Rin was delighted that people were saying hello back at her. Excited she shouted back another 'Hello!', before nudging her brother with her elbow:

"Leeen! Say something too!!" "I uhhh, H-hi?", he raised his arm awkwardly and then put it back down, Len was very uncomfortable with the amount of strangers in the room.
"Don't mind him, he's just being shy~", the girl explained, pushing the boy aside gently, "Ohhh, there are so many cool people in here! There's the robo suit guy... And those two... And a guy in a red suit and oh!", she exclaimed upon seeing a short person with a big nose and a green cap.
Instantly, Rin turned to her brother and started poking him repeatedly with one hand and pointing at the man with the other, "Lenny, Lenny!! It's that one guy, from that one game we discovered last week!! Uhhh... what was it called? Buroda-su something?... W-warudo... Karuto?!", she stumbled unable to remember the exact name. A strong Japanese accent started showing while she thought deeply about it:
"Ehhh... Doredatta no ka? (Which [one] was it?)"

But Len knew exactly who it was! Having his 'silent staring at the table while being overwhelmed' moment interrupted, he sighed and followed the direction his sister had been pointing at and... OH.MY.GOD. WAS THAT LUIGI?! Dumbfounded, the boy froze in shock and stood staring at the Italian man, his mouth agape: "Eh?"
"EEEEEEEH?!"

Meanwhile, Rin couldn't remember the name of the game and had given up. Then a man in military clothes, even more than the policeman they had accompanied, asked why children were in the room. The girl instantly protested:

"Hey, we're not exactly children!!", she pouted.

Len stood frozen and didn't react to anything else.

Despite the oddness of such a question, it wasn't one uncommon to Luigi. Even in the Mushroom Kingdom, people are more used to a sight of the brothers together or Mario by himself, rather than Luigi traveling solo.
"Oh, last I-a checked, my bro was-a in Japan. I think-a it was for a tour. It's-a been a while though, so he-a might be somewhere else now."

His was caught by surprise by sudden yelling, likely from a young boy.
Luigi turned around in his seat to see a blond boy dumbfounded by his presence. "Uh..."
The Italian man was probably more well-known in this world than he initially thought. Though it was more of a pleasant surprise for Luigi.

"The Adviser"

Giving the commander a silent treatment. He somehow felt strange for the guy. Other than sounding older than he is. He raised an eyebrow when the Commander mentioned Blue moon's: Co Olaf. Perhaps this CO is also part of the Blue moon forces. It didn't matter to him if he is kept secret or not. Although it seems like he is very mutual to the big guy. "Affirmative, that is me. I'm The Adviser of the Orange star army." He didn't seem to answer the second question. All he gave was a slight nod. Which was a vague confirmation if he wanted to know or not but it all depends on the Commander if he wants to spare a word or two. GearBlade654 GearBlade654

'He even does the voice...' Peter thought midway through Luigi's reply back. "Oh, Japan? Well I hope he doesn't run into Nintendo." He chuckled to himself, unaware that the plumber already held a DS with him, meaning the two must've already gone through that whole scenario. As embarrassing as that might've been, it wouldn't have even compare to watching himself cry in a movie, along with many others across the globe, on a theater screen.

I scratch my head.
"Alrighty."
I put my Psi Amp on the table.
"So, you've probably figured out that I'm not from the Wars World. So, how exactly did I get to command Blue Moon forces?"
A deep breath is audible underneath the helmet.
"So, the XCOM exploration program was well underway once Cydonia, base of the alien invaders, was destroyed. We were interested, sending Firestorms out to all around the galaxy. With Elerium 115 engines, it didn't take long to find new planets. And all planets discovered were on the explore list. If memory serves correctly, your planet was one of the first."
Taking another breath...
"So, I head to your world, and instead of the lifeless world XCOM anticipated, I found a small military force dressed in blue. Some tanks, soldiers... so forth."
"This force was in a bit of a pickle here. Odd grey-suited soldiers were surrounding them from all sides. So, I decide to help out and offer my command. Don't know what made me do it, nor why the force actually accepted. But I got all of the force out with barely a scratch and the attackers with a lot of damage. Then, some days later, a guy with blue military clothing and a beard shows up, looking for the force. Looked pretty surprised when he saw his troops were barely hurt and a grey suited guy among them. Introductions were crossed, and I temporarily lead a force of Blue Moon troops."
"If you don't believe me, that's fine. But I'd just like to say it's an honor to meet you as well."

Again, with the silent treatment. He didn't really have much to say. He understood half of what they said and the other half confuses them. He seems lost in the story since he finds it a bit contradicting but in the end he didn't mind. He didn't came here to listen to backstories. He came here to finish a task. "I'm sensing you have no idea what I said. But that's fine-I'm used to that."
I sit down on a seat. Wish I explaines that better, but oh well. Can't have everything.

John stared at the two Vocaloids, before saying in flawless Japanese "You don't even look eighteen. I'm not bringing kids into combat with me." He seemed almost...sad when he said that.

