else she had felt tonight. After getting to his room and settling on the end of his bed, Mela glanced around. The events of this afternoon continued to nag her. She should apologize for overreacting. Ayumi-sensei wasn't some threat, And Shota wasn't trying to be sneaky, she let her emotions get the better of her.

Watching Shota carefully clean and tend to the cuts on her feet, she closed her eyes, finding it almost impossible to keep them open with his gentle touches. At his words, she opened her eyes to stare up at him, moving an arm around to kiss him with just as much need. Shota could have been shot while she and the others were struggling to reach the controls. While they did their best to hurry, Mela would never forgive herself and probably give up on being a hero if Shota or Toshinori were hurt or killed because of her lack of action. Pulling back, she blushed at his words. A hero? Her? Really?

As he placed a hand on her cheek and apologized, she wasn't sure what he was saying sorry for. For not being able to help her and the others? Or was this about earlier this afternoon? She stayed silent as she decided he may be taking about this afternoon. She shook her head, "You don't have to be sorry. I'm sorry. I know you didn't think it was a big deal so you didn't mention it. And having Ayumi-sensei help you, trusting her enough to be around Mi-chan, that's good." They would need her services again if they wanted to get away for the weekend. "I should have just listened instead of just walking off." She said, moving back to pull him down with her.

"I know you weren't trying to hide anything and you don't offer up things unless they're important." She moved her arms around him. Tonight did put things into perspective. She paused for a moment, leaning up to kiss him again. "You're important to me." She told him. "I know I'm important to you. That's what matters." Mela trailed her hands down along his arms. The two enjoyed their morning together and soon fell asleep as noon rolled around. By the time they woke up it was time for dinner. A message had been delivered to them indicating the island was hosting a party for everyone in honor of the teenagers and pro heroes who helped saved I Island.

Mela went back to her room to change into the casual clothes she had, a pair of blue jeans and a dark forest green sleeveless turtleneck sweater. She thought about seeing Toshinori since she half expected him to not attend due to his injuries, but she decided she may just get in the way of his recovery. So the brunette met up with Ruka and they headed down to the party which was outside in the cool glow of the sunset. There were strings of lights around and the smell of grilling meat filled the air. Mela grabbed some water and walked over to Shota, "Nice night huh?" She smiled to him. It was hard to believe just 24 hours ago, they were all facing some crazy villain.

The air was warm but there was a cool ocean breeze that swept over the venue. Mela saw Ayumi chatting with some other pros. She waved to the pale skinned woman who waved back. Mela took a drink of water. Even though she and Shota had resolved the issue from yesterday, she did have these lingering doubts but she had to remember Toshinori's words. This was just how Shota was. She cared for him so she had to accept him as he was. Noticing Shota holding a small plate of fruit salad, she swiped a piece of watermelon and ate it. "Maybe tomorrow morning we can check out some of the expo?" She looked to Shota, knowing they had missed their chance yesterday due to...reasons.

Mela and Ruka left tomorrow around noon but that gave her and Shota a few hours together on I Island. Suddenly she felt a tap on her shoulder and saw it was Ayumi-sensei with two plates of food and mentioned to Mela they were giving out ice cream. Mela smiled and glanced to Shota before going off to find said icy treat. Mela walked around the large courtyard and much to her surprise, All Might was the one handing out ice cream to the guests. Mela smiled and walked over to him, "I see you're feeling better." Though she did worry. All Might had to reassure everyone that everything was fine but she didn't want Toshinori to have to put on such a brave face for her.

"So serving ice cream and justice huh?" She teased him. Mela took an offered cone before taking a taste. She eyed their classmates as well as the pros and all the other civilians who had come out to show their support. "I don't know which is more rewarding." Mela hummed as she took another bite. After the last person in line got their treat and the rush died down, Mela looked to the muscular hero, but was now able to see past that. She adored All Might yes, but she really cherished Toshinori as well. And right now she was worried about both personas. It suddenly hit her as she looked to him. Sure, the world couldn't bear to lose All Might but she couldn't bear to lose Toshinori. "I think you owe me another scoop for worrying me so much." She stuck her tongue out, her cone already eaten. Seconds would be nice. "I realized I haven't eaten all day." She muttered aloud, laughing. "Have you gotten anything to eat yet?" Or was he once again working too hard?

- - -

Her words were cute. She was far from heavy. Plus he could climb a thousand steps and still be able to sweep his woman into his arms. No question there. He held her close, knowing they may need to clean up but for now he wanted to get them off of their sore, tired feet. He held her close and kissed her several times along her jawline. He wanted to enjoy their time together. They were alive and they were still together. Shoto still hated how reckless she had been and how she could brush it off. What if Namie hadn't been with them? Her injury could have turned into some kind infection or worse.

Sure she came back but didn't she realize it could have gone so much worse? And that she had no foresight to run off and leave three people while she decided she was enough. What if the enemy had back up? What if they had been stronger? What if they had killed her to make some kind of statement? Something fatal happening to Ruka sent a sick shiver down his body. To him, he almost lost her tonight. There was a time in which he hadn't known where she was or what was going on. Her skills weren't something he questioned, it was the issue of being in an unknown situation, alone. No hero should go it alone. Not when she had him, Bakugo and Kirishima. What she did was very dangerous.

One of them should have gone with her and her preventing them from helping her was almost selfish. If she came back worse, he would have probably lost his mind and set the whole tower on fire, or freeze it. Anyone who harmed her would be without several limbs, if they were lucky. However Ruka did come back and they did have a healer, so for this instance, she was okay. But what if she did this again? What if she made the call to go it alone and leave him behind? His heart wouldn't be able to take it. She was strong but they were still very new to being heroes, they had to be careful and they had to work together. And clearly, she and him worked very well together in battle. That was exciting to see in action.

But he pushed his worries down as he looked into those eyes of hers. After some intimate time together, the pair moved to the large bathtub and got clean and relaxed. His muscles enjoyed the water's bubbles as well as the soft touches of his Queen. He cleaned up and dried himself off fairly easily with his quirk before grabbing a pair of black boxers and slipping them on. He looked at the time but could barely decipher the numbers as he just went back to bed with his lover. Shoto pulled the covers over them so they could get some rest, pulling Ruka to his side. His fingers combed through her own wet hair, drying it.

He stayed quiet as she apologized. He hoped she meant it because it hurt feeling so helpless. Feeling like he couldn't do anything for the one he loved. He hated that isolation and that fear that overtook him. This wasn't his ego talking, it was his heart. He looked to her, "I know." If anything, he was mad at their situation. He knew Ruka would win no matter what it cost her, and that did worry him. To him, not every fight needed to be taken on by yourself. "You're not alone anymore, you don't have to take every battle on by yourself. You have me." He said softly, kissing the top of her head. "That goes for combat or any other challenge in life. We're a team."

Ruka and him were partners, he wanted to be there with her for everything, even if one of them got hurt, they would still have the other to rely on. But if he ran off alone, he was sure she'd be just as scared as he was. He didn't want her to go through that. Shoto closed his eyes. "I love you." He brought up her once injured hand and kissed it. "I forgive you, love." He said sleepily as he closed his eyes, keeping her close to his chest, his heart as they caught up on some much needed sleep. Several hours later, Shoto stirred and got up. He noticed a message for them on the hotel room's tv and read through it. So they were having a celebration huh?

Shoto got dressed in a pair of tan cargo shorts and a UA tee shirt. Leaning over, he kissed Ruka's nose before she stirred. "Morning." He smiled though technically it was the evening. After not eating dinner and then fighting and then sleeping all day, he was pretty hungry. "They're throwing everyone a party outside in about an hour it seems." He explained to Ruka as he grabbed a white tee shirt he had brought to sleep in, as well as some black workout shorts and handed them to her. "You're not going back to your room in that so-called dress of yours." Shoto smirked to her, glancing to the pile of remains. No. No one else needed to see his Ruka in such a skimpy thing.

Once Ruka left to go get dressed for the night's festivities, Shoto called his mother and father to let them know he was okay, guessing this may have been reported on. He headed down to the large courtyard to see grills, booths of international street food, ice cream and even games. I Island knew how to show its gratitude on such short notice heh. Spotting Ruka arriving with Mela, he gave her a smile before he went off with Ruka to find them some food. He put an arm around her waist and kissed her head. "Tonight is our night." Shoto said to her. "Maybe I should win my girlfriend something?" He suggested, looking to some of the booths but then his stomach growled. "But first food perhaps?"

He guided them to a booth with chicken skewers as well as some sort of sweet meatball item. He got a variety and stood off under a large tree which had been decorated with glowing miniature orbs hanging from the limbs. The lights were a soft honey color as the sun had finally set, no longer offering the island natural warmth. He took a bit of one before holding it out for Ruka to have a taste, the pair exchanging a few skewers. "We should all do something for Namie-san." He spoke up. "We owe her a great debt." It was thanks to her, that Ruka was fine and Mela and Denki and everyone else. "Do you know what she might like?" Shoto felt terrible with gift giving. He blamed his gender heh. As he thought about it, he noticed a bit of sauce on Ruka's lower lip. Unable to help himself, he took her chin in his hand and leaned in, kissing and licking her clean. Just watching her under the soft glow of the lights, was enough to make his heart stop. "Have I ever mentioned how breathtaking you are?"

By the time more help arrived, Ayumi was in the full swing of helping people as well as moving rubble to make sure no one had been trapped, either on the roof or on the streets where some of it had fallen. As she lingered in the air, she looked down and spotted Aizawa. She felt a hot blush come over her. He was smiling...at her? No no no! He had to be thinking about doing wicked things to her! But still...he was very handsome when he smiled. Sure, his smirk did things to her, but that smile could melt icebergs. Ayumi smiled back but found it fade as she watched him leave with Uede.

So...were they a couple? Ayumi almost fell back down to the ground when she had to consider that maybe, just maybe they were a couple. Her eyes widened as she floated down to help Mineta who was already getting too clingy. Ayumi gritted her teeth as he attached himself to her and began to wail about how happy he was to see her. Yes, she could tell. Urgh. She needed a shower. She deposited the boy back down at the lobby, looking at her nice dress and deciding to spend some more time cleaning up with the crew and making sure everything was okay. By the time it was noon, Ayumi was told to go back and rest.

Heading back to her room, she let herself in and quickly shed her clothes. So Aizawa had someone? She had been so horribly mistaken. She felt so stupid. And so cruel. But Uede and Aizawa? It was almost too much to fathom. She took a shower, not sure why that bothered her so much. It did. But why? She got into bed and slept for about three hours before she got up and got into a pure white sundress. She normally wore black but this evening she wanted to show off a little. For no real reason. She put on a white pointy hat and grabbed her broom as she headed down and out into the large center of the expo where their little gathering was to take place.

She met up with some pro heroes as they discussed how well the handful of kids had done at saving everyone. Ayumi grabbed a beer and took a few drinks. She caught sight of Mela and waved to her before resuming her conversation. After about ten minutes of chatter, Ayumi grabbed two plates of roasted chicken and brisket and even a cheeseburger. She had no idea which Aizawa liked but he was bound to enjoy something right? She got some corn as well as chips and headed over. Upon seeing him with Mela looking quite close, she felt a bucket of water crash over her. Not literally but she just stood there. Well now it looked so obvious but before, looking back, she struggled to find much indication Aizawa was taken.

