Factory for twisted tales and mysterious matters
So I just noticed that my old partner search thread is from 2017.
Yikes.
Before I start, let me already apologize for a lack of fancy coding. I'm on mobile. And I'm still grieving the loss of my best friend the div box.
Rest in peace, my friend, you served me well...
Movin' on!

I'm 22. That being said I am okay with rping with minors, however no romance.
I should be able to post somewhere between two or three times a day to once every other day. It just really depends on my schedule.
Let's plot together! There's nothing that puts me off more quickly than only getting replies like 'I'm fine with either', 'you decide', 'leaving it up to you' and so on. Please! Don't make me feel like I'm talking to a robot!
Face claims. Art, anime, dolls, realistic, I'm fine with it all. But yes, I'd like a face claim. I just like to visualize X3
I'm having a rather stressful life, so most of the time I just don't have the nerve and time to write novel style. Usually I'm somewhere between 3 to 5 paragraphs.
All in for romance! As long as it develops naturally and you're 18+ (Not because smut, but... Eh. It feels just a little fishy to me to write romance with minors).
I'm fine with PMs as well as threads, whatever you prefer, really. I understand some people feel uncomfortable rping in a thread because everyone could read what they wrote. No discord though.- Through the glass
A is living a perfectly normal life. Nothing special happening, nothing going terribly wrong.
Well at least until he/she moves into a new house. All the furniture of course is gone, excepting one piece- a huge, old mirror.
Nothing to worry about?
B thinks about that differently. He/she is a ghost, trapped in that mirror for ages already, trying to warn the people of the true threat in the house...of course everyone thinks he/she is the monster here though. And while B is desperately trying to save A, the darkness is rising, preparing to devour its' next victim.
The Sea of Time
Centuries ago, sometime during the Victorian era, A lost the love of his life. Heartbroken, he went to seek help from a self-declared witch master, who gave him a pocket watch to go back in time.
Just turn the winder back or forth as many times as the days you want to travel count.
Back at home, A tried it- seven turns to the left, seven days gone back in time.
But nothing happened.
He tried again - nothing.
Frustrated and furious at the charlatan A threw the pocket watch off a cliff and into the ocean.
What the witch master forgot to tell him was that the time traveling would happen as soon as his consciousness would fade, be it sleep, falling unconscious or even just excessive daydreaming. Everything that made him be somewhere else than in the here and now, and it would send him to a random place on earth, a side effect of the space-time continuum being fucked with.
The next night, A traveled for the first time, and never stopped since.
The currents and waves of the ocean are turning the wheel, forth and back, forth and back, constantly, unstoppably.
B would have never expected their life to take a turn like that... They were just about to cross the street when a man, soaked in water and unconscious, appears right in front of them out of thin air. As they try to help and check the oddly dressed guy for injuries, A awakens for just a moment before falling unconscious again, triggering the currents of time to whisk him away once again... But this time, not just him - as B has been touching him the second he time traveled, they have been dragged along into a different time.
Needless to say they aren't pleased.
So, to return to their respective times, they have to retrieve the pocket watch from the bottom of Buttermere. It's easier said than done, however, when you end up in a different time and place everytime A falls asleep...
Nephilim
It was no big announcement, nor a call or even a passing mention.
It was a whisper, a rumor, told with anxious, yet curious gazes and hushed voices.
Doctor Howard Norris, famous for his biomechanic works and prosthetics, was said to be inviting people to work for his company, Bio Tech.
And that's that.
Just a tiny ad, barely noticeable, without nothing but a time and place to visit for an interview, and the hint to bring luggage for a week.
When yc comes for an interview, he is surprised to find himself in a big apartment block, being told he would live there until he would be interviewed by Dr.Norris.
One after one, the other applicants just disappear after their interview...
They probably just went home though. Right?
Though it seems odd...
The Doctor's assistant (mc) is oddly closed up about everything that has to do with Bio Tech and the job advert.
Yc soon should find out what was going on:
As they enter the room for their interview after a few fairly odd days in the apartment block, they are told that the job would be to test a new feature from Bio Tech- biomechanic alterations.
For whatever reason, yc agrees and after hours of surgery wakes up in a hospital bed with just those alterations.
Their job?
Report absolutely everything going on inside them. As long as they keep doing their evening reports, they are allowed to spend the rest of the day however they want, and eat and live in the doctor's private resort for free.
However there are two simple rules to follow- never let anyone know about Bio Tech's alterations- and never, under no circumstances, enter the mansion of the doctor.
It all doesn't seem that bad though, and yc and the doctors assistant hit it off right away.
Too bad the she spends most of her time working in the mansion.
Too bad yc never was one to follow rules.
Never enter the mansion.
More coming! Also you're more than welcome to hmu with your own ideas!
