NEW ACADEMY OPENS SMILING LIKE ALL MIGHT

mmd_hq_anime_like_front_gate_to_a_school_yard_by_saler1-d7vtl1f.png

Nearly in the "return to school season" and as it appears one might return to an unfamiliar school. Already endorsed by UA, in spite of having just finished construction, Peace Sign Academia (or PSA for short) is the result of the collaboration of several lesser-known heroes who teamed up to build this monument to the Symbol of Peace himself, All Might. In fact, the school itself was innitially called "Symbol of Peace Academia", but due to a small legal war with the agency´s marketing team, they settled for "Peace Sign Academia". Nevertheless the statue of All Might at the entrance seems to smile brightly at the future of this newbie academy.

"UA, and All Might are our rivals in a sense, but in another sense, they are our drive." Explains the director "If there is one thing I learned in UA is that learning from and growing with your rivals is an important thing for heroes. And I suppose, for everyone else too."

Zetsuen_13_11-300x168.jpg

"As I understand, there was no public support for this academy."

"Hehe, yes - the director laughs- We did lack funds, but luckily with UA´s patronage and the team we managed to assemble, we managed to create a nice place. We are nothing to UA´s scale though. We have a very simple exam, right now even a quirkless kid might pass. Of course, this means many of our students may not be able to pass the hero exams, so the students will also be prepared to be able to perform other activities with our internships, and we will earn funds by helping to fix damages to the city and other community assistance. It can also be quite the learning opportunity for the students, getting to see first hand the consequences of villany might help solidify them into the right path."

Down-to-earth, friendly teachers, the blessings of the best academy around, and a eager spirit to educate and help, this academy sure seems like a diamond in the rough. Let´s see what the year´s quirks brings them,

-Shoushan Shibun, for the "The UA Records"

3 days before, hero vs villain fight

  • Time: 11h44

Nomatter what world you live in, the return to school season is either a wave of excitement or the calm before the storm. This is the consensus among the students that are getting ready for the openings of their elementary schools, middle schools , high schools...and of course, those particularly special "hero academias". With a new one on the scene too, endorsed by the most famous of the academias, UA. This newbie, Peace Sign Academia, is in everyone´s eyes as they eagerly await, for in only three days, the academy will open it´s doors. Aspiring heroes gather round, praciticing their moves, getting hyped with their favorite idols or catchphrases, training, who knows what jewels some might come to be, and what dreams may instead be crushed by the hand of reality.

Who´s got time for that though? The fighting down the street is way more exciting!

The scene was clear as that week´s bright blue sky, a monstrous creature fighting against some masked woman with a part-cat part-fanservice outfit, with a pink heart on her mask and a black and pink cape, the two opponents looking at each in a pratical staring match as the creature got more and more irritated. An unnatentive gaze would have right away witnessed a masked hero fighting a barbaric creature, only...

    Monstrous Hero: Adamastor

    monster_udah.jpg

    Villain: Lovely Swiper

    cat villain.jpg

With a bit of attention, one might realize the true reason for the monster´s anger: The villain was holding a hostage, a young middle school girl with what seemed to be a crab´s body. Her quirk gave her crab-like qualities, and this unfortunately was really bothersome when one is tied up by the legs and hanging from a crane.

    crab girl.jpg

"It would seem a construction site is indeed no place for a crab, don´t you think, hero?" The villain taunted. She laughed, knowing that even if the heroes knew of her kind of activety, they had little to no information about her quirk. She had made sure of that. Nonetheless, it had been quite the chase. From the place where she praticed her performance, almost three kilometers away, to this construction site, there were almost three kilometers. Yet the hero beneath her, if that thing could really be called a hero, hadn´t as much as broken a sweat. It seemed their monstrification was quite the useful quirk. Fortunately, she DID have a hostage on stanby. "How about we make a deal? You give the money of those endearing fans of yours gathering here and let me go, then maybe I´ll let you catch this feat of human cuisine."

Adamastor couldn´t even reply, quite litterally. While monstrified, he lost all ability to vocalize words. It was just a matter of time now... if he turned off his monstrous form or he ran into his limit, his power would go into cooldown and the villain would get away. That sneaky little thief, scamming people for almost a decade now. But money wasn´t the only thing she took. Her victims always seemed to have aged and weakened by the end of her "performance" and would often go through periods of nearly suicidal depression. Truly, she was scum. Adamastor clenched his fist and looked down in rage.

The growls didn´t go unnoticed by the villain or the crowd. Lovely swiper burst into a lady-like laughter as the crowd began to murmur again, could this hero really do what needed to be done? Could he stop her? Inside Lovely Swiper, though, there was a sigh of relief. Caught on her first day after inheriting the business. She had disgraced her mother already... she couldn´t bear it. When she got away, she promised herself, she would go visit her grave, deliver the earnings, try to make up for all the names she called her when-

"That´s as far as you go." A deep voice stated. A sudden black spear suddenly grew from behind Lovely Swiper, piercing the rope holding the crab girl.

"You IDIOT! She´s gonna die!" She didn´t want to be a MURDERER!

"What an odd villain" the voice quickly approached, and Lovely Swiper got a glimpse of who it was.

    Reaching hero, #1 Shadow
    hero 01.jpg

The ironically second hero to show up rolled up one of the black tentacles he had for farms, then quickly unrolled propelling himself downwards fast enough to grab the girl with one tentacle and use the other to halt their fall. Lovely Swiper´s heart was already fast beating before, but now she was faced with not one but two heroes and she didn´t have a hostage. Her only option was to turn around and get fleeing, and that she did.

The crowd was cheering for #1 shadow already, but he seemed unphased. He turned to Adamastor.

"Sorry about this. Mind holding on for a second?" He inquired and Adamastor nodded. Shadow got a hold of Adamastor with one tentacle, while the other once again rolled up for propulsion. Adamastor reached out a hand, and the tentacles seemed to swallow and grow spikes. #1 Shadow smirked at this, and unraveled his tentacle, propelling the two heroes in the air. He spun around once while there, and flinged Adamastor towards the escaping villain. He landed right in front of her, on the same beam. He touched the beam, and it transformed into this slimy wormy creature, causing both villain and hero to fall to the side as it struggled to release itself from the rest of the building. But nonetheless, Adamastor had his eyes on the villain.

"Not...much...time..." He managed to say, a sign he was truly running out of time. He took her arm, and kicked the still normal beams, pushing them away and landing in a bunch of trees. Hero and villain alike were covered in bruises. but he held her hands tightly together as if handcuffed. The villain was captured.

The crowd roared, even such a short and simple battle could already be so exciting in this superhuman society. Reporters and the police were arriving too. #1 shadow decided to pull away, and escaped with his tentacles. His work was done, anyway.

To the aspiring heroes there that day, that was a small taste of what they might one day become, fight against and the bar they were reaching out for.

Lex Kagame
Morning 11:56 AM
The streets

Lex stood at back of the ever increasing crowd, wondering what was making the crowd so excited. He looked up and saw two figures falling from a beam on a construction site, guessing it was probably a battle going on. Seeing things like this were normal in the city. Most of the population had quirks, after all.He walked away from the crowd, the noise was making it hard for him to keep focus on his never ending problem.

'All these humans look mighty tasty', a once too familiar voice replied, 'mind if you let me taste one?'. It was the inner voice inside his head, he came with the quirk. 'Not a chance', Lex replied. ' I though you would say that', the voice then proceeded to send waves all throughout Lex's brain, causing him to stumble and crashing into a nearby citizen. The citizen looked at Lex as if he was insane, Lex was after all grabbing his hair and gritting his teeth like a madman. The pain lasted for a few more seconds before going away. He sighed, having successfully suppressed the 'voice'. He then proceeded to look around at where he was at now, he was surrounded by some houses he had never seen before, "Oh crap", he realized he was lost...

-Tarou Sasaki-
Morning 11:30
Tarou's house/ The streets

It was a really nice day outside, the sun was shining, birds were singing, flowers were blooming. On days like these, kids like Tarou Sasaki… Should be getting out of bed. Of course ‘should’ being the key word in this situation, as the kid in question was steadily sleeping and descending further into an endless void of dreamland. His sweet dreams didn’t last very long however, as his dad had different plans for him. Nobody really remembers when it started, or even why did his father decided it was a good idea to wake up his son with a full nelson, but it was a surprisingly good tactic. This morning not being an exception, Tarou was woken up by a sharp back pain.

