Nozomi released Agotta's hand, taking a step away from her. This little negotiation had gone on long enough. She had expended far less power than the others, but it was better to take what was offered rather then regret not having done so later.

Pulling her soul gem out of her pocket, she touched it to the seed Agotta offered. Depleting much of the seed's power, the dark specks filling her gem poured into the seed, leaving it clear if not bright.

She turned to Aza. "It's all yours." Even so, she left the seed in Agotta's hand for her to make the final decision of disposal.

She managed a gentle pat on Agotta's shoulder. "Be safe, okay." Turning to Komi, her expression changed to one she hoped was firm disapproval. "And you..." She didn't finish her sentence.

"Excuse me." Extending her cane and touching it to the guide tiles, she made her way out of the scene, at least wanting to reach her destination before lunch.

"Ohoho! Its speaking human again!" Komi celebrated the moment that miss Red-Eye began using her mouth again "Nice! Ya sound way hotter not humming in the back of my freakin' skull, baby!"

As she spoke, she fought not to clench her hand into a fist the moment Agotta snatched it, keeping her eyes covered with one hand as the other gave several subtle twitches once the gem was taken. She didn't comment on her gem getting snatched, besides the slight grind of her teeth and a quirk of her eyebrow. But when it was returned to her, she clasped her hand around it again. Pulling it from Agotta far faster than necessary, she didn't exactly look at its new pure glow.

Instead, she brought it to her chest and gave a deep breath as Agotta hastily explained her reasoning for just taking it like that. Only when she finished did Komi clench her gem in a fist as it gave a glow.

"Tch, girlie's already got me all figured out n' shit." she gave a sigh as she brought her now glowing fist to her own exposed belly button "I like that. Has some balls on her, meaty ones at that."

Pulling her hand away, she revealed her soul gem, now a glimmering white speckled with gold. It was changed into a fairly small belly button ring that she tapped lovingly before looking back to the others. Nui was just finishing her turn on the old grief seed, after which she gave her farewells. Well, she gave farewells to the other two, then shot Komi what looked like an irritated expression. That was fine, they were thick as thieves now after all.

Komi just gave a wink in response, though found her eyebrow naturally raising at her use of a cane.

But that wasn't her deal, so Komi just shrugged it off and gave a wave behind her as she twirled her skateboard in one hand, "Yeah yeah, even Q-Girl over there's gotta bow down to the old academy or whatever. When you jailbirds are done come around the Tafton Towers Construction site whenever ya wanna party Komi-Style."

With that, she tossed her board to the ground and took her leave as well.

Agotta sighed as Komi practically ripped her soul gem out of her hands. It was probably the most gentle action Komi was capable of in such a situation. She complimented Agotta for her bravery, surprisingly. Agottas eyes lit up a bit due to the kind words from someone older than herself, but young enough not to be an adult. The ninja girl also cleaned her soul gem, then handed it to the Kyubey girl. "I will!" Agotta said to her request to stay safe. She was confused about her glare to Komi. They were friends, right? She was even more confused about her cane. She was blind?! How?! She fought against Bellstar and even hopped across her familiars to get to her! She even started the chain of blows that led to the witch's demise! All this time she was blind? That's probably why she declined her offer of flying on Corviknight. She likely didn't know that Agotta had a flying Pokémon! Speaking of which, Agotta checked her surroundings. Yes, all of her Pokémon were there. Cubone and Marowak had found their way back to her, and Corviknight hadn't moved from the spot it was at when the labyrinth dissolved. Komi named a place and a time to meet again. Agotta didn't really know how to feel about that. Would Komi get mad at her if she didn't go there after school?

SCHOOL! Agotta had completely forgot about going to school with everything that had happened already that morning. She met four other magical girls and fought alongside them. She even summoned another Pokémon and purified her soul gem for the first time. She had a lot to be proud of, but that wouldn't matter if her parents grounded her when she got back! Fudge! How could she get to school before class started? She thought quickly and then realized. Oh yeah, one of her Pokémon could fly. She ushered Marowak and Cubone on Corviknight's back, and then looked back to Aza. Oh yeah, she was going to walk her to school. "Sorry! Looks like I won't be walking to school!" She said to Aza as Corviknight took flight. So uh... Which direction was her school in again?

After a flight that lasted longer than it needed to, Agotta got to school. She landed around the corner from the gates, and then made it through them right before they closed. With a warning from the police officer watching them, she had gotten to school on time. Is he new? Agotta could've sworn that there wasn't an officer watching the gate. Oh yeah, it was usually her friend Anri and a teacher. Anri had been missing for a little while, hadn't she? She was probably just doing student council things that needed her out of class during the class they shared. They'd at least talk at lunch, but she'd recently be missing then too. Strange... "Stay somewhere around here, alright? I'll come get you guys at lunch!" She said to her Pokémon, and then headed into class.

The first half of her classes went smoothly, besides when she figured out that she forgot her Pokémon book at the train station, and it was soon lunch time. When lunch came, Agotta paid for an extra helping of food, and brought her Pokémon out to the rabbit enclosure. The bunnies were cute, but that wasn't why she was here. She was going to do something bad, specifically steal lettuce to feed Marowak and Cubone. She bought the second plate of food for Corviknight. She figured that a giant crow monster would rather eat the cute little bunnies than the carrots, so got it a plate of human food instead. That, and it earned it in the fight with Bellstar. One of these things was an afterthought. She began to dig into the food. Nobody came back here, so she was a little lonely, but her Pokémon friends kept her company. Suddenly, she heard someone approaching. She hurriedly took the plate of food off her lap and told Marowak and Cubone to hide their lettuce. She hurried to the corner she had accidentally strategically positioned herself behind and intercepted the approaching person. It was that officer from earlier.

"Oh, sorry to bother you miss Agotta." He said. "I'd just like to ask you some questions, if you don't mind." He couldn't possibly know that she just stole food from the rabbit enclosure, right? It wasn't a repeat offense!

"Haha, sure officer, ask away!" She said, trying her best not to seem suspicious.

"Thanks." He said, pulling a notepad and a pen out. "You were close to a student named Anri Tookey, right? What was she like?" Agotta started to get confused.

"She's pretty cool. She's my best friend!" Agotta started to say. "We usually play together at recess all the time, but I haven't seen her in a while. We always play at the sandbox and she always wants to play Cops and Robbers with as much kids as she could get in! We switch days that we play the other's game, so we end up playing it a lot! She really likes to play Cops and Robbers, so she's really fast. She-" Before she could continue her verbal vomit, the officer interrupted her.

"Did she ever talk about her home life? Would you say she liked her family?" He asked.

"Yeah? She said her dad showed her these movies called Westerns and she really liked them. She really likes to mimic them by making hand guns!" She made a gun shape with her hand and made "pew" noises. "She even said she learned how to do this spinny thing with anything that had a hole in it. It was really cool!"

