Connor :


Connor stood up from his position settled beside Luna. He himself was worried about her, and knew she wasn't really all fine and dandy. Within his own mentality, he was still attempting to push away the many emotions running free and wild inside his consciousness. Realizing he was wrong with his assumptions, Connor immediately began to panic mentally. He truly didn't want to be held responsible for doing such and ruining her night.


Listening to her fumbled expressions and wording, he couldn't help but smile. Here he was, disappointed and sure she ditched him, only to discover her lateness of attendance was only to benefit his eyes. Truly, Luna was a handful. To his surprise, the entire time, Luna had been truly struggling to dress accordingly. Well, he couldn't blame her. For he did the same thing, but his timing was way better. It wasn't her fault her friends didn't show up originally like his did. "Luna-"


He glanced down at his clothing at the very moment she had decided top mention his shirt. All in the same he was smiling. She truly liked him, and he loved her. Still, he could never bring himself to reveal his deepest darkest secret to her. his attraction to boys. With a small smile, Connor extended his hand outward towards Luna, awaiting for her to take grasp. It seems the shirt idea worked. He would have to thank Ash for it later at the party, if he got the chance to. "Thanks, I got it from a friend. Lets go, Im sure the others are already there."

 

[Rise]

"These brownies are enough for me, Flo." Gavin replied as he finished his first one and grabbed a second. He was starting to feel a bit of the effects of the first brownie and he relaxed into the back of the armchair. Gavin held his brownie close to him as Lloyd talked about him hogging all the brownies. "B-but they're so good! My precious!" He then stuffed the brownie into his mouth, a content look on his face.


Gavin was listening to Lloyd be all philosophical about chairs and whatnot as he was finishing chewing the rest of the brownie in his mouth. He then looked to his right to see that Jovelyn and Natalie had entered the common room. Throwing his hands up, he yelled, "Jovey, Nattie! Glad you can make it!" He then scrambled from out of the armchair he was relaxing in to give both Natalie and Jovelyn a tight hug. "Would the lovely ladies like a brownie? They're extra good!" He offered with an overly happy look on his face.

Roxie finally made it to her dorm. She walked in to see her roommate was gone. "Must be at the party." She went to her closet to see what she should wear. Finally she found somthing and got dressed and did her hair the she texted Jovelyn asking if she was at the party.

Jovelyn Lynette Belrose

Jovelyn was taken by surprise when Gavin hug her and Natalie. Her eyes widened in shock, her cheeks blushed red, and her palms became sweaty. It's just a hug Jovelyn keep it together! Just as Jovelyn moved her arm to hug Gavin back he opened his mouth and began talking once more offering them brownies. The initial shock was gone and replaced by disappointment. Are you serious Gavin? You're offering me pot brownies? And here I was thinking-- Jovelyn looked at Gavin with a polite smile. "I think I'll pass this time Gav..."And the next...and the following after...Besides, someone needs to stay sane and make you don't do anything utterly reckless." Jovelyn said ending her sentence with a wink. Gosh you're so stupid Jovelyn!

Jovelyn felt a slight vibration in her jacket pocket and fished out her phone. She swiped the screen and saw she had a message from Roxie and drew in a sharp breath. Oh gosh. Please don't be in trouble. Please don't be in trouble. Jovelyn had noticed that the only times Roxie texted her was when she was in trouble or needed help with one of her schemes. Everything else, Roxie told Jovelyn in person. Jovelyn let out a sigh in relief when she saw the text was only to know where she was. "Yeah I'm at the party. Are you and your pals coming after all?" Jovelyn pressed the send key and put her phone back in her jacket.

Roxie was messing around with her make up but then she heard her phone go off. She read the text then answered back. "Yeah we are is there a lot of people there?" She put down her phone heading back to the bathroom that is until her phone rang. It was one of friends calling her back. "I'll call them later them back in a min." She said to herself then headed back to the bathroom fixing her makeup.

Flora

Flora made a loud, shrill squeak as she giggled. "Chairs are funny, like they are just four legged things that don't actually have legs because they aren't alive!" She giggled and pulled her legs up so that her head rested on her knees."Gavin, don't steal Lloyd's girl!" She sounded disgusted. "Come, she got out of her chair and danced around the middle of the common room, giggling, her arms waving about. "AH! I love you all!" She squealed, still spinning around as she fell back into her chair. Then her face twisted, confused. "Where's the music?"

