Realistic or Modern Heroes Will Fall [IC]

Carbon Dragon.png

Alan || Carbon Dragon

As Alan was approaching to get close to speed towards the bullet manipulator, he saw two of the people from earlier attack at either side. This was good, the other two would now be distracted and be forced to fight his two allies. At the same time from behind him he heard bullets from two handguns going right towards the person Alan was targeting. Finally he looked up slightly and saw a grenade fly over him towards the heroes. The situation was beginning to turn up for his side, with the main threat being overwhelmed by the numerous projectiles and his flanks being assaulted. He put his rifle on his back and formed his sword on his right arm, preparing his ambush jets. As he was about to make his assault numerous bullets hit his shield which made him cancel his attack. Suddenly the grenade exploded and instead of the grenade shrapnel on the heroes, Alan could feel the brunt of the shrapnel hit his shield. All of the projectiles thrown at him, were directed back. The situation began to turn down once again, when suddenly Alan could feel the ground beneath him open up.

He quickly looked down to see some kind of portal beneath him. He fell through and the next thing he knew he was nearly on top of the heroes, who had by this point counter attacked the two flankers. Alan was about to brace for impact, but then he remembered his plan. He was well within thirty feet, let alone thirty meters. He could still use his ambush jets to get the drop on them. Plus Alan had finally deduced white suits power, wormhole manipulation of some kind. He had seen it before, it's hard to fight against but not impossible. With his former team it would be easy, but since it is essentially him right now the odds weren't in his favor. White suit made a mistake thinking he was just a man in fancy armor. As he was falling, twenty feet from the ground, he readied the tip of his sword towards white suit and activated his ambush jets.

Designed to be silent yet fast, these jets were made to ambush just like there name. With the silence of the jets, their speed towards target within thirty meters, and white suit's unawareness of Carbon's actions came together for the best strike he would ever get in this fight. He was just over the six meter mark, meaning the time it would take for him to reach his target was just a single second. Then, them ambush jets activated. In a blink of an eye he went from the roof right towards white suit, striking his blade tip first right down on him. He landed with a BANG sending dust and debris all around, the sound of the impact noticeable within around the warehouse. Carbon couldn't tell if he had hit him or not, the debris and dust was still in the way. He was on the ground that was below him only a second before though, which was a sign that white suit hadn't enough time to react to wormhole at least. He then activated biovision to see if his target was dead.

By the time the newcomer had blown two new holes in the freakin' building - seriously, Retsu hoped whoever owned this dump had insurance - she had made her way along the wall and kept out of sight long enough to have situated herself almost directly behind the line of heroes, using what little cover of darkness remained to hide her presence.

With all the zapping, portaling, and shooting going on, Retsu found herself shocked that the body count wasn't higher. She figured at least a few of the stupider villains and heroes, looking at you, Tank Girl, would've bought the farm by now. But, nope. The death toll was still a big, fat goose egg. With a smirk, as her fingers unfastened the blade from its sheath, Retsu wondered if she might be able to change that.

As with before, the Wormhole generator was the prime target, but, that didn't mean Retsu could afford to ignore the other two, either. Even so, he was by a mile the biggest technical threat. Without him, the other two might've already succumbed to the hail of gunfire. Which was another point of interest: he has already shown himself willing to cover for his teammates' mistakes, intervening on their behalf, splitting his focus razor thin. A guy who's so spread out like that was bound to make a mistake or two eventually. With all the info she'd gathered, Retsu decided that the optimal time to strike would be - from a blind-spot, obviously - when he was forced to divert some of his attention to defend one or both of his fellow heroes... Or, when he used his power to send one of the villains into an advantageous position, only to have that self-same villain use that advantage to launch a possibly devastating counter-attack. Good 'nuff.

Bursting on the scene, quick and silent like a lioness emerging from brush-cover to run down a hapless gazelle, an unarmed Retsu charged the heroes' back-line. Tank Girl was her target - who had recently leaped back away from her confrontation with Saint after Wormhole had intervened. Gathering her strength and her focus for a swift and powerful strike, Retsu launched her balled up fist like an uppercut into Tank Girl's back. Her strike was angled in such a way that she'd have a clear shot at Tank Girl's rightmost kidney, a blow that, against a normal human, would've put them out of commission almost instantly from the pain. But, because all signs pointed to Tank Girl not being a normal human, Retsu was already rearing back to deliver a heavy blow to the back of her head with her other fist already cocked, with no intention of letting up after that. It was a dirty shot, but they were villains after all, right? And villains fight dirty.

All the while, she kept her eyes peeled, on both the twister man who'd only recently sent Zeus on a one-way ride in the Pain Train, as well as the Wormhole man who may-or-may-not have been taken out by the armored dude's aerial attack. She had a special surprise for one of them, depending on whether Wormhole man was out for the count of not.