The man's sentence had been heartfelt. Rin despite not grasping the true meaning behind it, had at least stopped pouting. Well, he did a point, but she still wanted to come so, after stopping to thing for a while, she promptly replied back:

"Tashikani, jyuuyonsai ni miteiru kedo... Bokura tachi wa ningen janai dakara, kore de daijyobu desu ne? (It's true that [we] look fourteen but... We're not human so, that makes it okay, right?) ", the girl finished with a smile.

After that, she looked beside that to make a comment about the conversation to her brother who, judging from the silence wasn't really paying attention.
At the sight of her frozen sibling, she tilts her head in confusion and waves a hand in front of him...no response. Rin blinks a couple of times before leaning over and inspecting one of his sleeves, all with the strangest calm.
She reads the information in the screen and then nods to herself in determination. Putting a hand on each of his shoulders, the older twim starts shaking the heck out of the other:

"Leeen~!! This is not the time for a system crash!"

(It's fine)
John frowns at Rin's excuse, starting to say "Just because you're not human doesn't mean it won-", before being interrupted by Rin trying to wake Len up. John rose from his chair, and walked over, a small look of concern on his face. "He okay?"

The girl stopped shaking her brother when the man asked if Len was okay:

"Yeah, he's fine. It just takes a while to reboot, that's all~", she replied, with a wave of her hand and turned her attention back to the boy, "Hey sleepyhead! You're going to miss all the fun like that!!"

It was if someone had shut down the television displaying the world. One moment he could see it, the next it went dark, and then he could see it again. But it still took a while to regain movement, thus he could see people but not interact with them. A normal person would have panicked, but Len knew that was just how rebooting from a processor overload worked, vision came back first and then slowly his other functions restarted too. Soon he could hear Rin talk to him and when the memory bank went online again he remembered what the place he was at was, then what he had been doing.
To the ones watching, it was nothing too different as coming back from daydreaming:

"...fun like that!!"

"Oh...", he blinked out of it, travelling his gaze from one side of the room to the other before focusing back on Rin,
"Did I, Did I crash?" "Heck yeah, you did! It was a big one this time! Geez Len, why must you be such an intro...intra...inter...uhh..."
"Introvert?" "Yeah that. Really, I don't crash nearly half as much as you do...", she crossed her arms with a 'hunf'

Not knowing what to reply, Len stood silent and scanned the room trying to work around the slight confusion over the 'memory' gap:

"Uhh, who is that man?", he pointed beside them at the standing individual in military attire. "Ah! That's... ... Actually, I don't know his name... Hey Mister! What's your name?!"

He looks down on the two teens, a hint of relief going through him when Len "woke" back up. He glanced at Rin, before giving a small nod and saying "John." He stepped back several paces, and then said "I don't think you're ready to go into combat. Human or not, you're still too young."

"I've gotta agree with John here. What tactical advantage would you two have in the battle? That is, if we're going to battle." Peter added.

"
Karen, are we going into battle..?" He whispered, asking the robotic advisor stored in his suit.
"
I'm not too sure we are. I could read the paperwork lined up on the walls and tables, but I think it'd best you wait like everybody else for the mission statement." Karen replied.

"
Fair enough." Peter mumbled.

"Nice to meet you John, I'm Len Kagamine", the younger twin had introduced himself (again), giving the man a bow, but was completely drowned up by his sister's outburst:

"Ehh?! That again?! But it's an adventure. I want to come!", she protested.

Her sibling watched the conversation with a confused 'what did I miss now?' expression. He stood silent trying to put the few hints he had together, when a new person spoke. Surprisingly it was a man in a red and blue suit who was...hanging upside down in the room? What? However, the man's speech was enough to put the picture together. Once the puzzle clicked into place, Len knew exactly what was going on... And he wholeheartedly approved of it:

"They're not wrong..." "Anta mou?! (You too?!)" "...What are we supposed to do? Perform the high range test and sing at people really really high pitched and annoyingly? That probably doesn't help anybody.", he concluded with a shrug, ready for Rin's new outburst in case it came.
She however, couldn't fight back. Not with three people talking against her... including her twin brother who was SUPPOSED TO BE ON HER SIDE!! COME ON LEN!!

"Fine.", the girl let out with an irritated tone, "Guess I'll just sit here then and listen to all of you talk for the entire thing, until you can drag me home, kono uragirimono! (you traitor!)", she slight raised from the seat and slammed down on it just to make some kind of point with the noise, crossing both her arms and legs, huffing annoyed.

Len sighed, he knew Rin would be angry with him for the rest of the day and maybe next morning too, but at least that had discouraged her from doing reckless, dangerous things. He would pick her wrath over having his sibling being in peril any day...

(OOC: Mowing in 104 degree weather is extremely fun.)

