Moonlit Wishes

Blue Princess
1584748303213.png

In an alternate dimension, there was a world where all of the characters from the beloved Disney Classic Animated films resided. From Snow White to Moana, from Simba to Bambi, all lived in harmony and peace in various different lands and continents that were very similar to the ones on Earth. They have all since lived through their stories and concluded them, all of their respective villains having been defeated for good. It seemed like things couldn't get any better, but they were certainly about to take a turn for the worst.

One moonless night, in the kingdom where Sleeping Beauty resides, a mysterious sorceress from another world arrived. While it is unclear of exactly where she came from and how she came to discover the existence of this world, her basic mission seemed clear: she would use her mastery over the Dark Arts to resurrect the dead villains and give them a second chance at life as well as another chance to finally get their own happy endings. She admired and adored all of these antagonists and wanted to not only help them, but join their ranks as well.

While she succeeded in bringing the villains back to life, the spell suddenly backfired on her, and she along with all of the heroes and villains of this world completely vanished without a trace.

So, where the Hell did they all go?
1584748315266.png
Located near the Olympic National Forest in Washington State, USA, is a small town by the name of Hermosa. It is run by the (not very) Honorable Mayor Sybille Leblanc, a woman in her mid-30s of both beauty and brains, who runs this small town with an iron fist. Everyone abides by her strict (and honestly unfair) rules: curfew at nine o'clock at night, no large social gatherings of leisure except on the weekends WITH special written permission from her, no public displays of affection allowed which include holding hands and even lingering eye contact, and martial law could be enacted at her discretion at any time as she sees fit to do so.

Even the only movie theater in town play films that are only approved by Miss Sybille, and the movies she does approve of are not interesting in the slightest. Saying the wrong thing at the wrong time could land someone in the local jail if they piss her off enough. From the school's curriculum to every book in the library and even down to the food and drinks served in the town's restaurants, ALL must be approved by the mayor herself, and of course, she only approves of things to her personal taste...which many of the residents find to be bland, unimaginative and lifeless.

The town is dull, dreary and there's hardly anything worthwhile to do - and as much as a certain select number of the town's residents want to leave, they feel strangely spiritually bound to this small town and are unable to just pack up and leave, as if some invisible force is keeping them all here, much to their dismay. To try and leave town means severe chest and head pain, as well as possibly passing out for several hours or even days thanks to an energy field around the town's perimeter that prevents certain people from leaving (only those with the souls of Disney/Pixar characters).

To this day, no one knows why such a frightening phenomena happens, except that the land the town was built on could be cursed-and the locals deeply believe that to be true.

Working alongside her to keep the town in check are some of the most shady and corrupted characters who very much abuse their power and like to torment the townsfolk whenever they get the chance. Having the favor of Mayor Sybille herself, they can do anything from breaking the rules without consequence to unfairly taking someone into custody just for the Hell of it. The people are frightened of her and her villainous group of bullies, but a select number of townsfolk are coming together to overthrow Sybille and her goons, planning to take the town for their own and freeing the citizens of this tyranny forever. They do not realize that they were once the Classic Disney Heroes from another world, and the people they are going up against are the very villains the sorceress brought back to life.

Speaking of the Unknown Sorceress...could she be the mayor? Or is there more to that than meets the eye?

Time will tell.

Mayor Sybille LeBlanc // Location: Town Hall in her office // With: No one quite yet // Mood: Irritated

It had already been three weeks, and Sybille's patience was growing very thin when it came to that pompous socialite Delphine. Did that woman really think she was better than the mayor herself? What a dangerous train of thought, since the mayor saw herself as the absolute ruler over this small town hidden away in a forested pocket of Northwestern America. No one had the gall to test her patience, those that tried learned very valuable lessons...some lessons that left permanent scars on the bodies of a certain few locals here, such as Basil Hawkins, who in of himself was a thorn in her side she just wanted to pull out already.

But she would deal with that little detective later, she was secure in knowing that he could never get through her defenses no matter how hard he tried. She would get someone special to watch over him later, when the time was right. She needed a rat to take care of that mouse.

But first thing's first: she grabbed the phone to call down to her secretary. "Send Sherriff Yu and his deputy to my office." She stated before he hung up the phone with a hard CLANG! She huffed and waited for the Sheriff to arrive, knowing her secretary would swiftly send the message to the Sheriff to summon him.

