    "And I haven't heard of Remnant. But yet again I haven't traveled outside the territories Kamura's Guild covers, until today I guess."
    He then paused, surprised by the mention of vale.
    "Wait, Vale? As in the Rotten Vale? I didn't think anyone could live there! Let alone there be an academy! The Fifth Fleet must've built more than I thought, to make a place so full of death in the New World habitable. Wonder why that wasn't in any of the Guild reports." He pondered for a moment, misinterpreting Yang due to the differences in their worlds.
    "I don't currently hunt in a team, which is why my Hunter's rank is currently so low. I've been trying to find some partners but none of the veteran Guild Hunters wanna team up with a rookie like me. Despite me single handedly defeating magnamalo. 'You havent faced an Elder Dragon yet, you don't know true danger! You're half wyverian, you'll slow the human Hunters down, wyverians aren't meant to be hunters!' That's what they all say. It's frustrating. But I'm slowly building up my rank despite this. I'll just have to show them wyverians can be more than just researchers!" He grinned, unintentionally ranting.

As the raft moved ever closer to the shore, Astra's HUD cast a warm blue outline over each of the figures on the beach; determining them of no acute threat as she noticed one of the figures running up to the beach was holding a rope. Glancing down at the water, a quick depth readback confirmed that she was able to stand on the bottom. Grabbing her blade handle and tucking it underneath her overcoat, she grabbed her rifle off her back and freehanded the assault weapon by the handrest before jumping into the ocean and wading her way up the beachead. When her boots touched the foreshore, she secured her weapons to her person and trekked through the sand toward the three women. Each of their appearances caused her mechanical irises to visually rotate and swivel around the pupil from her subconscious fascination. She smiled curtly at the trio, speaking in a soft-spoken Northwestern voice that had a slight mechanical tinge trailing on the syllables, making most words sound strained in places. "Hello. My name is Astra, thank you for inviting me here. Do you need help with securing the raft?" She had no idea how to word her introduction without it sounding like an objective purpose, and mentally chided herself for that.

I don't know who fifth fleet is But i live there! and I'm not letting anyone rub my home country run it's name down into the ground!"She shouted her eyes noticeably red as she was angry. She jabbed a finger at Daisuke's chest angrily as she spoke that.

    But she then takes in a deep breath to calm herself down, as she then looks at daisuke with a small sigh. Until she looked at Hunter with curiosity and confusion noted in her now lilac eyes as her brow raised up."Magmamalo? Elder Dragon? I've never heard of those kinds of Grimm before."She said quizzically.

The Scarab stared on out to shore, taking in the resort and beach’s visual features one detail at a time. The unknown substance that this raft was on seemed similar to the other areas they had found it in the forest. Some rippling, others staying still like a solid.. The land material after it was bright against thr Sun’s light, standing out more than the shiny squares riddling that giant gray pillar sitting on it. They weren’t sure what it was, but curiosity was the force driving them to perform these next actions:


The Scarab scuttled over the wall of the raft, feeling a cool breeze from thr ocean’s temperature and overall weather. To it, the distance between them and the shore wasn’t all that bad, maybe just to get a feel of the substance below, they would go in a steady pace as they hopped in. The next second, their lower body was encased in an oddly comforting cold sensation.. It can’t really elaborate on the topic yet, but should they find some means of communication with these other creatures, then Scarab would likely ask them of the sense they were going through.

Now that that was done with, their legs felt as though the surface was more grippy with each little step on their six legs.. All of which feeling as though they were stabbing into pillows. This continued on until they reached the Shore, and upon doing so, the dry sand’s warmth gave Scarab a bit of a jump, quite literally. With a Thump and a Jump, a plum of dry and wet sand flew around as the Scarab landed on its shell out of surprise. (It is up to character interpretation whether or not some sand gets on them as a result) Dangling its legs momentarily before it flopped back over with the help of opening its shell. It still wasn’t used to the sensation yet, so it cautiously skittered over to Amber, Ever,Ukiyo, Envy, and Astra, all of which Scarab saw as:

It didn’t really know how to visually describe Ever.

An individual with a mix of reds and whites, seemingly having grey wings on her back too. (Amber)

A taller individual, that oddly has metallic spots all around its body.. (Astra)

A rather unique individual who’s hair gave it an unfavorable resemblance to a Certain Ring..

