Realistic or Modern Heroes Will Fall [IC]

  • Zeus
    Brickred Street - Warehouse

Zeus had to admit, teamwork could be great. Until a loud, whiny, pain in the freaking butt started screaming and then turned all that sweetness, vile. "What the heck is making that noise?!" He winced under the sound. It wasn't killing him but it was annoying. Who left their kid here in a place like this and why was this kid crying?

Was it a hero? "God what kind of ability did he get, 'how to be an A-class baby?" Because if his screaming was to go by anything, he'd earned it.

Zeus turned his attention back towards the body that now lay a yard or so away. He gave Tornado one long, silent unreadable stare that the hero probably couldn't see anymore then turned his attention to the lioness and her fight, before turning his attention to Saint. He gave him a thumbs up and Saint returned it with a dismissive wave.

Both turned their attention to Worm when their drift in air and atmospheric pressure changed with everything his wormhole sucked in.

"Damn..." Zeus hissed. There was no way he'd be going anywhere near that guy. One wrong move and he'd be pulled in and nothing could save him then. A cursory glance Retsu's way said she was handling herself fine so Zeus turned to start heading for Saint to discuss their options. Leave or fight.

It wasn't until his eyes caught up on a-- "Whoa", he did a double take. Who's this fox? The young adult blinked once then twice as he tried to get a good grasp at the fine masked female approaching his companion. For a good few seconds, Zeus completely forgot about the potential danger his friend was in when he saw the misses...ahem, proportions, but like any well deserved slap- reality came kicking and Zeus snapped out of his slightly lustful daze.

He signaled Saint with a sign that someone was behind him. A few seconds of silence and Saint signaled back.

Sweet.... He glanced at Retsu, all done with her job. ..... He glanced back at the chick closing in on Saint. I wonder if I can get both their numbers?...or maybe I should just stick with Retsu.

It was a thought he'd have to finish later. Because apparently, incoming debris from an annoying wormhole was coming his way.

Alan || Carbon Dragon

As the dust cleared his biological sensor still picked up life in the white suit. When it fully cleared he saw his own sword going through a wormhole right on white suit's head. He looked down to see the tip of his sword just touch his chest armor. His ambush jets were only used for a second, so he could use those to quickly hop out of the situation. It could be done like that, within a second, however considering he reacted fast enough to catch him while not paying attention made him reevaluate his plan. He then felt two bullets hit his armor before finally noticing the wormhole closing on his sword. He pulled back his right arm as fast as he could, however the tip of the sword was unable to escape. It would matter though, as he was able to reform the tip of the sword in a second. That's when he felt the intense vacuum of the wormholes now around white suit. He thrust his shield into the ground, as well as his sword, in an attempt to lock himself in place from his vacuum.

He knew that these wormholes were not connected to anything, meaning falling into that spelled instant doom. He looked over and saw the spinning top, laying down in a red pool, meaning he was finally killed. However the biggest threat still remained, and he had gotten very serious. Alan had to think of a plan to end this. While these people proved to be more than competent, he couldn't yell out his actions lest the enemy find out. He wasn't near enough to tell someone else of his actions, so he had to go it alone. He switched his optical sensor to target outline and read biological signs and he specifically outline white suit, seeing exactly where he was behind his wormholes. All he needed to do was put his plan into action.
Alan already had an idea on what to do, but this was extremely dangerous and he could end his life by doing this.

His ambush jets were back to full now, and the suction of the wormholes gave him a dumb and very stupid idea. If it worked though it would mean the end of the battle. Everything with this hero is high risk high reward, otherwise it just seems like your half-assing. By using the suction from the wormhole as a basic launch-pad, he could allow himself to fly at white suit without the jets. Just before reaching the entrance of the wormhole he would used his jets to fly up just above white suit, and jet to his side to avoid a potential wormhole catching and stab him with his sword. If this didn't work his life would end, if it did he will have won the battle. So he readied himself for his final coup de gras, for either himself or for white suit. "This is stupid." He mumbled to himself as he lifted both shield and sword out of the ground let himself fly.

As he flew towards the hungry maw of these portals, he planned his best trajectory towards white suit to deliver the final blow. The suction from the wormholes were stronger than he thought, which was a blessing and a curse. This allowed for a fast approach, but his initial timing on target approach had to be reevaluated on the fly. Up until after the first jet burst he would have to rely on eye-sight, which despite his optical enhances could still be mistimed. Using the wormhole as sight line blocker for white suit, near the edge he activated most of his ambush jets to escape the gravitational force of the wormholes. Despite initial outlook he had just a bit more than he initially had thought. He saw white suit right below him and before he had time to put up a wormhole against Alan, he used the remainder of his jets power to steer around him out of his view.

With as much power as he could he thrust the sword directly into his thorax and twisted his sword from a flat position into an upwards one while still inside the cavity. He thrust the sword even deeper into white suits body, staining it even further in blood, allowing the tip of the sword pierce out from the other side of the entry point. He thrust his sword a bit deeper once more before swiftly pulling it back out, along with a quantity of blood and some bone fragments. He knocked him down to the ground by bashing his shield into him, still standing there looking at white suit on the ground.

Chaos. From the loud, consistent ringing and the apparently inflatable blowup doll, to the crazy illusions, it was complete chaos. At least one of them was gone. At first, she had expected it to work to her advantage - and it did, sort of. The clones had stopped the ninja wannabe in his tracks, giving her precious time to subtly position her body into a more advantageous stance, with her left hand closer to her pocket. Since her current plan was to close and finish him off, her switchblade could come in handy for defense. When the ninja wannabe started coming towards her again, she froze like a statue, as if paralysed in fear. In reality, she was simply waiting for a chance to strike like a snek in the grass.

Then came the godawful ringing, invading her senses, though it didn't bother her as much as it should have. That was mostly because she got rid of her sensitive cat ears and blocked her ears soon after Bart Simpson with megaphones went mad. It was a sound plan, if she said so herself, but highly temporary. Having her sense of hearing blocked like this could be dangerous, so she'd undo the shapeshifting the moment Bart was taken care of. The others could enjoy their tinnitus by themselves, she would not be joining them in the ear ringing sensation.