Glancing off for a moment, she decided to be a supportive friend instead of a cat playing with its poor prey. Yes. She needed to make amends with Aizawa. Continuing to walk over, she greeted the pair before she informed Uede about the ice cream, knowing by now that that would get her away for a bit. Also she knew a certain hero was manning the booth. She needed some time alone with her unwilling companion for the expo. "Aizawa." She greeted as she handed him a plate. "I owe you an apology. I was sorely misguided. However in my defense, those two were very close and a big part of me is still rooting for them to finally confess their obvious feelings for the other."

No she was getting distracted. Not the point. Ayumi gave a slightly sad sigh. Why Uede? She wanted to ask him but she couldn't bring herself too and instead smiled, "But I'm sorry if what I said yesterday was out of line and got you in trouble with your...girlfriend?" She looked thim, wondering if he'd confirm or refute her comment which was also a bit of a question. She knew a few of her comments in the past had to tick him off but she had only been joking. But now she knew it was very serious and she didn't want to make him annoyed or uncomfortable. "I really do hope you two make it." She smiled, not sure why that hurt to say. Something told her, perhaps the spirits, that they wouldn't. And she wished her gut feeling was wrong. "Even a handsom--er jer--er...guy like you deserves to be happy. And if...Uede makes you happy, then that's great." She nodded to him as she picked at her food and began to eat some of it, hopefully that was sincere. Yes, it was heh.

The dreams and visions that flooded his mind were of him being a hero. He had on a leather jacket and was flying around, slinging volts at evil-doers. Denki even had some epic catchphrases like 'I'm charging right for you!' or 'Zap attack.' Denki was saving people and doing his best to a real hero, in fact he was the number one hero! When Namie touched his cheek, his dream suddenly became extra static, Denki felt powered up as he took on a whole army of loser wannabe villains. And when her lips connected with his, he felt his entire body charge up and his eyes opened. What just happened?

His lips felt a bit soft. He reached up to touch them and noticed Namie burying her head in his chest. Huh? He blushed even more and blinked, trying to wake himself up. He revisited the events and remembered they had won and he had taken Namie to his room to rest. He hoped that was okay! Was she okay?! The boy listened as she apologized and then thanked him. What was there to be sorry for? He thought back but couldn't really recall. His mind hadn't caught onto the fact she had kissed him. But however he had woken up, was quite a nice shock. He gave her head an affectionate pat, "I-I'm not hero really." He smiled. "I'm just...me heheh."

Yes, he had protected her but it was the right thing to do. He wanted to do it. He hadn't been trying to be a hero but it was very sweet of Namie to think of him as such. He sat up slightly and moved his hand down to rub her back, not sure how she was feeling. He then sat up fully and rubbed his eyes, still rather sleepy. "Let me order us something to eat!" He got up and ordered them some sandwiches and juice. It was about noon. As he went to go shower and get changed, he thought about the others like Momo and Eijiro. They were okay right? Denki changed into jeans and a baby blue tee shirt with a white cloud on it as well as a lightning bolt coming off of it.

Coming out of the bathroom, he was glad to see Namie still there and their food had arrived. He sat down on the bed and ate with her. "You did really well last night." He commented to her. "I've never met a healer besides Medical Girl. If I'm a hero, then you're a hero too!" He told her as he took a big bite of his sandwich. The blond finished eating and saw a message on the tv, it was blinking and he read it with Namie. So there was another party?! He grimaced. Should they really go? He gave Namie a look, "We should check it out, yeah..?" He asked her, a bit nervous about another gathering. What if something happened again?

"Oh hey! You still owe me a dance, pretty lady!" He winked at Namie, flashing her a finger gun, knowing how cheesy that was. When she left to get ready in her room, Denki went off to go see how his friends were doing. They were all going to the party, some a bit eager than others. Denki headed down early, knowing he'd meet Namie there. Walking around, he grabbed a soda and a corn dog. He chatted with some of his classmates as they all looked a bit tired and drained. And to think tomorrow they were heading home to go back to classes. Denki needed another vacation! He had worked all day and then fought all night. Was that what it meant to be a hero upon graduation?

Before he could consider a new goal in life, he spotted Namie and quickly finished his corn dog. Hurrying over and moving around some slow people, he hopped in front of her. "Hey, long time no see!" Denki grinned to her. He began to walk around, the whole outside ground decorated in soothing colors and lights to provide guests with comfort. Denki found himself a little nervous. He remembered he had kissed her last night and his mind had a lingering thought that she had kissed him this afternoon. What did that mean? He thought to Ruka. What were her lips feel like? He would probably never know right? And why was he still thinking about her when he had Namie by his side? What was wrong with him? "Y-you know my birthday is in a few days." He commented. He had a feeling Eijiro was planning something. "I hope you can make it." He smiled to her. "And you being there will be enough for me!" He quickly added, hoping it didn't sound like he was fishing for a gift. "What about you, when's your birthday?"

Shota wasn't sure if he should correct Mela and tell her that no no, he did not trust Ayumi nor did he find her nice. In fact, after her nearly pummeling him several times with the broom, his opinion of her changed and the moment she placed Mela with Ruka, well she was now an enemy in his eyes. But he'll just keep that to himself. He nearly lost Mela during this little event and Shota would never be able to forgive himself if anything happened to her. So to have her here beside him, safe and sound were all that mattered to him. He pulled her close as he laid back down with her. Placing his forehead against her's, he stared into those chocolate orbs that he loved so much as he murmured out, "alright...but if there's ever anything bothering you...you'll tell me, right?" He looked at her seriously before leaning forward and kissing her softly on the lips. He hasn't been this serious about a girl before so it was quite hard for him to express himself to her honestly, but he was trying.

The two fell asleep after thoroughly enjoying themselves for a few hours. He had to make sure she understood just how much he cared for her. Even though they never been truly intimate, this sort of intimacy was already quite enough for Shota. All he needed was Mela. After what seemed to be a few hours, Shota woke up to a message on the tv about some dinner party for them. He nearly grimaced at the thought of that. Another party? Did they not learn from last night's party? Still, he knew they should go. He watched Mela head off to get changed and he did the same. Though this time he stayed casual as he wore long black pants and a dark grey v-neck shirt on top. He kept his scarf wrapped around his arm as he wasn't going to risk going without it. Not when they just faced a villain attack the night before.

As he was standing there, greeting a few other pro heroes and talking to the scientists and whatnot, Shota turned his attention to Mela. He just ran away from all the people as he grew tired of listening to them talk. He just wanted to rest. He smiled as he saw Mela come over. He looked up at the party, people were much more relaxed and everyone seemed to be having a good time, "yeah..." it was nice he supposed. When she mentioned the expo, he looked over at her before nodding his head as he smiled, "sure. That sounds great." He reached out and gently ran his hand through her hair. He was just glad to see she was doing fine, though he was sad she didn't take up his offer of him carrying her around so the scratches on her feet can heal up just fine.

Noticing Ayumi approaching them, Shota held back a frown. He watched as Mela eagerly ran off to get ice cream. He held back a sigh as he turned his attention to Ayumi. He looked over at her and seeing that she wasn't hurt, well a small part of him was relieved she was safe. Taking the plate from her, he couldn't help but wonder if she poisoned it or something...why was she being nice suddenly? He was surprised to hear her apologize about things. He blinked a few times before taking a bite of the burger. Hm, not bad. Sighing, he looked over at her, "as long as you understand it's fine...but really...please stop placing one's own girlfriend into another relationship..with another girl at that." He wasn't about to hide his relationship with Mela. After all that happened, he realized he should just be more upfront about things. A guy like him huh? He smirked at her as he flicked her hat lightly while saying, "I should be saying the same thing to you. Hopefully, you will find a guy that can handle your spookiness." Hah.

The moment his head was on the pillow, Toshinori was out like lightning. He was quite exhausted and was more than ready to accept sleep. Fortunately, he wasn't pressed by any media or others as David made sure his friend can get some rest without being bombarded by others. Waking up hours later, Toshinori was given a call by David himself, who asked if he was down to attend the dinner party that was held to thank all the heroes that saved the island. He smiled as he told David that yes, he would be. How can he not be there when the people worked hard to make a party for them? That would be unheroic of him to do so! Plus he felt much better after getting some rest and the tech at I Island was quite advanced as his wounds seemed to be healing at quite a fast pace. By the time he gets back to Japan, he was certain that Recovery Girl won't have to heal much of his injuries.

After showering and getting changed into something more casual, Toshinori muscled himself up before he left the hospital room. He was wearing long beige pants and a dark blue collared shirt. As he arrived at the party, he greeted everyone and simply accepted their gratitude before he spotted someone handing out ice cream. Seeing the young man looking quite sad, All Might spoke up, "why are you looking so sad Shounen?" After learning that the young man just wanted to enjoy the party with everyone else, All Might gave him a thumbs up as he told him, "go! I will take over this! There will not be an ounce of ice cream left!" Watching the Shounen walk off happily, All Might began to serve ice creams to the guests as he made small talk with them. If he can bring a smile to their faces, All Might would gladly do anything!

As he was serving the sweet frozen treat, he nearly dropped the cone he was holding when Mela appeared. "M-Mela-chan!" All Might stuttered out in surprise before offering her a scoop of chocolate ice cream. He can only give a weak smile as she caught him. He can never say no to a person in need after all. After serving all the guests in line, All Might blinked in surprise at her words. He ended up caving in as he gave her another scoop of ice cream, this time cookies and cream. He smiled at her words as he murmured out, "I'm sorry to have worried you. It was never my intention." At the mention of eating, All Might was about to answer her when his stomach did the talking. He let out a light laugh as he placed down the scooper as he walked over to her side. Smiling down at her, he offered her his arm as he told her, "it seems that I have not eaten either! Shall we go get something to eat then, Mela-chan?" He was happy to see her...but shouldn't she be with Aizawa-kun?

There was a long table with various food littered on top. It seemed like there were also specialty booths here and there. They really went all out for the heroes. All Might led her to the buffet as he picked up two plates, handing one to Mela. As he began to pick a few foods from fries to burgers to some wings, he asked her, "how are you feeling though? You're not hurt anywhere, are you?" He looked over at her with concern lacing his eyes. He didn't want her to be hurt or uncomfortable in any way.

She was certain he was mad at her. She would be too if she was in his position though as he stared into her eyes, she felt relieved to hear that he forgave her. Though as he continued to speak, Ruka could feel her chest tightening as she tried to breathe. She felt a bit of a prickle in her eyes as his words hit her deeply. She was always alone, Mela had Hideo and that time Ruka felt truly alone. She always fought alone and never really did learn how to rely on others. She never saw the need for it nor did anyone see the need of teaming up with someone like her. She took in a breath, forcing her tears down as she nodded her head. "Yeah...I'm sorry." Yes, they were a team and that word filled her up with a whole new warmth. She was no longer alone. As he kissed her hand once more, Ruka wondered if Shoto will ever get the image of her once gaping and bloody hand out of his mind? She knew she probably wouldn't...it wasn't every day she purposely let herself get shot. At least she can now say it does hurt to get a gun wound ehe. Feeling sleep overtake her, Ruka can only nod her head as she nuzzled herself against Shoto sleepily, "I love you so much..." she whispered out as she fell asleep.