And this individual that had a similar color to the sky.. hmm.. (Ukiyo)

Safe to say that the Desk sized bug was interested, so it shuffled its shell to make some sort of introductory sound, though to others it sounded like a sword unsheathing. It then let out a greeting chitter, tapping its mouth-like pincers tap against eachother as it looked to everyone.

    "How do you not know what a wyverian is? We're everywhere! It's wyverians that designed and built most of the weapon types we use! They designed the airships! They're master craftsmen and the best researchers the Guild has!" Daisuke responded, surprised as well.
    "Woah woah woah! I meant no disrespect!" He held his hands up placatingly towards Yang.
    "All the reports say the Rotten Vale of the New World is a carrion pit. Literally. It's where monsters go to die. There's nothing wrong with that-- wait, did you say country? The Rotten Vale is a region, not a country. Something isn't adding up..." he began to ponder, but was quickly distracted by Yang's question.
    "Grimm? Is that what you call monsters? Thought the whole world called them monsters, but what would I know? And how do you not know what an Elder Dragon is, either?? They're only the most dangerous, biggest, strongest monsters around. They threaten entire ecosystems! Most even have the power to end life as we know it! It's why us Hunters have to keep them in check, along with all the other monsters. Magnamalo isn't an Elder Dragon, but it sure is close. It follows the rampage to feed on the dead monsters, or hunt the injured ones. It's. Really big and really strong. It's hellfire blight is no joke either. And damn it's fast! About as fast as a rocket! The first time I saw one, Iori, Yomogi and I were almost swallowed in one bite! If it weren't for the tunnel we ran into it would've gotten us for sure. We were also weak and injured from defending the village from the Rampage, too. So there was no way we could have fought it off."
    He paused, remembering the fight he had in the Shrine Ruins with the beast.
    "It was definitely worth killing it, though. If not for the safety of the village, then for my new switch axe! It's made from Magnamalo shell, scute, blades, and ghostprisms!"

It felt confused, β€œ Though what’s a Mimiga?” Was it some kind of creature or human it was very confused.

"let me get this straight, Wyverians is this race, where they're master craftsmen and researchers, that a guild has?"She questioned. All of this was getting her more and more suspicious. Looking at Daisuke with a harsh look still mad at him for insulting her home country, before she raised a brow confused."Rotten Vale? a carrion pit? monsters die there? And yes i did say country, so what your problem?"she asked.

    The Blonde began to wonder as she had a feeling something was certainly off like very off about this picture. Not before looking at Daisuke taken aback."That's what we call the monsters living in remnant, As i seriously don't know either okay?"She asked. Listening to Daisuke explain about them and him telling a story about him encoutering one and mentioning his axe she looked interested and surprised."So the monster doesn't desentegrate when it dies?"She asked curiously."Also can i see your axe?"She asked curious.

    "You said you haven't heard of the New World, and that Vale was a country. It's not adding up with what I know. They're probably two entirely different places. My bad." He scratched the back of his head sheepishly, then moved on.
    "Of course the monsters don't just disintegrate. They're living creatures same as us. Just 'cause they're big and scary doesn't mean they deserve to die needlessly. That'd mess up the entire ecosystem." He shrugged before lifting his axe off his back to show Yang.
    "It's pretty cool, huh? It's got the blast phial type, so when it discharges built up energy it explodes."

"I would do it all myself, but it'd be a major risk to my circuits, and I'd rather not be waterlogged." Ukiyo mentioned. She walked over to the nearby dock that extended a few feet out to see, and pointed at the oncoming raft. "Hurry up, they're coming! We have to tie the raft to the dock so it won't drift away while people are getting off."

Ukiyo put aside the clipboard she was holding and tucked a pen behind her ear, dropping the butt of her cigarette and stomping on it. Her skin-colored metal exterior was shining in the sun to the point where you had to squint slightly to look at her. She was definitely an android.

Astra nodded, taking the rope in her hand as it was offered and heading out in a brisk stride to the edge of the boardwalk. Spotting one of the metal hooks embedded into the floor of the wooden structure, she quickly fastened the rope around the hook and tied it securely in place. The raft itself had drifted closer to the shore, the rope now within throwing distance as she wound the remaining bundle in an underhanded grip with her right hand. She raised her voice; the metallic trill sharpening with artificial cracks and breaks as she called out to those still present on the floating platform. "Heads up, tether to raft!" Pulling her right arm down and her hand back, she wound up her movement before releasing the body of the spool with a flick of her wrist; the rope sailing through the air and contacting the rightmost corner. Hopefully, someone caught it.