“I’m not asleep!” He shouted, ironically almost asleep.

“Well, now you aren’t!” Said his father in a dry, but playful tone. “It’s your big day, Tarou. Hope you can do your best.” His father patted him on the shoulder. “You need to take out the thrash." The dissapointed expression of the kid made his father laugh. "The classic piece of toast is on the table, so grab it and do what you must! Oh and also go to a convenience store, we're out of bread. Good luck!" Yelled his dad, leaving his room, slamming the door on his way out. Still pretty tired and confused with the situation, Tarou got up and started prepping for his "big day".

Upon walking into the street, the familiar smell of the city hit the boy’s nostrils. It wasn’t something that he hated, but he wasn’t particularly fond of it either. What he did like however, was the constant aroma of food being prepared early in the morning by the nearby stalls. Tarou looked at the briefly, but decided that it's too fat to eat for breakfast, so the toast he was holding in his mouth, as cliché as it is, must suffice.

Tarou couldn’t remember exactly when did the fight start, nor how did it break out, what he did remember however is the sudden rush of adrenaline when he saw a young girl, hanging, quite literally, by a thread from a quite tall construction crane. His first reaction was naturally; to help her. However, before he could even use his quirk, he was stopped by a policeman standing in front of the crowd.

“Where do you think you’re going kid?” The man looked over his shoulder. His eyes had dark bags under them. Needles to say, this man was equally bored and tired.

“We need to help somehow! Don’t you see? That girl is in danger!” Tarou almost shouted, while pointing to the crane.

“Leave this to the pro’s kiddo.” The officer said and turned his back to the kid. After a short while, however, he started talking again. “Even if I’d let you go, what do you exactly plan on doing?”

Tarou was taken aback by that question, he didn’t really think about what he wanted to do. He just wanted to help in any way possible. A few seconds passed and the boy’s mouth opened again. “I… I can jump and catch the hostage! That way Adamastor-sama can attack while the villain is distracted.”

The man in front of him just shook his head and sighed. “Listen, even if you did that, the villain would have a ton of time to either let go of the hostage, change her location, harm the hostage… The list goes on and on. The truth is, you’d only be a dead weight for the hero.” While he was saying all that, the fight escalated, with the villain now on the more defensive side, surrounded by two heroes. The girl was rescued, so it was only a matter of time before the heroes emerged victorious. When it was finally over the policeman turned his wrinkled face to the kid behind him.
“Maybe one day, you’ll understand” He smiled and gave Tarou a solid pat on his bald head before heading out to capture the villain.

But what would happen if #1 Shadow wouldn’t appear? It wouldn’t end up pretty to say the least. And that’s why these times people need heroes more than ever. Tarou thought to himself. After the incident, he started walking towards his destination: A nearby shop.

~Starting Location & Time~
Ayako's home at 11:37 AM

A young, rather tired looking girl stumbled out of the restroom and into the short hallway that connected her side of the house to the living room, kitchen, and her parent's rooms: a small study, their shared bedroom, and bathroom. The house was a decent size, and she wasn't complaining about the solitude she got to enjoy every now and then. Ayako rubbed her eyes as she casually made her way down the cream-colored hallway and into the living room where her mother was waiting for her as patiently as ever. "Good morning, dear. I see that you've already gotten dressed for your morning walk." Evelyn greeted her daughter in English with a warm smile. Her mother's gentle voice, cool blue eyes, and wispy, brown hair made her seem approachable and motherly, which she was. After all, Eve wasn't one to get upset easily and was an all around sweetheart. And, the feathers hanging from her arms only made her seem that much more approachable.

"Mornin'" The teenager yawned a reply, stretching out her back as she moved over to embrace her mother in a soft, affectionate hug. The two soon broke from their hug, a sign that Aya was allowed to go out as long as she didn't get herself into any trouble. Her mother, although protective, didn't stop her child from doing what she liked so long as it was legal. Evelyn didn't want her child to be arrested for her mistakes.

"Be safe out there! I'll make you something to eat when you get back, alright?" Her mother called out as Aya took off her house slippers, placing them neatly by the door before slipping on her black running shoes. "Okay, I should be back soon. Tell dad that I said hi when he's finished with his work." Ayako replied with a quick wave goodbye. She was grateful to have a mother that cared so much for her, even if it was embarrassing at times.

Kuroshi padded into the living area just in time to see her slip outside.

~Middle Location & Time~
A city street near the scene of the fight at 11:50 AM

The bright sun's light warmed the tiny bits of exposed skin on Ayako's hands, arms, and her face. Not only did it feel quite nice, but it made her pale skin appear to be lighter than it actually was, making her scars stand out against the stark white background. She gave a soft sigh of content as she spilled in her earbuds, cranking up her music to drown out the noise of the streets. It seemed unusually busy today with a large crowd blocking off most of the road and sidewalk. Had something happened? She pondered to herself.

Ayako paused her music, taking her right earbud out of her ear. The air was thick with anticipation, and the murmurs of countless souls mingled together to form an unintelligible mess of voices only reinforced the general unease of the situation. The teenager shivered as she stared at the mass of bodies before her.

She no longer wanted to be here...

Ayako crossed her arms over her silver t-shirt and placed her phone into the pocket of her black and white striped sweatpants. She hunched her back to make herself as small as possible as she crossed to the other side of the street, speed walking down the relatively clear sidewalk. Behind her, the crowd before into a mass of cheers before being drowned out by music.

Now that she could breathe again, Aya hummed along with the music playing from her headphones, a relaxed smile painting her features. She paid little mind to the people she passed by, only glancing at them once as they went their separate ways. All she cared about in this moment was getting to her goal: a stoplight a few blocks away. Then, she'd head back home so her mother wouldn't worry about her. Hopefully, her father would be finished working by the time she got back too. She enjoyed joking around with him.

Sei Ichiyama & Hilbert Allegretti
Time: 11: 57 A.M
Location: Another street apart form where the fight had occurred.
"C'mon Sei-kun or we're gonna end up late," a young man filled with plenty of energy said to his friend who was looking a little tired.

"...Aren't we early? *Yawn* Seems a bit too early to me you know what I mean?"

"Life is like chocolate. If you eat it too late then it's going to melt! This is why we're going out right now, so that we don't end up like melted chocolate."

"Speaking of melted chocolate I would've loved to have some."

"Figured you would say that. That's why I brought some chocolate with me. We'll have it after our exercise. Well in any case let's get ourselves going. I wouldn't want to be late."

The tired-looking boy, Sei Ichiyama, would nod as the two of them would proceed towards their destination. His friend, Hilbert Allegretti, would be reading a magazine about pro-heroes. Sei would be eating a rice ball that his mother made for him to eat on the go as breakfast. It was a bit quiet where they lived so it was a rather brisk walk.

"So apparently a fight broke out. Adamastor and #1 Shadow fought off and captured some villains... or something like that. I wasn't sure on the whole detail," Sei said to Hilbert while trying to make some form of conversation. His friend had always told him that he should at least try and make some conversation instead of waiting on others to do it though it wasn't easy.

"Oh hey you're finally making conversation good! Also villains huh? Pro-Heroes never have rest right? It's always having to fight a villain or some form of public outing, but that's what they gotta do. Speaking of pro-heroes you seen this month's issue yet? A newly admitted pro hero gave his testimonial on the whole process. Blood, sweat and tears was what it took to get to where he was. He commented on how it felt like hell all over. What we're gonna do is going to be pretty hard. You sure you up for it?"

Sei would look at Hilbert with a blank stare before giving a single blink. "I'm here now right? This is what we came to do. We're going to be heroes. I wanna give Justice for people." The last statement was the hint of passion he had for heroism. His friend would give a smile of confidence.

"Right right right. That's what we're gonna do. You and I are gonna be heroes. Y'know... maybe we should be a Tag Team kind of hero you know what I'm saying? With your quirk and mine together, we can easily perform rescue and villain capture operations with the greatest of ease." And so their conversation kept on going as they ventured on forward. Their plan today was to head for the park to get some exercise done.

Hayate Isamu
Hayate's flat at 10:02 AM
??? at 424
As Hayate woke from his slumber the blue haired male decided to go along and do well what he always does every morning. Step one of his morning wake up normally starts with coffee and today was no different, heading into his kitchen he filled his kettle up before he began heading around his house opening all the winds. He lived in a rather small flat and his flat was located at the top of a seven-story building so he had a rather great view but more so the amount of wind he got up here was great which was great for him. As he began wondering around in his usual way while waiting for his kettle to boil he decided to spice things up on his usual morning ritual and he was going to do things backward well other than the coffee since that was already brewing.

