Fantasy [Private] El Stories

With the boost of power, the group easily pushed back the demons from making any attempts towards the back where Ash and Dust were busy having a battle and Cornelius managed to use the remains of his strength to drag and push Athena to safety. Xavier can feel the ground below them going weak, spotted a couple of demons losing their balance as the earth shifted around. They look alarmed as the field suddenly became unsteady and made several attempts to fall back yet the dragons kept them at bay. The demon army was completely trapped where they are, the weight of the cannons cause them to first collapse into the ground and several demons falling in after losing their footing.

There was a frightening sound of the earth cracking up, the vines finally were in place as they tied up to squeeze and pull the earth apart. The demons shouted in fear as the ground started to gave away, ignoring the group as they try to focus on escaping the area. Aragorn and Octavia were right on top of them, Octavia creating a wall of ice to stop them from escaping and Aragorn breathing out flames to fill in the cracks, causing multiple of fire geysers to burn away any demons who tried to step over. Though the dragons kept their eyes on the humans, ready to dive them and pick them up. Aisha was first, she nearly fell into a hole until Octavia swooped in to snatch her up to safety. Aragorn flew in to grab Phantom with his good hand, ignoring the surprised yell from the strange man as he flew higher up away from the ground.

As for Xavier, he was left on the field. The portal was still an issue and he wasn't sure if the collapse of the earth will travel further up to destroy the portal itself. He went ahead to travel towards the portal, jumping on demons to gain the higher ground and leaving behind a flare to burn. The fresh smell of earth was rather refreshing to him and the screams of the demons were music to his ears. He made quick work to travel forward, the earth crumbling faster for each passing second. Eventually, he channeled his energy at his feet and rocketed out towards the ledge that was formed. Xavier's claws hooked onto the ledge, digging deeper as he needs to climb on. Yet he took a moment to look back. The whole army was gone now in the deep crater, the vines starting to move in and letting out acid like fluids to melt away on whats left over before retreating back.

Xavier climbed on top of the ledge, letting out a sigh of relief. He was right about the collapse not reaching far to the portal yet it looks like someone tried to close the portal from letting any more soldiers coming through. From the looks of it, he needed the help.

"Precision Flare!" Xavier's gauntlets began to burn hot and he aimed towards the enemies as they were closing in on the lone man. The enemies were starting to burn down, withering away from the powerful, hot flames that were shooting out from Xavier's hands. Xavier focused on the portal then, shifting the horizontal flames at the doorway to destroy it for good. The mark on his shoulder was hurting him more than before yet Xavier gritted his teeth as he did his best to ignore it.

Meanwhile, Cornelius was at a safe place, focusing to heal Athena's injury of her wing. He managed to stop the bleeding and felt at ease that her heart was still beating. He perked up at the noise of the earth crumbling loudly and let out a small sigh, his single eye looking up at the sky momentarily as he recalled a battle from long ago.

Even shackled, he pushed the light chains with vigor, yet he was unaware that from breaches from his armor started to shed droplets of blood. The seal was affected and this time it didn't burn as much as before, but to be that faded, meant that the only remembrance of his helper, the one that cast it in the first place before Karis betrayed her, was slowly being removed from his body. He didn't want that.

Until the day, if that day ever came, that he saw her to ask for his release and let the rebellion in his to finally be unleashed. To grasp the world of gods and strike them down, robbing their power and set things right once and for all.

"As if it can control me!" He replied back with some spite in his words, showing him that he has control over it.

"Commander!!" Various cries alarmed him as he looked to the left and saw how many of his comrades were engulfed with vines, being melted slowly and painfully.

"No... No!! I'm coming!" He screamed as he pushed his body to the side with the power from before aiding him. The chains that bounded him screeched before being shattered, his shackles still enveloped around his wrists and feet. "Out of my way!!" Heavily striking the earth with his footsteps, he rammed against his enemy stabbed both chains from his own arsenal through crimson colossus hands, making him stuck temporarily on the ground while he rushed towards the fissure that his new soldiers where.

"Commander, please! Hurry!" They pleaded for him, their screams being filled with anguish.

He cocked his hand backwards, ready to throw a chain to help them climb up their death pit.

Lara
The priestess was walking near the Nasod foundry, looking for the number of machines that were there. It's number had been increasing almost exponentially since the last time she had come here. She knew that Rena and the rest of people around her would eventually come here, probably to look for a way to keep that white-haired engineer focused on something else than, well, his insanity. She had never been too close with him in other dimensions and maybe he was a completely different person in this world. In fact, she had never been close with the El search Party and she only helped them when their goals were common, just like she was about to do now. She only had to wait until they came, and hope that a certain Knight wouldn't die. She could briefly connect with his mind and although he was in great pain, he was still standing. She didn't want to intervene personally, not when she knew what Rena would ask her for if she knew who was most likely fighting in Feita.
"Colour me impressed, I never would've guessed you would become this selfless, Soul Priestess."
Lara glanced at the man to her right, she knew that the god of darkness would follow her more closely day by day until she encountered Ishmael. She didn't knew how the god wished her to deal with the goddess, but Lara had a hunch that Henir hadn't come to destroy her yet.
"What a surprise, Henir. I guess what they say about Altera and your world is true."
"Of course it is, if it wasn't, it wouldn't be the cradle of Nasod technology."
Lara scoffed. "It's rare for you to come personally to chat with me. Did Ishmael and you talked it out like the good grown-up gods you are?"
The god put a hand over her shoulder and made the corrosive energy Lara had sealed away turn against her before answering to her question in a menacing voice.
"I'm sure you know about Unification, Luto must've had some useful information about it. I just came to give you a friendly warning."
Lara frowned in pain and the god lifted his hand soon after. Then, he vanished through a portal. Lara's skin was left with burning marks that deformed her face and limbs. She focused her own power to her surroundings and absorbed enough mana from the ground, the few rusty Nasods around her and the rare birds that flew over her to heal herself. All living things had turned into black sand and the Nasods had disintegrated into a silver dust. She punched the ten kilometre radius of black sand around her and realized she had come here in vain. She got up and shook off her dress the sand that had dirtied it before walking back to the Inn.

