Boris didn't have much trouble sleeping last night. He may have fallen asleep a little annoyed, but when he began to stir in the morning it was forgotten. He could never stay mad at Ana for long anyway. Letting out a yawn Boris sat up tiredly, for once not being woken up by the yells of the guards. Rubbing his blurry eyes he glanced over at the cot against the wall opposite to the one he was in, growing confused when he saw that it was empty.

Rubbing his eyes to get all the tiredness out of it he focused on the bed, still seeing it empty. He frowned, why wouldn't his buddy Blaise wake him up when he got up? Why would the dude go to breakfast without him? Boris let out a sigh, hopefully, Blaise wasn't fed up with him on the first day. Deciding to not risk the guards getting mad at him, he got up and struggled out of his clothing from yesterday into some new ones.

He usually tried to not change whenever possible for this very problem, but he had to since yesterday was so eventful. Brushing his hair with his left hand he hobbled out of his room, not seeing the usual guard outside his cell, but someone else at the end of the hall. Giving them a smile that wasn't returned, he made his way to the makeshift breakfast area. He was still a little mad at Blaise for leaving without him, but maybe the dude just wanted the good food so it was fine.

Pushing open the door, Boris limped into the room. His eyes fell on his sister's familiar form quickly, his gaze sliding to those that were seated next to her as well. He was confused that Blaise wasn't present, surveying the room, but not seeing his blonde friend. Frowning slightly he made his way over to Ana, confused at his missing roommate, and as to why there was a new face at the table. "Yo sis, what's up, why there new meat at the cool kids' table? Also, where's our new friend? He gone to take a dump?"

He sat next to Oliva at the table, his spot next to his sister taken up by Holden. He sent another look around quickly for Blaise, still not seeing his friend sitting at another table, or coming back from a steamy dump. Boris hopped that nothing happened to his new friend, it would suck if he had died after only a day with Boris. He never got to show him his cool red socks, that would be such a shame. Those red socks were so cool...

// #00001 - Kasai //

Kasai looked at the strange quick hand movements with squinted eyes with a brief head tilt by a few millimetres before being tugged by the guards and letting out a growling grunt She didn't need to hear his words to know what he wanted, giving a hidden smirk by the head visor she stood still, a low chuckle let out in the quiet, "That all? Yeesh, guess you are some kinda messed up masochist huuh doc?~…. Bet you like those scars." she said with a shrug making the man give a brief grimace.

Before the guards left they slowly attached remote droppers on the restraints, going out behind the safety of the heavy training rooms doors as the assistant joined the doctor in the viewing room. With a soft click the restraints dropped piece by piece from the females body, ankles and face mask dropped first before her shoulder and hand restraints finally clanked to the floor leaving an eerie silence in the up until now dimly lit large room.

With a sudden bright flash of lights the room become an almost blinding white briefly, stinging her eyes as she squinted, raising a hand to shield them from it with a soft and bland faced grimace and soft, "Hmphf." before stretching out her limbs a little and rolling her shoulders back as she turned her neck to look over at the viewing booth before back at Blaise, "Look kid-…. it ain't nothing perfect- but lets see what ya can do, been a while since they let me out after all" she said in a calm voice, slowly approaching forwards with a step before suddenly a lunge forwards almost faster than anyone couldpredict left her grasping his cheeks between her right hand, staring into his eyes with her own red ones.

"I'll try not to break you- so don't go easy or we'll both get messed up afterwards, me- I don't care but you, you're-…. breakable." she whispered quieter than even the attached mics of the room could pick up, gaining an angry fist slam from an outside guard.

Leaping backwards she stood in a relaxed position, slightly pointed canines on full display from the clearly forced grin on her face.

JeaneWhen Jeane reached the bottom of the ladder she turned to witness Alieel pounce on the fish. She looked just like a cat and it made Jeane's heart soar. "Look at you, eating! Aww, you must be so hungry! Remind me to write down the fish species so I can add it to the list of things you like."

As ever, Jeane seemed completely unphased by the savage way Alieel gobbled up the fish. The way her jaw could unhinge was simply fascinating! Powerful too, as she could tell by the crunching bones of the fish. Truly she was a unique and wonderful specimen! Jeane let out a whimsical sigh. She was so lucky that she got to work with her. And now that she was temporarily removed from Kasai's team... she could spend a lot more time with her!

She knelt down to pick up her tablet, clicking her tongue at the small crack in the top right corner. Oh well. She had three before, she can always get another one. She turned it around in her hand, looking for any other visible damage but stopped when Alieel starting licking her hand.

Jeane laughed and lightly pinched Alieel's chubby cheek. "Ah, you really did like that type of fish. You know I think it was salmon. They like cold water, did you know? They travel from the ocean all the way up streams just to lay eggs." With her thumb she wiped away a stray spot of blood at the corner of Alieel's mouth, as if it were merely babyfood. She smiled. "You can have some more if you want! Or we can go to the cafeteria. Vleer will be there! And Holden, and all of your other friends!"

