Cook of the Thousand Sunny
"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you just have to find it!" The famous last words of Gold Roger, the king of pirates on the day of his execution. The day the lopped of his head was supposed to be the end of the great pirate era, but those words sparked a whole new generation of pirates who wanted to claim the time of king of the pirates for themselves. Pirates from every corner of the world searched the four seas and the grand line to find Rogers treasure, but none ever managed, either they gave up their search or fell prey to the navy or a rival pirate, even those once considered emperors of the seas never managed to find it.

That was 50 years ago, most have given up hope of ever finding the one piece, even some of the major pirates in the world, they would rather yearn for stability or look for treasure else where, after all there is treasure all over the world for the taking, the pirate kings treasure couldn't be that much more than what the rest of the world had to offer. So the one piece faded from the minds of pirates and was only mentioned in whispers and in stories to discourage pirates from finding it. However some young idiots still had hope and continued searching, or grew up with the hopes that they would one day set out on their own journey as pirates to find it.

Now rumors have been spreading across the seas that on an island in the west blue someone has found a clue to the location of the one piece. Many speculated and thought that it could have been something that a member of Gold Roger's crew left behind to help the new age of pirates on their journey, but many also though that it was a waste of time, as they believed that the one piece didn't really exist.

The Business district on a group of islands known as the Wynlem Archipelago was bust in the early morning, many people were out buying their weekly necessities early in the morning. The Business district made up one of the four main islands that was considered the Wynlem Achipelgo, and it contained not only shopping centers but also many of the main facilities that made up the infrastructure of the islands. it was known largely to be a gathering point and the central point of the four islands. The next island over was the Residential district, the area where most folks who didn't live in their stores lived, and was fairly comparable in side. Next to that was the smallest island, the Navy Base, where the navy stationed troops to watch over the entrance to the grand line, it also contains a small prison. The furthest from the navy base and on the other side of the Business district was the slums another smaller island that hosted the poor folks, that couldn't afford the luxury of the residential district, and some rather unsavory people.

Sat in a small bar on the corner of one street was a man chugging back his second cup of booze. It was barely even noon, the bar also served as a restaurant so most of its day time patrons didn't drink, so this man got some weird looks from those sat around him eating. He finished off the second cup and slammed it down on the counter, "Hey bar keep, get me another one" he said. The man behind the counter was dressed in a rather classy shirt and tie, and looked rather displeased to having someone drinking in his establishment so early, but despite this he began to fill another glass with what the man had been drinking. "Say barkeep, do you get many travelers passing through here?" The man sitting at the counter asked as he began to drink his third cup. "Yes, now more than ever it seems with all these crazy rumors going around" He answered, the man looked up from his glass and smiled. "Ya don't say, well then, if one were to be looking into such rumors where might I start?" he asked.

The man walked down the street with a piece of paper in his hand, the paper had some different locations written on it, most were in the slums but the docks and other key areas were also mentioned. "So another bar in the slums, a gangs base, a few shipwright places that pirates frequent, and a few other places" he said to himself, "Seems like everyone has heard the rumors but no one knows anything on where to find out more about them" he said. The man wore a grey short sleeved button up shirt with two buttons undone and a pair of shorts. His short light brown hair moved and the slight wind and his brown eyes scanned around the streets as he was walking. Over all one might assume he looked like a normal person, but the scars above his left eye and below his right eye, the tattoos on his arm, and his piercings, along with the rather displeased look on his face mad him look like some kind of edgy thug. It also didn't help that his face was plastered on wanted posters, but he doubted that they would have been circulating here in the west blue, after all he was last seen on the grand line.