Lento
His power had maintained stable thanks to his ability to absorb the mana of his opponents, but now the golems were marching over the corpses of cockatigles and some armoured riders. Many had marched on beyond the circle of purple mist but twenty riders less would make a difference. The necromancers had closed the circle once more, making his movements and chances to evade hits less effective. He had to take the risk of losing some of his mana or else he wouldn't be able to deal with the reinforcements. His only advantage was that the space between the portal and the cloud of mana poison was also a restrained space that prevented archers to shoot properly without injuring their own men within the portal or beyond the misty barrier. Lento expanded the reach of his field, frowning as the mist invaded his field and entered his lungs, cutting his breaths into shorter ones as the poison made his chest feel on fire each breath he took in. His suffering was still worth it, as he realized that only five necromancers were beyond the cloud of death. He shrunk his field to its normal reach, and although his vision was getting blurry, he still had the power to finish off the five mages. His pupils dilated as his he felt his heart pound faster against his chest. Adrenaline put his focus on the fight at hand as his mana field began to purify the poison he had absorbed. The mist slowly faded away and the green enhancement to his weapon vanished away with it. His pupils dilated, rendering the moonlight more intense to his eyes, enough to clearly see three glitter assassins sneak beyond the gate. Lento, under the trance of combat that pumped the blood in his veins, leaped behind the cloud of poison and took in the chilling and humid air of his home town and held it in as he touched the ground again, cracking it. The assassins were dashing towards him to feed their poisoned blades with his blood. Before they hit him, he vanished and his image seemed to multiply itself as the necromancers fell one by one, their thick black blood slipped through the cracks and spread to the confused assassins who tightened their formation to diminish their blind spots. They had never seen any human fight like this since the Dark water priestess had escaped. As Lento killed off the mages, he absorbed back most of his lost mana yet again and, now that he had more terrain to maneuver, he had created himself an advantage, but had also given the reinforcements the only disadvantages they had. He looked around him and saw the tight formation of assassins spread once more into the darkest shadows where his heightened vision nor his field could. Then, a thousand green light arrows whistled through the cold night wind and disintegrated once they reached Lento's mana field, increasing its power. The golems advanced to fight him while the remaining forces continued their way outside of his field's reach. He increased the range so that only half of the troops could reach their destination. He breathed out now that he was certain that any remains of the dangerous clouds of poison had completely vanished.
"85 demons out of a squadron of 200. It's hard to believe these are the only forces sent to deal with five dragons, considering that the rest of the humans have dealt with troops like these rather quickly...something is off."

Lento had succeeded to form rays of energy that could wipe most of the golems that were slowly walking towards him. He began to focus his mana on the palm of his right hand while still holding his claymore tightly with his left one. The necromancers inside the portal stepped out into his city behind the golems, heavily armoured defenders, dashers armed with war hammers, spearmen and archers. Assassins began to make their way into his blindspots, near the boundaries of his expanded mana field. The necromancers' wands shone while the remaining defenders and spearmen advanced in a tight position. The archers formed their mana arrows and the cords of their bows taut as they took aim. Lento had almost finished to charge his own attack that would put their perfect formation to shame, this advantage made him smirk. Out of the blue, a shockwave split the ground that they stood on and knocked everyone to the ground. Lento, after the initial stun his head's contact with the irregular ground caused, found his vision partially covered by blood as a glitter pounder leapt above him, ready to crush his skull with its war hammer. Lento rolled around just in time and took advantage of the hammer's shockwave to get up and form once more the magical blade that had previously covered his weapon to cut the glitter's weapon, since the glitter seemed to be covered in a heavy armour he knew he couldn't get through yet. His opponent, however, had also good reflexes and passed quickly his hammer to his other hand before swinging it towards Feita's knight. A wisp of light elevated in the air and swiftly passed through him, spreading through his body an electric shock that immobilized him for the precious seconds that could've allowed him to evade the glitter's gigantic hammer. He had only the time to close his eyes and move his arms in a defensive posture over his face before it hit him with full force in the gut, cutting his breath and sending him flying along the stone golems in the hammer's path. The stone puppets were instantly reduced to smaller rocks as the hammer's head grazed them. The rubble came flying towards Lento at an alarming speed. He widened his eyes in fear as tried to evade most of those projectiles mid-air, his sloppy movements managed to keep the bigger rocks land directly on the ground but a couple of smaller them hit him, destroying his arms, breaking his left wrist, forcing him to drop his weapon, before changing their course or piercing his flesh as badly as arrows fired with crossbows. The knight groaned in pain as his fall was stopped over a pillar, cracking it as his back landed over it. The hit almost left him unconscious, the electrifying pain was a parasite that ate away his mind and left him looking towards the sky, towards the fading and unclear moonlight above. He blinked and clenched his teeth, he had to stay awake for his town's sake. He wouldn't forgive himself if he let his limitations be the reason to his town's destruction. Slowly but surely, his vision got back to normal and above him, he saw the head of one last golem fly in slow motion towards him. He tried to move, but his left hand was busted and his right arm was shaking in slow motion.

"I need to move, that thing is going to kill me. Shit! Why am I moving so god damn slowly?! FUCK! MOVE! I NEE-"

Lento's thoughts were turned into nothingness as the heavy head landed on his stomach. Lento's eyes widened in pain, tearing up, and he coughed out a mouthful of his own blood as his tears streamed down his face. He felt his ribs crushed by the head's impact and a warm droplet of blood was propelled to his cheek. Its touch was that of a solid fragment that slightly scratched him; his ribs. His sword had landed ten steps in front of him and had lost its magical enhancement once it left his hands. Lento's breathing got heavier; it was a weak wheeze to the glitter who sent him flying. It wondered how he could be still breathing. Lento felt increasingly weak as the troops the shockwave had knocked down slowly got up and formed a circle around the humongous glitter warrior that had put him in this predicament. Lento didn't have the courage to glance down to see just how badly he had been injured, but even if he tried to ignore it, through the corner of his eyes, he could no longer see his chest, only the stone edges of the head and he felt a warm liquid damp his clothes through his lower back. He focused a part of his barrier's power to heal himself, but knowing the demon's swiftness, he only took a small part of it, enough to regenerate his arms back. With his ever-trembling hands, he slowly took the golem's head. It was all gooey, making it hard for him to find a solid grip over it. Once his trembling fingers could solidly grasp the sides of the head. He closed his eyes and began to lift the heavy boulder, closing his eyes as the cold air brought an unbearable stinging to his whole torso. Lento felt the muscles of his face distort themselves with the pain that came along with it. His jaws opened to let out the suffering that his last effort to put the bloodied head to his right, where it rolled for a few centimetres, leaving a thick trail of blood behind before forming a small puddle of it. Lento still felt weak and it was only thanks to his claymore's wooden scabbard, which he used as a cane, that he could get up, coughing more blood as he felt something detach itself from his wound and fall over the ground. He painfully knelt down to pick his weapon once more and faced the army that was repeating in unison the same lip movements while hitting their weapons together as a way of taunting him.

Feita's knight focused to get whatever mana he could get from the dead knights and cockatigles until a stronger force suddenly stopped his magic. Necromancers.

"I will need to bring more of them down to heal this nasty wound..."

