Five people find themselves in a cave on a deserted island, their most recent memories a blur of color and motion. Gifted with extraordinary power, the five must survive with only each other to rely on. But they are not alone in the isles. Monsters lurk in the mists and in the sea. Survival will not be an easy feat.

In this RP your character will have a singular ability. The more powerful the ability the more drawbacks you will be required to have. Later in the RP you may be able to obtain more powers though. This RP takes place in an original location called the Misty Isles, an archipelago of multiple jungle islands as well as rocky isles with little life. The islands are populated with mundane jungle fauna as well as mythical creatures, though fully magical creatures are rare.
Your choices for characters are humanoid species only. As long as it fits that then you are okay. Your powers are new to you and based on a school of magic. The schools are: Necromancy, Illusion, Divination, Transmutation, and Evocation.
You will start with a single power that fits within your chosen school of magic (example: Evocation- Pyrokinesis). Later on in the RP there will be an opportunity to add a new power within your school of magic, so don’t worry.
Schools of Magic Summaries:
Necromancy - The manipulation of life and death, including the manipulation of living and dead tissue.
Illusion - The manipulation of people’s perception of the world around them, including their perception of themself
Divination - The obtaining of information from nowhere, be it a skill, a location, or the future
Transmutation - The manipulation of objects into different shapes and forms, including lead to gold
Evocation - The manipulation of energies, including but not limited to fire, lightning, and pure magic