Ash

​

As Ash walked silently down the the common room with Infinity, he could smell the faint smell that was marijuana. As they got closer, the smell became stronger, and he was almost overpowered by it when he entered the room. Natalie and Jovelyn were stood close to the door, and Ash had to move around them to see what was going on. Lloyd looked positively high, his feet placed awkwardly on the chair but the rest of his body was flailing on the floor. Then there was Flora, who was dancing in the middle of the room, as if she was some drugged up hippie-which she was. And then Gavin, looking at Jovelyn and Natalie expectantly. He looked out of it too.


Ash turned to Infinity, "I've gotta go make sure he's okay." He nodded to Gavin, though really, he just wanted to apologise for earlier, even if Gavin wouldn't remember it.


Ash strolled over to Gavin, "Gav!" He said and as he got closer, he felt a strange feeling, "Sorry about earlier, for putting you on the spot." He smiled, apologetically.

Luna took grasp of Connors hand, a relieved expression being plastered upon her facade. She was glad to have finally made Connor smile, and hoped to truly make a mends for her tardiness. With pep in her step, she led Connor inside, heading straight for the Common room.


Before even walking through the doors, she could simply smell a party. With a small giggle, she led Connor thought the corridors, entering the Common room with her hand in his. Realizing she was still holding his hand, Luna let go with complete nervousness.


Covered by a small cough, Luna gently kissed Connors cheek, before moving from his side to go and join Natalie and Jocelyn. She spotted Gavin, and gave off a polite and friendly wave. Deep within her mind, she was still stuck on the events held between herself and Connor. But in the end, all she could do was hope for his forgiveness.

 

[Rise]

"Oh, you're so cute, Jovelyn," Gavin said with a smile as he noticed Jovelyn's reddening face before looking to Luna and Connor, who then entered the common room, returning Luna's wave a bit over enthusiastically. Then he heard Flora's chiding, which caused Gavin to roll his eyes and shake his head as he turned in the direction of Flo. "How could you accuse me of such things, Flo? If anything, just trying to share the love!" And about to join Flo's dancing in the middle of the common room, his eyes widened when Flo brought up the music situation. She was right. There was no music!


"Ash!" Gavin exclaimed as he heard Ash say his name as he approached him. He just waved his hand to let the apology go and just stared at Ash. "It's not a big deal. We have a much bigger problem now." Gavin put his hands on Ash's shoulders, his face close to his and looking straight into his eyes. His voice held a complete serious tone to it. "There is no music."

Infinity walked next to Ashton the only sound their shallow breaths echoing down the hallway as a obscure scent familiar to some became known to Infinity as they entered the buzzing common room te smell got stronger she nodded back at Ashton and briskly walked towards Gavin grabbing the plate of brownies from his grip as he was distracted she disposed of them quickly in a waste disposal and then went back to Flora me raised her frame off the floor "Come on Flora where going to have a fun adventure," She cooed as she began to lead the girl to her room.

Jovelyn's face only got redder when Gavin told her she was cute. Oh pish posh Jovelyn. He's only saying that because he's high. He doesn't really mean it...does he? Jovelyn shook her head with a slight smile as if she found his comment funny. Flora had now started dancing around the room even though there was no music. Jovelyn looked at the girl, a bit freaked out. Behold the effects of marijuana. Jovelyn felt another chime in her pocket and saw another text from Roxie. "Is there a lot of people there?" Jovelyn looked up from her phone for a second to take inventory of the room and overheard Flora complaining about there being no music. Jovelyn rolled her eyes and replied to Roxie. "Flora, Llyod, Natalie, and Gavin are here."




Just as she was going to put her phone away Ash and Infinity entered the room. Jovelyn's eyes grew wide at seeing Ash and Infinity together. When did that happen? Jovelyn gave a small inaudible laugh and sent another message to Roxie "Ashton and Infinity just arrived" Jovelyn looked up one more time so see if she missed anyone, but that seemed to be it. She was about to send the text when Luna and Connor arrived hand in hand. Jovelyn smiled at seeing the two together and continued the test. "As well as Luna and Connor" Jovelyn pressed send and put her phone away.

When Jovelyn looked up form her phone she noticed Infinity dragging Flora somewhere else and Luna making her way towards her and Natalie. "Hey Luna!" Jovelyn gave the girl a small hug noticing her mind was somewhere else. "You alright, Luna? You seem a bit off...

