Has very eccentric tastes and accepts all things weird, and very open minded for hearing all sides of an quarrel. The lady who puts her foot first and makes things right without hesitating.

At first glimpse, it’s transparent that the town’s priestess has a sketchy history--to the inks she lets show after work hours, to the fact her arms cut so precisely off her wrists.
And you wouldn’t be wrong either. All the knowledge of this lady so far are immortalized in documents, so her history has loads of holes, even for people who have these documents.
Beatrice was a seventh in command of a strict no-kill drug cartel and made her way up within six years of service. She lived the majoiry of her teenage hood identified as a missing child, taken from her blood family at age 14 by her mother’s ex. But don’t get her wrong, Beatrice was fully participant in running away with her stepfather. At the time, she was eager for any method of sweet release after the years and years of pressure by the overly controlling and religious parents she had, being born the only child of a corrupted, but successful lawyer couple who had no standards for their clients or what they said to get them free. Overhearing their conversations would turn out beneficial to her growth to the top, using her knowledge of the people in high statuses to blackmail pawns into her game of chess. Bea would later become the second kingpin and the planning hand of the cartel.
For a while, things were thriving, at least until the cartel until one of the leaders violated the no-kill rule. Repeatedly. On the second time, Bea saw past the ‘accident’ bullshit and started refusing to take any part in working with them, but unfortunately, that wasn’t well received.
Who knows what happened then, but things changed one humid summer night when she turned herself with two fewer limbs. Beatrice admitted to her crimes and shortened her sentence by listing off every name she could think of without a drop of hesitation. What became 13 years was drastically shortened to the point where she got out of jail at 24. But as we know now with Yaki, the cartel wasn’t completely broken over Beatrice’s betrayal. But, in a much more poetic sense; the cartel also lost its important limbs that it never fully recovered from since that day. It became a historic moment within the the group.
The government put Beatrice under witness protection and she searched as fast as she could for any dying, obscure parts of the world she could squeeze the rest of her life at without living through the consequences of her past life. However, it was made easier the day she met Roman, whose town just happened to be in need of some hope. Beatrice uses her religious upbringing and encouraging nature to her advantage.
Rumor has it they met at an AAA meeting in the city and became fast friends through going to night clubs together.

This is one of the reasons why he was chosen to be signed up for the rehabilitation program, in hopes that he'll feel comfortable enough to reveal information needed to take down the gang and both test out this concept at the same time.

All existent documents about this man are from his once estranged mother and other witnesses—because as it seems, Noriyaki has a damn good skill at keeping his trap shut. So that being given, his story has a lot of missing blanks.

As of now, there were no confirmed turns that led Yaki into petty crime, as it seems like the young man was simply born into it. His mother was unknown to him until now, and his father was a careless addict who exposed him to violence and opioids young. Because of the mix of cultures between the cartel his father was in, the school and his street, Yaki had to learn two different languages young(not including his own) without help from his father. His reclusive character and lack of English at school granted him nothing for a social life and it became natural that his only connections growing up would be his father’s fellow cartel members, whose language was the only one he was fluent in at that time. It just so happened the ones he knew were way more supportive toward Yaki than his father could ever be on top of that, introducing him into the world of art which became his only outlet for a while. However, Yaki would quickly grow used to his creations being destroyed whenever his dad was having a tantrum, and it was only until later he found a way to immortalize his art through the power of social media. Unfortunately: this would soon become two things. 1, His only other form of connection to the outside world and 2, his undoing.
At age 16, Noriyaki was kicked out of the house after his dad snooped through his phone and discovered that his son was openly pansexual on social media. And since then, Noriyaki’s life hit a downward spiral. He lived under his father’s friends, making a living off of doing the only thing he was familiar with and dealing with issues the same way his dad dealt with him, which by means is ignoring them with Blanca at his aid. The rest of how he got there from here is a cluttered mess of details, because not only are there contradicting stories from witnesses, but the fact that Yaki was and still is a bumbling mess of unpredictable chaos. All that’s really known is that Yaki had a close relationship with one of the leaders before he started failing at his job due to multiple ODs and benders. After not meeting quota for the sixth time in the row, Yaki was swiftly dealt with and kicked out of a family for the second time in his life.
Noriyaki’s supposed to be dead right now. He was half beaten to pulp before police found him but, much to his gang’s benefit, he has yet to release any valuable information due to a bullshit concept of ‘honor’ that police believe is actually just disguised fear. As of now ,the only thing that keeps Yaki going is his social media account that just so happens to contain some of the happiest moments of his life. The police involved in his case suspect that Yaki was a victim of violence in is childhood.