How long has she been asleep? Ruka wasn't sure but at the sensation of something soft against her nose, Ruka scrunched her nose before opening her eyes slowly. She was greeted with the sight of Shoto and she smiled sleepily back at him. As she sat up and stretched, feeling much more alive than earlier, she blinked as she was given a set of clothes. A party huh. Wait hm? She stared down at the shirt and pants as she heard Shoto's explanations. Ruka giggled as she slipped her bra and panties back on before wearing Shoto's clothes. She was tempted to just forgo her panties and bra, but Shoto would probably never let her go out like that hehe. Giving him one final kiss, Ruka left for her room.

After getting dressed in an open shoulder flowy black shirt that went down past her butt, but her stomach area was slightly revealed if she lifted her arms up. Underneath she wore white short shorts, the idea of wearing a dress and being dragged down if anything were to happen, making her feel the need to wear pants this time around. To finish off her outfit for the night, Ruka wore high top sneakers, once again the dreaded heels coming back to haunt her. Tying her hair up into a high ponytail, Ruka headed out and meeting up with Mela, the two headed down to where the party was held. Spotting Shoto, Ruka watched as Mela headed off to Aizawa before she made her way over to Shoto.

Leaning up to kiss his cheek, Ruka giggled as he mentioned food. Yes, she was quite hungry too. "Yeah, food sounds good." As they found a few foods, the two rested under a tree. She was nibbling on a chicken skewer when Shoto mentioned Namie. Ah, that is very true. She looked thoughtful as she finished the stick, not noticing the smudge on her face as she opened her mouth to answer Shoto only for him to kiss and lick her. She blinked a few times at his sweet words. A blush covered her cheeks as she gave him a small smile, "mmm maybe, but you know. You should see yourself sometimes hehe." She recalled the morning image of Shoto basking in the sunlight...that was a breathtaking image for sure. After eating, the two began to walk around playing some games at the booths. Stopping at one for archery, Ruka giggled as she asked him, "care to try this?" She had some practice with archery thanks to Mela, but she wondered how Shoto will fare with this? Now as for Namie's gift...maybe Denki or Eijiro would know better?

- - -

Namie blushed when she felt the pat on her head. A-ah...there it was again. The warm fuzzy feeling that invaded her heart every time Denki smiled like that. She thought he was being way too humble if he didn't think himself a hero after what they've been through! Namie already set her heart on him as her hero the moment he saved her that one time and even today he saved her again. Yes...he really was her hero. Hehe. As she felt him rub her back soothingly, Namie closed her eyes, enjoying the gentle touch. She leaned in closer to him, their legs nearly tangled together as she nuzzled into his chest. He was so warm...and so kind. He was like the sun in a sense. So bright and so cheerful, always brightening up someone's day hehe. At the mention of food, Namie was more than eager for that. She sat on the bed with him as the two ate, talking about various things and when he compared her to Recovery Girl, Namie blushed flattered. She sort of looked up to Recovery Girl so Namie was happy to know that she can be a hero like her one day, "hehe thank you! We're both heroes then." She smiled brightly over to him.

As they were eating, the announcement for a party was made and Namie felt her heart thump in worry. She glanced over at Denki and nodded her head, "a-ah yeah...we should go." It wouldn't turn out bad this time...right? No no...she shouldn't worry like that! If anything she should be grateful as the people on the island were doing so much for them. As Denki pointed his finger at her while mentioning the dance, Namie blinked for a moment before giggling as she shot her finger back at him while winking, "of course~! I have not forgotten!" After eating, she thanked Denki once more before heading off to her room to get dressed and ready for the party. She was tired still, but at least she regained control of her body and she wasn't paralyzed anymore! That was a good thing! A sign of improvement!

After taking a well-deserved shower, Namie decided to wear a simple maroon a-line dress with half-sleeves. She had her hair down without any ornaments decorating it as she decided to just dress simple. Her dress was a lot longer so it covered most of her legs as the dress stopped right above her knees. She wore simple short ankle leather boots. Heading down to where the party was, Namie looked around the crowd for Denki. She found it silly that the first person she looked for and wanted to see was Denki. It sounded silly, but it made her smile.

Spotting Denki coming over, Namie greeted him happily, "hey Denki-kun! Hehe, yes long time no see indeed." Her eyes shined with amusement as the two decided to walk around. Namie picked up a plate of some noodles and chicken along the way. She blinked in slight surprise when he mentioned his birthday, no way! His birthday was coming up!? Namie decided to text Eijiro later and interrogate him, demanding him why she wasn't informed of this sooner. But as he invited her, Namie smiled warmly up at him as she told him, "of course! I'll be there no matter what!" She wouldn't miss it for anything! At the mention of her birthday, Namie told him, "oh, mine is March 19th. I'm a spring baby you can say hehe." She had no clue she shared a birthday with a certain explosive boy. As they were walking around, Namie smiled as she looked around at everyone happy and smiling. She was glad to see all of Denki's classmates were there too. They were all safe and she was happy about that. "You know Denki-kun...sometimes I envy people with offensive quirks like your's...but then times like these, I'm glad for my quirk." She smiled over at him as she told him, "thanks for being by my side and protecting me hehe. Oh! The dance!" Namie remembered as she saw a dance floor where a few people were already dancing at. She smiled over at Denki, "care for a dance?"

Aha, there was no way Mela would let Shota just carry her around like some invilid. Mela would be fine after some days of rest. She had to hope Monday wasn't too taxing but she wanted to push her prospective sparring partner out of the way, for now she had ice cream to enjoy! She was quite happy with the chocolate and then the cookies and cream selections. "Oi, somebody has to worry about you, you know." She pointed out to him. "You should be resting in bed though right? I should take you there myself and make sure you stay there." She said without thinking. Ahh no that's not exactly what she meant. She quickly covered her mouth with her free hand. This is what happens when some handsome man gives you sweets! Mela could have been the poster child for children getting into vans with the promise of candy.

"Uhh food, yes. F-food, let's get some of that...food." She muttered as they went to pillage from a large table. Mela took the plate and placed it on her head and began serving herself. Her balance quirk was quite useful when it came to carrying multiple plates as needed though right now she wanted to enjoy her ice cream and serve herself so for now, her head would have to hold the plate hehe. She grabbed a cheese burger and put it on her plate before she took a scoop of french fries. "Hm? Oh...well, I suppose I hurt my feet but I should be fine in a few days. I've really had worse though and if I had a choice, I'd rather hurt my feet than my hands." She explained with a shrug. "So I'm fine!" She said, the pain was dull and constant but it wasn't really anything she couldn't handle.

It was sweet of him and Shota to worry though. Glancing over her shoulder to Shota and Ayumi, she shook her head. Nope. Not going to think too hard about that. They're co-workers and friends. Nothing else. Finishing her cone finally, freeing up her hand, she grabbed her plate and got a stack of brownies and chocolate chip cookies. "So Michael seems quite helpful. His problem solving skills are astonishing. I hope he visits us in Japan at some point." Mela commented. "It's support items that can really change the tide in a battle." She commented as she started to nibble on her cookies. "By the way, I hope someone is taking care of our little sunflower sprout while you're gone." And this time, Mela knew it wasn't Ayumi heh. Although if they left it alone for three days, she didn't think anything would really happen to it. They headed off to go find someplace to sit down and eat, an image of Principal Nezu watering it sprang to him. Hehe.

While the skewers themselves were good, he did think it may be good to find something else to eat as well. Shoto was still hungry when they had finished eating. He decided it might be good to see if they had anything strawberry related. Fighting really took a lot out of you and Shoto wanted to make sure he and Ruka weren't about to pass out somewhere. That wouldn'e be very herotic would it? He decided if he could find something strawberry related for Ruka, perhaps there was some donburi or tempura. Eating something more related to home, instead of something a bit Italian or American, would be a bit of a comfort really.Smiling at Ruka, Shoto followed her off to try their had at some games. They should be easy enough right? Though Shoto was pretty sure they were rigged and prevented contestants from really winning when they otherwise would.

But he had to hope this being a party for all of them, the person running the booth wouldn't be too petty. Stopping in front of an archery game, he paled. He really wasn't good at archery. He tried once or twice in middle school but failed horribly. He looked around, making sure Mela wasn't lurking or she'd come over and lecture him about how poor he was performing. "Sure, we can give it a try." Shoto nodded to Ruka. Maybe this would go better than middle school gym? Picking up the wooden bow and plastic arrow, he took aim and released. He missed his target by about six inches. He made a face. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Bakugo and Kirishima doing a water gun game and getting loud as they baited the other. Shoto shook his head and tried a second time, he hit the balloon target but the arrow just bounced of.

What? He glanced back to Ruka. Okay so if the game was rigged, he was off the hook for looking terrible. Right? He decided to try one final time, as allowed and hit it again, this time using considerable more strength and it actually broke. His face lit up! Got it. The man handed him a prize for getting one out of three balloons, a book of animal stickers. Shaking his head, Shoto took off the bunny one and playfully put it on her forehead. "Let's find one that I can win you some cheesy stuffed animal." He smirked. Stickers were nothing to really brag about. "You'll win me something too right?" Shoto looked to Ruka. But first he did want to see how she fared at the archery game. She did better than him but that wasn't hard to do heh. They walked over to another booth, one requiring you throw a ball into bottles. That looked easy right? "This?" One of the prizes was cute deer plush with a strawberry in its mouth. And also a fox with a leaf, and a teddy bear with a cartoon shaped heart. Those were cheesy right?

If he thought she would poison him here around so many doctors well then he just wasn't thinking very well heh. But she liked him, she would never poison him. Perhaps she would do something to take him out of teaching for a day so she could enjoy doting on class 3-A a bit more than usual? But no, she wasn't carrying around some horrible potion in her pocket, waiting to strike like some viper. Ayumi just nodded at his comment. Well if he had been more honest about himself and Uede, then none of this would have happened. Probably. Still she decided to keep her headcanon thoughts about Uede and Kurotsuki to herself. They were young and had so much time to figure out their sexuailty which was oh so fluid these days. Ayumi just wanted the girls to be happy. And to her, they seemed oh so happy together~

Her mind wandered back to David and All Might at the party. Perhaps they were lovers from their college days? She had picked up on the hints of the but she was positive that Aizawa didn't want to even entertain her thoughts, let alone hear them so she kept that theory to herself. Ayumi made a face when he flicked her hat. "Heeey, tonight I'm a very good witch so be nice." She insisted. Ayumi ate a bit more of her food as Aizawa said he hoped she found someone who could handle her. Ayumi scoffed lightly. Was such a person out there? She wasn't really sure though it wasn't for lack of trying. She wasn't sure but she was content to enjoy the life she had. But it would be nice to come home to someone who could wield her sharp tongue heh. "Well thank you." She nodded.