Alieel listened to the woman's words with wide eyes full of curiosity, or at least that's what it looked liked- though really it was just her normal blankly watching expression. However something seemed to catch her attention- sniffing the air a few times, "… E-Ewgg…." she repeated, as though actually having noted some of Jeane's random babbling for once.

As the blood spot was wiped she licked the woman's finger again, letting out a happy purr as she went onto all fours to climb over to the door, as though suddenly remembering she was crawling too low to reach for the very least a normal door handle this time, she stood up, tail wrapping around the circle device however lacking the correct technique to oven, growling and baring teeth as the metal began to warp and scrunch under her tails immense strength and pressure. They really did have to teach her how to use a door.

I’m sorry old friend....
Blaise stood by idly while the restraints began in clipping from his friend one by one. The more metal that fell, the more he could finally see his old friend in the flesh rather than bondage. Finally, standing before him was a much older looking version of the little child he once knew all those years ago. It was a cause for an aching in his heart, to see her as someone recognizable yet so very different. His friend was in there somewhere, but he knew damn well all he’d be able to find for now is the bruised and abused soul that was created as a byproduct of the torment they’ve been forced to endure here. Yet, he still trusted. This was evident by his unflinching self at Kasai’s sudden lunge toward him, and stares straight into her burning iris’.

There was a pause as she jumped back, giving him time to sign to her. But just as he was about to move his hands, he stopped. His arms returned to his sides and his face grew solemn. There wasn’t a thing he could say now to help or improve the situation, they’d both been drug so far into hell it was only inevitable that something like this was to happen. Blaise didn’t want to hurt her, but he knew she would easily try to hurt him given her greater risk, no matter how breakable he was.

“Subjects ready yourselves!”

Blaise took a deep breath, letting the engine in his throat roar in a deep and guttural way as the gaps in the plating could be seen glowing with the flames inside. His arms stretched outward, followed by his body then transitioning powerfully into one of the many fighting stances he’d learned to use. Clenching his fists, he readied his mind for what was about to happen.

“Engage!”

Blaise was surprisingly the first one off his feet, gliding forward with an stream of fire behind him before his jumped high in the air and kicking his foot down to unleash a lengthwise burst of flame. However given the angle, the ones viewing this battle would see a full front attack, while Kasai would be able to notice the flames off centered course of destruction that would just barely graze her shoulder if she didn’t move. Blaise followed up with more billowing attacks similar to this, with subtle attempts to avoid hurting Kasai, all the while tying to prevent himself from being locked in a freezer after this.

It was the best he could do after all. They were monitoring the strength and intensity of their flames to a T, so he couldn’t even slightly lower the temperature without them knowing. Given how fast Kasai was, he really didn’t need to help her, but he still did despite her warning from earlier. The fighting spirit of a monster she might’ve seen years ago, had seemingly vanished.

Battle of the Pyros:

// #00001 - Kasai //

Kasai stood firm in her ground as Blaise leapt forwards, feet firmly digging to the ground as arms blocked the flame burst, eyes shifting however in a brief flick at it's direction, he's not-…. argh, yeesh!? she thought with a hiss and lip grimace. ".. pathetic".

she whispered under her breath, continuing the block and a casual evasive manoeuvre when needed before suddenly a glow began to shower from her hands, palms reddened and glowing like molten liquid as she raised a hand at his next attack, walking straight into the blaze of flames with a hand held, her own burst competing with his in a back and forth slipping movement as she approached, eyes glowing red lightly.

"I don't appreciate…. you taking this easy on me- kid" she muttered through grit teeth, slamming an arm into his face, hard, even if not sending him sliding left it would've left a nasty bruising mark.

The assistant smirked, "excellent is it not? her strength compared to his- their powers both against one another, different heats and fire rates yet- magnificent!" he chuckled, once again adjusting his glasses with a middle finger delicate push, raising arms outwards, "Imagine what the power they hold combined could achieve! Blasts that could melt through solid barriers of metal with ease, explosions capable of taking down troops, such- such beauty~" he mused.

Suddenly the speakers in the room blasted to life with something that caught Kasai off guard, eyebrow twitching in shock, "What the- Music!? What do you idiots think this fricken is!" she yelled, turning to look at the glass shielding.

Jeane
Jeane walked up behind Alieel, giving a chuckle at her frustrations. "Alieel, that's not how you open a door, silly! Here, allow me to demonstrate!"

Genly removing Alieel's tail out of the way, Jeane rotated the doorknob until there was a soft click. She pulled the door open and motioned to it. "See? It's really easy once you get the hang of it."

She then closed the door again and pushed her glasses further up the bridge of her nose. A smile spread across her face, a curious light flickering in her eyes. This was a perfect opportunity to do a test! She looked down at Alieel with a welcoming smile. "Here, give it a try! You can do it!" She motioned at the door. "Remember, gentle twist! Try using your hands this time!"

Did she think she could do it? Totally! Was it a bad idea? Possibly! But that didn't matter, it was all for science!