A small ding was heard from the kitchen as the still mostly asleep Hayate began drowsily moving over. Arriving at the kitchen he began making himself a cup of coffee, two teaspoons of coffee, three sugars and no milk just how he liked it. Hayate began thinking what to do next normal it would be to go get washed and brush his teeth but today he was going backward's which meant it was going to the roof. Approaching the door to his flat and reaching his hand towards the door handle he froze before looking at himself. He had almost nothing on he slept in his boxers and had done for years, this put a wrench in his plan after all what else could go wrong by going backward's, in the end, Hayate decided it wasn't worth it and headed straight to the bathroom.

After washing his face and brushing his teeth, Hayate headed back to his bedroom and pulling out his usual style consisting of blue jeans and a black t-shirt. Returning to the door he left a few minutes ago and placing his shoes on his feet he finally left his flat but not before grabbing his usual gloves on his way out. Locking the door behind him Hayate headed to the roof, while access to the roof was meant to be locked it never was from some strange reason. Finally arriving at the roof Hayate opened the door and sat in the center of the roof, he did this every day for a reason he knew all too well.

Flat Building Roof - The Streets
Hayate just simply sat on the roof for around an hour and a bit just simple twiddling his thumbs allowing the wind to hit his body, he knew the roof was the best place for this being rather high up and having slim to no protection from it made it ideal. After finally getting bored of being sat on the roof Hayate decided it was time to do something with his day. Leaving the roof Hayate made his way down the many...many steps thanks to the elevator being down, not like he wasn't used to this it hadn't been repaired for a good few weeks now. It didn't take him all that long to get down the stairs mostly because he was both used to it and rather athletic.

After finally leaving his flat building Hayate just decided to go for a wonder, he had no destination in mind after around twenty of wondering finally something seemed interesting. It seemed some pro-heroes were engaged with a villain. Truth be told Hayate isn't all that big on the pro-hero thing but watching a fight is something he always found interesting. The fight lasted for around twenty minutes but as Hayate guessed the heroes won. Truth be told the fight was rather interesting or at least it was #1 Shadow appeared to him the rest was just boring a staredown between Lovely Swiper and the hero Adamister, Adamaster...whatever his name was. Hayate simply stood around watching as the police began to do what they do best and arrest the villain Lovely Swiper.

Hayate began running simulations in his head on how he would have handled that situation if he was a pro. It took him twenty attempts before he even thought of one that would have worked and even that would be determined on his current storage level. Hayate shrugged before he began walking away from the scene he hoped that a villain would appear out of nowhere and attack him or people around him it's been a while since he had been able to really use his quirk and while he is slightly glad about that he still does miss the old days.

>12:32 - A Normal, Quiet Alley

"H-hey! Come on man!"
Crash! Sprinting full speed down the city's back-alley streets, a lone middle school boy was fighting for his life. Or at least he felt like he was.

"It was just a soda!" Another crash rang out ahead of him, the boy only processing what it has when he ran past a thrown, squashed trashcan lid. This was some serious bullshit. He and Itami were supposed to be FRIENDS! Why was he chasing him down like this for a little shoplifting!? This was definitely a bigger crime than some petty theft! God. He didn't even know why he hung around with this guy, not a single week went by without him pulling a stunt like this. He should have known it was just a matter of time until he did something to set the damn psychopath off.

The boy was seriously surprised that Itami hadn't already ended up dead with his 'habits'. He was just glad that they'd be going to different high schools. Three more years of dealing with the guy's 'antics' sounded like hell on earth. A real trial by fire. He didn't even want to begin to imagine how much a pain the guy was going to be once he'd developed that Quirk of his. One had to wonder how incompetent his mom and dad nee-

Smack! This time, the sound came from the back of his head. Before he knew it the boy was sprawled out on his front, knocked cleanly off balance and tumbling down to the ground. Ergh. That was going to leave a bruise. Naturally attempting to scramble back to his feet, the boy's attempt was cut short by a quick pressure on his back and he came crashing back down onto the ground, pinned.

It was his pursuers foot.

"Chikin-kun!" Looming over the boy, Shiri Itami's voice rang out cheerful and clear, his reddish skin highlighted by the midday sun. "Why'd ya have to run, man? We could have ended this with a nice and proper brawl or something, but you just hhhhaaaddd to go and ruin it! Running away! There's nothing more criminal in the world!" God. This was definitely not a lecture he wanted to hear from him. "I would have even accepted an apology, if you wanted to be boring or whatever, but I guess a chase works too! Really gets the blood pumping." Grinning the whole while, Itami released the boy from under his foot and hauled him to his feet. Finally done with him? The boy breathed a sigh of reli-

One more Smack! Could be heard, this time right from his nose.

"That'll be the punishment for your crimes!"
He screamed. Every part of him wanted to swing back, but he knew that was probably what the asshole wanted. So he didn't answer with his fists. He didn't answer with words either. He just turned around, and walked the other way, clutching a bleeding nose as he went.

Shiri just sighed.

What a wuss. He didn't even try to fight back a little. He'd had his reservations about the guy for a while, but now he was really glad that he wasn't going to the same high school as the dude. Would've totally ruined his vibe. Surveying the damage he'd done and concluding his was an afternoon well spent, he dusted off his skirt and headed back the way he came, his mind turning to other things.

Peace Sign Academia. High School. It was only three days away and his feelings couldn't possibly be more mixed. Getting to train or whatever was one thing, but having to put up with a bunch of stick in the mud Hero wannabes was another. God he hoped he wouldn't have to deal with any boring classes like 'Talking the Villain Down 101' or something. Gross. Stupid and gross. Whatever, though. He'd just skip class if he ever caught wind of that. It wasn't like he was afraid of expulsion from such a pansy-sounding place anyway. He'd just have to hope they'd move into field work quick, and that at least one or two of his fellow students wouldn't be intolerable sticks in the mud.

His stomach grumbled.

Looks like he'd have to hope they had some decent food too, he joked to himself as his mind turned to finding a place to eat.

11:35

After an hour or so of slowly nodding off, Sanpei was forced awake when his body was jerked forwards. Sighing, he lifted his thin arms to adjust his now-eschewed sunglasses and rub the sleep from his eyes. Were they already there? With all the inconsistencies in the road it'd taken forever to fall asleep. Ugh.

Sanpei slid his feet forwards to recline in his seat and dragged his hands across his face. Between his fingers, he watched as the other bus-goers stood or turned to stare out the windows. And then they continued to stare out the window, some of them gesturing excitedly and others whispering to each other.

"What's going on?" "Do you see that girl?" "It's kinda far away." "Look, that monster probably tied her up! Or wait-"

Brows furrowing, he straightened up, grabbed his bag by a strap, and moved to the front of the bus.

Not too far ahead of them a few temporary road blocks were set up, and in front of those a crowd of people had gathered around a building under construction.

"Looks like a fight broke out. Damn villains are messing up my job."

Sanpei's eyes widened, and he snapped his head around to the bus driver. "A hero fight?" he couldn't help the eagerness coming through his voice, "Would you mind letting me off?"

"Seriously? I'm not gonna wait for you."

"That's ok. I'm sure."

The driver shrugged and opened the door, letting the boy practically run out. Heart beating, a grin plastered across his face, and his previous exhaustion completely forgotten Sanpei weaved through the crowd to watch the scene play out. A real hero fight, up close! As the two, now three, battled he stared with rapt attention, his nails digging into his backpack's straps.

And it was over as soon as it had started. The crab-girl saved, the villain captured, and police began to shoo the crowd away.

As the excitement calmed down Sanpei became aware of a grave problem. The bus had already left to find a different route and he didn't know where he was.

Slowly he turned himself around. He'd never payed attention when he'd traveled before, and none of the surroundings looked familiar. Well, at least his phone could tell him his location. He dug it out of his pocket, pressed down on the side button with a bony finger, and waited. The brand logo flashed on screen. He began to type in his password when a notification flashed on screen. Battery power critically low? And then it was gone, and with a final buzz the screen turned black once more.

Oh, shit.