"I'm hardly spooky. I'm...an acquired taste." She said before laughing. That wasn't much better was it? "Well I do foresee some strange events coming our way." She said to Aizawa. Though whether that was directed at them as a school or them as people, she didn't say. Ayumi finished her food, though could go for something sweet. But not ice cream heh. "So tell me about you and Uede, I'd love to hear about you two. You're an usual pair so I must say I'd love to hear more about this little thing you have going on." She waved her hand a bit. Plus it might help him talk about it more. "I mean is she what you usually look for?" She couldn't help but ask Aizawa. Was he into someone younger? Ayumi had to consider what had brought them together. She hadn't even considered soulmates because she herself didn't put much weight in their relevance. To her, soulmates were nothing more than some gimmick. A birthmark couldn't dictate love or compatibility. Surely not.

While Namie had a bowl of noodles and chicken, Denki picked up some kind of pizza pocket that looked like a football heh. He bite into it, it was cheesy and filled with meat and vegetables. It was like pizza but more doughy and portable! When she mentioned her birthday, he said the date to himself a few times, hoping he could commit it to memory. Yes, he would do his best. The 19th of March. March 19th. Got it. He nodded to himself as he smiled to the girl. "I'll be sure to remember!" He gave her a thumbs up, hoping his brain wouldn't let him down. As they kept walking and eating, Namie mentioned wishing she had an offense quirk but before he could assure her that hers was important too, way more impressive than Bakugo or his own, she said she enjoyed her healing quirk. Good, because he did too.

Denki was lost in his own thoughts when Namie brought up dancing. Oh yes. Denki grabbed a napkin to clean his hands before he offered one to Namie. "Yes, I'd love to dance with you." Denki said. There was a small area for people who wanted to dance and shake their stress away. It was separated by the other areas of the large courtyard by a wooden floor for people to dance on instead of concrete though to Denki, it all felt the same. Once she took his hand, he led her out and placed his other hand carefully on her hips. "You protected all of us." He pointed out to her. "So...your quirk makes you really tired? It looked painful for you." He frowned to her. He didn't want to think she could feel what others felt and that it damaged her but it was clear something happened when she healed others.

"It looked really tough. You couldn't move and it looked painful. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you from that." He frowned and hoped she'd tell him because he wanted to understand her better and that meant her quirk too. Denki would consider her actions last night to be incredibly heroic and selfless. Her quirk would make her feel the results of fights she had never fought in. Denki began to lead as he stepped forward and then to the side and back and around. Staring into her eyes, he felt his nerves coming back up so soon. He gulped a little and tried to think about Namie and not about the things going on around them. She was a healer and he hoped she didn't push herself too hard for the betterment of others but he was pretty sure she would do that. But he didn't like seeing her hurt, it worried him. "Just try to promise me you won't use your quirk to the point you pass out." He said quietly. "Or I at least want to be there to protect you heh." He grinned a little, knowing it could be a very worrisome side effect for someone as cute and kind as her.

Toshinori didn't really think further on what Mela said, instead focusing on the fact that he has made her worry. That she was worrying over him. She knew his secret and she still would show concern? He thought for sure that Mela would have been mad at him and never want to talk to him after learning of the truth. He was hiding a secret from her in the end after all, but he was glad she wasn't mad and that she actually believed him. As they walked over and began to pick out some food, Toshinori chuckled slightly as he always found her balance quirk to be quite an impressive feat. Whatever she does, it always seems like a show to him. Though when she mentioned how her feet were injured, he frowned.

Though at the mention of Michael, he smiled widely as he nodded his head, rather proud of his nephew, "I hope so too, but I know it's quite hard for islanders to go on holiday elsewhere. Though maybe I can send an invitation for him to come over to U.A for a bit. I'm sure David won't mind that." As they finished grabbing all the food that they want, Toshinori scanned the area for a place to sit. Finding one, he was about to point it out when Mela mentioned their sunflower. He gave her an assuring smile as he told her, "I have my friend from the police department watching over it. He knows me so I trust him." As in, he knows of his secret that is. "Now then..." he then moved over and lifted Mela up onto his shoulder. He gave a small laugh as he looked up at her with a grin, "let's go eat." He brought them to a bench by the trees, a bit away from the crowd. Settling her down onto the bench, All Might sat next to her as he looked out at the happy crowd. He smiled, glad to see everyone so happy, "thank you Mela-chan....because of you and your friends' bravery, everyone here can be smiling like this right now." Smiling, he ruffled her hair lightly as he told her, "good job."

As she watched Shoto try the archery game, she let out a small giggle at the face he was making. He was looking way too cute for playing it seriously! When he won a prize of some stickers and placed on her forehead, Ruka made a face before giggling as she leaned up and pecked his nose. Her eyes shined amusedly as she told him, "good job Sho-kun~" Turning around, Ruka picked up the plastic bow and arrows. She positioned herself, took aim and released. She's had Mela as her teacher so Ruka would like to say she was okay at archery. The first shot went too far, the second hit the balloon and popped it and the third popped another balloon. She received a bracelet as a prize. It was a leather kind with a button clasp on it. She wrapped it around Shoto's wrist but let out a small laugh as the button popped. "Your wrist is too big, Sho-kun~" Ruka teased out.

Walking around a bit more, the two stumbled upon a ball toss game. Ruka stared with wide eyes at the shiny bottles before looking up at the adorable yet cheesy plushes. She giggled as she nodded her head, "Oh yes, these are perfect...especially the deer~" Ruka let out happily as she decided to try and win that for Shoto. It can remind him of her hehe. "Ladies first~" Ruka sang out as she decided to go first. Given 5 small ping-pong sized balls, Ruka threw the first ball but it bounced. The second and third one flew a bit out of ways and on her final one she got it in one of the bottles. She, unfortunately, didn't get enough to receive one of the top 3, but upon seeing the medium-sized prizes, her eyes shined as she asked for the heart-shaped plush. Holding it out to Shoto, Ruka smiled shyly over at him as she mumbled out, "um here you go...i-it's not much, but um here's my heart." She felt so cheesy for dropping a line that her face turned red. Shoving the plush into his hands, Ruka pushed him to try the game out, "your turn!"

Shota scoffed at her insistence of being a good witch. Yeah, whatever. Like he'll ever believe her after witnessing firsthand her wrath. Yup, no thanks. As he took another bite of his food, Shota looked over at Ayumi, wondering what was going through her mind. Her mind seemed like an abyss...he just couldn't figure her out and honestly? He wasn't sure if he wanted to. He looked around for Mela but as Ayumi spoke up, his attention went back to her. He let out a scoff at her, "acquired? More like impossible." But he can believe that. She was interested in Present Mic and that definitely required some acquiring for sure. Though at the mention of strange events, Shota couldn't help but lift a brow at her in silent question. What was she trying to say here...? Was she being serious?

Though when she mentioned him and Mela's relationship, Shota blinked. He...wasn't expecting her to ask. Well, he sort of did, but he didn't think it would actually happen. He let out an annoyed sigh as he looked off to the side. He didn't really like talking about himself and others like this. He glared over at her when she said little thing. It wasn't some fling! Shota was quite serious about Mela....despite his rather reserved nature. He can be quite the passionate man. Heh. He supposed he can just tell her one answer though at the question of her being his type. Shota had to think for a moment. His type huh...does he even have one? He can't recall. Rubbing the side of his neck, Shota answered her, "she's my soulmate." Simple, right?

Taking his offered hand, Namie placed her other onto his shoulder as the two began to dance away at a nice and slow pace. It brought back memories of their first dance together at his school. It was quite the memorable night. And also an eye opener for Namie who found her hero hehe. As they were swaying to the music, Namie blinked up at Denki as he asked about her quirk. Oh...right...she looked off to the side for a moment, unsure if she should tell him or not. There really was no way to hide it after passing out like that. Plus she did want Denki to know about it. To know about her. When he apologized about not being able to protect her, Namie's head snapped up to look into his eyes. No no! He protected her with his life! She couldn't have asked for more...then he had to go and say something sweet like that. Namie bit her lip, finding it hard to resist that smile of his.

Sighing softly, she smiled up at him as she leaned her head against his chest, speaking up softly, "my quirk allows me to heal any injury without the injured feeling any pain...but in return for that, I um basically absorb all their pain and injuries. So to put it simply, I can feel the pain that they have gone through...like with Kurotsuki-chan, she got her hand shot with a gun....I know that because I felt the pain in my hand too...and with Uede-chan, she got her shoulder cut with claws...once again because I felt it." She paused, unsure if she should continue. Pulling back, she grinned up at him as she told him, "but its okay! I'm actually quite used to it...and honestly, I want to heal others. I can't bear to see anyone hurt." She smiled over at him a bit shyly before adding, "oh...and uh if I use too much of my quirk, I sort of get paralyzed. That was why I couldn't talk much and whatnot. Ehe." But she wouldn't change it for the world, her quirk was meant to save others and that is exactly what Namie wants to do.

All Might did have a point, it may not be easy for Michael to travel freely, she hadn’t considered that but she’d love to show him around at some point, if ever possible. She’d love to hear more about All Might when he was younger with David too. Their college days had to be pretty amazing, she imagined. Mela couldn’t help but smile at the mention of someone else taking care of their flower. And it was a guy too! That was all the more of a relief to Mela, for whatever reason eheh. “I’m glad! Be sure to thank him for me!” She chirped. Before she could protest, she found herself being lifted up high onto his shoulder. She let out an ‘eep’ and blushed deeply, now he wasn’t being fair! He really didn’t have to carry her but she didn’t say anything to him as she just wrapped an arm around him, her fingers threading his hair as she held onto her food with the other, leaning over to chomp on a few fries as he moved to set her on a bench.

Mela couldn’t stop smiling at his words and sweet gestures. She was so lucky to have him in her life like this. She never ever thought she’d get to have such casual conversations with someone she outright adored. Sometimes her life felt like an utter daydream she refused to wake up from. “Ah you mustn’t thank me.” Everyone did so much more than she did. “I knew it had to be really tough for you so I just wanted to help as soon as possible.” Mela said. She really was worried for him, it wasn’t that she doubted his strength or determination though. She just wanted to be supportive for Toshinori. She started to eat, hoping her blushing would stop but it wouldn’t go away, her face almost hurt. “I meant what I said earlier...I didn't want to lose you, Toshinori-kun.” She told him softly, staring at her pile of cookies. She needed him to know she valued him, even when he wasn’t All Might. “Maybe that’s a little selfish of me though.” She didn’t want to put excess pressure on him. “But just be careful, if you can. Please?” Mela glanced up to him. She knew he had to fight but she also wanted him to know he had someone looking after him.

Shoto wasn’t surprised Ruka had done better than he did, if anything he’d be surprised if she hadn’t. He sept the bar pretty low but she also had a fine teacher, surely. He laughed at the bracelet. It wasn’t really made for a grown adult was it? It was funny, in a way but he was happy to let Ruka keep it if she wanted to. Though even if Shoto couldn’t wear it, he’d happily keep it as a good memoto of their time together on I Island. Shoto watched as Ruka tried the next game, he studied the way the game was constructed, deciding he’d need to use a bit of his quirk if he was going to win. Those balls hitting the bottles but bouncing off surely indicated the game wasn’t very fair. So he wouldn’t play fair either. But he also was glad Ruka wasn’t using her fire, she had pushed herself and he hoped she could rest, but at the same time, the balls may have just burst into flames if she used her quirk.