This man was Kenji Saito, former member of the Hornigold Pirates and soon to be captain of his own crew. Well that's what he told himself anyways but he actually hadn't yet found anyone to join his crew. That was one of his main reasons for being here after all, he wished to start his own pirate crew and he hoped that people would be drawn to this island like he was in search of clues on the one piece. He did find one thing strange though, despite the fact that there were rumors going around about the one piece on these islands the near by navy base hadn't seemed to make any moves as of yet, they were still present, but no more so than any other island with a navy base. It concerned him for sure but it could just be that they decided to take action behind the scenes as to not cause panic. Kenji was also far from stupid, even though he could be quite the idiot sometimes, so he didn't advertise he was a pirate to everyone he met, nor did he exactly hide it, for now he just kept his eye out for anyone who seemed like they might know something, while also heading to check out the places mentioned.

Natalia Kuzmin
Zarya.png"Thanks for the ride, comrade," Natalia said in her thick Russian-like accent. She placed a hand on the sailor's shoulder. "May you find what you need and have a safe trip home."

She scooped up her large camping backpack, stuffed with clothes and cooking utensils, and swung the straps around her muscular shoulders. "Tell the kids I made it here safely," she added, stepping off the civilian vessel with a smile and a wave.

Her tone of voice could make it sound like she was talking about her own biological kids; but she didn't have any, she was really talking about the kids at the orphanage back on Ringmania (a North Blue island.) As an orphan herself, those kids were the closest thing to family that she had. They looked up to her like a big sister; sometimes she was the closest thing to a mother that they had. This whole trip was for them. Her wrestling winnings were a big help to the institution, but if she could find Roger's treasure, they'd be set up for a couple lifetimes, at least that's what she hoped.

Standing on the dock in a black hoodie, athletic shorts, and sneakers; the muscular blonde looked more like a tourist than a potential pirate. "Where to begin?" she asked herself. Her warm, blue eyes scanned the docks. She spotted a sign for a local shipwright. It seemed like a good place to start.

Stepping inside, she spotted a man behind the counter and could hear the muffled sound of shipwrights at work coming through the wall behind him. "Good morning, friend," she said as she approached. With her 6'5" stature, she was slightly taller than him.

She rested an elbow on the counter. "With the One Piece rumors, business is booming, yes? Have you heard about any new crews forming? Specifically ones in need of a cook?" She grinned confidently and pointed to herself. "I may not look like a chef, but if my cooking was side-by-side with your mother's, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference."

Roach

A bright and beautiful day. It was the sort of day Roach loved and made him love life. The sort of day where under better circumstances he'd love to lay down in a hammock and drink ice tea. It was interesting seeing it from 30ft under the ocean he thought. He thought about how nice it must be for fishmen and merfolk to be able to relax down here, happy and safe. But ultimately the view wasn't for him; it belonged to the rightful denizens of the sea. Speaking of rightful denizens of the sea, he really had to find a way to deal with the giant squid that was currently trying to drag him into its den.

He knew he couldn't fight it, he couldn't break free from its tight grasp, and guitars didn't play well underwater. This really was quite a pickle. He estimated his breath would only last another minute. That meant there was only one thing he could try. He mentally apologised to the squid for what he was about to do, before quickly blowing into its gills. Oxygen, when passed through a fish's gill, is poisonous. The squid panicked and flailed, and Roach slipped free from its grasp and swam rapidly towards the surface.

His head broke the surface in unfamiliar water, but thankfully he wasn't stranded miles from land, but close to the coast of an unknown island. Roach swam to shore and collapsed onto the hot white sand and breathed. Thankfully all his singing had given him strong lungs. He stood up and pulled some seaweed from his hair. Unfortunately, he failed to notice the starfish that had lodged itself deep within his tangle of hair which had decided that it didn't care if it was the head of a musician and not a kelp bush and was going to live there anyway.

Now he just had to find where he was. He headed into the bustling district and got out his guitar from its thankfully waterproof case. He found a place to sit on the side of a busy road, laid down his case to collect money and began to play a new song the whole experience had made him think up, entitled 'Squid's Garden'.