Bunny Carstaires
The Carstaires household - Time - 11:28

"Bunny! Time to get up!" The words pierced throughout the house, shoving their way into the young girl's mind and rattling about briefly, only to be greeted with a tired "hrmm.." as she shuffled her way out of the bed and clambered her way downstairs in her pyjamas, adorned with small cute bunnies. Bunny, a young, bright individual that had been accepted into the famous "Peace Sign Academia" and was to head there in three days time, munched on a small bowl of salad that had been prepared by her mother merely minutes before. "So.. Are you excited?" the mother asked, filled with pride after the news of her daughter being accepted and not afraid to show it. "Yeah! It's all a bit much though. I hope people like me, and that I fit in, at least, but I'm sure it will be fine considering we all have something in common." "What's that?" "Well, that we all got in of course!" The exchange went, the pair smiling each other with glee as ideas of the future crept up. "Hey, I know you want to rest up before heading the academy, but do you think you could go out and grab the shopping for me? There's a list on the table. You must be full of energy after all the sleeping you've been doing and I'm pretty sure hibernation isn't in our nature.." she laughed, pointing out the small piece of paper before heading out the front door to work before her daughter could even say no. Bunny simply rolled her eyes before finishing off her food, heading upstairs, dressing herself then heading out the door after picking up the list and peering down at it, dressed in her casual clothes with her bunny ears simply poking up happily, still buzzing with the joy after being allowed into the new hero school.

The street of the commotion - Time - 11:44

As young Bunny made her way to the local shop after preparing herself for the outside world, she found herself among the flock of people that were all crowded around the hostage that was currently suspended below a rather large crane, the sound of flickering cameras at the front and chatter all around blocking out even her most refined sense of hearing, but she managed to pick up what was going on. She blinked and suddenly it was over, she barely had time to register that she had just seen the #1 hero save the day and that the crowds had already begun to dissipate before heading off once more, travelling from street to street ditzily on the search for the store, despite knowing where it was, and simply listening to the chats going on amongst people. Some called what she did "eaves-dropping", but she simply viewed it as a small hobby to do when there was nothing else.

Armin Slater
5:00 A.M.
Armin awoke to his alarm clock almost instantly and rolled out of bed falling to the side and catching himself just before he hit the floor. He swiftly fixed his bed. Well it wasn't a bed really, it had been a sofa. Now it was his bed. The joys of foster care, but he didn't pause to laud how great foster care was. Instead he swift and quietly went to the kitchen, turned on the light, and sat down. He grabbed his book and began to read for his morning reading. Half an hour later he stood and fixed himself breakfast. It was a quick light affair, just some yogurt. Too much and it would disturb his exercise. After that he set about stretching before changing into his exercise outfit. It was time to hit the road.

Within an hour, Armin had run the seven miles to his exercise center. It wasn't close to his fasts, but it was all about pacing. He still had several hours of exercise to go. Armin jogged in quickly waving at the attendant before signing in quickly. He threw his backpack into his locker before setting about his kickboxing centered workout of the day. For the next three hours, he worked out his whole body striving to wear himself out, which he did. One of his kickboxing acquaintances came in and challenged him to a fight which he accept.

Armin and Yamada got ready and begun a light sparring. Even though Armin was somewhat tired he put up a good fight. Yamada cursed at him lightly before saying. "Slater-san, your quirk is so unfair. Enhanced reflexes are a cheat in martial arts."

Armin grinned and dodged another punch. The fight ended after Armin landed a quick jab into Yamada's nose. He then headed to the showers and came out at eleven. From here on his day was free so he decided to do some exploring downtown. He had no desire to go back to his foster home. They were dying for him to go to school so he wouldn't have to bother them anymore. HOnestly he couldn't wait to go to school.

Of course as he was walking in the town, he saw the fight. As soon as he saw it, he pulled out his ipad and began taking notes. It was a good fight displaying the weakness of specific quirks. Just like his. He couldn't fight monsters very well. He sighed and continued walking down the street.

Among the various people huddled around the construction site, watching the scene unfold. While some for a moment mistaken the scene as the monster being the villian. Not the girl dressed in a school uniform a surgical mask on her face. Behind the white mask were razor sharp teeth so large her lips couldn't fit around them. She knew which of them was the hero and just one look told you if she was anymore excited she just might explode. 'Woah! Adamastor here this is already turning out to be an awesome day!'

Just as things might seem bad for Adamastor another hero showed up. #1 Shadow while not completely one of her favorites he was still pretty cool. Yukari had already decided her future this event only fueled her desires to become a hero. For a moment Yukari saw herself surrounding by people cheering her name like some kind of rock star.

When she opened her eyes the news and police were on the scene. She pulled the strap of her backpack up more onto her shoulder. Right now wasn't the time to be daydreaming about being a hero. She began to stroll down the street a large smile spreading from behind her mask. Yukari once again seemed like some type of delinquent.

People should certainly have been up already. Kids should be out playing or doing something. Someone rationale should be doing something, and since Akiara tended to think of herself like that, she should have been up. She wasn't though, and her parents were getting mad.

"AKI GET THE HELL UP!" Lucas yelled from the other room and Akiara ignored him this time. The house was a mix of overly loud pop music (Blame Matthew), country music (Blame mom), and the sound of Lucas and dad fighting. They did that a lot, and it seemed to be their way of bonding. A usual morning. It stayed usual for about five more minutes as she had just fallen asleep.

"AKI!" Lucas shouted, but this time he was right above her. Akiara jumped, smacking her head into the top of her bunk bed in shock. "Aki get the hell up! Packing time! Also, I made you cereal!" Akiara frowned deeply at him, near a glare.

"Fine! But get out so I can get dressed!" The younger sibling shouted back and shoved Lucas out of the little room. Despite their fame, the Willi family had a fairly normal house. Four bedrooms, one for the parents, one for Lucas, and one for Matthew and Akiara to share, and a guest room. All of these were small, with the beds tucked into a corner in each (Matthew and Aki had a bunk bed). Even the kitchen was small. It could barely fit two people at a time, but at least it connected to the living/dining room. They all ate on the couch or wherever they could find.

Today was not a day to relax. The past three weeks had been study and train, non stop. Now she had to pack and avoid her family at the same time. They would get strange at this time with mixed reactions. Matthew would probably try to give her lots of protein shakes. Aki didn't want that artificial stuff, she'd instead make some smoothies.

"Moooooom!" Akiara called out of her room, opening the door after pulling on her hoodie and sweatpants. "Mom, what kind of crap did Lucas call cereal today..." She groaned as her mother came over and rolled her eyes with a smile. "I think he's giving you a bowl of broccoli." Her mother chuckled and smiled again. "Hey! It's not as bad as the pine cones! At least these you can actually eat!" Aki gave her a deadpan face. "They're frozen aren't they..." "Well... Yeah... And he put chocolate syrup on it, so maybe not edible" Tasha laughed and Akiara groaned. More crazy food just to annoy her.

"Great. I'll go get rid of it..." She mumbled and trekked out into the chaos. Lucas was sitting on the couch with her father, both in costume. They seemed to be debating Disney characters... As her mother had said, there was a giant bowl of frozen broccoli drenched in half a bottle of chocolate. As much as she disliked it, now was not the time to pick a fight. Akiara picked up the bowl and disposed of the mess before putting the dish in the washer. "I'm going out..." She called and grabbed a bag with lots of random things in it. Such as, gum, dozens of receipts, candy wrappers, pictures of dogs, and lots of other things.

And Aki was off, racing out of the house and ducking past Mathew's hug to escape and run into the city. There seemed to be a lot of fights going on today, so she shot her family a text. They didn't respond, so she assumed they thought it was being handled. "Well fine then..." She grumbled and went to get her groceries.

New Day
Time: 6:30 AM
Location: Home of Seth Hone
Riba opened her eyes, a buzzing coming from her lap. Her vision was at first blurry, her back felt stiff, she could taste the hair in her mouth, and her mind had began to swirl with what she had done of last night. "Another night spent...." she looked at where her face had been, the now dead laptop being a sign of what she had done. "Writing."

Before anything else could come to mind, she remembered the buzzing of her phone. She immediately went to shut it off, trying not to disturb her uncle while he slept. "6:30......" Riba got up from her stool, glancing around at the room she sat in. It was a small brown room with a white carpet and a massive window where the sun was shining. She had a bed, perfectly made though that was because she rarely slept in it. The table caught her eye, everything was labeled for easy use, even the pens which had obvious bite marks on them. "Better start cleaning."

