First off, I guess that I should admit that I'm probably a bit younger than a lot of the people role-playing on this site. It's not like I'm super young or anything, I'm 18, turning 19 in August, but from past experience I know that a lot of role players are older than I am. But, despite me still technically being a teen (though also technically an adult -?) I am not stranger to role-playing! I've actually been role-playing for a few years now, since I was about 13-14,. I find role-playing just as fun as writing, creating stories with others is just as great as writing one yourself (in my opinion)!
OOC, I'm one social a*s person. I get side tracked very easily, so plotting roleplays can sometimes take a hot minute when you're plotting one with me. I've never really been good at socializing with uptight people who can't take a joke without starting an argument, and people who are creepy tend to creep me out, but I generally get along with everyone! I'm also pretty mature for my age mentally, I actually started taking college courses when I was in ninth grade, and, surprisingly, I'm going to graduate with an associates degree this year, which is so god d*mn exciting!!!
Roleplay Information
Now, before I list my roleplay information, I'd like to ask you to do one simple thing when reaching out to me for a roleplay: please introduce me to your roleplay style just so we're absolutely sure that we're compatible roleplay partners! It's also a precaution for in case you don't read my roleplay information the whole way through. ^^;
So, I would describe myself as a literate to advanced literate writer. I don't wrote a whole essay per response, but I do like to stay between 3-6 para. Narration wise, I'm perfectly fine with using first or third!
I've noticed that a lot of people have age restrictions for their roleplay partners, and I guess that mine would be... Uhm... I guess that I'd be more comfortable role-playing with people from 16-25? Just to stay in my age range (my age is 18) for when we're plotting and (possibly) chatting OOC.
Response wise, I flicker a bit. You might not get a response from me for a few days sometimes, since I am still a student, so I'm typically online about 4-5 days of the weeks, sometimes less on rare occasions. But oh boy, when I'm online, I am online, as in lightning mcqueen speedy responses unless I'm busy. I'm also pretty active on the weekends! I tend to stay up until around 2:00 AM on Friday and Saturday, PST timezone for reference.
For pairings, I tend to roleplay Canon x Canon pairings more, but I'm more than open to Canon x OC and OC x OC as well. I tend to stick to MxF and FxF for Canon x Canon pairings, mostly cause the only males that I play as character wise are my male OCs. I'm also a bit crack-shippy, meaning I roleplay a lot of rare pairs. So if you're looking for Canon x Canon pairings that almost everyone ships, I might not be your gal. But, also keep in mind that while I do prefer Canon x Canon, there are some fandoms that I will only do Canon x OC or OC x OC for!
For plots, I don't really like to stick to Slice of Life. Don't get me wrong, romance and fluff are yummy and I eat them up like a 5 star meal, but I need some angst or action or drama to even it out. I also like to do platonic pairings sometimes, but that depends on the characters mainly. I also would love if you could help me plot!
