Shiloh was unable to stop the heat from rising to her face when he kissed her cheek. She tucked her head and glanced to side as she took a couple breaths to regain her composure.

"That's alright," she said as she went back to gently dabbing at the now open scars with the towel. "Some hurts take forever to heal, especially silver laced scars." Her eyes moved up to meet his briefly before looking away again.

When she was satisfied that his wounds had stopped bleeding, Shiloh placed the towel in the kitchen sink. She would wash it later. She then reached passed him, purposefully brushing herself against him as she did so, and pulled two glasses from the cabinet. Her eyes went back to his as she set the glasses by the whiskey bottle. Her smile turned coy and inviting.

"Now, about that drink."

Slayde's lips curled up into a smile as Shiloh kept looking from his eyes to somewhere else and back again. The fact that she was so shy about it made it that much better. Slayde felt the warmth of her as Shiloh brushed against him. In those few moments he took advantage of the closeness to lean in against her, enjoying every fleeting moment before she laid the tumblers out next to the bottle.

Two can play this game.

"Well, we're gonna need some ice." Slayde stepped around and turned slightly, making sure he brushed against Shiloh, as he retrieved the ice tray from the freezer. But no, he wasn't done yet. As he returned he reached out and laid his hand against the small of her back again, letting it slide around and rest against her waist for a moment before he focused on pouring their drinks. With one glass in each hand Slayde turned his attention back to Shiloh, stepping in close next to her before holding her glass out.

Willow backed away when Aivan spoke. Being that Willow had very little human experiences she did what any young wolf would do when confronted by an alpha, she backed away and kept her head down. She looked at the bear in his lap gazing up to his face momentarily before looking back down at the bear. She gave a little nod confirming that the bear was suppose to be him. Each bear had a different look and feel to them, 'Aivan' was fuzzy with a hard shell body and head but soft limbs probably stuffed with cotton. It was in fairly good condition except for a small stitch on its back. When Darby entered the room Willow clinched her fist and let out a little growl, a natural reaction a canine would have when unsure about a new face. The woman then left leaving to drinks behind, she looked back over to Aivan pointing to the bear seated in the chair next to him. "That one is called Shiloh." 'Shiloh' was covered in stitches and signs of repair. The head was a different color from the body and hollow. The body was covered in stitches, also one on the left arm implying it was once ripped off. Willow liked that one because it was squishy, almost like it was filed with a putty. Willow turned her head when the woman returned, watching her as she placed a cup in front of her. Willow didn't know what hot chocolate was but that wasn't going to let that stop her. She stuck a finger in the cup and licked the liquid off of it. She did this a couple of times before taking a sip from the cup. Willow had very strange habits when she ate, like the fact that she wanted to sit on the table instead of in a chair. She looked back at Aivan her mood more relaxed, pointing to the bear on his other side. "That is Darby." It was amazing how the girl could learn the names of the bears but had a hard time knowing the names the bears represented. 'Darby' was a deep maroon color soft and smooth fur and in good condition. It seemed like a normal bear until you turn to the back and saw that it an extra eye on the back of it’s head. Willow watched as the woman sat beside Aivan and moved the bear that represented her to a seat over. She picked up the bear examining it with a smile before showing it off the the two alphas. "This is Wahy'a, I like this one." It was your standard brown teddy bear except for its arms being legs and legs being arms. It also had a bow tie that was on the back of it's neck instead of the front. There was also a tag hanging from the bear's ear with the name Rithcher spelled out. Willow handed the bear off to Darby, grabbing her cup of chocolate and running out the room. Her attention span was no better than a toddler and she was on to the next thing before finishing her introduction of the pack.

Chika (chi-chi or chi)

Kitchen> her room.

Chika was making her way up stairs When she heard Willow calling her name and shoving a cup in her face. Chika was guessing the Willow had just discovered this drink and was now trying to show it off. Chika gave no response except to push the cup away from her face. "Your hammock is ready." Willow did not like the thought of sleeping inside or on a bed, and for the first two nights would sneak out and sleep on the back porch floor. Chika realized this was a pointless battle, and bought her a hammock instead. "Goodnight Will." Chika headed to her room closing the door behind her. Though she said goodnight the lights to her room would remain on for quite some time.