Roxie heard her phone go off and went to go check it. Jovelyn had texted back telling her who was all there. She read the list then noticed ,"Luna and Conner huh? Cool guessed he worked it out." She put the phone in her pocket and then left the dorm heading to the party.

Ash stood there as Gavin grabbed his shoulders. His face was close to his, and the room became darker; the lights turning off. "No music?" He laughed. "Sure, let's go...find some music!" He grinned. For some reason, he pulled Gavin in for a hug. He had begun to realise that at this school, he was the happiest he had ever been. Of course, many people made his time here enjoyable, but he noticed that it all came down to Gavin. Perhaps it was because he was his roommate. Perhaps.


As Ash pulled away from the hug, he saw that everyone else seemed particularly content. He had begun to come to the conclusion that he never wanted to leave this place, ever.

Luna finally reached her destination, standing quietly before Jovelyn and Natalie. "Uhm...Yes I'm fine." With a nervous giggle, Luna gently clasped her hands together, placing them both at her front. "Are you two enjoying yourselves?" She decided it would be best to cover up her questionable mood, by simply asking them both of their current opinions.


With a simple flip of her hair, Luna shifted her gaze between both Jovelyn and Natalie, allowing them both equal attention from her crystal blue irises. After what she had been through just to stand in that very spot, she may as well play happy go lucky while it lasted. She simply had a timid feeling something was about to happen sooner or later. And hopefully, she wouldn't have to be any part of it at all.








Connor simply watched in silence while Luna separated from his grasp. Shifting his own attention over towards Gavin, he couldn't help but to allow a small smile to paint over his worried expression. He himself felt relieved, but still guilty as to what took place between himself and Luna.


With a pitiful excuse for a sigh, Connor tucked his hands safely and securely away into his front pockets, strolling over intently towards Gavin. Who currently was speaking to Ash and running off into pure panic for the lack of music. That shouldn't be much a problem though, right? They could just get an aux cord and hook it up to the sound system and use their phones.


With a simple shrug, Connor finally spoke up, just as he took his final few steps, landing to stand in front of both Gavin and Ash. "No music? That wont work." Upon Ash's suggestion to hunt out some music, Connor decided it was best to voice his opinion. "Anybody have an aux cord?"

 

[Rise]

Gavin was not paying attention to a single word that Ash was saying. He could smell the smoke off of Ash's breath as he spoke, gulping from how he noticed how close their faces were. His eyes ever so flickered down to Ash's lips as he spoke, Ash's laugh sounding like music to Gavin and his grin revealing of what Gavin described as a perfect row of pearly whites. He had to bite his lip to prevent himself from crashing his lips upon the lips of his roommate; if he allowed himself to, even though he had those brownies coursing through his system, he could have kissed him. It took more than all of his will not to pull Ash into a kiss, especially with how the lights turned off and gave it such a romantic mood.


The breath was lost from Gavin as Ash pulled him into a hug, his face deeply reddening due to the fact that Gavin could feel quite a bit of pressure in his pants. He was quite thankful when Ash pulled away from him. I shouldn't have stuffed my face with those brownies or worn these skinnies... Gavin rubbed a hand over his face as he swayed a bit on his feet, feeling a bit lightheaded. "No music? That wont work." Connor had walked up to them and Gavin nearly jumped out of his skin; his mind was a bit preoccupied with how handsome Ash was. His heart was already racing all because of Ash. Gavin thought he was going to be sick.


"Don't you two chaps have dates to entertain?" Gavin sounded a bit snappish and he shook his head, taking a breath as he took a couple steps back. "I-I'm gonna get some air..." He quickly turned on his heel and rushed off in the direction of the fire escape exit, slipping outside into the night air.

Flora

Flora swished and swayed around the floor, until she heard a crash in the trash can. She looked up. Infinity had thrown away her brownies, and she was on her way over to Flora. "Excuse me!" She snatched her arm away from Infinity. Everyone seem to go quiet as she raised her voice. "Throwing away my brownies, and then wanting to go on 'an adventure'." She laughed, "What, and do you think we're friends. We sure as hell aren't now any ways!" She looked devastatingly angry. She ran her hand through her hair and made a frustrated sound, "Do you know how much those brownies cost me?" She shook her head and then realised the party had gone quiet. She smiled, held up a finger and turned around. There was a stereo in the corner of the room, she flicked it on; ignoring whatever music was in and waited for the soundtrack to start, before she turned back around. Within seconds, people were dancing to some generic dance song that Flora did not care for.