Despite being cut short, the small quantity he had gathered was enough to assuage part of his pain and allowed him to dash at an incredible speed, dashing behind a group of unarmored necromancers and sipping away their vital mana before another wisp made its way towards him, forcing him to fall back from the remaining necromancers. The wisp danced graciously in the air before dividing itself in two, then another appeared and did the same before a third one and a fourth one also divided themselves. In the blink of an eye, the eight wisps dove through the air to hit him. To make things harder, some glitter defenders charged with their shields to knock him down and the giant glitter that had put him out of combat had leapt once again towards the sky to crush him completely. Lento had only one way to defend himself, he dropped his sword, shrank the size of his shield and, because of this, the concentrated mana crystallized into a barrier that absorbed the wisps of light and knocked back the defenders by five metres. Lento turned his gaze towards the glitter's weapon that was falling down with even more momentum than before towards his shield. Lento put his hands up and poured his own mana into it to strengthen his barrier for the impact. He felt his heels break the ground as sparks flew once the demon's weapon clashed with his only defence. Lento took advantage of the glitter's ignorance of his powers to slowly begin to crack the head of the hammer with highly concentrated mana. When the glitter realized that the intense white glow was breaking its weapon, it was too late; steel fragments spread around it and went straight for the parts of its skin that weren't covered by its heavy armour. The lower parts of his upper arms, close to the elbow, had now several shards of metal piercing them and made it instantly drop the handle of its destructed weapon.

"Good, I hit the nerves."

Lento lowered his arms and the little wisps had incredibly strong mana for their size and he spread out his mana field once more, burning some of the glitters unprotected faces while melting the glitter shields and armour over them, putting to a long and horrible agony. Lento couldn't hold the ever-expanding field for much longer so he transformed it into a pillar of white light that lit up the night sky before fading away as he fell to his knees completely exhausted. His wounds were slowly closing but it had only been made possible by disabling his only way of detecting any attacks beyond what his eyes saw. He was vulnerable to any attack from behind him, until his stamina completely recovered. His haired turned back to its natural ebony colour and the sclera of his right eye lost its violet colour to return to its normal shade. Lento held himself with his blade, but didn't have the strength to get up like before. The burning sensation that spread through his whole body due to the head's impact had finally overcome his adrenaline.

"This...If they don't kill me now, I...have to get this treated, as soon as possible..."

The portal leading to the demon realm slowly began to close itself as another portal appeared to its left. The black-haired half-elf appeared from it and formed a multi-layered magic circle to close completely the gate leading to the demon realm. She looked at him and at the destruction he had brought to the eighty-five glitter force.

"Looks like you're handling yourself in combat pretty well, Lento. Des...pite. that-Oh god, that's -Ahem- a horrible. flesh.wound."
"A flesh wound?! I almost got killed."
"I know, which is the reason why I'm here."
"How considerate of you to take some of your precious time off to watch me die."
Lara frowned slightly before continuing in her usual detached voice:
"I should warn you about one last thing before you continue facing the demon forces: beware of Dust and Ran. Both are demon commanders and one of them is already here. They're beyond the level of the statue of steel you made out of Assaulter Crash and all armoured glitters in this place. And before you ask, yes, the glitter with the huge war hammer was Assaulter Crash."

Lara formed a warm dome of light as she mumbled something and Lento felt his strength return to him and his wounds completely close. He briefly saw the veins of her right arm begin to palpitate. The dome's light increased and the next thing he saw was a trail of blood on the ground. It was then that he understood why she had brought him back as a Lost Soul in the first place.

He got up and the dome disappeared. Lara sighed and looked at him; her green eyes were shrouding themselves with a hint of shame.

"This is the reason why many choose a side, Lento."
"You've only got one mission in your mind. You don't need to take a side and neither do I."
"I see."
Lara smiled weakly before opening a gate towards Lunæ Lumen and disappeared from his sight. Her arm didn't look hurt but there was now a small circle of black sand where Lara once stood to heal him.

The priestess had returned to her lonely room in Altera while the knight marched towards the south, determined to finish off the 115 soldiers that had gone around his field. It would certainly be easier this time around, considering that he would be closer to the others who were fighting off the demon menace.

Ash
The anger he felt running through him spiked, "Don't you-" the voice in Ash's head tried to stop him from making the choice he was gonna make. Raising his hand Ash looked down at the battlefield, "Anaklisi." Casting a powerful spell Ash pulled in Xavier and his dragons as well as Dust and his demons into another dimension, it was his world, the vast green fields where were Ash dropped Dust and his demons, Cai Er and Ash where there waiting for Dust.

"Welcome Commander, my name is Cai Er, I'm from the Sourcream clan in the demon realm." She said as she bowed her head. Ash stood next to her as he walked towards Dust, "Heal." Ash casted a rune spell around the demon army healing the wounded who remained alive. "Control yourself boy, I need to speak with you on a professional level, which is why I brought you here. Where the person who put that seal on you can hear or feel your presence." Ash said as he fluttered his wings.

On the other side, Xavier and his dragons landed near a village that was occupied by elves, demons and humans. There Ain was waiting in front of Xavier.
"Finally your here Xavier, my names Ain, my father has requested me to help you with you little dragon problem..Also, while you are here please refrain from fighting, my father requested if you coukd kindly control your anger and relax." Ain said as he casted a massive rune on the ground releasing a light that helped the wounded dragons recover, "This will take a while but please bare with me." He said.

Before Dusts and Xaviers landing.

"You plan on bringing them here? Father is that alright?" Cai Er said as she fired off arrows at a tree, "This place is the only location I know that Ishmael or any other energy can interfere with what I want to do..I've seen what Dust seeks, our methods of getting there may be different but a discussion between us can be done, if it goes down to a fight we can settle it out in the plaines." Ash said as he placed the marker for there arrival. "And the dragon boy? Why bring him here?" Ain asked, Ash looked at Ain sighing. "He's an old companion, his kind was injured so I'll want you to help them recover from those mortal wounds, use that fancy rewinding you do son." Ash asked, he knew Ain could recover what the dragons had lost, of course it would tske a while but at least the could fly and walk again. "Yes father, at least this is more helpful than mothers crazy plots on people she dislikes." Ain said.

One second, Xavier was enjoying the view of the demons screaming in agony. The next thing he knows, he was staring at Ain. It took him awhile to react, his aura shiftly slightly as the atmosphere changed for him. He can hear the dragons behind him shout in surprise, a few of them toppling over since the two were airborne with Phantom and Aisha. The two if them fell off the dragons in surprise, confused on what’s going on.

“W...what’s this?” Xavier said out loud, surprised. He turn his head to see the dragons, tired and weak. The sight of their injuries managed to boil him up as he whip his head around the area. The fact that he was in unfamiliar area made him nervous and angry. “Where are we?” He snapped demandingly. The tattoo still burns for him, making Xavier irritated at the pain.

