Brief Plot: The Hideaway is a local coffee shop tucked away in the heart of downtown. A small nook where friends alike come to chat and catch up. It's filled with books, some new and some donated. With a new season comes new faces. Feel free to come on by for a warm cup of coffee and maybe a story or two. You never know the kinds of people you just might meet in The Hideaway.

The story will revolve around a group of individuals who live relatively close to the coffee shop. Whether it's in a nearby district or the apartment above. The coffee shop is something they all share in common. Whether they work together, or they frequent the shop- it's up to you to decide. Everyone's story here is different.

This world, this coffee shop is ours to build together.

Liliana woke up to the sound of a crack of thunder, she had fallen asleep in one of the booths after a long days work. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes before looking at the clock, 6:30am "Good time for a nice shower and a cup of Joe. Thank goodness I don't have to pay" She said as she got up and stretched before walking upstairs to the shower and her normal room, before she headed to the shower she grabbed out her extra pair of work clothes before going to her shower and washing. She sung a random tune to herself, that changed each time she finished. After a nice warm shower, she dried and brushed her long hair before doing it up in her usual long, single ponytail before getting dressed.

She hopped back downstairs and as the coffee was boiling and a few pancakes were made she checked the clock again 7:00 it said "Well, time to open up the shop" she said openly as she unlocked the main door and flipped the stores sign to open before walking back behind the counter and served her Chai tea latte and pancakes to herself as she waited for a customer or two to come into the Hideaway

BRIANNA
Brianna groaned in bed, her head pulsing some from the night before. She tossed and turned for a bit until her brain just wasn’t wired for sleep anymore. She sat up in bed and sighed, looking at the beer bottles on the floor next to her bed. She cleaned up and the bottles clanked in a bag that she chucked into the trash.

The water ran hot as she showered, then there was the small screech of the handle as she turned the faucet off. Brianna looked at herself in the mirror: eyes puffy and a rosy complexion. Why am I like this? She thought to herself.

As she made her way into the kitchen of her small apartment, she collected her tote bag, planner, materials, and shoved her flask in her inside coat pocket. Then stepped out side only to come back in and grab her umbrella. It was odd to have a thunderstorm in the morning but it was nice to walk in the rain.

7:00 The hideaway opens
7:10 Bus
7:20 Arrive at The hideaway

She mentally would remember this start to her day, she had been going every morning for months now. Brianna closed her umbrella and boarded the bus. As she took her seat she looked around and made sure no one was paying attention to her. She twisted the top off her flask and took a sip. It was warm as the whiskey flowed down her throat. For the rest of the ride, she looked out the window.

Brianna pulled the cord at her stop, directly in front of the coffee shop. Made her way inside and sat down at a booth close to the the counter. Liliana was there as usual, does she ever leave? Brianna pondered the thought for a minute.

“Hey, Liliana, how are you this morning? Some interesting weather today.” She made sure to never speak toward anybody, as to hide the alcohol on her breath.

A quite, calm morning; a rarity for Andy. Just as the thought crossed his mind, the quacking of his pet duck had ruined it. Accepting his fate, Andy got out of bed and got dressed. "Alright Zeus-" he groaned. "I hear you, gimme a sec." Throwing on his raincoat, Andy then went to the room with all the birds. As soon as he entered, Zeus ran towards him and started quacking more rapidly. "I know you like the rain, but quiet down!" He said as he started putting a harness around Zeus. Before anything else, Andy had to go through his morning routine with each and everyone of his animals, taking almost an hour just to get through.

After feeding all his pets, Andy took Zeus out for a walk. Along the way, Andy noticed he was close by the Hideaway. Picking up Zeus, Andy made his way in. "Yo, Lili, can I get a towel? And french onion if it's ready." Andy took a seat at the bar, keeping Zeus in his lap so that he wouldn't try to give "kisses" to the others.