Now that the ninja wannabe was within sufficient range, she quickly took out her switchblade to parry his attack. She honestly couldn't bear prolonged fights, so she wanted to end this quickly. Scratch that, she absolutely despised fighting in general, but heroes will be heroes. With a couple of well practiced steps, she closed what little distance remained; her buffed up legs were sadly useless at this range, other than for escaping. She performed what appeared to be a restrained but all too normal slap, before quickly growing a set of elongated grizzly bear claws midway. They slashed at the man's throat, aiming for his jugular.

The attack was a success, and with the force making impact he was able to use the counter force to hop over the hero to safety. Lunis hadn't even noticed the attempted punch since he was already flying over the Hero's head. The Lunar boy giggled as he spun himself ready to charge back for a second hit only to stumble back from the increasing noise from the hero.

Luckily for him and his furry companions (who are currently huddled around Kuroi), in one giant splat. A fist, bigger than Lunis had ever seen on Earth came crashing down on the hero during their breakdown, a wave of red splashing all around on those in the area. Rubbing his eyes both disbelief and because some blood got into his eyes.
"Noisy Hero has gone ka-splat . . ." He mumbled quietly, placing his hand in the blood staring at it before leaping up in the air cheering, "Yippee! Bad noise has gone bye-bye!" Laughing in delight Lunis hopped over the fist, placing his hands to leave bloodyprints with a 'boop' and boosted himself so he could look around.

Picking them out was easy, and with another hop he was already landing near the Earthling male. Much to Lunis's disappointment, although they weren't nearly as close as he was to the splat, his bunnies still had speckles of blood on them.
."Oh puhuey," Lunis huffed in a pouty, "I just cleaned you guys a few rotations ago."

In response to their master's approach, the lunar bunnies hopped over to him with a grace that didn't match the setting they were in with the chaos going on around them.
"Thank you Earthling for providing nickels for my soldiers." He gave the male a toothy grin and scooped down to collect Puff, who had stubbornly planted himself on the male's shoe. Lunis didn't exactly pick up the bunny, more of him casting his gravity defying abilities on Puff to lift them up into the orbit with the other bunnies. This was mostly to avoid getting blood all over his bunnies, which had splattered over him a lot since he was pretty close to the hero when the lady ka-splated him . . . Not that the blood appeared to bother him much, acting like he wasn't even drenched in it.

The ringing stopped after the death of the hero. Lily took off the cotton in her ears and pocketed them. The warehouse was wrecked. She didn't need to add to the damage with littering. The hero's death was... unorthodox. She never expected for it to happen in such manners. The resulting mess was too widespread to be cleaned. Not that it mattered. If the heroes knew about the meeting, secrecy wouldn't matter too much.

Her body had already been cleansed from the drugs. With a clear mind, Lily turned her attention toward the other villains. The closest one to her was a blue haired boy, or so his physical appearance suggested. He seemed to be the owner of the rabbits. And he was drenched in blood. The sight of him holding a rabbit while covered in red was a bit disturbing.

Lily took a small pack of tissue from her pocket and offered several sheets to the blue-haired boy.

"Here. At least wipe the blood away from your face. It's unsanitary."

Kuroi _Best Nii-san, Only Nii-san_

Kuroi watched as the hero went KERRRSPLAT!!! by someone father away, causing the tidal wave of blood to wash and crash over his new little siblings. He quickly took out his UH off-brand wet wipes and cleaned off the speckles of blood on himself, discarding the wipes somewhere on the floor. The more important part, was that the noise had finally stopped. Thank UH the noise had finally stopped! It didn't ease his pounding headache, but hey, it was a start. He smiled at his little brother's thanks, a job well done for the (self-proclaimed) older brother.

Though the blood currently covering the Lunar distracted him from the praise, and though he noticed Miss Apothecary's offer of wipes for his little brothers face, this was a Nii-san job. Kuroi took out another wipe and proceeded to thoroughly wipe off all blood from his little brothers face with a kind of determination that matched the likes of a soccer mom. He then smiled and said satisfied with his work "there!" He then proceeded to pet his little brother's head and grab his hand, leading him in Nii-sans pursuit to check up on his little sister, Rally.

It didn't take long for Wafflesia to cross the distance between her and the masked villain. Despite the hail of bullets and crazy portal stuff, she reached him without incident, though there was the issue of her portable airbags being more bouncy than usual. Letting out a dramatic 'phew,' she was just about to lean on the man when she stopped herself. "Sup, dude. Just a support main passing through. I got something for ya." She summoned a strength enhancing waffle in her palm, once again with far too much syrup, and presented it to the masked villain.

Of course, she didn't expect the man to just trust her and eat it. Which was exactly why she made this waffle both smell and taste extremely appetising, in a way which would compliment her natural aroma of waffles. It also had a peculiar shape that would easily be recognisable by the impure, perfect for villains. Only the most heretical of heathens would refuse the food of God. No villain (who knew her powers) had ever refused her waffles in the past except for Batty, but he's a prick.

The sheer amount of syrup dripping from the waffle was starting to create it's own little puddle on the concrete floor. A sticky surprise for whoever didn't watch their steps, not that the warehouse would last long enough for that glorious moment. Capt. Ahole was starting to suck everyone in the warehouse. With his portals, that is. He had quite a lot of succing power, possibly enough to finish everyone. Off. She'd seen better succing powers before, though. Perhaps if he used his mouth - like Kirby - for a stronger succ, she'd be more impressed.

The overflowing syrup was getting sucked up, much to her distress. Why couldn't the portals just succ up some people instead of her precious syrup? "Hey, just stuff this in your mouth already and swallow. You'll get stronk." She said, now clinging onto the man's shoulder to avoid the super succ. Worst case scenario, a forced piggy back ride would occur. However, she was very skilled in the art of riding men, so that was unlikely to pose any issues. It was really no different from bull riding.