The mayor is the youngest child of five, his older siblings having moved out straight after they became of age, thus leaving Roman the most fit to stay for the family business, with having the life of study behind his hands and used to being the family ‘butler’ as contributing reasons. The alcoholic has strong feelings toward those who regard their jobs as easy money—the previous mayor, AKA, his narcissistic mother being one of them. His mom had a special way with sewing words to manipulate others with false promises and make herself look like the sorry victim, and Roman was no exception to it all these years. Though growing used to it, he still falls inside the same guilt trips she gives and takes the blunt of what happened to the town. Before Bea, it was the only relationship he knew. Thus, he’s easily manipulated.
When his mom retired early with none of her mayor promises fulfilled and the town worse than it was before, it was no surprise to Roman when he was expected by his family to take up the responsibility. But despite all this, the mayor still holds onto the chance that maybe things aren’t so bad—that if this town gets back to its glory days, his mom might be proud of him. Roman grew up without control of his life, and often he deals with his current lack of choices with alcohol, one of the things he can choose. When it’s not his family, Roman becomes defensive whenever someone else enters his life and tries to tell him what to do.
Despite being mayor, he seems to lack control over his own life and wellbeing. His optimistic nature kept him going all these years and looks as if it influenced his decision to let in the criminals. Supposedly, Roman used to go to AAA but relapsed since then. Can’t live a day without having alcohol in his system.

Xuan used to live in the city, her parents were welders and she had a twin brother who doubled as her best friend. However, at age 6, after they had died in the same car wreck Xuan survived, she’s been living under moving foster family to foster family since. She’s been given up on two times before the church because in her foster family’s eyes, she was damaged goods. The change of homes and insistent abandonment diminished her self confidence over the years. These past families weren’t so much the best, she grew up cherished on first arrival then quickly discarded and treated like a nuisance because of her mute and kleptomaniac nature was the norm. Sometimes, Xuan still has trouble believing that her current mother actually accepts her for who she is.
This girl nowadays has vague memories of her real family, but they’re mostly overwritten with the faces of her past foster families. It seems like a lot of the time Xuan has trouble seeing people for who they are, mixing up faces and names quite a lot with things she’s more familiar with. It’s not unusual to be given 5 different nicknames by Xuan.

These days, the church child speaks through her hands and sketchbook, sometimes going on about an imaginary friend she has.

She tries to act really elegant and such, gets embarrassed easily, super competitive. Maybe wip pretty out of it today.

She’s feisty has a slight temper when someone does something she doesn’t like, Alena is rather likely to try to start fights with people much bigger than her. Sassy, has a little attitude while being a somewhat teddy bear when alone. Hard worker, she really likes labor where she gets to use her hands, and build stuff it comes rather natural to her. Backstory: Alena is a newcomer to the town, hailing from a far off outskirts of a neighboring city. Where she was finally caught after robbing multiple houses, leaving someone’s property with a large number of sheep that she claimed to of been rescuing. Being booked right then and there by the cops as the flock roamed off into the horizon. There isn’t much she likes to say about herself other than she is stuck in this town, and wants to leave. Wip

Backstory: Jack Levesque, a Canadian born, who was grew up on the streets of Quebec. While yes he lived on an orphanage, it didn't mean he liked to stay there so often time he would escape. He learned how to take care of himself, learned how to fight but more than anything else, it was were he learned how to be a waiter, having spent his small young childhood watching waiters from the window of restaurants. Once he was 12, he took his first part time and worked as a waiter before running away from the orphanage and travelling hard and long before finally reaching his destination.