How long had she been floating? When did this entire ordeal begin? Would it ever end? Was she even still alive?. The moment of lucidity was fleeting as she broke through the pain to bind her mind to some coherent thought, time as a concept difficult to grasp on to without any certain context clues as to its passing on top of the sensation of the inferno making recalling her memories difficult enough let alone keeping track of such. She could feel the coldness of the sea waters as the tides and currents dragged her ever onwards, it's salt lick at wounds that were not permitted to close and the violet flames that burst forth from its touch to an ever-renewing agony both inside and out with the fluid in her lungs, but still, she refused to die.

The darkness came and went, be it from her body falling too far below the waves for the light to reach from above or simply the night sky, flickering from the eyes that could not close from the sight despite wishes to, but still, she needed to endure, she needed to hope and most importantly of all she needed to remember.

The ordeal had likely begun when she broke free from the false reality that had been contained within since birth, rejecting the wonderland and in turn finding just how deep the rabbit hole went in a fall that may never have actually stopped. For all she knows this pain was simply the final moments in a twisted sensation before she eventually ceases to be, or perhaps this was what had been awaiting her after? No...no she was alive, she could feel it, because she refused. Her head-turning slightly in refusal and feverish thoughts.

She refused to go gently into the good night, so she burns and rave, and rage against the attempts at the death of her dying light. The wise may have thought the dark was right, but if her words and deeds forked no lightning? No, she would not go gentle into that good night. She would not wave goodbye, cry at how bright, her deeds might have danced in a green bay but still she would rage against the dying of her light. In the end, as much as that woman had tried her heart was wild, to try to break her had her instead met rejection on the deepest sense, she dreamed to catch and sing the sun in flight, but she knew that would grieve its way and carry her gently into the good night. Maybe that was it though, a grave woman near death would finally see that blinding sight, with blind eyes to the false as she raged against the dying of the light. So Curse, bless her now with fierce tears, pray, fight, as she stood so close to that good night forever raging against the dying of the light. There would always be a light for her somewhere it may not be much lighter, but it beats the darkness, she had forced her heart and nerve and sinew To serve her turn long after they had gone to hold on when there was nothing in her, her life was her life and it would never be clubbed into dank submission by knowers scared of what they don't know, controllers of what they can't control.

The thoughts were shattered as Jane found herself floating for a moment, not within the waters but air as she drifted from consciousness, materializing within the ruins of a settlement, not unlike the one she previously called home, though with an explosion of light the towering buildings and corridors were sent flying outwards leaving only fragments within a green cloud-filled sea with islands of alleyways or rooms scattered in fragments. A broken world, a fractured reality that nevertheless continued to be and suspended by some unknown element, where was she? What is this place? What on earth happened here?.

Starting to move through cracked cobbled streets and past collapsed walls she can't help but take on the sight, walking through darkened tunnels before coming to a shattered floor between here and the rest of the path, peering over into a cloud-filled sea below that seems to descend forever from green to blue. So was this a dead end? No there must be some logic behind what she's seeing so reason she's standing here and with that line of thought, the glimmer of an ethereal purple cloud seemed to be leading across the gap and onwards as if leading her. Nodding to herself slowly she takes a leap over the fall to narrowly make it to the other side, needing to quicken her pace to keep up with the cloud through the twists and turns of the environment that was becoming almost maze-like, climbing up rubble of collapsed rooms that seemed familiar, out of the colorful and into the grey stone.

Where was this taking her? Was she getting close? This had better start making some sense soon..though no sooner as she had thought she was brought to her knees in a bout of burning pain, working to stand again though as she came to the door and stumbling through best she could see a sight within.

A Woman within a white dress with a wide smile upon her face holding onto a swing as they gently sway back and forth within an idyllic park, the smell of fresh-cut grass and wind blowing the hair makes the scene a pleasant one though before it can last there is a stuttering to the vision, the flickering of an unseen light as its replaced with another. Now instead of a swing being held the woman is instead held up by the wrists in a multitude of thick chains, instead of the soft breeze a bitter cold draft across dank stone flooring covered in dull browns and wet crimson, the screen flickering between the two as a pain in Janes head only grows as she takes a few steps forward in confusion.