"Ah, I see." The officer said, laughing a little bit. "Did she ever... talk about running away?" Agotta started getting more confused.

"Uh... No, Mr. Police Officer... but... Why have you only been talking about her like she's in the past?" Agotta looked at him with the type of look that only a sad child could.

"She went on vacation, but we don't know where! We're trying to find out where so we can make sure she's having fun!" The police officer lied. Since the police officer liked talking about what Anri did and didn't talk about, a vacation was the one thing she didn't talk about.

"Oh... OK." Agotta said, pretending to believe him.

"Well, that's all the questions I have for you. Thank you very much for your time. Have a nice day lil' miss." The officer put his notepad and pen away, and left. Agotta was distraught. Was something wrong with Anri this entire time? She just assumed she had school council meetings this entire time! Agotta returned to her food after that talk, but she scarcely had any appetite. She finished her favorite foods, and gave the rest to the Pokémon. Lunch ended, and the rest of her school day went by like a blur. instead of focusing on her lesson, she looked at Anri's empty seats in each class they shared. Was she missing? Was she alright? Was she... Before the incredibly dark thought could grab hold of Agotta's mind, her last class had ended. She had to go back to the train station to get her book. She also wanted to go to Anri's house and see what was really happening. She also wanted to go to that construction site or whatever that Komi talked about. The... Tofuken Towa construction site? That'd be difficult so she'd probably do that after getting her book. She got to the train station rather quickly, and learned that her book was not in the lost and found. She sulked for a little bit, looked around the train station, and then left. She needed that book! It wasn't just that she liked Pokémon, it was her magical girl power! It was essentially a big list of what she could do. She looked in her pockets. She had $20 leftover from her allowance. She had enough, but she'd have to wash the dishes tonight if she wanted money to do something Saturday. Oh, yeah... Usually on Saturdays she'd go somewhere with Anri, like the arcade. This money was probably OK to spend. She headed to the nearest bookstore to get another bookstore.

She walked through the bookstore's front door, and heard a little bell chiming. The word bell reminded her of Bellstar. Maybe, if Anri was missing, she was gotten by a witch? She hoped not. She hadn't been to this store before, so she walked up to the front counter to talk to the cashier. "Excuse me miss-" She quickly recognized the cashier as Asami, that girl with the big gun on the train. "-miss big gun?" She asked, with newfound surprise in her voice. "Um, do you know where the childrens' books are?"

School was fairly uneventful for Nozomi, as it had been for the past few weeks.

The soreness in her arms from standing outside class with water buckets complemented her head spinning from the encounter earlier today. Things weren't really heating up. They were just getting worse.

"Shiranui-san, goodbye!"

Her classmates waved to her as they parted ways at the school gate. They were just saying that to be polite, but that wasn't a bad thing. Back when she was still...famous, her old classmates seemed to be content to admire from afar.

But she did wish she had people to walk with...

---

Later that evening, Nozomi sighed as she carefully washed up after dinner with her mother. In about an hour, she'd have to leave for work.

"Mom?"

"Yes, Nozomi?"

"You think we could go out somewhere this Saturday? See a movie, or..."

"Look...I'm kind of tired from work. I think I need to just...unwind here at home this weekend."

Nozomi felt a hint of bitterness from Mother, maybe at the mention of movies. Or was she imagining it?

"...Alright,mom."

Drying her hands and walking to the window, Nozomi let the evening wind blow over her. She couldn't see clearly more than a foot in front of her, but she knew the construction site Komi mentioned was only a few blocks down. Idly, she wondered what was going on with the others...

Location: Tafton Towers Construction Site

Tafton Towers was set up to be the City's new crowning jewel, a new hub for the Tafton corporation's dealings this side of the country. They'd been preparing for it for almost half a decade beforehand, buying out a dozen small businesses and land owners just to have the space for such a structure in the heart of the city. Most took the money without issue, with only one putting up any resistance. Just some previous owners who claimed the current car dealerships hadn't consulted them when selling the land. Tafton's lawyers had handled them quickly, seeing as they weren't the current owners, and the corporation began their grand construction a while ago.

Low and behold, they got through about seven floors before those complainers returned with documents from over fifty years ago that put a kibosh on the whole thing. Since these documents had been written up back when property laws were quite different, Tafton Towers essentially wound up in the equivalent of a messy custody battle that halted construction.

And while it left this ugly construction site out in the city and was probably costing everyone plenty of money, Komi found Tafton Towers to be just the place to hit some of the most stylish stunts she'd pulled in a while.

While the lower floors were just drab looking, the higher ones were incomplete and rife with more danger than any regular citizen should be subjected to. Luckily for her she wasn't any ordinary citizen. Even before becoming a magical girl, Komi had essentially made the place her hang out. With the custody battle raging on and security lacking for the stalled construction, Tafton towers was prefect for squatters and daredevils.

Groups of her classmates and friends would make the trek just to see which way Komi would be endangering her life that day, and she damn well could pull a crowd. Even people she'd never met would show up to see just what Komi could do, she suspected people would be talking up how awesome her death-defying stunts were.

It was also here that she nearly lost it all.

But damn it if she could stay away, even after getting juiced up with that magical stuff. She still did her performances occasionally, but the fighting witches had sapped her enthusiasm for her old stunts considerably. After all, with magic she could tank damage that would incapacitate some of the strongest of people. There just wasn't as much fun in endangering herself the normal ways.

It was no matter, that just meant she needed more witches to throw herself at.

And what better place to base her activities from than Tafton Towers?

Just like many nights, she dangled her legs off the unfinished sixth floor of one of the towers. Normally she'd demand Kyubey's presence so she could start hunting, but tonight she was in no rush. She'd had a decent meal of danger earlier with that whole train fiasco, and she didn't wanna miss any of her new pals showing up. So she decided to take a trip down memory lane. Soon she was riding Fenrir amongst the Construction sight, weaving between partially finished constructions and taking massive leaps from unfinished floors to the ones below.

She hadn't put out word of these tricks earlier, hadn't let it be known such feats could be found. The only ones who knew she'd be there tonight were the girls she'd met earlier.

But that was fine for Komi, she didn't need an audience, her stunts were for her.

