Sangriella flinches as Soon as Myst touches her, healing her injuries.Though her aura did not activate, she felt something familiar. Something she’s felt on occasions. What she’s been feeling was her aura? Sangriella looks over her small gashes admiring Myst’s handy work. “That’s incredible! You can heal people?” Before she could hear Myst’s reply, Sangriella turned to the principal. Students have gathered around him and his digital screen setup. He started by confessing the reason behind the obstacle course. To evaluate every individual’s skills. He even admitted the runway was meant for ID which is something Sangriella cringed. She wondered what her photo looked like. It definitely wasn't going to be pretty. Even more surprising is the fact Myst nailed it on the head. Did she by chance know the principal or is her senses sharp?

Principal Vos began to announce teams. The most suspenseful part of the event is hearing where one stands. It’s especially nerve wracking when Sangriella’s team was mentioned first. As if that wasn’t stressful enough, she was nominated as leader. The hooded girl’s stomach drops blurting a “what” underneath her breath. Did she hear him clearly? She was the leader? How? Why? She didn't do an amazing job. What could the principal even see in her? As if reading her mind, Vos specified how badly she failed on the course, but pushed through as a leader should. Sangriella wasn't sure whether to feel insulted or flattered. The principal informed everyone of their dorms, and uniforms before dismissing everyone to their own devices.

Sangriella opens her scroll and opens an app meant for beacon academy purposes. Her expression on the ID was of her surprised. Yep, that is exactly how she feels at the moment. Sangriella sighs heavily as uncertainty waves over her. “At least I got potential? Right?” She asked herself before taking her belongings, and carrying them into the building.

Inside was remarkable. Black marble flooring and white corridors with Roman columns. It was definitely a fancy school for her liking. Many of the teens were loitering, simply enjoying themselves. The magician had never seen such a relaxing and sociable place. Though she has gone to stores before, but never in a populated area. Inside, at the center of the entire building are statues. Walls decorated with students over the years and glass cases containing awards. Stairs leading to various doors to who knows where. To Sangriella, it’s a glorious place. A place of wonder where it stores knowledge. Just the sheer architecture is enough to cheer Sangriella up. She takes a deep breath and says, “I made it, mom.”

Her eyes darted over to a map containing directions to the facility. The bedrooms are up ahead on the third floor. Content, Sangriella puts a pep in her step towards the chambers. Climbing the stairs was the scenic route, but she didn't mind because it gave her a layout of the building. Everything she would need is here. A safe haven and a place to train, even mingle. She will put forth the effort to be…normal. On the third floor, Sangriella searches for the number on the door before opening it with her scroll. The room was cozy with a view of the forest. Four beds for each person and a chest to store away items. On each wall held a wardrobe for clothes. Sangriella sighs once more and drops her bag which was held under her cloak the whole time. She never realized it made her look like the hunchback. Regardless, she has arrived at the school she longed to be in. Sangriella removes her cloak, finally revealing her face and letting her midnight hair fall. Ah flops on the bed testing how firm the mattress is. “This will be my home for a while.” She sits up and realizes there is a cold breeze when in fact, her pants and shirt are torn. “I better change.” She said as she searched for the right pair of
clothes.

Asher would grin softly to himself they'd made it! and best of all they made it into the same team. "well this went perfectly glad we are gonna be on the same team" Asher would say with a big wide smile on his face first one he'd have in a long time as normally he was pretty chill frankly. "anyway guess we need to find our other teammate then hmm? ot at least our forth one, pretty convenient that we ran into you and Yumi" he'd turned towards Shujin. "also congrats on being our leader too" Asher extended his hand for a handshake. his smile returning to a softer one..

While the small fox clung onto his back, Shujin continued to address the two individuals who stood before him. The one named Nula appeared to be a nervous wreck for some reason while the other male who still hadn't introduced himself attempted to make light of the situation from earlier about how he jokingly considered Yumi a thief. Staring down at the extended hand, Shujin kept his arms to his side for several moments before reaching to shake the other male's hand in a show of respect. Immediately after, the two seemed to question him regarding how he came across Yumi to begin with. For a moment, Shujin paused in silence about how he was going to explain to a bunch of strangers about how he met Yumi without giving away information about his past connections with the White Fang, since he had found Yumi during one of his missions.

"Well...I--" Just as he started to speak, the sudden sound of the loudspeakers coming to life had Shujin snap his attention towards the source of the noise. A large monitor that had the face of the headmaster came up, he congratulated everyone regarding the passing of the obstacle course, and then proceeded to name off teams as well as the members and their leaders. When Shujin's name was called out along with Nula, Asher, and Silver, he was left speechless the moment he was called out to be the leader of his team. "Wait a minute-...leader...? He's kidding right..?" Mumbling under his breath at the thought of leading others, Shujin stared down at his hands that appeared to begin shaking as Asher's words became muffles to him.

