"Growf!"
Premise:
A young man stumbles across a large black obelisk in a cavern. Within he will discover an ancient being kept imprisoned for about 2000 years.
The Obelisk
The Obelisk is 11 feet high, and 1¼ by 5 feet in cross-section. When its dimensions are checked with great care, they are found to be in the exact ratio 1 to 4 to 9—the squares of the first three integers. The surface is inscribed in a number of languages, among them Ancient Hebrew, Middle Egyptian, Canaanite, Phoenician, Aramaic, and Koine Greek - all from a time around 1000 BCE.
Whether your character knows any of this is irrelevant. This information is provided in case your character researches it. It IS visible. Translated the writings warn of a curse upon any who breaks the seal - and of the Abomination imprisoned within. Naturally, your character is the one to break the seal. Well, in your defense the languages used were for people who lived 3000 years ago.
To the touch the Obelisk is warm and pulses as if alive.
The Release
How the Obelisk is opened is not really important. For there to be an RP, it happened. If you like we can discuss it. Maybe your character took a pickaxe to it. Maybe he just willed it open and that was enough.

Hair Color: Black, long, straight, and silky
Eye Color: Sapphire blue
Other: Light olive complexion (Persian)
The woman within will “leak” out as a fiery smoke that coalesces into a beautiful woman. She does not speak modern languages. Rather she will begin with a Middle Eastern language (Pashto). (Note: she will have absolutely no possessions.) Her first act will be to bow to the one who has released her and speak softly (thanking the one who has released her from her long imprisonment, assuming she is even understood).
Your Character
This is up to you. The cavern could be just about anywhere on Earth. The idea of her imprisonment was to place her somewhere that she would never be found. Obviously her jailers underestimated Time. Whatever your character’s background, you should be able to justify his getting to the cavern. Archaeologist, tourist, whatever.
You will need a good CS.
Plot
This is still TBD and largely depends on the nature of your character.
