    12:12 PM.
The day was warm, almost insufferably so. Well for Naa it was, he pulled at his top once again a small frown prickling at his lips as he contemplated heading to the BBQ early or managing his time elsewhere. He had managed a polite exit from his team the last bit of their interaction, yet he somehow felt he had lacked an announcement of departure. Pressing his lips against a mute laugh the boy shook his head, its not as if he could say 'Yes, I need to go use the potty because the puppy scared the jeepers out of me.' Stifling a sigh Naa-Chan made his way to the moderate home he and his sister shared in this village, these garbs which seemed to strangle the very essence of his life from him needed to be handled. Some time later the fluff of a boy could be seen peeking around the door of the BBQ joint only a couple minutes after Mu-Kun had entered. His clothes had been changed slightly, his long sleeved shirt replaced with a black tank with sleeves of wide netted material. His long pocket covered pants traded for a more feminine pair of fitted shorts which ended just above mid thigh where they seemed to fade into a netted material once again, two packs where strapped to his right thigh filled with who knows what, all a deep black in color. Someone might assume it was his sisters, they'd be wrong. As he gazed through the room filled with nerves, he was mostly excited to being able to learn about his team. Spotting his new tall friend, Naa made a sound in greeting as he slid into the booth seat across from him. "Ah-- You got here early." He stammered a small grin taking residence on his lips.

Watching Tenma plop down Awani tilted her head a fraction, whatever was he sitting for? Some things she would never know, she thought mutely her lips tugging up a fraction before she once again returned to her obnoxious resting bitch face. Turning her attention once again to their Sensei she mused over what he would have her do. Whatever it was might hold quite the bit of entertainment, even if it mean she be one of the ones being the... source. Anything was better than this suffocating silence. Her eyebrow twitched a fraction as if nodding in agreement, she was never one for awkward silences.

Konoha, Training Ground 5
As she made her way to the assigned meeting spot, Rumi shook her head, trying to shake away the flustered feeling that she was currently battling over. She did not expect to run into Shun and of course he would go off and say things like that...he was always like that. Argh. Rumi could feel her cheeks heat up as she recalled Shun's compliment once again. She shook her head, no...it was just a compliment she shouldn't let it get to her...damn it. Rumi frowned as she lightly pinched her own cheek to get herself together. She doesn't need compliments...not like anyone ever has given her one before anyways. Looking ahead, Rumi's expression was back to her usual mischievous one. Yup, much better.

Looking ahead, Rumi blinked a few times as she noticed that her team was already here. Hm? But their teacher, Chiharu was it? She was nowhere to be seen. Smiling slightly, Rumi raised a hand in greeting as she spoke up with that ever so light tone in her voice, "oh? Where's our sensei? And here I thought I'm late, guess I made it on time hm?" She came to a stop in front of Shin and Téa. Her hetero-chromatic orbs scanned the clearing for their other teammate, Ekiji. Tilting her head to the side, Rumi asked with a smile, "oh and it looks like Ekiji isn't here as well? Now where can Megane-chan be?" As she was looking around for their last teammate, a sudden poof caught her attention.

Turning around to take a look, Rumi saw a small white fox appear from the puff of smoke. Smiling slightly, Rumi knelt down to pet the fox as she asked him, "oya? And where have you come from hm? You don't happen to know where our sensei and last teammate is at, do you?" The fox let out a small whine as if answering Rumi's question. Rumi chuckled slightly as she stood back up, of course a fox can't speak. She looked back at her two teammates, opening her mouth to say something when a figure entered the clearing...rather quickly. She didn't even have a chance to speak nor react as the figure came to a halting stop in front of the three genins.

Fluffy raven hair shined under the sunlight as the taller female took in a few more gulps of air before facing the three. Her dark midnight blue eyes looked at the three with something akin to guilt as she loudly proclaimed, "ahhh! I'm sorry! I overslept!" Rumi blinked a few moments in complete silence. What just happened? The older female ignored their stares as she continued speaking in a tangent, "I was waiting for you all to arrive first and then surprise you with my foxes but Shirayuki is so damn soft and fluffy and warm and ahhhh I fell asleep..urgh. Hm? Wait, hold on." Chiharu stopped talking as she took a glance at the three, counting heads in her mind until arriving at the fourth empty spot. She blinked a few more times before speaking up with realization, "wait, we're missing the last student! Where is she?" Chiharu was certain that she was assigned a team of four genins unlike the standard three man cell that is usually assigned. She wondered if she walked past the student or perhaps she was early? Shaking her head, Chiharu sent the three a grin as she said, "well regardless, my name is Tsukimura Chiharu! It's a pleasure to meet you three! Now then, why don't we go look for our last team member? We can get to know each other while looking for her?" Chiharu just smiled at the three, her earlier panic no longer evident at all.

Rumi frowned a bit, oh no. She wasn't good at dealing with these types of people at all. Her sensei was the type to just do what she wants...now how can she get around this one?

A soft sigh was heard as Aoi sat down on a blanket that he spread out onto the ground. He had bought bentos for everyone in case they haven't ate lunch yet that and he had something in store for that. Grabbing the hot green tea into his hand, Aoi took a sip of it before letting out another sigh. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the silent peace, knowing that soon his students will be coming, hopefully. He re-opened his moon-like orbs as he silently contemplated whether it was a good idea to give the three genins such a task right off the bat. Find him somewhere in Konoha...so maybe he shouldn't have made those multiple clones and sent them out to wander around the village. Oh well. It was a learning experience for them so he can safely say it was all for their good.
Aoi blinked for a few moments before turning his head towards the direction of the training ground next to where he sat. He could feel a certain person's chakra, it was familiar...where did he sense this one before? He closed his eyes and focused a bit more before a smile reached his lips. Ah, it was one of his students, was it the one who had the surname of Hyuga? Interesting...Aoi shrugged as he supposed his students really will have to try hard to find him. More time for him to enjoy his tea he supposed.

TÉA SUZUNA | Konoha: Home, Training Grounds | FEELING: sh*t where's ekiji | INTERACTION(S): Shin, Rumi, Chiharu-sensei, Daichi

So, she had been the first to get there, Téa realized after a minute, taking the time to scan the area. She had no idea what Chiharu-sensei had up her sleeve - would they be sparring? Playing a game? Nevertheless, Téa was much more ready than she'd been this morning. Téa stretched her arms up, releasing the air pressure in some of her joints before she turned back to the entrance. Just in time, too, she thought as she met eyes with Shin. She waved back at him, walking over to her teammate. "Yo. You didn't see our sensei on the way over, did you?" Honestly, she preferred if she was late; that meant no matter what, Téa was early and wouldn't get into trouble. Sometimes the sensei's faults could be a great advantage, she thought, cracking her knuckles. "I'm kinda excited about this." She admitted aloud, to Shin, to herself, really. She'd been waiting to do some actual work after graduation - how would she be the best medical-nin if she didn't get started right away? As far as she was concerned, she could be doing more...but she knew she had to take it slow. Rushing through everything meant not mastering it. Téa left her thoughts of impatience behind her as she felt the air change, looking back up and noticing that Rumi had joined them.