The PaladinSeaside Warehouse

gabriel_the_9th___lms___by_danluvisiart-d5w5m4x.jpg
His bet was right on the money as he peaked around the corner of the container to see a wormhole gobble up his grenade and redirect it's blast in their direction. The man obviously had remarkable reflexes, or some kind of other power, to handle the onslaught of attacks. He was debating what to do next when yet another portal opened up beneath the other armored warrior, spitting him out in the air high above the heroes. There was an opportunity there, one he wasn't about to pass up. With Dragon in the air he moved out from behind his cover. His twin pistols were aimed directly at the good captain as he unleashed a volley of fire on the man. If he was right then wormhole would have to focus on his attacks. If he was wrong, both he and Dragon get the bad end of some portal absurdity.

While not the attack he expected, Dragon made good on his new positioned and rocketed down, slamming into the white suited hero and kicking up a cloud of debris. As if one big coordinated ballet there was yet another member of this dance that synchronized their attack with their own. He noted the scantily clad woman move up behind tank girl to lend the boy a hand. Probably making use of wormhole being occupied. And then, of course, came the biggest distraction of them all. Through the wall came a cargo container slamming down raining cement and metal all across their little battlefield. He had to duck behind his own container as shrapnel plinked off his cover.

As he stood there, back up against the container, he let out a gruff sigh accompanied by a plume of smoke. "I told her..." He wasn't sure who needed the talking to more, Vesper or Bright. Probably Bright. Leaning out from cover he looked up and sure enough there was that all too familiar sight. With the heroes largely occupied he quickly ducked out from behind his cover and made his way towards the newcomer. After a quick sprint he slid in behind the makeshift battering ram, looking up at the girl that floated in the air above. "Vee! Get down here!" He called out to the robed girl, pointing one of his pistols down to emphasis the command. With a few moments to spare he discarded his spent magazines and slipped in fresh ones. "Didn't I tell you to wait outside?" He spoke to the girl as he reloaded his weapons, a puff of smoke filtering out of his helmet along with the words.

"Yes, I did."
He spoke quickly, answering the question for her before she had the chance to speak. "And yet here you are." He let out another sigh as he peaked around the corner at the trio of heroes. "What's done is done, and since you're here you can help me finish off this fight. The guy in the white suit, the spinning guy, and the white haired girl are our targets. I don't much care about any of the others but for now let's try to keep collateral to a minimum." He gave Vesper the run-down of the situation, quickly catching her up to speed along with his directions. He knew what Vesper was capable of, the girl was far more powerful than he could ever be and was more than capable of handling herself. She didn't require any hand-holding, and so he gave her none. She had the information she needed and so with nothing more to say he yet again popped out of cover as Zeus was sent flying towards a wall. He aimed both of his pistols at the now-unoccupied Tornado and opened up on the man to keep him from helping his teammates.

  • Zeus
    Brickred Street - Warehouse

"Wow", Zeus thought as he was flung back into the wall. He was almost thankful he'd been flung out of the way, watching that explosion get eaten up as he zoomed out. This brings up memories, he reminisced, painful memories that came rushing back as his back met the cold surface of a wall instead of a locker.

Sliding back to earth, he winced as he gasped for breathe. Thank you Tech he groaned as the dull ache stretched across his back and he let a pop echo like an old weary man . "Remind me to get you a present when this is all over." And that's when he felt a jolt. A sweet jolt of sweet electricity. Zeus looked back towards the beyblade and grinned.

"Oh yeah", he snickered, not that it cold be seen. The human top was releasing discharge on the ground and Zeus knew he found himself a ticket to payback. When discharge released, he soaked it up through his boots and let that warm feeling of static go into his muscles. Electrons strengthened him, converted into energy that built the self-proclaimed god up; Increasing strength, speed, agility, and reflexes.

For one brief second he heard a loud thunk, then with unnatural speed his eyes zeroed in on Saint who'd just taken the brunt of a blow. It was less than a second before Zeus deduced his friend was alright, and right around the same time he saw the hot lioness rush past his buddy to deal some sweet damage to T-girl.

Zeus wished he had a pen. He definitely had to get Retsu's number sometime. But for now -prepping himself in an athletic take off- getting the hot mama's number would have to come later.

He had a beyblade to stop.

Zeus felt the word come into a familiar yet unfamiliar focus as he moved. He heard gunshots, heard breathing, and could almost feel the tension in the air as his senses doubled from the extra charge the human beyblade had given him. Within seconds he was charging Tornado again, this time faster. Much faster than his track based sprint. Streaks of white, blue, and neon flickered then disappeared in his wake and with roughly six seconds he'd closed the distance between him and Tornado.

There was a whizzing in his ears. Saint glanced as he rushed forward and caught the sight of bullets racing past him, so he changed direction, hopped left and right then came from the other side as Paladin's bullets came in a different direction.

Two times as fast as a heavy weight boxer the fist zoomed forward. He'd slug this human top and make him taste lead at the same time if he was lucky.