Tafton Towers, a place that had been meant to be a new heart for the city, one that had stalled. While money could solve so many problems few knew the power of stray words and curses whispered when parents thought their children slept. In this world few understood the power a child could have if they caught the right eyes and if they had something they wanted. Records from fifty years ago, old laws forgotten by all could be made to surface and people's conviction made steel so that no money could ever start what was stopped. How stupid it was to wish to make something like this stop, magic had stopped the building, but it did not stop the fallout. Parents that cursed the building could only cry that it would never be complete as already everything was sold and the deal finished and the jobs it had promised would never come. How many business had been moved planning to come back if allowed in the building? Now all of that would never happen all because of a stupid wish that some child thought selfless. Such mistakes were punished by the universe for no human was not without their own greed and things done without selfish motive were the most selfish of all. That was why if Aza had to pick favorites or place bets on who of her little group would last she would bet on Komi and Agotta. The two had not wished for others they had wished for themselves even if Agotta was still to innocent and naïve her wish would not create the same regret. The other two had made wishes for others jobs for parents, that would bite them in the ass one day as incubators made a wish come true as close as possible to how it was worded. so they would have a job, and just that job the rest of what work meant to humans likely would be lost on Kyubey. Aza had been keeping secret tabs on all the girls using hidden terminals, as while she didn't talk through them she could still call upon them being part of the hivemind and all that. Two had met at a bookstore, really did Agotta have to meet someone Aza felt would be the first to go? Lone wolves were well enough among magical girls, but Aza didn't care for the secret identity attitude, perhaps a lesson was in order for her? Well Agotta was there so she was safe enough. Komi was at the site wasting energy and Nozomi was not to far away, perhaps her parent had lost her job to this and never regained it because of another girl's wish? Aza would have to look at that as cause and effect from wishes was in truth rather interesting. With the other three girls in more or less public places Aza decided the girl she could most talk to for this was Komi the most greedy of the wishers and the one she pegged as least likely to turn into a witch. Her attitude to Aza meant even if she found things out she would not give up, she would more likely die in battle than turn. Agotta was in truth the most likely to turn if not because of the truth then because she could not ration her power already Aza had made a special exception for her. Aza did not know if she would again, or rather if she would stop herself from helping Agotta again.

" You know normally magical girls make their bases in palaces filled with cute frilly things
" Aza's voice would ring out in Komi's mind as what chance did a voice have against the magic engine of her boke " But this place suits you more then a place full of cute stuffed animals" Aza continued was she walked into the construction site. normally she would do something more dramatic but she really didn't want to change just so she could try to impress someone who she doubted would be impressed.

Nozomi grasped the collar of her jacket and tugged it slightly, keeping herself insulated against the cold night. Her mother had already left for work, and there was no reason to worry about waking up early on Saturday morning.

It wasn't too difficult to find her way to the construction site, with her phone giving directions.

"You have arrived at your destination."

And if this was the shop that was next to the abandoned construction site...

She stepped past the fence, pulling out her earbuds. She couldn't hear any trace of Komi just yet, as far as she was from the skeleton of the unfinished building.

Just then, the sensation hit her. That familiar, alien presence. The Kyubey from the train was here. Nozomi trotted forward, leaving shoe prints in the sand as she hurried. She could only hope neither of them had seen her.

Taking a turn, Nozomi pressed against a stack of cement sacks, doing her best to eavesdrop on the conversation.

Fenrir was a damn good vehicle, so good that she couldn't help[ but overuse the hell out of it whenever she could. This was typically fine, as most of the time she'd be prowling for witches to use it on anyway. But even in her downtime like tonight, she was styling with the force of a thousand dramatic explosions. At least, that was what anyone with a taste for the awesome would think as they watched her swerving through the confines of Tafton Towers.

As she didn't actually have to be controlling it directly like most vehicles, she was able to essentially plant her feet on the seat while it was in its bike form. Like this, she swerved around pillars and bent low as it hit ramps and sailed from one side of the unfinished complex to the other, sometimes passing over gaps in the floor several stories high in the process. The wind in her ears, the roar of Fenrir's actions, the gravity defying motions she'd honed in the weeks since her wish. This was the kind of stuff that she thirsted for before getting in on the magical girl stuff. The only thing that was missing was a nice angry witch trying to kill her throughout it all.

But she held back on hitting the streets, despite her need for Witch-slaying growing the more tense her actions became. The need for more explosions and leaps of faith slowly worming its way to the forefront of her mind.

Luckily, she didn't have to hold back long, for a voice spoke up whilst she was speeding towards another conveniently set up length of sheet metal.

It cut through the roar of wind and the engine, coming not to her ears but her mind directly in a way that was immediately familiar. Ole Red Eyes had been the first to show, and commented on the abode Komi had chosen as her interruption sent Komi off course. She hit the ramp, sailing off of it over open air whilst twisting the bike to the side. She spun towards a lower room and landed wheels-first before skidding towards several pillars which she had to thread through before finally bringing the bike to a stop.

Looking back at the jump she almost botched, Komi clicked her tongue before giving a loud laugh. Leaning back, Komi sped off again before relenting and using the whole mind speak stuff.

"Ya know, I was plannin' on just ignoring most of what you say using the whole telekepathic stuff." she responded whilst weaving through even more pillars "Had this whole 'Gonna pretend to be human then at least speak like one' thing. But I'll give ya a pass, since that near miss really got me goin' for a second there."

It wouldn't have killed her, Komi knew that. Failing most of her previously dangerous stunts didn't hold a candle to getting direct impacted by some of the stuff Witches could pull. But damn would it have been one hell of a lame wipeout.

Letting go of Fenrir's handles, Komi let her legs dangle off to one side as the motorcycle continued speeding through the unfinished maze of Tafton Towers. On the topic of Magical Girl bases, Komi wasn't one to give a comment. When she was hunting she barely stuck to one place, Fenrir helped her cover more ground than most Magical girls if Kyubey was to be believed, and any hunting time she spent not in a hyper-violent encounter was time wasted.

Although thinking on it did bring to mind what other kinds of bases Magical Girls had. Red-Eye said they were mostly filled with cutesy stuff, but Komi couldn't help but picture that Poke-Girl would probably have some kind of spa or playground for Pokemon. Thinking of her only reminded her of what Red Eye was probably here for, namely the other girls Komi had invited along with her after their encounter earlier. Fenrir sped out of a four story window with her on it, Komi finally grabbed the handlebars as it sailed to the ground and landed in the middle of the construction site. Skidding into a spin as she did a few donuts in the ground before coming to a stop.

"If ya lookin' for Poke-Girl, she ain't here yet." she called out "None of them are, but I guess we can shoot the shit till they show. Get all comfy and friendly and go dancin through some flower patches together. Bet K would prolly appreciate that kinda thing. I'm findin' the thought pretty damn hilarious, ya know?"

Thanks to the terminal following all the girls while staying unseen Aza was aware that Nozomi had shown up but was staying hidden. That wasn't really an issue, though she could without the girls trying at cloak and dagger stuff. Though it seemed mostly to be centered around her, and Aza couldn't blame them she was beyond unknow a magical girl alien come to teach them and knowing all about them. Yeah they hadn't even learned her name and had never asked. Aza could call out to Nozomi, but that might reveal they were being followed and observed, it was better to just ignore her after all her hiding was not changing anything. Komi was her normal self, though the idea that it seemed to her Aza was pretending to be human was a little insulted and really did remind Aza of how much she had changed after her wish. Coming looking for Agotta would seem logical the youngest of the group needed special watching with her reckless use of power, about as reckless as Komi.