"Hey, Rumi. Yeah, I was just asking Shin that. I think we're early for her, and Ekiji." That was right - Téa was a little more concerned that Ekiji wasn't around. Chiharu-sensei knew what she was doing and had lived in Konoha, so she knew her way around, but Ekiji? "...Did she just move here?" Téa tried to remember everything Ekiji had told them earlier, but before she could do anything else, a poof! was heard behind Rumi. As Rumi talked to the small fox that had appeared, Téa leaned to the side to get a good look. She had seen those around before, but in passing. She'd thought they were just quick puffs of smoke that she'd seen, but no, the fox was real, and it was fluffy. Téa's cheeks tinted pink as she smiled at the animal. Téa leaned back up to give Rumi her full attention before all three were interrupted by their sensei. At least, Téa assumed that was her...oh yeah. As the woman kept speaking and introduced her name, Téa smiled warmly. Chiharu-sensei reminded her of one of her siblings.. "No worries, ma'am. It's nice to meet you. I don't think Ekiji knows the area that well, from what I remember." She looked at her teammates, minus one. "Didn't she say something about 'bottom of the ocean'?" Hopefully they would remember better than she would, at the moment. She guessed she was still a little tired, if she couldn't recall that. She looked back, noticing one more figure. Was his name Daichi? "Are you looking for something?"

Shishoku Shin
Konoha, Fifth Training Ground, 11:55 AM

Shin would have loved it if they had just sat silently, waiting for the rest of the team to arrive. Oh well, such were the woes of socialization. Besides, it could be worse. Suzuna was... pleasant. It would be rude to leave her waiting so he says "Sadly, no. Not a trace of Tsukimura-sensei." He personally checked after all.

Her little confession felt a bit personal, but he got it. He nodded. "Understood." Shin wanted to start working soon too. It was a step closer towards his goal. A step closer to not being a burden.

Soon after Mikazuki entered the scene. He gave her a nod too. It was puzzling indeed that Tsukimura-sensei was not already here. This meeting was organized by her in the first place. He was no sensor, but surely she had to be around somewhere. He hoped so at least. As for Shinkaiōganikku... it sounded mean but he was glad she was nowhere near them. Really. She was infuriating.

Immidiately a small snow fox appeared out of nowhere. Not the right season. A summon? Or animal used in a substitution? Interesting. He side eyed the little critter. Shin started glancing aound, seaching for the Shinobi that brought it here. It could be Tsukimura-sensei. They should start being attentive then. It could lead to a fight.

But no. Mikazuki cooed at it. He was just about to step in when...

Their Sensei appeared. Apologizing to them apparently for sleeping in. This was... different. She didn't seem to be strict or commanding at all. Bit of a clutz. Too nice. That would take some time getting used to.

"Glad to be finally meeting you, Tsukimura-sensei." Shin says with a bow.

Damn it Shinkaiōganikku. Why did Tsukimura-sensei notice she was missing.

Shin just sighed and went "Hai.Hai.". Orders were orders. Even when they entailed a person you did not like.

Woops. How long had the blind boy been there for?

Akashi raised his right hand, gesturing towards Ikuto, Emi and Sina with a thumbs up as their Sensei was revealed, the red haired Genin failing to notice the increasing distress arising from his new team mate as he himself got excited. "It's finally starting" muttered Akashi, his eyes wide open and a large grin present across his face. He couldn't help but feel energized at this moment, the blood beginning to boil inside of him as all this restless energy overwhemed him. Despite her quick departure from the room, Akashi couldn't help but feel pumped up now, the appearance of their jounin was basically the final confirmation that Akashi needed, it essentially made the whole present scene real for them. Akashi was well and truly on his path to becoming a true Shinobi and he couldn't wait to get down and dirty with the serious stuff.

Alas, anything serious would have to wait for awhile as upon grouping up outside of the Academy, he was instead assaulted with a lollipop; a gesture Akashi was not expecting thus at that moment in time unprepared for. Akashi's mouth was almost fully open in surprise as he reached out and reluctantly grabbed the treat, a wave of uncomfortability sweeping over him as he felt somewhat treated like a child. Perplexed and not knowing how to react at this moment, Akashi had failed to comprehend Ikuto's question, merely uttering "Uh.. yeah.. sure" to his question without actually understanding the context. Glancing towards Emi and Sina, before turning to face Ikuto, Akashi could only begin to wonder what their first impressions of Miyu Sensei was.

"Yeah! training, would be..." before he could even attempt to jump on the suggestion Miyu had made, he was cut off as she came to a decision on her own; making the choice she had offered them earlier completelty redundant "...great...". Akashi slumped his head in defeat. Miyu Sensei may not be as straight to the point as he had hoped.

Hopes of seeing the Inuzuka Taijutsu style as well as Ikuto's own taijutsu put on hold, Akashi followed behind the others as they made their way to the Tea house; his feet heavy against the ground. He had been real eager to compare his own style to theirs ever since they revealed their combat styles and with those hopes postponed, Akashi couldn't help but feel slightly depressed, almost like a child having his toy taken away from him.

Now sitting inside the Tea house, Akashi found himself sitting opposite of Miyu Sensei, the dark haired teacher sitting next to Ikuto, who by all meaning of the word did not look to be too comfortable in his spot. Deciding to take advantage of Miyu's offer to treat them, Akashi began to scour the menu for anything delectable; his eyes falling upon both the 'Ice Green Tea'; a tea popular with martial artist for its refreshing pre-workout boost as well as its recovery properties which aide in the body's recovery after excercise. Before he could finalise his choise though, Miyu brought up the topic of conversation the three genin had had earlier discussed, the red haired youth seizing the opportunity. "Roen Akashi, Age 12. I prefer Taijutsu and Nintaijutsu styles of combat, my hobbies include sparring with Isao Sensei, training on my own, Perfecting my fighting style and observing the Taijutsu techniques of other clans, so I may one day create my own style" began Akashi, slamming both hands onto the table as he got overly excited about his aspirations.

Chouko Senju
location: Konoha, ninja academy // interaction: why kyari-sensei, why?
Chouko's good deed of the week ended in a way she couldn't have predicted - with her limbs suddenly being locked into position. She fought to work some sort of awareness into her arms at the very least. It was to no avail. Now, Chouko could feel a vein in her forehead twitching, her blood boiling as the unfairness of the situation beginning to register. She could feel her lips turning downwards (at least her lips could move), a pout beginning to wrinkle her face. She fought back the urge to let her voice join the classes chaotic rumbles.

You are calm. You are beautiful. You are a lady.

The mirror mantra usually worked, but today it wasn't enough to quell Chouko's temper - "What the fuc-noodlard, sensei! I didn't do anything, I'm innocent!"

..

Only when she'd reached her house - after stomping her way through the Senju compound and huffing and puffing her fury to all those who would listen (a young couple and old man being the only unfortunate victims she'd seen) - had Chouko calmed down. She'd calmed down enough to switch from her baby-blue kimono of the morning into something a little more comfortable - a loose t-shirt and a pair of cotton shorts. These were the most homely pieces of clothing she owned, the ink splotches across them really only further deprecating there value. But they were appropriate wear for her daily homework assignment, as prescribed by her absentee father.

