Emp seemed to notice Mochizuki's hand approaching. The little Daemon's head tilted as he watched, the skull making it hard to really know its reaction, though Emps razor sharp teeth were already lightly chomping as if building up to take a big bite out of her finger if she were to poke him. He wasn't fond of being poked so the aspect of getting a little bite in seemed quite good, though his plans were foiled as her second attempt was shifted away by Kiso.

Seji seemed as if he was uninterested, though keeping his attention on the others. The Jonin in training pressed at the bridge of his shades, adjusting them to be more secure over his eyes. He smirked lightly at Kiyoko's response. He shifted over, keeping his arms crossed. "Well now my little chicks, there is training to do and we must be quicks!" His words spoke as if to interupt Kiyoko's questioning as Emp let out a light growl in response.

"Shut it with the Rhyming. What do you have to be such a f..."

Seji propped his finger up almost as if purposely censoring away Emp's words. "Now now, questions should be saved till after the test, after all only one of you will pass and none of the rest. The path of a Shinobi is filled with obstacles to overcome, none other harder then your companions. Only one will get the glory of being my student to teach, while the rest of you... will just not be." He spoke as it was quite apparent he had failed to find a way to rhyme his last word giving up on it rather quickly.

"Yall have..." He spoke as he lifted one finger slowly, followed by another, then another. He held 3 fingers up as he seemed to play at the idea of a forth though sticking the other finger down. "Three hours to catch little Emp. The one who brings him back will get to keep the title of Genin, the rest... well... lets just say you might want to think of another job." He spoke standing straight up.

Emp glared a bit looking back at Seji. "What? I never agreed to such cr..."

Seji lifted his hand up interupting Emp once more. "Ready, set, okay, got the flow? Now go!" He spoke being quick with his words giving little chance for the students nor Emp for that matter to talk back.

the young woman showed promise... perhaps she would surpase him one day? No.. She will.

She must.

"We will get these to go actually, I planned to take all three of you to this place, but there is no harm done to showing you alone, we will eat at our training grounds, then... We will begin your first lesson."

The man stated as he counted out money to pay in advance, the man behind the counter quickly rung it in and began to cook, if she wanted to be strong, he had to start immediately, the other two will most likely be driven to become stronger as well, or so he will hope.. They have potential as well, so far... only ren was the unknown variable.. but he most likely would wish to use taijutsu or learn more ninjutsu.

regardless, he must remember to not be so soft... There was a time for it, but now wasn't such... he must work Suzume to the bone, the world will not be kind, so he must train them harder to make it seem easy in comparison.

Once the meals were gathered he thanked the man behind the counter.

He picked up both packages and looked to Suzume.

"Follow me, don't get left behind, if I lose sight of you, you do not eat."

With his stern words he walked out of the door, awaiting her to atleast exit the store... Seems the painters are out again today... Another young man joins the ranks.. hopefully they do a good job.

Standing out front with both packages within his arms he awaited the young lady's first step out... Once she did... he would run.

It was an early lesson in the academy to train the use of one's chakra into their legs to increase speed, jumping power and over all performance, a ninja without speed is a dead one.

First test, follow sensei!

@Orikanyo

The way Kazou-Sensei said this, told her that she would be taken to the training grounds alone, it made her feel special. Like she was being shown something important before anyone else. Of course, it was probably just circumstance, and she knew this, but that didn't lessen the excited feeling that welled up inside of her. So when Kazou made the challenge clear, it was very much just as clear that she prepared herself to meet that challenge head-on. She was an average student, but of her few talents one of her greatest was speed.

So with a few brief, subtle stretches that out of the restaurant only Kazou was really likely to notice, she followed him outside. These weren't stretches meant to relax or prepare just the muscles, but the flow of chakra through them as well. Her control of that chakra was shotty at best, but for the purpose of a competition of speed, it was usually enough. So now she was dashing at high speed, working on keeping up with Kazou.