Saint
Brickred Street - Warehouse

Being distracted was never a good thing. Saint knew that, but he couldn't help it. Between watching out for the villain as she made her way towards him and watching out for any stray debris that would come flying him-- now their, way, he only gave the villain a glance of acknowledgement when she huffed. Then dutifully turned his attention back to Capt. Wormhole's display, only tuning back to look at what the female had offered when the villain said: "I got something for ya."

Those words alone made Saint's brows knit together in a display of curiosity and utmost caution. When he snapped his attention back to her, he barely caught it, but he caught sight of something appear out of thin air. On closer inspection, he saw it was....A waffle?

For one brief moment, Saint's guard went all the way down in a moment of complete befuddling. One nanosec later it went right back up, as he shifted his weight to another foot and made a display of having those incinerating eye holes looking between waffle holder and disgustingly drippy waffle.

In an alternate universe, if Saint had been a more chill guy, he would've laughed. She waded through danger just to give him a waffle? Either her waffle gave you powers, or she was picking a very poor time to make friends.

But Saint, being a man of skepticism doubted the latter heavily, and instead chose the former as his reasoning. Waffles had to be some sort of power of hers. Eating her's could do anything to him. And give her just as much control at the same time. Whether he wanted to test the theory of allowing that waffle to enter his mouth and do whatever it is she had in mind, was an entirely different story. And wait-- Did she just say 'stronk'?

He didn't get the chance to ask when wind pressure increased and he felt a slight tug forward towards the portal the captain was making. Distracted as he glanced back to the Captain, Saint caught sight of movement. It was hard to pay attention when things were going on with the captain but it was even harder to focus when that heavenly aroma of waffle and syrup wafted through the filters in his mask and somehow entered into his nose.

The aroma was strong enough that he found his hand moving towards hers to grasp the waffle. If it hadn't been for that shockwave and the lurch that caused her to touch his shoulder, he may have taken it.

But with Waffle girl's touch, came a strong overpowering feeling of disgust. And it took more willpower than Saint imagined necessary to not smack the villain's hand clean off his shoulder then twist it into a wrist lock.

"No thank you." The hollow voice intoned, it did well to cover the level of annoyance Saint felt at having her touch him without his permission, regardless, he wrapped an armored arm around her waist and pulled her in close enough that the intoxicating smell of syrup and waffle almost made him want to change his mind and say he'd eat it. Regardless he remained silent, using his body as an anchor to keep her steady.

Once or twice he glanced down at her waffle. The scent was starting to get to him again, but the fact she was so close kept his brain functioning. Having a stranger no matter how attractive, so close and so near did more than annoy Saint beyond feasible understanding, the fact that he was keeping someone with such a strong aroma around him for the sake of not getting possibly stabbed in the back was the only benefit he saw of this. The only perk that came with keeping her close enough that he could squeeze her, was keeping her close enough so that he could crush her if she got any ideas that involved his untimely death.

Grumbling as he pulled her in tighter, Saint kept his head pointed away to avoid sucking up any more of that intoxicating scent. Then began inching his way towards what little cover remained around the corner, trying to drag her along as he did.

  • ~The Elites~

The warehouse had fallen into a lull. The entire side was silent. The heroes were an unexpected occurrence but it yielded good results. Had it been more heroes Red may have told Data, Death, and Monty to get Glitch and run. It’d take him one cut to bring down the entire warehouse, and everyone here was expendable anyways. It’d barely take half a cup of blood to bring down the shitty place.
The warehouse had just stopped shaking with the force of the soundwaves. Red had managed to see the green haired hero stumble to the ground from getting shot but he had no idea how. Before the hero even got off his knees the multicolored toony girl had left him as a spray of blood and guts. It seemed it got on quite a few recruits. He wondered how many were aware of the power that blood of mutants.
He knew there was a third hero around, you just didn’t live long without good senses. He didn’t however know exactly where the hero was until he heard a thud and saw a pool of blood at the feet of one of the new recruits. Yes this group had promise.
He came out from the corner he’d been chilling in to call out to the recruits. He knew they were probably still trigger happy and decided to make his presence known loudly first letting out a whistle.
“Nice job, Villains. Before You all come rushing me let it be known that you’ll kill yourself if you try. My blood is quite, explosive.”
He continued into the center of the warehouse as he called out to those close to the debris. He figured they could at least be warned before getting scared to death via ship.
“Hey you guys are gonna wanna back up from there quickly.”
Shkkk As if in sink, two heroes had now lost their lives to the criminals of the world. The blade was too much for her body to take, the confident smirk relaxed into a look of the dead. She fell to the ground, adrenaline can’t help the dead. Then there was Wormhole, a pro hero finally taken down by the hands of an old pro himself. The portals suction seemed to slow down before closing completely with white suit now being red suit. The two were dead, that was all that mattered.
The blaring of a ship seemed to get louder and louder. The sound becoming a scream as the back wall of the warehouse was demolished. A massive steel tanker rammed the place. The Death Doctor sweared under his breath. “I should have put that outside.” The Doctor ran through the rafters and jumped onto the deck of the ship to meet a pale white girl. “D-Did I do well?” The Death Doctor glared “Perfect.” He ran past the girl, going towards the controls to shoot out the stairs. Data ran up them immediately, activating the remaining speakers. “Everyone, we’re done here.” Then he tapped into the personal call with his elites. “Grab Glitch and let’s get the hell out!”
Red left Data to lead out the recruits as he went to scout out the surrounding areas. He had already seen enough to believe that there was at least two people running around outside. The giant snake man and whoever their mysterious gunman was. He wasn’t gonna be yelling at the top of his lungs but they’d already got enough of a show from Death and Barbarian. He was quick to do a quick taxi whistle. He saw a few look towards him immediately. He was quick to spot out the ones that seemed to have too much interest in the warehouse and rounded them up.
“C’mon or we leave you guys behind.”