Don’t force my hand...
Despite the jeering and excitement from his assistant, Dr. White seemed to look on with a disgruntled look. Something was annoying him but he had yet to voice his thoughts, or say anything for that matter. His eyebrows were simply furrowed, and he was vigorously scratching on of the marks on his right arm causing it to bleed.

The blow to the jaw rocked Blaise’s vision for a moment, but he stood firmly in place not having moved in the slightest. His head straightened it look at her with an annoyed gaze before latching onto the back of her neck and driving his knee into her stomach which sent the two of them in Kasai’s backwards direction. Blaise then planted his feet during their flight, still having kept ahold of his fellow pyro, and drove his right fist upwards into her jaw. As she went upwards, Blaise unleashed a barrage of flame attacks that were aimed where her hands to could reach and block them. The two physical blows were the only attacks Blaise had seriously made an attempt to land, purely out of spite for the bruise on his right cheek. And as a taste for things to come.

Once the two had regained their composure, Blaise was staring Kasai down with a look that read “don’t make me do this.” he knew full well she’d still come at him with every amount of vigor and fight in her spirit no matter how much he talked. But he still Made the attempt as opposed to giving up on her.

As the blood trickle down Jonathan’s right arm, he clenched his own fist and slammed it into the control panel as he eyed the battle. Lurching from his chair, he watched ever closely to see all of the finer details transporting just to make sure he knew what was going on before making any actions.

OLIVE LEWIS

━━━━━━❦━━━━━━

They didn’t do anything to her. Ana was okay. Olive’s body relaxed. She didn’t know what she’d do if they were hurting her.

Lying.

The concept of Ana lying to her was a foreign one, or maybe just one she allowed herself to think didn’t exist. She ignored illusions.

Olive nodded in agreement, her eyes zoning in on the new girl. She was never one to verbally question the things around her, even though she had an unquenchable curiosity. She didn’t ask why she was ripped from her mother’s arms or why she could bend what others saw and felt. She never asked why she was kept in this cold home of hers with a dozen of kids or why her eyes were “wrong”. But there was a feeling in her stomach, a feeling that even her illusions were silent about — as if they knew what was going on but chose to keep it a secret — and it bubbled up her throat until finally making it out her mouth.

“This doesn’t feel right.” Olive blurted to Ana. “Everything is...” Her eyebrows furrowed, struggling to find the right English word. Como se dice Cambiando? “Changing. It’s just... I don’t know. Things don’t seem fine.”

She felt the chair shift and glanced over, seeing Boris sit beside her. “Late as usual,” she gave a half smile. “Where’s your Roomie?” Did he get sent back to Block F? she thought about asking, but figured it would be rude.

Although Olive still didn’t completely trust Blaise, she couldn’t help but be worried for him. Was he being hurt right now? Hidden somewhere behind closed doors where no one could hear? Is that why he always looked so terrified?

She briefly remembered his outburst of tears yesterday.

She had so many questions. So many she wanted to shout to the Men in White, demanding answers. But she’d be a fool to think they’d actually respond.

So, Olive decided, tonight she would figure things out for herself. After all, she knew where they kept their files. But she didn’t know how she’d get in without a keycard.

Bad idea.

Yeah. She agreed.

She nudged Boris with her elbow then gestured her head towards the new girl. “Look—

Jeane's innocent attempt at teaching Alieel to use a door was all well and good- at least until the girl reached forwards and literally flopped onto the floor with a loud gurgle in a moaning tone. At first two hallway guards rushing over to help before blinking at the girls stubborn expression and puffed out cheeks giggling awkwardly from under their visors as they let out a sigh, the girl was simply being stubborn about not wanting to put effort into learning how to open the door right now for whatever reason.

Alieel was one of those people- things, where she either gave something 0.5% or 95% it was rare she fell in between in her own interest and efforts, though still being early the primarily semi-nocturnal girl was not in the mood. "Urrrgh" she muttered.

// #00001 - Kasai //

Kasai's distraction gave the perfect breakthrough for Blaise to strike, a blow the girl would've normally easily caught grabbed her by the neck and lodged a hard knee cap into her lower abdomen, for a brief moment the wind blown from her lungs as a cough escaped her lips. The next punch upwards slipped past her fingers from the distraction, pale and chipped tips of her nails scraping gently beside his own smooth skin as they fell to a retracted stance at the hit.

Stumbling backwards she started with slit eyes as the barrage of flame attacks came powering towers her direction, scooting sideways with a quick leg movement she rushed forwards with a spark in her eyes not previously there, the assistant scientist smirking, "Excellent~…." left his pursed lies in curiosity, unaware of his fellow Doctor's current erratic behaviour, or more so choosing to ignore it for his own reasons.

Lurching forwards a sudden roundhouse kick slammed into Blaise's side, shooting him skidding to the side, followed by a loud yell as her palms once again began to glow with molten ember like colour, a sudden burst released of chaotic flames, not controlled like his own but vicious and sharp, going straight towards him and hitting directly on, the look in her eyes however had already faded short after its beginning and as though a sudden flicker, her holding back gaze soon flickered to a dull gaze, loosing vision as it blurred and she fell to the side.

