Mudd looked at Kaleb. "Thank you." Sage went over. "Head back to my place Mudd. You tried. Guess that spell still needs a little work." The demon smiled. "Its alright. It worked for a good amount of time. Summon me if you need me."
The guy still tried to get Mudd. Kalen absorbed the material of the aluminum bat. "I said that wasn't nice!"
Mudd sighed seeing him try to attack. "Humans..." she vanished. Sage glared at the guy. "She was just trying to help. There is no need to attack when people are already injuried"
The man tried to punch Kaleb. He held his fist in pain. "Seriously?" He asked.
Sage put her hand on the man's shoulder. "That's enough. Violence wont help you here."
He looked at her. "But the kid's a freak!" He said. "Gee thanks." Kaleb said.
"Enough. Either help us here or go home. We have no time for this" sage sai
"Who are you reffering too?" Both the guy and Kaleb said
"How about both of you " sage said and went back to helping citizens
Kaleb ran into the burning building and held out his hands. He began to absorb the fire.
Sage worked on getting civilians to safety, moving them away from the fire and trying to treat any injuries.
Kaleb was putting out the fire all on his own.
After the fire was out and Sage moved all the civilians she went over to Kaleb. "Nice job"
He looked at her. "Not that most of those guys deserved to be saved but... thanks."
"We just have to be the bigger person. We better get out of here before the GCPD gets here" she said.
She starts heading back toward thier place.
Mudd was sitting inside eating an apple when they returned.
"I am not. I'm a demon." Mudd answered feeling no need to hide what she was since she figured Sage and Peter trusted them. Sage took a seat. "Shes a friend of ours."
"Hm." Kaleb said. "So... I've never absorbed fire before. And now I'm curious just how much I can absorb. Well I've never absorbed fire like that. I've become fire but... I've never absorbed in an energy form." He said. "Dude you want to test and experimenr with your abilities. You... Came to the right guy." Peter said.
"yeah Peter can help you out with that." Sage smiled. Mudd grabbed another apple and started eating it.
"Is it possible for you to eat too much of those?" He asked.
Mudd shrugged. "I dont know. It's just one of the few human foods that taste really good."