“For me?” He smiled to Ruka as she presented him with a heart plush. “Thank you very much. I will treasure it, always.” He said giving her hand a kiss before he accepted it, giving it a squeeze. He decided if she was going to be cheesy, he would be as well. “Sure, I’ll give it a try.” He considered as he took the balls and used his ice quirk to surround them with a thick layer before he threw them with a heavy hand. It only took four to get the stack down. He knew he only did it because of his quirk. He looked to Ruka for her to pick out what she wanted, the deer of course. Taking it, he handed it to her, smiling. “I love you, deer.” He chuckled at her. Yes, maybe being cheesy was a bit contagious? He hoped it would stop soon hah. Shoto leaned down and kissed Ruka before he put an arm around her and led them off to find something sweet for her. He spotted someone selling dipped chocolate strawberries. Perfect. Getting one for each of them, they fed the other though only ended up making a bit of a mess which Shoto was eager to lick up for her, despite being in public. The boy had to clean up his girl somehow right?

Here Ayumi was trying to be nice to him and he was doing everything he could to make it difficult for her? At the mention of soulmates, she felt her jaw drop and her eyes widen. Now he had to be joking. Seriously? Soulmates? No way. She let out a dry laugh. “So?” She looked to him. She didn’t think someone like him would ever buy into that kind of a con. Soulmates meant nothing! “You don’t have to live happily ever after with your soulmate you know.” She couldn’t help but inform the teacher. “But I suppose anything is possible?” Ayumi tried to remember to be nice to Aizawa, yes, be nice. Don’t hex or curse him. “But you saying you’re “soulmates” with Uede doesn’t answer my question at all. You seem to think because you’re soulmates, things just work themselves out.” Well they didn’t. No, Ayumi stop. Stop. Be supportive. Be a good friend. Yes, he needed friends, she was pretty sure he didn’t really have any heh.

Sighing, she threw her plate out before she grabbed some napkins to clean her hands so that she didn’t dirty her white dress. That would be so tragic wouldn’t it? Handing some to him, she decided to just wrap up the topic and move on. “I suppose it kinda cute you put your faith in soulmates and despite my skepticism I do hope things work out for you two.” Ayumi told him carefully but she was sure he didn’t care if he had her support or not. “Anyway um.” She began to say, not sure what to say really. She wasn’t one for small talk but she was sure Aizawa was the same way. And yet she guessed Mela was a lover the idle chat chat. Did Aizawa really not see how different he and Uede were? Did being soulmates blind him so much? Wait, she didn’t care so why was so curious? “Maybe I’m just jaded because I haven’t found mine yet. But I still don’t think a mark on your body should dictate who you wind up with. Buuuut~ I do want you to be happy so if she makes you happy, then I'm happy." She supposed? Ayumi rubbed her neck a little, feeling like she had done more harm than good there. "Um if you need any womanly advice, I'm around~" Was that helpful?

In his mind, Denki still wasn't the hero he knew in his heart he could be. Denki looked to Namie, hoping she would be honest about the issues with her quirk. No one was perfect nor infalible. He wanted her to be honest so he could help her. A hero had to help someone right? In any way possible, big or small. His heart jumped about ten feet when he felt her head on his chest. Ah that felt very nice but he hoped she wasn't still tired and needed to rest. If he suggested going and she needed more sleep, he would have to carry her back to her own room right away! "N-Namie-chan?" He looked down to her, blushing. She was okay right? When she explained how her quirk worked, his heart fell right back into place and then deep down into the ground. So she could feel the pain of others? But why would she not say something sooner? The others would have insisted she not burden herself. But then...maybe that's why she kept it a secret?

Denki wasn't sure what to say as she smiled up at him, saying she was used to it. But it was pain and it wasn't even her pain. It belonged to someone else and yet she was okay with just accepting it as her own? He couldn't understand how selfless this wonderful person was? He softly smiled at her as he kept dancing but as he did listened, his moments did get slower as his focus had shifted entirely to Namie in his arms. "Thank you being honest with me." She probably knew what he was going to say next right? "You shouldn't have pushed so hard for us." He couldn't help it though. He leaned down and rested his forehead against Namie's, hoping she could at least feel how much her appreciated her. "You are much stronger than anyone I have ever met." Denki said to her. And yes that included all pro heroes. He just hoped no one took advantage of her in such a state so he had to hope she didn't push herself too much too often. "Just please make sure you know your limits. Being a hero means not pushing yourself too hard." He said gently. Denki didn't want her to feel pain, but he knew she would do it if it meant others would be okay. "You're as selfless as you are beautiful." Denki said. Ahh where'd that cheesiness come from?!

AiAi AiAi

He chuckled at her words. He ruffled her hair even more as he told her, "there was nothing to worry about! We were all hanging in there but that was because we knew rescue was on the way!" He knew it was a risk when he told her the truth of who he really is. That this All Might? Was just him in his muscle form. Not truly him, but it was still a part of him as well. But he knew in the end that he wanted to have Mela's trust more than anything. Even if it meant bringing risk to him as a hero. It was because he trusted Mela. And right he was! Though he never intended to bring extra worries into her life by telling her of his limited time frame in his muscle form. He just wanted to be honest with her in everything. As he took a bite of a wing, he nearly choked on the bone at her next set of words. He looked over at her in surprise. She...was worried about him? Not just as All Might, but as Toshinori Yagi? Somehow, that made his heart lit aflame and no, he was certain it wasn't Kurotsuki Shoujo or Todoroki Shounen's doing. Definitely not Bakugou Shounen either.

He gulped as he tried to calm his beating heart. Fighting down the blush, All Might spoke up, "t-that is not selfish at all...if anything I believe that's quite the opposite of selfish..." he paused as he looked down at his lap, his hands holding the plate tightly. Ah, there she goes again saying things that made him all the more fall for her. How was he to ever get over her if she keeps saying the things that he's always wanted to hear? How can he not say that he's in love with this girl sitting next to him. She's seen who he really is, she knows what he can and cannot do....she knows much more than most and yet here she is worried over him. It really did a number to his heart as he continued speaking, "I will do my best to be careful, so don't worry about me, okay?" He gave her a soft smile as he changed the topic, "oh! You know, there is a dancefloor around here! Did you want to da--ahh! What am I saying! Your feet are hurting! How rude of me! Uh um oh! Then...do you want to get away from the party for a bit?" He gave her a small wink as he told her, "there's a giant Ferris wheel here if you want to ride that instead?" What is he saying!? It's not as if he's her boyfriend, that was Aizawa-kun! He should just offer for those to two to go or something!... Urgh.

That was just embarrassing! Ruka can feel her entire body burn up and honestly it was a miracle she wasn't combusting into flames right about now. Then again, she has pushed her quirk to quite an extent last night so it was no surprise to her that her flames weren't acting up. The way it craved for blood was always unsettling for her. Snapping out of her thoughts, Ruka watched eagerly as Shoto tried the game out. She didn't take notice of him using his quirk and so she was quite amazed at him getting in four of them. Well, guess to each their own as Shoto obviously had skills in areas that Ruka didn't have much in while Ruka had skills in other areas. Clapping her hands at his win, Ruka looked at the large plushes before picking the deer with the strawberries. How can she say no to strawberries? Giggling at his rather cheesy line, Ruka leaned over and pecked his cheek as she thanked him. Hugging the plushie to her chest, the two walked off to further explore the party.

Leaning happily against Shoto, the two headed off where they stumbled upon a strawberry booth! Ruka was so happy about it and was more than eager to try a bite of those chocolate dipped sweets! Though it became a bit messy after feeding each other. Ruka let out a small whine as Shoto licked her face, her cheeks turning red as she mumbled out, "o-others are watching, Shoto~" He was such a tease! Looking around, Ruka spotted a photo booth. Oh, that looks fun. Smiling up at Shoto, Ruka tugged on his hand as she led him inside the small booth while saying, "let's take some pictures~!" Smirking, Ruka settled quite comfortably on his lap as she read over the instructions, "so we get to take up to five shots but it'll be consecutive, are you ready then, Shoto?" Ruka turned to her boyfriend, smiling over at him.

He wasn't sure what to expect when he told Ayumi that he and Mela are soulmates. A part of him expected her to gush and get all girly about it as most girls would regarding the topic, but no, she did the complete opposite to his surprise. He blinked for a moment as he listened to her ramble on about how soulmates meant nothing to be happy in a relationship. Well, true. He honestly didn't care about the whole soulmates thing either. Heck, he thought he'd never meet his either! Shota could feel a headache coming with her continuing to talk. What was so wrong about him and Mela being soulmates that she has to be this upset!? He watched her as she threw her plate away. She was definitely mad, but why? He didn't know why and one thing Shota knew...women are scary when upset.

Though when she mentioned how he put his faith in being soulmates, he felt his eye twitch. She completely misunderstood him, but then again it was him who didn't want to go and further explaining about his relationship with Mela. He didn't want to tell others how he felt about her. Everything about Mela...was all his to enjoy. So why does he have to go expressing that to others when he can just go off showering Mela with his affection? Once she was finally done with her little rant about soulmates, Shota let out a long sigh. He ran a hand through his hair as he looked down at Ayumi, "I honestly, don't know why you're upset, " at least she didn't have her broom this time around to hit him with, "but I'll tell you one thing, you'll be the last person I'd go to for advice." Okay, maybe that last comment wasn't necessary. But the way she snapped at him wasn't really necessary and now he was feeling annoyed, "and just to let you know, I don't have to go telling you about my relationship with Mela. What I feel for her and what she feels for me is between us." Now he was annoyed. If he's happy then, she's happy? What sort of bull was she throwing at him now?!

After telling Denki what her quirk really is all about, she honestly wasn't sure how he would react to it. It must sound crazy right? To heal others without any setbacks for the injured in exchange for her feeling it all for them? Why would anyone want to heal under such a circumstance, right? But for Namie, it was different. She was born with this quirk and she wanted to help others. At first, it hurt. It really did. It was so unbearable that she would cry every time, but as she did that she learned that it brought forth a different sort of pain to others. Perhaps it was the first time she stumbled upon someone in need of healing, not just a simple scratch nor a bruise...but in need of actual healing. Maybe that was the day she first learned to smile as she healed. Namie has learned to take it all in stride with a smile. She never wants others to feel burdened or owe their life to her or something like that. No no. All she wanted to do was take away their pain. Plus, this was something she can do and only her, right? So why not do her best at it?