VesperFeeble. Ineffectual. Futile. Vesper barely gave the heroes any thought. All of them were far beneath her notice. Bright often came up with very fitting koans, and the one she was recalling now was the one about empty pots making the loudest of noises. Perhaps she would have deigned to raise a single finger to spear the one surrounded with wormholes immediately if the fact that Paladin being in immediate danger didn't draw to her attention more. With a slight twitch of her head, a block of cinder stopped short of being swallowed by one of the wormholes and moved towards the Paladin, pushing him away from the wormholes.

Then, just as quickly as the noise had come upon them, it died down. Vesper did not need to look around to know that the battle had been finished. Boss battle indeed. The fool was taken down by brute force, which would have been an unviable tactic in any of the boss battles she had faced in her games. Apparently, this was one of those easy modes where repeated use of the same tactic would eventually cheese the boss. She made her way to the Paladin and attempted to help the older man to his feet.

A taller female attempted to clamber, less gracefully, over the hole that the shorter one had made, then tumbled over, falling straight onto her ass. Vesper barely gave her any notice as she leapt back up to her feet and dusted herself down, before straightening up, grinning the whole while. “Missed anything important, Pal?” There was a telltale hint of amusement in her voice. She knew just exactly what she had missed. Something told Vesper that she had intentionally not participated in the mess purely because it would have been far too dull for her. That, or she just didn't want to waste energy or bullets on anything beneath her notice. Either way, this woman had the right idea. Just not one Vesper appreciated. Bright didn’t seem to care about the withering glance that Vesper threw her direction, and seemed more intent on the ship that had just crashed into the warehouse.

“We should go. Wouldn’t want to keep our employers waiting, would we?” She moved to Paladin’s side, removing a phone from her pocket and typed a rapid message to someone before tucking it back into her pocket. She just seemed very nonplussed about the whole matter. Perhaps that was why Vesper tolerated her. She was just, overall, very hard to impress, and never asked questions. She just went with it. Reasons meant nothing to the woman. ‘The end justifies the means’ applied to both Paladin and Bright. They were more like than either would care to admit.

Vesper nodded to Bright, then to Paladin, and both women waited for their team’s de facto leader to make his own move.

As soon as dipping out of cover to fire on the wannabe tornado the man he thought Dragon had put down decided to teleport to the middle of the area. Within moments he encased himself with portals, all of which creating a powerful vacuum that sucked in the debris around. He clicked his tongue as the cargo container beside him was hoisted from the ground and drawn towards the portals. Sadly he didn't weigh more than a cargo container so if it went, so did he. At this point the actions of the other villains weren't something he was worried about as he reached for something in one of the pouches on his belt.

Before he could get what he was after he caught sight of a large chunk of debris moving in a highly unnatural way. He immediately recognized it for what it was, wasn't the first time Vesper had helped him out in this way. He braced himself as he landed on the block of cinder. As he was preoccupied it seemed one of their 'comrades' had finished the fight as the portals ceased to exist. With the suction no longer there to help keep him in place he fell unceremoniously to the ground below. He slowly pulled himself up to his feet, all but ignoring the helping hand of Vesper. He wasn't old enough yet to require her help in standing up.Still he reached out and patted the girl on the head with a simple "Good job, kid." As he took a few steps towards where their little final boss had been.

Sure enough Dragon loomed over the body, sword impaled into the now crimson suit of the former hero. A cursory scan revealed that both tornado and tank girl had been done in by the other villains. And the lack of noise from the other side of the debris suggested the other side had been equally victorious. He couldn't help but feel his contribution was virtually non-existent. Then again it wasn't like he went out of his way. All the youthful recruits were diving headlong in, giving it all they had while he just sat back and casually emptied a few mags. Not a bad price to pay to see the capabilities of his potential allies.

He turned back to Vesper, offering the girl a small shrug. "Looks like we weren't needed on this one." He was about to just head on back home when he caught sight of a familiar face haphazardly clambering into the warehouse. The accompanying question was received by a silent, lingering stare for a few seconds before finally his voice echoed from beneath his helmet. "Nothing they couldn't handle." He thumbed the crowd behind him. "Of course I remember telling you to watch over Vesper. Imagine my surprise when she shows up." He nodded his head to the girl beside him as he referenced her. He knew better than to expect anything more than some insincere 'sorry' from Bright. Not that it mattered much in the end, none of them were needed anyways.

The sudden crash kept him from making any more half-assed remarks about Bright's terrible babysitting job as he turned to look at the bow of a ship now firmly embedded in the warehouse. The words of their 'employers' making the situation pretty clear. He glanced over as Bright walked up beside him, reaching up to pull the now-spent cigarette from his helmet to drop to the ground below. He still wasn't entirely convinced they should even bother with it. Having their little recruitment party crashed by heroes didn't make for the best first impression. And then being dragged on some ship with limited means of escape. The whole thing seemed like a bad setup to him. Ultimately the decision was made regardless of his doubts. Any possible tool he could make use of, he would. And so with that in mind he offered a nod in response to Bright's comment. "Let's see what they have to offer, then." He made his way forward, heading onto the boat along with everyone else.

367

With everything done and dusted, and all the heroes taken care of, 367 spent a few moments to reload and then dismantle his gun once again. After slipping the parts of his sniper rifle back into the guitar case they started in, and now wearing his shirt like normal, 367 decided to make himself known - well, at least as known as someone like him could possibly be - to the group. Despite this, however, he still hid himself in the shadows. He took noticed of everyone - where they were, what they looked like and, if he saw, what they could do. It was his job to know where people were, and he was good at it. All the while, he made special note of those who paid attention to him.

At first, no one did seem that bothered about him. Whether they were still excited by their adrenaline, or simply didn't care, 367 didn't mind. He preferred it when people didn't know where he was - even those that he might see as allies. After all, those who got close to assassins usually didn't live long, in one way or the other.