A moment later a trickle of blood leaving her mouth with a stuttering gasp, pupils retracting and eyes wide as she grasped at her stomach, the assistant doctorpanicking and slamming on the holt test button, music stopping and a siren shooting off briefly, "Both members stand down immediately! that is an order!" he spoke in a firm and for the rare occasion slightly panicked tone.

"I hadn't estimated the effect the healing would impact on her own body from the foetus's needs…. it seems her body breaks down itself to focus onto her- or maybe imply the reconstruction of another organic matter inside herself would be damaging her insides, it would be hard to tell without further experiments, we must do more. Many, many more~…." his at first worried tone trailed off into a sadistic lighter one.

"That's all for today. both are to be allowed cafeteria time after Doctor White's examinations and statement, provided there is one?~" he mused with a raised brow and usual cocky grin at the higher authority figure besides himself after the guard mic line had been dropped.

"W-Wh-at- f-fuuuuu*c-" Kasai's eyes continued to tremble lightly at the pain, she'd felt things before…. so much she was numb- but this- why did…. this burn!?

When I said I wanted a break, I didn’t mean this...
Blaise raised his arms forward tightly in a last ditch attempt to block the chaotic flames erupting from Kasai’s hands. But it was all for nought. The power was too intense, and after the flames began burning at his skin, it eventually shot him backwards and sent him tumbling to the ground behind him. As soon as he touched down with the ground, a crack erupted from his tumbling body before it finally did lie still on the ground. Something didn’t feel right, that much he could already tell. After attempting to move and get up from the ground, he found that putting pressure on his left ankle proved to be impossible. It felt like daggers were jamming at his joint, making it obvious that he had sprained it. So, until he could gather himself and fight through the pain, he sat on the ground after being relieved to hear that the fight had ended.

He wasn’t sure the reason, but was soon answered by Kasai lying on the ground clutching her stomach. Something was definitely wrong with her, but he had no idea what. All in all though, he thought it best to keep just distance.

Dr. White shook his head before muttering something under his breath. Straightening his tie, he turned to leave.

“I have no further queries or tests. Let them leave. That little bastard was holding back the entire fight almost! At a cost of control over him we’ve lost his fighting spirit! A fucking shame! I’ll need some time to rectify that soon. Excuse the subjects and come with me my dear assistant. We have a new project to work on.” With that said, the doctor left the room and headed for his lab.

After it was announced that the subjects could leave the testing chamber, Blaise did his best to stand up only to tumble back to the ground. It was useless and he knew he needed help. A short while later, two guards came into the testing chamber and helped him up from the ground. The help didn’t last long though, as one they were out of the confines of the chamber, they threw the pyro against the wall outside and left him to hobble his way back to his room. The good news was that he’d actually have the wall to help him this time. Grimacing with pain, Blaise began hopping and grasping the wall as he made his way back to his room.

Much to his delight, Boris wasn’t there at the room, meaning he wouldn’t have to explain himself just yet. So Blaise quickly stripped off his workout clothes and hopped to the shower where he quickly got in and had to pump hot water in him. The heat felt great, breathing some new life into his extremely sore, aching, and bruised body. Upon analyzing his arms, he saw that there was a new string of fresh burn marking in addition to the pattern already etched into his right arm from his days in cell F. With all of the injuries totaled up, Blaise concluded that he looked like a fucking crudely used test dummy. But even dummies were allowed time to rest.

After cleaning himself up with some soap and rinsing off, the pyro then quickly dried off and put on some new clothes for the day. A pair of grey shorts, a red t-shirt, black socks, and black and white chucks. It was only after he had finished dressing that he felt his stomach roar with hunger, introducing its mock explanation of a whales mating call. Patting his abdomen, Blaise figured it best to head to the cafeteria and eat something. No matter how much he wanted to avoid everyone else, especially in the state he was in now. Knowing full well that people would be down there and he’d have to say something, he grabbed the board and headed out.

Another hobble down the halls took him back to that same cafeteria from the previous day, with the memories of all that had transpired flashing through his mind as he hopped through the doors. A brief look around allowed him to find the group of somewhat friendly faces, and he opted to sit next to them instead of alone. Firstly, he sat his board and marker down on the floor without so much as a smile of acknowledgement to them all. Second, he hopped straight to the food line and grabbed a tray of what was being served that morning. Over cooked scrambled eggs, a pre frozen sausage patty, a fruit bowl, and a small carton of milk. Last, he finally sat down, and got straight to eating. His eyes all the while avoiding contact with any of them.

JeaneWhen Alieel flopped over like a cat being dragged on a leash Jeane started laughing until she snorted. She gave a little 'eep' of embarrassment then pushed up her glasses. "Alieel!" she said in mock anger, placing her hands on her hips.

Of course, she knew she wasn't going to get anywhere with it, as Alieel was not in the mood, so she was forced to surrender. "Ah, okay you don't have to!" She said, kneeling down to give the girl a boop on the snoot. "How can I say no to that face~?"