Meanwhile, her brain starts working out the problem, and the possible solutions. Firstly, the challenge wasn't to keep up with her Sensei, at least not exactly. It wasn't even to not lose sight of him. It was for him not to lose sight of her. Assuming her sensei was always keeping track of her throughout the exercise, she'd already succeeded. With that victory secured, she moved on to the less obscure but equally unlikely answer that she needed to ensure he had a clear view of her through the entire route. If he made any sudden turns that line of sight would be broken immediately, and that would be cause for failure. Her thoughtful trance interrupted briefly to ensure she still had a 'lock' on the target, and if she did still see Kazou just fine, she'd go over the last and most likely of the answers to succeeding this test. Simply keep Kazou within her own line of sight, and ensure she was always tracking the real one. If Kazou meant to misdirect her so that she went too far out in one direction that was off path, she'd immediately fail the test in all possible ways. But her eyes simply weren't familiar enough to her for her to determine if the Kazou she was already following really was Kazou. So she studied him briefly against the person she'd first seen in Lady Renai's office, to be certain she wasn't being tricked already, while doing her best to maintain this distance to him.

Akihiro Tsubasha

Akihiro looked at Yuuki, a small smile on his face. 'Heh, I didn't expect Ago to find it. It's a surprise.' With his hands still crossed, he quickly reacted to the box opening by leaning back. He burst into a short laugh. "...I love this song." Akihiro said, smiling. "... I taught it would be more difficult. I actu-" He was interruped by the smoke bomb rolling, then filling the room with a fog. Coughing, Akirio managed to ook at te man.

"... I knew it would be too easy." Akihiro saw the man run away, then at the others. When Ago called them both to show them the traps, Akihiro nodded, patting her head. "... Well, I will try and do something..." Akihiro seems to be reaching for something behind him, but a smoke bomb falls and activates, engulfing the room again in thick smoke. After it, Akihiro was seen standing straight, not coughing and not speaking. He looked away and took to sit down near an entrance, holding a kunai. He was waiting for his 'prey', although, he seemed more silent than usual.

Yuuki Mifune

Yuuki couldn't help but arch an eyebrow at Ago's reaction. Honestly it might have been the first time he'd ever seen her mad about something. Let alone flat out pissed. Not that he blamed her, he was pretty miffed about the whole mess as well. But it seemed the kunoichi was already coming up with a plan. And from the sounds of it, it was hopefully going to send a little 'screw you' towards the ones behind the whole situation. A second smoke bomb exploded in the room. Seriously? Yuuki coughed a little, gripping the saya of his sword while it finally dissipated.

"Use what you can, lets show that flamboious pompous prick who hes teaching!"

Ago said as the smoke cleared for a second time. Yuuki only nodded, fighting the urge to cough again. He noticed the lack of response Akihiro had to the second wave of smoke. Instead the teammate drew a kunai and moved to sit down. But the cushion didn't sink any as the Genin sat down. Realizing what's going on, Yuuki only gave a single nod and started for the door that didn't have the tripwire laid out.

Reaching back into that pouch on his hip, Yuuki scattered several caltrops in that doorway. There were too many to be able to clear in a single jump. At least not without hitting your head on the doorway. There were either going to slow the jerk down enough for them to catch up, or send him back towards Ago's little trap. Either one worked in their favor really. With the trap of his own being set, the Genin moved further inside following the path the man likely took. Since it was looking like all these rooms were connected, he was bound to come across him before long. Yuuki kept his left hand on the saya. Thumb already unlocking the blade for a faster draw.

These two wanted to play rough? Then they were going to play rough right back.

"Stay with me now!' he warned once more as he started to jump up to the awning the buildings had nearby, going higher and higher until he got to the rooftops, as a Jonin he had obvious superiority over agility, however he wasn't putting the pedal to the metal just yet, the girl deserved some chance.

Once the Young land was up he decided to stay atop of the roofs for a good bit, following a target doesn't only mean being fast, but being able to dodge, duck and weave your way past various obstacles, as such, he made his path abit strange.

Under a line of laundry, over a chimney, jumping over a alley way between two building, under another set of laundry which he only slightly hoped shed get something stuck on her head as she went through, through an open sliding door on a balcony in an empty house and then heading down the stairs, through the open window just infront of the first flight of stairs and landing in the largely abandoned street before him.

Taking it slow now he walked left down the street, entering a small doorway on his right, it had no difference to the other houses along the way save for it's rusty iron door that looked like it had it's own fair share of knocks and beatings. Within the door was a long dark stairway leading downwards, downwards, downwards, downwards...downwards...

the stairs are almost seemingly endless, each step seems like one you have done so many times...