" I am here to meet you all, teaching you all is why I am here" Aza said switching to normal speech though helping it a little to carry to both of the other girls. " Though you are right I do worry for Agotta a bit more than the rest of you, but if not for your skill I would worry for you as well Komi you are rather excessive with your use of magic" Aza explained sounding neutral but not telling any lies or half truths she worried about whoever used their power to much and was inexperienced. " As for flowers, not my thing I would offer you a drink as talking about co workers over a drink or two is apparently a custom, but you are driving right now" Aza continued her real desire to know what Komi thought of the others and how she felt about leading them only mildly hidden in a joke, though Aza was also not joking about the drink. She had never been a good kid and well the laws of man need not always apply to magical girls, if they followed all the laws then none would ever get to drink. " So how about you put that in park and come join me?" Aza asked reaching into her backpack and pulling out a Sake bottle she had acquired between schools end and now.

Asami was currently playing one of her favorite games on her laptop. when the younger girl from yesterday appeared in the bookstore. Asami turn to greet her. When suddenly the girl called her big gun girl. Asami had kinda missed the second word, and thought she said big boob girl. before she had time to react to the comment, the girl ask her where the children books were.

" in the front, to the right." Asami said feeling a bit embarrassed to be called that at work. The more Asami thought about it there was no way she be called that, maybe?

"Please don't call me that especially while I am at work. My name is Asami.". Asami has said with firm tone.
Dolches Dolches

Agotta nodded and headed for the children's book section. They had a whole stack of copies of the book she had lost. Maybe if she worked really hard she could get enough allowance for another copy, just in case she lost this one. She took one off the shelf and opened it up. Yep, it was exactly like the other one. She wasn't going to check every individual page for every single Pokémon just to see that they were all there, so she made the incredibly safe assumption that someone wasn't taking these books and ripping pages out of all of them. Just in case, however, she picked out the one third from the back. As she got up and began walking back to the cash register, she realized what had just happened. She was being so careful with just buying a little book with a bunch of pictures and info about imaginary creatures, as if her life depended on it. It did, however, depend on this book. Besides the ones she remembers, Agotta's entire arsenal was listed down in this little book that someone likely designed for parents to get for their kids without a second thought. That shook Agotta a little bit, but she thought a bit more about it. She could make real Pokémon, although regular people couldn't see them. She could see them, and the friends she made earlier that day, although they were older than her and one was a bit scary. She brought the book to the counter, slowly counted coins, and gave Asami exact change. Before she left, Asami told Agotta her name. "Bye, miss big gu- uh, Miss Asami! I'm going to... Uh... Taffy Towers with Miss Komi. See ya!" She waved to Asami and left, new book in hand.

Agotta walked from the bookstore to the construction site with her Pokémon. She looked at the sign. Tafton Towers? She was slightly disappointed that it wasn't Taffy Towers, but didn't pay much attention. She debated yelling to see if anyone was there, but then thought about doing so for more than five seconds. She looked back at the sign, and saw "No trespassing" on it. Huh. She had a feeling Komi was bad, but playing in a construction site where she wasn't allowed? Agotta just hoped that they wouldn't get in trouble. She walked carefully past the sign, looking for signs of other magical girls. She could hear an engine and faintly feel magic from the same direction. That must be Komi! She looked around for where it could be, and instead found Nozomi. Miss Kyubey was probably here too. "Hey Miss Ninja!" she said loudly to Nozomi as she approached, forgetting that they were all trespassing. "Oh, um... Hey, Miss Ninja." She said, more quietly this time. Why was she pressed against all those bags? She looked around them, and sure enough, Komi and Miss Kyubey were there too. "Hey Mi-" She said at a high volume yet again, cutting herself off when she realized she was supposed to be quiet. "Hey Miss Kyubey! Hey Miss Komi!" She aggressively whispered to the two. Could they hear her over Komi's engine? She walked around the sack stack and approached them. "Hey Miss Kyubey! Hey Miss Komi!" She repeated at a moderate volume this time, making sure they could hear her. Although Agotta's chain of greetings might have been cute, annoying, or maybe even funny, whatever feeling it evoked wasn't going to compare in magnitude to the barrage of words she was about to let loose.

"So after we all split up after fighting that witch, I flew to school on Corviknight. It was pretty scary, but since I did that while fighting the witch I think I got used to it really fast. Anyways, school was kinda boring like usual, but there was this police officer at lunch who asked me a bunch of questions about my friend Anri who I haven't seen in a little while. He kept asking questions and talking about her like she's in the past tense and it was really confusing and made me upset because she's a person in the now. She's not Nobunaga or someone who lived a long time ago so I don't understand why he talked about her like that." She stopped talking about things that could be considered important at this point. "Anyways, after school I realized that I forgot my book at the train station after we fought the witch, so I went over there to try and find it in the lost and found or somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I think some other kid might've found it and really wanted it so he took it. I went to this bookstore and I found Miss Asami, that girl with the big gun, who works there apparently. So I bought a new Pokémon book because I need it to pick which Pokémon to summon using my magic. I can remember a few but there's so many of them that it's hard to pick." Agotta paused for a second and looked around. This place was pretty empty. "Why'd we meet here Miss Komi? Couldn't we go to some other place like a café so we could get snacks?" She asked. She had gotten quite comfortable with her new friends already. Perhaps too comfortable.

Nozomi flinched when Agotta called her name. Sun had long set and she was still out, huh? The kind of kid that didn't have to worry about getting into trouble with their parents...

She hoped to whatever god was up there that the sounds of conversation and Fenrir's engine made Agotta's greeting less conspicuous.

"Yes yes, hello kid..."

She couldn't make her turn around and leave, but at the very least she could turn and give her a little push forward so she wouldn't linger near her spot.

This was something of a chance. As Agotta's words spilled out, Nozomi returned to listening intently. Perhaps in her presence Komi or especially Aza might give more information away.

About witches? Soul gems? Even herself? Nozomi wasn't sure what to look for, but she knew something needed looking into.

Aza was aware the two of the other three girls had come to the site now that Agotta had left the shop. Asami could wait and Aza felt perhaps it was best to just let her go it solo, you could only force someone on a team so much and she clearly had no desire to be on it. Komi likely didn't care about the team thing by her first words, but she was not avoiding it like Asami. Though could having a job be called avoiding something? it didn't matter a majority was here even if one of them was trying to hide herself. If she had questions she should just ask that was always the problem with these girls they didn't ask, just like her. It was not something humans were prone to thinking about only lawyer knew how to read contracts and look for issue, little girls talking to a magical creature would never ask. Still it was for a good cause, something that was greater then them and even the incubators. It was just sad that humans were the only things that truly worked with the process, and that this was just how it had come out naturally. If only they could find a girl with the right amount of karma then this could be over.