Approaching the warehouse, even 367 was surprised (not that it showed) to see a large ship embedded into the warehouse wall - it was a miracle it was still standing. This was definitely going to grab the public's attention, so 367 seemed to become more paranoid. He checked for cameras, witnesses and anything that could possibly ID him. Satisfied, however, that nothing could identify him, he climbed onto the boat and waited for further instructions. He stood calmly and rigid, like a statue, as he waited.

The alien boy had taken the wipes from the Pretty Earthling graciously, but before he had the chance to wipe himself the male Earthling pulled out a wipe of their own and cleaned his face for him. Has the Earthling had a moment of enlightenment and finally understands that Lunis is the true leader of them all? With this idea in mind, Lunis seemed a little lighter on his feet from the joy at the Earthling's submission to the Lunar Empire. Under the patting of the head, he was beaming and was about to thank the male Earthling for their support but was interrupted from being pulled along.

Due to his low gravity, there was little to no resistance in being dragged along with the Male Earthling, leaving his bunny army to scurry along to keep up with their master. It appeared that Male Earthling wanted to regroup with the Little Female Earthling. Just in time it seemed, since a giant Metal thingy busted inside and a authority figure seemed to be directing them onto it.

"Its a metal whale!" Lunis exclaimed as his jaw dropped in surprise.
He still didn't know what was going on, and he wished Mystro was here with him to explain things to him, or even Kon. With none of those two available, the Lunar turned to the Male Earthling for guidance and gave a little squeeze, still holding his hand. The gesture was mostly of dominance, reminding the Earthling that his leader was here and ready to be taken to the next level . . . Of course it didn't really come off as that, looking more like a lost child than a strong leader.

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan saw the life slowly leave the pro hero. On the outside his body looked relaxed and calm, but on the inside the adrenaline and thoughts on how different that could have gone filled him. He was dancing with death and he had to get a perfect one hundred to survive, and he knew that missing even one step would have been the end of him. After the heartbeat stopped and no signs of life could be picked up from white suit, his blade slowly diminished in size before disappearing and revealing his hand. He took one deep breath and released it, but his adrenaline was still high and his heartbeat was beating fast. He then felt the ground shake and heard a large horn blare, making him look over to the source to see the tip of a large tanker penetrate the warehouse.

After the stairs to gain entry to the ship fell onto the ground he heard the same voice on the speakers from the beginning of the battle. It was a short and concise sentence, but it was enough for Alan. His shield went away and he walked towards the tanker and saw a small groups of people walking towards the tanker as well. He walked up there alone and as he approached he heard some others talking about what happened or just towards each other. He walked up the incline and onto the ship's deck, waiting for the next words from the leader of this group.

She took a deep sigh as Red appeared and praised their effort. For her, it was a confirmation that the threats are eliminated. It mattered not whether the praise was genuine or not. Before she could calm her heart, a horn blasted into the night. Her ears started to ring again. The sound was accompanied by the sound of wood breaking apart. The tip of a ship had wrecked the warehouse.

She felt pity for the owner of the warehouse.

A speaker crackled into life and called for everyone to board the ship. The illusionist and blue haired boy had left. Were they siblings of some sort? They seemed very close together. Without anyone else to wait, she climbed the stairs and stood on the deck. A few person were on board, most notably one in a black armour suit. His physique must be amazing to be able to move in that armour. Curious, but also a stranger to the man. Lilian instead faced the warehouse, or the remnant of it.

  • Zeus
    Warehouse - Crash Junction

Sore and slightly aching but not really caring, Zeus straightened himself out from his braced panting position, only to take a step forward and slouch against the wall. Now that A-Hole was dead, he could relax. Perhaps punching the bigger pieces of wall chunks had been a bad idea and perhaps over exerting himself using wicked tricks that no one was really paying attention to hadn't been the brightest move, but the point was- he was still alive. The real question was-- his eyes widened as Saint, his buddy old pal, jumped right into his head. And with his sudden panic so came a rush of adrenaline that seemed to sweep away any form of exhaustion.

"Shit! SAINT!" he called out. Moving a step then needing to stop before he tripped over his own feet. "Damn", his static voice buzzed. Am I really that tired? Fuck, I gotta hold off on those chili dogs late at night "SAINT! Where are you bro?"

There was no reply. At least not immediately.

A low hum sounded not to far away behind a collection of barely organized crates and a second later Zeus' heightened vision caught sight of his friend's gauntlet led by his gloved hand that gave the self-proclaimed god, a thumbs up. And with the relieved sigh came a small grin. Zeus would've fucking murdered these guys if his buddy had died.

He didn't know how. He didn't know if he even could do it on his own. But somehow, he knew. If his buddy had died tonight, people would die. Instincts from 3 years ago would just come flooding back and he knew those instincts well. They'd been dark. And it'd been bloody. Ignoring those homicidal thoughts of destruction like it was no big deal, the teen began moving towards his companion's position till his hears finally caught up to the words one of the big honcho's, and for a few brief seconds Zeus was completely confused.

That was until a freaking bow crashed through the warehouse and made the unstable just a bit more unstable. "CHRIST ON A PLATTER!" he swan dived for cover only to land on the floor and find no cover whatsoever. Oh for fucks-- He just shielded himself with his arms and waited for any small fragments of detritus to fall. Surprisingly enough....none did. It took him several seconds to realize that. And when he did some of the others were already passing him and TV Screen over there had said it was time to leave.

Double checking to make sure he wasn't too bad off, Zeus got up, dusted himself off and acted like the past ten seconds hadn't just happened before he called out to Saint as he looked around for the drunk lioness, "Hey Saint! I'm going ahead, meet you up top! You see Retsu get her to tag along! And bring that hottie with you to!" With his message sent, Zeus headed towards the stairs. Letting some of the others that had gone ahead go up before him and keeping a cautious eye for anyone that may knife him in the back.