Ash

They pulled out of the hug and Ash gulped as he saw how red Gavin's face was. Her look at him quizzically but he was knocked out of his thinking when Connor leaped over to them, "Anybody have an aux cord?" Ash looked at him and squinted his eyes, "Can't say I have." He smirked. Gavin was acting weird again, he remembered. He stepped back, reminded them of their 'dates' and shook his head. "Actually, I didn't ask Infinity." He said, but Gavin was already on his way out. "Wait!" He couldn't let him go this time. He needed to know what was the matter with him. Why was he always in the midst of a mood swing. He followed his roommate out of the room and out of the fire exit. "Gav, what is the matter?" He spoke quickly, with his slowly fading British accent.

 

[Rise]

Gavin was leaning against the railing, trying to calm his erratic heart as well as trying to slow his breathing down. It was incredibly hard for him to calm down with what was in his system and all. Please don't come after me. Please don't... The whites of his knuckles shown as he gripped the railing before him. He wished there was a breeze and mentally berated himself for going outside instead of going to the closest bathroom where he could lock himself in a stall for a long while.


Goddammit! Gavin groaned inwardly as he heard the door of the fire exit swing open and heard Ash asking what was the matter with him. You. That's the matter. He thought as he looked up at the sky, not turning to face his roommate. Gavin was slowly getting peeved by this, wondering how in the world Ash could be so oblivious to the slowly building attraction within the past couple of semesters Gavin had for Ash and it was reaching its peak.


"You know you're starting to sound like one of us," Gavin chuckled, brushing Ash's question aside, "if you don't be careful, you're going to become one of us yanks." Taking a slow breath through his nose, Gavin turned around to face Ash. The smile on his face turned into a bit of a grimace as he cringed a little. He should have known not to take anything tonight and should have stuck with alcohol for he knew what the special stuff does to him, every little detail exaggerated so much he could get lost in them.


"I think Flo's losing her touch with the brownie making, I just feel a bit sick." He gave a halfhearted smile. "And don't worry about me so much, man. As touched as I am for you always checking up on me, you won't get a girlfriend if you're always worried about little ol' me. Go have fun with Ini and we'll catch up later, yeah?" He leaned back against the railing, gripping it with his hands. "I'm just going to stay out here for a bit. Now go win one for the team!"

At being left alone, Connor sighed. Let's just say that this wasn't the first time he was ditched. Slowly, he paced around the room and every once in a while he glanced at Luna, taking in everything about her. Wow, he had really scored with her. He smiled to himself and continued to pace until he came around a plate of presumably chocolate brownies. Connor glanced around, wondering if it was okay to take one. Quickly, he grabbed one and broke it up into 2 equal pieces, placing one piece into his mouth. "Hmm..." He whispered. That was quite delicious.


Slowly, one by one, Connor ate more and more of the brownies. His vision began to get dizzy and blurred. He then staggered over too Luna, embracing her in a behind-the-waist-hug. He whispered seductively into her ear, pushing his body against hers. "You look really sexy tonight..."

Roxie friends changed there mines about coming and she ended up going alone. When she finally got there seemed like more and more people were showing up. She looked around to see if she could fine Jovelyn. While looking she noticed a few people eating brownies and acting a bit strange. And devious grin came on her face. "I wonder how they would react if I dump their brownies in the trash." But she wanted to find Jovelyn first. She kept looking around and finally found her. She was standing next to Natalie and Luna. "Hey guys what's.....up......?" She noticed Conner hugging Luna from behind acting strangely. She raised her eyebrow then it hit her. "Well somebody ate to many brownies. Haha."

Ash

Ash sighed. It was evident that Gavin was trying to hide something; trying to push Ash away. He squeezed the bridge of his nose. "Sure." He shook his head and walked over to him, leaning over the ice cold railing. The metal stung his elbows, but he was concentrating on the breath that was becoming visible in front of his face. "The thing is, I don't want to be with Ini." He swung his head. He had finally come to the decision and had spoken it out loud. "When I'm around her," He gulped, "I don't feel...anything." He leaned his head further down and clasped his hands together of the back of his neck.


"What do I do, Gav? I mean, I feel like-like there's something missing, as if I'm supposed to do something, but I can't see what." He sighed once again, and his breath was visible again. He looked down at the grass below the concrete steps. It was blowing slightly, and it made him acutely aware of the cold.