As he lost himself in his thoughts about being a leader when his original goal for coming to Beacon was to become a hunter so that he could simply do good and repay his previous sins. It wasn't until Asher had extended out his hand once more to shake Shujin's to congratulate him on being selected as leader did he snapped out of his trance-like state. With widened eyes, he'd glance up towards the male, only nodding his head to try and act as though he was paying attention the whole time.

Livi Wulfric

  • This was an important day for Livi, it was her chance to get into Beacon Academy like her father once did, and to fulfill her dream of becoming a huntress. At that moment Livi laid across her bed, in her room in the attic of her uncle's shop. It was early in the day that Livi decided to jog to the Academy rather than take some sort of transport after all she needed to keep herself in good condition cause what good huntsmen isn’t in good shape? So Livi with a sense of lightness in her every step, arose from her bed, then she swiftly and yet carefully packed her belongings into her rucksack, then she changed herself out of her pajamas into her comfy and yet functional training attire.

Then she picked up her rucksack threw it onto her back, and began walking out of the house, but before all else out of the corner of her eye, she saw her Uncle Ragni who was yet again sleeping on his chair slouching over some mechashift weapon he was making or repairing at the moment, not wanting to see him in that state Livi picked him up from the chair and moved him onto the couch and covered him with a blanket. Now having done that she walked out of the room grabbing an apple on the way and closing the door behind herself as she left.

With a snack in hand and a few hours till the beginning of her study at Beacon, Livi took a bite out of the apple, plugged her headphones in played some music, and began her jog towards Beacon, with each step falling into the rhythm of the song she was listening to. The cold morning air on this jog felt wonderful on her skin and hair, this sense of freedom and relief from the heat. After a few hours of jogging Livi arrived at the Beacon Academy, truthfully she could have been here earlier if she remembered that Beacon Academy resided on a cliffside above the town.

Now on the grand plaza of the Academy Livi saw some people running through a course, it appeared she was a bit late but considering the person inside had not finished yet she probably could squeeze in and have people not notice she was late. Seeing what was ahead of her Livi secured her rucksack tightly took a running position and shot off into the course.

The first obstacle was a couple of Hurdles which Livi cleared swiftly by dash vaulting over each one of them to keep her momentum going, then there were monkey bars, thankfully Livi’s momentum from the run and vaulting allowed her to jump high enough to reach the bars. Now like a little monkey that Livi isn’t, she’s a wolf, not a monkey, but with the grace of one, Livi moved from bar to bar finally ending on the final bar and the jump, being the last one in the course had a great advantage she didn’t have to worry about anyone behind her, so she swung on the last bar, back and forth building up momentum before releasing her hands flinging her forward though cause of a small miscalculation with her spinning in the air, Livi would land partially in the acorns and pinecones, but with quick thinking before reaching the floor Livi performed a shoulder dive roll.

Thanks to that maneuver Livi managed to barely miss the acorns and pinecones, truthfully she didn't want to ruin her favorite training attire after all. But just to be sure Livi did a quick check over her outfit removing some dirt from it and a few pinecones she clipped while performing the dive roll, now clean she began her run up to jump into another shoulder dive roll on the other side of the mud. The lessons of parkour from her mother were handy more often than not, and Livi was thankful for that.

Then Livi walked up to the runway area, or rather run up from the side to jump onto the runway for she didn't want to tarnish her outfit with some granny clothing that was forced on most people who ran this course before her. Wanting to show off a little Livi used her semblance Wolf Pack to manifest Ikki her third wolf and the smallest of the three, then she began to strut forward towards the cameraman with wide steps allowing Ikki to weave between her legs each time, finally she knelt on one knee with Ikki next to her and her hand on his head looking into the camera.

The camera flash was bright to blind Livi a bit, but Ikki nudged her in the direction she needed to go and barked at her when she reached the edge of the runway so she wouldn’t fall off it. Now Livi was still a bit blinded by the flash, but with her pup on her side, she strode in the direction Ikki was nudging her. At some point, Ikki started to growl-bark which for Livi meant to stop, and that danger was ahead, thankfully with a few nudges from Ikki, Livi understood she was meant to drop down and crawl forward. In the middle of the barbed wire crawling Livi’s vision finally fully came back, on her side was Ikki crawling through the barbed wire with her, after all, Ikki was the most clingy of her wolves.

After crawling through the barbed wire, though dirty the two were happy, sure the barbed wire pricked them here and there but aura took care of it, now all that was before them was a wall the only obstacle between them and the finish line. So the two of them took a running start with Livi a bit in front she ran up a few steps on the wall and managed to grab the edge of the wall and pull herself up, then she hung herself off it, with her legs on the other side and arms towards the part of the course she cleared, with Ikki now running up the wall to the best of his wolf abilities though not being able to fully clear it, but still within reach for Livi to grab him by his paws and pull him to the top. Then the two simply jumped off the other end, and simply walked through the finish line, then Livi knelt towards Ikki patted, and scratched his head before disabling her semblance making Ikki vanish in seconds. After all that Livi cleaned herself out of the dirt.

