Flaming Asshat
It's Silvervale's annual foundation fair, a week long celebration of its uniquely strange history will be commemorated by locals, tourists and passersby. The city has been restlessly preparing for the festivities for two months and the fruits of their labor is soon graciously to be had, sure there were some incidents involving a few vandalized landmarks
You can't remember when you took it or who gave it to you but you unfolded a flyer from your pocket, it's one of those specialty papers misted with some fragrance. This one smells sweet but not the sharp sweet, like a whisper of sweetness, and then it hits you: It's Pond Apple, it checks out as it's Silvervale's designated fruit.
The flyer read:
Tinker Throwing (Day 1, Feb.14, 2021 / Sunday)
-Bring a silver trinket to throw into the Silver Swamp, 1 trinket = 1 wish, your trinket can be anything made of silver and most people go with coins, silverware or medallions while some have thrown in wheels, chastity belts, armor and even daggers. Don't worry about the Swamp, officials will clean it up afterwards, do mind that you can't retrieve things you've thrown in as it will belong to the city.
Silver Egg Hunt (Day 1-7 Feb.14-20, 2021)
-It's like an Easter Egg hunt but with eggs made out of silver: 10 silver eggs are scattered within Silvervale, and 10 lucky people will get random freebies(loot bags, coupouns, gadgets, or a whopping 50,000 Dollars) upon returning the eggs to the mayor's booth by the plaza.

Of course you also wouldn't have missed the apartment bulletin, Bert does a persistent reminder to take notice of it every time you catch him in the hallway, it said:

-Party starts at 8 P.M., RSVP by this bulletin or you won't get your food nor get to bring a plus one.-