    Warehouse -> On Ship

Rally fell into sitting on the floor as Sonar was defeated. It was far more than she was used to. Completely possible but it felt almost like overstretching a muscle. She hadn’t needed to use that much force to hold back someone since well forever. Usually people didn’t tend to be able to resist her power. She felt gross she gasped at the wrong time and managed to wind up swallowing some of his blood. Part of her wanted to get back up and put on a cheerful guise but the other wanted to just plummet to the ground completely and whine until she was carried.
She decided she couldn’t be so pathetic just yet, after all she wasn’t even tired. She was quick to make sure her poisons and antidotes hadn't crashed and broke in her bag. Maybe she needed to find better containers to keep them in rather than a thick glass. One she was done she stood up and threw the bookbag on her shoulder again. She took a light breath in and turned to Kuroi who was making his way to her along with the blue haired boy.
    “Kuroi, Kuroi He went splat!”
Before she could even get any further a ship slammed into the warehouse. She was instantly excited again. It was cool. She saw the Red shouty dude from before telling them to follow the TV head into it. Was that what they were coming here for? She already got all the excitement she was expecting, there was no way she wasn’t joining this group. She turned on her heel and ran towards the ship, yelling back to Kuroi as she did.
“Come on let's get on the ship. It looks interesting!”

Kuroi _Trying to Move the Plot Along by Power of Children_

Kuroi quite literally did not notice the giant ship crashing into the side of the warehouse. Let it be known, he was foregoing such a fact to instead get to Rally. Doing the traditional soccer mom wiping her face off before grabbing her hand too. He nodded along when she commented on how the boy had went splat, he was still trying to wrap his head around it still.

This is around when his hand was squeezed, causing Kuroi's Nii-san instinct to kick in. Of course, this is when he finally noticed the big ass boat in the side of the warehouse, and Lunis's exclamation of shock as Rally had a similar (less confused) reaction. He chuckled at the two, truly like children to him, as he explained to the confused Lunis "Ah, that's just a very large ship. A very large ship indeed..." he himself then took in the glorious sight that was a large boat broken into the side of the warehouse. It was interesting, as Rally herself had decreed.

Besides, people were already being corralled into it, at least on their side. Kuroi, taking matters into his own hands, and so "well, let us go!" was said, and the adopted family members were dragged onto the ship's desk as per request of the resident little sister.

The Omega

She was dead, that was a given."Fuck," he muttered under his breath now that the sounds of rapid gunshots disappeared completely. There was no more worry of getting shot, at least that was what he thought. Whilst killing was a skill he's long since become proficient in, a hero had never been one of those kills. A feeling of adrenaline was clearly present, the hormone pumping through his veins now. He's never had to fly that much to kill a single person, as a single solid strike to the head then a hard collision with the concrete or a simple stab right through where the back of the neck usually killed any normal person real easy. Truth be told, he wanted to play a little bit more with her but unfortunately he'd gotten overboard with his slams and now he kneeled into a pool of blood that anyone could tell came from her head. Completely fresh blood, straight from the corpse. The taste of iron was usually prominent.

A little bite of raw meat wouldn't hurt anyone, there was a chance he would contract kuru disease if he ate the brain but that was about it. Blood could potentially be dangerous due to sickness, and he could get disease through drinking it but a hero had to be healthy so there no problem in that, right? The golden eyed paid no attention to all the insanity and pure chaos around him, chaos akin to the internet, and simply sat his gaze upon the body of the now diseased female hero. Bloodstains now soaked the lower part of his trousers, and his shoes are now dirty but honestly, he had a lot more in his closet just in case things got messy in his usual killings. A lot more, just like the skeletons in his closet that he kept locked away in a metaphorical closet in the back of his head. All begging to be put out of their misery, to be let out and free for once, with some of the loudest being the voices of his parents, but he's lived with that. He was fucked up, but so was everyone here.

Ripping off one of her limbs with full force, blood poured out and he soon came to be drinking it. Like the deranged maniac he was, calm and uncaring as he may be sometimes. The last time he's done something like this was back at the start of his life as a new cannibal. Reminiscent of what he did to his own direct blood, the two people most unworthy of children in his opinion, his parents. He was only thankful he didn't have any siblings, but with the infinite number of possibilities, both comprehensible and incomprehensible, who knows? He might have half siblings somewhere. He didn't think his parents really loved each other that much so they might have been seeing others. He's not even sure his father is his father, their powers were different after all. The bastard had telepathy, he had a touch-based version of telekinesis and a field around him passively that he could use.

Sinking his teeth in like a wolf or a lion in famine, his teeth had a new color. As red as blood is when it hits oxygen, with the slight white of his teeth. Black gloves stained in red liquid, a perfectly white shirt now dirty with bloodstains. At least it wasn't bloodstains in the carpet. Those were always a bitch to clean. White sleeves stained with red, it was like he was taking a shitty bloodbath. Eating this raw wasn't unfamiliar to him, fits of rage usually were the moments he did. The Omega continued with his consumption of her raw muscle and flesh. Even biting into the bone with relative ease. All the while everyone did other things and contributed to the chaos, he ate like it was normal. This most likely wasn't hygienic at all, but he was enjoying himself so he didn't care. There were loud sounds, but they didn't bother him much. An avid listener of noise and strange music like him was used to the extreme loudness.

It'd probably be better if he just took her body with him and eat it there instead. It's better than this place at least. Soon after he finished eating the arm like a rabid dog, it appeared that everything else had finished. And by that time, the Omega was now more or less extremely bloody. What was once an all white mask possessed stains of blood, his shirt was so much more dirty and anyone that wasn't blind or stupid could tell it was blood. Who he presumed to be one of the actual members of this New Anarchist group came out, and soon there was a yacht-like boat and a whistle could be hard. The masked villain turned his head towards it, and grabbed the body of the dead girl with him. The bodies around were more or less going to be wasted, so he should at least make use of one of them. Slinging it over his shoulder, he brought it with him.