While the other scientists -- for good reason -- would say this was 'enabling' Jeane didn't care. Like they knew how to treat their experiments!? At least hers was in one piece for more than half the time! Why did they have to act like they knew it all? She had pHDs too!

"Come on Alieel! Your friends are waiting for you in the cafeteria...err... new cafeteria!" Jeane said cheerfully, getting up to the lead the way to the makeshift cafeteria. Unless, of course, Alieel didn't get up on her own. In which case Jeane would grab her by her waist like a lazy cat and start dragging her in the direction.

“Changing. It’s just... I don’t know. Things don’t seem fine.”

Ana nodded her head slowly. "No, you're right. Even my tests are different. Something is definitely going on behind all this tinted glass." she let out a tired sigh. "But as to what, I don't know..."

The unknown worried her and any use of imagination pointed to it being a dark omen. What was happening to herself was of little concern, but as for Boris and Olive she didn't know how to keep them safe. Knowledge was her only means, and now even that was being muddied by this sudden stroke of uncertainty.

The glumness of her thoughts was lifted somewhat by a shimmer of bright, lazy looking light. Boris sat down across from her and asked if his roommate was off 'taking a dump'. Ana couldn't help but smile and shake her head in amusement. To this day she still couldn't understand how he remained so humorous in this hell.

"Come to think of it, I haven't seen the F kid all morning," she said, tilting her head to the side. "I figured you scared him off."

Ana knew he wanted to befriend the Blaise, even if she wished he didn't. If Kasai was anything to judge the new boy would be no more than a savage dog, but unlike the pyro, this one had been trained to sit. No matter how calm he looked, Ana knew he was a danger to those she cared about. If only Boris could see that, but then again he was never one to be cautious.

Almost like magic, Blaise appeared in the door to the cafeteria. "Speak of the devil..." Ana muttered, watching him hobble to the food line. She frowned at what she could only guess to be a sprained or broken ankle. Not that the staff particularly cared either way. It...brought back bad memories. For a moment Ana forgot about how little she trusted the new kid. It didn't matter how much she didn't like him, he was the lesser of two evils.

Calm down, he must have been in a test. It made her wonder once more what his 'gift' was. She eyed him again. He definitely was programmed for combat, something she could guess by the muscle on him. Then again, that was obvious for any F subject. When he sat down with the group she took a look at his arms, seeing the burn marks snaking up his pale skin. Fresh. His head was tilted down as he ate his food with such intensity you'd swear it would jump away if his stare faltered. Avoiding eye contact and conversation. Still, Ana caught a glimpse of red-purple growing around his nose. No, he couldn't have fought Kasai? The only way he could is if he were somewhat of an equal in powers and strength. Could he be another pyro? She and Olive had similar powers, and Boris also had a counterpart. Not to mention his name was Blaise. Doesn't that seem a little on the nose?

She didn't know what was stronger, her worriment at this discovery, or how impressed she was that someone could hold their own against Kasai. Of course, she couldn't confirm it, but something told her it was right. Could they really break someone that destructive? They had been trying with Kasai for years and it never worked. She kept snarling, but this one only whimpered.

Ana glanced at Boris and Olive, then back to their silent newcomer. "Hey." she said, trying to draw his attention. "You alright?" Even if she didn't particularly like him, it was the right thing to do.

Rose Okami (#00192)|They Call Her Wolf
large.jpg

Scratching, growling, biting - those are 3 primary sounds that can be heard from one of the cells in level D. This was one of the longest dwelling subjects around - having supposedly been there since birth. Code-named 'Wolf' among the facility, her name is Rose Okami. Today, however, there were no sounds of her usual doings from inside that cell. She would instead seeming to be preparing to wander on out. For safety reasons, relating to her power she has, she grabbed a blindfold hanging from a hook in her cell and put it on before aimlessly clawing to the door. She pushed her cell door open through her currently blind and blocked eyes, went through it, blindly closed it, and tried to use touch alone to try and get to the cafeteria and looking just as aimless as one would think - though, that outfit kinda paints a different expression, now doesn't it.

She would eventually wander on into the cafeteria she had been trying to reach, and stumbled over one of the vacant seats, landing on her face and dazed. She would shortly lift up her blindfold to see the damage done. Not a lot - just a bump and a minor - oh, that's blood. Rose's eyes widened on sight of it - which shortly revert to normal as she realises her own. See, her power is that upon sight of blood, she will grow a bit more... wild... over 3 hours. Too much exposure? She goes berserk. She leapt back in fear, landing on the seat she tripped over, and immediately put the blindfold back on.
"Well Rose, you did it again. You did it again. At least it was your own blood..." She tells herself in a downed tone before sighing. "Whatever will people think of me now if they saw that...? They'll be worried for me, come closer, only to realise that if more happens like that again, they will no longer be... here..." She added on,slowly growing softer and quieter in her tone until she finished, at which case she'd eat the food conveniently placed before her without another word, and the end result was like the food was never there.