Time: 11:50
Location: Seth's Kitchen
Riba had finished cleaning the kitchen, wearing a apron, bandanna and everything. She felt the sweat on her brow but even that didn't stop her as the satisfaction of having everything being cleaned before she went away would be worth it. That's when she heard the footsteps of a familiar pair of Christmas slippers.

"Morning!" There came her uncle, a tall man with stubble on his face, black hair pushed back with gel, and wearing a black bath robe. Riba glanced at him but continued scrubbing the table. "Food's on the counter. I made you grilled fish, miso soup, and rice. Enjoy." Seth smiled and went to the counter "Going to miss your cooking when you go to PSA." Riba bit her lip as even she was a little worried about being a part of this, then some words came to her mind, little words from a younger her.

"I'LL SHOW YOU! I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO."

"I'm going to get some food so that you won't miss my cooking too much. I'll be back" Before she left, she sprinted over to Seth and gave him a tight hug. "I'm going to miss you too, bone brain." Before Seth could respond Riba got out of the hug, gave a light punch, and sprinted to the bathroom to at least look professional. She tied her hair into a lovely high bun before running downstairs with a grocery tote bag for easy storage. "A great hero. Nothing else matters but that."
Time: 12:01
Location: Local Grocery Store
Riba had headed to the local grocery store, the intercoms playing the most popular songs at the time. The light scent of lemon filled her senses as she went from aisle to aisle. She didn't know what to feel, three days till school started; the pen she used for writing off what she needed finally breaking under the pressure of her teeth. "Stupid weak pen!"

So many thoughts were going through her head, some were old memories, others were what PSA would be like. A frustrated grimace came to her face at the idea of who would be there. Peppy kids with ego's to stroke or self centered jerks who wanted fame and money. Riba thought her goal was noble though that was her thought and all she trusted was her own. Her mind started to wander to the beginning exam that got her to PSA, one of the best day of her lives as her goal was being realized. While shopping for groceries, she reminisced on it in anticipation for the days to come.

SHIMIZU, LIÁN
xD0cUl0.jpg
8:45 A.M.
SHIMIZU RESIDENCE

Silence.

Even after so many seemingly endless months, the serene stillness had never sat well with her. The sizzling of breakfast on frying pans, exuberant laughter after a dumb joke, and clicking of the keyboard keys on the kitchen table had practically vanished, the whole family had holed themselves up in their own rooms rather than mingling around the house. Of course, the teenage girl would be lying if she said that she didn't miss it, but something about the quietude had led her to believe that she would make the best out of a bad situation. Groaning slightly, Lián sits up in her twin bed, smacking the antique alarm on her side-table. She had let it go off for several hours, normally she was supposed to be up by now, but she couldn't bring herself to get up just yet. However, since it was already getting so late (at least for her) she had decided to drag herself out of bed.

Trudging through the halls of her small home, she peeks into each room for signs of both her fathers, however she could find nothing until stumbling upon two notes on the counter from them, quick scrawls demanding her to make her own food and have a great day. Lián scratches the back of her neck as she yawns, crumbling both post-it notes in one hand. She had no intention of having a bad day, but her the schedule for the day in her mental mind was empty. The best thing for her to do was make the most of her break before school started, but at this point there was nothing to do. She was sure her "friends" from junior high had had enough of seeing her face, Lián couldn't blame them. She wanted nothing to do with them either. After a bad night of karaoke filled with arguing and fighting, she had sworn to herself that she would rather die than speak to them again.

Lián was pulled from her thoughts by a buzz ringing through the house, indicating that someone was at the door. 'Another package for Shan, no doubt,' she thinks to herself, not bothering to answer their summons. 'They can leave it at the door.' She continues to raid the refrigerator, as she had been before she was rudely interrupted by the bell. Frankly, she was in no mood to actually cook something, but it seemed as if the only things she could eat was raw and inedible in their current states. Sighing loudly, she pulls out a carton of eggs and milk so she could whip up a batch of fried eggs.

9:15 A.M.

After 30 minutes of mindless cooking and chewing, Lián had made her way to the bathroom to ready herself for the day ahead of her. Even though there was nothing for her to do, she'd rather distract herself by looking good-as-hell anyways. She takes a quick shower, puts on a pair of blue jeans and a light grey sweater, and sets herself in front of the vanity in her room, ready to apply her face for the rest of the day. Firstly, Lián starts with priming her face with a redness color-correcting primer before moving onto actually working on her eyes. Sweeping an orange eyeshadow on both lids then moves onto the black eyeliner. Some people complain that creating the wings were the hardest part, but Lián managed to finish it under 5 minutes. Of course, she brags about it to any makeup beauty who dares say anything on the subject.

After she finishes up cleaning off the excess powder off of her cheeks, Lián rubs foundation all over her face (and carefully around the eyes). She swipes the concealer on her flaws, blends them into her skin, adds the bronzer, blush, and highlighter. The look was basic, but God did she think she was cute. 'I'll date myself, I don't need anyone else anyways.' She completes her routine with a little bit of red tint on her lips, smiling to herself in the mirror.

Lián hears the pitter-patter of paws on the wooden floors, running at full speed towards her onto her lap. "Hey, Fushi! Finally you're up, huh?" She scratches the head of the white Spitz, who proceeds to lick her hand. "I bet you're hungry, hmm?" Grunting, Lián carries the dog over to the kitchen to scoop some dog chow for little Fushi to devour. Watching as he does so, she can't help but smirk at the dog.

11:50 A.M.

Her phone in her pant's back pocket vibrates, Lián pulls it out to see who was bothering her now. She raises a brow at a text from one of her fathers, Junjie, who asked her to walk his beloved Fushi. Now, this was unusual. She couldn't remember the last time he had asked her to do something like this, but she wasn't about to complain now. Lián was content with walking the dog around, anyways. She grabs the dog's leash that hung from the key rack, clipped it onto the dog's collar, and led him outside. Lián locks the door and walks away from the house, letting the dog lead her wherever he wanted to go.

Outside of the store/ Store

After Tarou had finally disposed of the dirty trash bag he was holding throughout the entirety of his journey, he saw the outline of his destination. The shop wasn’t too big of a structure, nor was it the prettiest looking, but it was something that brought his memories back. He used o go to this exact place every weekend with his parents to buy their weekly groceries. Why Tarou remembers those moments very fondly is because his mom always used to buy him an ice cream. Hmm… I think I can treat myself today. Faint smile appeared on his lips as he entered the store.

12:06

As soon as he entered, he was attacked by the familiar fragrance of the shop which, as well as the constant ring background music, created the homiest atmosphere a shop could achieve. Going in, Tarou passed the shop carts, he only needed like, one or two things anyway. Navigating through the aisles for the search of a loaf of bread, he found not only that, but much, much more.Even though he visits the place almost every week, the cheeky managers always manage to move the products and shelves in such a way, that Tarou alwys has to pass the whole store, looking for the one thing he needs. So very time, he passed some new things, he made up an excuse about why he specifically NEEDS that thing. Okay, a pack of gums for fresh breath, some cottage cheese, because proteins, a nice box of tea, because I only have five boxes left, my ice cream that I deserved. Oh they have matcha cookies... That list went on and on, until finally he couldn’t fit anything else in his hands. He cursed himself for not taking the cart, but continued onward, his attention turned to the fridges. I just need milk.

When he tried to maneuver all the things in his arms, simultaneously reaching for milk, a disaster struck. He slipped by an accident and hit his head on the nearby shelf. That made him drop all the items he was carrying and after tumbling a few times, he landed on the floor. A few painful seconds later he looked up and saw a slender looking girl, with black silky hair. She was visible frustrated on something that Tarou couldn’t really pinpoint. She was thinking about something, as her gaze wandered past the shelves and somewhere beyond the concrete walls of the store.

"Bad day, huh?" He said, still laying flat on the floor.