@Pinkalyn

SUZUME

The girl was agile, certainly, but she wasn't quite the endurance runner. With every obstacle she moved just a tiny bit slower. Every detour put her that much further behind Kazou. She was dodging rather magnificently, to be fair, as she would vault the chimney with a two-handed flip or slide under the clothesline to ensure she wouldn't lose too much time. Admittedly the longer rooftop jumps were also something of a weakpoint for her, as one of them left her slipping almost completely off the roof with one foot hanging over and the other sliding rapidly down, but she managed to recover and push herself forward so that she wouldn't lose sight of her Sensei. She couldn't let herself fail. That would mean she was weak, and even if Kazou was stronger than her right now, one day she would have to be stronger than that.

And so she kept the pace, falling only minor distances back and often making that lost space up on the flatter, more open spaces of this race, all the way up 'til Kazou slows down and lets up on the tired, panting Genin. She doesn't look like she could have kept up for very much longer, at least. Even this relatively short distance had worn her down, so she was internally thankful for the change of speed, following closely when Sensei approached that house. It looked rather similar to any other house on the street, minus a few dings, but inside was certainly not what she would have expected. A dark hallway leading down... down and down and down. Her first thought, looking down that stairway as Kazou would likely seem to vanish, was of panic. If this was part of the test, she would have to find a way to ensure that she didn't lose track of Kazou should he suddenly start dashing down the stairs. On the other hand, if they went down deeply enough, would it still count as being able to see her in such darkness? As she thought about this she followed along the path the growing sense of DeJa Vu looming over her.

Was she making progress? Could she still see her sensei? Were the end of the stairs near and how could she tell? Quickly she took a look back over her shoulder, then a long stare down into the darkness. How could she know if Kazou had started dashing? What if she'd already been left behind? What if she failed her test because she simply didn't bring something to light up the darkness? She didn't like it, but she knew what she had to do if she were to succeed in her current task. Closing her eyes she stopped mid-step, and began to weave together a short string of hand signs that allowed her to call on her bloodline trait, eyes re-opening with new sight. "Byakugan." she'd whisper, seeking through the darkness for her mentor and, should she be able to see his 'soul' ahead along the stairway, using that as a guide for how much she would have to pick up the pace. Of course, if this weren't merely a set of stairs, she would only know if Kazou was somehow out of place relative to the wandering Genin.

Kiso accepted her comrade words, a crazy fairy ...was that a thing now? Did such daemon like creature fly through the air, most of the suttle hints went over Kiso head. She would nod her head however as Kiyoko would mention that she was ok, Kiso attention would next be shifted back to Seji and his so called brother. Wait she thought did that make Seji a Daemon or the Daemon human she had inserted to much though as a blank stare would take shape over her face as she thought on this. She would look at seji as he spoke about dropping other students I f they couldn't catch the Daemon.

How reckless she thought, they had just got out of the academy and to be sent right back after they got out she refused it. Her own little pride wouldn't allow her to take one a step back, it was as he said it was done or die now. So if that the rules her "allies" were actually the thing holding her back, in a mental flash she thought of striking them down now...No that would be wrong she mentally declared , attacking them would be a traitorous act at least until they attacked her. She would focus her efforts to focusing down the Daemon, her hand shot to the hilt of the blade as she stood in front of her comrades,"Kiso doesn't agree with Seji methods, loyalty to one team is important as they are the one who watch your back when no one else can. Kiso will go back to the academy long as one of my comrades are allowed to get trained by Seiji" she would reply to her new teammates suddenly quick drawing her blade.

An explosion of light would emit outwards as Kiso used Flashing blade , the plan was to suddenly blind the Daemon and impair its ability to escape out of the gate.Hopefully this gave an opening for one of her comrades to snatch the being while it was impaired by the bright light though on the other hand she would've blinded herself as she forgot to close her own eyes ."Tisk my eyes! " , her free hand shot to her face as she began to rubbing her watering eyes she would be equally blind , her movement to stand in front of comrades kept them from getting blind as she only unleashes Right triangle area attack outward from her.

Kiyoko Sakae

Kiyoko was disappointed that she didn't get the opportunity to learn more about Emp, and she was doubly disappointed to learn the content of their test. Apparently, only one of them could succeed, and the result determined on their ability to catch the Daemon. It effectively boiled down to a running race, something Kiyoko didn't believe she could win, especially with her injured legs. She had no clever traps hidden in her arsenal, not that she imagined she could use one if she could barely keep up with the creature to begin with. Having defeated herself mentally, she figured she would just sit down and let the moment pass. Maybe it would be for the best that she got to change teams...