"The tests are over" A guard yelled firmly at the crumpled heap on the ground still clutching at her stomach, a clear annoyed tone in his voice as he approached the eperiment, a grave mistake it soon came clear as she rushed upwards and grabbed him by the collar, pupils retracting to slits as she punched with a risen back arm so hard the audible crack of a broken nose could be heard faintly echoing throughout the room as he stumbled backwards, screaming in agony as other guards rushed forwards retraining the girl who still had blood trickling from her mouth, heavily panting.

Shoving the face mask on and multiple cuffs quickly, struggling all the way through and shoving against him as they pushed her forwards causing another wave of pain to shoot over her stomach making her fall quickly to the floor as they dragged her outwards. The assistant gave Dr white a smirk watching the restraint procedure before leaving soon after.

"Food time ya' freak-" One muttered as he tugged her along before throwing her outside the cafeteria door, a slam could be heard softly from the inside as she staggered up to the front before regaining computer, eyes slit an observing as she walked in slowly, "Neutralisers again- they think I don't fricken not ice them shoving a needle into my back when they drag me out here?…. Getting weaker on em too…. they fricken know, that's why my 'break' is shorter, huuh?" she muttered to herself, almost tinstinctevly seeming to censor her language more now in the presence of younger experiments, however she had to admit social time two days in a row, not too mention in the same week was odd, did it have to do with that- thing? gregr…. Argh!? Whatever it was called.

You got used to muttering to yourself after being in her situation after all- alone, for so long, though- #C422 used to hum…. The thought caught her off guard, furrowing brows as she went forwards trying to focus on other things- like, food or somethin' she didn't really know after all that just happened.

Spotting Blaise she briefly froze, giving what looked like a firm glare before turning away slightly, sitting in that group, "Must be nice to have ya know… people around or somethin' like that." she let out with a small sigh under her breath, a part of her felt jealous, but what did that matter? to them all she was just- a monster. It was then she suddenly glanced back, that one, the girl was there from yesterday…. Her name, what was it again? Fricken- Jana? She'd come in later, she was like- smart right? the term the doctor used, she couldn't work it out but maybe, just maybe that smart aleck would have a guess.

"Hey kiddo, mind me kidnapping you for two seconds before the guards come punch me in the jaw?…. yeah, not gonna work like that." She let out, having been completely unaware of her near constant glaring at the group from the short distance this entire thought trail of a time. "Well here goes fricken' anything~" she muttered as she apporchaed, she'd never actually asked for anything before, in fact the thought was so foreign the girl herself was struggling in a semi bashful manner internally- however sadly on the outside it came off as an entirely different aura of menace and anger.

"Come with me right now." she let out in a vicious tone, snickering as she kicked the back of the chair the girl was on lightly, glaring harder as she waited for a second before loosing patience and with a huff turning and walking out towards the corridor.

Alieel let herself be tugged down the hall by Jeane with a sort of grumpy cat expression on her face, letting out small 'hmphfs' noises every now and then at a particularly hard tug by the scientist as guards watched on for the first few moment in brief confusion, hesitantly one of the larger and more muscular men stepped forwards, his visor letting out a sigh from his lips as he waited for what was to come, as though on cue Alieel's eyes widened and she leapt onto his chest happily, tail wrapping quickly around restricting over body movement as her tongue whipped out licking all over the oddly scented suit to her senses, a wide almost smirk like blank expression as she sniffed him all over and tail tip poked at his many suit gadgets.

Stumbling back a little despite bracing himself he let out an awkward chuckle and sigh as he nodded to Jeane and began walking to the cafeteria, feeling thankful for the strange experiments light weight lest he'd probably have lost all feeling from his face and below. Arriving he struggled briefly against the girl trying to shove her off as she growled and barred teeth viciously, scampering around to his back almost in a shoulder ride fashion and clinging on, "Uhem. M-Miss? Would you mind getting your- thing, off me?" he muttered in a deep tone, a radio click being heard, now evident he'd been instructed to help out by someone behind the video cameras, Alieel continuing to look stubborn as she wrapped her arms firmly around his visor, staring at Jeane like an innocent child wanting to keep a toy from a store they picked up.

Miracle Bellgrave (Subject #00204)

Miracle sat on the floor of her holding cell, doodling some drawings into the blank side of a map with a blunt pencil she had found. The floor of the power-nullifying cell was stacked with countless number of paper maps. Miracle had nothing else to do in her cell apart from studying maps the scientists threw at her for her tests or reading a book she had been given two years ago that she read over and over again.

Miracle sighed. She wasn't allowed outside her holding cell often even if it was for her daily tests or a meal. Miracle had tried to escape so many times that she can only go out with at least like a trio of guards following her. Her recent escape incident just happened two days ago. Assuming from the number of footsteps outside her holding cell, Miracle can assume it is morning since so many guards are awake and patrolling.

