The best 12 hours of Hubert's life was abruptly brought to a close as his hotel door swung open, immediately rousing him from his slumber. Jolted into a sitting position from the surprise, he could only manage a confused "whuh?" as Jayden explained his emergency and began rattling off questions faster than Hubert's mind could process. Roses? Chocolates? What instrument did he play? With a yawn, he simply sat in silence until Jayden was done, rubbing his eyes and smoothing his bedhead as best as he could until he regained enough sentience to speak.
"I don't think you need to do all that, to be honest..."
Sliding out of bed, Hubert grabbed a change of clothes from his bag and beelined for the bathroom, changing into a simple white tee and black casual joggers. Once he'd washed up as well, he roughly brushed his hair into its usual style and threw on a light jacket before meeting Jayden back in the living space.
"Have they even said they still want to meet up? Not that I was super into this idea in the first place, but it'd be rude to just assume this is happening no matter what."