But then, Kiso started talking. It seemed she valued loyalty to her comrades, even if they had only just become a team. She was prepared to give up the chance of being trained just to help them. It was almost touching, even if Kiyoko wasn't sure why she acted like this. Kiso used some kind of ninjutsu that gave off a bright flash, from which Kiso shielded them with her own body. Although in spite of knowing what she was going to do, Kiso had somehow forgotten to shield her own eyes. Kiyoko really had to wonder about the mental capacity of her companions right now. But she realised she only had so long to make use of the time Kiso gave her. She still wasn't sure she was going to manage this test, but she had to at least honor Kiso's intentions by trying. With her limited time to think, she resolved to use her explosive jutsu to try and disable Emp. Grabbing a clump of material from her bag, she fashioned a sphere and hurled it in Emp's direction. If she was lucky, the shrapnel might get in his legs or something. But Kiyoko had no idea what to expect from the Daemon...

Mochizuki Tonbo

The Free Spirit

Mochizuki's fixation on Kiyoko's leg was stopped by Seji's announcement of the test. Mochizuki let out an audible 'aw...'.

It didn't seem fair. Either Kiyoko or Kiso had to win. Mochizuki was going to be a great ninja, but she wasn't going to be someone else to do it, that was her ninja way. Mochizuki had decided against being anyone else long before Seji had announced the test, he wasn't going to stop her in the least.

Her only dilemma was who to help, and Kiso answered that one. Mochizuki was of the same mind as Kiso, nodding happily at her words. At the started a series of handsigns while talking.

"I'll go back with you, friend! Imma be a great ninja, but I'm going to do it being me, and- my eyes!"

Kiso had shield Mochizuki mostly from the flash of light, but Mochizuki had the most sensitive eyes of the group. Her Dojutsu was particularly weak to it. Thankfully, Kiso had jumped in the way however, leaving Mochizuki with a blur around her. Mochizuki still managed to finish the last handsign, and tried following through the best she could. She took a deep breath, and aimed at the blurry objects around her she thought was poles and other climbable surfaces nearby.

Dust Wind Technique!

With a mighty exhale, Mochizuki blew rust up through the air at various blurry objects, creating a slip hazard from the dust should Emp try and run through them. One of the objects with rust blown at it was accidentally Seji's bandanna.

Seji-Banner_zpsrwidcgtr.jpg

Emp stood rather uneasy as he disliked the aspect of being used as some 'test subject'. The daemon stood ready to react watching intently the young Genin preparing for their first move. He would have words to Seji later about this. He would make sure he would pay for throwing him into such a thing announced! His red eyes focused on the young ones, shifting on his small little feat preparing for his own retreat and reaction. I'll just have to put em all in their places! Darn it Seji you keep getting me to use your dumb ass words! Emp reacted quickly to Kiso as she used her technique. Emp lifted his large arm up quickly to block the bright flash. He was about to speak up as he noticed the young Genin had managed to him themselves... along with one of their team members.

"Hahahahaha! I can tell they are suppose to be your students Seji, they do idiotic things like yourself! I can't believe it, you really did raise some of the worst Genin I..." The Daemon was taken over by a gust of wind as he watched suddenly a lump of material came crashing by his leg. The Daemon let out a gasp, jumping back. It evaded the explosion though landing on its feat the creature slipped back falling forward onto its back rolling back into left over scrap from a shattered box.

The rubble shook as Emp jumped out with a light growl. His arms grasped onto one of the rusty metal shelves, jumping up. "Don't think you can get me so easy little ones!" He called out holding his hands out to his sides as to taunt them. Wanting to avoid slipping again, the Daemon ran along the big metal shelf ducking around objects. The shelf was tall enough that the Genin could easily run along the 4 foot wide path, though plenty of scraps and partially intact boxes would make it harder for them to navigate around or over without hitting their heads.

Seji had blocked the flash, primarily with the use of his shades having been pressed against his eyes having looked down to minimize the impact. He let out a sight taking his bandana as he noticed the amount of rust that had accumulated on it. "Yo... dis be my good one yo..." He commented lightly mostly to himself as he began to brush it off. Such fine particles were always a pain to get off of stuff once it got on it.