Miracle silently waited on her bed for the guards to bring her to the Cafeteria. She could only hope that one of the guards wasn't the one that she kicked in the shin last week. That guard had been to the worst, in Miracle's opinion. Miracle looked at the door impatiently, swearing that she would haunt the place if the guards left her to starve in this small room. The air conditioning vent is apparently playing some part in the nullifying process for the holding cell, so it was strangely comfortable for Miracle.

Suddenly, Miracle heard a click at her holding cell's door lock. Miracle hopped off her small hard mattress of a bed and went towards the door. When she exited her cell, Miracle was relieved that the three guards there were unrecognisable. As one guard locked the door, the other two walked on either sides of Miracle, making sure that she couldn't escape using her ability. Miracle rolled her eyes, slightly amused at the fact that the guards took so many precautions for a little kid.

Going through the familiar twists and turns in the hallway, Miracle approached the Cafeteria. As she walked closer, a guard grabbed her by the shoulder, jerking her backwards. " What was that for ?! " Miracle hissed at the guard, testing if her ankles weren't sprained. The guard clamped a metal bracelet on Miracle right wrist. " An extra precaution." The guard told her, " Try and escape, you'll burn your wrist off. " Miracle bit back a snarky comeback and dragged herself into the Cafeteria. The place wasn't crowded, just a few groups of subjects here and there. After taking her food, Miracle walked around to see if there was a table she can sit at. Even though the food looked like it was made from artifical powders and water, it was still better than nothing.

Miracle then spotted a familiar figure at a table. She had saw the girl in Block D before walking outside the holding cells. ( BoltBeam BoltBeam ) Walking towards the blindfolded girl, Miracle sat down beside her. " Hey, how's life treating you on this hellish day..? " Miracle asked the girl awkwardly, deciding she had to say something.

Rose Okami (#00192)|Panic 'Who Is There'
large.jpg

Rose gasped at the sudden sharpness of Mirage's voice, like 'oh god someone is here'. "It's... not bad... I guess..." She said passively, taking a pause in her eating to respond and spitting out a few rough parts she couldn't digest. She let out a minor hiccup before deciding to respond a bit more. "Who is it, what are you, and what the heck do you want?" She asked, sounding confused and worried. Of course she's confused and worried - she can't see, that's why the blindfold is there. It's a blessing and a curse - keeps her out of danger/trouble, but doesn't let her see others, only hear/feel. She tired to feel around for Mirage nearby and soon ended up laying a hand on her shoulder.

Rose patted it twice to even make sure if they stayed there.
"Mmm... Well, I found you... I don't recall your stench, though... Must not have smelt something this bad yet..." Rose said bluntly and curiously, saying Mirage not only smelt bad, but that Rose was curious as to who she actually was. She shortly retracted her arm, seeming worried of a retaliation. Below the blindfold, Rose's gaze remained peaceful, yet still a bit startled from her fall and Mirage's sudden presence. Rose remained silent and nervous for the worst - of course, this is her first full-on encounter with Mirage, never seen her because of the blindfold, and as she said, never felt or smelt her either.

JeaneAs always, Jeane laughed at Alieel's affectionate, yet rather annoying attack on the guard. Even if his voice was low and growly, it just seemed to make her laugh even more. It never got old.

"Aww, it's only because she likes you so much!"
Jeane said, interlacing her fingers and smiling brightly. She explained further. "You probably have a really good smell or taste! That's a good thing! See, look how protective she is! Aww, isn't she the cutest~?"

A surprised, yet expression passed over her face when she was 'booped', going a little cross-eyed as she stared at the slimy finger touching her nose.

The booper has become the booped.

It was almost tickly, and the cool slime was rather nice. She suddenly wondered if Vleer-slime would make a good facial? Oh probably! Yes, yes... removing dead skin and excess oils. But if they ate too much, hmm... maybe not.

"Good morning, Vleer~! Ah, yes, Alieel still thinks they are pillows!" She giggled.

When Vleer brought up a "test" Jeane blinked, tilting her head in confusion. "Huh? Test thingy? Whatever do you mean? What test?"

Alieel let out a snuffly before a sneeze as Vleer booped her on the nose, leaning forwards and extending her tongue in an attempt to lick its newfound close friend again, quite used to the action after all of Jeane's antics with it was this reaching out and shift in balance that lead her just enough off the partially fall and the guard time to slip out and scoot a good metre away as Alieel barely caught herself on her tail, in an overly impressive athletic manoeuvre she sprung up on her hands and curled her tail onto the ceiling hanging upside down with her 'hair' falling lengthways right in between the scientist and experiments faces with close proximity.

Turning to look at Vleer as it spoke her eyes lit up with a shine, turning back to Jeane and extending her arms quickly upwards- downwards? in excitement, "F-Fwoob!" she yelled out stretching mouth wide and revealing razor blade teeth once more, seemingly remembering too as though sporadic that the female had mentioned them eating lots today in a 'test' well, wether she knew that or simply saw people in the cafeteria could be up for debate, but either way it was good timing and a firm reminder.

After asking Blaise the question, Ana became aware of a blot of red standing off to the side of her vision. She knew who it was even before she spared a glance that way -- Kasai was painfully easy to spot -- but the way that she was standing still was enough to make Ana take a second, closer look.