Some part of her didn't want to go any further but there was no escaping it, the fantasy fading away to dark reality before eventually, the path seems to continue on with the vanishing of the chained woman just as another individual had been stepping into view with a cart and ending the scene before more could be viewed. She remembered now, she shouldn't be alive...something happened, she fought and lost, she fell yet she had ended up in that room?. The last thing she remembered was immense pain and a feeling that everything was lost, what was it trying to tell her in this room? What does it even mean?...she would need to work with what she had, but what exactly did she have?. Can she trust what she sees and experiences in here? It would be nice to have someone to talk to...to make sense of things, but she will need to stay pragmatic and be realistic, it's up to her to make sense of it. Making her way onward the ruins continued and her mind wandered as she let her body move on its own, she wondered what was happening outside this place, there must have been others but try as she might recall them all the faces seemed out of focus, what happened to them? Did they end up in chains as well….or did they never take the steps that led to that?, There are so many questions...but it seems like she would need to find the answers on her own. There was ... reality to this place that made it feel… more tangible than any dream, like it was important. The more ruined structures she saw, the more she lept and moved onwards down familiar floating streets ever onwards, it was curious, she was starting to get a vague sense of the place but it still puzzled her, it must have a purpose...a meaning. Several more rooms appeared on her way each with their own scenes alternating between happy bliss and one far grimmer, and each time she was drawn to the later as if that was the truth no matter how much it hurt to accept.

A colorful nursery playground turned to a dim empty room with several other children in loose ragged clothing, A plentiful table with candy turned from oak to metal with the sweets now some form of the congealed gray bar in each occupants hands, a playground becoming an industrial series of pipes being cleared or crates being pushed.

This place gave her something to focus on she knew that now, leaving her pained body behind for a while at least while pushing her to go further, but the sites as troubling as they were both reminding and preparing her for something. She had a feeling it would not be easy, but she was not one to back away from a challenge, she doesn't think she ever was, maybe that was the reason she ended up where she was? But even if she would wake from this place, she was lost in the grueling sea...perhaps it was better to stay?. No, she needed to leave and return to reality, she needed perseverance and to find some strength to keep going.

The final sight she saw, however, was a hint of green among the ruined stone, and she realized wherever she was...there was life here, vines clinging to the ruins and grass starting to grow among the rubble, it was at once both life and death, old and new...was this a sign or a message, what did it mean?. With her next step towards it however she saw a figure far more clearly than the other faces, one that was not her own but someone staring, a stern face of a blond woman in white military-style garb holding a cane and staring into her, lips parting as if to speak yet before she could hear the words the ground gave way and she was falling. The islands above becoming smaller by the second as the wind rushed by at increasing speed with her decent and a turn of her head starting to make out the water below ...but still the fall was feeling like an eternity. Though even as she fell she didn't hold fear for the impact that was to come, she was content in a way with the sensation of falling, of letting gravity take over with just the rush as she traveled.

*Sometime Later*

Back within reality however a fate would finally free her from their watery confinement, a large fishing vessels net catching more than it expected with several of the crew staring confused at the purplish flame sputtering out admist a mountain of fish deposited within its hold which was only later discovered to be a the body of a young girl much to the shock of those aboard. It appeared to be a relatively short woman, maybe in her late teens or early twenties or if genetics had been kinder than her current state even more, though given the widely curved figure and toned muscle it was entirely in the realm of possibilities that they had. Skin, pale and cold like marble cold her face is almost content for the moment, a river of blonde hair splayed out behind her and over the deck of the ship in a tangled mess, brittle locks, dull, tangled and rough. Covered in wounds and burns, one of the strangest features hidden below but strangely still vibrant though there is a long myriad of red markings snaking across her form. What followed was a rapid series of debates over what to do, some wishing to simply toss the body overboard while others a respectful burial back on land, what stopped this discussion however was the small movements revealing the body to still be alive with the rationalisation there breathing and pulse had simply been too shallow to notice initially. In either case they decided to simply make them comfortable until they arrived on shore before passing them off to the local healer.