Willow pouted at Chi-Chi's unenthused reaction and finished her drink by gulping it down. Unaware of what she was suppose to do her cup she put it where she normal founded dishes...in the fridge. She passed by the Slayde and Siloh watching them flirt back and forth. Willow didn't understand much about attraction but she has seen enough deer getting it on to get a general concept. Misreading the situation Willow walked over to the two after placing her empty cup in the fridge. "What's that, is that juice? Are you gonna have sex? Do babies come out as wolves? Are you gonna have a boy? Can it be a boy? Are you going to be loud, most animals are loud, are humans loud?"

Seth's caution wrung true but seemingly not necessarily needed. Other Wolves had been here and before, very recently in fact, he had come up he had heard tussles. Not ones of malice but for purpose and play. Giving his dark whiskers a twitch, his eyes wide from deep set hidden excitement at just the thought of play put into his mind at hearing it. 'This must be close to their home...' He thought. Seemed like a common sense notion that Pack Wolves would be only comfortable enough for those sort of activities near their Den.

As he slowly kept forth his feet faltered to a stop. He could see the lights on through the trees... their home. Slowly putting his ears back he stood there uncertain. How should he approach? There was no question whether he would or not since it only seemed like the decent thing to do to show that it would be his unexpected scent they would sense when coming back out later. Best 'show himself'. Still his paws remained put... He subtly just began to take in scents. The air was heavy with the scent of Honeysuckle. Getting a bit too much into the sweet smell he probably looked a bit like a dweeb, nose now jutted out with his top front teeth exposed over the twine of the package and a goofy expression on his muzzle. Slowly taking one final 'encouragement' he regained his posture and puffed his chest out slightly. He was about to potentially face a LOT more Wolves. His typical sly-warm grin even showing through on his furry face.

Starters, he made sure he went around to the 'front' side of the townhouse. Second, he placed himself in the open just outside of the tree line and thirdly he kept his posture neutral. Giving himself mental checklist 'to-dos' he began his walk to their front door, package still firmly "attached" to his muzzle, making sure to keep his tail low but not anywhere near tucked. He had been around a few of the Pack members before and they all seemed easy going for the most part but... this was their home base. This was personal grounds.

He made his way to onto the front porch then looked at the main door... 'Is there a doorbell? Where is the doorbell?...' Walking some slight back and forth just in front of the door looking for one, the light patter of his claws ticking on the flooring of it... The thought never occurring to him to just scratch at the door. He spends too much time in humanoid form.

Location: Northern Clan Home| Interacting: Orion ( S Shibe ) | Mentions: Those traveling with Orion

A chill ran through Kody's spine; he could tell the alpha and others were about to step through the door. He was grateful for the acute senses being a werewolf gave him, as it helped him not jump when Orion burst through the door. There was one thing he hadn't prepared himself for, however, and that was them being able to scent the strangers that had been here just a while ago. Sure, they were currently sleeping in the guest room, but they'd left a trace and it was foolish of him to assume that it wouldn't be immediately found. Foolish, foolish, foolish.

"I can explain," Kody said, straightening up in his seat on the couch. "They wish to join our pack. I told them they could get some rest here in the guest room and discuss it with you in the morning, Alpha." Not the total truth, but it wasn't a lie, either, and he spoke it calmly and smoothly. "I apologize. I sent you a text but you did not reply, so I figured it was best to use my common sense and hope I handled things well enough for you. I'm prepared to accept any punishments you deliver." There wasn't even a hint of fear in the omega's voice.

Shiloh bit her bottom lip when he reached passed her to get some ice, purposefully brushing against her just as she had done to him. She closed her eyes and drew in a breath as her senses became more aware of how close he was to her. She breathed in his scent and leaned into the warmth of his hand on her waist.

She watched him as he poured out the two glasses of whiskey. She liked him and found she was quickly becoming comfortable with his company. When he turned back to her and handed her a glass, Shiloh smiled as if she had silently decided something. Her eyes locked with his as she brought the whiskey to her lips and she watched him over the rim of her glass as she sipped at the golden brown liquid.

Whatever spell that had started to weave itself briefly shattered when Willow stepped into the kitchen. The next words out if the pup's mouth set Shiloh into a fit of coughing as she struggled to swallow her drink. Shiloh set her glass down so not to spill the rest of it as she continued to cough, her face turning red from the mix of nearly choking and sheer embarrassment.

