  Howdy,
  
  I’m Rogue (they / them): your friendly neighborhood chaos goblin. I’m looking for a few writing partners who want to create some wonderful stories together, and if you’re looking at this thread, I imagine you are too.
  
  Currently, I’m craving to write fantasy plots, of the low or high variety. I’ve included a few vague ideas as a jumping off point, but by no means am I married to them. If you have something to pitch to me — whether a completely new idea, or redirection of one of my own — do so!

  YC, the firstborn child of the King, but born a woman, is being tossed aside as heir in favor of her younger half-brother. MC is a younger son of a great house, forced to serve in the royal guard by his family, specifically as YC’s sworn protector, to assure he couldn’t challenge his older brother’s inheritance.   Dragons are a rarity, a dying breed. Even more rare are those born, destined, to ride them. Our characters serve as rival dragonriders in opposing, warring kingdoms.   An ancient, cosmic threat, banished for hundreds of years, is breaking free of its prison, threatening not only the realm, but the entirety of the world. Our characters are new recruits of the Order of the Grey, whether by choice or conscription. Once a grand and respected Order, many have forgotten their role in overcoming the last incursion, and wave off their warnings.   Our band of misfit adventurers, down on their luck and owing money to a local crime-lord, take on a job from a shady individual to seek out an ancient artifact of power. Only, upon its return, they discover the cult that hired them plan on using this artifact to raise an old gold and bring about the end of the world.