None of the dragons said anything but they were very wary and tried to get up where they were, Aragorn growling low in defense as Cornelius leered over at Ain. Yet the dragons couldn’t help but to take a couple steps back at the aura Xavier was giving off. They haven’t seen him like this before.

Ain
Ain looked at Xavier as he kept healing the dragons who werent mortally wounded, "Father wanted your help but I sense a madness from you, you won't see what's really at stake here even if it was explained to you. Brother comeforth, I think this party should be escorted out." Ain had a sad expression on his face, he knew his father was trying to figure out a way to help Xavier and his dragons recover from there wounds but Ain sensed a dangerous creature inside Xavier.

Soon the Pegasus Orion arrived,
"Seems you weren't worth it boy." Orion said as he kicked the ground a rune appearing under Xaviers teams feet, "At least the dragons recovered there strength thanks to Ainchase." Orion said, soon there bodies where gone.

Ash
Telepathically Ash recieved word about Xavier and sighed,
"He had potential." Ash thought to himself. He brushed it off knowing that time was short and Ash couldn't ponder on one teenage brat losing focus, "Do not worry Theos, the boy will recover, stronger from this, your paths may not align now but, he'll become someone worthy of being called a hero to the people." The voice said.

Phantom only focused on the fact that he wasn't on the ground anymore. The priest felt his skin go clammy as he struggled in Aragorn's grasp after giving off an embarrassing screech from the dragon snatching him up. Momentarily, Phantom was too enraptured by the fiery display of the battlefield as the ground seemed to cave in on itself. The priest felt his respect for Ivy grew tenfold at what she could do on the battlefield, but then Aragorn moved the priest about and Phantom downright whimpered.

His skin was cold and Phantom stopped struggling, figuring that him moving around in Aragon's hand would 1) make it easier for Phantom to plunge to his death, 2) did not affect the dragon at all, and 3) only made Phantom's heart feel like it was about to burst because his struggling only made him hyper-aware of the fact that his feet were touching open air. So the nomad resorted to whimpering and trying to breathe while his lungs felt like Aragorn had grasped them and was squeezing the air out, and the priest had his mouth clenched shut as nausea punched him in the gut.

When Aragorn dropped Phantom, Phantom released a high-pitched, shrill screech and after landing on the secure ground (albeit not a smooth landing at all and keeping his staff from snapping in half), Phantom got on his hands and knees and dry-heaved for a moment before bowing his face into the grass as the naked feeling started to disappear, warming his skin up a bit as Xiopetec's source of her magic started to envelop her loyal follower with its soothing presence. Aisha and Xavier could hear muffled noises, whether the priest was crying or laughing or both, they couldn't tell but Phantom was visibly trembling and he wasn't going to be getting up from the ground for a while.

Now that they were back to Feita, Xavier closed his eyes for a moment. His breathing was unsteady and his heart rate was fast. The energy inside of him was starting to stabilize, his aura slowly fading out and the pain of the tattoo eased out. Komodo reappeared beside him once the power link was over, chirping at his trainer to see if he was alright. Xavier ignored the small dragon to see how the others were doing.

The dragons got their energy back yet nothing could possibly give Athena her two back wings back or Cornelius' missing ones. Yet they were low spirited, they were rather happy to be all together. Aisha and Phantom were alright too, though Phantom was paling out from the intensity of the battle as Aisha was busy checking out the landscape. Everyone was okay.

Xavier let out a shaky breath, ready to thank the mage since she helped them out but suddenly his mind shifted slightly. The scene before him changed and within a couple of seconds, he was somewhere else. A different area in which he did not recognize yet the soft blue lights that seem to surround made him feel calm. Safe.

"Hello, Xavier."

Xavier turn his head around to see a soft blue light that seems to resonate out a woman's voice.

"...Who are you?"

"I am Ismael, the Goddess of El. You must have heard of me, yes?"
The light spoke to him.

Xavier stared at the light, surprised. He nodded his head and slightly tensed up when a heavy breath blew behind him.

"Ismael of this dimension, you look different than I expected."

Xavier turn around to see Perkisas, the dragon staring down with an intense gaze. He was surprised to see him out and almost want to say if Perkisas was free. Yet there was a red line of aura connecting between the two, causing Xavier to bite his tongue from saying anything.

"Nice to see you, Perkisas. I have been watching you two carefully ever since you showed up in this dimension, Xavier."

"Really?" Xavier quirked up an eyebrow, staring at the light harder.

"Yes, and I feel like I choose the right time to approach you two, at last. You probably have so many questions..."

Xavier blinked a couple of times and he looks back at Perkisas. The dragon glanced back at the boy, his fierce gaze seems to dissolve into a look of realization. The dragon chuckled as he glows red to shift forms.
"My, so I was right about the boy's energy," Perkisas chuckled, the light fading off of him as he was in his human form. Xavier didn't know Perkisas could do that.

"W-what's this about? What energy?"

"Xavier."
Ismael started to say. "Think back about the el shards. You always end up having a desire for the energy, always want to protect it. Don't you ever think why? You have a potential that was lost years ago in this dimension but as you came from somewhere different, this power was inherited from your parents. Xavier, your ancestors were very special, gifted children who were able to harness the power of the El. Perkisas came from the Ellian Kingdom and it was made possible for him to resonate with you. I have no knowledge how his spirit was transferred over to you, but it may be because of the dimension travel, forcing his large energy to squeeze inside of you. Yet your energy is faint, only made possible for Perkisas to see it as he is part of you. Perhaps because you're not in your rightful dimension...but I can help you unlock that energy of yours. I wish to make you an offer."

Xavier carefully listened to what Ismael said to him, and suddenly it clicked for him. Yet Ismael stopped talking as a small el shard was thrown at him to catch. He caught it, staring at the gem in slight confused until he began to hear the whispers of the energy shard. Perkisas behind him watched the two careful, his eyes narrowed slightly yet not saying a word, especially in front of his creator. Eventually, Xavier look back at the blue light, having an unsure look.

"I'm...not sure if I can do that," Xavier spoke.

"So you understand the El?"

"It's very quiet...but yes. Though your offer is...something I wish to think about. Or put on hold," Xavier mumbled, fumbling with the shard.

"I see..." For a second, Xavier thought he detected disappointment from Ismael yet it quickly went away. "I'll leave the offer open. I at least wish to improve your connections with the El. Just to show you how much potential you have stored inside of you," she said as Xavier felt a growing energy inside of him. "Perkisas...I wish you well in trying to retrieve your memories from your dimension."

"Heh, it will help if you help me but I rather not have my soul to have tampered with," Perkisas sighed, shrugging his shoulders.

The light stayed quiet a minute longer before it started to fade away. "I'll see you soon...Protector."