It was now that Jane herself finally stopped falling, the islands visible above still just before she was hitting the water wherever she had been plummeting towards, yet instead of the cold wetness or impact on falling into such she was instead awoken to see herself rising once more from such as the world shifts to an unknown sight. A bright white light broke through the window of a stark white room, her form within a similar white bed that she would discover to be the Wynlem Doctors office. She sat in the otherwise empty room in silence, Was it over? Had she paid the price for her freedom? Her actions that feel like a lifetime ago had planted the tree, through blood and tears was it watered to flourish so that at this moment...may she sit in its shade?. The relief at the experience so euphoric she couldn't speak and for a moment she really wondered if it was real or if she had finally given up to the darkness without realizing it though deep down the reality could not be denied. Still there would bne more time for such thoughts later, for now? she had to establish where she was and how to start to move forward.

So she was now in a infirmary with neigh to her name she held some skills that could be useful to look on the bright side, regardless of what occurs she stands only to gain compared to her previous situation. Her services in the medical profession could have value to individuals, perhaps use them initially to repay whomever had given her the hospitality of saving them. Other than this skill she was unsure what else she could offer, she was not exactly experienced in anything other than the structured life of her home island so life outside this would be new, a willingness and ability to learn fast was desirable naturally, same with many other abilities so for the moment her mind alone would need to do. She was not precisely wishing to use her other experiences in suffering even if she could she think of ones outside of a living meat shield or sacrificial lamb, neither of which were exactly appealing prospects nor were they ones she would willingly accept.

*Weeks Later*

The time had been kind to her since waking at the Doctors, perhaps the karmic table was finally tilting the other way though she couldnt help but feel it may not last. A somewhat confused discussion with the perplexed man and the various medical impossabilities followed, then a barganing in exchange for further aid and repaying that which had already been provided. This was how she had found herself walking the street through the town, she had been working as a nurse of sorts under the other doctors name until she would be able to save the funds needed for passage to the next island, and until she could gather more information on the strange story that seemed to grasp the town in rumors of a distant piece. Her benefactor had been adamant at not accepting anything directly but he eventually relented as the girls stubborness at settling the debt was as unnatural as the rest of her.

What a beautiful day in the Wynlem Archipelago, the sun is high in the sky and there's not a cloud in sight. Indigo walked down the crowded street whistling a mindless tune with his eyes closed, not paying attention to any of his surroundings. His eye patch warmed his face and the clinking of the items in his bag followed him wherever he went. He had been on the island for three days so far, yet today felt like a special one, almost as if fate was calling to him. Well, who was he to deny fate a meeting? He grabbed the cane at his side at started twirling it in his hands with a single finger. "Now then, how should I start this day?" Indigo wondered to himself. He flipped the cane into the air and did a quick flip before holding his hand out and the cane landing perfectly in it. There was a quick pause before Indigo looked at his hand and said "Where did I get this cane? I did not have this a minute ago." Then in this distance, he could hear an old man shouting "Help! Someone took my walking stick!" Crap! He throws the cane somewhere in the crowd and quickly darts into an alleyway a couple minutes away.

Katie Shay
Bang... Bang... Bang... The sound of a hammer hitting an iron nail filled the air, though it wasn't the only sound that filled the air. Saws carving their way through wood, the thunk of logs being dropped on top of a pile of more logs and boards, and the sounds of men chatting and grunting as they moved around with heavy objects, all the common sounds that you heard in ship yard at this time of day. Up on a ladder, currently driving the nail in was the only girl that was seen around the ship yard regularly, the bosses daughter, Katie Shay. Currently she was working on a new ship that was suppose to be a passenger ship, it was around half ways done but the buyer kept making outrageous demands for things to be added so their progress was slowed a bunch, honestly she just wanted to finish up as quickly as possible. As she finished nailing she seen one of her fellow ship wrights waving to her with some papers in hand.