Luna blinked her eyelids numerous times, the feeling of Connor's warm body contacting against her own causing her to gulp. "Uhm, Connor, are you alright?" Contemplating whether she should take his words as a compliment, or as a hazardous sign, she decided the logical conclusion was best. This wasn't the Connor she had arrived with. "Excuse me ladies. I have to....escort this one away." With a small sigh, Luna twisted in his grasp, shifting her gaze to meet his own drunken one. "Lets go." Immediately removing his hands from her waist, Layla took hold of his left hand into that of her right hand, and began leading him cautiously out of the common room. Although disappointed to have to leave the party early, she decided it be most important for her to get Connor out of harms way as soon as possible. Which meant right now.

 

[Rise]

Gavin's eyes widened as Ash told him he didn't want to be with Infinity. It confused Gavin. Wasn't Ash acting a bit nervous and such over Infinity earlier? And now he didn't feel a thing for her, which for some reason made Gavin feel quite a bit of relief that there was a high chance of his roommate not getting into a relationship. Though he did feel a tad bad for Infinity for she had been absolutely smitten over Ash for quite some time, Gavin could tell, but Ash couldn't help how he felt over the girl and neither could Gavin with Ash.


He combed his fingers through his hair as he wondered what to tell Ash. He was at a loss for words. Here his roommate, his closest friend, was looking for advice about what was missing, about something he couldn't see, and all Gavin could think about was his feelings for him and wondered if it was that that Ash was referring to.


"Maybe you're gay, man." The words slipped out of Gavin's mouth before he could catch them. "S-sorry..."

 

[Prizzy Kriyze]

Lloyd had been lying on the floor tiles, pondering the existence of ceiling tiles when he flinched. He looked over at Flora who seemed to have gotten in a fight with Infinity. He looked at the two, and somehow got that they were talking about the brownies. He scrambled up from the floor and looked in the trashcan. "Aw man.." He complained, seeing the wasted brownies spread in it. He sighed, then raised the the joint to his mouth again as a sort of comfort for the lost brownies.


He turned around and walked to pick his dufflebag up again, then dumped on the table where the brownies had been. He stuck his hand down into it and fished a bottle of jägermeister out of it he took a quick look around and wondered where Gavin had gotten to. He had been there just a moment ago, and he must be bummed out over the brownies. He took a glance around the room and noticed the fire escape. Well, if he ain't here...


Lloyd kicked the fire escape open and noticed Ash and Gavin standing there, but he felt like the atmosphere was tense. ".. Oh, hi." He said and looked between them. "Uuh. Alcohol?" He offered, and extended the bottle to them.

Whilst being pulled away by Luna, Connor stole a kiss from her and he smirked. What he was doing right now, he had no control of. "Luna, Baby!" He smiled, wiping away the crumbs of brownie from his hand. "I'm fine! I haven't even had one beer! But I want to see you tonight..." Connor smirked, embracing his body again around hers, placing his hands more down that normal.


And with that, Connor let go of her and staggered over too Lloyd. "My man, hand me one!" He said, pointing to one of the beer bottles. Obviously, Connor had not been informed about the 'special ingredient' in the brownies.

Ash

There was silence for quite sometime between Ash and Gavin, but then he said, "Maybe you're gay." Before apologising promptly. Ash laughed, before realising that he had never thought about it before. Maybe he was gay? It was a possibility. He had found men attractive in the past, but he assumed it was normal. His parents had never talked to him about it, so what was he to know if he was gay or not? "Maybe-" Ash was about to confide in Gavin, but Lloyd barged in, offering alcohol. He would have accepted, if it wasn't for the sickening feeling in his stomach. He turned to Lloyd and shook his head, "No thanks, mate, I need a clear head for tonight." He said, as if he would have to make some sort of grande decision.

Luna immediately felt her cheeks warm, a small sense of embarrassment engulfing her. Shaking off her now inappropriate thoughts, she refused to allow him any further consumption of alcohol, dragging him out of the room without any further intereaction with others. She didn't even allow his request to be answered by Lloyd, but had already pulled him out into the corridors and down the hall. In a rushed manner, she pushed him into her shared dorm room, carefully shutting and locking the door behind herself. "What have you gotten yourself into?" She spoke in a hushed tone, carefully placing him on the bed, before settling herself to sit at the end of the bed. Shaking her head, she watched him cautiously, hoping he wouldn't attempt to escape the room, or even worse, something else she was afraid of.
