It's what we know, what we have to be to survive, and there is really no way out, at least not that we know of. No one would be crazy enough to trust us, we barely trust each other. We never believed that anyone beyond our town limits would welcome us into their territory....
Everette High was basically the school for delinquents basically you have to go through a metal detector just to get into the school. All of the students there have gotten into some type of trouble with the law, well everyone in the town has at this point. The state has been after the board of education to fix up the school or else they would close it down. Although the teachers and staff tried to turn things around they were unsuccessful. Watson High was the closest school, which was basically a prep school, they had uniforms and everything. They had the best grades, teachers and even sports teams around.
The principle and board of education at Watson High figured that they would never have to deal with the kids from Everette High, they were the worst in the state, grade and just overall wise. But when the officials at Everette High said that they intended to close the school down, they had no choice but to accept the students into Watson High. The principle and superintendent had an assembly for the current students a week before the students from Everette were to arrive, they let everyone know about the situation. The superintendent decided to invite a small group of students from Everette to transfer over first, just to see if the school would be able to handle the integration.
The principle and a group of teachers decided to pick a group of current students to be their "Welcome Committee", along with giving them an assignment. They were to be paired up with an incoming student and together they have to complete an assignment to see if they can work together.
Will it work? will the students be able to get along?