Focusing on the now Aza turned as Agotta came up to them having to call out twice, thanks to the bike. Agotta really did like to talk and talk Aza filtered most of the out the topic of the friend was interesting but over all not important right now to the girls. It did mean she didn't realize when people talked like that they were expecting to find a body not a person. This did give Aza a good opening to say something they needed to be said to Agotta given she was looking for more pokemon. The continued existence of them was tied to Agotta and likely meant she was feeding them small amounts of energy darkening her soul gen to keep them around. While a few was fine she needed to not get the numbers beyond what she could manage. Aza knew she might not be there all the time to bail her out of over using her power.

" We could have simply met at my apartment, I really should have mentioned it" Aza said revealing that she did have a physical location she lived she didn't just come in from space whenever she was needed. " Anyways Agotta that reminds me of something i needed to mention try to keep your number of summoned down to a team, that is five I think" Aza said not having really known pokemon " Well anyways if you summon to many you may end up having to use to much energy to maintain them, so if you want more than that I suggest you dismiss one. This is of course a suggestion I need to check with Kyubey on the specifics of your power but caution is needed" Aza explained she also wanted to avoid the girl losing a weak pokemon and getting sad over it.

Komi drummed her fingers along the seat of Fenrir as Ole Red responded with more of that mind speak. She admitted to mostly wanting to look out for, but Komi preferred that than some nonsense excuse for her favoritism. Besides, it wasn't as if the little runt didn't need it. In the process of this, she also let out Poke-Girl's real name: Agotta. It wouldn't change much for Komi, as she was determined to keep calling her Poke-Girl for as long as she could, but it did make her realize that she hadn't given that other girl with the gun a nickname.

She could just keep calling Nozomi by Nui, she had Poke-Girl and Ole Red-Eyes.

Gun girl needed one too.

Before she could really go deep into that line of thinking, Red-Eyes offered her a drink if she got off Fenrir. While Komi preferred the thrill of battle to a night of knocking back drinks, it wasn't as if she was going to turn one down, especially if its free. So Komi did slide off Fenrir, letting her feet touch the ground as she raised a hand. But before she could make for Red Eyes, a voice that was just barely drowned out by her bike made her look away.

She looked around for a moment, frown taking hold as she clenched that open hand for a moment. However, it unclenched almost as soon as Agotta revealed herself with happy greetings. But before Komi could even ask what had taken her, their resident Poke-Girl launched into another string of speech. To Komi's credit, she launched into her routine of passing short comments and displays of reaction almost as quickly.

Though she did manage to snag a few things out of there, like Agotta's friend Anri being missing and probably being suspected as dead, or the revelation that Gun Girl apparently worked a shop nearby. As Agotta spoke, Komi raised her hand again as Fenrir glowed and transformed into a skateboard. She caught it as she her gaze travelled upward.

Now they at least had an idea of where Gun Girl could be found outside of School, which Komi liked knowing more so she could figure out who might jump in if she ever got into a fight near there. While her heart went out to Agotta for her missing friend, it mostly reminded her of why there were so many fresh magical girls in the city.

When she finally asked why Komi had asked them to gather there, Komi flashed her a grin "Ain't it obvious?"

Red eyes mentioned that they could use her apartment for meetings, a minor detail Komi tucked away as she approached Agotta. Red Eyes was explaining how he Pokemon worked in terms of magic, and Komi got to enjoy watching the little twerp's reactions while she did it. Only when she stopped speaking did Komi wrap an arm around Agotta and pull her into a side hug.

"Yeah yeah, in fact Caution's prolly the main reason we're hookin' up like this." she snickered before glancing towards Red Eyes "Least, that's how I'm seein' things."

She released Agotta before tossing her board into the air and catching it a few times, "See, when Kyubey went and made me all glittery and awesome, started saying something about me being needed since the other Magical Girls up and dissappeared. Didn't really ask for any elaboration, too busy finding witches to beat the hell out of and all that."

She caught Fenrir one more time before glancing back at Agotta, "But then more of ya show up, all real quick n stuff. Gets me thinkin' back on that whole thing."

Dropping Fenrir to the floor, Komi rode it around the two, "Now I ain't one to worry about that kinda stuff, but something able to just poof the OG magic crew away sounds almost too temptingly dangerous to be true."

Finally she came to a stop beside Red Eyes and held up a hand towards her expectantly, "And since Ole Red Eyes here was all eager to chat over drinks, figure its the perfect time to hear about any cool dangers you guys have been hiding from me, ya know?"

Magical girls disappearing? Now that was something Kyubey had neglected to share with Nozomi. Magical girls had disappeared suddenly by means even Kyubey didn't know about, and they had to hurry to contract replacements.

Nozomi imagined if they didn't, the witches might become too numerous...

And one of the girls that went missing was Agotta's friend, she presumed. The dots were connecting in Nozomi's head, even if she was wrong on several counts.

It wouldn't do to hide any longer in this situation. Turning around, she stepped out from behind her hiding place, facing the three.

"Evening." She said tersely to Komi.

Turning to Agotta, she did her best to smile. "Agotta, you said something just now...you haven't seen Anri in a while. The last time you saw her...was she doing anything strange? Did she seem like she was hiding something?"

Now they start asking questions and wanting her to play teacher. They were making some connection, luckily thus far they were wrong in their guesses. The question of threats was easy enough to answer and honestly the girls knew about every threat they could face. Nozomi had finally come out and clearly was thinking Agotta's friend was among the missing even though she was not. That was one myth she would have to get rid of. Or she could not talk about it and just ignore it, her job was to train the girls not explain everything to them. If situations were normal Aza would have suggested Nozomi get black listed from becoming a magical girl or at least that they move someone more hostile into the area to give her more pressing matters to deal with. While their goals were good humans just couldn't understand it because it was happening to them they were hypocrites.

" Nozomi I would suggest while I am here we stay on the topic of training you girls" Aza said she wasn't going to talk about things not related to training them for now especially around little mrs make believe spy. " I will say this on the topic of the vanishing, we currently do not know why it happened. Kyubey has been investigating it and we have concluded it was not likely the work of witches however, we can't yet say they were not involved. " that should be enough of an explanation as they were not sure what the hell was going on. Though perhaps a little more could be given out " While I see the connections you are putting together Nozomi Anri is not among the missing girls, there is more that can cause a girl to vanish than whatever that was" That was enough of an explanation and a good lead in.

" Which leads me back to your training and Komi's question which while poorly phrased is a good one. We do not hide the threats from you, Kyubey is just to used to having an older magical girl about to instruct the younger. That is why I am here to play the role of older magical girl even though I will not take the role of team leader as well. You all actually already know all the threats just not the details on them" Aza said putting the Sake up and holding up four fingers " the major threats are Witches, familiars, and other magical girls, and gem darkening" Aza explained lowering a finger after each one " Starting with the simplest one other magical girls, some girls prefer to work alone and see grief seeds as a winner take all prize. This means that they can and will kill other magical girls. It is human greed plain an simple of the four girls in the city I do not believe any of you will kill each other, though I am still unsure if I understand Asami " Having them think to look at the lone wolf carefully was a good idea if not for a common human enemy then because Aza was honestly not sure about the girl.