At Denki's words, Namie averted her gaze, knowing that he would scold her for this. But it was because she wanted to help them! Though upon feeling his forehead touch her's gently, wide teal orbs looked up into golden hues in surprise. H-He was close! Too close! She could feel her cheeks heat up as he told her how strong she is. It made her heart filled with joy upon being acknowledged like so! She blinked a few times as he mentioned not pushing herself...but how can she ever improve if she doesn't push herself? Before Namie can open her mouth to tell him so, she stopped as he just called her...b-b-beautiful!? Her entire face turned red as Namie's mouth opened then closed. Blinking away her shock upon hearing Denki call her beautiful, she smiled kindly up at him. Leaning up, she nuzzled her nose against his as she closed her eyes and giggled, "thank you..." ah, maybe she'll keep the other words for next time. After all, she will continue to push herself past her limits to improve more and more. That is what it means to be Plus Ultra, right? Blinking, Namie pulled back as she mentioned, "oh, but I can also use it in an offensive way. I've mentioned that to you before, right?" She winked over at him as she said, "I can exert the pain I absorb onto others~ It's still in progress though...ehe." As the dance ended, Namie tugged on his hand as she told him, "let's get some dessert~"

Even when he told her not to worry, she still would but she would try to worry a little less, if only because he told her to. Of course she trusted All Might to do what was right but would he someday put his own safety above someone else's? He was a pro hero, surely a day may come where he'd be inclined to sacrifice himself for the greater good or something but she wanted to be a bit selfish, wanting him to have a good reason to come back alive. She knew she couldn't be that reason for him but maybe he'll find someone who was? Mela couldn't help but notice how flustered All Might was, it was rather sweet and reminded her a great deal of him as just Toshinori. It made her happy to know he could let his guard down around her. "I think the ferris wheel sounds great." She replied to him after consideration.

Glancing around, she needed a bit of time before her eyes locked onto Ayumi in her white. So Shota was still talking to her? Well a trip around the ferris wheel would be okay then. Mela and All Might headed over with him carrying her there which only made her flustered. The view from the top was quite grand. Mela envied people like All Might and Ayumi who could enjoy such sights on a daily basis. Sure, her quirk could get her to tall places but getting down wasn't so easy. She had asked Michael to design her some kind of item that could help with that, since she didn't think she'd be taking his portable bow and arrows back with her, she liked them but they didn't feel quite right to her. Though Mike insisted he'd make something good for her and her friends to thank them.

Settling against All Might, Mela enjoyed the view as well as the stars in the sky, Back home, you couldn't really see them because of the light pollution but out here in the middle of nowhere, you could really enjoy the galaxy for what it was. Vast and ever mysterious. Mela hoped her words had reached the man beside her but guys could be so stubborn so it was hard to really say. After the ferris wheel, Mela rejoined Shota so they could spend the rest of the night together. The two soon called it a night and headed back to his room. Mela cuddled with him on the bed but her mind kept going back to Toshinori. Was he really okay? She brushed her fingers along her leg absentmindedly. Hmm. When she realized she was spacing out, she smiled over to Shota, "Tomorrow, let's make the most of the time we have left here together!"

The next morning, Mela woke up and knew she was already beginning to feel better. She rolled over and kissed Shota lightly on the lips before she headed back to her room to get showered and dressed. She and Ruka would leave in a few hours but for now, the island's expo was still in full swing and trying to assure patrons that things were fine. Mela dressed in a black pleated skirt and a red and black striped long sleeve shirt, finishing off her look with a black bowtie around her neck. She headed off to meet Shota so they could have breakfast and look around some more. Her mind couldn't help but wander back to Toshinori but she couldn't explain why. It was like some gravitational pull. Did it have something to do with seeing him fight with Deku and her fearing the worst?

Shoto didn't mind too much if others were around, he didn't think anyone really paid two lovers any mind. Shoto pulled back, giving his lips a lick. "Ah well I can always just get you napkins?" He teased her, wondering if she preferred that to his tongue. Once they were cleaned up, Shoto found himself being dragged to some photo booth. He wasn't one for photos but he also knew couples did that sort of thing and if it made Ruka happy, he would go along with it. While she was embarrassed by the licks he gave her, he was a bit embarrassed by the idea of a photo booth. Wasn't it more for girls? Ah well, he would just have to smile and make sure they took some great pictures. Once inside, Ruka settled on his lap and Shoto quickly told himself to just focus on the pictures and not the cute girl sitting on top of him who smelled of both strawberries and chocolate now.

"I-I think so?" Shoto binked, his mind not too focused on poses or faces given their close proximity. He put an arm around her and hoped he wasn't blushing too much. Why did he suddenly feel so nervous? They took a few pictures, both of them making funny faces though Shoto looked more dazed than anything else. Though the last picture Shoto regained enough of his composure to lean down and kiss Ruka on the lips. He really just wanted to take her back to the room after being in such confined spaces with her on his lap. His mind circled back to the little party going on around them. He would have to wait a bit longer to steal Ruka away it seemed. Shoto went out with Ruka to take a look at how they came out, he hoped he didn't look too much like a deer in headlights ehem.

"DId they come out okay?" Shoto asked Ruka. If not, he would be willing to try it again. He wasn't used to doing such things but if he tried again, he was sure he'd be able to do a better job. But it seemed Ruka was happy with the outcome so Shoto was as well. He took his half of the strip of photos and studied them. Yes he would have to put this someplace special. Shoto kissed the top of her head as they decided it was time to turn in for the night. Shoto took Ruka back to his room and settled with her on the bed, his hands caressed her body as they had quickly undressed to get ready for bed. Shoto held her close to him, once again the thoughts of holding her close and then waking up to her every morning entered his mind. The thought was very comforting but he had to wonder if Ruka ever thought about things long term the way he did.

Closing his eyes, he kissed her cheek as he held her close, him spooning her as they drifted off to sleep. Come morning, Shoto got dressed in jeans and a plain black button down shirt. As he was combing his hair, he noticed Ruka finally stir. He leaned over and kissed her forehead as he went back to his morning routine. He had packed his things and hoped he and Ruka could have some time before they flew back to Japan. "It seems cruel to go back to school tomorrow morning after all we've been through." He frowned as he sat on the end of the bed, watching Ruka wake up. "We hardly had much downtime." He rubbed his neck as he gave her a small smile. "We should think about another trip together somewhere, what do you think?" Shoto suggested, wanting to recapture the magic of just being alone together, not worrying about anything else around them.

Her reason for throwing her plate away was she was full but now she was reaching her limit of Aizawa's company, if one could call it that. Why did she come over here again? Oh right, she was trying to mend fences and apologize and yet somehow they were once again at each other's throats. Why did this keep happening? Her intentions were good, she swore! She knew Aizawa and Uede weren't going to last and she was trying to help him. Didn't he even realize that? Probably not. But she could only meddle so much. Ayumi glared at him, she didn't need her broom to strangle him but then again he had his scarf and she wasn't in the mood for a mismatched fight. No, not here. Not tonight. She gave him a hard look as he insisted that what he had between him and Mela was his own business.

He really didn't get it all did he? Urgh boys. Girls like Mela didn't like being just kept in the closet or on some shelf where they were kept away from others and treated like some doll to covet and keep to yourself. She knew there was something up with Uede, she could sense it and Ayumi was willing to bet it was Aizawa's inability to really come out and declare his feelings for his so-called soulmate. Sure, it didn't need to be in front of the whole school but the fact that no one really knew about their relationship, had to be eating away at Uede and making her feel unwanted. Ayumi took a deep breath, trying to settle her nerves. She was honestly trying to help Aizawa but it was clear her words were pointless, falling on deaf ears. If he didn't want to heed her warnings, fine. He'd wish he had listened to her sooner.

"...Fair enough. Just...don't put too much stock in soulmates. That's all I'm saying." She knew Aizawa was going to hurt. She glanced off and spotted a few others. Kurotsuki. Todoroki. Yes a lot of these hearts would be put through hell eventually. It wasn't fair nor was it really avoidable. She felt quite bad for Aizawa, wishing there was more she could do for him but she really couldn't say anything more if he wouldn't listen. Silently wishing him good luck, she floated off to go do something less agonizing. She folded her arms as she landed in a tree a ways away. Ayumi shook her head, wishing she could do more for Aizawa and Uede but she really couldn't and she hated feeling so powerless and so misunderstood. Her words were meant to steel his heart and protect him but clearly she had only made things worse.

And now he probably didn't want to talk to her about anything now. Gosh, she really blew it. But him and Uede being soulmates really did make things more hazardous for Aizawa and she wished she could do more than just sit on the sidelines. She eyed Uede making her way back to Aizawa looking quite happy after having spent some time with All Might. Shaking her head, she went back to her room to try and get some sleep but she couldn't help but toss and turn a bit, bothered by how taken Aizawa was with his soulmate. Uede was really lucky to have someone like Aizawa and yet it would be for naught. Come morning, Ayumi stayed in her room, not really interested in flying around and spotting Aizawa and Uede together. No, she would just see him on the plane and keep to herself, like a good witch.

When Namie's nose nuzzled against his, a small shock shook his body and likely traveled into hers upon contact. He hadn't meant to shock her but she had taken him by surprise with that. Then again, Denki likely surprised Namie with his words. he had also surprised himself with his words but he couldn't help but want to reassure her she was strong and on her way to being a hero like Medical Girl. Still, he didn't want her to push herself. No, why couldn't she and Ruka see their hardships also hurt those who cared for them? Not to mention if Namie passed out somewhere, all sorts of creeps could just take advantage of her! Like villains! He wouldn't let that happen of course but he hated to see Namie abuse her quirk to the point of being indisposed somewhere, in harms way.

Maybe he was thinking too much. Yes that was it. Namie mentioned being able to use her quirk offensively which sounded interesting but also tricky. He would love to see it used someday. It sounded pretty cool to him. To be able to heal and harm? He made a mental note to stay on Namie's good side! "Dessert? Sure sure." He nodded, hoping she'd be able to test her quirk and keep improving. At the same time, he didn't want her to feel pain or to just push herself to the point of exhaustion. it was the same lesson Aizawa had drilled into Midoriya their first week at UA back in the first year. But he had faith that Namie knew herself and wouldn't be too reckless. Then again he was beginning to notice a pattern of the girls around him having a habit for doing reckless things.

They found some ice cream sandwiches and dug into them, trying not to make a mess of it. But of course they made a mess anyway. After getting cleaned up, Denki decided to turn in for the night, waving to Namie he headed off with Eijiro and Deku as they decided to explore a bit more of the tower before they went to bed. Denki laid down after about an hour of guys being guys. He played some games on his phone before he finally felt his brain shut down for the night. It was so hard to believe that 24 hours ago, they had been fighting for not just their lives but the lives of everyone else on I Island. Denki closed his eyes and drifted off, unable to remember many of his dreams but he could have sworn in one, he was fighting alongside his friends, they were a bit older but all pro heroes. Yeah. that was a dream worth holding onto.

With dawn's arrival, Denki felt as though he was back on a normal sleep schedule. He had entrusted a friend to tend to Peachy but he missed his kitty so he was looking forward to going back. And he knew his flight, he'd have Shoto at least. He was sure he could find Eijiro and the others now that he knew to look for them. He didn't have to work at the cafe anymore, thankfully so he decided to use the last few hours to do some exploring. Lingering in the lobby. he was eyeing the large map that displayed the whole expo and its exhibits. He glanced up and spotted Namie coming out of the elevator. He waved her over, "Morning!" He had just eaten a quick breakfast in the hotel's dining area so he was all ready to get going and enjoy his final hours of freedom. "You sleep well?" Denki smiled to Namie. "Did you wanna look explore with me?" Eijiro was off with Bakugo, and Izuku and Tenya were off with Ochako it seemed.