Meridyth Divine//Location: Outside her firm//With: No one yet//Mood: Tired, irritable
Meridyth gave a huff as she locked her office for the afternoon, fiddling with the charm around her neck, she had been told off and on about the goings on of that Moore girl for the last few weeks since she had arrived from God knew where with that damned cat of hers. She couldn't wait to sink her claws into that case once Sheriff Yu got his hands on her for something, but she didn't know how to bend the girl to her will.

A flash to a golden scroll erupted in Meridyth's mind and she gasps, blinking back to reality but shakes her head. Sushi...sushi definitely sounded like an excellent dinner choice. Right after feeding her fish at home of course. Reminding herself to talk to Yu about the Moore girl when she saw him, she started back to her home.

She knew that she'd most likely have to wait, Mayor LeBlanc probably wanted to speak with him first. Maybe...maybe she could head to the Mayor's office to check.

Basil Hawkins // Location: In town heading home // With: No one yet // Mood: Sour

Another day, same bullshit, what else was new around here?

With the most unimaginative twat running the city, was it really all that surprising? But for as much as she lacked creativity, Mayor Leblanc was a cunning and ruthless bitch. Basil could read her like a book when it came to her personality and character...and he had a strong gut feeling she was hiding something. And the Sheriff, too. Unbeknownst to anyone in this town, he was privately investigating (haha) both the mayor and the sheriff to see what they were up to. So far, the search turned up nothing, but Basil was nothing if not stubborn. As impatient as he could be, he was methodical and planned this all out carefully. He would stake out Sherriff Yu at some point very soon, he smelled a rat on that man...and God above, Basil HATED rats.

Nasty, greasy buggers.

And speaking of nasty, he spotted the Lawyer (not so) Divine walking past him. He huffed and waved his hand in front of his face. "Egads, I knew I smelled a rotting fish nearby. Ah, Ms. Divine! Good evening!" He commented, being cheeky with the lawyer woman. Like he gave a fuck how she and her best friend the mayor felt. With her love of Sushi, he had to make that jab at her. He knew a lot about many of the residents in this town, the perks of being the most clever Private Investigator around~.

Sheriff Peter Yu/ Location: Driving to City Hall/ Mood: Content
Sheriff Peter Yu smirked to himself as he drove through the streets of Hermosa towards City Fall. An hour before taking this drive, Peter had just heard from one of his "contacts" in Seattle that the shipment of stolen fur coats he helped smuggle had just sold, and he would be getting his cut very soon. He was just about to leave for the night when his secretary informed him that Mayor Leblanc wanted to speak to him. This is how he found himself in his cruiser, driving to City Fall.

As he drove, his smirk grew wider as he saw another cop car drive by. In the five years he had been Sheriff, he had managed to grow the town's police force by 25%. Most of his new recruit's were up to snuff and were fine "troops" in his "army". However, there was one that just did not fit in with the others. He sighed as he thought about Deputy Peter Howard, the "little brother" of the force. The man had potential, but he was too "lenient", as Yu put it, towards the towns people. Since the Mayor requested "his Deputy", he was looking for Peter, perhaps whatever the Mayor wanted them to do would "man him up". He eventually saw the thin frame of the deputy near a plaza, where he appeared to be talking to someone. Yu frowned slightly and turned on his siren, getting the man's attention.

Peter Howard/ Downtown/ Happy/ Interacting with: Yu and Mayor LeBlane Moonlit Wishes Moonlit Wishes
Peter Howard smiled as he saw the old man walk away from him. Peter had just been in the middle of his "beat" when he stopped him and asked him for directions. Peter, of course, obliged and gave the man very detailed directions to where He needed to go when suddenly, the police siren wailed. Peter was startled, and so was the old man, who began to rush away. Peter managed to get one final look at the man before turning his head towards the sound, and was greeted by Sheriff Yu, his boss, who was inside his squad car.

Peter sighed deeply and climbed in, thinking he was about to get chewed out. But, the Sheriff said nothing and just drove to the city hall, which meant a meeting with Mayor Leblanec. As the two men climbed out of the car, Yu turned to Peter and said,
"Make sure you pay attention closely to the Mayor deputy, and show respect."
"You can count on me Sheriff!"
Peter grinned as he answered the Sheriff, his thick Kentucky accent obvious to all within earshot. The two men then walked in to city hall towards the mayors office. Once they came to the door of the office, Yu knocked on it while saying," Mayor Leblanc, It is Sheriff Yu and Deputy Howard."