Xavier was back where he once stand, blinking a couple of times. He looks behind him to see that Perkisas was gone but he can feel the dragon's energy back inside of him. He was back in Feita. He took note of two things: Phantom's strange noises and the look that Aisha was giving as if she was talking to him. Xavier blinks a couple of times before rubbing his eyes. He still had the el shard in his hand.

"Hello? You alright there, lizard boy?" Aisha asked, her voice was peeved.

"Sorry, sorry...what did you say?"

Aisha gave him an annoyed look as Xavier began to notice that they were at a village, the townspeople gathering up to stare at them and the dragons who were staring right back with cautious. There was a lot to talk about.

Ain appeared before Xavier and Aisha, "So..she really is aiming for you." Ain said as he looked at Xavier up and down. "I don't want to seem bias but don't listen to her, she's playing a game with all the races in elrios...Soon a great evil will arrive in this world. You must be ready to face it." Ain said holding a book up to Ain, "I grabbed this from the dimensional library, when the time comes it'll help you maybe find the answers to your questions, but you mqy get more quedtions than answers." Ain said tossing the blue glowing book at Xavier.

When Lento finally made it to back to the Shrine of Dedication, he was relieved to know that the demons were gone although the dragons were certainly badly hurt. He approached the scene but everyone seemed to ignore his presence. This felt weird to him, because he did exist. He was still alive and had helped them all get rid of part of the demon reinforcements.
"Lara, I-"
"Wh-why am I this...oh great, n-now you too! W-what do you need?"
Her voice resounded in his mind in between her sobs. A long silence followed it, Lento wanted to leave her some time to cry, she had gone through a lot. She seemed to calm down after some minutes and Lento sat away from the others, watching them tend to their wounds before the Priestess continued in a more controlled voice.
"Sorry about that, Lento. I...just thought about..."
Lento closed his eyes and looked up to the sky at the same time as the priestess turned her gaze towards her room's ceiling with tears still streaming down her face. He had an idea of what she might been crying over, and as a Knight he felt the obligation to console her. However, Feita's blacksmith had a feeling that any word coming from him would make it worse. He could never hope to say a "don't worry" after he had seen her so devastated back in her dimension. She, by his compassionate silence, found the strength to wipe her tears away and give to her voice part of her usual tone.
"You know what? That's not important right now. You had a question for me, didn't you? Tell me."
"You said that Lost Souls-"
"Dark Priests."
Lento opened his eyes and frowned at the starry sky where constellations gathered around the moon as the petals of a lily.
He let out a short sigh with a half feigned annoyance. Lara's voice was returning to normal. He thought it would be inconsiderate of him to ask her what he intended to before her first reply.

"Same thing. But back to the point, you said dark priests didn't need to sleep, how much time have you passed without sleeping?"
"What a weird question. I think that in this world I have passed the last four years without sleeping. In total, I'm not sure, the void makes you lose your sense of time and I can't recall exactly how much time I've passed in other dimensions."
"I see. I must say it's weird for me to feel wide awake when it is past midnight."
"Now that's interesting. A Knight leader that doesn't stay awake for the night watch."
"Not all Knights are travelling from one town to the next and need a night watch."
"True, that's certainly true...not all of them do."
Her cold voice got suddenly a hue of nostalgia and regret to it. Something Lento had never heard before.

"On another note, we won against the demons, Lara."
"That's great."
"Although, it is not a victory I would like to drink to. The life losses were very high in both camps. Which demon commander is an elf, Lara? Is it Dust or Ran?"
"The elf is Dust. Wait, don't tell me he-"
Lento looked towards the armoured elf who was crouching in defeat in front of hundreds of glitter corpses. Lento felt an ominous power elevate from his skin. That man was certainly dangerous.
"No, with that monstrous power of his, no way. He just looks...destroyed. His troops were killed off for the most part. He..." Lento stopped his comparison before it brought to him the consequences of the priestess' wrath. Lara seemed to still hold demons under a bad light. "He is also wounded. Almost as badly as I was before you healed me."
"What? Who did he fight against?"
"By the looks of things, my best guess is the Armoured human."
"Ash."
"You know him?"
Lara let out a sigh.
"Barely. He uses an armour of the gods and that's all I know about him besides that he treats everyone like he's their dad or something."
"So, he simply rubs you the wrong way."
"Of course, I'm... No way I'm saying my age in front of you."
Her voice had gotten livelier than before, and he realized that, despite suffering for countless years, the goodness inside of her didn't fade away. It was only covered by layers of emotional barriers so no one could hurt that fragile part of her anymore. Knowing that she had, for a moment, let those barriers down made him somewhat happy.

They continued to talk for an hour more before Lara cut off their link, smiling as she forced her thoughts to take once more her distanced tone.

Truly, Lento was very similar to his brother. Maybe it was because of their similarities that she had been able to loosen up more around him. Lara turned off the lights of her room and fell over her bed, she had momentarily forgotten what Henir had told her moments ago. She had also forgotten that it was with alliances that she had created some rays of happiness admist the ocean of despair she drowned in. Meanwhile, Lento saw a winged silhouette travel through the sky after putting into his hands what seemed to be a small orb of blue light.
"So that's Darhan..."
The silhouette went swiftly away through a blue gate and vanished from the sky as fast as he had come.

"Alright," he breathed and stood up from the bed. The inertia gained from the last few days of unconsciousness almost threw him off his balance, but he managed to stand upright and adjust to it. It took several seconds, after all. So his little group had gained a new ally. The new ally said she would explain her own identity later, which didn't trouble him. What troubled him now was that he didn't have much time left. According to the letter, if he used any of his Henir powers, he would face the consequences of being overwhelmed by it once more. It wouldn't be a pleasant sight.

"I'm sorry for worrying you all." He probably made his brother panic from his side effects. He walked around a bit, adjusting to the pain.

Xavier held the book in his hand, giving Ain a questionable stare. “...What’s your game here, Ain? And who’s your father?” He grumbled at the angel in confusion.

Aisha was surprised to see that Ain reappeared before them once again, yet not seeing any sort of threat from him. It only made her a bit uneasy.

Add quickly runs over to Carna and reprimands him for moving around right after he woke up. He sends a glare to Rain, trying to make her regret suggesting that they get moving as soon as possible, but the glare he gets right back frightens him more.

"So, where should we start?"

"I'm not sure exactly where we need to go, but I think the Nasod foundry is a good place. It's a bit of a walk, but that shouldn't be a problem."

Rena nods, trusting in her ally to lead the way. Rain's story weighs heavily in her heart, but parts of it seem very far-fetched. For example, she's supposed to develop a deep relationship with Raven and maybe fall in love with him. The elf hopes that Rain doesn't actively try to put them together, but she wouldn't mind being friends with him, seeing that he had lost everything.