One more glance at the clock confirmed definitively what she was already aware - she had 2 hours.

She begin her work with a blob of ink in the center of her notebook, inching her brush along the paper to shape the ink into recognizable kanji. Satisfied with her work on the first symbol, Chouko started on the next, then the next and then next. All the while, the hands on the clock on the wall continued to move.

In what felt like a couple of minutes (though it was likely an hour), Chouko yawned deeply, wiped an ink-covered hand across her cheek. She didn't feel the bits of excess ink begin to settle and dry on her cheek. She quietly observed her finished product, grinned at the thought of actually putting it onto a scroll with sealing ink. But that wasn't possible for now, at least while her father wasn't here to observe her progress and make sure she didn't blow anything up. Sealing ink was expensive enough anyway.

The familiar ticking of the clock above her once again begin to fill her ears, and Chouko was reminded of that prior obligation. She yawned again, letting her eyes drift to it.

And let out a startled screech, jumping to her feet. Underneath her, the ink-filled bottle tipped onto the carpeting.

"Oh shittzle, shittzle, shittzle.." Chouko moaned, already imagining her father's reaction to seeing the stain across the nylon carpeting they'd just gotten replaced. But that could be taken care of later, Chouko 'discreetly' putting a shoe over the mess. For now she had to get ready.

She slipped into a pale burgundy kimono, pulling her hair into two hurriedly combed through pigtails. Stealing a glance at herself in the mirror, Chouko let out a little groan at the inked handprint that stuck out against her pale skin.

She hurried into the next room, mopping her face gently with a cotton cloth. Although the stain lightened, it only spread the dark residue farther. But there was no time for vanities, not when it was nearly 12.

Eventually, Chouko settled for sweeping a little bit of powder across her pale skin, pushing a flesh-colored Band-Aid on top and hurrying out the house with her money-puch. Hopefully she wouldn't be so late the impression she made on her sensei wouldn't be a bad one.

..

The line at Kozue was notably lengthier then Chouko was used too, by the time she arrived. She was more accustomed to reservations, walk-ins were simply not the Senju way. But it was to expected, given the time of day. Patting down her kimono and hair in a moment of self-conscious thought, Chouko hurried to join the line. Amongst the people gathered, Chouko easily picked out Reji and Yoko near the front. She joined them, shooting Reji a hesitant look before tilting her torso forward a little into a respectful little bow.

"Sorry for the lateness, Reji-sensei,"

When he'd first entered the academy - in a flourish of roses, no less - Chouko had been slightly perturbed if not amused. Standing before him now, taking him in without the roses and flashiness she decided he was odd but interesting.

"please take care of me." another quick bow before Chouko let her eyes flicker over to Yoko's.

"So I guess the guys are always going to be this late, huh?" she intoned, amusement quirking one side of her lips upward.

Kanasai stared blankly at his teacher.

The roof? Why the hell would he go there? Was this a prank? Through the little crack on the door he could hear several kids laughing. His blank stare turned into a suspicious one as the silence continued. Only when she explained that his jonin sense was running late did he let go of the breath he didn't know he was holding.

Without protesting, he started on the steps to the roof.

Kaigo Nakamura
XZraLWka_400x400.jpg

Kaigo's thoughts drifted from one to another, resonating peacefully in his head as he meditated under Reo-Sensei's orders. Awani sat beside him, Reo-Sensei in front of him though for minutes the group hadn't uttered a single word, perhaps it was because Tenma wasn't here, or the exercise really did affect them and aided in circulating chakra, Tenma hadn't been that bad since Kyari-Sensei's yelling and berating of Enma Hiashi. Kaigo's eyes peeked open in the direction of Tenma as he'd finally returned from home having gone to get a change of clothes after the shirtless pyjama fiasco he'd pulled off back at the academy. His focus turned back to the meditating, though soon enough Reo-Sensei had ushered them up the grass and through the forest around them.

After only a moments walk, the group came out into an opening in the forest, a circle of trees around them. Kaigo had to place a hand over his eyes as the sun's strength grew in the open. The brightness was something Kai didn't quite enjoy, and was even tempted to curse if it wasn't for the presence of Team 7's sensei. "Today," the blonde-haired man began, "you're going to learn and soon enough be adept at circulating and forcing your chakra throughout your body. Watch closely." Sensei's hands moved over his chest, clenched together as only his index and middle finger stayed revealed. Shutting his eyes for a moment, the grass around Reo-Sensei's feet tensed, a small gut of air raising dirt around him. And in simple fashion, sensei's eyes were opened as he casually made way towards the tree, and somehow, walked up on it as well. Kaigo, truly awe-eyed, managed to keep his mouth shut at the feat.

"Try it, all of you." He said with a smile as he'd seated himself up on one of the larger branches. Shade from the leaves around him darkened his face though he was still rather visible. "Use these kunai to mark wherever you reach." In quick succession, Reo-Sensei sent three sharp-tipped kunai towards each of the genin at accelerating speeds.

Kaigo knew he couldn't catch the weapon head on, leaning to the side before reaching back at the hilt of the kunai. He twirled it in a finger before looking up at a tree. Kaigo glanced back at Awani, then to his other side at Tenma before mimicking Reo-Sensei's actions. His eyes shut firmly, the ground pulsing steadily around, and in a flash, he was already at the tree. The first seven steps were the easiest, and as if his chakra'd disappeared, Kaigo felt his weight pulling him towards the ground, barely slashing the tree as he flew back towards the ground. He kicked off of the tree, flipping back midair before landing on a knee, his eyes piercing up slowly.

This is gonna be a long day.

(Location. The village gate. Migotona sensei. mood= happy
Tafu travelling there. Mood= grumpy as all shit)

Migotona had entered the classroom calling for team two.
The short teenage girl had a few of the knuckleheads who idolise Sato leering and wishing to be in team two.

Tafu was pissed however. About to yell at his old sensei when his scythe pulled him to the front of the classroom as the young jonin flicked her finger.
A force Tafu knew all to well and had to repress every ounce of his being not to holler shout and attempt to fight back. And lose.

Once Karin and Natsumi ( L latency izayoiix izayoiix or whoever is filling in for whoever is missing I lost track OOC)

Was also front and centre for their sensei she gave them instructions.
“meet me at the village gate, we can get to know each other and see if where ready for a little test” with a wink and a smile to the whole class she left as quick as she had appeared, those jonin loved that flashy invisible shit,
Tafu luckily landed on his feet with a hand to balance him.
The whole thing made him mad as everything. And he quickly left to fume as he walked.

My sister is my sensei!!? Bullshit!! That means she comes on missions and tells me what to do? Whose sick idea of a joke is this?!
maybe I should become a blacksmith. No! That’s what she wants me to think... I’ll show her, I’ll get better and laugh at her... I won’t aim for hokage or head of the clan, but when they see my skill as a shinobi they will ask me to be head, and soon hokage, and I will say no thanks.

Not waving good bye to anyone on account of his sister starting his journey as a genin by flinging him to the ground. The young man left the building quickly and in a grumble. She will not! Get my scythe again...