A bloody man in white and red, carrying a body over his shoulders shouldn't be that suspicious among a group of villains. Everyone here has probably killed at least once, so nobody should really care. He doesn't know these people so he's just gonna assume.
"...I'll be taking this with me," he said to no one in particular as he went to board their ship. Hopefully this was allowed, because if it wasn't, this would be some real shitty villain group. Anyways, he's gonna bring this with him no matter what.

Tank Girl. Poor girl. This day didn't go the way you thought it would, did it? Retsu didn't mourn her passing, and before long the whole shebang was at an end. All things considered, a giant ship ramming into the warehouse from the sea wasn't even the most unexpected thing that took place that evening (looking at you, Mr. Armor Man). Retsu took it, like she did all things, in stride, and was quick to hop aboard without too much protest from the other members. But not before she wiped the gore off of her blade.

Retsu paid no mind to the others nearby. For now, it seemed, the danger had passed. Now, the next thing on her mind was where they were headed. She shimmied over to the one barking orders - he must be pretty important, here - and decided to ask the question she imagined was on everyone's mind. "So... Eh, what's next? Yer gonna take us to yer secret base, or somethin'?" She decided to be mums about her doubts about this organization's security, or the loyalty of its members. It was certainly not by accident that the heroes had found them all.

Animus
??? - Ship

Finally deciding what to do next, Desmond felt a physical interruption that shook up his fetal position. One that made his body shake back into the seat then inch forward with the help of motion thanks to the mechanic's little attempt. Turning his spiritual self to look at Zeke only to be greeted by the feeling of a tap on his cheek, if Zeke had looked he would've noticed Desmond's ten second delayed frown. But because the young teen couldn't talk in his current state and couldn't politely tell the guy who'd possibly saved his life that he was being very rude, Desmond chose to ignore Zeke's attempts at waking him, by gently snoring and not moving a muscle.

Turning his thoughts away from Zeke and focusing his powers on the task at hand, Desmond did a thing. A thing that tore up his spiritual self and broke it down into fragments that got carried away by the slightest breeze and proceeded to spread along the length of the entire boat. Raining down like snowflakes that didn't actually change the temperature or do anything to the wind, but falling down in visible blue fragments that occasionally touched someone or something on the boat.

When a fragment touched a person, Desmond felt their essence, their life- their emotions. Colors of all kinds flashed into his mind as they took the form of their owners; he sensed a woman with a sword, got hit with the energy of a girl who's aura bubbled excitedly then felt a gentle darkness of another boy followed by the curious and foreign energy of a child-like entity trailed by bunnies. He noted the explosive energy that came off a redhead, got tickled by the auras of a smoker and a girl beside him, was bombarded with the radiant cold light that came off the woman next to them, then felt a hint of aura from the man with a TV for a head. As the fragments of his spiritual self rained down on the boat he felt almost everyone that was touched by it and immediately had a small vision of what they looked like or at least a slight physical description that would made it easy to point them out once he woke up.

It was at a full two minutes as all this went down and as Desmond sensed each person on the boat enter, he tried to feel out the familiar and unique auras belonging to the two he wanted. It wasn't until he felt an electric pulse touch one of his fragments that he knew 'Zeus' was on board and then shortly after felt a vibrating hollowness that told him Saint wasn't far behind. Feeling the familiarity of those auras turned that frown upside down and in a few seconds all signs of raining blue flakes slowly faded, then stopped altogether as Desmond stirred from slumber.

He blinked once, blinked twice, then rose rubbing one eye as he turned his attention to Zeke who's aura he could just barely make out. Blinking slowly as he recalled who this was the young teen immediately sat up and offered a nervous smile. "Um...uh", fumbling for something to say Desmond eyes avoided contact till he recalled his manners and switched from nervousness to sincere. "Thanks for helping me back there." His smile turned warm and didn't wane, but he didn't waste any time sitting there and chatting it up with the mechanic. Without another word and with a small stretch Desmond moved to open the door and offering one small wave in Zeke's direction of friendly goodbye, he exited the vehicle and began searching for his friends.

367

As if he was more eagle than man, 367's eyes scoured the ship. Nothing escaped his gaze - he was trained in a way that made military camp seem like primary school, so he was well versed in finding things that people want to keep hidden. Security cameras, areas where one could hide bodies or stash weapons...you know, normal stuff. He also looked over all the people on the boat - already devising ways he might need to incapacitate them. However, his thin, black eyebrows raised slightly as his gaze came across Vesper.

She didn't seem particularly interesting to 367. She was clearly young, perhaps her mid teens, and showed telekinetic potential. She seemed very thin, but nothing about her physical appearance was what attracted his gaze - well, apart from her mask. He recognised that mask. He'd recognise it anywhere.

His face remained unchanged, resembling more of a statue than a man of flesh and blood, but he stared intensely at her face. Unbeknownst to everyone, it wasn't so much her face that he was interested in, but what was on it. Walking up to the girl, giving little to no mind to her two companions - possibly her parents or something - he stood completely motionless as he spoke. "Where did you get that?"

The fight was over, and though he didn't get the spotlight he wanted, he was happy that it was over. But the giant crashing sound made him think otherwise. He turned only to see a boat, and several people getting on said boat, with the familiar voice from before yelling at people to get on the boat. He quickly made his way over to the boat, which was much, much bigger then he had originally thought. He's mind immediately thought of some of the Yachts he saw in Japan, all of them owned by Yakuza. Guess rich criminals just had a thing for boats. Either way, he soon found his way onto the boat, making his way onto it, utterly confused as to where to go. He turned around, a puzzled lock on his face, partly blocked by the tops of his wings, his hand peaking out of his cloak, with one finger out as if to meekly ask for assistance. Hopefully someone would be able to help him without yelling at him.