Zeus, kinda hoped he was lucky. And that Lady Luck wasn't being a prick.

Rally thought the noise filling the warehouse was pretty cool but it was pretty obvious that it was a huge distraction. She could barely hear what people were saying the closer she got to it. Granted she was more focused on the cool looking monster illusions. She'd have to remember to ask Kuroi about them later. But it wasn't like she could ignore the heroes either, after all her first priority was causing their destruction. She wasn't gonna be satisfied until they were all dead or living in complete misery.
For that to happen she had to be able to willing to get as close as possible. She went running in after blue boy and eye pop woman. She had a job to do. She grabbed out some of the poisonous needles from her pocket and used her power to send them flying directly at the hero. Unfortunately speaker guy seemed to have the similar power she did and deflected them making them start soaring at the blue boy instead.
    “Oh shit! No no no”
Rally ran as fast as she could to the boy grabbing out the antidote she kept on hand. She was readying it when she realized the boy seemed to be not reacting to the poison at all. Where was the foaming at the mouth and general seizures. There had never been a person that could withstand this before she put enough on each needle to put down a horse.
“How the hell are you alive?”
Before she could hear the answer Sonar turned to them with a menacing smile on his face. Rally turned to shoot him forwards. At that exact moment the two’s powers canceled each other out. Wait whoa what just happened. Can it happen again? Quickly Rally got up and continued to use her power over and over attempting to keep the hero occupied.

Kuroi _Nii-Chan To The Rescue~_

Kuroi, starting to feel weaker from the illusions currently still going mad around himself and others, now attacking one another in the most mind boggling ways ever. The effects of those cartoons his sister has made him watch with her were clearly taking their toll on the illusions. That being said, his newly adopted little sister was trying to attack the hero who was making so much noise, it was giving him such a big headache, with needles presumably full of something. Some even hit his little brother! That was not okay, even so they didn't seem to affect him. So that was okay, Rally was still getting a good scolding afterwords though.

That all being said, Rally had created a good opening. Not for one such as himself, as he was fairly sure the area around the hero had the same affect, however, so he probably couldn't get in from the back. Even Kuroi realized such, he'd be practically useless in this scenario. He had nothing he could really do at the moment, except for attempting to regain control of his illusions. To which he didn't even really want to bother with at this point, as it was the perfect amount of cluster fuckery to serve as a rather amazing distraction. So he just went over to his little bunny boy to remove the needles.

Kuroi then sighed, with as much disappointment as at his little brother's tactics as a real older brother would be. He solemnly decided that maybe he should probably just stick to guarding his lunar brother's bun-buns while the bunny boy took advantage of the opening. At least, his onii-chan prayed that he did.

Lunis didn't have much of a chance to react before the lady from earlier had sent him flying, and while he got close he didn't quite make it. To add insult to injury, he also got a handful of needles sent flying at him. He was about to just brush it off and charge again, but he heard the girl who had pulled him off running to him freaking out about something. The bunny boy blinked at her confused, and before he could figure out what she was talking about or how he should respond she had went back to fighting.

Now he could get in close with the girl holding off the hero, but just as he was about to take off again, the brotherly figure had come to his aid, pulling out the needles he had opted to ignore. Lunis watched the guy pull out the needles wordlessly, still confused about everything going around him. Once the guy finished, Lunis hopped happily, the stinging no longing remaining with the needles out.
"Thank you good Earthling!" With one of his hops, the childish alien patted the man's head, then charged off once again leaving his bunnies alone. The bunnies had gathered together, even the two non converted ones Kon had saved earlier had found their way back. Since Lunis was attacking on his own, they just settled around the brotherly figure who had just helped their master.

With the girl's powers cancelling the hero's powers, Lunis was now able to charge right at Sonar from the front, swinging a charged Bachi Bachi stick right at Sonar. In anticipation of impact, Lunis yelled "Whamo" , which in his mind empowered his strikes by adding sound effects.

  • #5: Gods & Monsters

Omni was back. She'd returned to him. Beau felt a pang of relief. He had to hide his face lest she see how afraid he'd been for her sake. He nodded. That man was the cause of all this noise. Beau thought it'd be a good idea to kill him, and now that Omni was safe once more by his side, he was free to do just that.

"Agreed. We should take him out, first." He added, shouting to be heard above the ceaseless din of static and gun-shots. "Let's---!?"

Beau's thoughts dissolved into shock and surprise as he felt a bullet graze his upper-arm. Danger. He was in danger. If that shot had flown true, he could have died. Where...? Where had it come from? With blood-shot eyes, Beau found what he was looking for: a gun-toting hero was firing indiscriminately a few paces away.

Everything disappeared except for him and her. Beau fed recently, so he was strong, now. Strong enough to tear her apart. And that's just what he'd do. He lifted his arm, leveled the weapon, her weapon, training its sights on its former master before pulling the trigger. Firing haphazardly, Beau unloaded the rest of the clip before discarding the empty handgun on the floor as he strafed away from incoming fire. He left Omni and the others behind as he tucked behind a sizable chunk of debris for cover.