Migotona was waiting by the gates for her new team to arrive. She had heard good things about most of the class, so many teams, some still being formed or rearranged. Such fun.
She knew she would certainly pass on knowledge, advice, and be able to pull them out of the fire for any time a C mission gets to spicy for them.
She couldn’t help but reminisce on her missions growing up.
She sighed as she paced waiting for her genin to show.

Ongaku as always was ghost. Not even the teachers jutsu effected him as he continued background music. Seeing tafu’s Sister made him strum a tad faster as he assumed shit would go down. Sorta did, then she vanished. All the teams met their sensei’s.

Ongaku went to move from the teachers seat as she approached him. He was somewhat embarrassed and took a seat at the front that was now empty.
“Just don’t give me tright sai” Ongaku muttered under his breath.

The dark-haired woman grinned while she conversed with Hiro and Shun. Judging by how the two acted they definitely weren't the 'problematic' ones of the team, as Kyari put it earlier. "Hmm, I guess my question about you was answered, Shun. Right, Freckles?" Noting back to her initial curiosity of whether or not Shun was the so-called 'meanie' she had been warned about. "Hey, hey. Did you guys notice? Shun, Shun-kun? Shun and kun rhyme! How great is that? Now Shun-kun has a nickname, too. Okay, Freckles, Freckle-boy-McCoy, now watch this. His eyes look like gold yeah? Golden Shun-kun."

Sensing a new presence, Emiko's dark irises trailed in it's direction–or rather, his direction. From a distance, stood a boy in black, who she also noticed was taller than herself. He had extremely long hair pulled back into a pony-tail. "Woah, look at that guy. He looks like he could've been the tallest in your class, no doubt!" Emiko glanced back over at the other two. "I think I already have a nickname for him. He's the mean one, so: Meanie? But he's also super tall and as thin as a string... Yeesh, maybe he's grumpy because he's hungry."

Fully turning towards the lengthy figure in the distance, she called out to him. "Meanie! String bean! Mean String Bean! Stop being such a loner and get over here!" Emiko grinned at her 'nicknaming skills' and began to speak to all three of her students. "I can already tell your guys' teamwork is not the best," she began. "But that's fine, we've only just come together as a team. I think it'd be wise to get to know each other a bit first, and then we can go into training and whatnot. I'll start though, and hopefully a certain String bean over there will come join us."

"Okay! My name's Tachibana Emiko, as you all already know! I love being able to sit out in the sun and have fun with those I care about. My fighting preference... I'm capable of a lot of things but Taijutsu is my favorite. Hmm, and then I became a ninja so that I can protect the ones I love and go on loads of adventures, I guess. So now... Who's next?"

Running up trees? That's not something Tenma expected to be tasked with within the first day of getting assigned Reo as a sensei. His eyes narrowed at the other blonde from his place still on the grass, watching as the older male preformed a single hand-sign and walked up the side of a nearby tree. So we're just sending chakra to our feet? That shouldn't be too hard.

Reaching forward to grab the kunai lodged into the ground, Tenma then stood up and set his sights to the tree that stood tall a few meters away from him. He brought his bandaged hands up and made the same sign Reo (and, at one point, Kaigo) did, channeling the energy down through his legs and to the soles of his feet. As he did so his legs grew to be extremely hot, but he ignored it–and instead, charged towards his target, kunai in his left hand.

One step, two steps, three steps... This wasn't so bad at all! Tenma continued making his way up the tree until something felt off. The heat from his legs quickly transferred lower and in what seemed like only a second the area around him lit up and a loud 'boom' could be heard in the area. Truth be told, that was his Kekkei Genkai: Explosion Release. It was something he had only discovered fairly recently and had nowhere near enough control over, so it was no surprise to the boy when the explosion disrupted his flow and stopped him from making anymore progress on the tree-walking.

"Shit...!" he cursed out, falling backwards before he even had a chance to mark the tree with the blade in his hand. Not that it really mattered anyways, since the tree was damaged from where his last step was. Quickly, he regained his posture and landed back on the ground, glaring at his surroundings. The blonde scoffed. Tch, fine. Lets try this again...

[div class=textbox]Rising from her seat at the gesture from her Sensei, Awani stretched her limbs as if she had been stiff. She hadn't but there was no harm in checking to see if she still remained limber. Following the suit of boys who marched off in pursuit of their instructor. Casually sweeping her gaze over the man her lips twitched in a smile, he didn't look like much, but she figured looks can be deceiving. Suppressing a shudder at a passing thought Awani refocused on their instructor who was preforming a hand sign before walking smoothly up a tree. Nice.

Swaying slightly towards the left to remove herself from the velocity of the incoming object, she turned with a serpent like quickness to snatch it from its momentum just as it slowed enough when making impact with the soil behind her. Sliding her gaze over to the other two as they each approached their own trees she watched for a moment to see their movements before finding her own. I'll tell you now channeling chakra is not her forte. Well more like nothing is her forte, she was a solid 'ble' across the board. And boy did it show when she began her trek up the tree. Only a solid four strides into her upwards gait and she was already loosing control to being dragged back by gravity, quickly she marked the trunk as redness of embarrassment fought to place itself on her cheeks.

In her second try she had almost made it to a full seven, when a loud sound, a boom, filled the air vibrating her and causing her to loose all focus. With a mute cry she swept her arm out to strike the tree before landing her fall with as much grace as possible. Her gaze glided icily over to Tenma and his tree she swore was smoking with the emission he had inflicted.
"Really." Her voice was blunt with a hint of humor lacing its tone as she swallowed back a small laugh.

Konoha, Ninja Academy room 3-A to the Roof Top

Just as Ran was about to speak up once more to Adohira about their last teammate and then who their teacher would be, a lot of things just happened. It all happened too fast for Ran to even care honestly. At this point the young Yamanaka just wanted to be out of this class, meeting his teacher and just getting this whole genin life started. Of course his father would be a bit annoying about him being paired with a Nara, but at least Adohira seemed like a chill guy. Ran closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh once Kyari-sensei finally mentioned something about their teachers. Though what he heard next about his team's teacher...was not something he expected.

A small 'tch' could be heard from the soft spoken male as he frowned ever so slightly. If anything it looked more of a pout than anything else. All day today his calculations on how things were supposed to be going down has not been adding up. Maybe he was underestimating things a bit here...perhaps he'll have to just say screw it to calculations and just go with the flow for today...just for today. Ran lifted an eyebrow at the mention of how Team 3's teacher will meet them at the roof top...okay? Standing up, Ran glanced down at Adohira and with a small smile he said, "guess we're meeting at the roof top huh? Well I'm going ahead then, see you soon!" He waved at the young Nara before making his way up the stairs and to the top of the roof. Upon arriving, Ran blinked for a moment as he noticed someone was already there...and no he was not the sensei especially since he looked too young to be one to begin with. Cocking his head to the side, Ran spoke up, "are you by chance, Uchiha Kanasai?" Our last teammate who never showed up until now? Ran thought to himself despite the soft smile covering his lips, "the name's Yamanaka Ran, nice to meet you." Now only to wait for their sensei, finally things seem to be starting for the young genin!