Livi awaited concentrating on her ears and by extension hearing trying to hear her name being called by the man she could only surmise was the principal. Livi waited hoping to hear her name being called by the principal, but her heart broke a bit not hearing it upon his dismissal of the students. Sure she did have the ID but what would the ID alone do, so she walked up to him with her tail hanging low and ears lying on the side.

“Umm excuse me Principal Blanche sir, my name was not called for the teams, was it because I was late or was it an error?”

bd626a424709dcd93809c5a189dc9be3.jpg Blanche made his way indoors when he heard one of his students question their absence from the list. "I'm certain your name was called. You simply missed it. If you're wondering who your teammates are check the scroll. Your name is registered on the app." Blanche spins on his heel to face Livi. His expression uninterested in the conversation even though he didn't bother to reconsider his mistake.

40c3de53c78db6b3dcd2eff1cad56c54.jpgLuckily, one of the teachers glosses over Livi's shoulder to read their scroll. "Livi Wulfric. She's supposed to be on Marigold's team, sir." Blanche shoots Jade a brow. "Are you certain?" He queried in an attempt to be menacing. However, Jade was unwavering knowing how aloof the man can be. "Positive." Jade pulls out the tablet for him to review. "You assigned Zeki with Marigold instead of Livi." Blanche glances between the device and the faunus. "I suppose I misread. Go ahead switch them. I'll be in my office if you need anything else." Jade smiles apologetically at the wolf faunus. "Sorry about that. He's not the type to admit his mistakes when it comes to teams. He's just exhausted since yesterday he worked hard on the obstacle course. Don't be afraid to stand your ground. He'll give in. I have made the proper adjustments. You're part of Team S.S.Y.L. now. Welcome." They chirped.

Silver retrieved her jacket after the obstacle course, still covered in dirt, and observed as her peers completed said obstacle course. Most of them did pretty well, some better than others admittedly, but overall she was impressed with her fellow students and their physicality and strategy. As the last of her peers crossed the finish line, the headmaster gathered them and informed them of their teams and who the leaders of said teams were. As well, as telling them where to find their dorms, uniforms, and perhaps most importantly food.

She was placed with a Nula, seemingly the timid girl with glasses. An Asher, who was the rather large companion of Nula. Seriously, what did he eat to get that big? And lastly the leader of her team, Shujin, a fox faunus with a fox cub who traveled with him.

She wandered over to her team who had conveniently gathered themselves in one place. She watched as Asher congratulated Shujin on being named team leader. Was that the proper thing to do in this situation? Well, when in Vale, do as the Valeites do. She clapped a dirt-covered hand onto Shujin's back as she approached, "Congratulations on being named team leader! I look forward to working with you."

She then turned towards her other teammates, "That goes for you two as well," before she quickly added, "The working together part not the being named leader part." "Oh yeah, I'm Silver, Silver Yukiumi, nice to meet you all."

Surely that would do for introductions, right? Normally, her grandfather introduced her to other people, so this was brand new territory for her.

Soleil began to take the bandages out of his bag, when he spotted a faint glow. Looking up, he saw the other girl - he didn’t quite catch her name - hovering her hands over Sangriella’s wounds, and to his surprise, they seemed to be visibly healing. Impressive. He was about to say hi when a blaring screech made him cover his ears.

Looking up, he saw the principal standing in front of a screen - seems like that was some feedback from the speakers. Soleil already had sensitive ears as is, so there was no need to irritate himself by moving closer. He saw that the two girls seemed to be focused on healing, so Soleil wandered a little further away, where he could still see the screen. He eventually settled into the branches of another tree, as the height let him get a clearer view of the screen.

He listened to the speech, cringing a little when he heard that his student ID would use his photo from the runway. Daphne is never going to stop making fun of me… According to his family, Soleil looked like a mannequin whenever his photos were taken, down to the pallid, expressionless look. Either that, or it was the “deer caught in headlights” look. Both sounded horrible, but Soleil hoped it was the former.

He was taken out of his train of thought by the team announcements. Sangriella, Yuuki, and Zeki. At least one of the names is familiar. Mentally taking down the names, Soleil prepared to go back to the dorms. Jumping down from the tree, he went into the building. He opened his scroll to take a look at the map. However, he was jumpscared by his ID. Ack. I look like I just saw a ghost. The pale face staring back at him was undoubtedly his own, only emphasized by his name, right above it in large text. But it wasn’t as bad as some of his past photos, so he would take that as a win.

Noting down his dorm room, he switched tabs to the map. The campus was about the size of his estate back home, but navigating the labyrinthian buildings would be a whole new challenge. Focusing on the path to his dorm, he walked into the hall. Unfortunately, there was someone right in the middle of the hall. Unaware of his surroundings, Soleil walked straight into said someone. The impact made him drop his scroll on the ground, and it switched to his previous tab, exposing his name and ID.