@Edgey @Ganryu @Kinzu Hekmatyar

The big man.

having watched the young woman continue down the stairs he had placed a genjutsu on he could barely stifle abit of laughter at her growing confusion, back down, back up, back down, back up, truly this was one of his favorite parts, a genjutsu that forces the mind to think they are continuing one way, but forces them to essentially pace the same designated area for as long as the user of the technique wishes. of course, if one were to catch wind of this, they'd attempt to end the genjutsu immediately, if they didn't however, it was more of a.. match of wills to prevent themselves from being tricked once again.

Of course, an occular jutsu like what his student have could pierce the thin veil the jutsu put over the mind.

before she had rushed down the stairway, he had hidden himself at the top of the stairs, more often then not people generally don't look behind doorways when they are following somebody, so it was easy enough to simply watch his student bumble about.

However, he stood at the top of the stairs, lunch in his hands, awaiting patently for his student to finally recognize that he hadn't entered the place at all.

"I wonder how long it will take..."

@Pinkalyn (I hope this is adequite for you, again, i appologise for my absence, you do not deserve that.)

Rubbing her eyes Kiso mentally swore at herself, as a small husky and gravely tone spoke to her. Sorta like an inner voice,*Come on now....you should know your own skills*. The voice faded as she recovers her sight, she would shake her head a bit the heck was that she thought. Shoving it to the back of her mind as she saw the Daemon, taunting them she sheathe her blade, shifting it to her hip. She would grasp the blade sheath taking a deep breath then began a slow jog forward as she spoke,"Than it has been decided, Kiyoko will be the one to turn in the Daemon when he is caught Kiso shall be the Vanguard ".

She would have begun to move forward, whipping slowly at first before she sped up to bound up were the Daemon had gotten whipping

She out her blade in a fast and precision focused ,strikes on rubble an scraps she could cut and clear out her way. In a way, most would think she was just acting out and whiipping her blade around as she pleased. However to the trained eye would be aware that Kiso was atempting to flush out the Daemon in hiding, much like hounds would flush out avians creatures hidden in brush. As Kiso moved forward she clears her way, was allowed she wouldn't move fast but it was purposeful. She wasn't sure if was allowed to go on the offense an unleash attack, so she was moving with anticipation that there was a chance the Daemon could behind the nearest box readying to pounce at her .

The stance she had adopted would tilt her health a slight degree forward perhaps between 45'degrees as it was focused on quick slash and quick drawing to slash at the crates in her way. She hopes her chasing of the Daemon would keep it from digging in or preparing an ambush, as she storm after unleashing a flurry of slashes.

@Edgey @Ganryu @Hanarei

Kiyoko Sakae

As she expected, their tactics were not as effective as they had hoped. Emp was now running away, maneuvering on a shelf. Kiyoko scrambled to think of what to do. Perhaps she could blow up part of the shelf? Maybe if she attacked from one side and someone from the other, they could pin him down? But the more she thought about what they could do, the more she thought about why they were doing it. It seemed at this point that both Kiso and Mochizuki were acting on her behalf, whatever their reasons may be. If this test was passed, she would be the only one going ahead. She would be the solitary student of Seji, as far as she was aware. Not only did that prospect make her skin crawl a little, but she started to realise that she would basically being given the opportunity to make it as a Genin by the work of others. Given her inability to run fast, she would inevitably have to rely on the others to help her succeed. She started to think she didn't really deserve this.

She approached her teacher. "Sir, I just want you to know that regardless of the results of this test....I will be returning to the academy. I feel awful that my comrades have to forfeit their own prospects of training to satisfy your test, and so I shall be returning with them if that is how it must be. I'm sorry." She then returned her attention to their little test. She wasn't sure if they would even succeed, or if it wouldn't turn out that one of the others would have a change of heart, but she had made her own decision. Whether it was so she wouldn't feel so bad about how this test was working out, or because she truly wanted to show solidarity with her team, she wasn't entirely sure herself. But she definitely didn't want to end up as the solitary student of Seji Kondyuaru, that was for sure.

Kiyoko prepared to act as fire support for the others, attempting to nail Emp with her Stone Shooter technique the moment she caught sight of him on the shelf.

Mochizuki Tonbo

The Free Spirit (and Squad B looney)

Mochizuki continued to rub her eyes, her vision returning quick enough. She wondered why lights affected her more. Out of caution she lowered her goggles. Still standing next to Kiyoko, she heard Kiyoko say she didn't want in either.