He didn't know what else to say...but anmitsu was something he liked so guess it's fine? As Miyu-sensei began to ask them to introduce themselves, Ikuto wanted one of his other teammates to go first and thanfully Akashi seemed more than eager to start. Ikuto listened to him, smiling slightly before he felt Miyu-sensei's sharp gaze on him. Miyu listened to Akashi introduce himself as she nibbled on a piece of dango while looking directly over at the red-haired boy. Her expression remained blank and once he was done speaking, she turned her crystal gaze to the boy sitting next to her. She's heard a brief overview of her students, one was eager to learn, another was hyperactive and the last was supposedly timid and scared of females. Why her Hokage deemed it appropriate that these three come together was beyond her...but she was sure she will find out soon enough.

Ikuto sat up straight as he felt his sensei's gaze on him. Knowing it was his turn to speak, Ikuto spoke up, "um Fuyuki Ikuto, age 13. I like to read books and um cook..." he paused for a moment, unsure if he should have mentioned that last part but continued on anyway, "my preferred form of fighting would be taijutsu and ninjutsu and I guess my least favorite would be genjutsu and long ranged fighting..." he glanced timidly over at their sensei, hoping that was enough to satisfy the older Jonin. It seemed to do the trick as Miyu's gaze then went to their last teammate. Leaning her head onto her hand, Miyu drawled out for Emi to hear her, "and you? Or rather, you two. What about you two pair of ladies hm?" Her eyes glanced down over at the Ninken, she had a teammate who was an Inuzuka so Miyu was rather familiar with the Inuzuka and their ninken...maybe her Hokage was actually thinking when placing her as the Jonin in charge of these three.

Konoha

After bidding her teammates goodbye, Hitomi ran off in search of her older twin. She soon spotted her sister walking away from her own teammates and not waiting any longer, Hitomi launched herself at Natsumi happily, "Natsu-nee! How is it? How are your teammates? Are they nice? Do they like you? Oh I bet they do! Oh oh oh! I can't wait to tell you about my teammates and and and!" Hitomi went off on a tangent as she happily clung onto her sister. Realizing that they were just standing there, Hitomi tugged on Natsumi's hand all the while saying, "ah let's go eat the bento you made! Come on!" The twins were soon seated outside the Academy under a nice shade of a tree with Hitomi telling Natsumi all about her new team. How both Mu-kun and Naa-chan are nice and then about how their sensei has a huge fluffy adorable dog! She was obviously excited as Hitomi couldn't stop talking to her sister about her team and before she realized it, it was nearing noon.

Standing up in a rush, Hitomi let out in surprise, "oh no! I'm going to be late, ahhh I'll see you later Natsu-nee?" She gave her sister one last hug before running off to find her teammates at their meeting spot. Oh, it was a BBQ place? She just had lunch not too long ago but...Hitomi grinned as she rubbed her belly as she ran, more food never hurt her before! As she barely made it on time, Hitomi entered the restaurant after taking in a few deep breathes to calm herself, her pearly hues glanced about the place before landing on her two teammates brightly colored hairs. Smiling happily, Hitomi walked over to where the two were seated and she quickly took a seat next to Naoaki all the while happily greeting the two, "hello! Sorry if I'm late! I'm not late...right?" She looked between Hitomu and Naoaki as uncertainty shined her lavender hues. She didn't want to leave a bad impression to her sensei that and she would hate it if her teammates disliked her for being late. Blinking, Hitomi looked about as she realized that their sensei has yet to arrive, "oh where's sensei?" Hitomi questioned aloud as she tilted her head to the side in question. Was she...actually on time!?

Feeling- Eager, slightly worried
Location- Academy then to the BBQ

Objective- Meet their sensei! Eat more!

Not wanting to lose her composure just yet, Rumi spoke up with that smile ever present on her lips, "Sensei, I'm sure if we wait here a bit longer, Megane-chan will show up in due time, if we all walk off now, then perhaps we might miss each other and end up wasting all of our times, no?" Rumi sent Chiharu a small smile, it was nearing that of a smirk, but she can tone it down for now. Now to see how their new sensei would react to that. Chiharu looked over at Rumi in silence before slowly grinning, "you're right! But hmmm, I rather not get all separated so...oh! How about I leave one of my summons here? Yeah? Alright! Then let's get going!!" Rumi's smile fell off her face as she stared incredulously over at Chiharu. Did she just get outsmarted or was that something else? Holding back a sigh, Rumi didn't back down as she spoke up once more, "how about this? Shi-chan over there can wait for her here while the rest of us splits up to look for Megane-chan?" Chiharu looked thoughtful once again before she shook her head as she grinned down at Rumi, "I can see what you're trying there, but nope! Now anyways...uh Téa was it? You said something about the bottom of the ocean...what did you mean by that?"

Rumi refrained from face palming herself. Okay, this teacher was harder to deal with than she originally expected...darn. Now how to make her teacher flustered? An idea struck Rumi as she smiled coyly while answering before Téa can even speak up, "oh it's just that Megane-chan used to live in the ocean, though who knows where she is now...hopefully she isn't drowning or anything." Rumi held up a hand to cover her mouth, hiding the little sly smirk. Chiharu was silent before she glanced over at the small pond near them. Walking over to the edge, Chiharu peered into it before lifting a foot, appearing as if she was going to step onto the water. Rumi blinked, wondering if her teacher was actually going to swim to find Ekiji? Chiharu's foot made contact with the water as she stood on top of the liquid base, as she was walking about on the pond all the while calling out Ekiji's name, "Ekiji-chan? Megane-chan? Where are you~!?"

What? Rumi stared in slight disbelief...was her teacher walking on water as if on dry ground!? Chiharu stopped her search as she glanced over at the genins. A small smile tugged at her lips as she said with a playful wink, "you guys will learn this eventually, but I'm not sure if you can learn this right now...I mean you can try if you want? Just beware...you will get soaked hehe." Rumi blinked for a moment before turning to face Shin and Téa, with a smile gracing her lips, Rumi asked the two, "well? Did you two want to try that out?"

A stroke of sunlight touching his skin like a kiss upon his cheek, while a cool breeze kept the man nice and chill as the man napped upon a branch beneath a overhanging series of branches and swaying leaves. A slideshow of memories playing through his mind ranging from his gathering with the other jonin sensei of this years class of genin, his pleasant nap upon the tree, the reveal of which team he'd get for his first overseeing of a genin squad and which respective genin would be part of his pack with a few distant memories of a old rival from another village, a man he'd encountered a few times in his years as a ninja.

Only realizing moments there after upon hearing a familiar bark that was reaching his ears, waking up the jonin Inuzuka and causing him to glance at the sun and back towards his wrist, then toward one massive fluff known as Tiago. "Ha, Tiago! Finally caught up with me, huh pal?" Gin spoke teasingly while hopping down off his branch. "Wraughfff!" Tiago responded in playful counter to his Nin partner. "Ah, no way! I was totally aware of the time and you're the late one. I was waiting for you." He grinned with a sense of certainty he was right while Tiago rolled his brown eyes and once again countered continuing the pairs playful bantering.