With a moment to breathe, Beau took a look at the wound on his arm. He was bleeding, but it wasn't too deep. All the same, the bitch who did it would pay with her life. That much Beau knew for certain. And as he thought about all the cruel and creative ways he'd like to pick her to pieces, he began to reach out with his power, enough to fill the whole warehouse with his influence, before focusing it down to a razor thin singularity, with the gun-girl as its epicenter.

Tap tap tap tap

The sound of leather shoe steps echoed through the brick alleyway as Lily ran into the warehouse. She had come in late due to her car having a problem. When she arrived in the area, an explosion greeted her immediately. She ran at full speed toward the source, her vials clinked in her small case of medicine. Her mind was racing as she got closer to the warehouse. Had they been found out? Was the invitation a trap made by heroes to catch wannabe villains? Countless possibilities flowed relentlessly through the head of the pharmacist. As she got closer to the entrance of the warehouse, her feet stopped at its place.

To say the warehouse was a mess would be an understatement. Gaping holes were present at the roof while the entrance was blocked with debris. She could hear the sound of bullets and fight inside. Lily adjusted her glasses as she considered her possibilities. She could take a high dose of stimulant to boost her strength for a short time and climbed inside from the hole in the roof. Or she could simply slip through the entrance, even if it will take more time.

With the fight going on inside, Lily made her choice. She wasn't strong enough to fight directly, so stealth would be her friend. She prepared two syringes in preparation. After moving a few broken beams and rubbles aside, she had made a passage big enough for her to squeeze into. She was greeted by a ringing noise that pierces her ears. The fight she entered was mind-boggling. Illusions of monstrosity were everywhere. A girl and a young boy were fighting a young man with her power. In the midst of the fight, Lily faced another problem.

She had no idea who were the villains and heroes.

Lily moved briskly to avoid the fight, looking for a telltale to determine who was what. She opted to avoid a huge green lizard, who while had a high possibility to be a villain, had a higher possibility to be hostile. In the middle of the chaos, one person was more inactive than the rest. He watched his surrounding warily, yet stay unmoved at his place. Feeling a chance, she approached the figure deftly with a timid look and asked with a soft but loud voice to overcome the ringing,

"Excuse me, are you a hero?"

Kuroi _The Harmless Bunny-Sitter_

Kuroi was practically beaming with the same kind of glow he had gained when he'd met Rally for the first time, having his new little brother tell him good job was enough to make the rest of his day. To add icing on the cake, the bunnies he'd thought of watching over earlier now seemed to be gathering around him. He wondered if his little brother had any names for them... He'd have to ask after this fight was over, now he was just proud of his little siblings. He would've shed a tear if it weren't for-

"Excuse me, are you a hero?"

This question triggered several red flags, and now that he had a family to think about, he was going to have to be extremely careful. And so, as he turned to face the girl, who he noted looked like a librarian or secretary, he replied trying his best to be gentlemanly but still cautious "Depends. Who wishes to know?" He had a family to care for now, he couldn't risk such a thing. Of course, the bunnies left in his care were also like family, seeing as his little brother seemed to be rather fond of them.

He was careful. In retrospect, she had phrased the question very suspiciously it would raise the alarm of everyone, except the arrogant and the dense. Lilian took a step back and quickly analysed the situation. The black haired teen seemed to be wary, but he hadn't been doing anything as far as she noticed. Two distinct possibilities popped up in her mind: Either he was a beginner hero told to stay put, or a villain with a supportive type of power. Two possibilities.

She took a quick glance around the room to look for clues of the teenager's identity. The warehouse was dimly lit that it was hard for her to look very far. The illusions were still going on a rampage, though more uncontrollable than before. She speculated that the caster of illusions needed high concentration to do so. Was it possible for it to be the young man in front of her? She couldn't dismiss the chance.

Lilian made a decision at that point: The man in front of her had a higher possibility to be a villain. Besides, she had a trump card if he turned out to be a hero. She opened the medical kit and took a syringe filled with stimulant drugs. With an assuring smile on her face, she introduced herself to the young man.

"You can call me Miss Apothecary. Secret manufacturer of exclusive drugs for Archeo's underground medicine and drugs black market. I can help to strengthen you if you want to join the fight,"

Kuroi _The Gentleman?!?_

Looking her over for a moment, and analyzing her introduction, Kuroi found nothing wrong with Miss Apothecary. Though her original question was still waving a few flags, they'd been less enthusiastic about the ordeal. That may have been due to his current exhaustion from the illusions, or possibly that one of the bunnies had decided to make his foot home. So it wasn't exactly like he could just run off, lest he disturb the peace of an adorable mini-mammal.