"Aw.... But someone has to pass. I can't be a great ninja if we can't pass someone! Hey, what if all three of us brought the monkey? Wouldn't he have to pass us all then?"

Mochizuki liked the comment so much, she yelled out to Kiso in the distance.

"Hey, Kiso, if all of us catch the monkey, wouldn't we all pass?"

Mochizuki then watched as Kiso continued after him. If the monkey was Seji's partner, he'd have to be just as strong right? Does that mean there were alot of monkeys as strong as Seji? How were they ever going to catch a monkey then?

Mochizuki thought of everything she knew amount monkeys. Mostly coloring books came to mind, and for some reason Emp looking like he was going to bite her when she wanted to poke him.

"No questions means no rules, right? I got it!"

Without warning or explanation, Mochizuki put her finger in her mouth and bit down, hard. Strong enough to bleed, and crack the nail. Mochizuki was left in tears for a little while.

"Owie! That hurt!"

After crying for a minute, Mochizuki took off... in completely the wrong direction as Emp.

"Imma go grab Renai."

The concept of Daemon was still over her head. Mochizuki had read about them when copying Ryu's paper before... but as far as she was concerned, Seji had a monkey with a cute little skull.

Seji-Banner_zpsrwidcgtr.jpg

Seji glanced over resting his hands behind the back of his head. He looked to Kiyoko Sakae. He sighed lightly in response seeming to not show too much of a response. "Oh? Well... to be honest... I more so said that to leave you all at ease. Its very unlikely if you fail this you will even be accepted back to the academy. Pretty much, your career as a shinobi is over." He spoke with a fully serious tone, unlikely Seji's normal tone. His eyes were hidden behind his glasses, the tone almost haunting given Seji's normal nature.

"Now work it up lil puddle stomper! Yo Seji's gotta nap a lil bit! No monkey business either, theres only 1 who can hold Emp! Oh... and in 1 piece... he ain't good at dealin wit being two pieces" He spoke in a way trying to sound upbeat. He snapped his fingers twice before leaning back once again in a more relaxed position. He seemed to be in a bit of thought, a light smirk on his lips.

Emp ran away from Kiso as the obstacles were sliced away rather easily with the blade, the material flimsy as it was given the age having rotted away much of the wood. His yell escaped out as he ran away as if in panic. In truth he was over exaggerating a bit, primarily to try and catch the Genin off guard. He had to admit that he wasn't exactly able to hold back that much to escape them. The Daemon shifted a bit, ducking away from the rock that had been shot at him. "Hey watch it!" He called out jumping away from one shelf to the other before Kiso nearly cut him through one of the boxes.

The shelf Emp landed on gave way, the Daemon gasping out as it tilted down. The creature slipped down the metal shelf falling quickly lower on the ground, grabbing hold of the next shelf across the small aisle. Emp jumped up, using his arms to swing up landing on the shelf level right above Kiso on the opposite side of the path as he began running the opposite way.

Seji looked over at Mochizuki a bit puzzled. "Oh? Wacha trying to grab the boss misses for? Sound'in like ya wanna get disciplined? She can be a real daemon get er mad not doin yo tests yo." He asked with her smirk gone looking over at the butterfly girl curiously. His eyes fixated on her tapping his forehead lightly. He wondered what she was exactly up to as Emp continued his hectic running to escape the assault of the other two students, moving far faster then one might expect with such a short legged creature.

Tsuneo

The test eventually ended, and Tsuneo explained the point was for them to question their environment, in particular the man in the house, who was actually his old retired teacher he asked to run the same test he was given years ago. Even though they technically failed that part, he said he didn't plan on sending them back to the academy, as he didn't think it would accomplish anything. After that he told the kids to bugger off and do their own thing, content in the knowledge he would probably never see them again.

Kiyoko

Kiyoko was quite affected by Seji's words, but not in the way he might have intended. Kiyoko had come to the conclusion that he was trying to provoke her, as he had no other good reason to suddenly reveal that there were even worse consequences for losing here. Whether he was just trying to incite them to fight each other or really meant what he said, Kiyoko had decided that Seji was an arsehole. She had resolved to try even harder to complete the test, but she still wasn't going to compete with the others. No, now she was motivated by spite; she wanted to complete the test so she could spurn Seji rather than play into whatever scenario he had planned out. Even if it meant quitting being a Shinobi, she didn't want to give him what he wanted.