"Hey Katie, mind taking these to your dad, they are a new set of requests from the marines, the base is ordering a few more ships after some run in with pirates" He said, "Yeah sure, I'll head over there now" She said. The girl was dressed in a crop top and shorts, a rather provocative outfit in a sense but even so not a single man there looked at her that way. Sure they were all afraid if they did hit on her that they would lose their jobs, her being the bosses daughter and all, but more so they respected her as a colleague, and she would probably also kick the shit out of them if they made any sort of remark. She began to walk across the yard to the main building where her father had been doing some office work. Her muscles gleamed of sweet in the sun and her shoulders had begun to get a little red from the sun burn.

She walked in through the back entrance of the building and heard someone talking, though the voice caught her off guard, a very strange accent to hear in these parts, and a woman's voice on top of that. "With the One Piece rumors, business is booming, yes? Have you heard about any new crews forming? Specifically ones in need of a cook?" The woman said. The man behind the counter was Katie's father, who had been looking at some papers when the woman had walked in, he glanced up at her quickly not taking any more than a second to look at her before looking back down at his papers. "I don't know what your talking about ma'am, Haven't heard any rumors nor do I know anything about pirates, also my mother wasn't a good cook" He said. Katie walked out from the back room, "Weren't you just saying this morning that you didn't like all the trouble that those rumors were bringing" Katie said as she looked up at the much taller woman, she gave her a little smile before looking back at her father and handing him the papers in her hand. "Marines are ordering a few more ships" She said, he father nodded as he took the papers and added them to a pile of paper work to his side. "Sorry about him" Katie said looking at the woman, "he can tend to be a bit rude, and he doesn't like talking about pirates, attracts the wrong kind of marine attention even though pirates supply our business" Katie said, to which her father sighed in disapproval and just shook his head. "Come on, I know where some guys hang out that might know something, I'll take you there" She said to the woman before heading to the door, "I'm taking the rest of the day off Dad" She said and her dad gave her a wave as if he was only half paying attention while reading through paperwork.

Natalia Kuzmin
Zarya.pngNatalia arched an eyebrow. She wasn't sure if the shipwright man was messing with her or not. The mother's cooking analogy was usually accurate. Wait...how has he not heard the One Piece rumors?

A muscle-toned young woman walked in from the backroom and it all became clear.

"That's understandable," she said. Pirates don't have the best reputation after all. She'd have to feel out any potential captains; She didn't want to join up with anyone who'd intentionally hurt innocent children.

"Thanks. I appreciate it," Natalia replied, before following after Katie. After walking a couple feet, she attempted to start some chit-chat.

"The name's Natalia Kuzmin, or Mama Bear, as I'm called in wrestling circles," she held out a hand, trying to initiate a handshake. "Where do you stand on the whole One Piece thing?" she asked. "Personally, I think it's out there somewhere, but I don't expect the rumors to lead me straight there."

It wasn't going to be an easy journey, but it would be worth it once she saw the smiling faces of the orphans back home. If she could get her hands on some of Roger's treasure, the orphanage would practically be set for life.

The boy slammed against the sand with no small amont of force, scrambling to push himself up. Glaring up at his aggressors only to gasp out as a boot came down and forced him against the beach below once more.

"Come on Riley," one of the burly men above sighed while rubbing at his eye-patch "Ya try this crap every other week, you ain't getting into the Cove."

The boy struggled against the superior strength of the boot holding him down for a while before gasping out in defeat and gritting his teeth, "I just wanna see Yoro! Ever since those rumors started up she hasn't-!"

The boot pressed down harder, squeezing the air out of him as the man above wagged a meaty finger next to his head, "We ain't lettin' no Marine lads into that Cove, we got us understandings on how things work around here. We don't go triflin' in each other's territory, boy. Be a real shame if this whole island went up in a tizzy just 'cause ya can't control ya'self."

"B-But I'm not a Marine!" Riley called out desperately, "I haven't even talked to my bro since he joined!"