Meridyth Divine//Location: Outside her law firm//With: Basil Hawkins//Mood: Offended
Almost immediately upon hearing that soft spoken voice, Meridyth scowled to the door. How dare he assume her scent? If she could have had him arrested she would have...but, now was not the time to start acting the antagonist. She flashed a charming smile and leaned against the door to glance down to Basil.
"Ah, Master Hawkins, I thought I heard a scuttling little mouse. How is Hermosa's favourite private detective?" she drawls, pulling lipstick and mirror from her purse to fix her lipstick, scowling at the near emptiness of it. She'd have to remind herself to talk to Lucy about a replacement tube in the morning. After fixing her lipstick, she crossed her arms and turned to analyze Basil.

She wasn't afraid of that pipsqueak. If anything, she should be trying to befriend him. The more dirt he had on any of those teenagers, the easier her life would be to eventually reign supreme over them all.

Basil just grinned at seeing how pretentious this woman was being, faking kindness to his face when he knew he was one of her least favorite people. And that suited him just fine, because the feeling was very much mutual. His demeanor was smug as he looked to her, crossing his arms over his chest and deciding to return the fake kindness. "Ah, well, you know. Business as usual. God forbid anything exciting happens in this town, it would cause a panic now, wouldn't it?" He joked with a wry smile as he looked up at the woman. Sure, he was short statured, but he wasn't going to let his height get him down. The height he was born with, the confidence he picked up along the way~.

"But I digress, I'm doing quite lovely today. How are you doing, Madame Lawyer? Off to see the mayor or heading home?" One of those had to be right, and Basil relished in always being correct, and one step ahead.

"You both may enter."

Sybille called out and waited for them to step into her office, not speaking until the door had closed. She huffed and tossed a folder onto the desk, with one Delphina Mercier's information contained within. "This woman has been ignoring my requests to put her children into the elementary school here. For three weeks she has been completely silent and refuses to get in contact with me. I have reason to believe she's homeschooling her three children, but there are laws which must be obeyed, and I want ALL children in a public school so that we can keep watch over them, and ensure the teachers are doing the right thing. Sheriff, I want you to go to this woman's house immediately and have a conversation with her. She won't listen to me...perhaps you will have more persuasive methods."

She rose and walked over to the window, looking out of it. "There is also the matter of Basil Hawkins. Seven times he's been detained in jail already for acting out, and he continues to be a nuisance. I want someone special to take care of him. When you're done with Miss Delphina, Sheriff Yu...I want you to locate for me a man with the heart and soul of a rat. You'll know it by the look in his eyes, he'll be just what we need to take care of Basil without drawing any attention to ourselves. You both are dismissed."

"Oh, you know me, mouse, usually just helping another poor unfortunate soul keep their behind out of jail. Or putting one in. How many times now has my work caused you to see the inside of a jail cell? The recollections surely must be riveting." Meridyth smiles, a little twinkle in her eye. "In fact, some people may start watching what they say, lest the Sheriff overhears them...or someone goes running to Mayor LeBlanc."

It was an empty threat, but Basil didn't need to know that. Meridyth could be a lot of things. Callous, cold hearted and stony. But a rat? Most certainly not. But perhaps it would startle him into compliance to assist in the downfall of those church loitering teenagers.

"And for your information, I was headed over to grab some dinner, then possibly going to Mayor LeBlanc's home, yes. Or perhaps to visit my designer, if she's not so preoccupied with that dog of hers."

"Yes, well, it must say a lot about a town when being tortured in Jail seven times is more thrilling than going to the movies, don't you think?" Basil gave Meridyth an easy smile, unperturbed by her threat. He knew Leblanc and her close circle of friends didn't like him, he made it his mission to put his nose in their business where it didn't belong. But, if he had to put the brunt of the punishment on himself to keep others safe than so be it. For the good of the innocents in this town, he would sacrifice a lot of himself for their safety.

Besides, she wasn't a rat. Rats were scary. She was just amusing to talk to.

"Ah yes, Miss Lucretia, right? Well, I won't keep you any longer, I've got business to attend to as well. I do hope you enjoy the rest of your evening, Ms. Divine." He was half-tempted to call her Ms. Squid but he would save that for another time. "Say hello to Madame Mayor for me, won't you? Give her my best." He smirked a little to Meridyth before walking off, chuckling to himself. It was always such fun to mess with Leblanc's circle of friends.

Meridyth remained calm, despite her urge to arrest this idiot on the spot, she knew it wouldn’t bode well. Arrest him for what? Annoying her? No, she’s better off letting it go...this time.