" I hope you can see why I consider that the least cool danger." understanding why girls fought was easy enough and in truth was not something Aza liked but had used in the past. She could not expect the girls here to understand what she did. She also couldn't expect them to try to understand Aza herself girls never did she was just another alien when they found anything out. Well it was easier to play the alien than admit how much doing this all actually hurt her, how she needed to cleanse her own gem regularly to put up with it. " Now then gem darkening , if you use to much magic and it goes completely dark you die, that is why grief seeds are so valuable. One drops per witch and girls need to be able to cleanse their soul gems. " Aza said holding out her hand and summoning her the red gen gleaming brightly " That is why it is good to learn how to conserve magic, better ways of doing your spells and such to extend how long you can go without clearing your gem." With that her gem vanished. " This was not exactly something you all didn't know but kyubey overlooks it the most as often it is the very first lesson"

" Now with the boring threats out we can get to the cool ones, witches and their familiars. A witch is a creature born from the curses and negative emotions of humanity and they would destroy humanity if not controlled, though the exact reason for their formation is a mystery" Aza said as while she knew how witches formed the why witches came out the way they did and not as anything else was not something even the incubators knew they just ran with it " There are several types of witch, though this is more my personal scale than anything official. First you have natural witches, that come curses and negativity like the witch we fought earlier. These witches will always have familiars with them and seek to kill humans with what is known as a witch's kiss a mark on the body. This will cause them to go somewhere secluded so the witch might kill them herself or have them kill themselves. This is a way of gaining power the one earlier had not been active for long so had not killed many. Next are evolved witches , you see the familiar of a sufficiently powerful witch can sometimes break out of her labyrinth and go out on it's own. If this familiar manages to kill enough humans or magical girls it will become a witch. A wandering familiar will not give out a grief seed so some girls, farm them letting them kill then killing them only when the evolve. " Aza personally didn't like this practice and she felt the witches needed to be kept to a minimum, but she was meant to not tell the girls what to think " I do not like this practice, it spreads suffering" More accurately it spread unnecessary suffering and Aza wanted to reduce what she could. " Now the next is a Walpurgis witch, these kind are very dangerous and need multiple girls to defeat. A Walpurgis witch is formed when two or more of the other kinds of witch come together and fuse becoming a new more powerful witch. These beings are very dangerous as there is no telling what their power might be like after the fusion or how many witches had fused to become one. " Aza could not emphasis it enough how dangerous these could be given just how deadly some had turned out to be in the past. " The final witch is a foil witch, which does not mean tin foil or aluminum foil, but rather a counter. A foil witch can be any of the other kinds and is simply witch who for whatever reason specifically counters a magical girls powers. A snake that sheds it's skin when caught versus a girl that can bind with a ribbon. A witch can't can't be harmed by physical attacks fighting a magical who has no magic weapons. A witch that can slow or stop a magical girl and one whose speed is her greatest weapon. That is why a team is a good thing you can avoid falling to a foil of one girl if the others can manage to defeat her. " foil witches were not really a class or anything just dumb luck, but Aza knew to many girls fell because of accounting one she had to warn others and giving them their own special class made it easier.

There was one more thing left to say as that actually covered all the threats though familiars were just left out as she felt they were folded into the witches topic. That was her role in this whole cycle something she had kind of alluded to and well had not mentioned beyond her job not normally being training. " Witches are a threat you should not take lightly, what has happened in this city, the vanishing, is a mystery that much is true, but cities have been left without defenders before. There have been cases where a witch managed to kill off the last magical girl in a city or kill off a team. That is normally where I come in cleaning up and managing the city till we can call in a girl from nearby to hold the fort till other magical girls are found" This was not inaccurate as she did sometime do clean up but it was not her only duty, just the most important one to Aza as she didn't want the witches spreading unnecessary suffering. " If you work together then after your training i won't have to come back to this city, at least for work I might come to visit" She finished deciding to end things on a light hearted joke to balance out the doom and gloom.

She continued her little spiel, much to her surprise Komi seemed interested like the last time. She was definitely cool in Agotta's books. Nobody but her parents, Anri, and Komi really pay attention to what she had to say! She thought about Aza's advice. How would she "dismiss" her Pokémon? It wasn't a question of willingness, but of ability. How would she do it? Marowak and Cubone, although she liked them, Corviknight could do more practical things and even beat Marowak at the things both of them could do. She supposed that if she had a reason to keep Marowak active, it'd be for its ability to dig. She'd be able to get out of sticky situations with Marowak by her side through the ground. It'd only work for specific situations, but it was still something to consider. Cubone, however... Cubone wasn't fully evolved, so it was kinda weak compared to its mom. However, she didn't like the idea of separating the two, even if she knew how to. Komi drew Agotta into another side hug, interrupting her train of thought. She almost immediately let go of Agotta afterwards, then started talking about what Kyubey had told her. There were other Magical Girls who vanished? Something made them vanish? This frightened Agotta a little bit. What could have done that? A really big witch? Nozomi had walked over to the group and asked her about Anri. Before Agotta could answer, however, Aza interrupted her. According to her, Anri was not among the missing Magical Girls. Of course not, she wasn't even missing. There must be some reason she hasn't seen her in a while, and it definitely wasn't a witch or anything like that. Aza started talking about something else that sounded important, and Agotta sat down to listen.

She tried really hard to pay attention. Really hard. It's just that the current time and everything she did today was starting to catch up to her. She pulled out the little flip phone her parents had given her. She had to be home in half an hour or so for bedtime. It was a Friday though, so maybe she could call her parents and ask if she could stay out a bit longer than usual? Aza said something about foil, but before Agotta asked if she was talking about tin foil, she specified that she wasn't. This actually sounded interesting. A witch that counters a magical girl's abilities? She specified that someone reliant on speed would have a hard time against a witch that could slow them down. She looked over at Komi, and then Nozomi. Both of them were really fast, Komi having a bike and Nozomi being a ninja, so that seemed to be targeted at them. What would beat her? A witch that had multiple bodies or something like that would be a hassle for anyone, but especially her... But... There was a part of her that got a bit excited at such a prospect. Fighting such a witch would be like a real Pokémon battle! "Oh, I gotta call my parents and ask if I can stay here for longer." She said after Aza stopped talking. She got up and walked back over to where Nozomi was eavesdropping earlier, and started her phone call.