Speaking of the devil, a low grunt and another shifting of sheets draws Rena's eyes to Raven, who has just woke up. He sees the group ready to leave, and he takes a few seconds to clear out his blurry vision.

"What did I miss?"

...
"Umm Rain? I've been wondering...can you fight in that?" She gestures to Rain's long and elegant dress, frowning at the thought of it getting ruined during a fight. Rain pouts indignantly, seemingly hurt by her question. Currently, they made some progress, traveling through Return Plains without much trouble.

"I'll have you know that I've defeated a demon commander and more in this. Besides, I tried wearing something else, but this dress is stuck to my body, and whenever I put something on top, it gets so soaked that I'm better off not wearing it."

She hears Rena let out a snicker, which only made the singer even more annoyed. "Curse you, Glave."

Add still watches her warily. Something about her seems off to him, and he does have several guesses as to why, but he rather hear it from her mouth. Rain gets along with Rena and Raven far more easily than a random stranger should, and that alarms him.

"How are you holding up, Carna?" Add whispers to his brother, his voice too soft for the others to hear.

A low clink, tap, tap alerts Rain, and preparing for battle, she summons several daggers behind her. Some of the Nasods, whose outer layer is tainted by some sort of moss, readies their drills at the group.
"So this is still an issue...might as well deal with it now."

"Be careful everyone. I'll go on ahead and be a distraction. Something's off about these Nasods."

He was now confused. In one moment he was about to send his chain to help his comrades and then he was transported into a new world. His wounds were slowly being healed, but the amount of damage that he suffered from both the suit of armor and his enemy were still imprinted on his being, yet despite that he rose up, the suit making him ignore the agonizing pain.

Looking around him, he doesn't recognize this place. Dust has been to many places, but this one seems... much more different. In his confused dazed, the demon said something about the Sourcream family which made him do a double take on her.

"C-commander..." One of his soldiers whimpered, catching his attention, he quickly rushed towards them. A lot of them had a few members melted, others had lost said members and few were living by a scrap of their life.

"Hang in there soldiers, I'm here." He answered to their call while his mask opened, revealing his wounds on his head, dripping with blood and sweat. His golden eyes going from soldier to soldier to give a small analyses on them. "All able hands, treat the wounded, use my share of blood beads if you must. Do not engage the enemy for now, be watchful and remain on the defense. Understood?"

"Y-yes sir!" The able bodied soldiers replied while taking his pouch of medical beads. Slowly one by one they started to tend the wounded. One of the soldiers extended their hand to him out of thanking him for his still kind heart. "Thank you..."

"Thank me when you're better, soldier. Until then, don't lose strength." He gripped his claw and gave incentive towards the wounded comrade. He turned to the two people from before with suspicious eyes, mainly to the female demon.

"You that claim to be of the Sourcream clan, you better have some good proof before flapping your gums. They were killed by Karis' faction." He warned her as he drew closer to them. "Show me the symbol of the clan, or I'll make sure you won't speak lies on their good name."

Cai Er
Cai Er that he would question her background so she raised her hand.
"Awaken...Altar of Evil." The seal of the Sourcream clan formed below Cai Er's feet as a blast of demonic energy consumed her body wrapping itself around her, her eyes became red as her pupils became cross like, The blue aura was consumed by the red becoming a fusion. Horns like those Lu had formed on her head covered in dark smoke, wings grew from her back fluttering in demonnic energy. "My mother was of Luciela's clan...while my father was of Aegirp's the clan that you got those soldiers from. Ash has decided to heal them in order to strengthen what he took from you, we meant no harm but, it was a rather unpredictable encounter." Cai Er said, Ash just kept to the side healing the entire remaining companies. "If you still have a problem with me after we sit down and talk I'll be up for it." Ash said channelling more power into the spell.

Ain

Ain rubbed his chin,
"That book holds secrets to helping adventures look what they can't find normally, it won't just reveal the answer but it'll help you achieve a..."Transcendent" state of mind. My game, there is no game, I just know that you will be a world changer for good or worse, my mother should have mentioned it, but she never mentioned which side you would be protecting now did she?" Ain said.

"..."

Xavier kept his mouth closed, staring down at the book longer. He recalls back the little whispers he heard from the el shard that was given to him. Whispers of promises and the duties that were passed down to him thanks to his ancestors. He wished he had more knowledge about then...it almost felt like he was given a job without giving a consent. The boy sighed, closing his eyes momentarily.

"I don't know what she exactly wants from me," Xavier grumbled. "...It's been a rather long day, all I want to do now is eat and sleep. Same goes for everyone else here," he said as he refers to Aisha, Phantom, and the dragons. "How about you run back to your fantasy world for the day? You probably have better things to do with your daddy rather than speaking with me," he scoffed.

Xavier wasn't sure why exactly he was being upset. Maybe because he was given choices and there was no way out of it without making someone butthurt. Maybe because he was just really tired and already wanted to stuff his face into a pillow. Maybe because of Perkisas. The dragon's main goal was to return back to their original dimension as soon as possible. Though from how things are going, they aren't going to be leaving that easily. It was upsetting, almost like doing chores for others without having the time to do one's self-goal. Xavier could easily deny everyone's wishes, going back as a lone wolf when he first left the dragons. Yet his mind says otherwise. A little voice always nagging him, "No, people are in need of help, you don't turn your back on others." It was getting harder every day to obey that little voice, especially now since the dragons' existences are let out.

His hands tightened around the book. "Good day to you, angel."

Xavier left Ain be as his first concern was on the team. Obviously, Aisha was fine. The shock about the dragons faded off and she rather has an interested gaze on the beasts. Phantom was...concerning Xavier but he checked the man for any injuries. There was none so he let him recover his mental state on his own. As for the dragons...it was hard to choke out some words of concerns.

Cornelius was in the worse shape out of the five. Xavier was just amazed how the dark dragon doesn't seem to look in pain, having his head held high to stare down at others like a true leader. His missing wings made Xavier upset, knowing that losing the ability to fly is the worst thing for the dragons. Especially for them, as it has been so long since they last stretched out their wings before the battle. Athena's condition was rather fine, yet flying may be difficult for her as she only has two wings left out of four. At the moment, Octavia was comforting her at the loss of her wings, convincing her that she can still fly with what she has. The water dragon was in best shape, only having a couple dull scratches and her scales chipped off. It wasn't an issue for her to recover. Aragorn was fine as well, Ain's healing fixed his arm and the fire dragon was busy keeping an eye on Ain. His protectiveness for others was incredible as his personality matches of a live volcano. As for Ivy...she was rather dull. Despite her energy recovered from Ain's healing, it didn't help to heal the forest around them. She doesn't seem to be moving at all except the vines that tries to feed her nutrients.

