He was the epitome of courage and strength, the bane of all that was evil and spiteful in the world. While his ways proved to be less than moral, there were none that looked to him as a hero. When a sword was in his hand, he was the deadliest being on the planet. In his youth, he was proclaimed the protector of every kingdom he had defended.
But even the greatest of men cannot defeat the ultimate enemy of all. Time caught up with the warrior. His muscles began to stiffen, and while his sword hand remained strong, his back grew weak. And in the weakness of the warrior, an enemy became strong. It started small, like a weed wound about the stronger plants, but grew in strength as it began to drain everything about it.
New warriors began to rise up, bringing their arms against the evil in a protest of strength, but all fell before it. There was no hope in the world while this evil spread.
As a last resort, the king of Verret sent out a call to all the strongest and best warriors, gathering them to form an alliance. But the king could see that these young folks were not enough. To pull them together, he needed the same man who had defended them so many years ago. He needed the Great Warrior.
Tl;dr: I'm looking for four people to take the parts of four warriors who were summoned by the king of Verret. These four are the best of the best, but are foolhardy and lack the true experience they need. As a result, the Great Warrior has been summoned. He has been missing for many years, but has risen once again to teach and to lead these four warriors in his ways.