"Hey!" She said into the phone. "Could I stay at my friend's for a bit longer than usual? Um, no, it's not Anri... It's some new friends I made, their names are Komi and Nozomi." She decided not to mention Aza since she didn't know her name. "Yes, I know the way back. Mhm, I'll be careful! Bye! Love you mom!" She said as she finished her phone call, walking back to where was before and sitting back down. "Um, Miss Kyubey? You said earlier that I should try to dismiss some of my Pokémon. How do I do that?" She asked.

Ah, their good pal Nui revealed herself not long after Komi brought up hidden dangers and disappearing magical girls. She greeted Komi Tersely, to which Komi responded with nothing less than her best grin and a peace sign. Of course, she went to Agotta first because who wouldn't want to start chatting up the literal child. She asked about Agotta's missing friend, pretty much losing Komi's attention immediately. She wasn't a Magical Girl to play detective, she was magical because it let her kick absolute hell out of any witch ass eh could find.

Thankfully, Ole Red Eye seemed just as eager to get off the subject.

She shut down the topic of missing witches fairly quickly, jumping right into what Komi actually wanted to hear about: the stuff they were supposed to be mopping the floor with . Witches and their myriad of familiars were the topic Komi wanted, but Red Eye started at the very beginning of explanation. It was most likely for the less informed Magical girls with them, but Komi's attention was once again stolen by the bottle of sake she set aside.

Snatching it up, Komi took a sip and tested out the flavor as Red Eye went over the whole soul gem cleaning process. She was about to go for a full swig when Red Eye got to the good stuff: special witches. The only part she really wasn't familiar with and what she'd been hungering for the moment Red Eye offered her services to explain. The Walpurgis and the Foils sounded absolutely perfect for getting Komi's blood flowing in more ways than one. Some witches put up pretty damn good fights, so the idea of fighting what was essentially several of them slammed together sounded like a party.

But not as much of a party as a Foil, a one on one duel with a witch that had powers that specifically countered her sounded like the best kind of death sentence. Coming out of something like that alive was bound to be nothing less than pure ecstasy.

The only thing which managed to cool her off was the flow of sake dragging the warmth back down into her belly, her swig ending in a deep sigh of enjoyment.

Just as Red Eye finished speaking, Agotta stepped away for a moment to call her parents about getting some extra time with her friends.

"Good times..." Komi took another gulp before offering the sake to Nui and grinning in Red-Eye's direction "Hon, you just earned all kinds of Komi points letting me know of goof times like those."

Agotta returned with more questions about her Pokémon, how exactly she swapped them out or something. At that Komi sashayed over before pulling her into another hug.

"Aw, just try doin what I do, Poke-Girl."
Komi booped her on the nose with a finger before taking a breath "Whenever I want my ride, Fenrir, to swap I just tighten up and do some wicked stomach flexes. My baby knows what to do when I start flexin' and shit."

At least two of the girls was easy enough to manage though nozomi it seemed would be the kind to look for things she thought were hidden. While somethings were hidden it was for the girl's own good and for the good of all beings. Aza would either need to keep an eye on this girl or perhaps look outside this little group. While they were the newest it seemed other girls had been recruited so there were around 20 in the city. Thing was they were all new and in truth they had other teachers. Well moving girls around to deal with trouble girls in the past had been done, though none of the girls in the city were ready for such combat just yet. With any luck Nozomi would tone down her theory crafting in the coming days after all Aza had just given her just about everything she had asked about. Komi seeming pumped up about the witches reminded Aza why she would either last the longest or die the fastest of the group, though she had already made it a month. Agotta seemed to take everything with her extremely innocent perspective as normal. Aza didn't know if that was good or bad she was to hopeful, but well hope was what you needed to do this job.

" Each magical girl uses their magic differently Komi " Aza said " It is mostly based on how you visualize your magic and how you operate, I assume you operate on instinct thus your magic reacts mostly off that. That tends to be the fastest but simplest way to use it, other girls use chants, spells, runes, shouting attack names anything under the sun. " Aza explained turning to Agotta " For your magic given it is show based imagine returning the pokemon to a pokeball, or just wanting them gone. It is mostly guessing at what will work right now. Oh also none of you have asked my name and while Kyubey would due I am not him Just call me Aza, you would know this if you went to school Komi " that introduction was long overdue but no one had bothered to ask and Aza was used to not needing a name in the hivemind where she was one with kyubey and their thoughts were shared. Really being around normal or well normal enough girls felt both strange and nice at the same time. Aza despite the concerns Nozomi caused was actually in a descent mood. " Also where can I redeem Komi points I need to know what prizes I can get? " She asked with a smirk for once not thinking of how to use the girls or their chances while talking about such things.

It wouldn't really be productive to keep pressing when no one was forthcoming with the truth. Nozomi didn't fancy herself a detective, but the disappearance of past magical girls had effects that were being felt among the general population as well.

One way or another, their own lives might be at stake, and not just from the witches. That Kyubey...it was probably reasonable to assume she wouldn't directly harm them, but the secrets she was keeping...

She considered holding on to Agotta, but she didn't particularly want to get tangled up with Komi either. Well, having a few tolerant acquaintances was better than pushing them away.

"I don't think any witches will turn up tonight...any more than one every few days would be strange. Have you eaten, Agotta?" She kept about two feet away. "I can get you something if you want."

"And you..." She took a breath and nodded at Komi and her bottle. "...can come along, unless you think that's all the fuel you need."

"Hey Marowak! Cubone!" She called out somewhat loudly, the Pokémon then approaching her. She then started to flex what muscles she had at the two. There was barely any difference between her appearance while flexing and relaxed, so it looked like she was just aggressively striking poses at the two creatures. When Aza explained what Komi meant, she started to feel a bit silly. Imagine returning the Pokémon to a Poké Ball? She grabbed her soul gem and held it forwards. She thought for a moment. She didn't have to discharge them right now, right? She didn't want to just do it to see if she could do it. Cubone and Marowak were her friends, discharging them just to find out how seemed mean. She just pet them a bit and was about to wave them off before Nozomi asked if she had eaten.

"Um, I ate lunch but I- I wasn't home for supper!" She just realized that, as well as how hungry she was. She had eaten half of her school lunch before she lost her appetite thinking about her missing- No, Anri wasn't missing. Aza said she wasn't on the list of missing magical girls, and Anri was so fast and strong that nothing else would make her go missing! She was still around somewhere, maybe she got sick and had to stay home for a while, and her mom and dad just forgot to tell the school people! For now, at least, Agotta was really hungry, and wanted something to eat. She dug around in her pockets. Three whole dollars and a couple of coins. She had more coins at home, but it would barely make a difference. "Um... Could you get me something... cheap?" She asked Nozomi, reaching her hand out with the miniscule amount of money.

Nozomi leaned in a little, not bothering to count whatever sum was in Agotta's hands. Taking her word for it would be fine. Gently taking Agotta's hand, she closed her fingers, allowing her to keep her own money.

"It's fine, it's on me tonight." She smiled. Maybe Agotta had needed to get something earlier, or she had little cash in hand despite being the kind of kid who had a phone.