Aia had been looking everywhere. For a couple months now she had been scowering the city for Bright in between feeding times which consisted of busting into any nearby restaurant or store and cleaning out there meat lockers before going back to searching for Bright. Eventually her search had taken her by the docs and shipping warehouses on the waters of the city. Admittedly she enjoyed the less people but it was harder to find food on the docks. Aia had been there for two days now and was about to move on before something intriguing caught her attention. As she looked through a warehouse for food her nose caught a similar scent. Immediately stopping she looked up and around the building before she pointed her nose to the sky and took a couple sniffs of the air. Yes the similar scent, it was Bright it had to be. Quickly Aia leaped out of one of the skylights that covered the warehouse's roof, gently landing in a crouched position facing the sea. Taking another couple sniffs of the air Aia whipped her head to the right. There a couple warehouses down sat a big boat rammed into the side of one of the warehouses. Even though Aia was alien to earth she knew enough about earth to know that wasn't normal, but that's where her mothers scent was coming from so she started in that direction. Leaping from one roof to the other in silence she soon hopped down behind the warehouse the boat was smashed into. Seeing a set of opened doors she snuck over and peeked in to the door way to see a ton of different people all gathered towards the boat. It was a very curious sight but Aia had more important matters to attend to.

Slipping around the side of the building soon she found her self to the left of the boat. She was sure now that Bright was aboard the ship and couldn't help but feel anxious to see Bright again. Looking at the boat before looking back to the people gathered around the part that was smashed into the warehouse to make sure no one was looking in her general direction. Once she was sure it was good she darted for the side of the ship. Jumping up to the first railing she grabbed a hold of the rails and took another look around the ship before she hoisted her self up and over the rails. Staying in a low crouched position as she looked at her immediate surroundings with the hull of the ship where everyone was being to her right, the back of the ship being to her left and a couple doors in font of her she figured shed find Bright inside. Taking another couple sniffs in the air before she crawled over to the door and slipped inside. She was almost instantaneously lost as she looked down the whit hall of the ship, the scent of metal and machinery being all she could smell she then poked her tongue out to see if she could sense anything but it was all the same, shed have to rely on sight and hearing this time. Cautiously Aia started to make her way into the ship. turning a corner and heading for the hull of the ship in silence hopping no one would come along. Though before she got to far along the smell of meat flooded the air around her. Aia had found her way to the kitchen and that wasn't good to say the least. Taking in a big whiff before her stomach growled a little Aia knew she couldn't wait for food. It didn't take her long to find the doors to the kitchen at all, Gently she pushed her head through the door and looked around. Not seeing anyone she quickly moved into the kitchen, following the scent of meat as she neared the fridges. Quickly she pulled open the doors to the fridge and proceeded to grab all the meat she could carry. Smiling with delight as she set the meat on the ground she lifted herself up with her tail. Bending down she grabbed a frozen steak from her pile and moved her self into a curled up position, her tail acting like a seat as it held her about 4-5 feet off the ground as she brought the chilled steak to her mouth and bit into it. Tearing a peace off and swallowing it down before she continued to eat in piece not knowing that the door she had entered through was wide open. Once she finished her steak she caught scent of something different just across a counter. Wanting to know what it was she hopped onto the counter to find the counter covered in cooking supplies and utensils. In a panic she tried to avoid kicking anything off to the floor but failed miserably as metal mixing bowls came crashing to the floor along with cooking ingredients and other things all with a loud crashing sound. Startled by the noise Aia jumped a little only to hit her head on the racks hanging off the ceiling that contained pots and pans that gladly fell to the floor as well only causing more crashing sounds. Quickly hopping off the counter Aia brought her hands to her head, groaning a little as the pain of hitting her head subsided before she went back to her pile of food. Giving up on the interesting smell due to the giant mess she had just caused as well as all the noise. Picking up a big ham she started to chow down on it while watching a couple bowls roll across the floor not paying attention to if anyone had heard the ruckus she had just caused

Red wasn’t sure what they were waiting for. What an invitation? He just walked the last of the stragglers onto the boat to see a bunch of them just standing around with some rare conversation happening. He let out a sigh as he yanked the ladder back into the side of the ship. God he hoped that he didn’t have to deal with quiet shy mice until they up and died.
He supposed he had to hand it to the drunk she seemed smarter than the rest. Seems everyone else had the idea that they should just wait around until they were given info. That’s the kind of shit that made people useless. He finished tying the ladder up to the side before turning to her. Well she was certainly a looker. He didn’t focus on that long though he was working.
“Yup it’s back to base. Not sure how much I trust you assholes just yet but… well you’ll see soon enough that it’s a rather idiotic idea to try to double cross us. There’s not a chance you could win. Anddd as much as I’d love to keep talking doll, it seems I need to herd some sheep”
He let out a cocky smile as started walking backwards to the center. He let out a small laugh as he turned to continue walking forwards. He let out a quick whistle to get their attention before he started a speech and wasted his breath on people who wouldn’t be listening. He kicked open the shutter that covered the staircase down.
“Hey, sheep gather round ‘cause I’m only explaining this once. Just below as you walk down these stairs is the first level. There’s three. Top’s all you guys, kitchen, bathrooms, bar up front technically mine but go wild. There’s one room you can’t get into. It’s locked for now, don’t be the bitch that takes that as a challenge to get in Data locked it so it ain’t opening. It’s a real simple layout one hallway.”
He paused for a moment to make sure they were all keeping up. He didn’t want them to think he was doing question and answer though so he kept going the second he saw they all seemed to at least not be totally lost. After all he didn’t want them bothering him with stupid questions later.
“Floor below that is the cabin deck. First two rooms are for the elite’s we find you there we kick your ass. Every room in the hall is up for grabs. I’ma say that the girls side is left and guys are right but you probably won’t listen anyways, keep your gross ass noises down though. Three beds to a room so don’t all pile into one you retards. Last room is Data’s you won’t be able to get in if you tried but I’ll still toss you overboard for trying so don’t piss me off. Below that the only thing you’re gonna be able to open is the storage rooms and sickbay, as a warning one of our elites practically lives there. Don’t piss him off either, he’ll fuck you up and then I’ma beat your ass.”
He turned back to the front of the boat where Death and barbarian were still. They seemed ready to set sail again. Hopefully this time would be smoother sailing. He didn't feel like Death was gonna be trying to hard to care though.