If Kasai had been hurt in the maybe-fight with Blaise, she didn't show any signs. The girl was glaring at them, which was nothing new, but what did interest Ana was how long she was standing there without a snarl of some kind. It was so unlike her. Most of the time she would just shout out whatever she wanted to say, or intimidate one of the subjects by getting in their face before either storming off or being dragged away. Today was different. She looked like she was actually thinking about what to say rather than going with whatever sour thoughts boiled to the top of her head. She didn't even seem to notice Ana staring at her yet, which really meant she was looking inward.

Now there's a rare sight... Ana thought, flicking her gaze away before Kasai caught on.

She pretended not to notice Kasai's approach until she was quite close, to which she turned her head and created a perfectly nervous smile. "Kasai? Can I h-" Her sentence was cut off when she was jarred by a sudden kick to her chair. So predictable.

"Come with me right now."

Ana held onto her chair for balance, looking down with a what looked like a shocked expression. She was quiet for a moment, then looked back up at Kasai. To her friends, Olive and Boris, she motioned with a hand to tell them that she had this under control and to stand down.

"Yes, of course." Ana responded to Kasai's demand in a rather diplomatic tone. Staying cool and calm was the best way to counter her heated assaults, and before long Kasai stalked off towards one of the exits.

With a soft sigh, Ana got to her feet and dusted off her skirt. "I'll be back." she said to the others, giving them an even look before adding an extra reassurance. "Really, I know how to survive Kasai by now..." She gave a soft laugh that ended in a sobering half-sigh. "Ollie, Borya, take care of Blaise in the meantime..." With that she walked off, trailing after Kasai out into the corridor. She was reluctant to leave Boris and Olive with the broken F subject but she had no choice.

Once outside she was alone with Kasai, dubbed the most dangerous member of the facility, and yet she didn't really feel afraid. Should she? No, the body language of the girl was not aggressive, at least not to her. That could change within an instant, but like any good snake charmer, Ana would keep an eye on her.

Ana casually crossed her arms, "What's up?" she asked.

Miracle Bellgrave (Subject #00204)

Miracle flinched at Rose's sudden touch. She wasn't used to physical contact anymore, most likely because all the physical contact she was getting are kicks, punches, and other unpleasant things. Miracle decided to answer Rose's question. " My name is Miracle, Subject #00204. You can call me Mira. I just wanted to greet a fellow Block D subject. " Miracle replied. She would've reached out and given a handshake, but then realised that Rose was blindfolded.

Miracle then fell silent. She wasn't in the mood for more talking after that one jerk of a guard just placed a metal bracelet on her, threatening to burn off her wrist if she tried something funny. Miracle silently ate her food with her free hand, not minding that the food tasted of flour and strange substances.

After finishing her food, Miracle decided to test her hand at the metal bracelet. Miracle was pretty sure the guard just wanted to scare her, so she took her chances and decided to try and escape while the guards aren't paying close attention.

Pooling her concentration, Miracle pictured her home in her mind. As she tries to crack open a portal, the metal bracelet began to heat up. Rushing herself, Miracle quickly opened a decent portal in a corner further away from the guards and ran towards it. With her wrist burning, Miracle struggled to keep the portal open. It flickered dangerously, definitely not so safe to go through.

The guards from earlier began sprinting towards her, yelling commands into their radios. At that point of time, she already lost hold of the portal due to the pain and the portal vanished. Silently cursing, Miracle looked over her shoulder. Surely enough, the three guards were approaching her.

Letting her concentration fade, the bracelet cooled down slowly. Lowering her injured wrist, Miracle gave a sign of surrender. She wasn't elated at the fact she was going to be more strictly monitored, but they weren't killing her anytime soon, hopefully. Miracle was pretty sure she was just going to be shoved back to her cell for the rest of the month, so she prepared for that.

Suddenly, Miracle noticed that a guard appeared behind her. Before she could react, Miracle felt a hard hit at the base of her neck. She fell forwards onto the cold, hard floor. Miracle couldn't think straight, all she felt was pain. Then, everything in her mind felt like it was shutting down. When Miracle tried to pick herself up, all she saw was darkness.

"My name is Miracle, Subject #00204. You can call me Mira. I just wanted to greet a fellow Block D subject."
Rose nodded in understanding when she'd heard that. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Mira. I'm Rose - Subject #00192. I'm sorry, but I don't think I've ever seen or heard you before - I rarely see the light in the block or my own cell, especially when I leave it..." She said, pointing to her blindfold she had on. It was there for a very obvious reason, of course, but just wanted to make sure Mira was aware of it.
Rose heard the thud on Miracle, then the collapse onto the floor. She shook all over, knowing something had happened, but was too scared to take a look to see what had actually happened. She tried to feel around, only to find Miracle was on the ground. She held her breath as to not freak out, tried to compose herself, finished her food, then left and tried to guide herself back to her cell. It was that 'I am not dealing with this' reaction.