To Toshinori's delight and surprise, Mela agreed to go to the Ferris Wheel with him. He was more than happy to carry her over there, with one giant leap of his, the two were soon standing in front of the large wheel with bright lights decorating it. He was quite nervous when they entered, but he enjoyed his time with Mela. Actually, any time spent with Mela was a happy moment for Toshinori. It may be bittersweet at times, but he was still happy to be with her. Perhaps that thought was what made him wonder if he will truly ever get over Mela. If he must be honest, she might just be his first love. He's had past relationships like any normal man would, but it never lasted long. His last one was a nightmare and he honestly feels quite traumatized about relationships because of how horribly his last one went. Maybe that was why he was so scared of admitting his feelings about Mela? But he knew no matter what, that he cared for Mela and if there was anything he can do to keep that smile on her face, he would do it. Even if it meant her being with someone else. He just hoped that Aizawa-kun can keep Mela happy. He's noticed on more than one occasion how sad Mela seemed concerning herself with Aizawa. Oh, how he wished he can knock some sense into the reclusive Aizawa!

Not wanting to think any further on his budding feelings, Toshinori admired the vast stars adorning the night sky with Mela's kind warmth beside him. Tonight...was a good night. After spending some time at the Ferris Wheel, the two soon rejoined the party and Toshinori can only wave and send Mela off with a smile as she headed over to be with Aizawa again. Yes, this was how things should be...he shouldn't feel sad about this. Though honestly, he had no time to think about the painful throbbings in his chest when his students came crowding around him along with Michael. Now, how can he say no to them? So he spent the night having quite a fun time. Once all was over with, All Might retired to his room which was still the hospital room as he was still under watch in a sense. It was just David worrying over him too much, Toshinori wished David would worry about himself more! He was the one with a gunshot wound.

Laying down in the bed, he relaxed in his normal form as he looked out at the night sky. It was a fun and peaceful night...hopefully things will continue to be that way. Closing his eyes, Toshinori decided to spend his last few hours here on the island with David and Michael. Who knows when he will get to see them next? Plus....he was certain Mela already made plans with Aizawa-kun. He will respect that. Falling asleep rather quickly, Toshinori can feel the exhaustion creeping up on him. It has been a long few days at the island. The next day, he spent his time with David and Michael before having to leave with Midoriya Shounen. The two bid David and Michael goodbye, with Toshinori reminding David about their conversation about sending Michael over to U.A for a few weeks. He was certain his friend would agree to that. With a bright smile, All Might left I Island. Now, it was time to go back to Mustafu, Japan and save the day! Hopefully, the school is back up and running by now. There were many bright futures to look forward to as the students would be soon facing their midterms and a little surprise fun afterward!

Yes, there were many things to look forward to...but also within the shadows is dangers and sadness just waiting for their chance to strike and devour the heroes very hearts!

Ruka giggled at Shoto's response. She kissed her boyfriend on the cheek as she gave him a wink. He was so cute sometimes! And Ruka knew that only she would get to see such a cute side of Shoto~ Her boyfriend was always so cool and stoic, but around her Shoto was such a loving and sweet boyfriend. How lucky Ruka was! Hehe. The two took some silly and sweet pictures, their last one being a shared kiss with Ruka's arms wrapped around his neck happily. Yes, he truly made her happy. Did she mention she loved teasing him too? It was fun. As they got out to see the results of their little photo shoot, Ruka smiled happily at the outcome. She beamed up at Shoto as she handed him his half of the pictures as Ruka told him, "yup! It turned out really nice, especially the last one hehe." She smiled over at him and the two soon retired to his room.

Snuggling against Shoto, Ruka let out a happy sigh, enjoying her time away from their everyday routine by being at an island. To think she would meet Shoto here! It was really fate, wasn't it? Or so she liked to believe. A girl can dream at times, right? As she laid in bed with Shoto, Ruka's mind wandered to many things. From recalling the fights and the race against time as everyone fought hard to save the island....to the sweet moments with Shoto. Ruka was truly lucky to have her lover and friends beside her. A part of her hoped to just have a bright future where she can be with Shoto every day, perhaps the two living together? And then some....but then another part of her kept haunting her. Telling her that such things are out of her reach. That she shouldn't be allowed such happiness in her life...not as long as this cursed blood keeps running in her veins, burning and dancing at the prospect of blood. Not wanting to think any further, Ruka closed her eyes as she instead focused on Shoto's warmth beside her, embracing her in his love and warmth. He was her light and she will look to him for warmth and safety.

The next morning, Ruka woke up with the ticklish kiss of her lover as she slowly stirred awake. She cracked a single blue orb open before slowly opening her other eye. Sitting up sleepily, Ruka looked over at Shoto dazed as she can only nod her head in greeting to him, "mmm morning Shoto..." Ruka murmured out as she leaned over and kissed her boyfriend on the lips. She clung onto the blanket, covering her bare body as she shivered under the cool morning air. She was slowly waking up as she ran her hands through her hair, nodding at his words, "yeah...it's a shame we couldn't relax a bit more huh." But if it meant saving the Islanders, well Ruka wouldn't change it for the world! They were heroes and even on vacation they would be heroes. At the idea of another trip just the two of them, Ruka smiled over at him as she crawled over to his side, hugging him as she nodded her head, "mmm that sounds like a good plan to me~" Pulling him into her arms, Ruka enjoyed her lover for a bit longer before she headed to her room to get dressed and spend a bit more time with Shoto on the island before heading off back to Japan. Ruka was dressed in an oversized navy sweater that hung off her shoulder with white shorts underneath it. She tied her hair up as she met up with Shoto for a few more hours before they had to leave. Kissing Shoto, Ruka told him cheerfully, "I'll see you over in Japan then! Have a safe trip my love~!" Boarding on the plane, Ruka chatted with Mela for a bit longer before looking out the window. Watching a dark cloud pass them by, Ruka felt something tugging at her chest. But what?

Shota was now irritated and his mood was dwindling down the longer he spoke to Ayumi. Why was he even bothering with her again? He tried to think of the good qualities of Ayumi and how she was a good friend of his...only for him to snort at those ideas. Yeah, it wasn't working. He let out a long sigh as he looked over at her, hoping his message got across to her. He didn't really care for the whole soulmates thing, he just knew that being soulmates...made things feel a bit more different. He never really focused this much into a relationship before nor was he this taken with a girl before. Until he met Mela, his relationships were more purely physical and less romantic. Now, Shota just wanted to make sure Mela was loved and cared for...yet somehow the things Ayumi said threw him off. Why did it give him a sense of foreboding? As if something dark was looming ahead of the couple? Maybe it was the Witch Ayumi and her casting a spell on them. Urgh. That was possible now that he thought of it.

He gave Ayumi a sidelong glance as he simply disregarded her words. "Yeah, I'm not honestly..." it was just the easiest thing to explain to her. Otherwise she'll probably be throwing him numerous questions and honestly, Shota wasn't the type to just throw a bone and treat others nicely. It just wasn't his thing. He'll be blunt and straight to the point, whether it sounded nice or not didn't matter to him. Watching Ayumi walk off, Shota can only let out a sigh, his hand rubbing the side of his neck as he felt quite tired after that. Looking around for Mela, he spotted her heading over with All Might not too far from her. His eyes narrowed in distaste at All Might, but his attention was soon on Mela. The two soon headed back to his room where he pulled her close as they got ready for bed. Shota was quickly falling asleep with the warmth of Mela. He blinked sleepily over at her as he nodded his head. Kissing her head and holding her close, Shota murmured out, "yeah, let's do that tomorrow..."

The next morning, Shota spent some time showering Mela with an affectionate good morning before heading down with her to spend their last moments on the island together. The two spent their time together on the island quite well from having a nice breakfast to enjoying some of the attractions that the island expo offered. Soon they were having to board their respective flights back to Japan. Shota kissed Mela briefly as he murmured out, "I'll see you back in Japan. Text me when you are back." He watched her board her plane before heading over to board his. He unwillingly sat down next to Ayumi, greeting the Witch, "morning." Just because she pissed him off yesterday does not mean he will just flat out ignore her. He wasn't that childish. As their plane departed, Shota let out a sigh. He honestly wasn't ready for going back to work and teaching the students. Sure, he can see Mela more and more, but the idea of his normal life coming back in full force...he just wasn't ready. Though a part of him felt rather sick. As if his heart was sensing a dark storm up ahead of him.

To know that Denki cared for her wellbeing was very sweet and it made her happy. But she also knew she can't just keep him worried over her constantly. She knew she will have to work hard in improving herself so that she can show to Denki and to the world that she too can be a hero. She wanted to be a hero who can heal and save, but not just heal. No, she wanted to mend their broken hearts and fill it with hope and light. Not with despair as they face the darkness of a villain. She wanted to be there to heal them completely, both physically and mentally. She hoped she can be that sort of hero one day. Namie jumped slightly when he shocked her, but it didn't hurt. It just tickled. Maybe it was due to her having such a high pain tolerance, but his shocks really didn't hurt much. She let out a light laugh as the two headed off to find themselves some dessert.

As they found some ice cream sandwiches to munch on, Namie giggled as she helped clean up Denki's little mess, though, in the end, he had to help her too. The two enjoyed their time together as they talked and looked around the party. They soon parted ways as Namie was still feeling tired and so decided to retire early to bed. She waved goodbye to Denki as she headed off to her room to sleep. After a nice warm shower, Namie found herself falling asleep rather quickly as exhaustion was still there. She was able to have a peaceful sleep thanks to the wonderful night spent with Denki. She wondered just how much more can her heart take? It was starting to just fill up with her feelings for Denki that it was close to just bursting.

The next morning, Namie woke up feeling much better. Getting dressed in a white high waisted skirt with a navy sleeveless turtleneck, Namie headed downstairs to enjoy her last day on the island. She stumbled upon Denki in the lobby, her eyes lighting up as she spotted her favorite hero, "good morning Denki-kun!" Hearing his invitation, Namie smiled happily up at him as she nodded her head, "oh yes! I would love that! Where should we go first?" The two explored the expo and enjoyed the various sights and delicacies as well. After their fun time together, Namie rubbed the side of her arm as she smiled up at him, "ah, well I guess it's time to go huh...um, have a safe trip back and I hope to see you soon. Thanks for everything." Leaning up, Namie kissed his cheek lightly before heading off to board the plane. She gave him one final wave before entering the plane. Sitting down, Namie looked out the window, wondering what other adventures awaited them? Hopefully, it was all fun but even in the darkest of storms, Namie will be there beside Denki, supporting her hero in any way possible~!

The morning with Shota had been nice, they walked around and enjoyed the sights as couples did. Though Mela kept thinking about Toshinori. In fact, he had been on her mind a lot more than usual ever since her family's party in Tokyo. Maybe it was knowing his secret, that he and All Might were the same person, that kept pulling her back to him? She cared about Toshinori but she also had feelings to Shota. But she was beginning to wonder if he had any real feelings for her in return. Mela and Shota seemed to keep things from each other, sure it was small things, inconsequential things, but secrets were never a good thing. Not to Mela.

Not to mention she still felt like she was being treated like some secret herself. Why did it take a disaster at I Island to get Shota to call her by her name in front of the others? Why couldn't they just spend time outside at lunch like a normal couple, did it really matter what others thought about Shota? On top of that, Mela had small doubts if she'd be able to make Shota happy, sometimes he could be difficult to read, despite being a simple man. She gave him a quick kiss as she nodded and headed into the plane with Ruka. Sitting down, she chatted with Ruka for a while before her own thoughts began to consume her.