“Tss. Why do I keep crashing into people today…” Looking down, he saw a head of black hair. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you there.” He stepped back and picked up his scroll. Looking at the girl, she seemed to be a wolf faunus. Feeling a little bad for walking into the girl, Soleil decided to introduce himself. “Sorry for walking into you, my name’s Soleil. And you are?”

Rosalia Aureliano

IMG_0373.png

Rosalia looked at the results of the teams, and she simply gave a smirk. She was the true heir to the Aureliano, of course she would be the one to lead, to her someone who had studied to lead since she was young, it was merely common sense for her that she’d be the one to be the leader of her team.

She seemed to be gleaming at before returning to her calm demeanor when the cafeteria was mentioned, it would be fine to grab something to eat. She pulled out her phone and sent out a message to the rest of her new team.

“Salutations, I am Violetta Pyrite, I would give a more complicated greetings, but It’s more proper to do that in person. I will be getting some dinner, so if you have nothing to do, you are join me, that would be lovely. Otherwise we shall have our first interaction as a team in our dorms before we settle in for the night, I hope to meet all of you soon.”

Rosalia gave that simple message, while getting to know your subordinates was paramount, there was no rush at this moment in time. Better to let everyone else have their own agency.

Rosalia headed in to the cafeteria, with having left her bag of dust infront of the office of a certain person she knew would keep it safe for her. Rosalia would then walk to the serving table and pile massive amounts of food on top of her tray, making an entire mountain of food for her which she gets back to an empty table for herself, before attacking the mountain of food.

  • Livi was a bit nervous when speaking with headmaster Bos, who wouldn't he is the defacto superior of everyone in the academy, and upon hearing his harsh words her tail snuck between her legs as if to hide. Thankfully some staff member approached the situation and handled it along with the headmaster skillfully, even giving her a tip on how to handle interactions with Vos in the future, truth be told that person gained the favorite staff member badge from Livi right in that moment in her heart. Now a bit revitalized, her tail perked up once again and began swinging from side to side, Livi turned on her heels towards Jade and gave them a bright smile and a small bow to signify thanks, before Livi checked her scroll for the dorm placements and ran off in that general direction while waving as a goodbye to Jade.

Through her little jog towards the dorm's direction was stopped after a little accident where a collision happened between her and Soleil. Sure the impact did hurt a bit, but they were meant to be huntsman so this small amount of pain was meaningless in the grand scope of things, she did want to see who walked into her so with a small turn Livi looked at the tall man, looked at him from top to bottom, then at the scroll that he dropped. Feeling a bit bad, her ears flopped to the sides, but when he began speaking they perked back again from a angy feeling. Livi knew she was small, but saying that they couldn't see her cause she was so short was nearing her breaking point, she was about ready to tear a new round posterior into the man but he began to apologize for walking into her, and she didn't want to create trouble on her first day in Beacon so she took a deep breath, let it out and began to talk to him.
"Please don't mention my height I have a bit of a complex because of it, all my family is tall except me. My name is Livi btw."
Livi could feel that something was going on, something wasn't right, the gears in her head started turning as a hamster in his wheel went into overdrive, before she realized it, she just needed to make a quick check on her scroll just to make sure and it turned out she was correct she was a part of his team.
"Uhm it might sound weird but you do know that Zeki Myron that was on your team, that headmaster Vos spoke about.... Yeah turns out it was a mistake, I was supposed to be part of the same team as you...... Awkward isn't it..... Anyways let's get to our dorms before someone walks into us, besides I will need to explain it to the other two members as well."
Said Livi while scratching the back of her head with one hand after speaking of her realization, then after a bit of awkward silence she turned around and walked off slowly towards the general direction of the dorms, though she did give a glance or two behind her to see if Soleil was coming after her.

The course is finished. Everyone standing about in the finish line. Shujin did not explain Yumi's origins as a big mobile monitor took everyone's attention. Nula was left puffing her cheek from the distraction and perhaps some other time Shujin will explain the cat's where they came to be. For now, she is greeted by the big show principal, themselves. Her eyes winces at the announcement. No doubtedly paired with Asher confirms she is now a teammate now, plus Shujin and their cat probably too. With the last member being a girl named silver, whom she has hardly seen throughout so far. While some maybe proud of this moment. Nula remained pale and jaw dropped from the ID confirmation and the feeling that she was just went through the whole thing like its a game show, even so far as looking around for more hidden cameras but failed to find any. She can only sigh, head drooping in defeat.

The principal was rather young looking, almost looks like a fellow classmate than an aged superior that she would expect in this setting. Subverted expectations aside. The silver haired girl named, Silver has arrived. A bit awkward but not a stutter in her words compared to Nula herself. She waves hello to the newcomer.
"H-Hi... Pleased to meet you too..." ending with a nod. Nula hurries over to her luggage, a white schoolbag with a complex look and a chrome travel bag that looks like a disguised machinery pretending to be a suit case.