As Slayde sat his glass down he felt his throat constrict and his chest burn as he coughed. Willow just HAD to step in and say THAT. Despite the embarrassing situation Slayde wrapped an arm around Shiloh and pulled her close, his eyes shut tight as he gave a low growl of annoyance. "I'll take care of it." Slayde whispered to Shiloh before kissing her ear. "Then I suggest we find somewhere a little more private before Ami starts asking questions too."

"Willow, sweetheart," Slayde started as he looked back up at the teenage interruption. "You can't learn unless you ask questions, so I can't fault you for your curiosity. But, maybe you shouldn't just walk up to people and start asking them those questions. Now, be a good pup, and GO. TO. BED."

Willow was confused about why her question were getting such a reaction. "Um..." She wasn't to sure what to say as the omega turned her head in embarrassment. She thought maybe Slayde would answer her but completely shut her down. She didn't even say anything now she was being rushed off to bed. What was wrong with those questions. "What whyyy?!" Willow rolled her eyes walking off muttering some french curse word. Hearing something outside Willow ran to the door opening it only to see some strange wolf holding something. "You should stay outside, they are having sex and are really grumpy.” Willow usually was aggressive with strangers, but the wolf was putting up such submissive front that she felt relaxed, almost playful. She tilted her head starting into the wolf eyes before realizing who he was,Seth. She only knew him because Chika said something about making a teddy bear called Seth for the new guy, so it was process of elimination. “I have to go to bed now.” Willow ran past the wolf and around the corner to the back of the house. She climbed into the hammock wiggling her body so that it would start to sway back and forth.

Despite her embarrassment, Shiloh allowed Slayde to pull her to him. There was something about the way that he held her and the kiss he pressed to her ear that set her to ease again. After nodding in agreement that they move this somewhere more private, Shiloh relaxed herself into his embrace.

She brought a hand up to rest against his chest while she nuzzled into his shoulder, enjoying the scent that was uniquely his. Yes, she certainly liked him and whatever this was, though part hoped there was more to it. Tilting her head to the side so that her ear was to his shoulder, Shiloh gave Willow a warning look out of the corner of her eye as Slayde spoke to her. As Willow stomped off, Shiloh gave a sigh. The pup definitely needed to learn some manners. The pup dealt with, Shiloh lifted her head to turn her attention back to Slayde.

Slayde waited until Willow was far enough away before, content to be left alone, he leaned in and nuzzled against Shiloh's neck. Shiloh had always been kind to him, and the two had flirted in passing since he'd joined the pack. But recently things between them had felt a bit more, or, at least, that was what Slayde was feeling. "Well that was abrupt." Slayde laughed as he looked down into Shiloh's eyes. He slowly brought his hand up and lifted Shiloh's chin as he gently ran a finger along her neck, her jaw as he leaned forward and kissed her cheek. Then her ear. "If you want, we can leave the kitchen now." There was not only humor but also something more. A longing, perhaps, and also a question. In truth he hoped that he wasn't reading into this the wrong way.

Shiloh felt her heart flutter happily inside her chest and she let out a soft moan of pleasure as Slayde nuzzled into her neck. Oh, yes, she definitely wanted more of this. More of him. Shyness forgotten, she let herself enjoy the feeling of just being with him. She leaned into his touch and his kisses, taking pleasure in the feelings and sensations they awoke within her. At his words, Shiloh nodded her head.

"Yes," she said in soft voice. She caught the question in Slayde's voice, along with the longing, and she answered it. "I want that."

Wahy’a was mortified to say the least, and felt as though he deeply needed to erase what was witnessed from the inner folds of his brain. The Delta awkwardly thanked Shiloh for the cup of tea, he deeply appreciated that she cared for wanting to soothe his bouts of anxiety. “I suppose it’s bedtime for m-me as well.” He choked out, cheeks red from Willow’s words.

He strode over, gently placing the warm mug into the kitchen sink before darting up the stairs. Well, he was scarred for life now. “Could either of you check in case Seth shows up at the door? I’m worried he might have gotten lost...”