She began to volley shot after shot in Emp's direction, hoping to pin him down and prevent him from evading Kiso's attacks.

Akihiro Tsubasha

Akihiro had used his shadow clone to draw the target out, but even that wasn't enough to get the box. Exiting the house, he felt defeated, his head lowered. Hearing the teacher's words made Akihiro to cross his arms at his chest, sighing. His eyes went to the others, and, as the teacher told them to bugger off, it made him mad.

Turning his back to the teacher with a huff, he started to trail off. "... I'm out. I'm gonna go eat. Anyone wants to join is more than welcomed." His voice was much grave than before, clearly holding back either rage or tears. Akihiro was not furious on the teacher, but on himself for the whole ordeal failing.

@Orikanyo @KageYuuki

Yuuki Mifune

Yuuki frowned. Even with all the traps and keeping watch over certain place in house it just wasn't enough to bring what they thought was a regular villager down. Of course they quickly found out that wasn't the case with this man and that he was Tsuneo's former instructor. "Tch,"was all Yuuki could manage, his mismatched gaze moving away from their instructor. Making a mistake was one thing, to completely miss the obvious and fail the test? That stung the young Genin and what little pride had been there. After everything he wasn't so sure how to feel about them not being sent to the academy despite their grievous error.

The boy only gritted his teeth as Tsuneo told them to bugger off before walking away from them. From everything he'd been told, the only way to really be effective was for there to be mutual respect between sensei and student. Tsuneo sure as hell didn't hold any respect for the fresh Genin that had been placed in his care. In fact the Jounin had made it perfectly clear he pretty much hated all three of them. To say things were going to suck was a bit of an understatement.

"Let's just go," He muttered to Ago as he turned away and followed Akihiro. Once they were out of earshot, Yuuki gave a low growl before sending a small stone skidding down the road. He wasn't sure in the slightest how to respond to everything that had happened that day. Perhaps once they all had a chance to sit down and talk? It was hard to say.

Ago aburame

Shocked, thoroughly shocked. What could she say about this? The man who was to be the replacement... She knew he was a utter prick but... that was... what a disgusting human being. Yea, we failed, she could live with that, but he never told them anything, never even tried to remedy the problem at all, never even bothered to even care about them in the slightest!

She knew what her next course of action was regarding him, but she will save that for later. She had a group that needed to be kept together, and she had to formulate something, anything to keep moral high.

"Man screw that guy huh?" she spoke out loud to the two boys as she followed. "I'll admit, I screwed up pretty badly, should've checked if the place was inhabited, should've been more careful on approach. In truth, the pooch was screwed by your truely." she stated, outright taking the blame for it, but seemingly not being that hurt by the whole ordeal. "But you guys did well, don't think I didn't see you pull that window trick, well done! No doubt we'll improve come time."

The young woman was building up and feeding the fires of her own self confidence, even if she was kinda an idiot in that mission. She wouldn't let that go, but she wouldn't let failure rule her, it wasn't her way. Failure was only one step on the path of greatness.

"Our jonin screwed off, sure, but in the end he was a worthless pile of crap anyways, didn't care a like about anybody but himself, didn't even care enough to make a worthwhile test, stealth is important yea but going against a master? Seriously, the guy knew we were there from step one. No fairness in it. That said, I will say again, I screwed up initally." she waved her arms with a long shrug, but kept talking.

"Well, we're still genin, probably means we'll be hoofing it alone for a bit. Last I read there was no problems with genin doing minor jobs without a jonin, we can focus on that until we get stronger, or maybe a jonin that actually, you know, gives two shits? Hopefully three, cause personally I'd like one to!" she laughed at her own joke, but it was more laughter then the others were giving.

"Soooooo? where are we eating?'

Akihiro Tsubasha

Akihiro kept on walking, his step not slowing down. He was mad, confused and hungry. He knew there was a ramen shop nearby, but prefered not to speak as he would probably have an outburst.

Not far down the road, a open door and a sign welcomed the 3 genin. It was a ramen shop, but Akihiro did not saw its name. He was too starving to notice.

Sitting down at a table, he sighed and placed his head on the table, and his hands covered his face and head, like he was trying to hide himself. His breathing slowed down and became louder. His fists were clenched, and now he could finally show it. "... To hell with that worthless piece of no-good clown goofball of a more worthless name!..." His head was still on the table, so the sound was muffled a little.