"Mr. Covington don't like taking risks, so of course we ain't takin' em either." The man reached down as he took his boot off Riley, only to yank him off the ground before rearing back. His head slammed against Riley's with enough force to render the boy unconscious, right before he was tossed over the large man's shoulder as he gave a gesture to the other man.

Without words, the two men began wandering along the beach with Riley. Not long after they started their walk, the one carrying the unconscious boy grumbled to himself before using his free hand to pull out a pack of cigarettes. It was as he turned to offer one to his colleague that he noticed something in the distance. Beyond the waves of the beach, a single ship was approaching. It was small, only slightly bigger than the average row boat. But besides its size was the sheer amount of wear and tear that it had. The thing looked as if it had been through several storms and a battle, bringing question as to how exactly it was managing to stay afloat. But despite how battered the vessel was, its soul occupant seemed nonplussed. Standing at the front of the weathered ship, a single woman held out a piece of paper before her and was sketching on it with a joyful hum as the ship drew near.

Behind the piece of paper the two men could see flowing pink hair trailing behind her, the humming cutting out as she finally lowered it. Aqua eyes peaked out over the paper before she rolled it up and gleaming smile that was visible even over such a distance. As the ship was on the last leg of its journey, she bounded away to grab a carry bag and pink coat which she threw on just before the ship was stopped by the shallow waters it had entered. Without even hesitating, the woman hopped off before stuffing the paper into her bag and skipping towards the men with her hand waving in greeting.

"Hey hey!" she called out "You locals? Cuz' I could definitely use some showing around! Unless-"

She glanced towards the very clearly unconscious boy they had with them and nodded towards him, "You're busy with something? Is the lil' guy okay?"

The man carrying him grumbled, "He's-"

"Oh he's just fine!" the Man's partner stepped in between them before giving Riley a pat on the head "Just went and made a mess of himself. We know where to leave him, after we'd be more than willing to help a lovely lass like you find your way around, Dolly."

His partner raised an eyebrow as the girl gasped with glee and clasped his hands in hers before shaking them vigorously, "Oh thank you, thank you!" she chirped adjusting her coat as he led her down the beach.

The man carrying Riley rolled his eyes before chuckling and licking his lips, "Well, guess we do deserve a lil' break after all." he muttered under his breath as he followed after them.

Hanzo Ushimaru
Han walked down the streets of the poor district on the Wynlem Archipelago. He was wearing a straw conical hat with a single slash mark up through it where it looked like it had been cut by a sword. He was dressed in a short sleeved Kimono and a worn out looking pancho over it, his two swords tucked neatly into the belt on his waist. The wooden sandals he wore clicked against stones as he walked down a fairly dirt street. He walked into a bar that was rather noisy and the whole place went dead silent, after all this place was probably full of regular customers who weren't too keen on outsiders. he walked up to the bar and took a seat and the place got rowdy again, but he could still feel that people were watching him all around the room. "I'm looking for a man, a samurai, heard he was passing through this island, haven't heard of anyone like that have you" Han said while looking at the bar tender, "Also I'd like a beer while I got your attention". The room feel silent again, this time some thugs began to approach Han. "Hey listen punk, I don't know who you think you are but this is our bar, why don't you scram before things get messy" The thug said. "oh?" Han said reaching for his sword.

No more than a minute passed and Han stood over the thug who had came up to him sword to his neck. The bar was practically trashed, slash marks on the walls and tables cut in half. "I got nothing to say to you" the Thug said trying to act tough while facing Han's blade. The bar tender peaked up from his bar and sighed "Twice in one week" he said. Han hit the Thug in side of the head with the blunt side of his sword, knocking him out. He walked over to the bar tender, "What do you know?" he said. "A samurai, as you said came here a few days ago, the same thing happened, he asked about the rumors regarding the one piece, I think he left the island a few days ago" the bar tender said. "Shit" Han replied as he walked out of the bar. "I guess I should look for a way off this Island, though finding out these rumors about the one piece may lead me to him, I guess I'll look into that first" he said to himself as he continued his journey down the street.