Orion gave a tired sigh, he was deeply exhausted and could care less. Too tired to even give the omega a mouthful of foul words. “Well, I suppose I can’t deny those who are desperate and want to join. No punishment is to be delivered, unless our ‘guests’ step too far out of line.”
He murmured, running a calloused hand through his dirty blonde locks.

“Get some rest, all of you. We need all the strength we can get for these next upcoming weeks, maybe even months.” Orion shot a glance over at the delta who had fixed his wounds, he still needed to tell her and the others of the bad news. Part of him wanted to keep it hidden though, maybe if they weren’t aware they wouldn’t be so fearful?

“As for not responding to your text, Kody. I apologize, I had a bit of an accident with my phone...” The Alpha explained, it wasn’t hard to realize that the communication issue was at fault on his own end. And so, he turned on his heel, walking past his pack mates and through the hall.

Orion made his way up a set of creaky stairs, grimacing as the old carpet crunched beneath his feet. He was surprised he hadn’t managed to fall through the upper floors yet. The hall above was lined with far too many rooms, made to house the large amount of members of the pack. Every room upstairs had been remodeled and had cheap beds shoved into it. There was very little room in them for even a dresser drawer.

A couple of pups still sounded as if they were awake a couple doors down, rough housing with each other in their cramped room. Orion rolled his eyes, ignoring the scuffle before entering his own room, locking it behind himself. His room was always locked.

S Shibe Fera had spent the morning scouting their new hunting grounds. The new omegas needed to learn how to sustain their pack. As the Gamma of the pack, it was her duty to find new locations. For most of the time, she was perfectly fine scouting locations in her natural form. But the...proximity of the local dog catchers caused her to temporarily disguise herself in this urban environment.

Now, she was back in her wolf form and had arrived to greet Orion. For now, she simply stood to the side, a fresh kill in her jaws as she waited.

When Orion stepped upstairs she decided to let go of the kill and resume a normal patrol outside. She'd wait until the leader requested her.

Meanwhile, Laurie was currently on her 7th beer. By now, the shift had ended and she'd heard the Alpha was going to go on a meeting with Orion. Today had been a pretty standard patrol. Scold the young vandals at the park. Give a ticket or two to a joyrider.

Laurie was currently finishing the last beer when she checked her phone. Did the meeting end already? Who knew? As a zeta of the pack she'd decided long ago that her information was always going to be second to the others. Not that she didn't mind McNamara's choices. He was usually the sound of reason in times like this.

Nodding as he listened to his alpha, Kody couldn't help but feel relieved that he wouldn't be punished, if only for the time being. He could only hope that Tempest and Bone would continue to behave well and avoid trouble like the plague. Their actions would reflect on him, be it positive or negative. He hung his head low, understanding now why Orion had failed to text him back, before deciding that he really should get some rest. He'd stayed up late waiting for the rest of the pack to get back, which he kind of wished wasn't necessary. Still, he knew he couldn't rest well until everyone was back, as odd as that seemed. He cared about them even if his rank made him someone they didn't spare a second thought about.

"I'll retire, then," Kody said to no one in particular as Orion headed up the stairs, bowing his head gently before following in the alpha's footprints. The stairs creaked under his weight, which said something considering he was technically under the average. He eventually made his way to his room, one of the smaller ones reserved for omegas like him, and rummaged his dresser for clothes. He changed into pajamas and climbed into his bed, not bothering to lock his door. On the off-chance someone needed him, he'd be there.

____________

Seth's never ending search for the simplistic doorbell still continued 'Seriously? I'm THIS dumb? C'mon its just a doorbell for crying out loud around the door is the ONLY place it's gonna be...' Giving a lengthy sigh through his twine laced clenched k-9s and coming to a stop, the package jiggling slightly. '...I've got to be the most unkeen eyed Wolf there ever has been...' His eyes studying hard without moving and with his pacing claw clicking stopped he heard foot falls... two leg foot falls but they seemed less heavy. 'A pup Wolf?' He didn't know there were any pups in the Pack. His dark ears perking some then suddenly BOOM, there she was. He looked to her with his eyes a little widened in a form of innocence, finding it odd that she paid a "strange Wolf" no mind really, then again he knew that pack Wolves really paid attention to physical stature and his posture rang loud and clear. Her quick minor assessment of him told him volumes about her intelligence level for her assuming age, but all in a good way. Their first meeting brief and kind of one-sided given that his mouth was busy but in that brief bit he had given a partial wag. Inevitably though, she had left him looking around looking like 'Well then... a little odd that was.' Looking towards the direction that she had went, debating about following but he didn't want to push his luck especially considering he knew he was not known to the care givers of the pack. He didn't feel like another possible beat down today. He eyed the front door from the corner of his eye with occasionally looking to the direction the spunky teen headed still standing there on the front porch like a dolt.

