They had done it. After a long and ruthless battle against many enemies and ultimately, Ootsutsuki Kaguya, the allied forces came out victorious… It ended with Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke sealing the goddess away with their obtained powers.

There was actually a long story leading up to that point… beginning with the consumption of the fruit that gave birth to all shinobi. It reached up to to point where Naruto and the Rookie 9 graduated from the academy to start their countless number of adventures. They met many friends and foes during this time, a major one being the Akatsuki, whom they ended up defeating. Even after the Fourth Shinobi War, they established a world of peace for the future generations to come, starting the adventures of Boruto and his friends…

Is that what you wanted me to say? I mean… Okay, those things did happen, but you might as well just forget about it. Haha, I bet it would’ve been interesting if I were to be the one who ate the fruit instead of Kaguya. Aren’t you curious? I know I am…

~~

The RP starts off at about the same time period Naruto starts off in (plot wise), but the events leading up to that point were fairly different, thus changing how some things worked in current. Not only that, but it seems like the original Naruto cast never existed, despite there being some of the same clans and villages. Of course, no one actually knows that…

This RP has a long-term predetermined plot that will be lead on by myself. As such, there will be multiple arcs. How will your character react to the challenges thrown their way?

« Most characters should start off as weak, measly Genin. (That being said they're probably no older than 15)
« Post length should be enough to advance the plot in some way. (no one liners)
« I intend for this to be a long-term RP.
« Communication is important.
« Bijuu are not available right off the bat.
« Swords of the Mist do not exist in this timeline.

I'm extremely interested in this.
I’d join.
Great! Glad you guys are interested.

Seems neat. Can you please explain the combat and jutsu system though?
Thanks ^ ^ As for the system, it depends. For combat, I'm hoping people don't need one to keep fights more realistic, but if people struggle with that (or, if people request for it), there's a system I have in mind regarding dice and the implication of stats/other character factors. It may be a teensy bit complicated depending on how I go about it.
Jutsu on the other hand, I won't require people to list the jutsu their characters know (unless it's non-canon), but once again this is more of a trust thing. If people try to, say... Give their 11-year-old Genin an A ranked jutsu, then that would be a problem. If anything the Genin should have primarily Academy-leveled and D Ranked jutsu, maybe the occasional C rank. More jutsu will probably be learned as the characters grow throughout the RP.

Is there a character requirement? i.e. minimum 2 chars per people? I'm interest but I can only probably manage 1 more character

There's actually going to be a character limit which i haven't decided on. But you're more than welcome to play one character ^ ^

I have a brother sister idea, the family’s jutsu would be weapon specialists of some sort.
Like tenten a bit.

Was going to ask, my main was going to be a boy, genin or chunnin at most.
However his sister, more of a side character would be like kakashi, reaching jonin or anbu before age ten.
Can this work?

Well I have thought of a much simpler system than the one I remember from the last Naruto roleplay of yours. If we look at the main reason for a battle system: fair fights that force people not to be too favoring of your character. In the RP I currently GM, I have thought of a system that is simple yet effective in doing this. When fighting a character can only do one of three things per post(no double posting for player character): Attack, Foresight (react to an attack), Move. Under this system players are given a nice set of options that that can be further important depending on extra mechanics or conditions of a battle field. If you respond a Attack with a Attack or Move-you still take damage from opponent. So player has to decide, to be aggressive or try to setup a better offense or defense next round. If you respond with Foresight, you can attempt to avoid or reduce damage. The player's character will have to have a realistic counter to the attack, meaning that if it like a giant fireball this option is out of the question as a response OR trying to stop a million kunai by dodging will have to be under character's physical ability. Because Foresight is purely defensive and under the restriction of realism, there will be no fights where a character just dodges every attack.
So what do you think of my patented Attack, Foresight, Move system?

Still relies on people writing fairly but it’s not bad.

Easier for GM to judge and people, during my testing, have evolved to follow it pretty strictly while having some hilarious and awesome creativity in fighting. For the simplicity and effectiveness, I loooove this system.

Ooo, a bukijutsu specialist familiy, huh? Sounds cool.

Well I'm not sure how I feel about her being that high leveled, but I have a few questions regarding that. How old would his sister be? Are you willing to have her be more of an NPC rather than a main character? Or, alternatively, would you be willing to have her be the sensei of a genin team?

That seems like a cool system, although yeah, it still requires a bit of trust. We could use it if you wanted to, since it's actually quite reasonable, and not only I but other players could hawk-eye people's posts to see if the fight's being fought fairly. We could also take into account the characters' stats, since if someone with a 18 of 20 speed attacks someone with a 4 of 20 speed, it's almost guaranteed to hit. That sorta thing.

Yea when I say side character I mean more NPC or sensei of a team would be hilarious.
I’d say she’d be seven or ten seeing as kakashi was twelve when he was jonin apparently. I always thought younger..

In for this!
Feel free to join in on the OOC!

The way I imagined it was that she was a little older than the genin (if the team's sensei) LOL, then again she's your character! I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be if there was a Jonin who was as young as that since Kakashi was a special case and even then he was older when the storyline started. If that made any sense;;;

I had plans of the little sister being a special case, and the main character always being compared to his much better little sister,
Leaving him always trying and no one caring at his effort because his sister is literally doubling his attempts when she doesn’t try.

It was more going to be for “lols” how a kid is a jonin, but I can understand why you don’t want me to voice/control someone with said skill when everyone else is genin.

I'm planning on making a character with the Sharingan dojutsu but I have to ask first, since the main characters of the show aren't canon in this, would the Uchiha clan still have been wiped out?

I agree it would've been pretty funny, huh. I can see ways of doing that without making her so young/as strong, but still better than your main. In any case, it makes for an interesting backstory!

You are correct, the Uchihas are alive and well! I'm assuming you want me to reserve a Sharingan spot for you too as well!

I swear sharingan is so unfair to every other genin.