Hitomu lost in mouth watering thought as he challenged himself to decide on what he'd order once everyone got there. The boys mind only returning to reality when a famialir presence was noted and took a seat across from him. "Hey Naoaki! Yeah guess I did. Thought I'd be late after that book." The boy returned his eyes from the menu and toward Naa-Chan. A smile gracing his lips as his new friend joined him with a small grin joining his expression. It seemed brief before the arrival of one pearl eyed hyuga with a happy greeting appeared joining them and taking her seat next to Naoaki with hello. "Yo Hitomi! Nah, worries aren't necessary about being late, Inuzuka sensei hasn't arrived yet." Hitomu replied with a greeting and fair smile.

Meanwhile elsewhere.......

footsteps striding along the villages various streets, taking turns down one and then up another, a pair of shinobi casually walked towards the BBQ restaurant where Gin instructed his new team to meet up. Whilst a continuous presence of man and his ninken bantering with one another as they took steps toward the BBQ restaurant sounded quietly. "I was not.... Just thought about how Reiji and Miyu were doing with their new team is all. Totally not something else." Gin responded with his arms raised and resting behind his head. Tiago shaking his head and returned a comment in turn, "Bro.... Come on! You should know how stoked Reiji was about his team, almost as stoked as I am or maybe it's a tie? While Miyu.... well you know her. Haha" The male laughed recounting part of his day before taking note the distance of where he stood and the window of the restaurant.

A smile took presence upon his lips as a thought entered his mind. Hehehehe..... "Alright Tiago enough chatter over today, time to execute Ol' Air landing formation!" Gin smiled wide and nodded to Tiago who shared his partners grin and nod. The two now breaking off into swift run toward the window by the trio of genins booth, a small kicking up of dirt as they pressed forward to the restaurant. Giving a good leap timed and coordinated with his Nin Ken as the duo burst through the window, leaping over the booths table and landing cleanly upon the ground, Gins back to the trio, arms out wide on each side of him and crouched with one knee touching the ground and feet firmly pressed with toes against the ground and heels upward, head slightly bent in lowering with a hidden momentarily grin and closed eyes, while Tiago landed atop his back coordinating fashion.

"Sorry I'm late pack eight! But hope I've got your attention now!" Gin spoke up with a grin and contained hyped of a tone. Meanwhile the chef and owner sighed and shook his head 'Not again... I've gotta door!' The man quietly moped. As Gin and Tiago swiftly leaped up and off one another all the while turning their bodies about to face the genin, Tiago landing first with a strong stance as Gin landed atop his back in seated, legs crossed in meditative fashion as a wide smile was revealed with a thumps up and wink toward the team. A seeming shine coming off his teeth on the right side like a tiny star. "Pretty cool, huh?! Haha. Anyways.... The names Gin Inuzuka and this as your now aware is Tiago! My Nin Ken for life!" He introduced himself excitedly while gesturing to the already known Tiago. "Would of been here sooner but.... Haha, I've never been that punctual to be honest and besides life is felt and lived by the moment! Not exact and planned out. So prepare to learn the style of Gin and know life as a shinobi!" The jonin explained with a touch of honesty and clear, high level of energy and charisma. "So lets order and begin the totally cool intros, huh? I'll start off to show you the way I mean and then you there Blue shall follow and so and so forth. Cool? Right."

"Like I said I'm Gin of the Inuzuka clan. I'm a pretty chill guy most of the time so let's keep it cool here! We'll be together for some time after all and bound together for life as pack eight. Anyway, I like meat so that's why I chose here for a jam session. Additionally I'm a energetic guy who loves adventure and being part of nature! Nothing better then feeling that cool breeze and breathing in that fresh air under the bright sun and beneath the starry sky and queen moon up there. Let's see..... as for dreams pretty simple, live life and stick to my nindo, my personal ninja code on way to becoming a truly boss shinobi! And oh yeah..... I usually don't hate, but mushrooms and eggplants are definitely not my thing. Horrible edibles there." Gin shared with a smile quite stoked to finally have a chance as jonin sensei for a new generation of genin. "While Tiago here, well he loves meat and playing around in the forests like me. He's pretty chill too, just a big fluff ball and total softy less you threaten him or his pack. Oh, probably should mention he's quite the excited pup when he sees a ball, to him the bigger the better to chase around and lunge himself on." Gin shared some details about his pal Tiago.

"So now let's see.... Ive got your files but it's a jam session not a read-a-thon so your up Naoaki! Let'sssss Hear Yoouuuuu!!!!!" Gin spoke with a lively, positive drawn out instruction with a smile and giving a point of his finger to the blue haired lad then turning it into a thumbs up with a shine from teeth smile.

As Reiji arrived at Kozue, the place his dear dear students have chosen to dine for their first introduction, something that told Reiji that his students were quite well off in terms of finance. He waited in line as lunch time was known to be quite busy over here and was soon joined by one of his students, it was Yoko! How adorably tiny she was! But Reiji knew better than to speak that aloud as a certain Hoshino has taught him well over his own genin days to never mention the height of another, especially a girl's no less. Reiji cast Yoko a kind smile and stayed silent for the most part until he heard another voice enter their area.

He turned around to look down and see his other student, Senju Chouko make her appearance. He glanced between Yoko and Chouko, not only noticing the similarity in their names -something which he should be mindful and careful of- but also noticing their similarity in their choice of fashion. How cute! Were all the genin girls like this? That was quite adorable in his eyes. He smiled over at Chouko as he waved a hand in the air while replying back happily, "oh it's quite alright dear one! So Yoko-chan and Chouko-chan hm? You two are so adorable! Sensei can't wait to see the other two! Speaking of the other two..." Reiji looked about, his purple hues glancing over the crowd thanks to his height advantage. Frowning, he looked back down at the two girls while saying sadly, "oh, I can't seem to find them...oh! Looks like we're going in! Hopefully they will arrive soon enough, otherwise sensei will eat their share haha." He winked over at the two girls before walking in to take a seat at one of the tables.

Crossing his knees and folding his hands together, Reiji flashed the two kunoichis a charming smile as he spoke up, "so tell me about yourself while we wait for the other two hm? Like your name, age, fighting style, what you like to do and what you want to learn? Sensei wants to know all about my dear students!"

Meanwhile somewhere in the village, a tall figure with dark midnight blue hair walked about the place with no destination set in stone. One side of his bangs were longer than the other and it swayed about as he walked. A small smile tugging at his lips as he played with the long sleeve of his dark blue kimono. He held back a chuckle as he wondered how his dear 'teammates' are faring. Perhaps he should drop by and say hello? Ah but would they appreciate it...? Watching as young shinobis ran about, he can only wonder what will take place.

A nickname? Shun-Kun? Golden Shun-Kun? Rhyming? Hmm.... The thoughts of each certainly ran through his mind after hearing Emiko's enthusiastic approach with them and her notice of rhymes. A genuine smile at the remark of his name rhyming with kun and the mention of his golden eyes being added into the nickname. "Golden Shun-Kun?" He spoke in question form though curious of the nickname it did have a rather nice ring to it. "It's rather nice sensei!" Shun smiled while taking note of Hiro's nickname. Followed by her notice of Enma and utilizing her rhyming to provide him with a nickname of sorts as she called him over. "Freckle-Boy-McCoy and Mean string bean?" He recounted in his head and chuckled softly, while waiting to hear further instruction from Emiko.