Wind & Tempest
The red haired teen slept on the floor, leaving his niece the bed. It was quiet from what he heard and he had to take some time to figure out where he was, until he scented his niece in the room and searched his mind for where he was. Flashes came to him of waking yesterday in a sick bay and meeting an omega, of his sister and his niece. The newcomer to the pack rubbed at his neck as he got up and tried to get rid of the stiff feeling before waking Bone and then leading the girl to the bathroom he remembered earlier, grabbing her bag to help her change into new clothing

Wind’s job was not done, the girl having spent the remaining night being passed around from wolf to wolf and made to do things in both wolf and human form. Dumped afterwards at a truck stop, the woman had been found by a couple truckers who had taken advantage of Wind’s unconscious form and bred her. Both stirring, they began accosting the wolf again in her sleep as dawn came and then morning. Wind, desperate for money and reminding herself this was for her brother and daughter, began returning their rough hands and lips on her as the sun rose.

Before the cruel alpha finally succumbed to sleep the night before, he had managed to share a conversation with Fera, another gamma of the pack. Though, he had to lean out of his broken window to call down to the she-wolf. Of course, it was their usual talks. Mostly business and reports on their territory.

————————————

Orion’s itchy and reddened eyes shot open to the glaring light the sun brought into his room, the rest he had managed to get the night before was very little. Only four hours of sleep, intruding thoughts and memories kept his mind from getting the mental sharpness he needed. Though, this type of sleep schedule was normal for him.

Orion was a crazed nocturnal animal of sorts.

His eyes followed the crackles along the ceiling, counting the number of water damage stains in his head. He brought a hand up to his scarred face, rubbing his temple with a index finger and a thumb. Orion’s back ached from the horrible mattress he laid upon, old, thin blankets covering his pale body. He craned his head over towards the door of his room.

Orion forced himself out of his bed, sitting up and hanging his legs over the edge of the bed, despite how his muscles cried out for more rest. All that he had on was a pair of worn shorts, and he was much too drowsy (and lazy) to throw on a quick shirt or tank top. And soon, he came stumbling out of his bedroom, nearly breaking his neck going down the stairs to the first floor of their home.

“Wakey wakey, bitches. Where’s the bacy?” Of course, he was referring to their morning meal.

Tempest
Tempest kept an ear out, even as he watched and listened for any movement within the house. It was in this way that he heard the ceiling above creaking and footsteps on what sounded like rickety stairs, the house otherwise silent which caused the heir’s head to snap up with a growl as he heard a voice somewhere in the house he had been dumped at. The heir turned to his niece who seemed to have finished and he pointed to the sink, using the toilet himself before flushing it and then turning on the water to adjust to a warm temperature. Tempest was antsy and uncertain about being here, the only nice member here that he had met being the omega.

“Inca hwungy,” said Bone, causing Tempest to look at her.

“There has to be something in this house we can kill or steal,” said Tempest as he looked at the child. “Your mother will kill me if I leave you here alone so hunting is out.” Tempest considered as he helped Bone change into some fresh clothing and considered their options which were very limited. Taking the kid out on a hunt was sure to have Wind on his back for endangering her child. “I’ll figure something out. Maybe your mom will be here soon.” Picking her up, Tempest picked her up and put soap on her hands before washing them, then set her down and washed his own. “Remember do not talk to anybody,” said Tempest, “unless it is the omega.”

Bone nodded and lifted her arms up. Tempest sighed and after gathering her clothes, picked her up in his arms. When was his sister coming back?

Fera was waiting at attention down the stairs. She wasn’t one to fiddle with time, and at the moment she was oddly enough in her human form.

Currently, Fera was covered in a black hoodie and hat, her eyes hungrily staring at him.

“This place no good.” She whispered. “Too many hunters not enough prey.”