"Doing alright, Ivy?" Xavier asked the nature dragon, kneeling down to touch her snout. The dragon only breathing out heavily in response.

"What's wrong with her?" Aisha asked as she walks over to Xavier.

"Well...she's sick. She has been using the forest here to be her support since in the past she was badly injured in an accident battle. Back then, Ivy never really rely upon the nature's health to keep her healthy. Since the demons were merciless with the environment, she began to grow weak. I assume she used the last of her energy to help turn the tides," Xavier said gently, patting down the dull colored moss on her face.

"Imagine her at full strength. She can do a lot more than creating a crater,"
Aragorn spoke to them. "Things really changed a lot back then..."

"We need to find another suitable environment for her," Cornelius grumbled. "She is not going to last a week or days here now that she helped us at her weakened state."

"It...worked...didn't it?" Ivy snapped quietly.

"Still got some fire?" Aragorn joked lightly.

"This is...temporary. I'm sure...we can find a better place for me..." Ivy mumbled out.

Xavier sighed yet he lightly smiles at the green dragon's spirit. "Hang on a little more...we can find a good place for you," he promised, getting back on his feet. "I suppose we...can finally eat?" Nearly all the dragons perked up at the thought of food. For a group of dragons who been living off of demon's flesh...they are really in need to have a different plate. "Suppose you have something in store..?" Xavier asked Aisha, having a slightly sheepish smile.

Aisha blinks a couple of times before she nodded her head, a small smile on her face. "I'll see what I can do. Well...we'll see what we can do. You did give the soldiers of Feita a break from holding out to the demons, we can at least repay you back with food."

"Sweet. Phantom, quick moping around," Xavier said as he realized the man still haven't shaken off his frights from being in the air. Aragorn ended up laughing in amusement at Phantom.

Phantom sat up on his feet, glaring at Aragorn and then at Xavier. He was still a bit pale, but at least his trembling has calmed a bit. He rubbed his eyes.

"This is why I don't fucking fly," The priest snapped, "Never again. Not while I'm conscious."

Phantom stood up and snatched his staff. He looked over to Ivy and he felt his heart lurch a bit. But being a healer for so long, he knew that Ivy knows her condition better than anyone else so he trusted her word.

"Where are we gonna get the food? And do we have enough to feed all of us?" Phantom asked, gesturing his staff to include the dragons and Aisha.

Lara
Lara had woken up as the artificial lights of her room were turned on by one of inn's maids. The sudden change in light made her frown with her eyes closed before she opened them slowly, putting her left hand over her eyebrows to partially block the bleak white light above her.
"My apologies, pong. I thought you had already left, pong. A-are you ok, pong?" The maid asked.

It was true that sleeping was not part of her routine and the fact that the maid was already here to clean her room probably meant that she had slept through the whole morning. Her eyes were getting used to the light and she saw a purple mark cover her left index and thumb.
"I knew it..."

"Yes, this is just ink."
She said, sitting on the left side of her bed. The maid glanced at the priestess in disbelief, the woman's fingers looked covered in ecchymosis. The maid had never seen her use such a precious colour in her notes before. However, she hadn't seen her with those marks yesterday. The maid headed towards the desk, where an empty inkwell laid next to an old quill and a dry purple stain. Her initial doubts were cleared and she thought that the priestess used the colour of nobility in private. She probably feared it would be stolen otherwise. A single inkwell full of purple ink was probably worth more than the apothecary shop she held before the Nasods forced her people to hide underground. "Such a waste, even for an accident."

"What time is it?" The woman's voice startled her somewhat.
"Pong? The time? It is past noon, pong. If you're hungry, you'll have to take lunch, pong."

The maid turned around to inform her of the lunch menu and saw the priestess taking her usual black dress off, revealing a small turquoise tattoo in the shape of an eye over her right shoulder blade and scars of arrow wounds around her lower back, mainly on the lumbar, and two scars vicious slashes: one on her dorsal area, near what should be her pancreas, while the other deformed her left shoulder. "Those are serious. How is she still standing so naturally? The nerves leading to her legs should be severely damaged or downright destroyed. She doesn't seem to be using Nasod implants unlike Raven."

"Miss Priestess, if you feel ill, come see me in Amos' shop, pong."

Lara glanced to the ponggo maid that was cleaning the desk. and put on the tight pants she had bought in Bethma and finished to button her white long-sleeved shirt. "Thank you for your offer. I'll leave a small tip for you over the night table."

The sound of an armour being tightened up caught once again the maid's attention and she gave away to her curiosity the moment that iron steps began to hammer the wooden floor. The priestess had on a slim but sturdy armour and her back was covered with a blue cape with an old coat of arms embroidered on its centre. "Why would she wear the flag of an old nation? It makes her look like the spirit of those who fell in combat all those years ago."

Lara stepped down the main hall and headed towards Altera Plains.

"Hmm..." Dust hummed to himself looking at the demon. Yes, she has the symbol of miss Luciela's clan, but this was a first to hear that another clan had ties with her. Looking from side to side, he took her appearance and a feel of her demon energy.

"I see... So this is what happens when two different clans mix their blood. Maybe it's just me, but you look weaker than from either clan, even at your age. Perhaps you're just using the Sourcream's demonic energy to convince me, or you still haven't been able to draw the essence of both." He told her as he looked at the symbol below.

"For now, I'll believe that you're of the same clan, but if Luciela ever saw you, she'd be the judge of your testament." She looked at him with a hint of surprise.

"I have a problem, alright." He took a few steps forward and gave an empty punch straight at his face, making him skid three meters. "That was for you call me boy. The next punch will be for all the demons you killed on the Tree of El, those were from my squad, you can bet that I'm putting a lot more strength on that one." He took a few steps back and looked at them with seriousness in his golden eyes. "Whatever you want to talk, say it now."

He rubbed his face from the punches, "I don't know your affiliation with the ghosts but Cai Er being one herself had asked me to save those from velder, seeing as she wanted them saved I also saved your unit. The unit from velder was originally under Berthes command, they had yet to hear from there commander after he set out to the El tree." Ash returned to his human form, "You see Velder is tied off from the rest of the world, this past week while I was training Cai Er we visited Velder under the disguise of being demons, Cai Er proved to the demons she was of the Aegirp clan. So they followed us here." Ash waved Dust over as they reached the horizon, tents laid out all over as barracks were being built, "We brought over 500 troops, originally there was 800 but Chole some dark elf began to attack us with a demon I've never encountered." Ash said. Cai Er stepped forward. "We seek to overthrow Ishmael and the other gods that are using humans, elves and demons alike in there little game, if your goal is the same as ours why not work with us? What you see here is just part of the army we are forming of humans, elves and demons, currently we are trying to find contact with the water dragon tribe as well, but being as they are one of the El clans it'll be a while." Cai Er said.

