I don't deal with radiation beyond Chernobyl memes, so I have no idea how bad that is.

It's something in a lead lined drum that has lead blankets and sand around it. It's emitting 7.5 mR/hr through all that. Non Radiological workers can work around that thing for 13 hours before they are maxed out. That's 13 hours over the course of the year. Inside that drum, it's over 100 mR/hr. It'll max out a non rad worker in an hour.
Chernobyl does the 3.6 Roentgen an hour joke.
This is 0.0075 Roentgen an hour (or 7.5 miliRoentgen). It's far weaker, but it's still no joke.

I was around it for about 12 seconds and that gave me 40 microRoentgen (or 40 μR) Or 0.00004 Roentgen in total. And it's all gamma radiation. Which penetrates completely. But I'm not glowing yet.