Later that day

Beacon's past records were on the halls. Students who have graduated and immortalized with awards displayed of their hard work and talent. Nula's were eyes sparkling like the ocean in bright sunny day. "I wish I can be cool..." She whispers to her heart. Moving onto her dorm room she immediately placed all her bags in a corner, still in an organized manner. Her team was off to do their own thing, getting used to the new environment. Nula was rather still perplexed to what have happened earlier today. It was rather nothing like back in her old school.

"Wait! No! My packed lunch! Its going to spoil if don't take with me!" She was already down the stairway in this realization, running back past the doors she was a few doors away from her team dorm. Opening a nearby door and sliding into the room. A loud thud of the door announced her presence.

Nula stops at the edge of the rug of the rather empty dorm room. Her stuff was not in this room and there is a girl with midnight hair who appears to be about to change into a more appropriate clothing, it was Sangriella, the girl whom she had met earlier before. Nula's face slowly turns warm red
"Uwa! Wait! No! I was just-- Wha!!!" Short gasps and backed up against the wall. Nula instantly removed her glasses. More fumbling in her words than a rocky landslide. Saying among the lines of "I didn't see you" or "I'm really sorry!" in her stuttering voice. Patting against the wall like a blind adventurer in a cavern looking for the door as her glasses dangles in her fingers.

She starts with her pants before switching to her shirt. Halfway down to putting down her shirt, she hears a slam of the door. Sangriella immediately jumps at the sight of Nula watching her half-dressed. Her face beet red as she apologizes for watching. Sangriella's face becomes flustered as well pulling her shirt down. "N-Nula?" She squeaked. "Wh-what in the world are you doing here?" She pauses shifting her demeanor as she realizes something. "Are you in my squad?" The idea of having Nula on the team would explain a lot, but after a second thought, Nula was not mentioned. Again, her cheeks grow rosy out of embarrassment. She scratches the back of her head sheepishly. "Now that I think of it, you probably entered the room by mistake, didn't you?" Meeting Nula for the second time certainly was interesting. There is always misunderstanding.

Sangriella smiles softly to relieve the tension. "It's fine. It happens." She walks over to her bag shuffling for a tube filled with candy. The lid was a cute cat head. "Would you...like to try some of my candy? It's a sour ball. I'm not too great with sour stuff yet." She tilts the head back as the cat tongue offers a red candy piece.

So, that was it huh, he was chosen to be the leader of an entire team without so much as asking or even giving a possible way to dispute the idea. After shaking hands with Asher on the congratulations of being chosen as team leader, the sudden pat on his back caught his attention only to find that it had been another female, this one with white hair a bright blue eyes. While he hadn't met her until now, it was clear that she was the final member of their team, Silver Yukiumi. Rather than responding vocally to the female, Shujin simply gave her a nod as a show of thanks to her congratulations before taking a few steps backward to face the trio that was his new team. "Its nice to meet you all. Since introductions are not exactly needed for this very moment since we'll be sharing a dorm...uhm...I will need to take my leave for now. I'll see you all..later...?" With that said, Shujin immediately turned on his heel before sprinting off toward one of the larger buildings of the academy. Surely, the headmaster made a mistake, how was he supposed to lead a team, surely one of the others would be better suited for the position than he was.

As he sprinted down the halls, he'd attempt to stop anyone who looked like staff to ask for directions to the headmaster's office. Everyone that Shujin stopped stared at the young male in concern since his face had been covered in sweat and his hair had been a complete mess from how much he had been sprinting. Some even attempted to tell him to pause and take a breather after giving him directions only to watch him bolt off in the direction that he was given. Meanwhile, the entirety of the time that he ran, Yumi had been hanging on for dear life on his back, digging her claws into the fabric of his coat so as not to fall off and be left behind.

The search for the headmaster's office turned out to be nearly half an hour of running around. Eventually, though, he'd come to his destination, standing in front of the wooden double doors that would lead him into the chambers of the headmaster, Shujin panted heavily from the sheer exhaustion of running around only to reach an arm out to knock on the door before hearing the 'mewing' sounds of Yumi calling out to him from behind. Snapping to his realization that his small furry companion had been hanging onto him the entire time he was running, he'd quickly reached for the small animal behind him only to cradle her into his arms. "Oh, I'm so sorry Yumi...I was in such a panic, I completely didn't even think about you. C'mon... let's get this all sorted out with the headmaster together." With the small animal in his arms, Shujin would reach an arm forward to knock on the door before speaking up to ask permission to enter.

"Hello..? Headmaster? It's me...Shujin Yagami? May I have a word with you? It's about...the team selection, and about me being picked as leader of team S.S.A.N."

“Well then guys suppose we will meet up again once we all head to the dorms and work out what’s going on from there in the meantime Time think I’ll take a look around get familiar with the place“ Asher commented seeing as everyone else got awkward about the whole situation and started heading off in their own directions that was fine and all he just hoped Nula didn’t get into too much trouble.
—————
so as it turned out it was probably better for Asher to move his stuff into the dorms first this meant the oversized rolling case that he kept all of his tools in and the rest of his luggage as well.. meaning a huge almost wall in front of him that he was stuck pushing along oh well that was the price for being prepared for any occasion at least in regards to weapon making.. or fixing or other weapon-related and things but that was beside the point. And sadly for Soleil he fell victim to being bonked by the big trolly of stuff luckily it wasn’t hard just annoying wack to the back of the heels. “Aaah shit sorry bout that you ok?” Asher asked peeking out from behind the huge stack of stuff tho Asher was also just as massive really 7 feet and a bit tall.

