Sawyer
Arm stretched out, ready to turn the door knob. Marina hesitated for a brief moment at the question. The whole finding a mate ritual had never happened and she was just going off of what other’s had said. The two would be drawn to each other, so her wanting her brother to stay away might be difficult. The news she was still unsure she wanted to pass on, so she left without agreeing to it.
Two days it took her to find Sawyer and she really didn’t. It took him two days to come home after the incident and he remained distant and to himself, mulling over his thoughts on what was the best action to take. His sister was being avoided at all cost on purpose to avoid the millions of questions she had thought up in the last forty-eight hours. The door swung open to reveal a very angry Marina. That was enough to say that she knew more than he wanted. The two squabbled quite loudly over his disappearance and how he couldn’t just do that. It grew really serious when she lowered her voice just for the two of them to hear and inquired about the bite. Not in the mood to talk, he stared up at his ceiling, wishing for this to end.
“She wants to talk to you. You shouldn’t, should just stay the hell away.” Marina spat, trying anything to get her brother to engage with her about any of it. A part of her was upset that all of this was going on and straining her new friendship, along with her brother’s and hers relationship. An angry Sawyer turned to her, this time she crossed the line.
“Get out!” he said, chucking the nearest hard object in her direction. The blonde took cover behind the door, crouching down in the hallway. Space, the two needed it before it got any more heated. Sawyer listened to his sister sighing and her soft footsteps leaving. Moments later, when he knew the coast was clear he left the house, regretting coming back in the first place. At first his feet guided him and he was wrapped up in his thoughts to know where they were carrying him, until halfway when he noticed he was going toward her house. He knew he had to do it, so he kept trucking away until he got to Evangeline’s home and then he knocked on the door twice.
