  Just like with Mat, Violet loves Derek! They may not spend all that much time together, but they're very close cabinmates; they even seem like full blooded siblings!   It was kind of an accident, but Elyse literally pulled her half-sister out of the shadows and into her life. Since then, they've been stuck together like glue. They fight pretty often, but that's mostly because Rex is always being overprotective of her... which is ironic, considering Lyse is the older one. Still, Elyse enjoys acting childish around her sister, and she loves her to death. Er... yeah. Not to mention: cookies.

  Maybe it was just her flirty nature, or maybe it's the fact that she's never quite sure what he's thinking, but Lyse fell for Mat without any warning or cause. They're closer than most of the Demeter siblings, which is saying a lot, since Tony is close with all his siblings. She's taken to calling him "Ant," which has caused Tony to try to find the perfect nickname for her... and it's not going well. But that's okay!   They are complete polar opposites, yet somehow they get along. How this happens, Ash isn't quite sure. Spencer makes the kind of jokes that jab at Ash, but they're all in good fun, and Ash knows it. He's fond of his brother, if only because he's the only one he shared Mat's arm design with. It's nice to know someone else can help him out with Mat's arm every now and again. Very nice.

  They don't really spend all that much time together, but Ash is convinced that he, Hani, and Spencer are the Three Musketeers of the Hephaestus Cabin. Maybe Hani isn't always around, but Ash likes the guy enough. They're brothers! So it was bound to happen.   Derek claims he's the leader of the Fuckboi Crew, but it was Ash who brought him and Zach into the fold. Without Ash, the Crew wouldn't even exist. Like him, Derek is very adept at flirting and breaking hearts, and they're naturally the coolest and sexiest guys at camp. He respects Derek's rule to keep his sister off-limits--it's just a natural rule of the bro code, bro! With Derek around, Ash always has some reassurance that he is indeed attractive.   Zach is more about "flexing," but he's still an invaluable member of the Fuckboi Crew. He's closer with Zach than Dare is, really, but Ash has definitely picked up on the vibes Zach gives off when a certain Demeter camper is around. It's adorable to watch, and Ash is into helping Zach win her over. Now if only he could get Zach to stop flexing so much...

  When Mat came to camp, and the Hephaestus cabin was called to make a prosthetic arm, Ash was the one who stepped up. It wasn't that no one else wanted to do it--they weren't sure if they could do it. But Ash knew he could, and indeed he did, making one of the best damn prosthetic arms in the world. Every now and again, he tunes it up and fixes it, and it's formed a strange friendship between him and Mat. He'd do pretty much anything for his friend, because if anyone deserves the world, it's his friend Mat. If only Mat could see that, too.