Ash looked back at Dust,
"So that is what I offer...Ah also any assistance you need of course. If you so wish to deny my offer thrn so be it, I'll allow your soldiers to rest, time is much faster here than Elrios afterall." Ash said.

"Chloe... Hmm..." He thought to himself about it. "I've heard rumors about Joaquin making a few questionable experiments, maybe he finally snapped and made something new." He mumbled to himself as he paced back and forward with his hand on his chin.

"It isn't a bad deal, but this is an internal affair and being helped by a god is basically me slapping myself in the face with shame. We might have the same goal, but remember that he's still a god too and for a world without gods he needs to go as well, there are no exceptions." He wasn't going to make it easy for them, not by a long shot. His anger and will wouldn't be shaken from a simple act of mercy towards a couple hundred of demons.

"Until most part of the demon commanders have been eliminated, I can't carry my plan to make things right in their-... My world. I'm going to deny your proposition, after all, it's been more than 30 years that I've gathered my forces and got their trust by doing those menial tasks, even stretched my hand when I saved those people from Resiam...." He murmured to himself at the end.

Oblivio/Carna

"I'm doing better," he said. "I'll probably be fine if I get active."

The Nasods were splitting into strategic positions to attack the intruders. They seemed controlled by the moss growing on them and Carna deducted that the moss was a parasitic organism. It would be troubling if the organism gave them other abilities he wasn't aware of. Nonetheless, he would give them a hard time using them if he could. He wasn't completely sure about the physical condition of his body since he hadn't actually fought yet, but he would find out now.

As Rain went ahead to distract the Nasods, directing their attention elsewhere, he thought about what he could use against the Nasods. Honestly, a part of him wanted to disable the Nasods and research the parasitic connection between the organism and the host, but there wasn't time for that. He had his blade disappear momentarily and aimed his rifle at the Nasods.

"Panzerbrechend!" His rifle glowed blue before the bullets were changed. He pulled the trigger and bullets sprayed in a line, slamming into the Operator field to have their trajectory altered. The output field immediately spat out the bullets in the same fire rate as the rifle, shooting the bullets at the Nasods. Without standing a chance, the bullets pierced through the Nasod's metal casing and chewed holes in their inner system.

Ash
The amount of people that wanted Ash dead increased, he couldn't help but sigh.
"I'm nothing like the other gods of Elrios, I have no control over anything in that world because my god doesn't exist there, the only ability that I truly have left is adapting to this worlds war, as long as there is war my mind will learn all it's combat techniques and different technology." Ash said.

Cai Er looked back at Dust,
"I see there's no way to convince you-"

"What if at the end of all this I let you kill me after all the gods and demon commanders have been taken care of? Luciela had once offered me her life but from that she awoke her inner "Diabla", that led to Cai Er learning of her heritage. So, I'll offer you my life after this is all over, if you want." Ash said, Cai Er looked back at him stunned. Ash personally didn't want to die but controlling an army that was constantly growing with just Cai Er and Him wasn't going to help. Even with Luciela offering assistance on the Velder front Ash wanted to have another person he knows can lead an army.

"So once more, will you change the world for the better with us?"

When was the last time she had the freedom to move her body as she pleased? Without the weight of her other self splitting her body in half, Rain weaves through the hoards of Nasods freely, energetically. A jump to the left, a flip forward, a twirl that scraps her dress against the mossy skin of the machines. A drill thrusts to her chest, but she merely swings her body under it, her feet hovering an inch above the ground as she uses her hands to launch herself into a back flip. More Nasods rushes after her, pouncing over the woman in an attempt to block her mobility. She chuckles lightly as she springs up, bouncing on their heads until her form blocked the sun.

It was clear to those witnessing her that she was a seasoned fighter, one able to quickly close the distance of any opponent who dare face her.

And yet, she did not release a single attack.

"I cannot cause any more commotion than I already did. I can't let anyone know the true extent of my strength."

As much as she desires to instantly clear the waves of Nasods blocking her way, she restrains herself with great difficulty. It isn't the first time she's meant to be a decoy, but this...this is a challenge that she hasn't done before.

Rena is utterly confused. That battle style is nothing like she's seen before. Instead of the gentleness and grace she's come to associate with Rain, Rena finds herself mesmerized by the exotic, danger-defying body twists that the dancer naturally executes. She hears Raven shouting at her to engage the enemy, and snapping out of her amazement, the elf dashes forward, imbuing the power of wind into her feet. She throws sharps blades of energy at the line of Nasods, staggering them long enough for Raven to unleash a blazing crow that burned the machine's plating.

"Just who is this woman? It's like she's playing a game with them."

"That only comes with years and years of battle experience." What amazing coordination, she thinks. If only her body could move like that, to be able to connect from one move to the next...! Rena executes a successful series of flips that bashes her feet into the heads of the machines before catching them in a combo where they're pelted by impossibly fast kicks. They fall one by one to her furious attacks.

"What is this woman doing?! This isn't a playground! Attack them!" Add practically scolds her, trailing after them and picking off the Nasods that they miss. "Looks like we picked up someone useless...great!"

The god of war simply gives him the rite to kill him once everything is done?

"...You don't deserve the title of God of War, because in the end offering your life is the cowards way out. You're a warrior, for El's sake! We don't lay our lives for an agreement! We lay them for the people we wish to protect and serve the most. What you just said, made me lose what little respect I had for you."
He responded with venom on his tongue, he didn't liked one bit how that coward talked.

"I'll change the world by my hands only. Not with the help of a god that shouldn't be here in the first place. I don't need divine intervention from a being from another world, I forge my own allies with my own hands and when the gods of this world are finally dead, I'm coming for you.

And if no demon or ally stands by my side, then I'll head alone if I have to. I'll bear the burden that nobody asked for and leave behind the life I made, even if nobody weeps for me or remembers who I am or was to them.

This is what we warriors are about. To fight even if it's a bleak path, one where your death is assured, but also for a new beginning to others."
His speech was heard by his soldiers and those who wasn't his. The way that he carries on, even if it was to be alone with sacrifices, was enough to inspire them. To fight even if it's for a reason above them, without a reward at the end, with feats unknown to anyone but him.

"Go fight your war, I'm already making my own. But a word of advice, if you ever thought about making me a leader of a platoon, you might already know, but assigning people that know how to command and that have nerves enough to know that each soldier's life is in their hands, is enough to make a small one into a 100 men's worth.

Now let me and my soldiers leave this place, drop us right at the gates of Feita. I'm going to give them their last chance to surrender under my wing."
He demanded with his helmet closing on it's own and crossing his arms.