Though her offer was tempting, he'd found he'd much rather stay put. Who knew what effects such drugs would have on his illusions? It would be much easier to save it for a villain who could do more then he could. And so he replied, followed by his introduction "Ahh... Thank you for the offer, however I must decline. You may call me The Demon Prince, or DP if you'd prefer, it's nice to meet you, Miss Apothecary."

He was still somewhat skeptic, however she had a pretty good alibi. Besides, a new ally would always be welcome in this maddening fight, as if his head was being pounded in by a large cartoon hammer, speaking of which one of the Acme illusions had gained a giant cartoon hammer. Now the illusions were starting to show off his thoughts, and he realized at this moment he should probably try to take back control if only to keep them from revealing his darkest thoughts and desires. "Excuse me for a moment..." Kuroi took in a deep breath as he said so, gathering his concentration to bring his illusions back into his own control.

Let's pray nothing distracts Kuroi too much...

She tilted her head slightly to the left. It wasn't surprising that he rejected her offer. After all, she was still a newcomer in the middle of a battle. There was no solid indication of her affiliation except for her words, and from experience, words were flimsy evidence at best and lie at worst. To take another step further, she offered him a drug injection. Most people with common sense wouldn't agree to give a stranger permission to inject an unknown substance into their body.

"I understand. I will leave you with your own device. Could you tell me which one between the girl and the young man she is fighting is a hero?"

Kuroi _Regaining Control 2017_

Kuroi had begun concentrating on regaining his illusions, even so, Lily's question wasn't a big distraction, he hadn't gotten completely in the zone yet anyways. His reply was thus "Rally is the girl, and the boy is the hero. Please don't hurt my little sister..." And with that, he shut out the rest of reality in favor of concentrating his energy on regaining control of his illusions. Though he didn't elaborate on the 'please don't hurt my little sister' part, it was clear enough that he had referenced Rally. At least, in his eyes.

While waiting for an opening, Fae was instead surprised by the sudden move made by the ninja wannabe. Her plans were cut short, and she'd probably be a even shorter than she already was if the hero got his way with those blades of his. She didn't like this situation one bit, but her mind was already working on ways to counterattack. She would feign surprise and fear, creating a false opening, then lash out by quickly shapeshifting herself a pair of razor sharp claws once the hero was in range.

Although she preferred to use weapons as it did not require her to put her own body at stake, it was always important to burst down the DPS assassin. Should that fail, she was still an extremely proficient martial artist, though having low attack range with her switchblade would certainly be a disadvantage. As long as the ninja couldn't teleport around in a puff of smoke, she was certain she'd be able to handle him in a one on one situation. The other two were busy enough dealing with her fellow villains. Turns out she guessed right about Omega being strong. The occasional stray bullet did worry her, but luckily there were plenty of meat shields/decoys to cover for her.

She began to put her plan into action, turning towards the ninja dude, and took what appeared to be an instinctive step back, fear and surprise written on her face like an open book. Her widened eyes were clearly dilated, perks of being a shapeshifter. Bringing her arms up (palms facing outward) in a feeble attempt to 'protect' herself, she readied herself to attack when the opportunity presented itself. It was time to find out if the Nightowl's head could also turn 360 degrees. Technically speaking, any head could if separated from the rest of the body.

While she waited, supposedly cowering in fear in the face of death, the warehouse was suddenly filled with odd... Things. She wasn't sure if it was real, or just illusions, but decided to opt with the second option. If it were real, then there might as well be an eldritch horror from some Lovecraftian novel bursting through the walls like the koolaid man. What's worse, the illusions began to engage eachother in some comical 'fighting' of sorts. She would've broke out in laughter right then and there were she not engaged in a battle of her own.

The illusions were a good distraction nonetheless, and it could come in handy in the fight against the ninja. He seemed well disciplined and focused, so she doubted it, but a midget could hope. She also hoped that her size and stature would cause her opponent to underestimate her, if he didn't already from her (self proclaimed) flawless acting skills. Should things go perfectly, this fight could potentially end in a single blow, but thing rarely went so smoothly. As a precaution, her legs, strengthened by shapeshifting, were set to spring into action for a close range attack, but were also more than ready to leap back into safety.

Again, Lily simply nodded in acknowledgement instead of giving a verbal reply. She could see that the boy was indeed the illusionist, and he had a hard time concentrating to keep them up. She adjusted her glasses and turned her attention toward the fight. Based on what the illusionist had said, the girl, Rally, was the villain she needed to side with. However, it would be hard for her to strengthen the girl as the fact she was not a hero was unclear and dubious at the moment.

She would need to enter the fight personally.

Lily rolled up her left sleeve and injected her arm with the syringe. In an instant, she could feel her muscles contracted with amazing intensity. Her heart beat in a faster rhythm than it was possible for her normally. Her sense was so keen she could feel the taste of dust and iron in the air. With her heightened hearing, the ringing became deafening. Even with her heightened sense, she could feel her immune and metabolic system at work, trying to flush the foreign injection out of her system. She would need to hurry.