Yuuki Mifune

Yuuki glanced back at Ago as she spoke. He shook his head slightly, "Don't try to pin the whole thing on yourself. We all should have been keeping a better eye out." Once again he sent the unfortunate stone from before careening down the road ahead of them. It may have been a slight stroke of luck that kept him from getting hurt. Kicking rocks while wearing sandals wasn't exactly the greatest idea out there.

The Genin shook his head. "You know, there's one thing that bugs me the most about it. Yes, we screwed up, yes we failed. But from the look of it we were set up for failure on the first place. And that's actually not what rubs me the wrong way about it." He followed Akihiro into the small ramen shop taking a moment to enjoy the smell from all the broths and meats that were cooking. He sat by his teammate careful not to knock his katana against anything. "No my biggest problem is he did nothing to help correct the mistake. He just pointed it out and told us to screw off."

Yuuki shook his head, giving an annoyed sigh before looking to Akihiro. "Yeah I'd say that sums him up pretty well. Hopefully Ginko-sensei is back from her mission soon or we find a Jounin or even a Chuunin that'll take us in." The boy rubbed his eyes, talk about a start as shinobi. "Ago's got a point though, we should probably try to get a mission or something tomorrow morning."

AGO ABURAME

"thats the way!' Ago patted akihiro's back, happy the guy was finally letting it out. Come what may, she was going to become a great ninja, that little shit of a jonin wasn't going to hold anything over her. "yea, it kinda looks like we were stuck with a jerk who only wanted to feel superior." she shrugged and looked to order her ramen, feeling actually quite hungry after fake crying like that, it was one of her better performances she'd admit, but hey, wasn't going to be the last one no doubt.

"Hey guys, lets show just what the hell that guy missed." she clenched a fist and grinned to the young men to her side. "i don't mean go out and kick his butt, i mean we should swear to train so hard, grow like no other, that he'll have no choice but to eat his words. The masters long ago didn't need a teacher to learn the first jutsus, so it doesn't matter if we don't have one either. We'll rise faster, stronger and better then anyone this world has ever seen!'

the small woman laughed heartily as she finished her speech, as much as she was annoying, she certainly didn't let a jonin outright abandoning her soil her spirits.

"Yea, we'll hit pot holes in the road, yea we might fail now and then, but I'll be damned if we wont become the greatest squad in all of Kemuri! With or without a jonin we shall rise! Now you two with me or am i gona have to hog the glory all on my own eh?"

Yuuki Mifune

Yuuki couldn't help but quietly chuckle at Ago's energy. He'd admit it was pretty contagious. The Genin agreed with her, to hell with Tsuneo! If they had to walk their own path for awhile then so be it. It wasn't like the three of them would be completely alone, they could likely get a little help every now and then from fellow clan members. When it came to weapon arts, he knew his sister Tsubaki could easily lend a hand.

Looks like it was settled, it was going to be a bumpy ride but if they expected to be any use to Kemuri they'd have to tough it out. "Don't go thinking you can have that spotlight all to yourself, ya little cricket." He teased, also trying to help lighten the mood further.

Stomach growling in protest he looked over at the owner of the small shop. "One bowl of tonkatsu ramen please!" He'd barely eaten that morning thanks to not knowing what to expect that day and was starting to pay for it.

Kiso blood would boil she didn't know from which, for what she heard from Seji downright irked her. As if their village was overflowing with candidates to, yet this man wanted to put out such harsh test she simply wrote this unjust comment down on her own mental black book. Though she shoved this to the back of her mind, nevertheless she wouldn't forgive these brazen words about their career would be over. It wasn't his right to decide their future for them, finally shoving her annoyance to the back of her mind she figure something out later. She would be moving while her mind was thinking , as she leapt upward first to a shelf support beam than launching herself upward to land on the same level as the Daemon.

Hopefully using the support fire from her comrade Kiyoko, to catch up with the Daemon watching it closely before suddenly quick drawing. This attack would be unless once the Deamon had either dodged Kiyoko attack, or Kiso had got close enough due to her comrade support fire. The blunt end of the blade aimed to whack the Deamon clean off the shelf tops to launch him into the direction of Kiyoko.

Once more relying on her comrade to either adapt if she missed or if her blow landed, Kiso would re-sheath her blade hit or miss per-say to "reload" her quickdraw strike. If she missed she would keep up the chase naturally as it wouldn't do her too much good , if she fell to far behind the Deamon.