“Is there anyone else in Hermosa that knows her way around fashion?” She asks giving a nod. “I assure you I’ll ensure she’s made aware of your regards...Basil.” She grins, she always loved the old fashioned satisfaction of parting by incorrectly pronouncing his name as “Bay-sil” instead of “Bah-zil.”

“You enjoy your evening as well, mouseling.” She grins starting off to pick up some sushi before reporting to the Mayors office.

“Oh, Loki, you wuss.” She laughs, taking a drag from her smoke and scratching her companion’s ears as one of her housemates start to pass around a stolen bottle of booze to everyone.

No one has ever come to this part of town, so what this gang had referred to themselves as “gypsies”, going from house to house with no family of Their own hung around the church as they gossiped

Basil Hawkins // Location: In town heading home // With: No one again // Mood: Lost in thought

Basily merely rolled his eyes at Meridyth's mispronunciation of his first name, oh come now she could do better than that! How very amateur of her. The mouseling comment he shrugged off, and he shoved his hands into his jacket pockets to keep on strolling home. He did pause near the restaurant that one Laurel Abrams owned, and was honestly the best restaurant in town. At least the women cooked damn good food, better than other places around here that cooked to Leblanc's bland standards. Besides, Laurel was a kind and warm-hearted woman, Basil held a lot of respect for her. He would be glad to keep Laurel's restaurant in business, she more than deserved it.

Well, it was dinner time anyway, suppose he could stop in and sit down to dinner. He walked into Laurel's restaurant and took a look around to see how busy it was this evening. Since hers was the local favorite...oh yeah, a lot of people would be flocking here, surely.

Mikey Owens // Location: In his crate behind Laurel Abrams' Restaurant --> Near the Old Church // With: No one except his kitten named Sunny // Mood: Just waking up

Sitting inside the large plastic crate in the alleyway just behind the restaurant that belonged to Laurel Abrams, Mikey sat there with a slight yawn and stretched out a bit. His orange tabby kitten companion, Sunny, seemed to imitate the boy and stretched out himself with a tiny mewing sound. Mikey smiled down at his animal friend and pet his head, and Sunny purred at the gesture. "Morning, Sunny. I guess we slept in today." He mumbled out softly with a smile, pushing his ratty brown blanket aside and crawled out from his makeshift home, the opening of his crate covered by a blue tarp which for the most part hid his little home from view. He took a look around, then slipped out into the alleyway and made his way down it to forage for food.

He really hated eating food from the trash cans, but if he absolutely had to then so be it. But he would save that as a last resort. Sunny followed at his heels as he navigated the alleyways, they really were like a maze in this town, but one he knew like the back of his hand after four years living in this part of town. He walked down one alley that led to a back street, and he poked his head out for a brief moment, spotting the old church in the distance and seeing the teenagers conversing there and laughing over something or other.

It didn't take long for Eagle-Eye to take notice of a pair of honey browns peeking over at their group. "Hey, look what the cat dragged over!" he laughed, earning a dark glare from Jayde. In her short time in Hermosa and in the group home, she was easily able to make herself the leader, fearful of none aside from Clarence, and even then it was a sort of respect.

Jayde glanced to where Eagle was pointing and shoved his arm down, glaring at him. Mickey Owens. That poor kid had it just about as rough as she did, and he didn't have nowhere to go, either. "Come on, give him a break, he's just a kid!" she hisses as Loki jumps from his mistress' lap and goes to sniff out the kitten, giving a purr as he weaves himself around the boy's legs.

Jayde, meanwhile, dug around in her jacket pockets and in her purse, pulling out a few candy bars, a bottle of water and a snack sized bag of chips. Seeing a usually skittish and violent Loki being affectionate to someone other than her cemented her decision to help the orphan. "Hey, kid!" she calls, taking a drag from her cigarette and holding the food out. "We see you, don't be shy!"

Jane Rodgers // Location: Leaving the News Station and going through town to get home // With: No one // Mood: Tired and concerned

Jane walked out of the Channel 10 News Station with a defeated expression, her blue eyes cast down as she walked down the sidewalk and into town proper, her heeled shoes making soft clicking sounds on the pavement. A frown tugged at her lips as she stared ahead, feeling quite empty inside...why must she continue to lie to the residents here over television? She didn't want to, she wanted to be truthful in her reports, but with how internally corrupt and cruel her superiors in the station were, she had no choice. She was already on her last warning, and she couldn't afford to lose her job. For now, she had to cooperate, as her boss threatened that she would never work in this town again if she tried anything. And she couldn't just up and leave town, that curse was keeping everyone here.