With a trained routine, she refilled the syringe she had used with depressant drugs. The sanitation didn't matter. She wouldn't use it on someone she care about. She slipped another syringe filled with stimulant into her left pocket. Her kit safely secured in her grip, Lily crouched on the concrete floor and jumped to Rally's side at an astounding speed. With the same finesse, she threw the depressant syringe at the young boy.

A deep sense of satisfaction washed over the Wafflesia after she saw Cira finish her syrupy waffle. She still thought badly of him for refusing her treat, though. He then asked her couple of questions, which she didn't quite get. There was some stuff about getting shot, but she couldn't catch it over the sound of people killing eachother. Listening wasn't her strong suit, to say the least, but this time she had an excuse in the form of gunshots and explosions. "Do whatever you want, mate, but you really don't need to worry about getting shot. You're already an asshole so a few extra holes won't matter much, ya get me?" She said in between bites of her speed buff waffle.

She was almost finished with the waffle, quickly chewing the last bite when a container burst through the wall, causing her to choke on the syrupy, creamy goodness of her own waffle. The Boobzilla was left coughing and choking for a bit before finally managing to get the traitorous fiends down her gullet, making an OK sign with her hand to no one in particular. "Whew~ Now that's something I only wanna experience somewhere private." Fortunately for all those in earshot, she chose not to elaborate what she meant.

Wiping a bead of sweat off her brow, she prepped herself to make a run for whichever villain interested her most. She couldn't really see much in the darkness of the warehouse, but the light provided by firearms and flashy powers were enough to give her a general idea of what was happening. The neon tron guy instantly became her top pick, but the electrifying battle he was engaged in was something she'd rather not partake. Her little eyes then spied tron boy's partner, not that she knew they were a couple. She didn't care much for disguises, but god damn was that the most badass mask she'd ever seen.

Giving a loud whistle of approval upon seeing the fireball, she wiped her now sticky hands on Cira's wings, giving them a gentle patting afterwards. "Welp, time to set up the show. Cya later, alligator~" Patting his wings one last time, she made a run for the masked villain. As she ran, she played a quick game of eenie meenie miney mo in order to select which buff waffle to give him. She was simply too lazy to try and figure out which waffle would work best. Even if a circle didn't fit perfectly in a square, at least it still fits.

Red knew this was gonna be a pain when the roof caved in. Hell he certainly didn't care for standing on the sidelines, that's why he came into the warehouse in first place. Unfortunately with how much the warehouse was already slowly getting destabilized it would be an incredibly stupid idea to purposely cause more explosions. In fact he felt like he should be judging them on how they seemed to be completely ignoring the failing structural integrity.
He supposed that’d be wrong to score though as it did seem like they weren't really aiming for that, and most of the damage was from the heroes either directly or indirectly. Fuck these random bullets were annoying he usually wouldn't care but the building really would come down at this point if he got hit. That would probably kill most of them now that he thought of it, heroes and villain alike. It’d be a possibility to consider if not for the fact that Glitch was down here too. Not only would he feel bad he’d have to be on the run the rest of his life.
Either way even with the few complete dumb asses they had quite the promising selection. While he decided that teamwork would be rewarded he didn't expect to actually see some, after all it didn't seem like they seemed to know each other as none of them were particularly good at it. Which just meant that he’d be focusing in on that when he dug into their lives for whoever planned to still stay with them after this.
Throughout the fight he already marked out three with natural teamwork tendencies, and two that seemed to just be useful in general whether they naturally leaned to teamwork or he had to beat it into them. The others had the chance to turn it around still, except for the one that fled. Wait was there a new person running around. Nice managed to get around Psycho Bullet plus one point newbie.

Meanwhile, on the 10A...

Music was pumping into 367's head as he sat in the back seat of the bus. It was late, so there was hardly anyone on - and besides, all anyone saw if they looked at him was a 'uncouth' young man wearing unstylish track pants with a bright shirt, a backwards cap and far too much jewellery. Next to him was his guitar case, and he looked like he had just returned from band practice playing in a band you've never heard of, or will ever hear of. Of course, this was all just a ruse. If he went to where he was going dressed otherwise, it would probably get heated with at least 4 dead police officers. Hence the disguise - there wasn't much else you can do to sneak a sniper rifle into a warehouse district.

Deciding to get off a few stops away from the warehouse, around a five to ten minute walk, he could already hear something coming from there. Deciding to pick up the pace, utilizing his many years of cardio training, he got there in just under five minutes. Hiding against a wall, out of sight to everyone, 367 quickly kneels down to open his guitar case. It took a surprisingly short time to assemble the gun, as he has done the classic guitar case sniper ruse before, as he quickly fell onto one knee. His eyes, although unnoticeable in the surrounding dark, changing - a sign that his enhanced vision was activated - he quickly held his breath as he searched for the cause of the noise. He already knew what the cause was - he had heard of 'Sonar' before, but the question was where was he...