Intro to the entrance exam

  • (Akacha´s POV)
    12h21
Just three days, huh? I was already feeling the butterflies in my stomach. Who´d have thought that I of all people would be one of the ones to pass the exam into this hero academia? I couldn´t help but giggle as I stuffed "Heroes of the Silver Age" into the rest of my bookshelf. What would our age be called, I wondered. Maybe the cleaner´s age, considering it was already the fourth time I organized my room since being accepted into the academy via letter. I just couldn´t contain it, this urge to pick up my bags and go right away. It would be so cool! I threw punches and kicks in air at the thought of being a hero, and alongside me people with transformation quirks and big powerups and fire masters and fighting animal people and voom and slash and pow-
The wooden cup on my desk dropped to the ground, spilling the pencils it once contained. Well, it didn´t really matter, the thing was already cracked anyway. You couldn´t just discard something because it was a little broke, you´d be wasting money, I mean, why would you go and buy a cup everytime they had a slight crack?
As I got down to pick it up, I noticed how similar a shape the pencil and cracked cup formed to one of the building debris in the entrance exam.
"Yeah, that takes me back... Has it really only been two and half weeks?" I asked myself.

    -flashback-
    (3rd Person Cinematic POV)
AUDITORIUM, 16h07, two weeks and four days prior

19 hours. The lights lit up in the auditorium at last, and the whispers among the overcrowded seats ended. 19 hours had passed since the majority of the occupants of said seats had taken anything into their stomachs. In the meantime, they had come to the academia grounds without being allowed to bring anything but the clothes on their body with them, they had slept, skipped breakfast «, taken the written test, skipped lunch and forced to do various exercises. Now, everyone just wanted to go home, so they stared closely to where the spotlights were aimed, until this child-like figure stepped on it.
"What´s a child doing in the stage?"
    "Is that some teacher´s son?"
"No, no, that´s clearly some kind of robot, it just LOOKS like a child..."

The figure stopped before reaching the center of the stage. For a moment, there was only silence and confusion, before the columns exhasperated the simple words of tangible wrath:
    "I´ll just pretend I didn´t hear that."

The figure proceeded to once again, heading towards the center of the stage. They turned to the audience.

"Firstly " that person began, their voice now much more calm and charming, and a way of speaking that was clearly far more polite "I would like to apologize for the lack of seats and space for some of you. We are a new institution, and I´m afraid we could not have accounted for this sudden flood of all you wonderful aspiring heroes."

If you were in the right spot, you might have heard some girls squeal a "gah" of adoration. In another, growls of empty stomachs.

"I would also like to apologize for one more thing. Although none of us at the PSA stated otherwise, I´m sure many of you were convinced those exercises we did earlier were supposed to be your pratical exam, as some instintutions do. However, this is false. Great heroes are pushed to their limits, and have to retain a reassuring smile, show their might rather than weakness or fear, inspire hope in people and fright in villains even in the most adverse conditions. And the training to be able to do that can be no less harsh. All of you here today have been driven to exhaustion on purpose. For this possible misinformation I apologize."

"EEEEEEEEEEEEH?!!!!!!!" A collective revolting shout echoed within the auditorium. Just as he had stated, the director retained a calm smile and his posture while he waited for the protests to die down. Then, he proceeded.

"Well, if you want to go home so badly, the door is back there. We won´t prevent you from resigning at any time. For the rest of you, though, I will now begin to explain the exercise. Oh, and I almost forgot, where are my manners? My name is Haka Shikikan, and I´ll be your school principal if you pass today´s exams."

Suddenly a large hologram screen appeared behind the small principal, as he smirked and pointed towards the series of photos of rubble on the screen, and another of a mannequin on the rubble that showed up as well.
    mmd__artist__s_mannequin__dl_by_mmdfakewings18-d3if6dy.png

"This is a simple, classic scenario. Villains have just attacked an area, with an unknown objective. They went into hiding as the heroes arrived, however. With the damage they caused, there are bound to be many victims and it´s your job to rescue them. In this exam, you will find mannequins scattered in every place you can think of in within the rubble set we produced. To gain points, you have to find these victims , and bring them to the entrance of the exam. The mannequins weight around half of what a regular person does on average, but don´t think it will be so easy to get them back: Villains will be waiting in the shadows. Some may come to meet you, others will stay hidden and protect a certain piles of victims. If you intend to fight the villains, however, please look at this."

The little man search for something in his fancy suit´s pockets, and remove this green blinking belt.

"This is a "damage measuring device". You will be wearing these, and everytime you would get hurt, these belts will loose a certain percentage of their total health, the green will become a bit red in other words. If they become full red, at 0%, you are not allowed to further participate in the exercise and will have to leave. You will not be the only ones wearing this device, however. The mannequins will also be wearing them, and theirs are set to be more sensitive. If you carry the victims carelessly, therefore, you risk "killing them" and that victim can no longer count points for you. Villains, on the other hand, will not have one of these devices on them. Heroes are not supposed to aim to kill, but capture the villain and break their will to fight. To defeat the "villains" you must use the rope you will be provided in the beggining of the exercise. Only the ropes tied around the villain will count as points. One last way of winning points is by using a healing quirk or similar form of support on a fellow aspiring hero. However, don´t think you can around hurting others to heal them later: Any action which are considered to be an intentional attempt to disrupt the exam of another aspiring hero or a form of harassment against them will earn a disqualification from the exam."

The principal took a deep breath, then bowed.
"That is all. Thank you for listening, and good luck out there."

At this point, he walked away, and headed towards the observation room. Coordenators came into the auditorium and began to guide away the students.

OBSERVATION ROOM, 16h49, two weeks and four days prior
"We got an earnest bunch this year. Or maybe just a very ambitious group." the principal stated. "Pratically none left even though we starved and exhausted them."

"Let´s not be so hasty. You barely told them a thing about what they are going face. Landmines, hidden buttons that reduce your health and many other traps. Heck you didn´t even mention what happens if you try to cooperate with other applicants. Not to mention the collection of "villains"." Hakuku Shibo commented.

"Yeah, gotta hand it to you, chief, you contacts are a real asset. First you managed to get UA to back us, and now you found a great roster of volunteers to help out in the exam." Senzai Sishi added.

"They´re probably just looking for connections to the UA themselves, though." Hakuku retorted. The detergent hero pouted.

"You don´t have to be that mean, Hakuku-senpai."

"Why are you adressing me by my first name?" wrath was seething from the redhair. Kojo Nasu raised her plant-like hands and gave a warm smile to both of them."

"Now, now, we can calm down. We´re here to observe an exam, after all. And regardless of their motives, the principal did work hard to get them to volunteer, and he found some pretty impressive people too. Like mr. Slippery!"

    Evasion Hero, Slippery
His "Slippery" quirk allows him to increase his slipperiness. He can squeeze out of the aplicant´s not yet fully tied ropes, pass through small cracks and although he swore not to do it on a applicant, he can even increase he slipperiness to the point of fully bipassing air, gaining a huge extra momentum in his moves due to the lack of air resistance.
    hot_slime_boy__by_unicornbunny12-d966q78.png

"He´s gonna be a problem, yeah, but I think Eletric Post is gonna cause the most applicants to not pass. He may even be the main cause they don´t. Still, if they are stupid enough to be caught in THAT, I´m sure they didn´t deserve to pass anyway." Hakuku replied. "He´s just gonna stay still and guard that building with piles and piles of mannequins, anyone who get into that building will basically be a mannequin themselves until the exam is over.

    Memory Hero, Eletric Post
Quirk, "Oblivion Field". His horns can generate an eletromagnetic field that interfieres with the sinapses in the brain, causing everyone in the field to forget the past two seconds, including their intentions, location, names, and every other consciously retained information plus one´s feelings from those past two seconds. These memories are not recoverable, so effectively however is caught in the field will be perfectly still and braindead until the field is dispersed or something pulls them out of it. The user himself is not affected, however the quirk can only be mantained if he moves at the maximum speed of a few inches per minute or stays perfectly still. Depending on how conductive the materials in one´s location are, the field can grow up to the size of a small skyscraper.
    10cd83926dfbc9481795af411034b405.jpg

"Since we´re talking about our volunteers, Joan D'arc´s armor is lovely." Hikari Shibo mentioned.

"Oh, yeah, that armor looks awesome!" Her best friend Senzai agreed. "I bet she´ll give a hard time even to those strength-ehancing applicants when she steps foward. Her quirk is simple, but very effective against anyone who tries to fight her in a direct way."

    Valiant Hero, Joan D'arc
Her quirk is "Blow Retort". It´s a shock absorbtion quirk that stores up up vibrations as tension in her arms. She can then release this tension by adding to the power of her blows. Due to her multilayer armor hero costume, she is quite resilient to even pro hero attacks, and quite capable of retaliating in a similar fashion. She only brought her party costume to the test today, and since it replaces some of the normal layer with frilly cloth, it seriously reduces the impact of her retorts. She won´t be blowing up a street anytime soon, therefore.
    warrior pink.jpg

"But if you try to ignore fighting altogether, you´ll get caught in Bombardment´s bombardment. Now that I think about, she really has a pretty redundant name, like Slippery´s. No wonder they´re a couple." Subliminal said through his robotic hero costume. "At least they´re apart for this exam though. He´ll be ambushing applicants who get careless, and she´ll be bombarding the way to the entrance while flying above it."