Luigi was at first concerned when the boy had seemingly stopped moving, but felt relieved it turned out he was alright. Though a system crash was mentioned, which made wonder if they were actually robots. By the mention of them not being human, it seems like it.

The blond girl had seemed upset that they couldn't partake in whatever adventure there would be. Luigi thought for a moment before coming up with a solution.
"I have-a some spare hammers from-a my past adventures. They might be-a little heavy though," Luigi remembered, realizing that they might not find it as easy to carry such weapons as he does, "but I can-a give you one if you need-a something to defend yourselves."

Rin had completely given up on having backup on this conversation. Angry and still pouting, she had decided to stay like this through the meeting and not glance back at her betrayer of a brother for the rest of the night. If he wasn't feeling guilty by now, she would make him!... Or that's what she had though.
In the middle of the arguments against her there was a kind soul that spoke not against her, but seemed to offer assistance!! The girl jerked her head towards the speaker, looking at him in awe as if she had been send an angel to solve the issue. Thanking God for this opportunity, her determination blossomed again and she turned back at her brother with an expression of 'Can I?!':

"Leeeeen~" "No."

The boy had been shaking his head the entire time that Luigi spoke, begging in thoughts for him to stop. 'Don't encourage her!', he should have said, but ended up not being able to. Well, anyone would be nervous to talk to a character from a game you like, even more to reprimand said character...

"But Lennyyy!", the girl insisted. "No. I know what you're thinking, don't do it. DOOON'T." "Huhhh", she muttered averting her gaze. It seemed like his sister had resigned for a moment and Len sighed in relief... Then she got up at once, slamming on the table:

"I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A HAMMER!!!" "Ack, Rin nooo! Why do you never listen to me?!..."

"The Adviser"
150ecge676gd9g087576-jpg.332994

The Adviser watched the events unfold in front of him. Amused by the interesting information his hearing. He found the green mustached man quite intriguing. That goes for the other people inside the meeting room, just so many interesting characters. The hasn't started might as well as know the individuals around him. He was kinda interested on talking to the well aged man who has been staring at him before. Looking towards their attention. He looked into them while giving a voice that is clear as day. "Pardon my interruption sir but... May i ask for your name and occupation?" He asked politely. He wanted know each and every single individual present. Hazeron Hazeron

Luigi nodded. "Okey dokey! The hammers are over-a at the hotel I'm-a staying in, so I won't-a be able to get them-a to you right away. But I'll-a make sure to drop by my-a room after this meeting and hand you-a one."

Though the plumber couldn't help but feel a little sorry for the boy. Luigi had been dragged into adventures against his will before, and didn't mean to inflict the same kind of situation on the blonde.
"You-a don't have to come-a to wherever we're going if you-a don't want to. There's a lot-a people here that can-a look after her," Luigi said. Mentally, the statement didn't include himself. Luigi was a coward, and he was well aware of it. He didn't want to end up making a false promise in case his own courage fails him, and if he does manage to muster enough bravery to help during dire times then that will certainly work out.

John turned away from the talk of hammers and adventure to look at the Adviser. He straightened up, snapping into a perfect salute, his hand almost touching the "horn" coming from his forehead. He was an imposing figure, his straight stance accentuating the black leather jacket he wore, a DD patch sown onto the breast. "Johnathon Slaner, private military contractor, sir." He stood at ease, his hands behind his back, a glimmer of interest and familiarity in his eye.

"The Adviser"

As the private military contractor named Johnathan Slaner stood and saluted him. He did the same as an act of respect. "Pleasure to meet you, Mister Slaner." He seems to be quite impressed on how the way they look. They look so... Professional. The way they presented themselves before him is very veteran like. Many unique features caught The Adviser's eye to the man. Like the strange thing sticking out in his forehead. He didn't bother to ask, thinking that it might be rude and personal. The logo on their attire was nothing that he has seen before. Obviously The Adviser found a great first impression with this man. "May i also know your age and specialty?" He asked politely again. He wanted to get a little more information about this man before moving on to the others. Hazeron Hazeron

The Adviser simply nodded towards their answer. He was quite impressed. He has never heard of an infiltration specialist before and he has quite the age. "Very interesting... I'm known as the Adviser of the Orange star army." He gladly introduced himself. Noticing the logo once more he asked. "What forces do you serve, sir?" He asked once more. Hazeron Hazeron

A faint hint of nostalgia and remorse appeared in John's eye. While he had never heard of the Orange Star Army, meeting someone who was clearly military reminded him almost of home. After spending a moment letting the feelings go over him, he replied. "The Diamond Dogs." He left out the bit about Outer Heaven; even with knowledge of his world public here, he still felt it was prudent to not bring it up unless necessary.

"The Adviser"

The Adviser rubbed his chin for he has never heard of "Diamond dogs" before but it sounded so powerful to hear. The man has really caught his attention. "Thank you for your information, sir." He ended with a salute. He sat back down waiting for the meeting to actually start. His eye scrolled through the meeting room.