It didn't take that long. He could even see the surrounding area vibrate violently as Sonar stood, creating the static that flooded the area. An easy target, usually, but the sound was certainly getting to him. While his 'background' helped the pain, it still pierced through. He wasn't going to take the shot like this - if he was going to be discovered, at least start it with a dead hero. Quickly, 367 took his shirt off and wrapped it around his ears - it helped dampen the sound a bit, if not blinding him in the process, but 367 didn't need eyes to see his target.

It was still a bit off putting, but it was enough for him to at least take a few shots and still be happy about it. Taking a deep breath, he started to unload multiple rounds in the general direction of Sonar.

BriiAngelic BriiAngelic (i'll let you decide whether any of the shots actually made contact - we'll say he fired three in quick succession)

Kuroi _Losing Then Gaining Control 2018_

Kuroi had just regained control when the sound had started to raise in volume. The very moment he could reshape the illusions, the sound became maddening. At least, he properly managed to dispel the illusions this time, finally ending the cluster fuck before it had gotten worse. The real heros and villains were the only ones left, and they'd probably stay that way. Kuroi was far too tired to reconjure that level of cluster fuckery for a while. Though if he really wanted, he could probably still escape. On a technical level, that is.

But the bun-buns were all clustered around him, and he didn't want to disappoint his little brother by kicking the one off his foot, besides. What kind of big brother left their little siblings? Sure, a good older brother let them be 'independent' from time to time, but they never truly left! Always watching, always. Such was the job of the true Onii-Chan.

And this Onii-Chan had a front row seat.

To be entirely honest, Cira felt a bit relieved for her to go. He no longer had to talk to her, and more importantly he could finally get to the fight. With renewed vigor set off, his submachine gun at his side as he dashed forward to the rubble in the middle, his eyes adjusting to the dark as he starts to see the three figures engaged in combat, first one he saw was some man wearing a white suit, someone he instantly though was a yakuza, but quickly dismissed the thought knowing that these people we're 'heros', and there was no way in hell they'd have any ties to the yakuza. Maybe some criminal organizations of some sort but not the yakuza. The second person he saw was a girl, one that looked too young to be in this type of work. And one that looked too young to die this early. She'd have to die. There was no way around that. Nobody could just make an entrance like that and expect to live. Especially when dealing with 'villains'. A moment later he knew exactly who he'd be fitting. The last figure he saw was the one he knew he would end up fighting. The man with the tornado abilities. He ran over to him, making his way and holding his gun out at him, his heart rate quickening steadily as the spray of bullets spurted out from his gun as he turned upward, rushing towards him as he opens his mouth, a torrent of flame spewing out of it and at the man, followed by another spraying of bullets at the man, hoping to overwhelm him enough with both the fire power from his mouth and the fire power from his gun, as well as the fire power of the other person fighting him. With any luck, they'd be able to kill him quickly and move on to the man in the suit.

The color seemed to fill the toons vision, her psychotic smile on the verge of splitting her face. While the villains tried to protect themselves, Acme decided to take her chance with the hero. She put her thumb once again her mouth, inflating her hand about seven times its natural size.

The ear piercing sound made her brain buzz but all that went through her mind was destruction. She reeled back the arm, it going out of the warehouse and stretching onwards.
“Hey Greenie! Heads up!” And with that, the hand was shot forward, taking the user with it towards the hero. She was ready, preparing to cave in that face, to make sure no more sound could be uttered by it.

Red on white, that was the new colors of the man’s suit as the dust cleared. However, something else could be seen, a Wormhole where the sword had rested on top of him, the other portal at his chest, shooting the sword out at the attacker. “You idiot.” Another portal was at his side where the bullets were sucked in. CW looked straight at Carbon Dragon, blood trickeling from his head. “You honestly think you’d land a critical hit on me?” The bullets shot out of the portal as well, it then closing down on the sword to split it in half. He was gone as well, now in the middle of the battlefield. “If I go out.” More portals came, expanding in size around their master. “Might as well take you all with me!” The portals acted as a vacuum, sucking up debri, stray bullets, and other things laying around. The “Hero” turned around, staring at the giant cargo battering ram, using his vacuum to suck it up as well. “That’s right! I’m your boss battle.” Maybe that hit did something to the man, all that could be known is that he wasn’t playing around now. Wherever this stuff was going, probably wasn’t a place you’d want to visit.

Tank Girl and Tornado Thunder seemed to get the short end of the stick. After fighting the man, Tank Girl felt two blows, one to her head and another to her side, a dirty attack. She swerved around, looking straight at the exposed woman.
“I’m going to feel that in the morning.” Her remark was through clenched teeth as she pulled back her foot and shot forward towards the woman’s abdomen in hopes of throwing her into a wall. Meanwhile, Tornado was hit in the face and abdomen, his sight becoming blurry as he was on the verge of vommiting. Before he could react anymore, a turret of bullets and fire had him down for the count, it was just too much for the man to handle. He lay dead and burning, the last flicker of life leaving him as Tank Girl was now the last one standing and sane. The suction from the vacuum was the least of her worries.