She felt trapped and hopeless, what could she do?

She sighed and shook her head, she needed to leave the day behind her and look forward to this evening. She decided to head to Laurel's restaurant, passing Lucretia's boutique on the way. She happened to glance through the window of Lucretia's store, and a shudder went through her, feeling her heart drop into her stomach and a chill through her veins. She didn't know why she always physically reacted this way when she passed this store, but...it just always gave her an uneasy feeling, something that came from deep in her soul. To this day, she wondered what that meant, if anything. Well, it didn't help that Lucretia was quite bossy and aggressive, at least Jane thought so.

"Jackson! Harvey! Did no one tell you that the Mayor does not wear such gaudy patterns like polka dots! Are you trying to make me look stupid!?" this in some worlds may seem like an overreaction, but to those who worked at Devil, a popular spot for men and women alike to be made into something fabulous, this was your average work night. Lucy Burns ranting about the new looks designed for the Mayor, screaming at people who don't create her designs just so, and the occasional firing. But tonight was surprisingly tame for most people. Lucy, despite her irritation seemed to be much kinder than normal.

Her collared pup barked from his space in the window, prompting Lucretia to look up and see Jane Rodgers starting past. For one reason or another, the stylist had desired to make Jane her next new project. Something about that little timid girl coming out made her desperate.
The bell to the store clanged as she opened the door and called out. "Jane? Jane Rodgers? Darling, excellent casting this evening, as usual!" she cooed, stepping out to greet the woman on the street.

Mikey paused when the teenagers spotted him, and he shyly backed away just slightly. He blinked when another cat came up to him and started purring, and his own kitten Sunny mewled at the new cat, sniffing him and pawing at him to play. Mikey leaned down and pet the black cat with a smile, "Hey there, little guy. Nice to meet you too." He looked up when one of the teens, a cool-looking girl, called to him. And she had food in her hands, awesome! He smiled and looked to the two cats, both Sunny and Loki. "Come on, follow me!"

He walked up to the friendly girl and smiled up at her, "Hi. You have a really cool cat, nice too. I think my kitten likes him." He looked to Sunny, who was still trying to play with Loki and pouncing on him. He looked back up at the girl, "I've seen you before, from a distance. It's nice to meet you in person, ma'am. I'm Mikey." He gratefully took the food and water from the girl, "Thank you for the food, I appreciate it!" He beamed up at her with a small but cute smile, extremely grateful for the help. This girl was super nice! She was good people, Mikey decided.

Jayde grinned as the Gypsies started giving soft scoffs at the thought of sharing their domain with some random kid. After Jayde gave the food to Mickey, she gave them a dark look. "Seems Loki here took a liking to you. Good boy." she tells Loki as he hops back up to her lap, getting a little kitty treat for him before leaning down to offer a second one to the other cat.

"And don't call me ma'am." she tells the kid, smiling a bit at the politeness. "You're with Gypsies, we don't take well to their formalities. Call me Jayden. Or Jay, whatever." she shrugs smiling a bit more. "Don't mention it. I've seen you, too. We're a lot the same, you and us." she gestures to her gang.

"Dude, he's a -" one of her gang starts.

"He's. An. Orphan." Jayde enunciates. "Not all of us have living parents, Dante. Now another word and you'll be my ashtray." After a moment of silence, Jayde puts her cigarette out making a face. "Pop a squat, kid, you're safe here."

Jane Rodgers // Location: Outside Devil Boutique // With: Lucretia Writer_Princess53284 Writer_Princess53284 // Mood: Caught off guard and nervous

Jane gasped in surprise when she suddenly saw a dalmatian dog barking at her through the window, and she looked into the eyes of the large dog, and a strange feeling overcame her. So much so that...she felt tears brimming in her eyes. It felt as if her soul her struck with deep sorrow and longing to protect this dog with her life. A flash of quick something in her mind: an old television, a black and white cartoon, and many dalmatian puppies surrounding her...but wait, what was-

She blinked and looked to Lucretia herself who greeted her with a smile that made Jane feel quite uneasy. Still, she gave a pleasant but sheepish smile back to the woman, "G-good evening, Lucretia! Ah, thank you, I'm glad you liked my report earlier. That makes me happy." She gulped a bit, trying her best not to feel so nervous around this woman. "I hope you are doing well this evening, busy as usual in the boutique I take it?"

