They remained silent until Copper returned, eyeing the hybrid as he then began asking what had caused the damage. ‘He can manipulate sound, quite clearly, to a deafening point.’ Grimacing as the fluid was inserted within her ears, it hurts as if he were stabbing through them with a screwdriver. Yet ignoring the feeling, she continued to speak, conversing with the alchemist only. ‘You are not to touch or experiment on her after this point. Not unless I allow you to IF I ever do give such permission. Do I make myself clear?’ Her gaze had been directed towards the man’s mask, and knowing where his eyes were, she gave him a sharp glare. He wasn’t fully aware of her undecided stance on hybrids, no one was for it could mean the end of her position as archmage. Yet even if he grew suspicious, she couldn’t risk another outburst from Salim if his daughter was taken away as he might just deafen the entire Order considering how strongly he felt the need to protect her. Unbelievably strong was the love a parent had for their child.