Headmaster Blanche Vos

bd626a424709dcd93809c5a189dc9be3.jpgBlanche had entered his large office. He plopped on his chair with a heavy sigh. Sitting at his desk with the sound of returning students felt surreal. He knew he would take his father’s mantle regardless of his desires. The path was forged for him without a say or perhaps the guilt of his father’s death was the final trick to steer him to be a headmaster. Still, he was the only one who knew the ins and outs of the academy without the need of postponing school and teaching another to take over.

Blanche’s fingers brush over the mahogany desk. The same one his father used to sit behind. He recalls all the times he would visit whether by choice or because of his behavior. The one room where his spirit lingers. “It’s my turn to take the reins, father. It’s not going to be like you expect but it will be better, and more efficient that will give Beacon better results than any other previous headmasters.”

The moment is broken as there is a knock on his door. “Yes?” Blanche answered. It was Shujin and his concern over leadership. Snow sniffs the door as though intrigued. “You may enter.” The moment Shujin enters, Snow begins to poke their nose across the teen’s body as though searching for something. The culprit happens to be an arctic kit. Blanche said nothing, and instead urged Snow away to their bed. “You’re questioning my decision?” Blanche interlocks his fingers and rests his chin over them as his elbows rest on the desk. “Or are you simply concerned that you are not leadership material? I understand how overwhelming it can be, but you have the traits of one who can guide their teammates. I’ve observed you on the field, but overall read your application. It’s vague, but I assume you have your reasons?”

The platinum-blonde stands and approaches Shujin. “On the course, you showed ambition to complete it. You were focused, finishing in record time, and all while carrying this little guy.” He points to Yumi. “You put them first over anything. You made sure to devise an alternate path. Sure, anyone can do that, but it’s quick thinking that can save your comrade’s lives. In the midst of battle, there won’t be time to consider your allie’s safety. I can also tell that you have a kind heart.” Blanche smiles at Yumi. “Otherwise your companion wouldn't be in good shape. Their coat is silky smooth looking, and their appearance seems healthy. Aside from that, they seem quite fond of you to allow you to hold them in your arms. Shall I go on or is my answer satisfactory?” Blanche hoped the boy would be assured now with his explanation. Regardless of how Shujin feels at the moment, Blanche was not going to back down. Shujin has potential and it is only a matter of time before he can see it himself.

“By the way, did you apply for your pet to be here? We don't usually have them-or at least we wouldn't allow them under my father’s rule, but we make exceptions now as long as they have a collar tagged on them with I.D. We wouldn't want to lose them, would we?”

“Oh, I didn’t mean to call you short, but I’ll keep it in mind. Nice to meet you Livi.” When Soleil heard her mention the groupings, he opened his scroll to check. Sure enough, the group’s name had been changed to S.S.Y.L., and Livi’s name was listed at the very bottom of the team members.

“Yes, I see the team name has been changed. It’s nice to meet another one of my teammates. I already ran into Sangriella before this, so the only one I haven’t met seems to be…Yuuki. Well, she’s probably in the dorms, so let’s get going?” Leisurely trailing behind Livi, he noticed that she had a pair of ears and a tail. That’s strange, I should ask her about it later.

As they walked down the marbled hallways, Soleil took note of the windows. They seemed to be a little high up, but nothing he couldn’t jump from. He hoped his room had a nice, scenic view, preferably with lots of trees.

As they made their way through the halls in silence, Soleil could hear the rumble of wheels behind him. Someone must be moving their stuff. Not looking back, he took a step to the left, closer to the wall, to give the person space. Unexpectedly, as the trolley was making its way past him, the heavy cart hit the back of Soleil’s legs, causing him to fall forward.

Shit, not again! Bracing for the fall, Soleil quickly activated his semblance, causing his skin to gain a metallic sheen. Thanks to that, the fall didn’t hurt anything but Soleil’s ego. Under his breath, he muttered, “God, my luck is just…”

Standing up, Soleil dusted his pants, and looked at the offending trolley. Unbeknownst to him, he still had his semblance activated, so his skin still had a metallic tinge to it. When a head finally peeked out from behind the trolley, Soleil glared a little at the man, though his glare softened when the man asked if he was alright.

Sighing, Soleil ran a hand through his hair, tail swishing in annoyance. Manners, Soleil, manners. “I’m alright, thanks for asking.” It felt rude to end it there, so Soleil perfunctorily introduced himself. “I’m Soleil, you are?"