The boys mind came to a pause when he heard Emiko sensei speak about their teamwork not being the best and this brought a smile back to his face, while she continued with it being fine as they've only just came together and they could use this time to get to know each other with Emiko sensei herself starting off. "A true challenge to start us off...... I'm glad. A challenge could only help strengthen and shape a shinobi into who they are meant to be. Strive to be." Shun offered casual and stoic of tone simply providing his feeling on the matter. Before going silent once more to listen as their new teacher spoke introducing herself and giving a glimpse into her character.

Now Shun personally could never accurately guess as to how others may feel or react to such reveals. But it was rather nice, a chance to get to know his new teammates without any extra work on his part while it being so early on. Meanwhile the jonin mentioned liking Taijutsu most while in combat and liking to spend time outside under the sun with those she cares about, loving adventures.... Loads of them by the sounds of it. Deciding to give it a whirl and try his hand at this 'Get to know' business Shun took a breath and began with a open mouthed pause, oh dear, what would he say? Really his life was likely quite dull to others. 'Do they even like puppets? Know what the sands of Sunagakure are like? Or what about the roaming sands in a heavy wind or a heat induced mirage providing a illusion of a oasis?' Shun pondered to himself with a frozen seemingly mouth and expression. "Umm.... hmm.... I suppose I should begin like Emiko Tachibana sensei, yes? Of course. My name is Shun, I've no surname like others, just Shun. I was born in the land of wind apart of the hidden sands of Sunagakure... My dreams were once obvious but now I suppose with relocation comes new dreams? Uhh... Side tracked rambles. I like art, carving wood and shaping them into proper workings of a puppet and adding to my collection with each potential masterpiece. Adding little details here and there, inserting different tools like weapons and gadgets.... Hmm I'll move on before I bore, in terms of combat preference I suppose while I'm capable in a few styles, I much rather using the puppet technique and making use of my creations earliest friends I suppose. I can no longer strive to become the fifth Kazekage, but I can still work towards achieving part II of my dream, goal, of becoming a Puppetmaster and make my mark on the world like none other before me. That is all..." Shun spoke hoping he hadn't taken too long and been considerate enough to know how dull it could be, so had kept it brief like he meant to do.

Nara Adohira
location: Konoha, ninja academy // interaction: teammates

At the reminder that there team was a purely testosterone ruled one, Adohira nodded, unsure of how to reply on his feelings about that. Girls made him faintly uncomfortable anyway, particularly the quirky girls in this class. But how he felt about it didn't matter much, did it? It just meant there'd be less drama relating to the types of things girls were concerned about. So maybe it would be an advantage of sorts? Adohira let a soft laugh bubble from his lips. It was an amusing train of thought but one he was willing to put into words.

He was just parting his lips to voice his ideas on that when he lost control of his body. Or to be more specific, it froze. From his toes to the most microscopic hair on his head. A quick eyeball assession of the classroom alerted him to the fact that he wasn't the only one stuck in such a predicament - his own teammate was frozen as well. Stress was beginning to be vocalized loudly across the classroom but Adohira didn't hear any of it.

So this is what it's like to be under an advanced jutsu.

He decided he wasn't particularly enjoying the experience. Then Kyari-sensei was audibly asserting her control over the classroom and their teachers were beginning to make star-studded entrances. He released a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding as awareness shifted back into his limbs, feeling a sort of cold relief settle over him.

Okay, now we'll get to meet the sensei and then everything will fall into place - "Or not." he grumbled audibly as the news was broken that their sensei was going to be on the roof. He let his eyes tread the short distance over to where Ran was, rolled his eyes at him amusedly. This was shaping up to be quite the morning.

Then Ran was rushing ahead.

Adohira paused a couple of moments just to gather his bearings as the classroom emptied around him. He took a couple of short breaths to quiet his own slow-acting nerves before following Ran up the route to the roof. He caught the end of Ran's words as he rounded the corner - So our last teammate has finally deigned to grace us with his presence?

He eased into the space beside Ran, giving the Uchiha a short acknowledging nod. "I'm Adohira Nara."

He took a moment to study the space around them, there sensei wasn't here yet.

"I guess we just wait then." he folded his arms behind his head, laying down so he could at least wait comfortably if nothing else.

"Meanie! String bean! Mean String Bean! Stop being such a loner and get over here!"

A vein appeared on the right side of Enma's head as he glared towards Emiko, the older woman's attempt to address him causing his blood to boil rather viciously; the dark haired youth unsurprisingly peeved at the name she had given him. Had Emiko been a student or someone his age, Enma would have without hesitation assaulted her for daring to attempt making a joke in his direction, much less ridicule him with such a disrespectful name. Clenched fist and gritted teeth were the most he could get away with in this situation, knowing full well that he lacked the actual strength to back up his attitude in this circumstance. Thus should he attempt to physically take action in defiance to her name calling, he'd have probably come out of the scuffle in a far more dibilitating condition than Emiko.

Unwavering, Enma proceeded to walk over to the group; his sinister watch ever focused upon Emiko as he brazenly disregarded Hiro and Shun once more; the older woman's attention returned to the latter two genin as she continued with her introduction. Unneccesarry noise carried upon the wind as far as Enma was concerned, thus he paid little heed to her backstory the closer he got to the group; merely pocketing both hands and stopping as he got within a yard or so of the group; the three opposing members all considerably shorter then him. The next to speak was Shun; the puppeteer from Sunagakure who presently stood to the right side of where Enma stood. Without moving too much, Enma shifted his head ever so slightly to his right and glared down at the outsider, listening to him as he babbled about his hopes and dreams; the 'touching' reveal almost causing Enma to puke as he reluctantly endured Shun's introduction.

"Enma Hiashi" he spat. It went without question that Emiko was already privy to the important information, he saw no need to tell her what she already knew just for the sake of forging a relationship with the team. "My hopes and my dreams do not concern any of you; nor do yours concern me. I care little for this charade; this false friendship and sense of comradry the three of you are attempting to create... The three of you are merely stepping stones to me.. nothing more and nothing less" Enma added, folding his arms as he finished.

Kaigo looked up from his knees, watching as both Awani and Tenma joined in the exercise. He actually throught Awani might've beaten his seven step record, whereas Tenma just exploded the tree with his excess chakra. "Control your kekkai genkai," He scoffed. He'd seen Tenma use it only once before, it was obvious that he was getting better at it, even if he couldn't quite completely control it yet, though he definitely wasn't going to tell the other genin that. Letting out a short laugh as Awani fell, Kaigo strolled over at his own pace, extending hand to pull her out from the floor.

"You're not gonna get distracted by Tenma the whole training session, are 'ya?" He joked, leaving with a smirk before resuming his exercise. His expression blanked out, reverting to it's emptiness as he charged at the tree, chakra flowing through his feet. His initial leap flew him through the air, leaving large foot marks in the mud beneath him before clinging himself onto the tree with his chakra-infused feet. Kaigo continued a stride upwards the tree, pushing his limit in spite of doubt. Finally, he'd reached 14 steps high on the tree before slamming down onto the floor in a large thud. "Ugh..."

Kai continued at the exercise over and over again, he was going to prove himself to this new sensei that he definitely didn't need the others around him. He could be a one-man squad if need be, but only if he could beat them in this exercise.