    Bombardment hero, Bombardment
Quirk, "draconic visage"! Her body has several properties of a dragon, including resistant scales, a tail, claws, a pair of usable wings, a maw with very sharp teeth, two horns and most importantly, she has a large pool of magma inside her stomach. This magma can be rapidly released from her palms, tail and mouth, effectively creating flaming meteor shower (however, the magma cools too fast outside her body to be actually flaming even, but it´s hot enough to cause some though burns).
    IMG_3194.JPG

"Speaking of redundant, are you gonna wear that thing even in here Subliminal?" Senzai asked.

"He´s got his own, personal reasons." The principal interviened before Subliminal could reply. "And since we´re already so far into the volunteers, there is one last one: Sentimental. She´s gonna be disguised as an applicant, increasing their hunger, thirst and exhaustion, in how much they feel them at least, and she´s also gonna use it to make the applicants feel hunger, thirst or exhaustion towards one another."

    Valentine´s Hero, Sentimental
Quirk, "Emotion Impulsion"! She can release a pheromone in the air that has no smell, taste or feeling and is invisble, however, it can increase someone´s emotions. She can control by how much, to the point of being able to make someone´s emotions become uncontrollable or obsessive or even change their target of the emotions, if she touches the person. She won´t be doing the firts however. She won´t be wearing her hero costume either, but will instead be disguised as an applicant. She does have pretty young looks to her, after all.

"And we could have even had more, but then we´d have too many "villains". Though, seeing how many applicants we had in reality, I wish we had been a bit more bold in how many volunteers we accepted." Doro Bukimina concluded.

"One hour, four large areas of debris full of traps and mannequins to find, plus the makeshift building which also contain mannequins. Speed can allow one to bring mannequins back quickly, intelligence gathering can help one find more mannequins buried deeper and avoid traps. Mobility can reach mannequins dropped in holes, stuck in roofs or even underground or in the deep puddles. Reach and brute strength can fight off some of the traps and will most certainly be essential elements in defeating some of the "villains". Cooperation with your fellow applicants can give you an edge in the exercises you have trouble with, but then you share the points if you deliver things together, and you get a little bonus for cooperation itself. And all of this combined with the discipline and strength of will necessary to bear the starvation, thirst and exhaustion that they came into this exam with. We ended up getting more candidates than expected, but I´d say they still have quite a challenge. Besides, limited resources are part of the essentials of natural selection. The most suited to get the mannequins will have more ease and should collect more points." The principal sighed and laid back. "It´ll have to do anyway. Let´s sit back and watch this now, show´s about to start."

EXAM SET, 17h00. two weeks and four days prior

    (Akacha´s POV)
I heard the alarm sound as the coordinators let us pass at last. Just as I was about to start running, two people with super speed quirks suddenly launched in front of me. Damm it! That was so cool, but I was also already left behind. Finding the mannequins first would probably be very important. Could my quirk be of use at all here? There didn´t seem to be any immediate advantage to merging with anything, and there were probably people with powerful combat quirks here, so getting into a fight with a "villain" and hoping that my healing could allow me to get close enough to use the rope was out of the question. Which meant, my only choices were either relying on luck or trying to find someone to cooperate with me.

I was not about to leave it all to chance though.

I looked around, trying to see if anyone else also seemed at a loss or seemed friendly enough to let me work with them.

In room then leaving his orphanage
10:00 Am
Sleeping in as late as possible was always nice before the beginning of the next level of school however....the beeping of an alarm clock ran through his room which caused the large boy's ears to twitch at the sudden noise, moving around in his sheets as he slowed sat up as he yawned loudly. The boy then got up as he stretched out his back, arms and legs as he rubbed something that had been in his eyes in which he walked over the mirror that was in his room before he suddenly stared at himself, a large shark-like grin edged directly into his face while he slowly placed his fist onto the glass where his fist began to glow where he destroyed the mirror. The name of this boy was Kuma Bersuseruku, a boy who was going to PSA and hoping to be one of the top heroes in this world.

Grabbing a pair of black socks, baggy jeans, compression-shorts and a black tank-top before he had headed to get a hot shower to wake up. Kuma relaxed as hot water washed away all of the sweat he had gained from sleeping as it was pretty hot in his house, grabbing a towel to wash off the water from the shower while putting on his clothes. He then grabbed his house keys and wallet before he left out of the door and locked it, smiling to himself where he began to travel to get some breakfast and maybe even go shopping.

Breakfast Restaurant
11:45 Am

Kuma had begun to head down to find someplace that had some good food for his hungry belly, rubbing it as his gut had then let out a loud growl which made him rubbed harder. He looked around as the street began to get more and more people coming into the block he was in as people walked by him as he walked himself through the now newly formed crowd easily as the crowd moved out of his way. Kuma then saw a sign for a restaurant as he entered with a blank face before he found himself a seat, grabbing a menu until another growl ran through his being...and the rest of the restaurant. Raising a hand as he called over a waitress as he said "2 of everything on the menu except the soup....please." A gasp come out of her mouth and the surprise look appeared on the girl's face where she began to stutter loudly asking if he was absolutely sure about this and this was responded with a slow nod by Kuma.

Akiara hummed to herself as she trotted down the road. It was about a mile to the supermarket, but she didn't mind. Time to escape the family and try and be normal for a minute or two. Her humming was annoying to a few people around her, but Aki didn't seem to notice or care. "She played the fiddle in an irish band, but she fell in love with and english man~!" She ang softly under her breath. This wasn't too bad, but a bit off key as she was suddenly delighted. That tune was still being hummed as she added a little skip to her step.

It felt nice to feel the breeze and try to ignore the freaky events of the entrance exam... That was a bit odd, and she'd left the place more confused than before. Best not to think about that right now.

"She played the fiddle in an irish band, but she fell in love with an english man!" She sang a lot better, grinning from ear to ear. Someone gave her a weird look, and as soon as they passed her she threw her voice to whisper right in his ear. No importance to what it was, she just heard his panicked footsteps and weird little breathing halt. The grocery store was right to her left and Akiara tried to pull herself together. It didn't work and she spent the mini trip randomly bouncing up a bit until she needed something that she couldn't reach.

"Uh, excuse me, could I get through?" Akiara asked the girl (Riba) who was standing in front of the milk area. She looked really familiar and Akiara tilted her head a bit with a small frown. "Hey... Do you go to Central Middle?" She asked in confusion. Apparently Akiara thought that everyone that looked familiar went to her old school. "And, uh, did you fall?"

Sei Ichiyama & Hilbert Allegretti
Time: 12:01 P.M
Location: A local park
Upon arriving to a local park, both Sei and Hilbert would do some warm-up exercises such as stretching and push-ups. Sei would perform push-ups while Hilbert would do some sit-ups. Their goal was to do at least a hundred by the time they become pro heroes. They weren't performing outrageous training but to them it was fine.

"One....two....three..." Sei would do his best to do at least ten push-ups. He would be having a hard time once he reached past fifteen and ended up to the ground at around seventeen.

"Oof..." Hilbert would look to Sei and hand him a bottle of water. "Good job Sei-kun. Seventeen. You already went past sixteen!"

"I guess. Honestly I hoped to have at least gone past eighteen Hilbert-san." Sei would feel a disappointed that he couldn't have gone further but hides that feeling by talking like usual.

"You know you don't have to call me san. Also don't let it get to you man. To get real results you're gonna be met with minimal growth at first." He would put his hand on Sei's shoulder. "We both promised each other that we would work hard to become pro heroes. Now c'mon let's go do some running."

"Alright let's go." He would nod along with a small smile and the two would proceed to begin with a brisk run at the park. Their training would only pick up from here. Since they were young kids, the two would often find themselves at the park in order to do some running and other forms of exercise. They would start with the simple stuff for warm-up and worked themselves afterwards. While the training was not hardcore training that athletes regularly did, for these two it was a real workout. They would come home tired and exhausted.