Replied Livi to Soleil while scratching the back of her neck while her wolf ears moved a bit unnaturally on top of her head to reflect the change in her emotions, their movement was snappy and less fluid almost as if they weren't real ears but instead fakes, like animated prosthetics of real wolf ears, though one would have to have seen how the ears move on a real wolf or their faunus counterpart to realize it.

Now with the two on the move towards their team's dorms, through the great marbled halls of the Beacon Academy, misfortune struck again, our poor Soleil was struck again this time from behind, and a cart no less. Livi was a bit startled at the fact that in the short span of a few minutes, Soleil was struck twice by someone so trying to lift the guy's spirit a little while completely trying to ignore the giant man behind the cart that struck Soleil spoke to him.
"Either you Soleil are cursed so people walk into you or you into them, or I might have croaked that one out, though I did not see a crow recently so. Also..." Livi quickly looked from Soleil to Asher and back before finishing her thought. "...Why are all the people I meet freaking giants! I hope at least one person on our team is relatively my size or I swear to gods, some knee caps are gonna bend." Said Livi while cracking her knuckles at the end of it, only to realize that Soleil had that metallic sheen on him, probably his semblance. " So as the iron man here said he is Soleil, and I'm Livi. Now care to tell us why you ran into him???"

So the course did have a purpose, myst had been so sure she was right that the idea that the headmaster had wanted to see their skills in person had completely flown by her as she saw the idea that others missed. The headmaster had something of a reputation, though really anyone that looked that young and was headmaster would likely get the same reputation for being an odd ball he got. Well hopefully the others on her team would be able to point out such things to her latter, should she decide to look past the obvious and see a deeper meaning in things. Despite skipping the display of skills Myst had indeed passed and in truth she would have done it in a way that avoided most of the issues anyways. Her shield had several gems of dust in it and through a combination of them she could have simply flown over the course. Well closer half gliding, half controlled falling. Either way she had passed and Myst had faith the headmaster already knew how each person picked worked. Hearing the would not be the leader made sense to myst she wasn't really the leader type others didn't follow how she thought and she wasn't to much of a fighter so respect would be hard to gain. While Myst thought about all this the girl she had been talking to left, oh well. What was sad was the the puppy was on another team, Myst had wanted to ask if she could pet her or something.

Then her scroll vibrated as she got a message. Myst took it out and looked over the message half wondering how her number was obtained, though likely she had just missed it being mentioned. The message from the team leader was rather formal almost like a memo from the hospital might be. Myst had not expected that as weren't most teams meant to be friendly? a business tone might be to serious given unlike those you couldn't just hire a new team member when one got fed up and left. Maybe the person was just not good with others and didn't know how to talk to people in a friendly tone. well if Violetta was going to be eating myst figured she should as well.

Myst would get her shield and stuff and head into the cafeteria and thanks to the I.d. Myst could find Violetta fairly easy her pink hair was unique. Though Myst with her silver hair also was rather special but Myst liked to think being rather tall made her stand out more. Myst didn't actually get food and instead sat down next tot he girl that was the teams leader. " Memos are not fun " She said as well who liked memos and she wrote in a memo style.[/SIZE]

He'd awkwardly scratch the back of his head smiling a little bit at least he got the name of the poor guy he ran into and it also turned out that there was another person, though frankly this just made everything extra awkward. "Well awful foot to start off at mr Soleil, names Asher Cobalt, nice to meet both of you" he'd say in a relaxed tone, the last name might be familiar to anyone who was interested in more exotic hunter weapons name being attached to a design and commission firm of sorts, a fairly well known one too.

his attention shifted too the wolf faunus girl Asher quirking an eyebrow. "Oh well I guess I'm a bit tall runs in the family honestly but nice to meet you as well miss livi, as for why I ran into him well I brought my personal forge with me it's a little big, hard for me to see past it but once I get it into the dorm it really won't be an issue." Asher would explain calmly. Though notable the longer he stood there the chiller the air got like the guy was sucking in all the heat because he basically was doing so.

The moment Shujin had entered the room, the sudden sight of the Siberian white tiger had nearly caught him and Yumi off guard at first. As the feline approached him and began sniffing closer towards the male, the moment it started sniffing Yumi, she'd return the gesture with a slight hiss before attempting to bap at the tiger's snout. Tucking his small companion closer into his embrace, Shujin approached the headmaster and his desk, before he could usher out another word, the headmaster was quick to respond to the reasoning for Shujin's arrival. Even with the male's words regarding questioning his decision and how he presented himself, Shujin showed no signs of being intimidated even if this was the headmaster, his years in the White Fang had taught him that, no matter what threat he should face, he was to never show fear as fear could be something an enemy could take advantage of if they noticed it on you.