She and Shota were like night and day and she loved him, but was it the right kind of love? Could she see herself coming home to Shota after a long day or was her heart locked on someone else? Slouching in her chair, she knew she had a lot to think about. Toshinori was so kind, so adorable and very fun to tease based on his reactions. And he also had the perk of being All Might, someone who was very strong and protective and very loyal. But surely he didn't like her anymore, surely Toshinori had moved on. She had missed her chance. They had missed her chance. Besides, Mela and Shota were soulmates. Could she really break up and deny him his soulmate after he had found it, having once claimed they were rather pointless?

Mela felt horrible for even considering breaking up and yet here she was, considering it. Was she horrible person? Yes. She had what she wanted. Shota Aizawa was her soulmate. She had broken through his walls and yet she felt like something was missing. Mela felt sick to her stomach. She knew she'd have to think hard about her relationship but she knew if she had these growing feelings for Toshinori, she couldn't stay with Shota and just see which guy worked out better for her. No, she had to do the right thing and let one of them move on, even if they wound up hating her. But she would need to do a lot of thinking, that was clear.

- - - - Three Weeks of Sadness Later - - - -

Upon getting back from I Island, they were thrust back into school work and training. Denki has his birthday and it was in that week Mela had to confide in Shota her reservations regarding their relationship. It had been a horrible discussion but Mela knew if she had feelings for someone else other than Shota, she had no right being with him. Shota deserved her whole heart and she couldn't give that to it. And it hurt. He was her soulmate but she knew she had disappointed him. SHe was ashamed of herself. Shota had been so nice and so understanding of her own need to take things slow and she was worried that if she had just taken the leap, she wouldn't have broken up with him.

But there were many contributing factors. But it didn't stop Mela from hating herself. She spent a few days home, mostly crying and throwing up because she was crying so much. She couldn't face Shota. It was too painful. She had denied her soulmate, his soulmate. She was a terrible person. Ruka tried to get her to eat but Mela refused even basic food like chocolate. No, food was meant for decent human beings who didn't break the hearts of people they loved. Eventually Mela dragged back to UA, despite wanting to just go back to Tokyo. The next week was midterms and Mela threw herself into those as a distraction.

Each day was quite hard. She knew she'd have regrets. Shota would always have a portion of her heart, just like Hideo. Even if Hideo didn't deserve it. But Mela told herself that she did the right thing, even if it didn't feel like it. She couldn't be with Shota and pine after Toshinori. It wasn't fair to Shota at all. So she would let him hate her, because she wasn't finished hating herself. Heading into school, it was a chilly Monday morning, the leaves were turning brown and Mela had to hope this week wouldn't pass as slow as the last two had. Sitting down, she placed her head on her desk, still not able to bring herself to look directly at Shota. Why did she do this to herself? She hadn't told Toshinori why she broke up with Shota, no. How could she tell Toshinori he was the reason? He'd hate her too, surely. Call her crazy. Still, she knew he was worried and he done what he could to console her. She really didn't deserve his kindness.

The idea of them going somewhere alone was very appealing to Shoto. He knew it had to be someplace no Mela nor Yukito could find them. Shoto had to think someplace remote but romantic. Maybe someplace in America or Europe? He wanted to make plans soon though, because he thought it would be a break from the mundane pattern that UA was thrusting upon its students with weeks of training and school work. It was becoming too much for Shoto and it took going away to I Island on his father's behalf to make him see how important it was to make time for him and Ruka to get away from everything.

Ruka and Shoto enjoyed their morning together though he couldn't help but recall when he had packed, that he was missing a shirt. He decided he'd have to buy more as being in a relationship suddenly meant his shirts were now Ruka's shirts. Though he had to wonder if he should take one of her shirts but it probably wouldn't fit him. After making sure to make every last second of privacy count, Shoto and Ruka rejoined each other down at the lobby, having placed their luggage there so they could continue to enjoy the expo without worrying about dragging around their clothes and other belongings.

The two lovers explored and took pictures together, laughing and enjoying themselves. The expo was very interesting and he was very glad he could attend. Having been able to spend it with Ruka was such a blessing. And they also got to save thousands of lives. He knew that kind of experience was invaluable as a hero in training. He kissed Ruka deeply as they finished a light early lunch before she boarded her plane. "I'm missing you already." Shoto smiled to her. He gave a glance to Aizawa before he went off to board his own flight in an hour. He grabbed his luggage from the lobby and went off to give his father a call and tell him when his flight would arrive.

- - - - Three Weeks of Bliss Later - - - -

Upon getting back to Japan, Shoto was quite happy to pick things up with his beloved right where they left off. The week after I Island was uneventful for Shoto as he spent it catching up on studies and working towards midterms were were looming. He and Ruka spent time at both of their homes to study for their subjects. And once they were done studying, they rewarded themselves with something delightful. Though Shoto encouraged Ruka to look after Mela and spend a lot of time with the brunette who was clearly depressed. Unlike everyone else at school, Shoto knew it had to do with her and Aizawa breaking up.

Shoto didn't know how he'd be able to cope if he and Ruka broke up. Would he be able to face her? Surely not. He didn't like the idea of breaking up. The very thought was enough to send cold chills down his body. The idea itself was giving him a physical reaction so he knew Ruka needed to look after her friend as she adjusted to life without a soulmate. But Shoto didn't think he could live without Ruka. No. And seeing Uede and Aizawa's torment proved that he would do whatever it would take to keep Ruka by his side and happy. Ruka meant so much to the boy that he wanted to make sure he protected her, kept her happy and didn't know what a day without her love felt like.

With midterms having come and gone, Shoto knew it would take about a week to have the teachers grade everything so he wasn't going to stress about his grades. He arrived at school on time and spotted Uede face down as she usually appeared these days. It was like someone had sucked all of the joy out of her but if she was so miserable, why even break up with your soulmate if it would cause such a strong reaction? But he left these kinds of delicate matters to Ruka. Shoto sat down beside Ruka and kissed her lightly. "Good morning." He said sweetly. He didn't know what they'd be doing today but he was secretly hoping for something easy.

Having just done their two part midterms, the whole class was feeling like they deserved a break. Shoto glanced to Ruka, certain they both did their best regarding the midterms and he'd be quite happy to celebrate their stellar marks, perhaps over a nice dinner and a night at her place? Thankfully in the past few weeks, Shoto had managed to get his drivers license and his father said if he did well in the sport's festival coming up, he could get a car. So for now, Shoto was just renting on and off if he needed to take Ruka and himself somewhere but it did open up a lot of new doors for the couple now that he could drive them places. He still hadn't really nailed down a trip for him and Ruka to take but he was hoping when it got cooler, they could go to some hot spring somewhere in the snow and relax together. Maybe for Christmas? Before he got too wrapped up in his thoughts, Aizawa entered, looking as grumpy as ever. Shoto quietly wished Uede hadn't broken up with him, as Aizawa seemed even less intolerable than before.

- - -

Aizawa was infuriating. But she did feel for him, if only he had the power to read minds then his problems would be easily fixed. "Morning." She said simply as she focused on her reading. As it took off, she felt something, almost like another gut feeling. She glanced to Aizawa. "I'm really sorry." She said. She wasn't apologizing for what she had said to him, but apologizing because she was sure this was probably the last good memory he may have of Uede. She had done all she could and she hoped Uede would change her mind. Even if Uede and Aizawa didn't belong together, she knew a storm was coming.

Over the next few days, change did come but not in the way ideal for Aizawa. Uede had approached Ayumi, asking her to look after Shota and Ayumi knew she was going to do it very soon. Ayumi did her best to comfort Shota but he refused to be around anyone. Even Hizashi kept clear of Shota's wrath. But if Shota had to get his anger out, Ayumi was fine with taking the brunt of his anger. She had managed to drag him out to drink a few times but he wanted to isolate himself and she didn't blame him. She hurt for him, as well as Uede. Ayumi felt quite powerless even though she saw this coming.

Ayumi noted that Uede was clinging to Kurotsuki more these days, or spending her lunch alone. Ayumi hoovered around Shota, trying to be supportive as well as watch what she said. Even though she found soulmates to be a tired gimmick holding no real value, she knew Shota had turned from cynic to cautious optimist and she hoped he didn't lock his heart away forever. Ayumi knew Shota wasn't one to open up but she gave him the option if he ever needed it. She felt terrible for him, wishing she could have prevented it from happening but she honestly hoped her prodding Shota to let go of Mela earlier or to see soulmates weren't really noteworthy, would have helped but sadly it did not.

She sat in the teacher's lounge, enjoying some tea, glad to know fall was getting closer. She checked the files and noted Uede's birthday was in a little over a month and then it would be her own celebratory day right before Halloween. She already peeked at Shota's, sad his was so far away or she would have done something to cheer him up. Ayumi floated above the couch and looked through her own paperwork, recalling Principal Nezu had mentioned today they would be hosting six students in an exchange with another school. It sounded interesting and maybe it would take Aizawa's mind off of Uede.

The weekend had been a mixture of both danger and excitement. But Denki wouldn't have it any other way. Their friends had come out okay and he even got to spend some additional time with Namie-chan. Denki waved to her and headed off to get some more souvenirs at the gift shop. He thought back to how brave Namie had been and he knew she was going to do amazing things. He hoped he could watch her grow and help support her in any way possible. A bit later, he got on his own flight and waved to his friends as he sat down and took a long nap, not bothering to worry about the upcoming midterms that would spring up without any warning.

Once back, Denki gave Peachy plenty of cuddles and kisses and even sent a picture to Namie to show he and Peachy were reunited and safe. He then got ready for the week, his birthday in a few days. Eijiro said he planned something super fun and Denki just hoped it was electric and awesome! Over the next few days, Denki was able to continue spending time with his friends and family. Over the weekend, he decided to finally hit the books as the midterms had finally arrived, much to the agony of everyone, well half of the 3-A class. Denki made it through the week somehow and at the end, he and Eijiro went out to play some games to let off their steam.

Denki thought about Namie quite a bit but he wasn't sure if she thought about him the same way. He had no idea what to call this feeling bubbling inside of him. It felt...different from what he felt regarding Ruka but was that a good thing or a bad thing? Denki told Eijiro his concerns though Eijiro insisted this was a good thing and to just give into those feelings, sadly that only made Denki all the more nervous. Still, he couldn't deny that hanging out with Namie did make him happy and made him feel like his old self. The blond sat down at his desk as he tried to put the midterms behind him and focus on the fact he was going to ace them. Think positive!

Taking out his phone, he sent Namie a quick text, wishing her good luck on her own midterms. While UA's was last week, it seemed Namie's were this week so he wanted to make sure she went in feeling calm and confident. But he was pretty sure she'd do really well, better than him. Denki put his phone away and noticed Aoyama, Sero, Koda, Sato, Jiro, and Hagakure were missing. That was odd. He rubbed the back of his neck, glancing back to give Todoroki and Ruka a questionable tilt of his head. But before he could consider they were all taking time off to recover from their midterms, Aizawa-sensei entered the classroom, hopefully to address the surplus of absences.