Lilian "Lily" White AKA Miss Apothecary
Drug Dealer (Supervillain to-be)
Bricked Street - Warehouse

Lily winced as the ringing in her ear grew louder. She tried to ignore it, but the ringing increased to a level where she couldn't pretend it wasn't there. She covered her ears and stepped away from Sonar, the source of the ringing. Her sharpened senses backfired, making the sound more painful for her to bear. Her instinct went wild, telling her to escape before she received permanent ear damage. Her brain rebelled, going through the list of medication that could possibly reduced hearing sensitivity.

"Gentamicin... ethacrynic acid... carboplatin... agh!" It felt like her head was going to explode. She curled on the concrete ground, desperate to get away from the heroes. As her mind listed numerous substances, a medication rang a bell.

"Macrolide..." Antibiotic macrolide was generally used to treat infections caused by Gram-positive, but it had an ototoxicity property in high dosage. Her discovery only gave her a momentary joy.

She didn't bring macrolide along with her.

She hadn't thought of the possibility when sharpened senses are a liability and not an asset. And here I am, a liability and not an asset. The situation felt ironic. Knowing she couldn't do any more good staying around, Lily retreated to Kuroi's side. She tried to fasten the drug's neutralisation inside her body, but the process worked slower compared to when she neutralised someone else. She took some cotton from her first aid kit and stuffed her ears. It helped, even if only a little.

"I couldn't be of much help..." she muttered more to herself than to anyone. She turned her attention toward the illusionist boy. She had been focused on her hearing that she had only realised that the illusions were gone. She looked questioningly at Kuroi.

"Do you have any other ability that can help against the sound wielder?"

That got her attention. Good. Meanwhile, Retsu spotted a bloodied Wormhole man through the dust. So he was still alive, huh? Well, that's just as well. More glory for me, then. She was about to use her super secret move to take him out when, suddenly, he was gone. She caught sight of him again near the center of the room. How'd he get there? Through one of his own worm-holes, obviously. No good. He was out of her guaranteed kill range. Sighing internally, she figured that for now she'd have to settle for Tank Bitch. Though, she thought to herself as she glanced over the clearly less-experienced hero, this one was definitely worth less points. Mehhh, I wanna win, but I guess I'll take what I can get for now.

Tank Girl said something about feeling the blows to her head and kidney in the morning. How cute. Retsu admired her spunk, and almost pitied her fate. Pfft, yer not gonna be feeling anything in a second, girlie. At around the same time, Tornado Guy was biting the dust (it was about time!) and Wormhole Man was creating, well, wormholes and sucking everything into them. Retsu figured that meant he'd given up on defending his teammates. Which means she didn't need to hold back any longer for fear of random worm-holes foiling her best-laid plans.

"Oof!" Retsu felt the blow from the other woman's foot on her chest. It took a concerted effort on her part to keep her feet, but Retsu managed to hold her ground for the most part, but she'd definitely need to take a moment to catch her breath after this was finished. In the same motion, she clapped both hands down around the Tank Girl's ankle and squeezed, attempting to keep it planted against her bosom, if only for an instant. An instant, after all, was all she needed. Retsu tried twisting the hero's foot around in an effort at off-balancing the Tank Girl on her sole remaining leg. She winked at her opponent and blew her a kiss, a last farewell. "Better luck in your next life. Mwah ~."

Silent and deadly, her sword flew out from the shadows behind her, nearly grazing its owner's cheek at full speed. A gust of wind followed in its wake, throwing Retsu's hair into disarray for the second time that evening. The blade's current trajectory had it punching through Tank Girl's chest cavity and skewering her heart before re-emerging out the other side to plant itself in the concrete floor, all before you could say, "It's clobberin' time!" So long as Retsu had hold of her foot, she wasn't going anywhere. Not that anything short of super-speed could dodge her sword at point-blank range. Sayonara.

Kuroi _Bun-Bun sitter_

Kuroi had mostly just been silently rooting for his siblings and protecting the bun-buns gathered around him. These bun-buns were his little brother's so as Nii-san, it was his duty to take care of them! Either way, the questioned posed by Miss Apothecary certainly was something he had no true answer to. He may be able to shadow travel, however that would take far too long, and besides it was already dark, and blinding a hero would help no one in this situation. The cons outweighed the pros for using any of his other abilities.

And so his reply was thusly "My apologies, however, I'm simply an illusionist." He took a pause before continuing, "And I've already exhausted that ability." It was the simple truth that Kuroi was utterly useless at the moment. Well, save for taking care of the bunnies. The bunnies were the only thing he could really take care of in such a moment, even if the sound was making his headache the worst Hell one could go through. He couldn't truly do anything about it.