She hoped...whatever wish Agotta had made was worth taking on such a dangerous duty.

Getting up, she tilted her head towards Komi as well. "If you're done inviting noise complaints, you can come too. We can go to a stall near here."

Ah, seems like Ole Red Eye finally figured the nicknames were unsatisfactory. Komi couldn't really think of any other reason she'd just request they call her Aza, or maybe she didn't want the obvious label to stick. Either way, Komi gave her bottle of sake a shake before leaning her head back to look at her.

"Call yourself whatever, Red Eye." she shrugged before tossing Fenrir on the ground and kicking it back up into her hand "I'mma call you whatever tastes the best on my lips, same as the rest o ya."

She aimed that last part to both Agotta and Nozomi, who was offering to get something for Poke-Girl to eat. Komi couldn't help but chuckle, seemed like everyone was getting ready to get all doting and worry-like over Poke-Girl. She'd figured as much, little runt just radiated that whole cute stuff that made people's wallets just open on their own. Wouldn't really do good if they wanted her to be as kick-ass the rest of them eventually.

Komi knocked back another gulp of Sake, figuring that meant she'd have to double down on the tough love angle. Ole Red Eye would probably be able to understand that, right? Just as she wondered that, in comes Red Eye herself with a sentence that Komi both hadn't expected. She wanted to know how to redeem Komi points, a pun Komi had expected Nozomi to react to first if anyone. Perhaps Agotta would be curious and Naive enough to wonder about the exchange value of a currency she'd never heard of before, but Komi was certain she'd be able to squeeze some more irritated looks out of Nui before the night's end.

Instead Ole Red Eye pounced first, causing Komi to lower her bottle and raise an eyebrow. At first she wondered if it was that whole Kyubey style misinterpretation of sayings, but the smirk suggested otherwise. It was almost like she was playing Human again, but Komi wasn't about to start guessing at sincerity. She'd made that mistake with Kyubey himself, and wasn't interested enough to investigate.

Still... who was she to refuse an open line like that?

"Shit hon, where you think ya redeem them?" She mused openly before dropping Fenrir and kicking it back inti her grasp again "Just bring it over to the teller right here and see if ya win big, might even let the highest scores ride my baby with me."

She kicked and caught Fenrir several times, pausing only to spin it several times, "Careful though," she pointed it towards Agotta "Poke-Girl over there's got quite a commanding lead."

After the crash course on magic from Red Eye, the Poke-Girl had called over her pet monsters only to pet them. It almost looked as though she was going to send them away when Nozomi offered to get her something. Scratch that, it looked as though she was willing to share with Komi too if her little jab was anything to go by. Komi appreciated the pointed pause she gave when speaking to her, showed that she was still getting results. But even moreso, she appreciated the offer.

As good as Old Red-Eyes sake was, it just made her hungrier. So when she tilted it back again only to find that she'd finished it off, her resolve was solidified.

"Sure, most types of fuel work on this machine, baby." Komi replied, leaning Fenrir over her shoulder with one hand whilst tossing the Sake bottle up over and over again with the other "But don't go blaming me if I make you regret that offer."

Poke-Girl came up offering what looked like pocket change to help Nozomi cover the costs, Prompting Komi to kneel beside her.

"Aw come on, Poke-Girl. You got a big sis willing to treat ya to a fine ass meal over there." she cooed whilst lowering Fenrir to the ground so she could pinch Agotta's cheek "Gotta take advantage of that whole youth n' cuteness shit while ya got 'em."

Standing up, she kicked Fenrir back into her grasp before tossing the empty bottle of sake back to Aza "By the by, ya gonna offer to treat Ole Red Eye over here, too?" she asked Nui "I for one am all kinds o' curious whether she can still down food like a real person."

Komi's reaction was not the one Aza had expected, that was a little sad. She had expected flirting to hopefully be repaid in kind. Likely it was the whole seemingly an alien thing that Komi got hung up on given kyubey didn't fully understand the sayings of humans lacking cultural context most of the time. Aza was tempted to stop though she heard a perfect set up in the rewards Komi had listed. A ride with her, that was far to easy to change it not something the older girls would understand but Agotta might not get. Nozomi it seemed wanted to get Agotta away, and while Aza should be insulted by the mistrust she found it hard to care that the girl was trying all this cloak and dagger nonsense. Other girls had tried it and they had failed. Kyubey had everyone here they could not escape and all were parts of a machine even the incubators. The girls never saw that little detail the incubators were as stuck in this cycle as the girls themselves all working towards saving the universe. Well it wasn't like the girls could hide things, the unseen terminals would watch over the girls and make sure they were properly guarded against any threats physical or emotional. Komi it seemed missed why Nozomi was doing this, but she seemed the kind to solve her problems the most direct way instead of sneaking around forming an alliance. Aza really did wish Kyubey screened the girls better to avoid ones like Nozomi.

" How sad I would much prefer to exchange points for a ride on you" Aza said keeping her smirk. There had been no way she would have passed that up.

When Komi tossed the now empty bottle back Aza frowned a little she hadn't expected Komi to down it all. Aza shook it and sighed seeing it really was fully empty. She didn't bother to say anything about what Komi said hey free meal Agotta should say yes, and it wasn't like Aza wouldn't be aware of what Nozomi was plotting. Komi again showed she wasn't seeing the cloak and dagger nonsense and well someone so direct was nice. Well Aza had always known she would last as a magical girl, just not a a member of a team. The whole food thing was just an excuse and that was why Nozomi had invited everyone but Aza herself. It didn't matter.

" Believe it or not I do eat" Aza sighed " Of course if Nozomi is dead set on going out with Agotta" Aza said before looking right to Komi " Perhaps we should go somewhere and I'll show you just what I can eat" She finished. She would see just how far she could push with Komi in this little flirting war she had decided to start. It was good fun and Komi was cute anyways so it wasn't like her words were completely empty. That of course could just be the human part of Aza seeking desperately for some companion another person that might be able to understand her, The incubator was well not at all understanding even with what changes it had undergone. Nozomi was out as far as companions went, far to untrusting and likely to not be accepting, Agotta was well to young and naive to understand, that left Komi who might just get it.

It didn't take long for Nozomi to lead the strange group to a nearby noodle stall that she had gotten pretty familiar with since she moved to Matsuyama.

The scene of a group of girls wandering around together didn't stand out all that much, at least this early in the night, so despite their contrasts no one paid them much notice as Nozomi let Komi and Agotta get what they wanted.

Aza's utterly strange advances continued to grate on Nozomi. She was acting...very alien, which made sense and strengthened her suspicions. From the looks of it, it wasn't quite working on Komi either, though Agotta might be happy just to go along with things.

Nozomi nodded and tried to at least make conversation with Komi, trying to make it clear Aza shouldn't be the center of their attention. "So...your parents know you're out here?"