Streets Headed A Park
12:00
Walking through the streets of this town, it was rather annoying that he just couldn't use his quirk to get around because he did move rather fast and he could jump pretty high but the laws decide that it wasn't allowed to use your quirk unless it was self-
defense. Kuma then got a idea, heading a park and using his quirk would be for the best as he had to get in his daily training either way plus he had to burn off his food.

He entered a park as he cracking his neck, rolling his shoulders as he began to stretch out his body fully so he pull something....Pulled muscles always sucked after all. Bouncing on the balls of his feet as he walked over to a path where no one was there before he began to jog which then turned into a run before it turned into a sprint until he activated his Quirk and bursting forth as he ran hard. Unknown to him, Sei Ichiyama and Hilbert Allegretti felt a sudden draft of air as Kuma ran around but he almost hit Sei as he yelled "I Apologize for that, Sir!" Managing to keep pace before he launched himself as fast as he could go down the path.

Sei Ichiyama & Hilbert Allegretti
Time: 12:05 P.M
Location: A local park
It had not been for long before Sei had almost been hit by a large running figure. Both of them felt that draft.

"We're ok," the two said in unison.

"You ok man? Also...Holy cow did you see that Sei-kun?!" Hilbert couldn't believe what he had just witnessed. That sort of speed is amazing. Perhaps this person was training too? While they were wondering about the figure that had just ran past them, the two would take a small break before resuming their running.

"Yeah I did. Pretty fast. Almost gave me a heart attack anyways... Time to continue," Sei said as the two began running. "You know I didn't get a good glimpse but I think the guy that went past us looked pretty large."

"Yeah I have to admit I didn't get much of a good glimpse either. But if he was that fast I'd have to assume he had like a muscle enhancement quirk or something. That was pretty fast. Makes me wonder if it was a quirk to enhance his speed than muscles. Hmm..."

"Careful there. You might end up go on a tangent again." The two would continue their run. As they did the two would continue on making conversation.

"So... we're heading to the academy in three days." Sei would wonder what lies in wait for them once the day would come. To arrive at a new school and train to become pro heroes. It just seems all too strange to him now that the day is nearing.

"Yeah. It's amazing how near it is toward that date. We'll be going to that new hero school and learn to become pro heroes. It's like... what can I say... It's like I'm dreaming but not dreaming at the same time. Do you get what I mean Sei-kun?"

"Umm... no," he does not know what Hilbert meant.

"Well it's like this. You know lucid dreaming? Well imagine that you're lucid dreaming and that it's so lucid to the point that it's real. How about that?"

"Mmmm.... I think I get it but not really." Grasping what Hilbert means at times proves a bit difficult for Sei.

"Well that's fine. Honestly I'm pretty nervous here. I don't even know what's going to happen to us. It's so exciting and worrisome at the same time."

The two would have similar feelings of excitement and worry. Hilbert had dreamt of this day since the day he swore to become a hero as did Sei. This would be a very big step for the two as they promised to not back out from this. There was no turning back once they would head to the school three days later. For now they would continue running.

"Yup, I don´t care what they say, nothing beats a big bucket of Kentucky fried chicken... Ok, maybe a bigger buckets does. Oh, now I´m hungry again..." I simply stated, rubbing my half-exposed belly before reaching into the bucket and pulling out five more bites. I stuffed them into my mouth, the little ends still sticking out of my crammed mouth, as I pushed my limits to chew it slowly. truly the digestion begins in one´s mouth.
I decided to take the same route I had been lately. It was a very fun place to walk by, I got to play with a couple of friends sometimes. Alex was kind of cool, and Kazehime was adorable too... I wondered if they were around? Going through the park towards a small set of buildings, just outside of it, then a turn and I would be there. The park´s trees reminded me a bit of the forest I lived in for a while, being surrounded like that, made me want to go a little wild. I held myself back, however, I didn´t want to drop my fried chicken after all. Still, in every bench I could almost see a reflection of that old run down house that no had taken residence in in what I could only assume was decades. Or maybe I was remembering it wrong. Memories could be a tricky thing sometimes. I knew the smell at least completely different though. There were several scents, plants, dejects, several people, ice creams of various flavors, vending machine foods and drinks, even some great smelling things like those popcorn thing and the dorayaki... I wish I could have some dorayaki. But I couldn´t. I knew I couldn´t even as I headed to small stall set up near the street at the entrance of the park, where I sneaked next to the line and just stared as the man served the sweet with that great smelling chocolate thing inside it. Fried-chiken flavored drool was dripping from my mouth, if I only my quirk didn´t make me seek from eating those things, I would be in paradise today! I stuffed some more fried chiken pieces into my mouth until it was swollen like a squirl´s, noticing with sorrow that they were somehow already ending.

    *sniff* *sniff**sniff*

I felt a tickling sensation near my legs, and my tail raised up by instinct. I turned around, already suspecting what it might be and finding my suspicions confirmed. I turned and just stared below to the dog that had just made a point of smelling my point. I awaited like so, in a silent stare for almost a quarter of a minute, before showing a glee smile (my mouth still full of kentuky fried chiken) and moving behind that dog, sniffing it myself. It wasn´t a very good smell. They were either about to do something, or they already had. I croched down to the dog, and titled my head with a smile, bits of biten chicken flying off my mouth as I spoke:
"Do you want to play? I have chicken. Oh... " Only then did I notice the long string that held the dog and someone else together. I followed the line closely to however was at it´s end, and ended up faced with this girl with long black hair. She was thin, but judging by the lines of her body she was one of those types that is far stronger than they look. In fact she even seemed a little familiar... It was probably nothing, though. Maybe just someone I bumped into in the park or sidewalk or vending machine... Nonetheless, I gave her a smile too.

"I´m Konui Sakana, nice to meet you." I said, raising a hand as a greeting, but then proceeding to immediately turn back to the dog and croch near it again. I wondered if it was of the playful type.

Lex Kagame
??? Street 12:14

Lex walked around in circles, how long had he been lost? He was starting to get hungry and standing around wasn't gonna solve that. He looked over to his far left and saw a dog with a leash, he guessed the owner was close so he started walking towards it. To his disappointment the dog was by itself, probably a lost dog, he thought. He slowly approached the dog only to have it run off into an alley.

12:20
He chased after the dog for two blocks before coming upon a park, finally he was somewhere he recognized. The famished boy dashed towards a nearby hotdog stand, filled with joy. The boy ordered three hotdogs and walked over to a nearby bench. He sighed in relief, having just been lost ten minutes ago. He looked around and marveled at the beauty of the park, huge trees, plenty of wildlife...and some dogs running towards him. Wait, dogs? And among them the dog he had found earlier. He stuffed his mouth with as many of the hotdogs as he could and took off on a sprint, so much for a break.

SHIMIZU, LIÁN
xD0cUl0.jpg
12:10 P.M.

Lián had let the dog roam with herself following closely behind, tugging on the leash if need be, such as whenever he got too close to someone to sniff their leg. The walk turned out to be quite peaceful, the girl was thankful she had yet to deal with any unwanted strangers. The dog was susceptible to people wanting to pet his soft and luscious, white fur, Lián couldn't blame them. But having to stop every 5 minutes just for random visitors to get their kick out of patting a dog? God, was that annoying. All she wanted to do was walk the damn dog, not set up shop for a petting zoo. Good thing that the bitch face helped keep them away from herself and Fushi.

Blowing hair from her face, she pulls out her phone and browses her Twitter feed for a good 5 minutes. She retweets memes and the occasional pictures of beautiful beaches and endless blue skies, oh how she longed that she could have done something like travel and enjoy the sands and oceans of a foreign land. She admires the beauty of her own profile, appreciating the mixture of casual comic relief along with the aesthetics. It was in this moment when she realized that the leash had gone slack, and a feminine figure was loomed over her little Spitz, Fushi.

Knitting her brows together, she looks down at the intruder, noticing the regurgitating smell of fried chicken. Immediately she moves to cover her nose with the sleeve of her sweater. Fushi, the cute energetic dog he was, was a proud recipient of the new playmate. He lets out a playful bark and wags his tail rapidly. Lián, on the other hand, was not so happy about the interloper. Before she goes to say anything, however, the feminine furry figure acknowledges Lián's presence, before going back to playing with the dog. She scowls and tugs the leash, pulling the dog (gently) away from Koinu.

"Uh, what do you think you're doing? I didn't give you permission to go and try and.. find pleasure in frolicking with my dog."