The maiden nodded as the goddess spoke, not that she understood what the woman was saying. She understood the words themselves but the context of others a vacation and a Bermuda were not fully clicking. Still the location did confirm one thing for her, this was not her world. While no archstone had been touched she had moved the the lands that would be consumed by fog to this new one.

" I am sorry my lady but it seems as though I am an uninvited guest on this vacation and in this world" The maiden explained "In my world there is no Bermuda and the world itself will be swallowed by a colorless fog soon anyways"

The kid had been woken up suddenly by the call towards the raft, much to Fozeanu’s ire at being unable to subtly wake him up like she always had.

*TWAP!* β€œAcK-!” He was promptly smacked off the seating row by the rope, still having luckily caught it.

β€œOuwie..” He lightly groaned, rubbing his cheek as he held onto the tossed item.

Irene, meanwhile was quick to verbally confront the culprit.

β€œOi! Watch your aim Smartass-! Mmph!”

β€œIrene! Languange! There’s children around.” Zeanu shut the Kaimatachi up by lightly slapping her hand over her mouth, meanwhile giving Arelson the worried glance asking if he was ok.

β€œGOT IT!” He called out to the one who sent it while giving Zeanu the look that confirmed he was alright, though the already growing bruise on his cheek from falling said otherwise.

"For the most part, yeah they just decompose. We use parts of them to make armor and weapons, though. This switch axe is made from magnamalo, and my armor is made from Barioth." He then paused to consider her question on negative emotions.
"Hmm. Maybe some do, but most don't in my experience. That sounds more like a trait an Elder Dragon would have. Like maybe Fatalis. Or maybe like that wind serpent monster that Hinoa could read the thoughts of. We still don't know much about that monster."
Then, at the mention of weapon forms, Daisuke nodded.
"Of course! It's a switch axe, which means it can switch into a sword! I'll show you, looks like we made it to shore. Would hate to tip over the raft."
He hopped off the raft and jogged up onto the beach, where he held out his switch axe before flipping a small mechanism on it. The blade of the axe suddenly slipped down towards the handle, and a large sword-like blade unfolded above it to form one massive, absolutely giant sword.
"See? Pretty cool, if I do say so myself." He grinned before asking "so what weapon do you use? You called it Ember Celica?"

Robo follows suit, curious who their roommates are and hopes they’re friendly. β€œ Would you tell me about yourself?” It was curious to know more about A.I.R.A seeing her as a new friend. Perhaps once it finds their room it could go for some polishing up and a tune up right about now. Robo hopes someone is an engineer or knows a thing or two about artificial intelligence.

What kind of supernatural occurrences are you talking about?” Envy can take care of themselves in a fight so a challenge wouldn’t be far off for them to take. Killing a homunculus isn’t easy, it would need plans and the secret to take them down is there. Of course Envy is always up for a challenge. They noticed the others are here so fresh meat ripe for the picking. What they wouldn’t give is to have one that shares the same brain cell such as them.

'At least it wasn't an anchor.' Astra mentally quipped at the young woman's outburst as the sleeping boy quite literally caught the rope with his head. Admittedly she hadn't intended to beam someone across the face with a slack of rope, and she was quick to shout back with a sincere-sounding, "Didn't mean for that to happen, my bad! See if the raft can be brought closer to the shoreline; it's secured from here!" Admittedly if it were any other raft with three people, she'd be able to effortlessly pull it onto the beach. There was no way it was happening with the number of people still onboard, however. The rope would certainly break before the craft even moved an inch through the water.

    "...Oh. I see." Amaterasu mumbled. "Well, I suppose you'll just have to stay, won't you?"

    Huh. She didn't know why on Earth the maiden was here, but something supernatural had occurred, that was for sure. Amaterasu looked over at Ever, Ukiyo, and Astra. "Oh, here, allow me to assist you." she said graciously, summoning her golden staff. With a simple wave of it, the raft was pulled over to the docks and fastened securely to it with the rope. "There, everyone can get off the raft safely." she added, her staff disappearing in a quick shimmer of light.

At him asking about her weapon, she smiles as she pulls her arm back in a similar motion to punch something, the Braceletes expand and change into resembling arm guards gauntlets."This is my weapon."She said with a smile.