  • TÉA SUZUNA | Konoha: Home, Training Grounds | FEELING: Amused| INTERACTION(S): Rumi, Shin, Chiharu-sensei

    59708b2247e04ab633d051c09d1d390b.jpg

Man, oh man, was this amusing. Rumi seemed to be trying her hardest to get something, anything, just a teeny tiny reaction from Chiharu-sensei, and the lady was immune to it all. Téa smiled for a bit as she watched Chiharu walk over to the lake; her smile faltered as Chiharu literally began walking on water. Oh, wait, she'd seen this before. Her brother Seiji had played a similar trick on her. He'd told her it had been his little secret, that "a ninja never reveals his tricks, duh, Téa. She couldn't wait to see the look on his face once he realized she knew how now, too. Well, first was actually trying it before she said she knew what she was doing. "Absolutely!" Téa's eyes gleamed. She was good at chakra control, so this shouldn't be too hard, right? She walked over to the edge of the water, taking a deep breath in.

It seemed simple enough in practice. She'd observed Seiji enough, even if he hadn't told her anything. The trick was in how much chakra was under her feet. If there was too little chakra, she'd get just as soaked as Chiharu expected. If there was too much, then Téa might push off of the pond and flip, yet again getting soaked. Oh well, at least the pond didn't look too deep at first glance. Téa took another deep breath, closing her eyes. She imagined her chakra, swirling and following a path deep within her. Once she felt like she had a good "view", Téa slowly centered a swirl towards the bottom of her feet. Once she felt like she had enough chakra under each foot, Téa opened her eyes again. It was worth a shot now that she felt prepared. Téa braced herself but kept her confidence, stepping out onto the lake...

...And she let go of the breath she hadn't realized she was holding as she realized she was doing it. Téa was on top of the water! Thank goodness that extra chakra control training had come in handy. Now, she just needed to stay focused and she wouldn't fall in. Téa walked further on the pond, stopping about halfway between Shin and Rumi and Chiharu. She gave her teammates a thumbs up, a little afraid to speak, just in case it would make things more difficult. Téa wondered if Shin or Rumi would go next, then she wondered if Ekiji was alright. Hopefully the girl was just lost.

"Why won't this–" A male voiced, annoyed. "–center already??" Shinohara Takeshi was currently in his room trying to set his attire exactly the way he wanted it to be. Honestly he wasn't paying any mind to the time and instead focused on making everything perfect, like he always did... And about ten minutes later the brunet was putting his 'finishing' touches. Afterall, a shinobi should look presentable in any situation, right? Taking one quick glance back into the mirror Takeshi sighed in content, crimson red orbs gleaming in apparent confidence for a second before returning to their normal, unreadable state.

It didn't take long for the jōnin to locate where him and his students would be meeting. From what he could tell, everyone was already there, judging by the two dots of blonde and a third dot of ebony he saw from a distance away. However, he didn't feel the need to rush, so he ended up walking the entire way there at a slow, comfortable pace, which ultimately cost him and the rest of Team 3 many more minutes of their time meant to be spent together.

"Good evening," Greeted Takeshi as he stood in front of the three. His irises went from one to the other as to pick up any noticeable information about them. "As you three know, my name is Shinohara Takeshi. It seems we don't have all the time in the world, so let us get introductions over with before we assess our skills and come up with a team formation." His voice was rather blank as he spoke, although he intentionally made it clear that the underlying words behind his brief intro were something along the lines of, 'lets work well together'.

"Now, tell me about yourselves."

The second time he attempted to climb the tree was even less successful than the first, him not even reaching the tree before the ground below him suffered an unintentional blow from the boy's Kekkei Genkai. He heard Awani and Kaigo sparking up casual conversation from next to him but he payed them no mind, and he couldn't necessarily catch Kaigo's snarky comment about him due to the loud sound that came from directly under him.

The third time, however, was more far successful than the first two–Tenma having made it up about halfway due to him sending less chakra to the soles of his feet, albeit inadvertently, as well as the fact that he kinda sprinted up the bark of the tree rather than just running at a normal pace like he did before. When he lost his footing it wasn't because of his Kekkei Genkai going out of control either, allowing for him to swipe his kunai over the tree to make a mark and land on some nearby branch. Despite him making significant progress that time around, he wasn't sure if he could do it again, seeing as he was aware of his lack of chakra control. Not that he'd ever admit it.

From his place on the branch, Tenma grinned down at his two teammates and pointed down at them. "Who's the loser now, huh?!" he taunted confidently. If it meant one thing he already knew that he needed to learn how to direct less chakra to his limbs and become accustomed to it to walk up the tree in a prospering manner, so he figured that once he got used to doing that this would become no problem for him.

The woman listened intently to Shun's introduction, nodding along to what the boy had to say. Learning about the origins of others was always fascinating to her and when she heard him saying he was from the Land of Wind her interest was piqued even more. Her brow raised when the genin halted his passionate talk about his likes, or more specifically, the art of puppetry, and instead went on to his fighting style and purpose for becoming a Shinobi. Emiko's lips curled up into a smile once again as he finished his introduction, and not too long after, a new voice joined the conversation.

The voice belonged to Enma, who hadn't really spoken before until now. His introduction came off as cold and fairly uncaring in comparison to Shun's, which didn't really phase Emiko in the slightest. He went on to reveal pretty much nothing about himself aside from his extreme distaste for just about everything, going from 'nothing about me concerns the likes of you' to 'you guys are fake as hell and are worthless to me'. Glancing at Hiro and Shun, the only female of the team shrugged, looked back at Enma, playfully stuck her tongue out at him, and turned her attention back to Hiro who began to speak next.

Hiro's introduction seemed warm enough, him mentioning that he was also from Sunagakure and what his primary battle tactic was. Well, this was up until the green-haired boy countered Enma's earlier statement about everyone else being mere stepping stones to him. Emiko's dark irises shifted back and forth between Hiro to Enma, expecting the latter to retaliate in some way. Before anyone one else could say anything though, the jōnin cut in, her smile still evident on her features even throughout the small bit of tension that raised between the genin.

"Wow, so two of us are from Sunagakure? That's awesome! I came from Kiri myself," She began. "And it's okay, Mean String Bean, I won't leave you out! Your papers say you're from right here in Konoha–now don't worry, that doesn't make you any less special than the rest of us, but 'looks like you're the only native in Team 10!"

The gleam in her eyes was quick to change as she began to go onto the next topic. Pulling out four pieces of paper, she handed one to each of her students and held the last one for herself. "Before we get into anything, it'd be good to find out what chakra nature you have an affinity for. This doesn't necessarily means it aligns with what you know now, but everyone has one... For example, I primarily use Wind, but I have an affinity for Lighting. See?" The paper that was held in between her index and her middle finger crumpled instantly. "To find out yours, just do what I did–transfer a little bit of your chakra to the paper. If it crumples like mine did, it means lighting. If it becomes soaked, then it's water. If it burns then fire, crumbling into dust indicates earth, and splitting in half means you're more adept for wind. From what I know the academy doesn't go into the topic of chakra natures aside from just naming them, so once we figure out everyone's, I'll go further into detail."