As the headmaster proceeded to address Shujin's concern by bringing up the main reason why he didn't want the position, he didn't believe he was leadership material and that was just what the man had brought up. Listening to him speak and explain how he acted during the obstacle course, he'd stare down at Yumi who only returned his gaze before reaching up to attempt and paw at his face. By the time he had finished speaking, it was clear enough that the man would not back down on his decision no matter what Shujin would say one way or another. So rather than argue, he simply nodded his head before giving a slight bow to show his respects. "Thank you, sir...there is no need to continue, I will take your word to heart and do my utmost best to live up to your standards.." As he spoke, the headmaster was quick to bring up about Yumi's collar, lifting his head to stare towards the headmaster with slightly widened eyes, he hadn't even been aware that registering pets was a requirement. As his grip around Yumi tightened at the concern that he hadn't registered her yet, he had the fear that someone would attempt to take her away just because she wasnt registered.

"N-No sir, I have not gotten her registered. She stays with me at all times...I can get her registered after we are done with our meeting...so, if we're done here. I can go do that."

Looking back up to the silky haired woman, Nula looked dumbfound. Slapping her glasses back into her face, a ball of sweet sugar is presented before her. "You make... Candy?" A slight sign of enthusiasm in her voice, nevertheless she takes the red sour ball. Sangriella's sweet smile looming before her, she gulps and pops the candy into her mouth. First bite explodes with flavor in her tongue. Her face puckering and her posture jolting one to two times. Trying her best to look cool under the free treat.

"It tastes... G-good..." Expressing a thumbs up, followed with a last jolt of wince from head to her toes.

"So... Uhm... I'm sorry for-- Barging into your r-room, like this..." Luckily Sangriella is the one present here. "C-congratulations that we both made it. The test was k-kinda pretty hard huh? Whatever is making him skittish, hopefully it will change for the better too. Having a team to rely on has the ability for people to mature. However, Blanche wasn't going to try and worm his way into his student’s hearts. Not like his father. He has learned to play the waiting game and earn mutual confidence from his students.

The mention of Yumi deeply concerns Shujin as if he asked a loaded question. It’s clear the fox meant a great deal to Shujin the same way Snow meant something for him. Blanche steps aside to give Shujin breathing room. The last thing he wanted was to keep the boy hostage. “My apologies. You may go.” As Blanche returns to his seat he says, “you can register your friend on your scroll.” With that, the Headmaster returns to work on his computer.

Hearing Asher’s apology, Soleil accepted it with a small nod, tail continuing to twitch slightly. There was no point in crying over spilled milk.

Livi’s response was a little…odd, but well-meaning. She had quite the temper, given all the threats, or perhaps that was standard practice where she was from. Her height complex seemed to be a personal issue though.

Iron man? Confused at the strange nickname, Soleil glanced down to his hands, and noticed the familiar glint. Damn it, I forgot to turn it off. Watching the metallic sheen slowly fade off his arms, Soleil refocused his attention to a pair coming out of a door further down the hallway.

As they drew closer, Soleil could make out their features. A raven haired girl, as well as a short, pink haired girl behind her. He was about to move out of their way - lest he get run into for the fourth time today - when the taller girl spoke, asking if everything was alright.

Wait, I recognise that voice. His guess was further solidified by her following words. So that’s what she looked like. Seems I was closer to my room than I thought. Also, the hallway seems to be colder than usual, even with the air-conditioning.

At her offer of sweets, Soleil gladly took one, taking the green candy from the cat’s mouth. What a cute dispenser. Briefly brushing his fingers over the cat's head, he looked back up at Sangriella. “Thanks for the concern, everything’s fine. Just an unfortunate run-in.”

Popping the candy in his mouth, Soleil swirled the sweet around his tongue, appreciating the sour taste. Reminds me of Yvonne’s Valentines’ chocolate, albeit significantly less burnt.
“This sweet is nice, did you make it yourself?”

  • Livi accepted a small black sour candy from Sangriella’s cute cat dispenser, though personally, Livi would prefer a dog dispenser, she then popped the candy into her mouth crunching on it a bit savoring the contradictory sweetness of the sourball candy, though she was pondering why black licorice was sweet for he when to most it was sour she couldn’t help but appreciate the flavor.

Glancing briefly at Sangriella, Livi’s gaze drifted slowly to the rooms behind her or to be exact their numbers, before returning her gaze to the two girls. With a casual yet inquisitive tone, Livi directed her attention to the towering figure of Soleil, at least compared to Livi’s short stature.
“Alright, let’s get to the point. Who’s teaming up with this big guy?” She inquired, gesturing toward Soleil with her thumb. “ For context, there was a mix-up during team reading, and I was supposed to be on the same team as him and a few others instead of Zeki. And seeing our team room nearby, am I safe to assume at least one of you is part of the same team?”

"oh no thanks not really feeling like any candy at the moment but the offer I do appreciate none the less" asher would say with a short nod "but yeah i think we all got off on the wrong foot, though poor Soleil here seem to just attract bad luck hey?" he'd reply not making a joke of it more just a statement.

"oh hey Nula was wondering where you'd wandered off to you good?" he'd add spotting Nula and smiling softly as he said it. "anyhow guess we've got a little party going in the hallway hey good to meet you all now most of us won't be working together but doesn't mean we can't be friends outside of those particular situation hey?" he'd add with a nod before humming a little.