As Lucky barked, Lucy scooped the pup into her arms to set down to sniff the new visitor as she smiled at Jane. "I'm glad to hear it. All this talk about being fired, just despicable. Well, if you're ever in need of a job should LeBlanc fire you, you come straight to me and I'll see what I can do." she smiles as
Lucky jumps up at Jane wagging his tail. "Seems I can use you as a puppy sitter. Lucky seems to have taken a liking to you."

"In the meantime, why don't we take your mind off work for a while, hmm? I'm never to busy to help someone with a makeover, darling." She gives another smile glancing into the boutique. "I'm positive I have something that will make those eyes pop."

Mikey's kitten Sunny happily accepted the treat and ate it, purring loudly in appreciation. Mikey himself took a bite of his candy bar after opening it, and he nodded to Jay, swallowing his food before speaking. "Okay, Jay it is!" He watched the exchange between Dante and Jay, then smiled to the teen girl before taking a seat right next to her. "You're really cool, I like your group. I'd love to join you guys. I know I don't look it, but I'm pretty tough when I wanna be. You shoulda seen me a couple of days ago, I threw rotten eggs at Mayor Leblanc's fancy car, she was so mad!" He boasted with a grin before digging into his candy bars, planning to eat the chips next, drinking his water as needed.

Sunny hopped up into Mikey's lap, settling down and purring softly, watching the humans conversing with wide curious green eyes. Mikey spoke up after swallowing his food down.

Mickey's revelation about Mayor LeBlanc's car left the teenagers howling with laughter, many rolling on the floor and choking on booze. "That was you?" Dante asks through his laughter. "We were up half the night laughing about that! I couldn't get enough pictures on my phone!"

Jay simply laughed, shaking her head with amusement. "Pretty ballsy, kid. I gotta admire that. Welcome to the crew." Jay greets, giving him an elbow in the side. "And don't worry, we protect our own just fine. You or your little buddy here won't have to worry about nuthin ever again."

"We're pretty good at getting away with shit." Dante grins, earning a smack.

"Language!" Jay growls, nodding to the kid. "Besides, we're heading into a church. God knows we don't need you dropping your sailor talk in there."

The front doors to the building were locked and chained, but no one but the Gypsy kids knew about the hidden doorway in the back, leading into the old root cellar in the base of the church. Jay led everyone to the small doors in a hole, glancing to Dante to do the honors before climbing down. "Come on, kid, we're safe!"

Jane Rodgers // Location: Devil Boutique // With: Lucretia Writer_Princess53284 Writer_Princess53284 // Mood: Uncertain but too scared to say no

Oh God, Jane thought she was stressed working for channel ten news? Working for Lucretia might just be worse, she heard horror stories from the people who she fired and it made the reporter's skin crawl to hear them. Still, she beamed at Lucretia, remaining friendly despite how nervous she felt around this woman. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind, thank you Lucretia, you're very kind and I do appreciate it." She looked to Lucky who was jumping up at her, and she knelt down a bit to pet the dog with a smile, and there it was: that feeling again, her heart aching and she had no idea way. She chuckled at the mention of her being a dog sitter, "Well, if ever you need me to watch your pup, I can most certainly do that for you Lucretia."

She gave the puppy a fond look, petting him a bit more before rising and feeling uneasy when Lucretia said she could make Jane's eyes pop. Just the way she said that, it made Jane feel a tad...uncomfortable. But she of course was too afraid to say no to this woman, after all Lucretia was very assertive and had a bit of a temper. The Brit decided to play along, against her better judgement, "I suppose I can spare some time for a makeover, sure. That would be nice, Lucretia, thank you!"

"Oh, wonderful! Come in, come in, darling, we mustn't dally, I have reservations at Miss Laurel's this evening. No need to be so formal, darling, Lucy will work just fine." She'd never tell anyone the truth, but she absolutely loathed when people called her by her full name. And even the few people who were allowed to refrain from calling her "Miss Burns" had been told politely once to call her Lucy.

Her name always brought back unpleasant memories of her mother yelling for her down the hall after retreating to her room after report cards were issued. But, of course, no one would know that. Lucy smiled, leading Jane in by the arm. "Much better, gentlemen, thank you." she says offhandedly as she leads Jane to the back changing room. "Hmm...I do like that color palette you're going for, but your execution is atrocious. Let's start with getting some measurements, hmm?" she asks, pulling the measuring tape out from around her neck as Lucky sat at her sewing kit.
