For nearly three hundred years, the Aspen region has faced numerous wars and hardships brought on by two powerful kingdoms locked in a never-ending religious dispute. While surrounding nations learned to avoid these two kingdoms, a third domineering kingdom laid dormant, building up its own army and patiently waiting for the perfect time to strike. With another grueling century coming to a close, both nations lowered their weapons and opened their gates, allowing their people to come together and peacefully interact for one week. (As per agreement).
During this week of celebration, everyone set their cultural differences aside to share drinks, converse, laugh, dance, and have a jolly good time. The people and Pokémon were happy, the music was lively, the decorations were beautiful, and tourism was booming. Encouraged by the festive atmosphere, rumors began to spread that the two kingdoms were looking into drafting a peace treaty and putting an end to their unnecessary conflict once and for all. Unfortunately, before the nations could explore this possibility, their kingdoms were attacked by an unknown force.
With tensions at an all-time high, the two kingdoms called off the festivities, and a gruesome clash ensued between the three nations. Disturbed by a familiar presence, the God of War and the God of Wisdom (Two Legendary Pokémon that both nations vigorously worshipped) awoke from their eternal slumber, coming to the aid of their respective kingdoms. However, in a shocking turn of events, Aspen was left in a state of disarray when the third nation summoned a Legendary of its own; The Warped God.
Although the two deities seemed to recognize this horrific monstrosity, their combined efforts did nothing to stop it, and the God of War and the God of Wisdom fell in battle, their life-essence scattering all over Aspen. With their gods vanquished, the two kingdoms easily succumbed to the power of The Warped God, and the third nation began its conquest to take over Aspen. (And eventually the world).
Now, with one mighty kingdom struggling to fend off the Dark Forces and another left fragmented without a leader, hope seems to be diminishing for people and Pokémon alike. However, in one last desperate plea, flyers and letters were sent out all over Aspen, calling forth warriors to aid the great kingdom of Eddan.
For those who happened to stumble upon one of the flyers or letters, they read:
While this is a Pokémon/Fakémon Roleplay, Aspen will feature realistic and dark themes not explored in the traditional child friendly Pokémon setting. Viewer discretion is advised.
